Maldives
Bonnie was scared. She looked at Kol who was leisurely holding onto a camera and giving her a very "innocent" expression. It wasn't a peculiar sight but it was very much annoying especially when she was so terrified. She was dressed in a scooba diving outfit and under Kol's atrocious plan would be let into a cage where she'd be surrounded by sharks. Kol himself had already done it and had quite enjoyed it, well he enjoyed any form of danger she had come to learn but still. She didn't.
However, Kol had insisted it was part of Lesson 2, try and find anything for herself to enjoy and considering how she didn't know what she wanted for herself, it'd be better to try everything in his list, who knows, she might want to be a marine biologist. His words not hers and Bonnie swore if she wasn't so scared she would have set him on fire. But she was scared not even because of the sharks but because they were way far from the shore, in the middle of who knows where. What if they got stuck in here as the movies go and got haunted by sharks?
She was still human, she couldn't survive on blood, Kol could, he was safe. She wasn't.
"Come on darling it's just sharks"
Bonnie shook her head, "no I can't, I can't, do this Kol" she whispered and Kol let the camera down as he gave her a tender smile, and then hugged her. "Do you trust me?" Yes. And that confirmation was stated so unhesitatingly through their bond that Kol was stunned as well. Bonnie looked away at Kol's expression which grew bright and she couldn't help but whisper inher thoughts, how much she wished he would always have that expression. How much she wished he was always happy.. and those thoughts suddenly made her fearless because she feared something else more.
Kol held her hand and kissed her knuckles and Bonnie noted it, she had never before and she noted it now and again. The occasional comforting brushes, the tender kisses that didn't lead to anything, the comfort of it. She noted it all and remembered and the fear in her heart was immense.
"I'm with you"
And I fear that. They both jumped in as Kol held her tightly whilst Bonnie felt her confidence grow with every step as the shark, no, the sharks came closer to her, they swerved around the cage and one immediately open its teeth and crushed on the cage. Bonnie was frightened but she was more frightened of the the hand that held her tight.
..
"Ahhh! I can't believe we did that!"
Bonnie yelled and Kol chuckled as the yacht went in the direction of the shore, she was still freaking out as the video kept playing on repeat. "You were amazing and you were brave...just as I knew you'd be" Kol whispered and hugged her from behind as if it were natural and it was and it had been, but Bonnie was noting it now and the heart locked in her chest couldn't help but skip a beat.
She looked at Kol and said quietly, "you were right, danger is exhilarating, it's amazing, thank you" she whispered and Kol smiled as he raised her cheek and kissed her so tenderly and sweetly, Bonnie wanted to cry because Kol though a certified playboy had frankly no idea what he was doing to her. To them. And Bonnie wanted it to stay that way because there was more that they had to do before they could accept each other wholeheartedly.
"Cross it off the list, there is no way I am doing that for a paycheck" Kol laughed loudly and Bonnie kissed him again as he placed her on the counter, touching her gently and tenderly and as he took her in, Bonnie wondered how long before Kol realized they'd stopped having sex, they had long been making love. The yacht had long stopped but Bonnie and Kol didn't, exploring every inch of their connection till they drank the other's blood.
..
Bonnie glared at Kol who laughed quite infectiously as he gave her a piggyback ride whilst his hands tickled her bare feet. She pinched him and Kol laughed again and Bonnie couldn't help but giggle along.
This was nice.
She thought her hands surrounding and holding Kol's neck, she kissed his neck and Kol stopped. "Don't do that" he said oddly sensitive but Bonnie didn't listen, how could she? She kissed him more and more and more and Kol felt oddly cherished. That feeling was dangerous. Too dangerous. He spun her around and pinned her on the tree, "you don't want me to take you here now do you little witch?" he grunted out but Bonnie was daring. She had played with sharks and had done the most taboo thing, love a Mikealson, what more could she be afraid of?
"No, of course not" Bonnie said and then she kissed his neck again and sucked on it as if claiming her mark. And the sound that Kol let out made it clear he understood the message and when he took her in, Bonnie would reminisce and remember to apologize for how she judged Caroline.
She understood it now, more than ever.
..
Bonnie frowned "Kol we're naked!" she yelled and he smirked, "and only the cook's here, come on dance with me" he said persuasively but he didn't wait for an answer, he took her hand in his and he kissed it so tenderly, Bonnie's heart soared.
She let him guide her and they danced to a slow song as Kol kissed the temples of her head whilst Bonnie's eyes softened and Kol couldn't help but kiss her breathlessly. Bonnie reciprocated eagerly and before they knew it, they were at it again on the dining tables and Bonnie had to thank Kol for dismissing the staff as she released everything she ever had and Kol took it all greedily and beastly.
His veins bulged and he clung his fangs into her again and Bonnie brought him closer and closer as they strengthened their bond, and their need for each other permanently.
..
Morning came and Bonnie hummed as she looked at Kol who was snoring softly, she kissed his forehead and he hugged her tightly as he kissed her lips.
"Morning"
He mumbled still half asleep and Bonnie chuckled, "morning" she whispered gazing her eyes at him. She certainly could get used to this but deep down, Bonnie knew she couldn't be greedy, not yet. Not now. She stood up from his embrace, he grunted and grabbed her wrist. "Come back" he mumbled against her skin and Bonnie sighed blissfully as she stayed with him for a couple more hours.
They woke up a little later and went down to eat breakfast, Bonnie looked at Kol's atrocious list and she watched him add even more things and she glared at him whilst he smirked.
"You said it was fun" it was, but he had just added climbing Mount Everest and she was not doing such a thing. "We are not climbing Mount Everest" she stated and Kol gave her the puppy dog eyes, "it'll be fun darling" he whispered and nibbled her ear and Bonnie closed her legs reflexively and Kol smirked, smug and Bonnie glared. She was not doing that. She shook her head and Kol smiled as his hands went in-between her thighs.
"Kol" she warned but the Mikealson didn't listen, how could he? Bonnie Bennett was his. She was his as much as he was hers. And Kol didn't realize it and he wouldn't, until he said it again. Someone knocked on the door and Kol frowned at the interruption whilst Bonnie sighed in relief. She stood up to answer and Kol frowned even more and held her hand.
"What's wrong?"
She asked and Kol looked behind the door, the managers or anyone would have texted him if they wanted to be here, he had been quite adamant to tell them to. So anyone out there was probably an uninvited guest. He held Bonnie and kissed her, she was strong and she could fight so there wouldn't be a need to worry but he had utterly exhausted her yesterday and himself with his need to reaffirm something that was bothering him about them, which he really needed to sort out but point was that they were a little exhausted.
Bonnie touched his hand, "hey it's okay, it's not anyone bad, I'm sure, I would know" she assured him and Kol's tense shoulders lessened a little bit but he still held her hand and made her hide a little bit behind him. Bonnie rolled her eyes finding it both annoying and sweet at the same time.
Kol opened the door and his eyes widened in surprise as did the other four pairs of eyes looking at the two who were side by side and were clearly intimate.
"Brother/Caroline"
