Chapter 1, "Just Another Day"
"agh—!"
With a hard slam against the tile wall, a teenager was pinned down. Forearm to the neck.
A group of other teenagers were surrounding him, the one pinning him had a smug look on his face.
"look— whatever i did, i'm sorry! just let me go! please..please, man. i'm begging you.." the boy tried to reason.
"here's the thing, we don't give a shit what you have to say. there's no going back, Cobra. you thought you could stand up to us? well come on then. say what you said before!" The leader of the group of bullies responded.
To which the other standing beside him voiced, "yeah, exactly. Jack's right. you think you could stand up to us & insult us? well come on then, keep that same energy."
Two others proceeded to snicker at Cobra's misfortune. Knowing he was about to get his ass kicked. Again.
"please..Jack,please.." Cobra begged.
After a moment of smirking, the leader of the group said something.
"tell you what..you're gonna do something funny. you make me laugh & i'll forgive you just this once. got it?"
To which Cobra immediately answered. With zero hesitation. "yes, Jack! okay, okay! you got it, man! anything you want!"
Jack gave a malicious grin. "good."
The scene suddenly cuts to Cobra on his knees in the bathroom stall, wiping his mouth. Tears running down his cheeks. He was lowered down to the toilet, sobbing, as the group of boys walk away from the stall. Laughing over what Cobra had done. Well..most were laughing. Aside from two.
"that wasn't very funny.." one of the boys said to the other. The two being the last to leave the bathroom, leaving Cobra behind.
"yeah..Jack's going too far..", the other said.
"what's with him, Yukine? this isn't like him..he was never like this before.."
"i don't know…the popularity's gone to his head..i'll have to talk to him." Yukine answers, sighing.
"i mean i know the guy was trying too hard to join our crew. & i know he's the new guy & a little weird because he was home schooled but that wasn't necessary. that was just.."
"look. Rykon. i said i'd talk to him, okay?" Yukine responds before the school bell starts ringing, prompting them both to look up. Yukine gave Rykon a glance before continuing. "let's just have lunch. maybe it'll help you calm down."
Lunch time in the cafeteria. Another group was by the line, getting their food on their respective trays.
"so got an idea on what we're gonna do later, Cameron?" a chubby brown haired teen asks the teen standing beside him, talking in a southern accent..
Cameron thought for a moment before answering, "we could meet up at the park & shoot some hoops. you boys down for a game?"
A remarkably obese teen answers in cocky fashion, "yeah i am. gonna mop the floor with you, Cameron."
A curly haired teen couldn't help but roll his eyes over this. "yeah, you're not gonna get tired & fall from running within three seconds.." he mumbled.
To which the obese teen gets loud, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?"
"alright, alright. Jon. Alan. cool it, you guys. save it for the court." Cameron spoke sternly, to which the two nod in silence.
"i'll record this! it's gonna be awesome!" A teen in a wheelchair said, a small smile on his face. His name is Sam.
The southern teen can't help but chuckle. "it's gonna be lit, man. by the way, is Calvin gonna be joining? or is he still.." He asks Cameron, a little skeptical for some reason.
Cameron paused for a moment before answering. "he's still..well, i think it's best we give him some room to breathe for a little while longer."
A very squeaky & high pitched voice came up. Coming from a boy who was standing beside Sam. He looked far younger than the others. One would assume him to be in middle school at the latest. He hasn't even hit puberty. "he's probably drunk out of his mind or really stoned. probably both."
"Vegeku! shut up! you know better than to talk like that. especially since he'll kick your ass if he were to know about it. he doesn't like you enough as it is." Cameron warned.
Vegeku sighed under his breath, making Alan smirk.
The cafeteria would eventually become packed with students, lots of tables being filled. Plenty of friend groups engaging in conversation, some eating. Some on their phones, which of course they had to be sneaky with as some would get caught & find their phones being confiscated by watchful teachers.
A blonde wearing glasses would make his way into the cafeteria. His eyes baggy, the teenager slouching as he approached a table very sluggishly. Sitting down, he sighed to himself.
Minutes pass & eventually Jack's group arrive. Finding a table, Jack spoke to his number two; Jinx.
"so you gonna make a move or what? you've been playing the long game for a while now, dude." Jack snickered, causing Jinx to laugh.
"it's good, man. Len's gonna be mine soon. hell, her man ain't even here today." Jinx replies, the two laughing some more.
Sitting at the same table were other member's of Jack's crew. Prince, a teenager with a thin build but he's known for doing Jack's homework. And Kevin, the muscle of the group.
Among the chatting, Calvin felt he was being watched. The crowd noise was already bugging him..but when he caught Vegeku staring at him, that made his blood boil. With a deep inhale, he slammed both his hands down on the lunch table. Getting up from his seat, he started to walk to Vegeku's table.
Realizing he was about to deal with an angry Calvin, a terrified Vegeku started to get up. "ohfuckohfuckohfuck—"
"you little FUCKIN' shit!" Calvin yelled as he swung on Vegeku, punching him in the cheek. Vegeku immediately dropping to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Picking him up by the collar, Calvin lifts Vegeku with ease & SLAMS him onto the table!
"CALVIN! STOP!" Cameron shouted. The southern teen got up to stop the fight before being shoved down by Calvin. Who only needed one arm to get rid of him.
Everyone immediately took notice of what's going on, the confrontation gaining the attention of everyone present in the lunchroom.
Slamming his fist down on Vegeku's chest multiple times, Calvin drags the teen against the table before throwing him off of it.
"FUCK!" Vegeku shouts.
Not finished with him, Calvin ordered Vegeku to stand. "GET UP, YOU LIL SHIT! I'VE ABOUT HAD IT WITH YOU!"
As Vegeku came to a stand, Calvin threw several haymakers on him. Beating the absolute shit out of Vegeku. Many students surround the two, watching the beatdown occur with phones in their hands. Capturing this on video. Plenty of teachers tried to interfere, but they were struggling to get past the massive crowd.
Vegeku was helplessly getting beaten down. Calvin not stopping in his ruthless assault.
"CALVIN! calm the fuck down! you don't have to do this to him!" Cameron tried to get his friend to stop, to no avail.
"fuck off, Cameron! this lil shit had this coming for a long, long time! agh!" Calvin yells as he punches Vegeku over & over.
"fuck yeah! kick some ass!" Jon cheered, getting so hyped up he threw his meaty arms out, flailing them around. Accidentally elbowing Jack, causing him to hit the floor.
This made Jack's friends assault Jon. Kevin tackling him to the ground, Prince & Jinx kicking Jon once he hit the floor.
Before you know it, a riot ensued. Lots of teenagers shoving each other, throwing random fists. The teachers struggling to restore order.
Rykon & Yukine got away from their group, knowing they'd face some serious consequences if they participated. "i'm not ruining my record!" Yukine says to Rykon.
Two teachers finally got to Calvin, attempting to pull him off. But Calvin responded, elbowing a teacher in the face & throwing the fully grown man down to the ground. When the other teacher grabbed Calvin by the neck, the agitated student punched him in the gut & shoved him to the ground as well. Even kicking him down.
Grabbing Vegeku by the back of his head, Calvin pulled him back & delivered merciless blows to his gut.
It took multiple teachers to restrain Calvin, holding him down on the floor as other teachers & the coach had to stop the other students. Whistles blowing loudly, plenty of students shouting in a riot.
Eventually the chaos came to a stop..
Little did everyone know, the real horror was about to begin..
