Outside the burn room, Kensi stood with her arms crossed, leaning casually against the wall. She had been waiting for something to happen, but now she needed proof.

Slowly, she leaned forward, peeking through the narrow window in the door. Her lips curled into a victorious grin the moment she spotted them.

Callen's hands were in Nell's hair, holding her close, their lips moving in a way that made it very clear this was not just some tentative first kiss. Oh no. This was years of pent-up emotion finally exploding.

Kensi did a little triumphant fist pump before quickly composing herself. She turned on her heel, sauntering down the hallway with the air of someone who had just won.

As she passed Deeks, who was loitering near the bullpen, she smirked.

"And that," she said smugly, "is how it's done."

Deeks arched a brow, glancing toward the burn room. "Oh, so now they're finally making out? Took 'em long enough."

Kensi shrugged, looking far too pleased with herself. "What can I say? Some people just need a little push."

Deeks snorted. "Little? Kensi, you locked them in a room together."

Kensi just grinned, nudging him playfully as they headed off toward the bullpen. "Yeah, well… sometimes fate needs a helping hand."
