Chapter 2, "The Beginning"
As the Teachers & Assistant Principals worked to calm the rioting students down, Vegeku was taken to the nurse's office to have his wounds looked at.
As for Calvin, he was sent to the Principal's office. No doubt serious action was to be taken for him after what he did. He was likely to be expelled.
"man..he really did it this time..poor Vegeku..why did he even do that? Vegeku didn't even do anything this time.." The southern boy pointed out, sad over what just occurred moments ago.
"enough, Hunter. it's pointless to talk about it. it's already done." Cameron interrupts.
Alan put a hand on his hip, surveying the scene before him.
"this was gonna happen eventually. Calvin & Vegeku were never gonna get along."
Cameron sighed. He can't believe this. Most of his friends got along so well. But Calvin..he knew of the problems his friend had back home, not to mention the feud he had with Vegeku. But he didn't think it would've gotten THIS far.
Calvin was always known for being the most hot-headed in the group. But this was too much, even for him..
"hey, dude. you okay?" Jinx asks Jack. Helping him up from the floor.
"yeah..that fat fucker caught me off guard..son of a bitch.." Jack said in anger, holding his face.
"dude..uh, your nose.." Jinx points out.
Using his finger to wipe on his nose, he finds himself bleeding. Shocked, he tells Jinx to come with him. The two leaving the cafeteria.
"you okay, Jon?" Sam asks as Hunter & Cameron help the obese teen get up. It took a lot of effort but they managed eventually.
"i'm fine..bastards really jumped me. can't believe this.." Jon mentioned, groaning.
"who?" Hunter asked.
"Jack's group. his asshole friends ganged up on me over an accident. bunch of dicks." Jon explained, to which Cameron scoffed.
"they always beefing with somebody…look. Hunter. Jon. go check up on Vegeku. take Sam with you. forget class for a minute." Cameron ordered.
To which Hunter questioned him. "what about you?"
"i'll find Calvin…i'll talk to him." Cameron stated.
In one of the boy's bathrooms were Jack & Jinx. Jack had been staring into one of the mirrors by the sinks. Glaring at his bloody nose. He was so irate over this. Washing the blood away, he groaned in frustration.
"that fat fucker..when i get my hands around his throat.." Jack mumbled. Turning to Jinx, he spoke once more. Much clearer.
"get the boys. & bring his ass over here. NOW."
In the Principal's office sat Calvin, slumped over on one of the chairs. Tapping his foot, not speaking a word. He had just received a mouthful from the Principal but he didn't care. He had enough of the school anyway.
The Principal wasn't with him anymore, having been called away by one of the Assistant Principals.
"What's the matter?" The head of the school asked.
"it's the news..something wrong is going on..you have to look at this..it's the strangest thing.." one of the teachers in the lounge said to him. Showing him what was on the television.
As Hunter, Jon & Sam walked down the hallway, well on their way to the Nurse's office, they were stopped by Prince, Yukine & Rykon.
"what do you guys want?" Hunter asked, obviously not in the mood to deal with them. Not after what they did to Jon earlier.
"yeah? here to cause some more issues? because this time we're on an even playing field." Jon says to them.
"this ain't Xenoverse 2, you fat shit. we just want to talk, alright?" Yukine says to him.
"yeah..we don't want to fight you. we just gotta get this straightened out. no issues here." Prince said, backing Yukine up. Rykon standing by in silence.
"you believe them?" Sam asks his friends, looking at Hunter for an answer.
"i don't know..if they wanted to start a fight, they would've.." Hunter responds.
"because we don't. look, we don't have any issue with you guys. Jack just wants to talk to Jon & try to patch things up. i swear, there won't be more issues." Yukine said to them, seeming honest here.
"i trust Jack & you guys should too. he's not a bad guy that you guys think he is. see for yourself, Jon." Yukine continued, to which Prince gave a nod.
After a moment of thinking amongst themselves, Jon spoke up.
"whatever. i'm not scared of him anyway. i'll go ahead & see what he has to say. you guys can go check on Vegeku."
Hunter seemed a little hesitant, but he chose to trust their word on this. He hoped they wouldn't try to hurt Jon more than they already did.
"okay..let's go, Sam." Hunter said, the two turning & going on ahead. Leaving Jon with the company of the three.
& so they went to the bathrooms.
Cameron was close to the Principal's office. He knew his conversation with Calvin could go south real quick. But he was his friend. He felt he needed to show he was there for Calvin. Especially during his darkest moments.
But as he got closer, plenty of the school staff ran throughout the hall in panic. A confused Cameron halted in his movements, startled by the intercom.
ATTENTION, STUDENTS & FACULTY STAFF. PHILLIPS HIGH IS NOW IN LOCKDOWN. STUDENTS, PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOMS & REMAIN SEATED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. I REPEAT, PHILLIPS HIGH IS NOW IN LOCKDOWN.
& with that, the intercom went off.
Cameron stood there in confusion. What was going on?
Hearing this announcement, Yukine listened intently. Taking this very seriously. Unlike his peers, who were more focused with what was about to happen in the bathroom.
"what do you want, Jack?" Jon asked Jack, who was standing in front of the sinks. Jinx leaning against the counter as he watched on.
Kevin was also present, glaring Jon down. Every single one of Jack's boys were there.
"you gonna say something or what?" Jon asked, raising his voice a little. "is this about earlier? i'm sure that's what's on your mind, right?"
"you fucking FATASS..who the fuck do you think you are?" Jack finally spoke, speaking with anger.
This upset Jon. Who immediately stepped up, ready to fight. "you wanna throw down? huh?"
Tensions were high between the two. Just itching to attack one another. Ready to go. But Jack was so much smaller than Jon. Would he really attempt to start a fight with him?
Being on his own, it was easy for Jon to be ganged up on. Kevin restraining him so Jack can start swinging.
But that's not what Jack did.
Yukine & Rykon looked on in complete shock for what Jack was about to do.
Pulling a switchblade out of his pocket, Jack opened it up & stabbed Jon in the gut! Surprising even his own peers. But that's didn't stop them from pulling Jack away. Kevin didn't even loosen the hold he had on Jon.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Yukine shouted. Rykon standing in complete shock over this.
"THIS'LL TEACH YOU NOT TO MAKE ME BLEED YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Jack shouts in anger, pulling his knife back & stabbing him again & again. Over & over. Blood pouring down from the teen's stomach. A pool forming quickly.
Kevin finally let go, allowing Jon to stumble backward, his hand holding his wound. Gasping for air. His back eventually meeting the bathroom wall, he placed his hand on the wall. Leaving a bloody handprint there. Slowly, he sank to the floor.
Hunching over, his face slowly became lifeless.
"Jack? what the FUCK is wrong with you?! guys— guys, what the fuck?" Yukine shouts at his friends, unable to comprehend what had just occurred.
Rykon didn't know what to say. He couldn't believe it. His eyes stared at Jon then right at Jack.
"the fat fuck had it coming, alright?!" Jack yelled back, looking at Yukine before glancing at Jon. He breathed in & out, smiling proudly over what he had just done.
"this isn't right..this isn't fucking right!" Yukine went on. "we have to turn ourselves in or something! we can't just walk away from this! fuck.."
"NO! we can't say shit! if we'll do, we're going the fuck to jail! we have to leave right now & leave this alone! all of us." Jack said with a glare.
This made Rykon stare at him. Now coming to the realization that one of his closest friends was a monster.
"are you crazy? dude— do you not understand what you just did?!" Yukine berated.
"shut up already! quit your bitching & just listen to him." Jinx spoke up, causing Yukine to turn his attention to him.
"i don't even wanna hear anything from you. all you are is his sidekick. a lackey." Yukine shot back.
As the group argued amongst themselves, Jon's corpse remained motionless.
Or so it appeared.
A light twitch was made from his hand.
