Rear Admiral Helena Cain stared in shock at the mass of ships in the distance even as the DRADIS operator called out "DRADIS contacts counting thirty seven ships 210 Karom 190" an alert sounded as the contacts began to multiply "their launching vipers….and unknown fighters."

Before Cain could even order the launch of their own Vipers Lieutenant Ashi Hoshi spoke up "Ma'am we are being hailed from the lead ship identified as the Posiden BS-58."

Cain narrowed her eyes and nodded "put it through. And launch vipers." into her transmitter she said "This is Rear Admiral Helena Cain of the Battlestar Pegasus identify yourself." she said watching the DRADIS screen multiply as her Vipers launched "or be fired upon."

"This is Admiral Jack Grey of the Poseidon and commander of Task force Eagle."the man identified himself "Rear Admiral Cain and your command staff are relieved of command if there are any marine or security forces aboard this is a direct order from not only President Eliezabeth Horner but Empress Celea of Virgon for the murder of Colonial and Virgonese citizens, destruction of private property and kidnapping."

Cain let her hand drop to the pistol on her hip as she responded "those are unfounded charges with no evidence."she said looking around the bridge crew "who is this Horner? And this is a Colonial naval vessel that doesn't fall under the Empress command. Where is President Adar?"

"Scylla is our Proof and once your crew and unwilling enlistees testify i know the charges will only increase Adar Died in the bombings Horner was sworn in so you will follow mine and her orders to stand down or die." Grey informed her

Cain was about to respond when two men she and pulled off their civilian ships to serve in the war effort jumped up and ran towards her in a quick motion her pistol was up and she squeezed the trigger twice putting a bullet into both men's chest "attempted Mutiny in a time of war is punishable by death." she said her eyes looking around for anyone else activating the wireless she said "then Horner isn't the true president of the people making her entire rule nothing more than an illegitimate coup. And I won't follow the orders of the illegitimate government. Let us continue the war under my command and keep pushing the toasters back from our worlds."

As she watched the Posiden fired her maneuvering thrusters pitching her alligator head downward and then she noticed the strange weapons three on the ships spine just behind the raised head and another on each of the flight pods. "You have forty-five seconds to recall your vipers and signal your surrender or we will open fire on you." Grey said his voice was still as cold as space and then the strange weapons fired."

She couldn't even see the shell's path were they blanks intended to bluff her into surrender? And then the damaged control officers spoke up "we have damaged their shells and grazed the hull fourteen secondary batteries offline." another spoke up "thirteen point defense guns are gone the shells tore the barrels off." "Seventeen missile silo doors are unresponsive; it's like a shockwave deformed the doors or rattled the opening mechanisms."

They all spoke as one "dispatching damage control parties"

Cain internally swallowed In a single warning shot from those strange weapons they had disabled or destroyed a third of the Pegasus weapons "how long to launch the remaining vipers?" she asked her voice steady by her own resolve.

"Second wave of vipers launching now." came the reply.

Cain watched as the second wave of her Vipers rocketed into space she knew the third and final wave were being loaded into the launch tubes at this very moment the fighters were still outnumbered 4-1 but they were used to that by this point the last wave would lower it to 3-1.

"Fifteen seconds Pegasus comply or we will destroy you." came Greys last warning.

Cain looked to Lieutenant Robert Philips "target the Poseidon with the forward battery and lock missiles on as many of their fighters as you can."

Robert said "Aye ma'am without hesitation and waited for her to turn back to her station before swiveling in his chair drawing the pistol he was allowed to carry being a original member of Pegasus crew aimed it at the back of her retreating head, breathed a quiet breath and pulled the trigger.

The bridge crew watched in shock as Rear Admiral Helena Cain's lifeless body fell to the deck, the gunshot still echoing inside the bridge.

Robert let the smoking pistol fall from his hands "Call the Poseidon as say we surrender, call the vipers in for a landing."

Colonel Jack fisk tore his eyes from the dead woman and nodded "he is right we can go home."

The bridge crew moved with a purpose as Helena listened, unable to move Traitors all of them she would have them s….

POV change

Colonel Jack Fisk raised the wireless "ALL Pegasus PIlots RTB i say again RTB Poseidon actual this is the XO.." He paused "Pegasus actual we surrender. I say again hold your fire."

"Wise choice Pegasus actually all officers are to be in the landing bay when our marines arrive." Poseidon replied. As the line went dead.

Fisk watched as the incoming mix of vipers and other fighters escorted the Pegasus vipers back to the flight pods. He watched as three dozen larger bulkier craft mixed in with Raptors launched and headed in their direction under escort from even more fighters. Their first wave had the Pegasus completely surrounded by his rough count of nearly nine hundred fighters.

As the raptors and the others made their final approach he headed down as the commander of the Pegasus. Jack walked into the massive hangar just as the transports landed and troops began pouring out. He stared at the strange weapons and armor they wore and his eyes locked onto flags on the shoulders of them, Caprica, Picon, Sagitarion, even some Gemonese.

Over the next hour the entire crew were placed in cuffs and transported to fill every brig in the fleet their information would be taken testimonies collected Pegasus computers were went over with a fine toothed comb. Inside the Pegasus brig a model six cylon was found on the verge of death, signs of sexual and physical abuse clear.

Admiral Jack Grey himself upon hearing what had happened visited her seeing the disheveled and broken look in her eyes he had ordered the security footage be reviewed and every man who forced himself on her airlocked.

It took nearly a hour and half a dozen people rotating through the footage to find the eighty four men and two women who had sexually violated her, shuttled back to the pegasus and loaded into the primary freight airlock.

Jack grey stood in front of them disgust clear on his face as he looked over the seven rows of twelve "in the three months since this this war began i've seen some shit the humanoid cylons subjected to torture,beatings and even drug abuse. Those I would tolerate in a time of war if there was a purpose behind it, information to be gained but to do what some of you did caused several of my sailors and marines to puke in disgust and rage.

But to violate a female cylon in the ways that you did make me wonder if we deserve to win this war the cylons made our extermination a job the majority of them took no pleasure in it and because some of them like you did caused others to rebel including the one that you violated her sisters have been fighting and dying to protect what dignity they could of ours. And to come here and find out you were using one of them as a plaything if you look around you will notice some of your fellow crewmates that beat on her and attempted torture are not here thats beacause not a single one of them participated in the rape and molestation of the cylon.

Jack watched heads turn as they looked around. He waved and the female cylon in a wheelchair was pushed out, her bruises cleaned and bandaged, her skin cleaned from the forty minute shower under the hottest water she could handle.

Jack waved again and the airlock door slid shut between them looking through the windows he looked down at the woman now sporting a isolation necklace "miss Inveire on behalf of humanity i apologize for what these men and women did to you." he held out the remote for the airlock control "your sisters and the other rebels saved my wife and three children as well as so many others family and loved ones."

She looked hard at the control. "I'm sorry for what we were forced to do under the influence of the ones during the war. I wish we had been able to save more." She looks through the window and sees a mass of humans who had abused and used her for so long and smiled "but not these" she pressed the button and the pressurized airlock was vented to space pulling the eighty four out into space.

It was decided knowing the tragedy of what the pegasus wrought the ship would be scuttled no sailor would ever want to serve aboard her again and no ship would ever bare the name of Pegasus. All of the ships computers were downloaded and then left where they were. Back aboard the Poseidon with Gina as a observer the Battlestar tilted down again bringing the five Onagers to bear "Open fire."

The five weapons fired as one and the port flight pod detonated in a mass of debris and burning ordnance and fuel.

"Fire" he ordered again and the starboard pod likewise erupted into flame and debris.

"Fire." this time the five guns targeted the main body of the cursed battlestar and it went up like a string of fireworks as the magazines and tlyium bunkers detonated in a chain reaction the damange racing around the ship. Then the reactor having lost containment detonated and nothing larger then a longsword remained scattering through out space. No part of the curse that was the pegasus would ever be reused.

"Lets get back to Scorpia and bring the good news." ordered John as the fleet recovered their fighters and manuvered to return the debris already forgotten as they blinked away.

Authors note hey guys so theres the pegasus or should i saw was lol. To be honest i dont think once what the pegasus did became public knowlege no sailor or marine would willingly serve aboard her. So copies of the computers for trials of the crew.

And i know that Gina was a cylon so not techniclly a human but lets be real tourture beatings and drug abuse happens especialy if its time critical but rape especially what gina went through thats too far.

Shadow i see you and i was saving it but i hope you enjoyed how the Pegasus side came to a end.

Guest no problem and i did look them up they were some good shit really made me miss playing the battlestar galactica online game ;'( i led a squadron called the Virgon Royal Navy we had 76 members who would all get on at the same time so we could overwelm cylon players and their outpost it was a blast i just leared a few days ago there are private servers still up and running so im saving money to buy a laptop that can handle that awesomeness.

Astravega its a bit annoying i know but its part of building the world in BSG we saw muliple POVs from pilots to deck crew to marines if it was soley from a single point of view we would lose so much content look at the clone wars the reason the cartoon took off so much is we saw the fighting from dozens of POVs galaxy wide same thing with galactica think about how boring it would of been from the sole viewpoint of adama… but i hope you are enjoying the scatterbrained world im building xD
