Do you like the chapter title? I figured it would be a good of a pun as any.

The challenge appeared to be based off of Star Trek (namely due to the colored costumes that each of the teams wore) so I figured why not.

Though I do like the title that the creators came up with. I'm sure we all want people to give us some space sometimes.

Chapter 8: Allstar Trek

After spending some time with each other, the campers reported for the next challenge.

"In the last elimination Hunter was voted off." explained Kristal.

The Magenta Team were now of the feminine variety. It was appropriate since magenta were similar to pink. Though pink wasn't always a girl's favorite color. Tess preferred black personally. And Fiore preferred yellow...though she was okay with being on the magenta team so long as Rosa Maria stayed at her side.

Alec was relieved that Fiore was still in the game. Of course, it would be a shame to lose a member of his villains alliance before the merge. That would put them at a disadvantage.

However, he was curious as to why they had decided to vote off Hunter. Wasn't Hunter an ace in challenges? He had decided to watch Season 2 and had realized how well Hunter had done. Of course, so had Ally. Tess had done fairly well too. It made him glad that he had decided to make an alliance...even though an alliance that featured multiple teams was unusual.

The other contestants were curious as well...but at least with Hunter gone they would have an easier time getting past the Magenta Team in challenges.

Confessional: I figured you wouldn't mind Fiore sticking around a while longer.

Aiden: It's a shame that Hunter is gone. I admired how well he did last season. But I guess he's not so lucky this time.

Tess: Hunter and Ally are both gone? I wonder how well I'm going to do in the merge. But then again, I didn't come to this game to win.

Riya: It looks like I won't have to worry about competing against him in the merge. I know how well we did during challenges.

Rosa Maria: I personally like Hunter though I wouldn't want to compete against him in a tiebreaker challenge.

"For the next challenge we shall be doing a space challenge." noted Kristal.

"A space challenge?" asked Tom.

That sure was a change in pace. Before the closest thing that the show had to a space challenge was challenges that took place at night.

"Indeed we are." nodded Kristal. She wanted to be creative when it came to challenge ideas.

"I do like sci-fi movies." remarked Aiden.

Kristal pointed to the spaceship.

"Hop right in and we can start the challenge." instructed the hostess.

"This was a great idea, Trevor." noted Kristal.

"Should we include lightsabers?" asked Derek. He was a Star Wars fan. Though personally he leaned towards the dark side more than he leaned towards the light side.

"A lightsaber duel could be a tiebreaker challenge, but I think I'll reference a different sci-fi movie for now." spoke the hostess. She was in a Star Trek kind of mood. Though Lake was gone so she would not be cosplaying as Jean Luc Picard.

Confessional: In space no one can hear you scream...unless you're on live television.

Rosa Maria: Knowing Kristal she'll probably feature an alien of some kind to hunt us down. I've seen that movie.

Tom: I can only hope that we don't run out of oxygen.

Kristal explained the challenge once they were inside.

"This is another racing challenge. But it's also a scavenger hunt challenge of sorts this time. You need to find the shuttle so that you can leave." noted Kristal.

"This challenge sounds simple." remarked Ashley.

"I figured it would be a good idea to make sure that the campers knew what to do. I will admit that some challenges can be a little...complicated." spoke the hostess.

"I feel like I've handled those challenges well in the past." spoke Rosa Maria.

"I'll say! You made it to 5th place!" exclaimed Fiore.

"You did even better than I did." remarked Rosa.

"Yeah...but you chose to play fair." noted the girl. Perhaps she didn't need to use dirty tactics to win. But good luck telling Riya that.

"The challenge starts...now!" exclaimed Kristal.

The cyan team discovered a stuffed animal vending machine.

"Yay! Stuffed animals!" exclaimed Gabby. Even if her team didn't win the challenge, this was still something to look forward to. Though seeing as this was a race, they probably couldn't afford the distraction.

"Do all girls love stuffed animals?" asked Aiden.

"I don't know, didn't you use to be a girl?" questioned Ellie.

"That feels like so long ago..." noted the white-haired contestant. Perhaps he had forgotten what they had been like.

"I think stuffed animals are okay." spoke Tess. It's nice to have one when you're experiencing depression.

The magenta team wondered how they would win the challenge.

They knew that the shuttle was on the spaceship somewhere, but it was on the fence as to where it was.

"Is that a ventilation shaft? Maybe we can crawl through it like in movies!" exclaimed Ashley.

"This might be a cartoon but I don't think we can do that." noted Rosa Maria.

"Yeah. We're too big." noted Tess.

"Oh, right. I guess the rules of fiction don't always apply here." spoke Ashley. And this was designed to be realistic fiction.

And yes, they were breaking the fourth wall a lot today.

"I think I could fit through it." spoke Fiore.

She decided to try.

The other campers could hear her.

"Oh no! There's a Xenomorph in the vents!" exclaimed Aiden.

"I hope not. We don't have flamethrowers." noted Tom.

And even if they did, they weren't enough to save Dallas.

The yellow team heard her as well.

"I wonder who that is?" asked Grett.

"I know it's not you! You're too fat to fit through the vents!" exclaimed Yul.

"Yul!" shouted the young woman with the ponytail.

"I was only kidding." answered the dancer.

"Alright then!" exclaimed Grett.

"Is this part of the challenge?" asked Riya.

"Maybe. Wait a minute..." spoke Alec.

Confessional: I couldn't resist this movie reference.

Alec: Is Fiore using her size to her advantage? If so, that's clever of her. I'm impressed.

Yul is chuckling to himself.

Grett: He does realize that I'm working hard to stay healthy, right? I'm sure he didn't mean that.

Searching through the vents, she managed to find where the shuttle was. She could see it from down below.

It was a surprisingly good shortcut. And she did not have to get on her hands and knees.

"I found it!" exclaimed Fiore. They needed to go east.

The campers were happy to hear that.

Fiore waited for them in the shuttle room after dropping from another vent. Fortunately she was light so she did not hurt herself. Being a child on this show had its perks after all.

Confessional: I figured I would make this fanfic a tad realistic.

Kristal: This wasn't how I intended for the Magenta Team to complete the challenge but I will allow it. Though I do wonder why the vents are so smooth.

Fiore: Normally I wouldn't crawl through a vent but the vent was surprisingly clean.

Rosa Maria: I was worried for a moment Fiore would hit her head, but I guess she's small enough she doesn't have to worry about that. I don't think she's heavy enough to make the vents collapse though. Which is good, because Kristal would be mad if we did that.

Ashley: This wasn't a hide and seek challenge but if it was I bet Fiore would do well.

Tess: We made the right choice not voting her off. I do miss Hunter though.

The magenta team managed to reach the shuttle.

"Yes! We reached the shuttle!" exclaimed Fiore.

"Not only that, but there are two shuttles still here aside from ours. I think we're here first." noted Rosa Maria.

It sure was good that they wouldn't lose a member twice in a row.

Riya realized that another team had managed to complete the challenge before them when they found the shuttle.

"No reward? Why didn't we finish faster?" pouted Riya.

"We should probably consider ourselves lucky we don't have to vote anybody off." noted Alec. Was that all Riya thought about? Getting a reward?

"I'm just glad we don't have to vote off one of our own." said Grett. She would feel sad if her boyfriend was eliminated.

"Yeah. That would be...unfortunate." noted Yul.

Confessional: Riya thinks that second place is for losers...even though it's the cyan team who are going to be losing a member.

Yul: How much longer do I have to pretend to be Grett's loving boyfriend? Then again, she could help me win the three million dollars. Maybe I should be her loving boyfriend a while longer.

Grett: I wonder what the reward for the space challenge would have been.

Riya: We better win the next challenge.

Alec: I felt like we did reasonably well, all things considered.

Unfortunately for the cyan team, they realized that they were last.

Ellie let out a sigh. This was their third loss.

The campers were surprised to find out that they hadn't gone into outer space after all.

"We didn't go to outer space?" asked Grett.

"Did you really think we had the money to take you to space?" asked Kristal.

"Well, you plan on giving away three million dollars to a lucky contestant." noted Fiore. So it didn't seem like money was much of an obstacle to her.

"True. But we couldn't just summon a rocket out of thin air." remarked the woman. Rockets took time to build. And there was also the fact that rockets needed fuel.

And she would get sued if the rocket blew up with them inside. Those things happened.

"Regardless of whether we went to outer space or not, I found that the challenge was rather exciting." noted Rosa Maria. They might not have actually been to space but it did feel like they were in outer space. She did not approve of what Derek and Trevor did during Season 1, but she did applaud them for making the challenge feel authentic.

Fiore nodded.

"We did have enough money to provide a beach day for whoever won the challenge. That means you, magenta team." spoke Kristal.

"That sounds like fun." noted Tess.

"Cyan Team, you'll be voting off another member." said the hostess.

"I wonder why people love seeing me in my swimsuit." noted Tess. She did admit it was a little skimpy.

The four of them decided to relax in their swimsuits.

Since Tess currently wasn't in a challenge she wore her swimsuit from Season 2.

Oliver stopped by and his nose began to bleed a bit.

"Are you alright?" asked Tess.

Oliver nodded.

She gave him a tissue to wipe the blood...though it was on the fence as to where she would be able to carry one in her bikini.

Confessional: I couldn't resist an opportunity for fanservice.

Fiore: When I get older I probably won't wear a bikini like Tess's. Black isn't my color anyway.

Tess: I know my bikini is a bit revealing but people didn't complain about it in Season 2. At least Connor seems to like it.

Connor: Tess sure is attractive...I don't want to give her an unfair advantage compared to other contestants though.

Rosa Maria: Did Connor get a nosebleed from seeing Tess in a bikini? I guess it's not too surprising. Of course, she usually wears more than I do.

Ashley: I read a story about a cow jumping over the moon...after that challenge I felt like I went to the moon.

Team Cyan went to the campfire to decide who would be their third member voted off. They were about to become a trio. Aiden and Tom had already made up their mind as to who they would be voting off.

"It appears we have a tie. I guess we're going to be having a tiebreaker challenge." noted Trevor.

"Or we could have someone from another team decide who gets voted off. That would save money." remarked Derek.

"True." nodded the contestant. Perhaps they should do a bit of penny pinching.

"How will you decide who votes?" asked Aiden.

"We have a wheel of contestants on the other teams." noted Derek.

"Why do you have that?" asked Tom.

"We figured that we might make another kissing challenge. But to be honest, this will work too." explained the more cruel member of a certain duo.

"We just need to remove the cyan team pictures." said Trevor.

He removed them.

"But what if it stops on one of us?" asked Gabby.

Derek and Trevor thought of that.

Trevor had an idea.

"You get an extra vote!" exclaimed Trevor.

"Oh, nice." said Gabby.

Trevor spun the wheel.

It ended up stopping on Tess.

"Yes!" exclaimed Gabby.

Aiden and Tom groaned.

Tess waved to Gabby and Ellie.

"I suppose if I get voted off I can at least see Jake again." noted Tom.

"Oh, as if he's a wonderful love interest." answered Ellie.

Tess frowned. This was what she didn't like about this show. It was a toxic influence for Ellie.

She thought about what to do for a moment.

It wasn't easy, but she came to a decision.

She handed her vote to Derek and Trevor.

However, Tess's vote was not who anyone expected.

"Tess decided to vote for...Ellie." said Derek.

"What?!" exclaimed Ellie.

Gabby's eyes widened with shock.

"Tess, did you vote for Ellie?" asked Gabby.

"I'm sorry, but this game brings out the worst in her. Just for the record, it wasn't an easy decision." noted Tess. She didn't think it was worth winning the money if it meant sacrificing their morals. She couldn't enjoy the money if she was hated by people.

"What has she done?" questioned the girl who dressed in red.

"I appreciate you sticking up for Ellie, but are you sure you're not blind to her faults? I saw in Season 1 she decided to play with Jake's emotions. I will admit that he can be immature but you could have treated him better." noted Tess.

"Well, Jake's parents are homophobic from what I've heard about him." spoke Gabby. Though she wondered why he got a spinoff when Ellie and herself did not.

"It's true, it kind of does." admitted Ellie. She had done things that she regretted, though she did admit that her fellow cast members could be frustrating at times. Except for Gabby. She was cool.

"She just wants money so that she can have a better life!" exclaimed Gabby. Was that really too much to ask?

"Will money really buy her happiness?" questioned Tess.

"I suppose you're right. Maybe I should leave." noted Ellie. Maybe there were other ways for her to find happiness, seeing as money didn't work.

"I'll miss you, Ellie!" exclaimed Gabby.

This was a role reversal, to be sure. In the first season it was Gabby who went first.

Of course, the season was kind of going backwards considering how early the first two winners were eliminated.

"So...no tiebreaker challenge?" asked Derek.

"Maybe next time." answered Trevor.

"I think I should be happy with what I already have. I do have Tess and Gabby." noted Ellie.

Maybe friends were more important than money.

And who knows, maybe the winner could help her with her financial problems? She did hear Ashley say that the game was crazy once.

She decided to take her leave.

"And now it's just the three of you. But rest assured, the merge will be coming soon." said Derek. They wouldn't have to worry about being wiped out.

It was something to look forward to.

Ellie waved to the audience as the bus showed up to take her to the motel.

Perhaps Connor could help her out with her financial problems. Could he give her a job at his company?

It seemed as good of an idea as any.

Confessional: Ellie isn't making the merge this time.

Ellie: (Vote: Tom) Let's hope that Gabby's vote is enough.

Gabby (Vote: Tom) I hope I can save Ellie from being eliminated.

Tom (Vote: Ellie) Don't play with Jake's emotions!

Aiden (Vote: Ellie) I can see why Tom doesn't like her. Though I will admit I haven't known her as long.

Voted Off: James, Miriam, Ally, Jake, Connor, Hunter, Ellie

Well, Ellie's still getting eliminated. But is Tess going to be eliminated in the chapter after that? The yellow team didn't score first place though so I don't think I made it too similar.

Gabby's probably not going to seek revenge this time.

Though Tess does have one less ally now that Ellie is gone.

But the merge is on the horizon so perhaps she can make an alliance with somebody.

Anyways, the first member of the villains alliance has been eliminated.

Can the villains alliance stay afloat? They still have five members but that is subject to change.

I imagine I will like the Season 2 remake but they aren't changing the elimination order this time. They want to make it consistent with Disventure Camp Allstars. I don't think a remake for that season is off the table, however.

I know that the challenge was kind of short but this is my longest chapter for this fanfic so far so...

Anyways, see ya.
