Chapter 4: I Was Scared of an Old Legend:
My name is Kamatari. My parents are Yuri and Katsura. I heard this old legend about a ghost woman who would steal the souls of those who make fun of her, and I was always scared of running into her. Even now while I'm a teenager.
"Well, I gotta get to work," says Dad.
"Me too," says Mom.
When they were in high school, Mom was always bullied by Akane. She also dated Akane's brother, Akamatsu, but then found out Akamatsu was also dating her friend, Karin. Dad then told Akamatsu off and he and Mom began dating. Dad now runs this big company and Akamatsu and Akane both work for him and Mom's a baker.

I was walking through the streets, scared of the ghost woman. I then thought I saw something, and I screamed and ran away.
...
I decided to tell my parents the truth… and they laughed.
"I'm the ghost woman," says Mom.
"Wha—"
"After I found out Akamatsu cheated on me, I got so angry," says Mom, "I ended up scaring Akane, so everyone thought I was a ghost who would go after anyone that made fun of me! And that's how the legend began!"
I was relieved. To think, this whole time, I was scared of my mom! Also, the thing that spooked me turn out to be Megan, this American girl I like. Megan has warm amber eyes and matching amber hair. he is wearing a denim jacket over a soft-colored top, fitting her warm and approachable personality.

And now a new legend is born, one about a ghostly boy who would scream and then run off.
