Mabel Pines was seeker of exciting new experiences at the core of her being. She loved parties, making friends and creating new things.

And so when she found herself in China on one such spontaneous adventure, saving a girl from drowning in a river. Only to find she had become someone else when she woke, she put it up as another strange new adventure.

Mabel didn't exist anymore, at least not as she once was.

By the time she woke on the cold hard ground by the pool she had been given the memories of the girl she saved. She thought perhaps this was actually reincarnation, and that Mabel was her former life and so she decided to embrace the new life of Song Yaoyao.

Tears came to her eyes as she coughed up pool water, the tears fell down her cheeks as she looked at the young woman that was kneeling beside her with a fake look of concern on her face. After Mabel's teen years she learned the hard way fake looks from real ones.

"This jinx!" Someone scoffed before turning back to the party.

Song Jingwan, her new older sister, scolded the people who talked bad about Song Yaoyao but it wasn't done out of real protection but to keep a caring face.

The new Song YaoYao gave her new sister a bright smile, "I'm cold, big sis, could you help me to our hotel room?"

Her sister tucked a dark curl behind YaoYao's ear, "Of course, I would have done so even if you hadn't asked." She turned toward her party goers, "Let's end the night here, I need to look after my little sister."

--

Back in their room, Song YaoYao whispered eerily behind her sister's ear, "I know what you did." She giggled.

The socialite, Song Jingwan, jumped slightly a shiver running down her spine. "I don't know what you mean."

"You pushed me. You killed me." A sharp toothed smile reflected in the mirror behind Song Jingwan but when she blinked her sister was dressed in a fresh soft yellow dress and comfy sweater smiling sweetly at her, her head tilted to the side.

"Is everything alright, big sis?"

Song YaoYao had to stop the laughter the threatened to burst from her mouth at how spooked the older sister looked as she quickly excused herself before leaving the room.

Song YaoYao waited a moment before slipping the extra key card in her sweater pocket just as her stomach rumbled. Time to find some food.

Looking over the new memories she realized she was at a mountain resort, she looked up as she wandered outside marvelling at beautiful full moon that hung above her head. She wondered if this dimension had werewolves too.

She drifted further and further off the beaten path, unknowing she was entering a private section of the hotel. The light was dimmer where she was now. She looked around realizing she might have gotten lost when she ran into a wall of muscles falling to the ground.

"Ow!" Tears fells welled up in her eyes and she realized this body had a remarkably low tolerance to pain. Embarrassingly she felt her body shuddering as sobs came from her throat.

She finally lifted her head to find the person she ran into, whoa he was handsome and impressive even in the low light. He looked like some fantastical dragon from those webcomics she'd read traveling. Sharp features, black hair, and pair of narrow 'phoenix' shaped eyes that made him rather sensual. On his body he wore a long silver Chinese-style robe, he looked like he belonged in a legendary painting in a museum somewhere.

Seeing her in a daze the man, Huo Yunque, shook his head, "Nothing to say? Then I'm leaving." Only to find his robe was tugged from the bottom, he looked down to find the girl kneeling and holding on the edge of his robe.

"Apologize."

"Excuse me?" His eyes narrowed further, and watched as she slowly rose brushing off her dress and looked at him her eyes still filled with tears.

"If you don't want to apologize, then kiss it..." She pointed to a red spot on her forehead that was slightly bruising from them bumping into each other. She blushed, "Or you can blow on it."

Huang Qi looked incredulously at the young woman before Master Huo.

Huo Yunque looked at the girl expression blank. What a strange young woman, too strange and presumptive.

He was about to turn away again when he noticed she was shivering in her thin sweater, and sandal shoes. He looked back into her watery eyes to see him looking at him with hope and determination. He pursed his lips and before he knew it he was bending down and blowing on the red bump on her head.

She smiled brighter before gingerly touching her bump that was warm from his breath. Was he magic? It didn't hurt as much anymore.

With a swirl of his robe, Huo Yunque turned away. "I'm leaving."

Before he was out of sight she shouted, "I'm Song YaoYao by the way. Thank you, Gege." She smiled softly as he paused before she skipped off unknowing he watched her do so. So he also saw when she got absolutely lost again in the gardens.

Huo Yunque cleared his throat before looking at his subordinate, "Show her the way out."

As Huang Qi turned away he couldn't help the look of absolute confusion on his face, when had Master Huo been so caring?
