Kokabiel Arc Finale Chapter 39: I Am The Impossible

"Thank you... Irina... Xenovia... If there is a next life... I hope it's filled with the love I missed in this one. If I'm given that privilege. Tell Sister Griselda, Father Touji, the Head Priest... I'm sorry. Irina... live happily with that childhood friend of yours you would never stop talking about... Xenovia... keep being the greatest knight of the church there is. I'm glad that you two were… my only two friends… Again... Thank you…"

His eyes closed. His smile lingered as his body went still.

Freed's body began to glow purple, dissolving into particles. Irina and Xenovia remained kneeling, tears streaming down their cheeks as they watched his essence float into the sky, while they remember the first times they met and befriended Freed as children.

'H-hi, my name is Irina Shidou. It's nice to meet you.' Irina said as she waved.

'My name is Freed Sellzen. Nice to meet you too, Irina.' he said while reaching out his hand for her to shake, which she accepted.

'Hey c'mon. Quit being all gloom and doom. Let's be friends, Xenovia.' Freed said as he walked behind Xenovia.

'Hmph. Friends you say? Fine, if it would make you happy.' she replied as she looked over her shoulder.

They came out of their thoughts and looked at each other. They slowly stood up, wiping their eyes, placed their weapons into their pocket dimensions. They then walked up to each other, and hugged tightly.

On the outside of town, Jiro, Asia, and Kokabiel watched on the magic screens.

"Irina-san... Xenovia..." Asia muttered as tears dripped down her cheeks, knowing how close they were with the stray priest.

Jiro, who was still in his Dragon Force form, watched with a soft expression and remained silent. While the magic screens had no sound, with his enhanced, draconic hearing, he was able to hear everything they said during their fight, even from the distance outside of town. As he watched and listened, he realized that he had been wrong about Freed. He initially thought Freed was nothing but a psychopath with no redeeming qualities and a threat to the world that needed to be eliminated—but now, he understood how much pain the man had been in. He felt great sorrow for Irina and Xenovia—especially Irina, since she was the one to strike him down. He wished he had been there to comfort her and was already thinking of ways to cheer her up after everything was over.

Kokabiel, though his anger was near its boiling point, remained silent—he knew what was coming next.

Irina and Xenovia pulled apart and turned toward the pedestal Valper stood on. The fourth small crystal ball on the fourth column went out, and the magic circle stopped forming.

"At least... we were able to stop the Abyss Break... and stop their plan to destroy the town," Xenovia said in a low tone.

"Yeah... at least we won, and no one else will have to die," Irina replied with a small, relieved but still pained smile.

"AHA, HA, HA, HA! YOU ANGELS BELIEVE YOU WON?! SURELY YOU JEST?! YOU THINK I WOULDN'T PLAN AHEAD IF THE ELEMENT 4 WERE DEFEATED?!" Valper laughed loudly as he glowed purple, catching the girls' attention.

The four small crystal balls on the corner columns, and the fifth larger one in the center, began glowing again, and the magic circle at the foot of the pedestal resumed forming, much to their shock and horror.

"Before we put our plan into motion, I inserted the four Holy Elements into myself and set a failsafe for the organic link magic to be transferred to me if the Element 4 were killed. Unfortunately for you, the Abyss Break will be recharged and fire in just 30 seconds—and Judgment Day shall finally commence," Valper explained with a manic smile, shocking them further.

"Not as long as we're here!" Irina and Xenovia retorted in unison as they requipped Excalibur Destruction and Ascalon back into their hands and began running toward Valper.

However, before they could reach him, Asia's enchantment wore off, and they suddenly felt exhaustion and pain overwhelm them. Muscles in their arms and legs pulsed painfully—the drawback from overusing Ascalon and Excalibur Destruction's abilities. They collapsed to their knees, and then flat on the ground, wincing in pain.

"Fufufu, oh? What's wrong? Are you too tired from your fight with your dear old Freed to stop me now?" Valper said, chuckling mockingly.

On the outskirts of town, Jiro and Asia's eyes widened in fear and panic as they saw the pedestal start back up on the magic screens. Jiro was about to Instant Transmission back to town when a light spear came flying toward him, halting his action as he dodged it.

"Ha, ha, ha! I suppose that was good thinking on your part, Valper! Sorry, Red Dragon—you won't be stopping this plan of mine. The Element 4 may be dead now, but Judgment Day shall be evoked!"

Irina and Xenovia squirmed on the ground as they tried to get back up quickly, but couldn't.

"No need to feel helpless, my dears—it'll all be over soon. Just 10 more seconds and you'll be blown to bits," Valper sneered as the magic circle at the foot of the pedestal neared completion and the five crystal balls began glowing from orange to purple.

The two angels closed their eyes tightly in anticipation, defeat, and despair as Valper started counting down.

"Just 5 more seconds... 4... 3... 2—"

SHUNK

Valper halted his count as he suddenly felt excruciating pain. He looked down to see a large gash across his torso, going from his right shoulder to his left hip. Before it could finish, the Abyss Break pedestal stopped and began lagging. Irina, Xenovia, Jiro, Asia, and Kokabiel watched on the magic screens and saw who had appeared on the scene—with familiar short, blonde hair.

"KIBA?!" Irina, Xenovia, Jiro, and Asia yelled in unison in shock and surprise.

Valper turned around to see the knight in question standing behind him, holding his Sword of Betrayer, now covered in blood. Kiba lifted his sword and flicked the blood off it, then turned to face Valper.

"I-Isaiah...?! W-What the hell are you doing here...?!" Valper stuttered as he scowled at Kiba, before collapsing onto his back.

Kiba walked over to his body and looked down at him with a stoic yet piercing glare.

"I told you before, didn't I? In the name of my fallen friends, I will cut you down. And I've come here to make good on that promise," Kiba said in a low tone, to which Valper's scowl deepened.

"D-Damn you! Y-You defective experimental... frivolous little brat!" Valper spat in anger and frustration.

Kiba lifted his sword above his head, ready to finish the job.

"Say goodbye, Valper Galilei. May your death set my soul, my friends' souls, and the souls of those who died at your hands free—and bring peace to this world," Kiba declared as he brought his sword down and decapitated Valper.

Valper's head rolled away as blood spurted from his body. The glow from the five crystal balls on the pedestal went out completely, and the magic circle at the foot of it dispersed, signaling its deactivation.

"Kiba..." Irina and Xenovia muttered in unison from the ground, their expressions softening in relief.

Kiba turned his gaze toward the two angels and smiled.

"Hey. I'm glad I made it in time to save the day," Kiba said playfully as he walked up to them, dispersed his sword, and helped them stand.

They chuckled at his words and stood up, leaning on his shoulder for support.

Then suddenly, they heard a roar—deep, guttural—and the loud stomps of something massive approaching. The group turned toward the source, and to their shock, they saw one of the Cerberuses leaping over buildings, landing just a few feet away with a thunderous crash.

Their eyes widened in disbelief and fear... until, to their utter amazement, they saw Issei, Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Ravel, Aika, Matsuda, and Motohama hop off the beast's back and land gracefully on the ground.

Irina and Xenovia stood up straighter, their battle-worn bodies trying to recover. The three swordsmen took a moment to collect themselves as their comrades approached. Irina and Xenovia were still visibly affected by their emotional battle with Freed—the pain, the closure, the weight of it all still lingered. But in their eyes now… there was also resolution.

Their friends rushed over, checking for injuries. Raynare stepped forward, pulling out a sealing talisman and absorbing Freed's fallen Excalibur Blessing into it. Rias did the same with the tamed Cerberus, sealing it safely.

From the magic screens, Jiro and Asia exhaled in relief as they watched.

"Phew... Looks like we were worried for nothing. Nice going, Goldilocks. Same to the rest of you," Jiro muttered with a proud smile.

"Way to go, everyone! You did it!" Asia cheered from her Nimbus Cloud, beaming.

Kokabiel looked on, stunned—his expression frozen in disbelief.

"See?" Jiro smirked, glancing at the stunned Cadre. "Didn't I say they'd win? Why don't we congratulate them directly?"

With a snap of his fingers, a bright light flashed—and in an instant, all the Biblical Vanguard members, the Four Salamanders, and even the tamed Cerberus were teleported outside the town, a few feet from Jiro and Asia.

"Everyone! Are you alright?! Your battles looked intense..." Asia called out as she floated down to meet them, Sacred Gear already activated.

"We're fine, Asia. Just a little wounded and tired, that's all," Raynare replied, walking up to her. Asia immediately began healing her.

"I'm glad... But what about you two—Irina-san, Xenovia?" Asia asked, turning toward them with worry written all over her face. The others mirrored her concern.

The two holy swordswomen exchanged a look. Then Irina spoke, her voice steady despite the emotion in her eyes.

"I'm sure you saw how things ended, Asia-chan... We defeated Freed. But... it cost him his life."

"It was a hard-fought battle," Xenovia added. "But in the end, our bond—and the power of our golden wings and blades—overwhelmed him. His tormented soul is finally at peace."

The group circled around them in quiet solidarity.

Raynare: "You two must've been incredible out there. I've never seen a half-angel and a reincarnated angel wield a holy blade like that."

Rias: "I can only imagine what the battle was like. But what matters is—you're both here."

Akeno: "You two were something else out there, girls."

Koneko: "Totes. You're both badass."

Kiba: "Indeed. I'd be honored to spar with either of you one day."

Ravel: "Your battle must've been magnificent."

Issei, Aika, Matsuda, and Motohama (in unison): "Nice going, Boss Irina! You too, Xenovia!"

"Hehe, thanks—but don't just shower us with praise," Irina said with a soft giggle. "I'm sure you all fought hard too."

"Indeed," Xenovia added. "We'd like to hear your stories as well."

They both smiled warmly, the weight of Freed's death beginning to lift, bit by bit. But as the adrenaline faded, so did their strength. Their bodies trembled, then collapsed to their knees from the strain of wielding Ascalon and Excalibur Destruction at full power.

"Oh no! Are you alright?! You shouldn't push yourselves so hard!" Asia cried out, rushing to them.

"Don't worry, Asia," Xenovia reassured her through a wince. "We're alright. But the strain on our bodies from amplifying our powers and the energy drain of our Golden Wings transformation... it's considerable."

Asia nodded in understanding as she continued healing them. Meanwhile, Irina glanced over at Jiro and their eyes met. He smiles at her, his expression was full of quiet pride and sympathy—no judgment, only understanding. She responds with a warm smile of her own, appreciating his silent support and understanding, sensing that he must've heard the conversation between her, Xenovia, and Freed during their battle. That look alone comforted her more than words ever could. Despite the pain of the aftermath, having Jiro's presence nearby gives her a sense of reassurance and strength.

On his floating throne above, Kokabiel seethed.

"How... how could this have happened?! My plan was flawless! How dare these lowlifes defeat my generals so easily?! They had Excalibur fragments! Cerberuses! And yet—defeated?!" he muttered, his voice, filled with rage and disbelief.

Jiro turned toward him, mocking grin on his face. "What did I tell you? I did say this was gonna be interesting."

"Tch! Yes, you said that, boy! But this is insane! My Element 4 were supposed to crush your pathetic team! And one of the Cerberuses—tamed by a mere human?! How can this be possible?!" he spat.

The rage at being defeated and humiliated, and Jiro's nonchalance only enrages him further, and it finally reached its boiling point. Kokabiel stood from his floating throne, dispelling it with a snap. He flared his ten black wings, tossed off his cloak, and raised his glowing fist to the sky. The clouds above them turned dark, swirling with ominous power.

"IF MY SUBORDINATES CAN'T DISPOSE OF THOSE WEAKLINGS... THEN I WILL! WITNESS THE WRATH OF A LEADER-CLASS FALLEN ANGEL!"

"HOLY GLITTER!"

Kokabiel brought his fist down. From the clouds, a massive purple beam of light surged downward toward the group. Everyone looked up in horror—realizing there was no time to dodge.

Seeing his intention, Jiro Instant Transmissions above them, claws/gauntlets raised. He caught the beam, halting its descent mid-air. The impact created a massive shockwave that lit the battlefield in violet hues. Then, with a fierce shout, Jiro hurled the beam upward, where it exploded in the sky, blinding them with light. The ground trembled beneath them—the sheer force made it clear: if that blast had landed on them, they wouldn't have survived.

As the dust settled, Jiro landed in front of them, turning back to look at them over his shoulder.

"You all saw the power of that attack! Like I said—he's mine. You'd best get further back because this is going to get intense." he commanded in a low tone.

The group—especially Irina—steps back as they watch the scene unfold, their worry for Jiro's safety growing with each passing moment. Despite their worry for his well-being, they knew that with their exhaustion and his serious expression and tone in his voice, the best option was to do as he said. They nodded solemnly, backing away. Irina lingered a moment longer, worry etched across her face.

"Alright! Kokabiel isn't playing around. That blast... it could've killed us all if you hadn't intervened. Don't do anything reckless, Jiro-kun. We believe in you, but we don't want you to get hurt in the process. Just please... stay safe." she said, her expression soft with worry, yet trusting.

"I will." He turned his head toward her, his eyes softening. Oh, and, sorry I wasn't there to comfort you with the others after... that happened. Funny, I'm supposed to be you boyfriend, but I wasn't there when you were at your most vulnerable. So... sorry."

Irina's eyes widened, touched by the sincerity in his voice. She smiled gently as she realizes what he means.

"No its fine. You don't have to apologize." she waves her hands slighty. "You had your priorities to take care of in this situation, so it couldn't be helped. Besides... just seeing your face now—it's more than enough. And you just protected me and the others. That smile earlier? It told me everything I needed to know. Just being able to see you if front of me now is more than enough to make me feel happy and at ease even with just happened,"

Jiro smiled softly, feeling a bit relieved at her words, but still felt bad somewhat. "Thanks, Ri-Ri-chan. When this is over, I'll treat you to something nice. Anything you want."

"You're welcome, my love," she said with a loving smile, her voice, filled with a mixture of awe, concern, and trust. "I know you can handle Kokabiel. We're all counting on you. Just remember; we're all here to support and help you if the need arises. Promise me to stay safe, and come back to me in one piece, so we can enjoy that time together." But really—just come back safe."

"Of course." Jiro responded.

Irina then gave him a kiss on the cheek and flew back to the group, leaving him to confront Kokabiel. Jiro turned to the fallen, who had landed several feet away. His claws clenched, wings spread, and aura blazed into red-hot flames.

"You were wondering how it was possible that I formed a team that was able to beat your goons? Don't you know—I AM THE IMPOSSIBLE!" Jiro roared, large flames surging around him, the air warping from the heat as his draconic features becoming more menacing—eyes glowing, aura roaring, and power radiating like a blazing inferno.

Kokabiel grimaced and sneered as he watched Jiro power up.

"So, you think you've turned the tide, huh?! You may have improved a little since our last encounter, but you've got quite the confidence for someone standing before me! But don't be fooled—your transformation won't save you from my wrath! You may have defeated my soldiers, the Element 4, and even Valper, but don't think that makes you invincible! You're nothing more than a pest—and I'll squash you like one! Prepare yourself, boy, BECAUSE YOU WILL DIE TONIGHT!" he roared, flaring his massive purple aura in a display of power, his eyes glowing fiercely as he glared at Jiro.

"Has anyone ever told you that you talk to much?! Then come at me, Crowkabiel! Let's see what you've got! BECAUSE I'M ALL FIRED UP!" Jiro said, taking a fighting stance and gesturing for him to come forward, further enraging Kokabiel.

"YOU DARE MOCK ME, BRAT?! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! GO TO HELL, RED DRAGON EMPEROR!" Kokabiel roared as he drew his left fist back, shrouding it in purple light energy, flying toward Jiro.

"YOU FIRST, JACKASS!" Jiro shouted back, charging at him and drawing his right, claw/gauntleted fist back, engulfing it in red flames.

Their fists collided with deadly force. The clash between Jiro's fiery punch and Kokabiel's light energy erupted in a massive shockwave that shook the Earth and tore apart the ground beneath them. The surrounding trees were no match for the impact—uprooted and blown away as the area was engulfed in a blinding red and purple glow.

Jiro and Kokabiel then exchanged furious punches and kicks, each blow creating shockwaves that further devastated the battlefield.

They briefly disengaged before charging again, engaging in a relentless, high-speed melee. Their movements blurred into a whirlwind of punches and kicks as they zipped around the field. Each clash sent shockwaves rippling through the area, leaving the terrain even more battered. The intensity of their powers and energy released during the clash even made the very air vibrate from the force of their unleashed abilities.

The group watched in awe, eyes wide, struggling to keep up with the speed of their battle. Their heads darting back and fourth, trying to locate the two combatants as they take in the spectacle unfolding before them.

The 4 Salamanders (in unison): "YOU GOT THIS, BOSS JIRO!"

Rias: "Wow... I never expected to see a fight like this. Jiro's actually holding his own against Kokabiel."

Raynare: "I have to admit, I never thought I'd see the day someone gave Kokabiel a run for his money. Jiro's skills are on another level."

Akeno: "You can say that again. Kokabiel's struggling more than I thought he would."

Kiba: "Yeah, Kokabiel's supposed to be powerful, but Jiro's giving him real trouble. Did we underestimate him that much?"

Koneko: "Damn... I knew Boss Man was strong, but this is crazier than I thought."

Ravel: "Agreed. Lord Jiro is holding his own. I just hope he doesn't get hurt in the process."

Xenovia: "Jiro's determination and power are awe-inspiring. Watching him fend off Kokabiel like this... it's incredible."

Asia: "I'm so worried, but I believe in Jiro's strength. I just hope he stays safe."

Irina muttered softly, her voice laced with worry and admiration, speaking almost as if she's voicing her inner thoughts, "He's so strong and determined... I can't believe he's holding his own against Kokabiel. But I'm scared for him. I hope he comes out of this unscathed."

Kokabiel spread his arms and wings wide, breaking the clash. He flew back and launched a flurry of light energy blasts at Jiro. Jiro flew after him, dodging and deflecting the blasts as he drew back his right, claw/gauntleted fist, engulfing it in flames while he makes his charge towards Kokabiel.

"DOMINATE DRAGON'S... IRON FIST!"

He shouted as he closed in and landed a flaming punch directly to Kokabiel's face. With a loud thud, Kokabiel was sent flying. Jiro flies after him again, ready for a follow up attack. Both of his claws ignited with flames as he crossed his arms over his chest and flew after him.

"DOMINATE DRAGON'S... WING ATTACK!"

Jiro roared as he closes in and soars past Kokabiel while slashing his torso, his claws shredded Kokabiel's black suit and scorched his chest. Kokabiel cried out in pain, his chest burning and sizzling. He growled and turned, just in time to catch a flaming left hook from Jiro. In retaliation, Kokabiel pulled Jiro closer and delivered a light-infused punch to his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He then let go of Jiro's fist and aimed his right hand at his face, charging a point-blank light blast.

Jiro's eyes widened—he had no time or room to dodge or block. Kokabiel let out a roar and unleashed the blast , nearly enveloping him. Jiro threw up his hands to try and hold the blast back. However, while on the receiving end of the beam, it pushed him back across the battlefield. He sticks his feet in the ground his feet tore up the dirt as he skidded back.

After several seconds, Jiro gritted his teeth, roared, and forcefully thrust his arms upward, launching the blast into the sky. It exploded with a deafening boom two dozen miles in the air high above, lighting the night sky in a fiery burst. Jiro then looked forward just in time to see Kokabiel speeding toward him with two light swords in each hand.

Jiro braces himself as Kokabiel over head swung his right arm downward—Jiro caught it and snapped it with his grip. Kokabiel then yelled and over head swung his left sword. however, this time, Jiro deflected and redirects the strike with his forearm, spread his dragon wings, and shot high into the air. He stopped midair, cupped his gauntleted hands and brings them to his right hip, and began forming a fireball that rapidly grew in size.

"KAA... MEE... HAA... MEE..."

Kokabiel looks up at Jiro, seeing him preparing the same attack he used to stop the Abyss Break before. Then—in a similar fashion to Raynare's attack—Kokabiel lifts his hands up and summons over a hundred light spears, floating around him. He thrust his arms forward, launching them all at Jiro at once, insuring that he had no chance to dodge.

As the light spears fly towards him, Jiro readies himself—anticipating a move of that caliber. Once the spears were in range and just before they reached him, he used his Instant Transmission—vanishing from sight. Kokabiel's eyes widened in shock as the light spears continued upward, striking nothing.

Jiro reappears back on ground, crouched down right in front of Kokabiel—who looks down in shock and fear. Thinking quick, he positions all ten of his black wings in front of him to defend himself.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

With a roar, he thrusts his arms upward and unleashed a colossal blast of flames from his palms, directly into Kokabiel. He feels the sheer heat and power behind Jiro's attack and the force of the blast overwhelmed even his wings, sending him flying skyward as the blast exploded in the air, painting the night sky red. The explosion echoed like thunder, and a scorching wind surged outward, scattering debris. The group on the ground shielded their faces, recoiling from the intense heat.

After the explosion dies down, Jiro drops his arms and clenches his fists as he looks at the black cloud in the air, knowing his adversary is still alive. As if on cue, Kokabiel outspreads his wings, dispersing the cloud. He grits his teeth and flares his purple light aura once more before flying down toward Jiro, his right fist drawn back and enveloped in crackling energy. Jiro, in turn, flares his red flaming aura and launches upward, his right fist ignited in blazing flames.

Once in range, they hurl their punches at each other. However, instead of their fists colliding, they strike each other square in the face, knocking each other back briefly. Shaking off the hits, they expand their auras and ascend higher into the sky, their red flames and purple light trailing behind as they clash midair.

The battle escalates as Jiro and Kokabiel, shrouded in their respective auras, collide again and again in a spectacular display of power, appearing as orbs of red and purple light crashing into one another. From the ground, the others watch in awe as the sky is lit up with brilliant flashes, each collision producing massive shockwaves that shake the earth below.

After several intense moments of aerial clashing, Jiro and Kokabiel break apart, both panting as they hover midair. They lock eyes, silently assessing each other's condition before preparing to resume their fierce duel.

"You've managed to hold your own against me at full power, boy. I'll give you that. You've definitely grown far stronger since our last battle. However, don't mistake my fatigue for weakness. I still have enough power to bring you down," Kokabiel sneered, his voice a mix of condescension and exhaustion as he neared his limit.

Hearing this, Jiro's eyes widened for a second before he grinned, revealing his fangs.

"Wait. Don't tell me... you've actually been going all out this whole time? I don't know if you noticed, but I haven't even boosted with the Boosted Gear yet. This is just my base level in Dragon Force," Jiro said, his smug smile returning.

Kokabiel's eyes widened, disbelief washing over his face as he was stunned into silence.

"You... haven't used the Boosted Gear's power this entire time?" Kokabiel replied, struggling to comprehend Jiro's strength. "Your base level... You've been holding back?"

From the sidelines, the team watching the battle exchanged stunned looks, hearing Jiro's words.

Rias and Akeno (in unison): "He's been fighting at his base level without using the Boosted Gear?!"

Xenovia: "That's astonishing. His strength is truly remarkable."

Kiba: "It's incredible how strong he is at base."

Koneko: "And he's been throwing hands with Kokabiel like that?! Damn, dawg!"

Ravel: "Lord Jiro truly is someone to be reckoned with."

Asia: "It's hard to believe he's been holding back the Boosted Gear's power this whole time... He's incredibly strong."

Raynare: "Seriously?! It's insane how much raw power he has even without a boost!"

"What, you guys didn't know?" Matsuda and Motohama said in unison, catching everyone's attention.

"We've seen the boss fight plenty of times. He's nowhere near his full power yet," Aika added, smirking.

"Just watch what comes next. It's gonna be good," Issei said, arms crossed with an excited smile.

Irina, who had been watching the battle unfold silently and intensely, finally spoke, still shocked and hardly believing what she was hearing.

"He's not even using the power of the Boosted Gear? I can't believe it..." she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jiro then clenched his claws/gauntleted fists as they began to glow red.

"Now that I have your attention... why don't I show you something badass before I incinerate you? Watch closely now... because this... IS TO GO... EVEN FURTHER BEYOND! HYAAAAAA!"

"(WELSH DRAGON… BALANCE BREAKER!)"

"RHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—!"

The deep voice of Ddraig boomed from the Boosted Gear as Jiro roared, red flames exploding from him and shooting skyward like a fiery beacon of red light illuminating the night. The earth trembled violently beneath the sheer pressure of his aura, as if it were about to split apart. A scorching wind blasted outward, blowing away debris. Kokabiel shielded himself with his arms to avoid being blown away, while the others on the sidelines did the same—except for the 4 Salamanders, who had experienced it before.

When the flames finally settled somewhat, Jiro was revealed—fully clad from head to toe in crimson red draconic armor, with glowing red jewels embedded in his chest, forearms, and knees. His red dragon wings were visibly larger and flared from his back, keeping him aloft. He hovered, engulfed in a massive red flaming aura.

"Well? Like what you see?" Jiro asked, his voice now deeper and more menacing through the helmet.

Kokabiel floated a few feet away, completely frozen in place. His eyes wide with shock as he witnesses Jiro's transformation.

"Holy...! In all my battles... I've never seen the Balance Breaker of the Boosted Gear emit this much power... What the hell is this power?!" Kokabiel stammered in disbelief.

"It's the power that's going to bring peace to the world—starting by protecting this country and annihilating you and your war obsession," Jiro declared, resolute.

Kokabiel, still stunned, processed Jiro's words. The fallen angel slowly started to feel the magnitude of the immense power Jiro now exuded and the threat he now faces before him finally sink in, but refuses to let it show on his face.

"TCH! THE POWER TO BRING PEACE TO THE WORLD?! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! I WON'T GO DOWN WITH OUT A FIGHT!" Kokabiel yelled, flaring his aura again and charging his light energy into his fist.

He launched forward and struck Jiro's armored chest with a powerful, light energy-infused punch, creating a sharp shockwave as a loud thud reverberated through the air. However, Jiro didn't even budge. Despite the force and power Kokabiel had put into the strike, Jiro hovered motionless, completely unfazed.

Kokabiel's expression twisted in disbelief as he slowly pulled his fist back and floated backward.

"Is that so? Then let's see what you've got," Jiro said calmly.

In a blur, he appeared right in front of Kokabiel and drove a massive left hook into his stomach, making him cough up blood. Without missing a beat, Jiro followed with a spinning kick to the side of Kokabiel's neck, sending him flying several feet to the side. Just as Kokabiel tried to regain his balance mid-air, Jiro intercepted him and landed a powerful flaming right hook to his face, launching him toward the ground like a meteor. Kokabiel tore through the terrain, carving a path of destruction as dust, rocks, and debris exploded in his wake. He finally came to a stop with a thunderous crash, buried in rubble.

On the ground, the group stared in utter shock and awe Jiroadorned in his Balance Breaker armorwas dominating Kokabiel with frightening ease. Their eyes, wide with disbelief and excitement, as they watch the unfolding events, following his every move. The four Salamanders chuckled smugly.

Raynare: "What the hell is going on?! I've seen past wielders of that armor, but never like this!"

Rias: "Wow... So this is Jiro in his Balance Breaker form."

Akeno: "He's overwhelming Kokabiel... it's incredible to watch."

Ravel: "Just like a dragon... he's owning the battlefield."

Koneko: "His strength and technique... it's almost effortless."

Kiba: "He's moving so fast, it's hard to keep track of him."

Xenovia: "His speed and power... I've never seen anything like it."

Asia: "Every move... it's like he becomes someone else in that armor. He's completely dominating."

"Jiro-kun... you've become so strong... so powerful..." Irina murmured, the most shocked and amazed of them all, her voice barely above a whisper, laced with wonder, disbelief, and a hint of affection.

She stared at Jiro—now a draconic powerhouse—consumed by the realization of how far he had come since they'd been separated 10 years earlier.

Then, with a roar of fury, Kokabiel exploded from the rubble, his purple aura flaring violently. His voice thundered with rage as he summoned every ounce of power he can possibly muster, glaring up at Jiro.

"Are you finally starting to understand how all those people you tormented felt? All the pain you caused for your selfish desires?" Jiro said, staring down with piercing gaze through his helmet, his voice sharp and condemning.

"YOU BASTARD! DO YOU SEE YOURELF AS SOME SORT OF GOD?! IT'S A THOUSAND YEARS TOO EARLY FOR YOU TO LECTURE ME! BOOSTED GEAR OR NOT, I WON'T BE HUMILIATED THIS WAY BY SOME DAMN DRAGON BRAT!" Kokabiel bellowed in pure rage.

"Oh yeah? Then try a little harder. You done getting your shit together down there? 'Cause I'm starting to get bored," Jiro replied with a low, condescending sneer.

Kokabiel's eyes flared with rage, veins bulging on his forehead as if they were about to burst.

"WHAT WAS THAT?! OH, YOU THINK YOU'VE WON?! I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME!" he roared, his aura flaring higher as he prepared to unleash his full power.

Kokabiel—his anger reaching its peak—bursts into the air, soaring high into the sky above Jiro. He raised his hands and began forming a massive sphere of purple light above his head, fueling it with all the power he has. The ball grew rapidly, nearing the size of Kuoh Town itself, pulsing with pure destructive energy.

"THIS WILL OBLITERATE EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES IN AN EXPLOSION THE SIZE OF A NUCLEAR BLAST! IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRECIOUS COUNTRY, THEN YOU BETTER STOP THIS YOURSELF, RED DRAGON EMPEROR!" Kokabiel screamed, his voice thundering with determination and filled with malevolent glee as he holds the ball of purple light energy over his head.

The group below gasped as the colossal ball of energy loomed above, it's presence casting an ominous glow across the battlefield. Wind whipped around them as panic and dread filled their faces.

Raynare: "Did he just say... a nuclear blast?! That's insane!"

Rias: "That attack... it's massive. Can Jiro really stop it?!"

Akeno: "Jiro-kun! What can he possibly do against something like that?!"

Kiba: "That power... it's unreal."

Koneko: "It feels... unstoppable."

Asia and Ravel (in unison): "Jiro-san/Lord Jiro... Please be okay... Please stay safe."

Xenovia: "This is beyond anything we've seen before. I hope he'll be alright."

Irina's heart pounded in her chest. Her voice trembled as she clasped her hands together, silently praying for his safety and victory against such a formidable threat. Her eyes locked on Jiro's silhouette in the sky.

"That attack... it's so powerful. Jiro-kun... can you really stop something this enormous?" she murmured, worried beyond measure, speaking with trepidation, her concern for her beloved almost palpable.

"You heard what I said. Just watch and see what happens," Issei said confidently, the other Salamanders nodding in agreement.

Jiro dispelled his helmet, his hair falling over his eyes. Despite the looming threat, he stood unfazed.

"Hmph. I said something like this to Irina, Raynare, and Asia a while ago... To anyone who threatens to harm my home or the people I care about—I SHOW NO MERCY!" Jiro roared.

His aura flared higher, flames erupting around him as he inhaled deeply, a fireball forming in his mouth.

Irina, Raynare, and Asia stiffened, eyes wide as they looked up at him. They remembered those same words when he was interrogating Raynare over a month ago. But now, witnessing the full extent of his power, they truly understood: Jiro was a force to be reckoned with.

Kokabiel sneered, still holding the massive sphere above his head.

"Hmph! How touching. The mighty Red Dragon Emperor protecting his precious home and loved ones. Well, you can try to protect them all you want—THIS ATTACK WILL ANNIHILATE EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH!" he retorted.

With a deafening cry, Kokabiel hurled the ball of light energy toward the earth.

Unshaken, Jiro unleashed his ultimate technique. "Then let's see if it can handle a dragon's signature attack..."

"DOMINATE DRAGON'S ROAR!"

With a mighty roar, Jiro expelled a colossal stream of red flames from his mouth like a true dragon. The inferno surged skyward, colliding with Kokabiel's attack. A massive shockwave rippled through the battlefield that shook the earth beneath. The powers clash in a fierce battle, the intensity of the collision creating an impressive spectacle as the fire and light struggled against each other in midair.

"By the sacred darkness... he's actually holding it back?! How is this even possible?!" Kokabiel cried out, stunned by the sheer power and strength of Jiro's attack as he tries to push his ball of light further.

"You what I said before... I AM THE IMPOSSIBLE!" Jiro bellowed, pouring more power into his flames.

His attack surged forward, devouring Kokabiel's sphere, tearing through it, and vaporizing it completely. Kokabiel's eyes widened in disbelief as his most powerful technique crumbled before him. He couldn't move fast enough as the flames shot up toward him. The inferno engulfed him, searing his body with agonizing heat.

"THIS CAN'T BE... I'M A LEADER-CLASS FALLEN ANGEL... I CAN'T BE DEFEATEEEED!" he screamed in sheer agony.

However, his voice was silenced as the flames completely consumed him, incinerating him. In moments, there was nothing left—only ashes scattered by the wind. The blast shot into the night sky before gradually fading.

Jiro sighed as leftover black smoke seared from his mouth. He slowly descended, landing gently on the ground. He dispelled his armor, and reverted back to his more human appearance. He takes a deep breath and exhaled, slightly exhausted but victorious.

The group stood frozen, stunned into silence. Their eyes were wide, jaws slack, unable to process what they'd just witnessed. Irina was the first to move, her heart racing as she stepped forward. Her angel wings unfurled as she lifted into the air and glided toward him.

She landed a few feet behind him, her wings folding behind her, eyes locked on him. For a moment, she was silent. The world was silent—save for the gentle wind and the distant rumble of crumbling rubble.

Jiro, sensing her presence, turned around to face her, letting out a low hum, "Hm?"

Irina stood frozen, her eyes wide with a mix of relief and disbelief. Finally, she found her voice.

"Jiro-kun... you did it." Her lips curled into a small, heartfelt smile. "You really saved us all. That was... that was the most amazing thing I've ever seen! You... you were incredible!"

"Heh, heh... thanks," Jiro replied with a soft smile. Just like when he fought the demon Lullaby, deep down, he'd wanted to impress her.

"Seriously, Jiro-kun... how did you get so strong?" Irina asked, her heart racing as she gazed at him, still trying to wrap her head around everything.

"Hellish training in a special place you'll see soon... and getting stronger with every threat I've faced over the last 10 years," Jiro answered calmly.

A soft smile spread across Irina's face at his modest answer, her curiosity piqued by the "special place" he mentioned.

"10 years really is a long time. All that training, facing those powerful threats... it must have been so hard. I wish we hadn't been separated. Maybe I could've helped you. Still, everything you've endured—it's incredible. You have so much strength and determination," she said, her voice tinged with both admiration and a bit of sorrow.

Jiro gave a small smile, stepped closer, gently placing a hand on her cheek and guiding her gaze up to his.

"Hey now, there's no need to feel bad about any of that. We're here now—together—and closer than we've ever been. That's what really matters... because it will never change," he said with a warm smile.

"Yeah... you're right. I just can't help but feel a little regretful about it sometimes. But being here with you now... it's something I wouldn't trade for the world," Irina replied, smiling back at him.

They stood there, faces slowly leaning in for a kiss—until they sensed the others approaching, much to their annoyance—especially Irina—and quickly stepped apart, both blushing slightly.

The rest of the group rushed over and immediately surrounded Jiro, bombarding him with shocked expressions, comments, questions, and praise, getting immensely close to him.

Rias: "That was absolutely amazing!"

Raynare: "Seriously! How the hell did you get so powerful?!"

Xenovia: "I can't believe you defeated a leader-class Fallen Angel so effortlessly!"

Kiba: "That was incredible, Jiro! Your power is truly astounding. How did you do it?!"

Akeno: "You defeated Kokabiel easily! That was truly impressive."

Koneko: "That was hella badass, Boss Man."

Ravel: "That display of power was beyond anything I've ever seen. You truly are an unstoppable force, Lord Jiro."

Asia: "Jiro-san, you fought so bravely against Kokabiel. It was amazing to witness that strength and determination."

"Back, back—get back!" Jiro growled with a tick mark on his forehead as he swung a flaming hand in the air, causing them to squeal and scatter, some giggling.

Irina giggled at the scene just as the 4 Salamanders walked up.

"See? Didn't we tell you it was going to be good?" Aika said smugly, arms crossed under her chest.

The team chuckled at her remark as Jiro turned to his gang members.

"Oh yeah. Looks like you four really stepped it up if you were able to beat those Cerberuses—and the fact that Issei tamed one? Not bad. I won't rag on you for the injuries this time. Those dogs were way tougher than any of the fallen angels you fought over a month ago. Either way... I'm proud of you," he said with a genuine smile.

They beamed, proud of their own growth.

"Heh, what can we say? We're almost unstoppable," Issei said with a smug grin.

"How many times do I have to tell you—WATCH THAT COCKINESS!" Jiro shouted, punching Issei square in the face again.

"GAAAAAAAK!"

The group burst into laughter while Issei stood back up, clutching his nose.

"Anyway, head back to town. Check for any damage to the school and help the rest of the gang handle any remaining fallen angel stragglers still running around," Jiro instructed as the four stood at attention.

"You got it, boss!" they said in unison, saluting.

"Good. Later," Jiro said with a snap of his fingers, teleporting them back to town.

With the 4 Salamanders gone, the group suddenly sensed three familiar presences approaching.

"Indeed. We're proud of you all as well," came an angelic female voice they instantly recognized. They turned to the source.

Descending before the group were the three faction leaders: Gabriel, Sirzechs, and Azazel. Surprise filled the air.

"Lady Gabriel. It's an honor to be in your presence once again," Irina and Xenovia said in unison, bowing deeply.

"Sirzechs? We didn't expect to see you here," Rias said as the other devils bowed their heads in respect.

"Lord Azazel?! What are you doing here?!" Raynare asked, her eyes wide in shock.

"Well, well, so you three finally decided to come out of hiding, huh? Did you enjoy watching the fighting?" Jiro said casually to the trio.

Gabriel, Sirzechs, and Azazel all chuckled and smiled at Jiro's lighthearted tone.

"Well, duh. You were all fighting to stop a potential war, so of course we weren't gonna miss that. And great job taking down Kokabiel, kid," Azazel said playfully.

"You know us well. We did enjoy watching the spectacle unfold. Witnessing all your skills in action—and your defeat of Kokabiel—was truly breathtaking," Gabriel said with a giggle.

"Indeed. They were quite the enthralling battles. We're always pleased to see you all in action," Sirzechs added with a warm smile and nod.

Irina looked at Jiro, noting how unsurprised he seemed by their presence.

"Jiro-kun, excuse me for asking, but why aren't you surprised to see them?" she asked, her curiosity piqued. The others looked equally intrigued.

"Because I knew they were here the whole time. Remember when I said, 'Looks like we have an audience' right before Kokabiel and his goons showed up?" Jiro said, turning to her, then to the whole group.

Their eyes widened slightly in realization. They nodded, remembering clearly that he had said that.

"Pardon me as well, but I'd like to ask—how did you release so much power from the Boosted Gear? As Kokabiel mentioned after you activated your Balance Breaker, we've known past wielders, but none have ever pushed it to this extent, especially when it's only been classified as a Mid-Tier Longinus," Gabriel asked, stepping forward toward Jiro.

"She's right. In fact, what we sensed felt eerily similar to Ddraig himself—before we chopped him up during the Great War," Azazel added, stepping up beside the Archangel.

Jiro smirked with a hint of pride as Ddraig's voice echoed from his right hand.

"(That's because of what Jiro is now, Gabriel and Azazel. The Boosted Gear was ranked mid-tier because your father, the God of the Bible, sealed away large portions of my power, limiting its capabilities. However, after I assimilated Jiro into a dragon—his true form now, Dragon Force—those restrictions were lifted. And after honing his skills to this level, the Sacred Gear has surpassed even a High-Tier Longinus.)" Ddraig explained, shocking everyone present—especially the faction leaders.

"You heard him. Looks like I broke your little system," Jiro remarked, chuckling with pride.

"You removed the seal our Father placed on Ddraig's power?! I can hardly believe it," Gabriel murmured, covering her mouth in disbelief.

"Well damn. You really are a force of nature, kid," Azazel added, just as stunned.

"It's no wonder you were able to overwhelm Kokabiel. I can only imagine the power of a Heavenly Dragon unleashed without restriction," Sirzechs said with a faint nervous smile.

"You got that right. But don't just glaze me now—they deserve some credit and praise too," Jiro said, gesturing back to his team.

The faction leaders chuckled, pleased to see that Jiro, despite his immense power, still remained humble. They then stepped forward to greet the representatives of their respective factions and offer their congratulations.

"You children all fought bravely and skillfully against your formidable opponents. Your determination was admirable. I am proud of you all," Sirzechs said to Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, and Ravel, his expression warm and approving.

Rias and the student council bowed gratefully, feeling relieved and proud that the Devil King recognized their efforts.

"Thank you, brother. Your words mean a lot to us. We're honored you've taken the time to acknowledge our hard work," Rias said with a smile.

"Great going out there, Raynare. You fought bravely alongside Rias and Akeno. Your combat skills were impressive, and you held your own remarkably well," Azazel said, patting her on the back.

"Thank you, Azazel. That means a lot coming from you. They've been a guiding force for me, and it was an honor to fight beside them," Raynare replied, nodding appreciatively.

"Irina, you fought with great courage and wielded Ascalon exceptionally. And Xenovia, your mastery of Excalibur Destruction was a sight to behold. The strength, teamwork, and resolve you both displayed were truly admirable," Gabriel said, smiling warmly—deliberately omitting Freed's name, sensing it was still a sensitive topic.

"Thank you, Lady Gabriel. Your kind words mean the world to us," Irina said, bowing respectfully.

"Indeed. We're honored by your recognition and support," Xenovia added, mirroring Irina's gesture.

"Hey now, don't forget about Asia, who helped everyone by enchanting them and healing their wounds with her Sacred Gear after the fights," Jiro said, stepping beside the former nun in question and patting her head.

"Ah, of course. How could we forget little Asia and her invaluable magic? Her Sacred Gear's healing powers and enchantments are truly remarkable. And you look adorable in your Mage Cleric attire," Gabriel said, joining Jiro and also patting Asia's head.

"Indeed. Asia played a crucial role in post-battle recovery. Her support was absolutely invaluable," Sirzechs said kindly.

"Exactly. Enchanters are rare these days—great to have one on your side," Azazel added, arms crossed.

Asia, caught between nerves and gratitude, finally managed to speak.

"Um, th-thank you... for recognizing my contribution... It means a lot to me... and to the whole team..." she said in a timid voice, bowing as she tried to hide her nervousness in front of such powerful figures. Her expression reflected a blend of shyness and honor at being addressed by The Leader of Heaven, The Devil King, and The Governor General of The Fallen Angels.

Azazel stepped in front of the team and addressed them all.

"Bravo, my friends. You performed admirably in the face of danger and succeeded in stopping Kokabiel's scheme. Your bravery may have saved not only this town, but possibly the entire world. You deserve all the recognition and appreciation that comes your way," he said with sincere admiration, clapping.

The group nodded and smiled proudly, the weight of their effort and training finally being acknowledged.

"Don't mention it. Just make sure there aren't any more rogues running around in your faction, Azazel," Jiro joked.

"Ha! No more rogue threats, got it! I'll keep the fallen angels in line—no more surprises," Azazel chuckled.

"Oh, and here are the sealing talisman papers for the Excalibur fragments and Cerberuses," Rias said, walking up to Sirzechs and Gabriel. She handed the Excalibur papers to Gabriel and the Cerberus papers to her brother.

"Thank you, Rias. Hades will be able to rest easy when I return these," Sirzechs said, exhaling slightly.

"You can say that again, Zechs. That old bag of bones can finally get off my ass," Azazel added with a relieved grin.

"Fufufu. And Michael will be glad to know the swords are back in good hands. Thank you," Gabriel said with a bright smile.

Kiba then remembered something and stepped forward.

"Oh, I almost forgot. I took this when I defeated Dohnaseek," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the scouter Dohnaseek had dropped when he died.

Everyone turned to him, looking at the device curiously.

"Wait, Mittelt was wearing something like that when we fought her," Ravel said, with Koneko nodding in agreement.

"Oh yeah, Kalawarner was wearing one during our fight as well," Akeno added.

"And hers broke and fell off in the middle of the battle," Raynare followed up.

"I saw Valper Galilei wearing one too. What are those devices for, exactly?" Xenovia asked, stepping forward slightly.

"I'm not entirely sure, but Dohnaseek mentioned something about my power level increasing when he pressed this button," Kiba answered as he placed the device over his left ear and pressed the button.

A beeping sound came from the device as he looked around at the group, numbers appearing on the screen.

"I was right. This device seems to measure someone's power when you look at them," he continued, taking it off.

Their eyes widened slightly at his confirmation, and Jiro suddenly remembered something as well.

"Yeah, I remember Kokabiel wearing one too—before he took it off. He measured Asia's power level when she enchanted all of you," he commented.

"Interesting. I never knew a device like that even existed," Gabriel said, stepping forward for a closer look. Sirzechs did the same and added, "Me neither."

"Well, that's a crazy development. This thing is just begging to be researched further. I'll take it off your hands—tech is kinda my thing," Azazel said as he walked up and took the scouter from Kiba, examining it closely while the others nodded in agreement.

He then summoned a purple magic circle beneath his feet.

"Oh yeah, before I forget—I recorded all your fights, and they're blowing up with views. Looks like the entire supernatural world is about to know the name 'Biblical Vanguard'," he said mischievously.

Everyone blinked. "Huh?"

"Anyway, it's been a pleasure. Until next time—keep up the good work!" he called, waving as he teleported away.

They looked at the spot he left at for a few seconds in silence.

"Heh, heh, heh, that's Azazel for you. Now then, I suppose I should depart as well. The sooner I return these guard dogs to Hades, the better. Farewell, children," Sirzechs said, summoning a red circle and vanishing as well.

Gabriel turned to Xenovia.

"I should go too to deliver the Excalibur fragments to Michael. But before I leave, Xenovia, I have a few matters to discuss with you. They concern your duties as an exorcist and your upcoming assignments. May I speak with you?" she asked kindly, but with authority.

"Of course, Lady Gabriel. What would you like to discuss? Please, proceed with what you wish to say. I am at your service," Xenovia replied, nodding.

"Thank you. The matter I wish to address is that your current duties are officially on hold, and you'll be staying here in Kuoh Town with the others," Gabriel said with a sly smile.

Xenovia blinked, visibly surprised by the Archangels statement. "I'll be living in Kuoh Town? With everyone else? What do you mean, milady?"

Gabriel giggled at her puzzled expression.

"As you are aware, your primary duties currently lie within the realm of combat. You have been performing your duties exceptionally well and have shown remarkable dedication to your role, especially in this mission. You helped to stop Kokabiel and fought brilliantly to prevent his scheme from occurring. And not to mention you seemed to have forged quite the strong bond with your teammates, and I'd hate to break that up and separate you from your friends. So, as a reward for your hard work, you're taking a break from your church duties. Enjoy your time here in Kuoh with your new friends. Is that understood?" Gabriel explained warmly.

Xenovia's expression softened into one of gratitude.

"You're granting me time off and allowing me to stay here? Yes, I understand. I accept. I'll treasure this time with my friends. Thank you, Lady Gabriel," she said, bowing deeply.

"Wonderful. I'll explain everything to Sister Griselda and Michael. No need to worry. Farewell, Biblical Vanguard," Gabriel said with a kind smile, summoning a golden magic circle and vanishing.

The group stared for a moment before Irina suddenly ran up and hugged Xenovia tightly.

"Well then, welcome to Kuoh, bluenette," Jiro said, smiling.

Irina: "Yeah! It's awesome having you here, Xenovia-chan!"

Raynare: "This definitely makes things more interesting."

Asia: "I'm happy to have a new friend with us!"

Rias: "We're delighted you're here. I know you'll enjoy your time in Kuoh."

Akeno: "Your presence will bring a refreshing change."

Kiba: "Hope you'll feel at home. And don't forget, we've still got that score to settle."

Koneko: "Totes."

Ravel: "We're happy to have you!"

Xenovia smiled, overwhelmed by their warmth and acceptance.

"Thank you, everyone. I'm grateful to be part of this team. This adventure has been incredible already. I look forward to spending more time with all of you," she said, slightly emotional.

"Now that our newcomer's been welcomed," Jiro said, clapping his hands, "I'd like to congratulate everyone on winning your first major battle as a team."

They all nodded, feeling proud of themselves.

"Way to go, team. We saved the city," Akeno added with a wink.

"Totes. Didn't think those crows would be so tough, but we're tougher," Koneko said, popping a lollipop into her mouth as the group laughed.

"Now then, let's go home. I think we all deserve a good night's sleep," Jiro suggested. As if on cue, the exhaustion from the night's battles hit them all at once.

"Yeah, a good night's sleep sounds perfect," Irina said, regaining her cheerful smile.

"Don't worry," Jiro added, "I won't put you back into serious training for a while. Like Gabriel said to Xenovia, you've all earned some rest. But I do expect some occasional practice. Got it?"

They all nodded again, some sighing in relief—especially Raynare. They joined hands, Irina grabbing Jiro's left and Rias placing her hand on his shoulder.

Jiro raised two fingers to his forehead—and with his Instant Transmission, the team vanished from the torn up battlefield, heading back to Kuoh Town to rest and recover from their hard-fought victory.

To Be Continued

And finally that's a wrap.

Phew! With this, we've finally reached the end of the Kokabiel Arc—and the conclusion of the Fallen Angels Saga as a whole. I hope you enjoyed reading through this wild ride, because I sure as hell enjoyed writing it.

We're now officially halfway through the second season of the anime, heading into the Summit Meeting Saga. This next saga will feature the team's first real training arc in a special location, followed by the summit meeting itself—which will also take place somewhere special.

Look forward to it, because I definitely am with what I've got planned.

See you there :)
