A Final Goodbye

A/N: Hi, it's been a while since I last posted. I'm back with a new story that I can't seem to shake
off, so I decided to write a small excerpt to see how you all feel about it. Additionally, I am aware
of an unfinished story that I plan to rewrite in the future. I truly appreciate when readers take the
time to review my work, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts!
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Naruto, and this is a Sasuhina story. If you do not like it, you may
want to stop reading.
Echoes Of The Past
Hinata was acutely aware of the dangers associated with returning to that training
ground, yet the allure of uncovering hidden truths from the past proved irresistible. With
determination in her heart, she took a deep breath and stepped forward, ready to confront
whatever awaited her. That training ground was steeped in memories, from the laughter they
shared to the conversations that lingered long into the night. Each corner seemed to whisper its
story, serving as a reminder of the love that had blossomed in that placeāthe very ground where
Hinata and Sasuke had exchanged their final goodbye.
It was a typical gloomy day. Hinata was heading to her favorite training spot to escape
the unpleasant argument she had just had with her father regarding the future of the Hyuga clan.
She had discovered this place during her childhood, during one of her attempts to run away from
home, particularly from her father. She had never shared this cherished location with anyone.
Imagine her surprise upon discovering a battered Sasuke. She rushed over to check his
breathing, and as she got closer, she noticed he was covered in blood, most of which was not his
own. He was barely conscious. The only thing Hinata could decipher from his grunts was a
name: "Itachi." As she began to wipe his face with her handkerchief, a sudden movement startled
her. Sasuke grabbed her wrist with such force that she let out a grunt.
"Who are you? Sasuke stammered. "I am H-Hinata H-Hyuga. I came here to train, and I
found you grunting in pain, Hinata replied, wincing as Sasuke maintained a tight grip on her
wrist. "My head hurts, Sasuke groaned. You are the girl who followed Naruto around when we
were in the academy.
Sasuke had begun to bleed from his nose. Hinata quickly offered him her handkerchief.
He released her wrist and took the handkerchief. "Do you know who I am?" Sasuke asked,
hoping to gauge whether he could leave without harming her. "At first, I didn't recognize you,
but when you mentioned your brother's name, I realized who you were," Hinata replied. "Oh, I
see. So, what are you planning to do? Turn me over to him?" Sasuke said with a sarcastic tone.
Hinata was caught off guard; he was right. Sasuke was a rogue ninja, and it was her duty to
capture him and turn him in.
