Naruko served the food she and Sasuke had cooked up. As they ate, Izuku enjoyed her cooking as always. Naruko smiled; she loved seeing Izuku eat her food. It felt like taking care of a little brother.
Toshinori: Wow, this has to be the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever tasted.
Naruko: (smirking) Thanks. I'm skilled and awesome.
Rumi: Yeah, even I can't resist. She makes it really good.
Sasuke: Probably because you're terrible at cooking.
The rabbit hero glared at the Uchiha.
Rumi: What was that, you little shit?
She said it with a sweet but deadly smile. Uchiha wasn't scared by her; secretly, he thought Naruko was scarier when truly pissed off.
Rumi: Fuck you, duck-ass.
Sasuke: (continuing to eat) Sure.
Chibi Rumi glared at the asshole. Naruko chuckled as she ate the rice.
Naruko: Ignore her, she's a special case.
Rumi: Hey!
Toshinori: So we need to set up a plan for Izuku—
Naruko: Already covered.
Toshinori looked at her, dumbfounded. She chuckled a bit.
Naruko: Look, I've been friends with Izuku for a year, and I know how he thinks and how his body works. Besides, I have a way to teach him the ninja way.
Izuku stopped eating, thinking he heard some music, then shrugged it off.
Naruko: But we can mix it with your style as well. It's a good thing he's been training with me; he has hard abs now. With our combined training and using my healing jutsu for his sore muscles, we can shorten his rest periods without affecting his muscle growth.
Izuku: (putting down his chopsticks) That's true, but I've seen your healing technique, and knowing who trained you, holding back isn't an option for me or Mirko.
Rumi: (chibi) Always work through the pain.
They sweatdropped at her comment.
Izuku: Considering All Might's history and how strong and fast he is, I need to train to build muscle resistance and stamina.
Izuku began to mumble as Naruko sighed at him, looking back at Toshinori.
Naruko: Alright, we need to get this buff cinnamon roll ready to inherit All Might's power. It's not like if he didn't train, it would cause his body to explode, right?
She laughed, but the number one hero didn't join in.
Naruko: (nervously laughing) Right, All Might?
He scratched the back of his head.
Toshinori: Well...
Naruko: (deadpanned) Fucking Christ.
They all looked at him with shocked expressions.
Naruko: (sigh) You should have said that at the beginning, Small Might.
Two days later Early morning
Degobah Municipal Beach Park
Naruko and Sasuke arrived at Dagobah Beach with Mirko. They were greeted by the sight of the beach covered in trash. Naruko hated seeing people disrespect the ecosystem like this; it affected Mother Nature, something she could sense acutely since mastering her Fox Sage Mode. She heard a familiar grunting sound and knew it was Izuku's. They saw him pulling a rope tied to a discarded fridge, with All Might sitting on top of it.
Naruko: "Hey, look, there they are."
She pointed at them.
Rumi: "Huh, so that's the kind of training he's giving. It's alright."
Sasuke: "You just enjoy using training as an excuse to torture people."
Rumi: (smiling) "Pretty much."
Naruko: (deadpan) "Rumi..."
Toshinori: "Hey, hey, hey. It's pretty comfy up on this fridge. How are you doing down there?"
Izuku fell forward, exhausted.
Toshinori: "People move these every day, you know, and most of them don't have any super strength."
Naruko smiled as she walked up to them.
Naruko: "That's because they're power lifters or ask people with strength quirks for help."
She saw a broken washing machine, lifted it with one arm using her chakra-enhanced strength, and threw it away, yelling:
Naruko: "Kobe!"
Izuku: (getting back up and groaning) "Well, yeah, All Might, but... there's an extra 600 pounds with you sitting on top of it."
Sasuke: "Yeah, that also makes sense."
Toshinori: "Nah, I've lost weight. I'm down to 560 these days."
Naruko: (deadpan) "You're still heavier, Fat Might."
Rumi snorted, holding back her laughter, while Sasuke smiled and shook his head at Naruko's nicknames. As annoying as they were, they were sometimes funny. All Might sputtered at the nickname, and Izuku looked around and sighed.
Izuku: "Great, much better. Why do you have me dragging trash across the beach, anyway?"
Naruko: "Cinnamon roll, did you forget? You need to make your body strong enough to handle One For All so you don't explode into pieces."
Izuku, imagining his body exploding into pieces, started sweating like crazy.
Toshinori: "That is right, young Naruko. The combined physical abilities of everyone who's ever used it create a hurricane of pure force. An unprepared body can't fully inherit it. Your arms and legs would shoot off if you tried."
Izuku: "I see, so this trash thing is a hardcore gym workout. And you're my trainer."
Rumi: (pointing at herself) "Don't forget about me, Green Bean. You also have me as a trainer."
Izuku: (anime tears of fear) "That's great."
Rumi: (angry anime face) "Don't be scared because I'm your teacher."
Naruko: (shrugging) "I mean, if any kid did your training exercises, they'd cry in fear."
Toshinori: "But there's another reason for coming here. I did a little online research yesterday."
All Might walked toward the fridge as he continued talking.
Toshinori: "Turns out this part of the beach used to be beautiful, but it's been a total mess for the last few years."
He bumped the fridge with his fist.
Naruko: "Yeah, I'm a nature girl. I like nature and the animals as well."
Sasuke: "Anything that's dropped in the water ends up here. People take advantage of that when they're illegally dumping their trash."
Naruko: "Now, all the locals avoid this place."
Toshinori: "Heroes these days are all about showing off and capturing flashy villains."
Naruko: (pointing her thumb) "Like Rumi here."
Rumi: "What the hell did you say, you little shit?"
Toshinori: (puts hand on top of the fridge and starts to crush it slowly) "Things were different before Quirks. Service was what mattered."
Naruko and Sasuke were impressed by All Might crushing the fridge like a can of soda, and Izuku was awed.
Toshinori: "Back then, heroes were those who helped the community. Even if it was kinda boring."
He then completely crushed the fridge as a hurricane appeared, blowing much of the trash in front of them away, allowing the sun to shine through. Midoriya flinched a bit, while Naruko whistled and Sasuke nodded in admiration of All Might's strength. The hero lifted his head and looked up at Midoriya and said:
Toshinori: "You will restore the coastline for this entire section of the beach. That is the first step on your journey to becoming a hero!"
Sasuke leaned toward Naruko and whispered:
Sasuke: "A tad dramatic, don't you think?"
Naruko: (shrugging) "Eh."
Izuku looked shocked, then looked behind at the trash and said:
Izuku: "Um... all of this?! But... there's so much..."
The camera zoomed out to completely show the actual range of the trash.
Izuku: "That's impossible."
Naruko stepped in front of him.
Naruko: "Izuku, you want to go to U.A., right?"
Izuku: "Well, yeah, of course. It's where All Might went, so it has to be the best school around, right?"
He clenched his hand with a small smile as he continued:
Izuku: "It's a long shot, but I'm going to shoot for the moon."
Naruko looked at Izuku, seeing a reflection of herself—someone who never gave up on being a hero, someone with the guts to never give up. Like her, he had a dream he refused to let go of. She would help Izuku become a hero, but she also needed to teach him the true colors of the world because she couldn't let him think the world was just black and white.
Toshinori: "You've got a lot of spirit, fanboy!"
All Might patted his back as he got up.
Toshinori: "But! As I mentioned before, heroing is not easy to do without a quirk!"
All Might looked into the distance while Izuku looked up at him.
Toshinori: "It's not fair, but it's reality. U.A. is also the hardest school to get admitted to..."
Izuku ran a couple of steps forward and said:
Izuku: "That means I have to get prepared really fast. The U.A. entrance exam is in ten months."
Naruko: "Don't worry, we'll help. Besides, you already have a head start. With extra training, you can probably have this cleaned in five or six months."
Izuku smiled at her. He was glad he met Naruko; she gave him more confidence and determination. She was like the older sister he never had, even if she was... batshit crazy scary at times. Then he felt someone tugging the collar of his shirt, felt an aura, and started to sweat. He knew who it was. He saw Mirko holding his collar with a smile on her face that brought fear to him.
Rumi: "It's training time!"
With force, she threw Izuku up into the air as he screamed in fear, heading to the other side of the beach. Naruko and Sasuke sweatdropped.
Naruko: (sigh) "Teme, can you check on Cinnamon Roll? I need to talk with Kurama."
Sasuke nodded casually and headed in the direction of the screaming Izuku. Naruko closed her eyes and entered her mindscape.
Mindscape
Naruko was inside her mindscape, a sewer that reflected her terrible childhood, dark and depressive. But she began to walk toward the gate that had the seal on it—it was Kurama's seal, but there was something different here. Kurama could come out whenever he wanted, only in chibi form, and only Naruko could summon his full size using a summoning jutsu. But Kurama wasn't in the seal; there was something else.
Naruko's steps sent ripples through the water of the sewer as she smiled, but it wasn't a joyful smile; it was dark and sadistic.
Naruko: "How are you doing today... Minato?"
The ripple of the water reached inside the cage, reflecting the image of a figure. The camera moved up from the ripple, revealing Minato Namikaze with chains on both hands, legs, and around his neck. Minato raised his head, seeing his daughter smiling at him, enjoying his suffering.
