They had gotten the house and it took them some time to settle into it. Really took some time getting used to living with each other. Before if they argued they could just leave and go back to their place. Now they weren't able to do that. They had to figure out how to work it out. The boys had a few arguments but it was able to be worked out once the situation cooled off.

What had made both Amanda and Olivia happy was the boys began to really trust them. It really got Olivia because her son had opened up and trusted Amanda. It made her so happy. He had been okay with Tucker. Tucker not really around much to interact with him, except when they had gone to Paris. Noah had gone through so much in his life and he just bonded with Amanda and Amanda him. It wasn't that fake bond either, it was that true bond with care and respect. She cared about him and his feelings just as Olivia cared about Brayden and his feelings. Olivia had taken the boys out to lunch one afternoon, she had wanted to spend some time with them. She was also planning a surprise for Amanda and wanted to see if the boys would help her. Her and Amanda had been together a year even with their on and off relationship. She wanted to know what the boys thought of what she wanted to do. Especially with her and Amanda's anniversary coming up. She took them to a burger joint.

Liv's Lunch With The Boys…

Olivia was nervous as shit to tell the boys what she was planning. But with that she also knew they would figure her out and or call her out on it. Ever since living together, Noah had started becoming more blunt just like his best friend, not in a rude way. Just a very matter-of-fact way.

So as they were eating Olivia decided it was now or never. Something she had learned from her girlfriend was to just tell what was on her mind even if she was blurting it out. Brayden looked at Liv, he could really see that she was struggling with something on her mind.

"Liv, I can see you have something on your mind. Just tell us. It can't be that bad."

Brayden looked at Liv, then at Noah and back to Liv. "We haven't been fighting since that last one. We have learned to talk it out and give each other space when needed. So it's not us."

Noah looked at his mom. He could see and feel her nervousness. "Mom, what is it? I know you and Amanda are really happy, especially with the new house. So what's going on?"

Olivia looked at both of them. They both wanted answers. She might as well tell them.

"Okay boys. My two boys. Yes you are pretty much my son Brayden as I have thought of you like that since your mom and I have been together and solid. Noah you are my son and this affects you too. Amanda and my anniversary is coming up. We will be a year together. I know I want to spend my life with Amanda. She makes me happy, you boys make me happy. Noah, she's been amazing with you ever since you have been in my life. She has never only come to see me when you have been in bed, or at school, or at dance. She has always been here. She has always wanted you around, and that means the absolute world to me. So what I am trying to say, well tell you. I am thinking of asking Amanda to marry me. I can't see myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else other than her. I want to know how you guys feel, or how this makes you feel."

Noah and Brayden looked at Liv. They both felt fine with this. It actually made them happy. Brayden smiled happily, "Olivia are you planning to do what I think you are? Cause it sounds like you are going to ask my mom to marry you." Noah looked at Brayden then Olivia "Yeah mom, it does sound like that. I can say that both of us think that this is a good idea. We both like the idea as well. So if that is what you are planning on doing, then both of us are all for this."

This made Olivia happy. Having the kids support really solidified her idea. Their anniversary coming up. She was going to plan a little weekend getaway for her and her girlfriend. She knew she could get Fin to take the boys for a weekend. Olivia looked at the boys. Happy that she was able to talk to them like this.

"Now please don't say anything to Amanda. You both helped me realize that I am making the right decision. Now here is a good question. Should I take her back to the Bahamas and do it there? Since that is where we cemented everything and Brayden you little shit I love you to death, I really do but don't go where I know you're going to go. This is new to me. I have never been married, let alone thought about wanting to marry someone. Of course I question if she even would want to marry me. Look how many times I got scared and ran. It did take both of you boys and even Fin to set me straight on what I was endanger of losing."

Brayden looked at Olivia. He really saw the love that Olivia had for his mom. Yes she had been afraid but she admitted what she did and she worked to get back Amanda's trust as well as his.

"Liv, yes my mind did go there. But in all seriousness I know what you are saying. Liv you have shown my mom what love is. You have shown her you are safe to love, and safe to be with. My sperm donor as I refer to him now, treated her like shit. You have been the best thing to come into her life in a long time. You took me on even when I was a shit. Hell you have put me in my place as well. You say my mom makes you happy, and it's obvious you make my mom happy. If you really want to ask her to marry you, you have my support. I'm all for it. I know Noah and I will have the best cheerleader moms at dance recitals."

After they got back from lunch Olivia began to think and plan a surprise weekend getaway for her and her girlfriend. She really liked the idea of going back to where it all came to them. Where everything was so easy and beautiful for a bit. That's right, the Bahamas.

Amanda got back shortly after. Thankfully Olivia had put her planning away. She was just making the reservations for the trip. She even went and got their room for the trip. It was going to be full of nostalgia and love. That's what she wanted. Brayden had told her to propose down there. Granted he wanted to be there to witness it, but he thought this would be more romantic this way.

They had dinner and then took the boys to their dance class. Now they had some time to themselves. Olivia looked at her girlfriend. She began kissing her cheek and then gently turned Amanda's face to hers and kissed her sweetly. "I love you Manda." Amanda smiled kissing her back and telling her she loved her too. Then since this was going to be a long dance class she took Liv's hands and lead her to the jacuzzi. Taking advantage of their time alone. Having that intimate time that they hadn't in a bit. It was nice and relaxing.

"So my love. Mandy, our anniversary is coming up. Is there anything special you have in mind to do? I want to make sure we have the best anniversary possible. I've already got some ideas that I am working on. I just want to make sure you get what is going to make you happy too."

Amanda cupped her loves face. "First off I love you too. So very much. As for what I want to do for our anniversary. I just want to spend it with the woman I love. The woman who has made me so happy and has just loved me." She then kissed Olivia sweetly.

They kissed and necked for a little while more. Then got out, got dressed and went to pick up the boys. More and more Olivia knew this was who she wanted to spend her life with. She knew that planning a proposal was the right thing to do. Now to find a ring, simple enough for Amanda but showing all the love she had for this woman.

"So Mandy, would you be okay if I wanted to take you away for the weekend of our anniversary? Just you and I? With this being our first, I want it to be very special and intimate."

Amanda looked at her. Tears in her eyes. "I'd love that. Just you and I celebrating our anniversary. That would mean the world to me."

It was settled. Just by those words. Olivia was going to go through with her planning. She felt it in her heart that this was her destiny.

So do you think Olivia taking Amanda back to where they really came together is the best idea to do the next part? Let me know...
