Chapter 46: Two Perspectives

Slade laughs. "Kit," he says, "attack them now!"
Kit doesn't say anything. He focuses first on Twilight. Twilight shoots a magic beam from her horn. Kit blocks the attack with his arm.
"Oh no!" Twilight gasped.
But instead of going directly at Twilight, Kit ignores her and goes straight for his rival, Mario the Sonic Plush instead.
Mario growls. "You sure picked the wrong day to side against us, Kit!"
Kit ignores his words as he lands an uppercut to Mario's neck. Mario is sent flying backwards, into a bunch of garbage cans. Mario gets up, furious and tries to tackle Kit, but Kit dodges at the precise moment. Kit grabs Mario by his shoulder and slams his face first to the ground.
Kit elbows Mario's back causing him to fall down just as he is getting up. When Mario tries again, Kit does a swift kick to Mario's face. Kit proceeds to take off his belt and wrap it around Mario's neck. Dragging him through the concrete ground like a disobedient dog, Kit ties Mario up to a street pole.
Kit cracks his knuckles, and prepares to go to work pounding Mario to a pulp. However, just as Kit is about to land the first of many crushing blows, Mario roars with rage and pushes Kit away with a timed kinetic blast.
Twilight rushes over to Mario's aid. Kit gets up, barely with a scratch. Kit glares at Mario, Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Eliza before walking away. Celestia has a look of disgust on her face. Luna is shocked. Kit walks past Slade and vanishes into a dark alley. Slade begins to wonder. Eliza, worried, desperately runs to find Kit.
After a long while of searching, Eliza finds Kit, standing there with a smoke in his hands. "Kit. What is going on? Tell me right now. Why are you working for–"
Kit throws the cigar butt to the ground and stomps on it. "Listen to me. I'm not working for Slade."
"Then why did you attack Twilight and Mario?" asked Eliza.
"I only did it to make Slade think I was on his side. Unless he knows I'm planning to betray him later on…"
Kit sighed. "Get in my car, I'll explain more."
Kit and Eliza hop inside the 1969 Dodge Challenger and drive off.

Later, Kit parks the car at an empty parking lot. Eliza looks at Kit confused.
"Eliza, I have to get closer to him so I could expose his secret plans to destroy Equestria."
"Wow," Eliza replied. "Are you sure he doesn't know you're planning to betray him?"
"I've played it safe. I don't think I gave away anything that made him suspicious of me. I did what he asked. Even if it was horrible."
"Eliza," Kit continued, "please trust me to do the right thing. If I can expose Slade sooner rather than later, Equestria will remain safe."
Eliza pats Kit on his shoulder. "I trust you enough. I would never leave your side, ever."
Kit smiles. "Thanks."

Later in the day, Celestia is holding an emergency meeting at her palace with Luna, Twilight, Eliza, and of course, Prince Mario. Celestia is fuming at the fact that Kit may be a traitor and is undermining her efforts to protect Equestria from harmful and dangerous threats, both outside and domestic.
"Listen to me, you all. Kit is a traitor. We saw him with that monster, Slade. I suggest Kit should be dealt with and detained for questioning in Tar–"
Celestia is cut off by Eliza. "Kit is NOT A TRAITOR!" she yelled. "Kit isn't working for Slade, even if it may have seemed that way earlier."
"Eliza," Celestia said glaring at her, "Whether you would like to admit this or not, I have no doubt he and Slade pose significant threats to national security. There's no doubt in my mind that whatever he and Slade are planning to do will doom us all."
"Please, Celestia, listen to her," Luna argued, "She is right. Kit is not actually working for Slade. I believe he is planning to betray Slade later on."
"I swore I saw the look in Kit's eyes. He clearly didn't want to attack me or the prince Mario." said Twilight.
"Yeah. I found it weird that he didn't attack Twi, because she was exposed to an attack! He went after me instead. I also saw the look in his eyes, like a look of regret, like he didn't wanna blow his cover." Mario added.
"He still came after you. And anyone who goes after the prince, should be punished swiftly." Celestia snarled.
"You are wrong!" said Eliza fuming. "I know Kit! I know him better than you do. He would never turn his back on his friends like that."
"Right now," Luna began, "Slade is the real enemy, and we all need to come up with a plan to defeat him before he causes any more trouble."
Celestia, Luna, MTSP, Twilight and Eliza nodded in agreement.
"Very well, then." said Celestia.

Slade's Equestrian Lair
Underground Cave in Canterlot
Meanwhile, back in Slade Wilson's cave, Slade holds in his hand a device. A piece of technology that could summon portals from everywhere, throughout the whole multiverse.
He chuckles. His eyes are glowing red.
"I might as well start. My plan will come to fruition. Grogar would be so proud of me now…" he said
He then presses a button on the device. He opens the portal to another world.
Slade's hands are glowing a dark blue and his mask eye holes begin to glow red. He is gaining the power of Grogar.
The portal opens up and it appears to be the Pokemon world. Earth 14.

The next day. Kit is wandering around town. He is disgusted at how Princess Celestia could ever think of him as a traitor, but he remains calm.
He is near a dark cave, where Slade Wilson built his lair in Equestria.
However, Kit spots a portal opening.
He scratches his chin.
"Hmm..looks like I can check this out. See what the old man has done." Kit said, as he steps in the portal.
Unknown to him, Mario The Sonic Plush is in the same area too.
MTSP also sees the portal. He sees his rival, Kit, climbing inside of it.
"I am going to go follow him. I'm curious.", said MTSP

Earth 14, Pokemon World
Pallet Town, Kanto Region
Kit looks around at the place. It feels different. There are small and large creatures of various colors, shapes and sizes accompanying people.
"Hmmm….this reminds me so much of Super Monster Wars for the Gamefreak X." Kit thought.
As he walked across town, he heard a familiar voice from behind his back.
"Wait up, Kit!"
Kit turns around to see Mario the Sonic Plush. Kit is worried. "Oh crap. Mario! I'm sorry. Listen….I didn't have a cho–"
MTSP pats Kit on the shoulder. "I know you, Kit. I don't think you would actually work for someone as evil and garbage as Slade."
Kit sighs and scratches the back of his head. "Thanks for reassuring me."
MTSP just gives a thumbs up
They see an old man who parked his red Corvette moments earlier. He goes inside his store. Kit and Mario have looks of curiosity on their faces.
"Maybe this is a guy who can show us around." Kit says.
"Yeah. Let's go see him." replied the prince.
When Kit and Mario walk into the store, they see various small creatures and on the front counter is a strange looking bird in a cage.
"Hello. What can I do for you two?" the old man asked.
"Um…. we're trying to figure out what this place is. You seem like the guy who could help us out."
Mario looks at Kit for a moment. "Do you not know what this is?!"
"What?" asked Kit.
"We're in Pokemon, Kit. This is a Pokemon lab run by none other than–"
"Professor Oak," the old man finished. "You two don't seem familiar around here. I take it you must be far away travellers. Are you here to become Pokemon trainers? You've come to the right place, then. I have everything you need to start your journeys."
"Right." said Kit.
"This is cool! We're going to become Pokemon trainers? For real?!" Mario said excitedly.
"This is just a ripoff of that game I was playing when I was 7! My foster parents told me Pokemon was a ripoff and I got the real deal." replied Kit, annoyed.
Professor Oak comes back with three shiny, two toned red and white Pokeballs. "Inside these Pokeballs are creatures that will help you begin your Pokemon adventure."
Kit and Mario inspect the Pokeballs closely.
"In one of these balls is Charmander, a fire-type Pokemon. In one of these balls is Bulbasaur, a grass-type Pokemon. And finally, in one of these balls is Squirtle, a water-based Pokemon. Choose wisely, you two."
Kit and Mario stare for a while. "I guess I'll have the one in the middle, then," said Kit. So Kit grabs the middle pokeball and he feels something funny inside of it. Suddenly, the ball opens and lets out….a green scarfed Pikachu?!
"YAAAAAAAAAAY!" the Pikachu screams so loudly that it hurts everyone's ears. Professor Oak stares in shock. Kit and Mario stick their thumbs in their ears.
"Is this Charmander? He's already annoying!" groans Kit.
The Pikachu looks up at Kit. "BOLT!" the Pikachu yells again. He blows a raspberry and makes funny faces at Kit, and even slaps his yellow butt in front of Kit.
Prince Mario laughs. "Oh well, I'll take this one then."
Mario grabs the pokeball to the right and he lets out a Charmander, with a blue scarf. "Hello, sir! My name is Jake! It's a pleasure to meet you." said Jake the Charmander.
"IT TALKS?!" Professor Oak says before fainting to the floor. Kit and the prince stare at him.
"Uh….yeah. We better get going, then. See you later, Professor!" says Mario as the two leave with their pokemon pets.
Mario, Jake, Kit and Bolt find themselves on a nice walk around the forest. There, they can see cute little Pokemon hanging around the trees. A basket of berries falls on Kit's head. Kit looks up and sees a Chimchar laughing. Kit growls and throws a rock at him using a slingshot. It misses and Chimchar blows a raspberry before climbing down the tree.
Bolt laughs. "You're soaked in berries! Yummy! Can I lick you?"
"Wait a minute. Did you just talk to me?" Kit asked.
"Yeah! So what, you big orange bonehead? I can talk! I don't need your permission, silly foxy boy." Bolt says, proceeding to irritate Kit some more.
Kit clenches his fist tightly and gives Bolt a big evil glare with his glowing red eyes. "Bolt," Kit says in a mysterious and dark tone, "if that is your name, you little twerp….I will kill you, but only if you don't SHUT UP!"
"Okie dokie," says Bolt after a long, awkward silence.
Jake laughs. "Hey. Don't mind him. He can be very funny and annoying like that."
"So," Mario asks, "you and Bolt can talk for some reason?"
Jake nods. "Yeah, which kind of explains why we got…" he proceeds to sniff, "...abandoned. I'm gonna need you two to sit down for this one."
"YAAAAAAY! STORY TIME, STORY TIME, STORY TIME, STO–"
Kit grabs Bolt by his little yellow furry head. "Shut….up."
Kit, Mario, Bolt and Jake sit down on the grass. Jake looks at everyone awfully sad and depressed. Kit and Mario are confused. "So tell us, what happened? Why were you two abandoned? I mean, besides having the magical ability to talk." asked Mario.
"Here it goes…" Jake sighs. "Me and Bolt used to be on our own before we had a trainer. Just us two, and not a care in the world. But on one fateful day, while we were minding our own business eating berries in the forest, we were attacked by an Ekans. We were almost….you know, before someone saved us. We were poisoned and hurt badly, and had to be taken to the emergency room. I remember the trainer's face so well. He seemed genuinely concerned for us at first. He seemed like a nice kid with his spiky blonde hair. He even let us out of the pokeballs to enjoy the nice summer air. But something changed about him. Like, he didn't want us anymore….I remember it clearly, when he found an Eevee. He gave him a moon stone and it turned into an Umbreon. That's when he stopped caring about us. He also had a Sylveon and a Jolteon who picked on us. Then the three beat us up while we were sleeping in the middle of the night. We ran away but then the trainer caught us and he looked very mad."
"Huh? What the?" said Kit.
"Oh no! What happened next?" asked Mario.
"I was getting into that." sighed Jake. "Anyway, the real kicker that led to us being abandoned was….when Bolt snapped. He just snapped. Literally snapped at the trainer. Called him a moron. A pathetic joke. An abusive butthole. All kinds of things. Then the trainer slammed him into a tree, and then he tossed me in a trashcan."
Mario and Kit gasped.
"Dude, that's….Jeez, that is awful." said Kit.
"What the? That's no way to treat any Pokemon!" Mario growls.
Jake looks down. "I don't think Bolt remembers any of that night. I do…but I wouldn't wanna remind him of it. It's too awful for me to say."
Kit gets up. "Alright. Maybe you can tell me more about this pathetic and idiotic loser so I can find him so I can beat his stupid a–"
Bolt farts loudly. "Oopsies!"
Mario, Jake and Kit nearly puke from the stench.
"Did he just crap himself?!" said a disgusted Mario with his face as green as the grass in the forest.
"EEW! YUCK! Bolt! What did you eat?" said Jake, trying to blow away the dreadful stench with his tail.
Bolt's stench knocks out a few poor Pokemon in the area. "Ex-squeeze me guys," Bolt says chuckling. "I love fish tacos!"
"I….hate….fish." Kit faints.
"Awww. Poor fox guy. I think we should get him admitted to the hospital." said Jake
"Nah. He'll be fine." MTSP said, with a shrug.
"Okay. If you say so." Jake said
Bolt continues yapping and running around Kit's body while he is on the ground.
Kit slowly gets up off the ground and groans.

(Meanwhile…
Back in Equestria)
Ponyville 5:00 PM
A dark orange, edgy fox with a pink scar on his right eye, an "S" symbol on his forehead, a buckle, a watch, a black undershirt and ripped blue jeans is flying on a jetpack throughout Equestria.
He looks very similar to Kit to where he could be mistaken for him.
He chuckles.
He looks at his watch, which is actually a communicator. A device.
He presses a button and Slade appears there.
"Zerox. Remember what I told you to do? Finish what Kit had started since he was too lazy to finish the job and I am starting to suspect that he will betray me." said Slade
"Yeah. So? You already told me what I have to do?! I already know." said the fox, who is named Zerox.
"You will do as I say! Listen to me again. You got that?!" shouted out Slade
Zerox nods.
"Good. Your initial assignment is where Kit had left off. Fight those pathetic wastes of life, especially that Prince, his girlfriend, and their gang of weaklings. Stop them one by one. Eliminate them as you please. Bring their bodies back to me. But do not say who you are. Make them think you are Kit, and continue committing terror in his name. Is that understood?" asked Slade
"I got it." Zerox said,
"Good." Slade said
Zerox then hangs up on Slade.
He looks at literally nothing as it's like he's staring down at you.
"You will all perish…and this will be ours for the taking." Zerox said
Zerox then laughs, manically.
