A/N: While Dax is my least favourtie on this team, I have to admit, I think this was his best episode, due to the lesson he learns about putting other peoples needs before his own. Also, this one is a vey long one as has a lot of action in it.

Intro:
A spinner spins around and then stops, showing the Overdrive symbol. The Rangers all receive their gene resequencing, and then Mack grabs his Console Driver, the others holding theirs, before Mack twirls his tracker around.
Go Rangers Go...
Mack dives down and fires his Drive Defender, before Will skids his Hovertek Cycle to a halt.
..Rangers, Go!
Dax jumps up while shooting his Drive Vortex at Lava Lizards.

Ronny slashes her right Drive Claw up diagonally.

Power Rangers, Operation Oh-verdrive!
In the Hartford Mansion, Mr. Hartford and the Rangers were all in the base, expect Dax. Ronny approached the main computer screen, which showed a new vehicle, which was four-wheeled, with claws in front, and laser cannons on either side of the cockpit at the back.
"Well, what do you think?" Mr. Hartford asked.
Ronny looked at the vehicle, as Rose, Will and Jazz all came over. (Jazz was on Will's left)
"That's the sweetest thing on wheels I've ever seen." Ronny said.
"And it can walk too?" Rose smiled.
"It sounds like a Transformer." Jazz grinned.
"What's it called again?" Will asked, as Mr. Hartford came over.
"The Transtek Armor." Mr. Hartford explained. "When we track down Kamdor and Miratrix, you're gonna need all the firepower you can get."
Mack came over and stood on Ronny's right.
"When can we try it out?" he asked eagerly, before turning to his father. "Wait a minute; who gets to use it?"
The others turned to Mr. Hartford, who folded his arms.
"This bad boy? Well, when it's finished, you'll all get a turn." he assured, making Mack smile.
"Well, that seems fair." Jazz reasoned.
"Speaking of you all, where's Dax?" Mr. Hartford inquired, noticing he was miss.
At that moment, Dax came swinging down one of the poles, before they all turned to him.
"Guys! Guys, you're not gonna believe this. I don't even believe it myself." he said, hyperactively. "It's...unbelievable."
"Whoa, slow down there, chief?" Will advised.
"What is it that's got you so hyper, Dax?" Jazz asked.
"Look what I found in Trade Magazine?" Dax said, taking it out of his pocket, before he began to read a page. "'New big budget movie Ninja Rumba, is holding open auditions for a handsome actor...'"
He turned the magazine over as Will lifted his head up and grinned, while Jazz tutted and folded her arms.
"Hello? '..., who can do his own stunts'." Dax finished, as Ronny and Mack came over. "I'm prefect."
"That's great, Dax, but we're kind of in the middle of something important here." Ronny reminded him. "Remember; saving the world? We need you."
"I know, but it's only a one day shoot." Dax explained, holding up his left forefinger. "Please?"
"Sorry, Dax. Ronny's right." Mr. Hartford said, putting his hands on his hips. "You're needed here. I'm going to have to say no."
Dax lowered his head.
Meanwhile, Moltor and three Lava Lizards were all walking through a forest together.
"I've summoned Scaletex to help us." Moltor explained.
They all stopped, before he looked up.
"Yes." he said, holding up his right hand. "Descend!"
A bolt of lighting shot down from the sky, hitting the ground in front of them, creating a puff of smoke. Moltor chuckled as it cleared, showing Scaletex in front of them, who resembled a humanoid armored Lindworm-like, with blue and red armor, making him look like the Dragonzord Fighting mode. He got up as lighting surged through his body, before he screeched and held his arms out.
"Welcome. Find Kamdor and Miratrix. Bring the parchment that rightfully belongs to me!" Moltor commanded.
"As you command." Scaletex said.
Meanwhile, Kamdor and Miratrix were in a sea cave, Miratrix looking at the parchment the Hou-Ou bird had dropped.
"Let's see what the Hou-Ou Bird gave us." Miratrix said.
"Be my guest." Kamdor said, folding his arms.
"Look here?" Miratrix said, before pointing at a symbol that resembled a circle, but with a triangle shaped mouth at the top. "This looks like an ancient symbol for heat. The jewel must be somewhere hot."
"Huh? That really narrows things down!" Kamdor scoffed.
Back in the Hartford Mansion, Dax was in the sitting room, reading the lines for the part of the film from a script book, as he walked past the pool and foosball tables.
"'I will not give up, never as long as the blood is still flowing through my veins!'" he read, before he stopped and pointed forward. "'I've come for the Turcoona Idol...'"
Rose came out from behind a pillar, grinning with her arms folded.
"...and I won't stop my quest, until I have it in my hands!'" Dax read, holding his right hand out. "Huh? Ah, I'm pretty good."
"What are you doing?" Rose inquired, making Dax jump and turn around.
"Nothing." he lied, blushing. "What does it look like I'm doing?"
"It looks like you're acting." Rose said, approaching him.
"I was. I was reading the lines for that audition that I'm gonna miss." Dax explained, pointing at the book.
"I know that. I meant; it looked like you were acting." Rose corrected, before she walked around him. "I read a book by Sturlansky; The Art of Acting."
Dax turned to her as she stopped by the the couch and turned to him.
"He claims, 'The objective of acting, is to not look like you're acting, while acting'." she quoted.
Dax looked confused. "Uh, good point." he said, approaching her. "Yeah, uh, but it doesn't matter anyway. Andrew said I couldn't do the job."
"Yes, but he didn't say you couldn't audition." Rose argued. "Well, technically, he didn't. Dax, I know this is a dream of yours. Do the audition. If they choose you, just say 'No'. You're busy doing something else. It's a win-win situation."
"Ya think?" Dax asked, turning to her. "I do the audition, I rock their world. They offer me the part, and I just say 'No'."
Rose nodded.
Later, Kamdor and Miratrix began to walk out of the sea cave and along the bird, as seagulls chirped.
"Looks like the cost is clear." Miratrix said.
They both looked around as Scaletex showed up.
"Think again, Trixie?" he said.
Kamdor took out one of his swords, as the duo turned to him, seeing a swarm of Lava Lizards behind him.
"Attack!" Scaletex yelled.
The Lava Lizards all charged at the duo, as Miratrix took out her swords, before she and Kamdor charged forward.
"Yah!" they yelled.
Miratrix jumped forward and landed near some, then spun around and slashed ones sword with her right, knocking it away, then she blocked another's with it, before kicking its chest, knocking it down. She kicked a third's as it came at her, flipping it onto its back, then she slashed a fourth across the chest as it ran past her, knocking it down.
Kamdor blocked ones sword with his own, then jumped and spun around, kicking another's sword, knocking it down, then he blocked a third's with his, while not looking at it. He lifted his sword up, knocking it back, then he spun around and slashed it slightly, making it lean forward, then he rolled along its back to avoid a fourth's sword, then he bent down and slashed the third's leg, tripping it up.
"Get the parchment!" Scaletex commanded.
Meanwhile, Dax was now at the audition, which was in a forest, standing with other men, one with black hair getting makeup on his face by a woman. He waited anxiously as the Director came over to a woman, while the rest of the crew set up the equipment or walked past Dax and the others, one with a camera over his shoulder.
"Okay, how we doing?" the Director asked.
An African-American man walked past Dax and took a photo of the man getting the makeup.
"This is it. I'm next." Dax breathed, as behind him, a stuntman twirled a prop sword around.
The Director held up a megaphone and a copy of the script.
"That's it. You're perfect. You got the part." he said into it, pointing at the man with makeup.
"Yeah!" the man said, punching his fist down.
"Send the rest home." the Director said, unfairly.
Dax frowned as the other men looked disappointed, before he ran towards the Director.
"Uh, wait? Wait?" he asked.
The Director turned around to him.
"Uh, you didn't even watch my audition." Dax said. "I'm perfect."
"Listen, I need a hero. He looks like a hero." the Director said, turning to the man, who grinned as the woman worked on his hair. "You don't."
He hit Dax's chest slightly with the script.
"Better luck next time." the Director said, winking.
He turned and walked off.
"But...?" Dax began.
He sighed as the Director walked over to his chair, as a woman looked up at him from another. He turned and began to walk away, before he stopped and saw a stage light beginning to fall down towards the Director. The Director looked up as it got closer to him, making him gasp, before Dax began to run towards him.
"Ah!" the Director gasped, bracing himself with his arms up.
"Watch out!" a woman screamed.
Dax grabbed the Director and pulled him down, before the stage light hit and knocked the Director's chair over, smashing the blub area.
"Ah!" several people gasped.
The Director gasped as he hit the ground, with Dax on top of him.
"Sorry." Dax said, getting up.
He got up and began to move away, when the Director grabbed his arm, making him stop and turn to him.
"Are you alright?" a woman asked.
The Director pulled himself up as everyone else looked at the pair.
"That was amazing." he said. "You saved me. You really are a hero. What's your name?"
"Dax, Dax Lo." Dax answered.
"You got the part, Dax Lo." the Director said, nodding.
Dax looked shocked, when the photographer from earlier snapped pictures of him from behind.
"This is your big break. We shoot your scene in an hour." the Director explained.
Dax smiled happily as they linked their hands, unable to speak.
"Can you do it?" the Director asked.
Dax's smile faded slightly, as he began to think about his talk with Rose earlier.
(Flashback)
"They offer me the part, and I just say 'No'." he told Rose.
(Flashback ends)
"Yes." Dax said.
He and the Director both laughed and hugged each other, then they pulled apart as the Director walked off, before Dax realized what he'd done.
Back at the beach, Scaletex laughed as the Lava Lizards kept fighting Kamdor and Miratrix, Kamdor blocking ones sword with his own, as Miratrix ducked and ran past another.
Kamdor spun around and dodged as one tried to stab him, then grabbed its arm as he kept spinning around, slashing another's sword as he did, knocking it away slightly.
Miratrix grunted as she spun around, slashing ones arm as it ran past her, then slashed another's chest with her right sword, before turning to Scaletex.
Scaletex lowered his hands from his mouth, firing a blast, which hit the ground behind Kamdor and Miratrix, creating an explosion, which knocked them both up.
"AHH!" they moaned, flipping forward.
They hit the ground on their backs as Scaletex laughed, as Lava Lizards surrounded them both.
"Moltor will be pleased." Scaletex grinned.
Meanwhile, in the Hartford Mansion, Will, Mack and Ronny all came sliding down the poles, while Mr. Hartford stood by the main computer.
"We heard the sensors." Ronny explained.
They all ran towards Mr. Hartford, as Jazz and Rose slid down two of the poles and ran over.
Miratrix and Kamdor both slashed their swords at Lava Lizards, before Miratrix ducked and ran past one.
Rose and Jazz joined the others on Ronny's right.
"It's a battle for the parchment. We need to..." Mr. Hartford began, before noticing Dax was missing. "Wait, where's Dax?"
Rose flinched slightly, before turning to the others.
"He's, uh, taking a walk." she said, as the others turned to her. "He needed some alone time. Actors."
"Fine. But grab him on your way out." Mr. Hartford ordered, pointing behind him. "Go!"
All but Rose turned and ran off, who turned slightly, wondering what Dax had done.
"Go." Mr. Hartford said.
Rose turned and ran off after the others, knowing she had to call Dax.
Once he was alone, Mr. Hartford took out his phone, for he had an idea where Dax really was.
"Taking a walk, huh?" he muttered disbelievingly, dialing a number.
He put the phone to his ear.
Back at the filming site, Dax was in a trailer, which had a gold star on the door, and the word 'Dax' in the middle. He opened the door, showing he was wearing his costume, which consisted off an orange shirt, with a torn army colored vest on top, brown pants, and a belt and shoulder strap. He also wore a brown wig that went just past his neck, with a yellow headband, and wore a fingerless glove on his left hand.
He walked over to the Director, who lowered a mini-telescope from his eye, before turning to him.
"Okay, Dax. Now, when I call 'Action', I want you to come running in here, and look into the idol." the Director explained, as they walked off together, passing members of the crew, before he waved his hands downwards. "Then, Ninjas drop the sky. You fight the Ninjas, then you grab the idol."
Dax nodded as he walked on ahead.
"Then, I want you to turn to the camera..." the Director continued, turning around.
He pointed at it as he turned back to Dax, who turned around to him, standing near a set of temple steps, which was part of the set.
"...and you say your line." the Director instructed.
"I don't have to cover my face, right?" Dax asked hopefully.
"Well, I preferred if you didn't." the Director said, as a man walked past him with a prop plant. "You do know your line, right?"
"I've been rehearsing for this moment all my life." Dax said honestly.
The Director winked and patted his shoulder.
"Great. Alright, we're shooting." he said, as he turned around and clapped his hands.
Dax smiled when his tracker beeped, making him take it out of his pocket and hold it up. He adjusted the shoulder strap as he turned and ran to the side of the step prop.
"Come on? We're losing light, people." the Director said.
Dax turned around and held his tracker up.
"Yeah?" he said.
"Dax, get to the beach. Hurry." Rose said. "I'll send you the coordinates."
Dax put his tracker away and adjusted his costume, before he stepped away from the steps.
"Uh, I'll be right back everyone." he promised. "I've just gotta...call my agent."
He turned and ran off, leaving everyone puzzled and confused.
Later, the other Rangers had all arrived on a cliff at the beach, Ronny and Will taking their helmets off, as the others got out of the truck. They both got off their bikes, before all five Rangers ran to the edge and looked down at the fight.
"Yes." Scaletex said, watching the Lava Lizards battle Kamdor and Miratrix.
The Rangers all turned right as Dax showed up on his quad, which he got off, still in costume.
"Dax?" Rose said, as he ran towards them.
"You went to the audition?" Mack exclaimed. "My dad told you not too?"
"Well, technically he didn't say I could go to the audition. He just said I couldn't take the part." Dax argued fairly.
"And?" Ronny asked.
"I got the part." Dax replied.
The girls opened their mouths and giggled slightly.
"I tried to say 'No', but yes came out instead." Dax explained.
"Oh, you are gonna be in so much trouble when he finds out, Fall Guy." Jazz teased.
Scaletex put his hands over his mouth, then lowered them, shooting a blast from it, which hit the edge of the cliff, making sparks come up.
"AH!" the Rangers groaned.
They all turned, Mack and Will banging against the edge of the truck, while the girls and Dax all ducked down, before they turned back.
"Don't try to crash this party." Scaletex smirked, as three Lava Lizards gathered around him.
The girls and Dax got up, Dax and Rose glaring at Scaletex.
"Time to Ranger up." Ronny said, before she took out her tracker and held it up. "Ready?"
"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.
They all opened up their trackers and pressed the top button on it.
"Overdrive Accelerate!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into six, Will in the top left, Mack in the top middle, Rose in the top right, Ronny in the bottom left, Jazz in the bottom middle, Dax in the bottom right. They all ran the wheel of their trackers down their arms, before they held them to their right, before the wheels stopped. They turned them and fired a beam at them, bringing up the projection of their suits and weapons, before they spun around and morphed up, with their chest symbol popping up on them. Their shoulder armor appeared on them, before their helmets did, then they did their fight poses.
(End morph sequence)
Mack somersaulted over a Lava Lizard, who ran forwards and tried to slash him, before he landed on his feet and turned around. He jumped and spun around, kicking another's sword slightly, then he hit a third's with his fists, before kicking the second's again. He rolled forward as the third tried to slash him, then he spun around and tackled a fourth.
Dax dived down and grabbed one, pulling it down as he rolled over twice, before he threw it away, then he got up. He ducked and spun around, tackling another, which flipped forwards onto its back, then he got up and dodged as a third ran past him and tried to whack him. It turned to him, before he knocked its right arm with his forearm, then tried to kick it, but it grabbed his foot, then he back flipped, freeing his foot, then he kicked its arm, knocking it down.
Will grabbed ones back as it bent forward, before he flipped sideways over it, then landed on his feet and grabbed another's forearm as it tried to stab him. He kicked a third's sword, flipping it onto its back, then he pulled the second forward, before he jumped and spun around, kicking its chest, knocking it back.
Ronny whacked ones sword with her forearm as it ran past her, then whacked another's with her right fist, before she turned and kicked the first's side, knocking it slightly. She turned to a third and grabbed its sword, pulling its arm down slightly, before it spun around, making her kick her legs out, kicking a fourth's sword, knocking it down, before she put her feet on the ground, then pulled the third onto its back.
Jazz spun around and kicked ones sword as it tried to slash her, knocking it away, then she kicked another's chest as it came at her, knocking it back. She did a backwards handspring as a third came at her and tried to slash her legs, before she spun around and tackled it, tripping it onto its back. She got up and blocked the second's sword with her right forearm, before she raised it up, then elbowed it in the chest, then spun around and kicked it, sending it flying away, before it hit the ground on its back.
Rose kicked ones sword as it came at her, knocking it away, then ducked as another ran past and tried to slash her from behind. She blocked its sword with her right forearm, then punched it up, then did a forward handspring as they both tried to slash her, one running past her, the other backing away. She got to her feet, then kicked the first's chest, then pulled her leg back to kick a third, then she jumped and spun around, kicking the third's sword, knocking it down.
Kamdor slashed one down the chest with his right sword, before Miratrix came up beside him, both watching the fights.
Dax punched one in the face, then grabbed its forearm as it tried to slash him, pulling it onto its chest, while Will grabbed another's arm and punched it. Ronny kicked ones back, then ducked as it tried to slash her, before she punched its forearm, while Mack punched one, knocking it back, then turned and jumped as another tried to slash his legs, then ducked as it tried again, while punching its arm. Jazz dodged as one tried to stab her, before she blocked a slash from it with her forearms, then grabbed its left one and spun around with it, while Rose kicked ones chest, then spun around and kicked it again, knocking it down, then she turned and ran past another as it tried to slash her.
"I never thought I'd be glad to see the Power Rangers." Miratrix admitted.
"This is our chance." Kamdor realized. "Hurry."
They both turned and ran towards the cave.
Ronny spun around and kicked a Lava Lizard's arm, knocking it away, before she spotted the duo.
"They're heading to the cave!" she said, pointing at them.
"They have the parchment!" Dax gasped.
"Get it, Dax!" Mack grunted, holding a Lava Lizard's arm.
"Right." Dax understood.
He began to run forward, when Scaletex got in front of him.
"Not so fast." Scaletex smirked.
He tried to punch Dax, who ducked to avoid it, then Dax hit his hand hand with his forearm, then kicked him slightly, before he punched Dax's chest, then tripped him up.
"AH!" Dax moaned, hitting the ground on his side.
Scaletex grabbed and pulled him up, but then turned as Mack dived down towards them.
"Hyah!" he yelled, kicking his leg out.
He kicked Scaletex's shoulder, freeing Dax as it knocked him away, who hit the ground on his back.
"AH!" he moaned.
Mack landed on his feet as Dax got behind him.
"Thanks, Mack." Dax said, as Mack turned and held his fist up.
"I'll cover you." Mack said.
Dax turned and ran off, as Scaletex got up.
"Cower at this?" he dared, as lighting surged through his body.
Mack's headlights flashed, before he brought out his lance.
"Drive Lance!" he shouted, holding it over himself.
He spun it around as Scaletex came at him, who then ducked as Mack tried to slash him, then dodged to avoid another, then he dodged past Mack, who spun around while twirling his lance around. Mack put the lance down, the pole end against the ground, before Scaletex kicked it, making him spin around and move backwards. He spun his lance around and tried to
"Drive Slammer!" Will shouted, whacking a Lava Lizard up the chest with it.
He turned around and blocked another's sword with it, before whacking it across the chest.
Ronny dived down towards one with her claws.
"Drive Claws!" he shouted.
She whacked it with her right claw, then spun around and whacked it across the chest with it.
Rose fired her geyser at one, hitting its chest, knocking it down, before she turned around.
"Drive Geyser!" she shouted, moving away.
She turned and fired it again, hitting another, knocking it down.
Jazz blocked ones sword with her axe, then slashed it down the chest with it.
"Drive Axe!" she shouted.
She spun around and slashed another across the chest with it as it came at her.
"Yah!" Mack yelled, diving towards Scaletex, slashing his lance out.
Scaletex dived towards him, before they both passed each other as an explosion went off nearby. Mack landed crouched down, then got up and turned around, as the other Rangers gathered around him. (Jazz was between Mack and Will)
"You're no match for us." Mack said, pointing his lance at Scaletex, who got up and turned around.
"I beg to differ!" Scaletex yelled, spreading his arms out, shooting lighting from his chest.
It hit the ground behind the Rangers, creating an explosion.
"AHH!" they moaned, before another went off in front of them.
(The cave)
Miratrix and Kamdor ran through the cave, when Dax came up behind them.
"Stop!" he demanded, stopping.
The duo stopped and turned around to him, before Kamdor took out his right sword.
"Let's shake things up." he said.
He held his sword up, then hit the floor with it, making dust come up from it, before the cave began to cave-in.
"AH!" Dax yelped, raising his forearms over his head.
"Goodbye, Blue Ranger." Miratrix smirked, as rocks fell from the ceiling. "I'm outta here!"
She and Kamdor both turned and ran off, as Dax gasped, with small rocks falling onto his shoulders.
(Outside)
Scaletex knocked Mack back by knocking his lance up, then he punched it, knocking Mack back more, before he turned to the cave.
"The parchment!" he gasped.
He ran towards the cave and entered it, just as more rocks fell from the ceiling.
"AH!" he screamed, as the entrance caved-in on him. "AHH!"
The rocks ended up burying him alive as the entrance sealed itself, before the shaking stopped.
"Ah! Ah!" Dax groaned, before he stood up. "Huh? It stopped?"
He looked around, before he looked up and saw a hole in the ceiling, shining light down on him.
"Hey, nice." he said.
He held up his right forearm as his leadlight flashed, bringing his vortex into it.
"Gotta love being blue." he said, before he aimed it down and activated it. "Drive Vortex!"
The gust of wind coming from it lifted him up and out though the hole.
"Going up!" he said.
Later, the other Rangers had returned to the Hartford Mansion, coming out of the elevator and into the base.
"We almost had 'em, but those slippery slugs slipped away." Ronny said annoyed.
Mr. Hartford turned to them all, standing near the main computer.
"Where's Dax?" he asked.
The Rangers all stared at him, Will with his arms folded, and Rose looking worried. (Jazz was on Ronny's right)
"Uh, he's uh...at the..." Mack began. "He's doing that..."
"At the audition." Mr. Hartford finished. "I explicitly told him not to go."
"How did you know?" Rose asked, speechless.
"I own the studio that's making that film." Mr. Hartford explained.
Will grinned as Rose gasped slightly, rolling her eyes, while Mack and Ronny grimaced.
"Maybe you should've told him that." Jazz muttered.
"Dax chose to disobey me, and doing so, disrespected you all." Mr. Hartford said, disappointed.
"Now, wait a minute, Mr. Hartford?" Rose asked. "It was Dax's dream to be an actor. He just wanted to audition to see if he was good enough. With a little encouragement from..."
Mr. Hartford gave her a look that showed he knew she was lying.
"Well, a lot of encouragement from me." Rose corrected. "I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted." Mr. Hartford said. "Let's hope Dax realizes what is really important, without any encouragement."
Rose nodded hopefully.
Meanwhile, Dax was back on the set of the film, standing in the scene, while the crew were all in their positions, either behind the cameras or holding up the sound speakers, or sitting in their chairs like the Director.
"And...action!" he said into the megaphone.
Dax reached behind him and tightened his headband, before he turned around and saw the idol on top of the steps. He began to approach it, when a noise made him turn around, seeing the Ninja stuntmen all somersaulting towards him, before they landed in front of him. They all pulled out their swords, which they spun around, then held over their heads.
"Ha!" they yelled.
Dax stretched his arms out, cracking his knuckles, before he held his left arm out, and his right fist by his chin.
"AH!" the Ninjas yelled, charging forward.
Dax dodged as one tried slash him, before Dax whacked him in the face with his forearm, then Dax turned and knocked another's fist as he tried to punch Dax, knocking him away. Dax tried to whack a third with his forearm, but missed as he ducked, then a fourth came up behind Dax, who turned and ducked as the Ninja tried to slash him, before he ran off. Dax turned and leaned down against a knocked over pillar, before he spun around and bent his back down against it, avoiding a fifth's sword, before he rolled along the pillar as the fifth tried again. Dax kicked him in the side, knocking him away, then got up and flipped forward, as two bent down and tried to slash his legs.
"Ha!" he yelled.
He hit the ground and rolled forward, before he got up and hit ones sword with his forearm, knocking him back, then Dax turned and blocked a kick from another with his forearms. Dax turned right as as third punched him in the side slightly, then Dax jumped up as several tried to hit him with their swords, which hit the ground. Dax twirled around before he landed away from them on his feet, then ducked as one tried to slash him, then he grabbed the Ninja's arm and punched it, then he tackled him.
"Ah!" the Ninja moaned, flipping onto his back.
Dax hit one with his hands as he ran past him, then Dax jumped slightly and scissor kicked two, knocking them down, then he ducked and ran past a third, who tried to slash him. Dax ran up the steps, before he turned around and kicked a fourth away, as a fifth got on top of the steps. Dax turned and jumped away, trying to kick a sixth, but missed as the Ninja moved away, then he ducked as a seventh tried to slash him, before he elbowed its back, flipping him off the set and onto the ground. Dax turned and put his left foot on the steps, before he jumped up high to avoid the fifth's sword, as well as an eighth's, who tried to slash his legs.
"Ah!" he grunted, landing near the top of the steps.
Dax grabbed the fifth's arm as it tried to slash him, before he lifted the arm up, then kicked the Ninja's chest.
"AHH!" the Ninja yelled, as he went flying away.
He flipped forwards before he hit the pillar prop hard.
"Ah!" he moaned, rolling off it.
Dax climbed up the steps and turned, as one came up on his right, who slashed his sword between Dax and the idol, then tried to slash Dax himself.
"Yah!" Dax yelled, as he back flipped away.
He landed halfway down the steps, then he back flipped again, diving away from the steps, before he landed crouched down, surrounded by Ninjas. Dax got up and hit ones forearm with his hands, knocking him aside, then Dax ducked and spun around, tackling another, who twirled around before hitting the ground. Dax got up and hit a third's forearm with his wrist, then he spun around and moved towards a prop set, as a few came at him. Dax dodged as one tried to slash him, then he grabbed the Ninja's arm and threw him away.
"AH!" the Ninja yelled, flipping sideways through the air.
He hit a pillar and rolled off it onto the ground.
Dax kicked one in the chest, knocking him towards the steps, then Dax turned and ducked as another tried to slash him, then he turned to a pillar standing up, as a third tried to slash him from behind. Dax began to climb up the pillar quickly, before he kicked his feet against it and dived down, as two jumped after him, landing on a lower standing part. Dax landed crouched down, then got up and grabbed the two on the pillar, before he threw them over him, who both flipped backwards through the air.
"AH!" they moaned, hitting the ground on their backs.
Dax turned around and dodged as one tried to slash him, then he wrapped his arms around the Ninja, before they both grunted as Dax kept hold of him. Dax's tracker suddenly beeped, annoying him, before he turned slightly, keeping his left arm around the Ninja, then he took it out of his pocket, opened it slightly and closed it, turning it off, not been spotted on camera. Dax turned to the Ninja and threw him away, then he charged at some more.
The Director smiled as he watched from his main camera, then he drank from a coffee cup, before doing a small punch with his left arm.
Nearby, Kamdor and Miratrix were running through the woods, before they stopped and turned to each other near the set.
"It's only a matter of time before they find us." Miratrix realized. "That last battle was too close."
"Yes. I can create fierce creatures but Flurious and Moltor each have an army of foot soldiers." Kamdor said, walking past her. "That gives them an advantage."
"Who on this pitiful planet would want to fight for us?" Miratrix inquired.
They both turned as they heard fighting, seeing Dax fighting the remaining Ninja stuntmen, as two men walked past each other.
Dax rolled forward to avoid several swords, then he got up and ducked as two came at him, one trying to slash him, making him miss.
"Ha!" another yelled, slashing his sword.
"Them." Kamdor said.
Dax moved towards the steps, holding his fists up, before he looked around, seeing all the Ninjas lying down, moaning.
"Oh!" a few groaned.
Dax panted as he turned around to the steps, looking up at the idol.
"I will not give up, never." he said.
He began to slowly climb the steps as the Director watched from his camera.
"Never as long as the blood is still flowing through my veins." Dax said.
He kept climbing the steps.
"I've come for the Turcoona Idol, and I won't stop my quest, until I have it in my hands." he said.
Once at the top, he began to reach for the idol, when he heard Ronny's voice in his head.
"Remember; saving the world? We need you."
Dax lowered his hands slightly, as the Director got up from his chair, all the crew looking at him.
"Come on? Grab the idol!" the Director yelled.
Dax twitched slightly, hesitating, before he turned around, as Ronny's words had gotten to him.
"I'm sorry. I can't do this." he said.
He turned and jumped down from the set, as the Director and several others stepped forward.
"What are you; crazy?" he scowled, as Dax ran off. "You ruined the shot?!"
"I've never seen that..." a woman began.
The Director turned around.
"That's sick." a man said.
"Unbelievable." another woman said.
"How am I gonna explain this to the studio?" the Director wondered.
Kamdor and Miratrix came out from behind the prop.
"You'll never work in this town again." Kamdor said.
"AH!" the Director screamed, falling onto his back.
"Come on, let's get outta here!" a woman cried.
The crew all turned and ran off screaming, some picking up some equipment like a overhead microphone.
"Run for your lives!" a man said.
The Director got up and ran off, turning back slightly as he did so.
The Ninjas all turned and ran off, when Kamdor held his right hand by his chest, then held it out, casting a spell, which hit them all. They all stopped and turned around to them in a trance.
"Perfect. Now they'll fight for us." Kamdor said, as he and Miratrix approached them. "And..."
He stopped and turned, before he held his right hand like a Ninja, then held it out, pointing at a camera. Papers suddenly came out of it, creating a clay camera monster from it called Lensscope, with his lens being his left arm, shaped like a cannon, a crystal on its chest, only one eye, and a wavey pattern on his chest like a crescent moon, making him resemble the Minizord. Paers then came from a sound speaker, creating fireplace bellow/speaker-themed monster called Soundamp, which had speakers running down its chest diagonally, white bellows along its right arm and legs, and his mouth resembled a crab, making him resemble the Q-Rex Megazord.
"AH!" he roared.
"Some added power." Kamdor said.
Miratrix grinned and turned to him.
Later, in the Hartford Mansion, Mr. Hartford and the other Rangers all stood by the main computer, seeing Kamdor, Miratrix, Lensscope, Soundamp and the Ninjas walking through the city. (Jazz was on Mack's left)
"Looks like Kamdor and Miratrix found some help." Mr. Hartford sighed, before turning to the Rangers. "Think you guys can handle it? You're only five."
Dax - back in his uniform - suddenly came sliding down one of the poles behind them.
"Six." he corrected, pointing at them.
They all turned to him.
"Dax?" Rose said, surprised.
The other Rangers laughed as they all approached him. (Jazz was on Mack's right)
"About time." Will said.
"Well, I'll be..." Jazz said.
"You're back." Ronny said, as Mack and Rose patted Dax's arms.
"So, how was your first staring role?" Mr. Hartford asked, approaching him.
"It was great." Dax admitted. "But right in the middle of it, I realized that the acting thing was something I wanted just for me. This Power Ranger thing, is something I do for a lot more people. My movie career can wait. Sorry, guys. Sorry, Mr. Hartford."
"Apology accepted." Mr. Hartford said. "The consequence is to come later."
"Ooh." the other Rangers teased.
"Right now, you have a job to do." Mr. Hartford said. "Go!"
The Rangers all turned and ran towards the door.
In the city, Kamdor, Miratrix, Lensscope, Soundamp and the Ninjas all walked together, before they stopped.
"This army will do nicely, don't you think?" Miratrix said.
"Yeah." Kamdor agreed.
Lighting suddenly hit the ground behind them, creating an explosion, making them all duck and shield their faces with their forearms.
"AH!" Kamdor and Miratrix groaned.
They both looked up and saw Moltor and a swarm of Lava Lizards approaching them, Moltor laughing and twirling his left sword around.
"Payback time." he said.
Both fractions stared at each other.
"You buried Scaletex in that sea cave, and for that, you will pay!" Moltor declared.
His Lava Lizards began to charge at Kamdor's army.
"Attack!" Kamdor ordered, holding his left hand like a Ninja, then pointed it forward.
Lensscope and Soundamp charged forward, followed by the stuntmen, who held up their swords.
Lensscope whacked a Lava Lizard down the chest with his cannon arm, then turned and ducked as another ran past and tried to slash him, before he whacked it down the chest with his cannon arm.
Soundamp roared he put his left hand over his big speaker on his right shoulder, shooting a blast from it, which hit the ground behind two more, creating an explosion which knocked them up. They both screamed as one flipped forward, while the other kicked its legs out and leaned back, before they hit the ground.
Miratrix spun around and slashed one with her left sword, while kicking another's slightly, before slashing it with her left sword.
One tried to slash a Ninja, who side flipped past it, then another did a sideways handspring away from it, before it slashed a third's sword, then ducked as the first jumped and spun around to kick it, making him miss.
Kamdor and Moltor both jumped away from an explosion, holding their swords out.
"HA!" they yelled.
They both landed on top of a construction board on top of support beams, then got up, then Kamdor ducked as Moltor tried to slash him, while Moltor jumped as Kamdor tried to slash him, making them both miss. Moltor then slashed Kamdor's right sword hard, sending him flying away, who landed on another support beam, as Moltor jumped up, then they dived down and landed on the ground on their feet. They both turned to each other, then Kamdor charged forward and blocked Moltor's right sword with his own right sword, then blocked Moltor's left with it. Kamdor then spun around and tried to slash Moltor, but missed as he ducked, then they both jumped and spun around, kicking each other's foot, before they landed on the ground. Moltor spun around, then crossed his swords over, before he charged forward, then locked his swords together with Kamdor's, before they both went flying away.
"AH!" they yelled.
They both hit a bunch of barrels together, making sparks come out of them, before they both fell down.
The SHARC flew over the scene, before the Rangers all jumped down from it, holding each other's hands in a circle.
"Hyah!" they yelled.
They all landed on the ground and stared at the battle.
"Talk about a Battle Royal." Will said.
"You can say that again?" Jazz said sarcastically.
"Whoa!" Mack gasped.
"Uh!" Rose gasped.
"Oh!" Ronny gasped.
"They're controlling the stuntmen!" Dax exclaimed.
Kamdor and Moltor - both standing up - turned to face the Rangers, as their respective armies kept fighting each other.
"Perfect. I'll crush all my adversaries in one blow." Moltor declared, crossing his swords over, before waving them around.
He pointed his left at the Rangers, shooting lighting from it, which hit and created an explosion right behind them.
"AHH!" they screamed.
Mack and Will both flipped forwards onto their backs, while Rose turned onto her side, Dax and Jazz diving onto their chests, and Ronny dived down and hit the ground on her back.
"Attack the Power Rangers!" Moltor commanded.
Two Lava Lizards turned away from Lensscope and Soundamp, before they charged at the Rangers, followed by two near Miratrix. A Ninja back flipped away from a third, as another tried to slash a fourth, but missed, before both Lava Lizards and another all charged at the Rangers.
Kamdor twirled his right sword around, holding it backwards as Miratrix, Soundamp, Lensscope and the Ninjas all gathered around behind him.
"This is perfect." Kamdor said. "We'll defeat the Power Rangers as well."
Miratrix grinned and nodded.
"Attack!" Kamdor commanded, pointing at the Rangers.
The Ninjas all charged forward to join the battle, both fractions forming a truce until the Rangers were destroyed.
A Ninja side flipped to his left in front of Mack, who turned around and blocked another's sword with his own, knocking him back, then Mack ducked to avoid a third's sword. Mack then blocked a fourth's with it, then hit the sword with the end of his, knocking the Ninja away slightly, then he turned and ducked as the first ran past and tried to slash him. Mack spun around and slashed a fifth's sword with his own, before slashing it again, then he held his sword up while staring at Kamdor.
"Come on?" Mack dared.
Kamdor aimed his right sword at him, shooting lighting from it.
"Fire!" he shouted.
The lighting hit the ground behind Mack, who waved his sword around as sparks came up behind him.
"AH!" he grunted.
He jumped and flipped backwards and landed on a shipyard crate, where three Ninjas were, then he blocked ones sword with his own, before turning to the others. He blocked the first's and second's swords with his own, then he somersaulted forward off the crate, then tried to slash Kamdor as he landed, but Kamdor blocked it with both his swords, crossing them over. Mack pulled away and spun around to slash Kamdor's legs, but missed as Kamdor jumped up slightly.
Rose blocked Miratrix's right sword with her own, who then spun around and kicked her forearm.
"Ah!" Rose groaned, as she fell against the side of a car.
She got up and blocked a Ninja's sword with her own, then turned and blocked another's with it, before she kicked the first's forearm, flipping him onto his back. She spun around and moved away as a third ran past her, before she kicked a fourth's forearm, flipping him onto his back.
"Ah!" Miratrix yelled.
She tried to kick Rose, who blocked it with her sword, then blocked Miratrix's right sword with it, then bent down and tried to slash Miratrix's legs, but missed as Miratrix back flipped away. Miratrix landed on her feet, then side flipped over the car's hood as Rose tried to slash her, landing in front of it, as a few Ninjas stood behind her. She looked at Rose, who rolled onto the car's hood, then got into a crouch position, while blocking a kick from Miratrix with her sword. Rose got up and tried to slash Miratrix, who blocked it slightly with her right sword, then she slashed Rose's legs with her sword, making her twirl around.
"AH!" she screamed, hitting her back against the hood, before she rolled off the car.
Jazz spun around and ducked as a Ninja ran past and tried to slash her, before she turned and fired her blaster, hitting a Lava Lizard's chest, knocking it down. She turned and blocked a Ninja's sword with it as he came at her, then she stumbled back as their weapons got locked together.
"AH!" she gritted.
She shoved him back and kicked his left arm, knocking him aside, then she jumped and somersaulted forward as another two tried to slash her legs.
"HYAH!" she yelled.
She dived down and landed on her feet, then got up and turned around, kicking a fourth's sword as it tried to slash her, then she kicked a Lava Lizard's chest, knocking it down. She turned and fired her blaster, hitting another's chest, knocking it against some barrels, before two Ninjas came up behind her, raising their swords. She turned and ducked as they tried to slash her at the same time, before she rolled away, then she got up and kicked a third's chest, knocking him back. She turned as a fourth came at her, then jumped as he tried to slash her legs, before another two jumped and kicked her in the chest, sending her flying away.
"AHH!" she moaned, hitting a car's roof.
She rolled off it and onto the hood, then onto the ground on her chest.
Ronny was knocked against a support beam, then kicked a Ninja's sword, knocking it aside, then she spun around to the edge of the beam as another came over and tried to slash her. She turned and slashed a third's with her sword, knocking him slightly, then she slashed a Lava Lizard across the chest, knocking it down. A fourth Ninja somersaulted towards her, landing past her as she tried to slash him, before she turned to a fifth and slashed its sword as she spun around, kicking a Lava Lizard's sword as she did. She blocked both of Moltor's swords with her own, who then kicked her left forearm, making her spin around and lean against the beam. She jumped and kicked her left leg out, hitting two Ninjas swords, then put her feet down as a Lava Lizard spun around and leaned against the beam behind her. She ducked as another ran past and tried to slash her, before she climbed over the beam and kicked a third, knocking it down, before she put her feet down. She blocked Moltor's left sword with her own, then blocked them both with her forearms, getting locked in a grapple, before he threw her away.
"Whoa!" she yelled, twirling around.
She hit some barrels and pillars near a car, making sparks come out from them.
Dax ran past and tried to slash Lensscope, but missed, then he jumped and spun around to slash Soundamp, but missed as he ducked. He blocked a punch from Soundamp with the butt of his sword, before he hit Soundamp's chest slightly with it, then blocked a kick from Lensscope with it. He blocked a kick from Soundamp with his sword, then hit his hand slightly with it, then he blocked Lensscope's cannon arm with it, then blocked his normal arm with it, getting them locked together.
"Huh?" Dax gasped, turning around.
Soundamp kicked him in the side, knocking him away, before he hit some barrels and beams.
"Ah!" he groaned, rolling over.
He got up and turned in a crouched position, before both monsters charged at him.
"AHH!" they yelled.
Dax turned and ran off slightly, before he kicked his feet against a car and flipped backwards 306 degrees past them both, before he landed on his feet. He slashed Soundamp's right hand with his sword, knocking him slightly, then slashed Lensscope's normal one with it, then flipped forward past them both as Soundamp tried to tackle him. He landed on his feet, then turned and tried to slash Lensscope, but missed as Lensscope tried to punch him, then he slashed Soundamp's right hand slightly, before they both kicked him away.
"AHHH!" Dax yelled, before he hit the ground and rolled over.
Will got knocked against a shipyard crate, then blocked a Ninja's sword with his blaster, before he turned and ran off, then turned and leaned against another crate. He blocked a Ninja's sword with his blaster, then shoved the Ninja away, before he turned and leaned against the corner of the first crate.
"Ah!" he groaned.
He peeked out slightly from it, but then turned and saw a Lava Lizard coming at him on his right, before he fired his blaster, hitting its chest, knocking it down against a barrel. He turned and blocked a Ninja's sword with his blaster, before he pushed forward with the Ninja, then Will turned and saw two more jumped from crate to crate. A fourth then kicked Will's chest, before the first rammed him down the gap between the crates, but then Will kicked him, knocking him back into the fourth, knocking them both down. Will turned as a Lava Lizard tried to slash him, but missed as he dodged, then he grabbed its sword and put it against the right crate, but then turned as a Ninja dived down landed behind him. He jumped up as the Ninja tried to slash his legs, firing. his blaster once past both crates, hitting the Lava Lizard, knocking it down.
Mack blocked a Ninja's sword with his own, then turned and blocked another's, who backed away.
"We gotta do something." he said, before he blocked their swords with his own as they tried to hit him at the same time. "This is nuts!"
He knocked their swords up with his own.
"There's just too many of them!" Dax exclaimed, getting up.
"Yeah, we're getting pounded by the sheer numbers!" Jazz exclaimed, getting up, clutching her left arm.
Lensscope fired a blast from his cannon arm, as Soundamp fired a sonic beam from his shoulder speaker, which hit the ground behind Dax, creating an explosion, which knocked him up.
"AHHH!" he screamed, twirling around.
(Hartford Mansion)
Mr. Hartford stood in the base, watching the fight on the main screen.
"Uh!" Dax moaned, hitting the ground on his back.
He rolled onto his side.
"Hang in there, Rangers." Mr. Hartford said.
He turned and moved towards the another computer, before he pressed two buttons on it, bringing up an image of the Transtek Armor, with the words 'Transtek Armor Complete' beneath it.
"Transtek Armor complete." he said. "Get ready for some serious backup."
(The city)
The Transtek Armor arrived and landed near Dax, who got up.
"Yeah. This part's all mine." he said happily.
He ran towards the Transtek, as Soundamp and Lensscope both came out from behind a car, as Dax got into the Transtek, and grabbed a knob on either side of the seat.
"Transtek Armor, go!" he shouted.
Both monsters gasped as Dax raced the Transtek towards them, before their fired their respective blasts at it, but missed as Dax wheeled it past the explosions they created.
"Gotcha." Dax smirked.
The Transtek claws grabbed Soundamp and Lensscope as it skidded to a halt, lifting itself up so only its back end remained on the ground.
"AH!" the monsters cried, as lighting came out of them.
"Going up." Dax joked, pressing some buttons.
He moved the right knob, making the front of the Trakstek bounce up and down, throwing both monsters into the air, before they blew up.
Moltor slashed Ronny's sword and forearm with his right one, knocking her away near a car, before he turned around.
"Let's get them!" he said.
He turned and slashed Ronny across the chest, knocking her down as she turned around, before he charged at the Transtek. Kamdor joined him as Mack blocked a Ninja's sword with his own.
"AH!" Kamdor and Moltor yelled, diving away.
They both landed behind the Transtek, which Dax drove and skidded around 180 degrees, to face them both as they got up.
"Shall we?" Kamdor asked.
Moltor nodded, before they both shot lighting from their swords at the Transtek.
"Fire!" Kamdor yelled.
Dax drove the Transtek back as the lighting hit the ground around it, creating explosions.
"Engage Transtek transformation!" he shouted, pulling a lever up.
The Transtek raced along the ground, before it shot up and then down, with the claws folding out to make feet, then its left cannon rotated down 270 degrees, followed by its right one, then its back bumper rose up, showing a head with green eyed goggles, then it landed on the ground.
Kamdor and Moltor both stared at it.
"Come on?" Dax dared.
"AH!" Moltor growled, charging forward.
Kamdor followed, before they both jumped up and tried to slash the Transtek, but their swords barely phased it as it moved its arms. They both landed on their feet, then Kamdor dodged as it fired a blast from its head bumper, creating an explosion, then Moltor shot lighting from his swords at it, but didn't phase it.
"AH!" Dax grunted.
Kamdor jumped up and fly slashed the Transtek's left arm, before Moltor jumped up and slashed its right one. The Transtek jumped over them both, kicking its right leg against the wall of a warehouse, before it jumped up and fired a blast from its head, creating an explosion behind Moltor.
"AHH!" he moaned, getting knocked up.
He waved his arms and kicked his legs out as he dived down.
Kamdor turned as the Transtek landed on the roof of the warehouse, before it bounced away, landing near him, before he jumped up. He landed near the cockpit, then slashed the window five times as it moved around.
"Uh!" Dax groaned.
Kamdor kept slashing the window with his swords.
"Shields, fire!" Dax yelled.
Shields popped up around the Transtek, knocking Kamdor off and away.
"AH!" he moaned, before he hit the ground and rolled over. "Ah!"
He got up and stared at the Transtek, as Dax pointed at him.
"Hey, Kamdor, say hello to my little robot?" he said, holding his fists up, before grabbing the knobs.
The Transtek held up its arms and aimed the cannons, before the head bumper bent down on top of the head, then its feet dug into the ground. It fired blasts from both cannon arms and head ones, which shot towards Kamdor, hitting the ground behind him, creating an explosion.
"AHHH!" he yelled, getting knocked up.
He dived down while waving his arms out, while the parchment went flying away.
"AH!" he moaned, hitting some barrels and beams.
The parchment landed on the ground, which Miratrix spotted while pulling on Rose's right arm.
"AH!" Rose groaned, before Miratrix lifted her arm up, knocking her away. "AH!"
Miratrix jumped up and dived towards the parchment, landing crouched near it. She reached to pick it up, when the Transtek got in front of her, which fired its arm cannons at her, creating an explosion on either side of her.
"AH!" she gasped.
She back flipped away, landing crouched down, before she got up and stared at a smokescreen. Once it cleared, she saw Dax standing beside the Transtek, holding the parchment.
"That's a wrap." he joked, holding it sideways.
Kamdor grunted as he stumbled towards Miratrix, before he held his hands like a Ninja.
"This isn't over!" he vowed, before they vanished in a puff of smoke.
Ronny leaned against a car and braced herself, holding her sword up, as eight Ninjas surrounded her - two on top of the car. They all raised their swords up to strike, when purple mist came out of their heads, making them lower their swords, before they and Ronny all looked at each other.
"Hey, the spell is broken." she said, touching ones arms.
"Yeah. We did it." Dax said, looking at the parchment.
Later, once the Rangers were back in the Hartford Mansion, they opened the doors to the living room, then stepped inside, Rose holding the parchment.
"That was awesome." Ronny remarked. "I can't believe the Transtek's power."
"It was off the hook." Will agreed.
"You can say that again. That really came through for us back there." Jazz recalled.
"You said it." Mack agreed.
"I better give this parchment to Mr. H so he can decode it." Rose said.
They all began to walk towards the office, when Spencer got in front of them, putting down buckets, mops, cloths, and scrubbers.
"Everyone who thinks they don't deserve latrine duty, step back one pace." Spencer instructed.
The Rangers all took a step backwards.
"Dax and Rose, not so fast." Spencer said, pointing at them.
Dax and Rose turned to the others. (Jazz was on Ronny's left)
"Ooh." they all said.
"Busted." Ronny said, as Will laughed.
"You're in trouble." Jazz teased, as Rose and Dax turned back to Spencer.
"Me?" Rose gasped, pointing at herself. "What did I do?"
"Aiding and abetting in a deception." Spencer explained, pointing from her to Dax.
Rose lowered her head, seeing his point as she'd talked Dax into the audition, who touched her arm.
"The consequence; you two, get to clean all the bathrooms." Spencer explained, pointing at them.
"Ah, that's not so bad." Dax said, as Will grinned, his arms folded.
Rose looked at him uncertainly, as Ronny and Jazz smiled, before Mack touched his shoulder.
"My friend, you don't know how many bathrooms this place has." Mack said.
Dax turned slightly as Will sniggered, before Dax turned back to Spencer.
"27 to be exact." Spencer explained.
Rose's eyes widened as Dax turned to Mack in shock, before Mack nodded to confirm. Spencer picked up the cleaning gear as Mack patted Dax's shoulders, giving the buckets to Dax, and the mops to Rose.
"Enjoy." Will said, patting Dax's left shoulder.
"I'll take that." Jazz said, taking the parchment from Rose.
Spencer clicked his fingers and walked off, with Dax and Rose right behind him, as the others all smiled at their punishment, Will laughing as Mack waved.
