Airline Ways
It was some time sine the five friends had departed to the local airport. Well, actually, two hours. On Kaz's first major delivery, he'd delivered a set of goods to the international airport. "There you go," Kaz said to the manager.
"Thanks, kid," the manager said as one of the forklifts took his load, "I knew I could count on you, kid. Okay I know." "Thanks," Kaz replied. "You've made the right choice," Spiritstrike said.
For the moment, both Skylar and Jinny along with Clipper decided to take a look around the airport. "Wow," Skylar said, "This is big." "The airport back home isn't as big as this," Jinny said.
That is when they came across a large plane sleeping in a hangar. It was all right for the five friends to go and visit him.
"He must be around 30 years old," Jinny said. That is when the big jet plane woke up. "Oh, sorry," Jinny said, "Did we wake up?" "Nope," the plane said. "Sorry," Skylar said. "No problem," the jet plane said.
Everyone introduced themselves. "My name is Voltaic," the jet plane said. "I wonder what you're doing in her all day," Skylar said, puzzled. "Haven't flown in years," Voltaic explained. "Oh," Skylar said.
"Not being in service much," Voltaic added, "You know how the airport business is these days." "Oh," Jinny replied, "I know." "Well, is there anything we can do for you?" Skylar asked, trying to be helpful.
"Not really," Voltaic said. "I see that your friends are talking to Voltaic," the manager said. "Him?" Spiritstrike asked. "All right," Kaz said, "Way to go, Skylar!" "There's an urgent delivery to be made," the manager said, "Since there's no one else available, there's no other choice." "All right," Voltaic said.
Soon enough, Voltaic took off for the first time in a long time. "Shouldn't we get back?" Jinny asked. "Tomorrow," Kaz answered. "Around tomorrow." And he was right about that. "How's that for helping someone out?" Kaz said, "Wait, what?"
