It was nighttime in Tengu City was in her hideout which was the ruins of an old out of date apartment that was due for a renovation. Kurumi was laying down in a bed nearly lapsing out of consciousness. She used a lot of her power to prevent Shido from getting killed by agents of DEM in order to devour his power and kill the Spirit of Origin, the killer of her friend Sawa. She was lying on the bed as if it was her deathbed and that she had died. Beside her are Shido himself and a clone of Kurumi who bore a resemblance of her younger self as she like Past Kurumi has long black hair, her left eye being covered by an eye patch and the dress past Kurumi wore who was talking to Shido about the journey they had in Kurumi's past.

When the original Kurumi woke up to see them, she was red as a cherry due to her blushing with embarrassment over the clone of her past self-spilling of her past and other secrets about Kurumi such as how she saved him 204 times from the clutches of DEM. Kurumi then grabbed her gun and fired it and the noise of the gun firing it's bullet made the clone Kurumi jump out of the way as she grabbed on Shido and they were hugging each other like a husband and wife.

"My my" Kurumi said sternly to her clone as she held her smoking gun at the clone, "I guess you enjoyed your chat with Shido, me." She then looked at Shido and said embarrassed as she looked away like a typical tsundre girl, "I only saved you because I didn't want you to die, otherwise I would not be able to gain the spirit powers you sealed so far."

Shido then replied with a smile, "Yeah I get it." and he then said, "Lets leave it that for today."

The clone of Kurumi then covered the real Kurumi who was naked with the blanket on the bed she was sleeping in as if she was tucking in Kurumi like she was tucking a child in for bed or a nap. Shido seeing Kurumi in her current state and learning about her past and why she wants his power had decided that he would allow Kurumi to devour the spirit powers he sealed when kissing the other spirits. He believed that it would not be a good idea since Rataskor and the others need him for the final battle with DEM and Westcott who's preparing for war. However, such a war would be catastrophic for Tengu City who had its fair share of catastrophes and incidents and if he died in the process of giving up his powers to Kurumi, then DEM might ignore him and believe that he died already and the others would be safe. Plus, If Kurumi went back in time to kill the Spirit of Origin, 30 years ago, then the catastrophic Eurasian spacequake would not occur and there would be no catastrophes, no DEM and the casualties caused by the spacequakes and spirits would not occur. Origami would have never lost her parents; Kotori would never become a spirit and the incident five years ago would have never happened. Shido if he sacrificed all of his spirit powers to help Kurumi would save the lives of multiple innocent people.

"Kurumi" said Shido boldly, "I have decided."

"Pardon" asked a confused Eyepatch Kurumi.

"Kurumi" Shido said boldly, "I've decided to give you the powers of the spirits that I have sealed so far and my powers."

Epatch Kurumi then gave a face of shock and horror when she heard Shido say this to her and she then began to snap at him.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING SHIDO!" snapped Eyepatch Kurumi who was shocked, confused and angry.

"I WANT TO HELP YOU!" snapped Shido, "YOU HELPED ME MULTIPLE TIMES AND NOW I WANT TO HELP YOU!"

Eyepatch Kurumi when hearing this was shocked and astounded, why would Shido do this, even though he might lapse out of consciousness. Why would Shido want to give her what she wants despite their tumultuous relationship in the past. However, he did make bold decisions that were risky such as saving Origami's parents in the incident five years ago which changed time and created a new timeline in which saved Tengu City from getting destroyed by Inverse Origami.

Shido was indeed bold and brave, but he was also intent on helping her because she saved his life multiple times from DEM just to devour his powers and go back in time to kill the Spirit of Origin so none of the disasters and pain she caused will ever happen and she will even have Sawa as her friend again. This would be a great way to repay Kurumi who saved him from the jaws of death 204 times.

"Wow Shido" Kurumi says astonished, "I never knew you would give in very easily."

"Well" Shido said boldly, "I thought about it and you saving me and showing me of your past with Phantom"

Eyepatch Kurumi then asked concerned, "You really sure about this?"

"Yes"

"If you give up your spirit powers, you would end up dying."

"I'll do it, as a way to repay you for saving me."

Kurumi then said with a sly smile, "My my, you really do have noble intentions do you."

Shido then said, "Look, I want to help you, you saved me 204 times and helped me save Tengu City from Inverse Origami."

Kurumi then said, "I do like your generous way of repaying me, but I want to know your true feelings before I devour your powers."

Shido then was about to say, but he was blushing as he was afraid to admit it, despite the fact it was only him and Kurumi and that nobody else was around to hear him say it. Shido then cleared his throat and he then replied with, "I love you for you are the best girl I had ever known." After hearing Shido say that. Kurumi then started making tears of sorrow. How could she do this to Shido, how could she devour his powers and kill him, the very man who was nice to a girl like her with a twisted sense of justice.

Shido and Kurumi then began kiss. The lips of both the boy and girl had touched each other and they even hugged each other too. While this happened, Shido's powers and all of the powers of the spirits had departed from Shido's body and entering the body of Eyepatch Kurumi. After the kissing ritual was complete, Darkness and shadows had enveloped Shido in a creepy manner and Shido was erased from existence and so was Eyepatch Kurumi who vanished like a ghost.

Kurumi then woke up from the bed after hearing a noise and saw that her renegade eyepatch clone and Shido were vanishing into thin air and this made her make the face of someone witnessing their worst nightmare. She then screamed, "SHIDO!?" When Shido heard her, he then looked at Kurumi and said with a kind and loving, but sad smile, "Kurumi, you're the best girl I had ever met and I love you." and he then vanished into thin air as the shadows then enveloped him to the point that he was erased from existence as if he was feeling the effects of the Thanos snap. This was also happening to the clone of her younger self from the past and Kurumi then put her foot down.

Kurumi yelled at her clone, "WHAT'S HAPPENING ME!?"

The clone then said, "The ritual has been done, we have devoured the powers of Shido."

The clone and Shido then vanished into thin air and the clone of Kurumi had now re-entered the body of Kurumi as her work was now done. Kurumi was feeling a mix of emotions as she was happy that Shido gave her his powers so she can enough power to go back in time to kill the Spirit of Origin and undo the damage and crimes she had committed, the crimes Kurumi herself had committed and finally put an end to the chaos and devastation the world had to endure because of the Spirit of Origin. However she was distraught with the loss of Shido, the only person who appreciated her and loved her, despite everything she did.

Kurumi had multiple flashbacks of her moments with Shido in the past and his confession of love to her, a girl with a twisted sense of justice that made her look like a villain to many including Shido. Kurumi was also remembering stuff that Shido had said to her such as, I love you for you are the best girl I had ever known. The flashbacks and remembering of Shido's kind gestures had given Kurumi a headache as she was trying to get it all out of her head.

I WANT TO HELP YOU!

STOP IT!, Kurumi thought to herself angrily, GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!

YOU HELPED ME MULTIPLE TIMES AND NOW I WANT TO HELP YOU!

STOP IT!, Kurumi thought to herself angrily to which she couldn't get it out of her head and she was now having a hard time keeping her tears inside of her eyes as she remembered Shido. Then she remembered his love confession which really made her upset about what happened.

I love you for you are the best girl I had ever known.

This made Kurumi scream loudly and with sorrow, "NOOOO!" and yell with tears in her eyes, "WHY GOD! WHY DID SHIDO HAVE TO DIE!"

She was distraught over Shido dying, but it had to be done, for his death was essential to complete her goal and end the life of the first spirt and finally rid the world of the pain and, devastation suffering it had to endure by the spirts and spacequakes for thirty fucking years. However, Shido's death was the worst sin she had committed and it made her plunge into despair and sorrow. Plus, she would be paranoid of the reactions of the other spirits such as Tokha who loved Shido with all of her heart because of everything he had done for her and Kotori who was even Shido's sister. They would be angry with Kurumi for the death of Shido and distraught over his death the same way that she was.

However, they won't matter anymore, now that Shido has died and given her all of his powers so she, the queen of time manipulation can go back in time and put an end to all of the pain that had occurred for thirty years, including the loss of Sawa. Kurumi then grabbed the gun known as Zafkiel, which was her angel, pressed it to her head as she then gave an excited and elated smile of full anticipation as she was now using it's full power to go back in time.

"12TH BULLET! YUD BET!"

After using the bullet, Yud Bet, Kurumi then vanished from the face of the earth the same way Shido and her clone vanished from the face of the earth.
