She returned my smile and mouthed "tomorrow," i smiled and nodded my head in acknowledgment We entered the gatehouse of Summerlands. Charlie greeted us while sitting at his desk. "Good evening, Fae. Oh, and Maahes," he said. "Hi, sir. How are you?" We then went to the store, where I bought all the ingredients needed to make an Egyptian stew and also the rest of the ingredients required to bake a cake, including dates.After double-checking the recipe, I put my crockpot in the oven to slow roast. The cake was already in the fridge, so I took the opportunity to take a shower and finish cleaning. Before I knew it, I found myself sitting in my window nook, reading a book.It was the glorious smell that brought me back to my surroundings from my bookI headed to make sure all was well in the oven, after checking the tenderness of the meat I turned the oven down as low as I could and placed the pot back inside.I had just put the kettle on when I heard a knock"The second I opened it, Mi's lips were on mine. "I have thought about kissing you again all day, I'm sorry." Before he could say any more, I pulled his lips to mine. This time, I parted my lips, using my tongue to ask for permission to enter his mouth. He obliged, and I felt my feet moving. I heard the door close, but I was lost. My eyes closed the second my tongue made contact with his. I was in heaven, or the Summerlands."We broke awayPlease tell me that is how you will greet me whenever I come over.I will treat you like that always i smiled and dragged him into the living room and onto the sofa to watch the movie he choseWe snuggled together the blanket covering us. Mi had his feet up on a stool I had lingering around.The movie was halfway through, and what smells amazingOh, I forgot about the food, I jumped up, paused the movie, and ran for the kitchen.Mi come and sit down in the kitchen and we can eatHe walked in. All I need you to do is take a seatWhen you are seated my dear I will sit.I placed the stew and extra veggies on the table and took my seatMi being the gentleman he is pushed my seat in for me.I took off the lid of the stew pot letting the scent of the food fill the space"I love the smell of this," he said with a smile as I served the food into large bowls. I wanted to make something you would enjoy and something that might be familiar to you, so I found a recipe for an Egyptian stew.""I haven't had a stew like this in countless years.
