Chapter three
Todd woke up feeling the growth pains, With a stretch and a yawn, He could feel all his body popping its joints, "AAHHH!"
Kyle was sitting up with his legs crush, looking stun, "wow! Now you look like a grow man."
Todd looked over as he felt his clothes tight but not looking down at himself just yet as he noticed there was already new clothes and a plate of food, three eggs, four bacon, five pieces of toast, a box of cereal with milk as well a glass of orange juice.
Todd looks surprised, "is that all for me? Kyle I can't eat that much!"
Todd's eyes widened as he put his hands around his throat as he could feel an Adam's apple as his voice had become a lot deeper and as he did feel his neck he realized his hand was much bigger.
Now looking at his hand he noticed it was bigger but also his arms were much thicker with muscle and then he looked down at himself, he had the body of a bodybuilder.
Kyle gulped as he handed over Todd a mirror, "I wasn't kidding when I said you look like a grown man."
Taking a look in the mirror, Todd noticed his face was far more masculine and manly, his hair became shave, he looked to be in his late twenties, "no way this is me!?"
Kyle shook his head, "yeah, but I'm sure It is you Todd."
Todd felt hungry and ate the food before getting changed into a pair of heavy black boots, black shorts, a black belt, a black short talking to his shorts.
Kyle went down to make sure no one could see them in the backyard before letting Todd know the close was clear.
They ran to the park and Nicholas was already there and was looking at Todd up and down, "my god Todd! You are grown up!"
Nicholas was pale as he was surprised by how big and muscular Todd had become and Todd smirked.
"Yeah you can say I lift the weights," Todd said as Kyle rolled his eyes.
"Guys this is serious we got to find a way to get Todd back to normal," Kyle said and both look at him.
Todd nodded, "you're right, but let's make sure we know how to fix this without me exploding."
Nicholas didn't seem bothered by that, "you're still around normal size, as long you don't grow to the size of a house or go anything over 8 ft I'm sure you will be fine at least we have time since it seems you grow a few feet everyday."
Kyle crosses arms together, "it doesn't matter we have to get them back to normal as quickly as possible, before Todd's parents questioned why they have not seen him in 2 days, we might be lucky if they don't question anything for another day or two."
Todd realizes Kyle was right as his parents will start to wonder why they have not seen him in a couple days.
The three were sitting down together on the bench with their arms crossed and wondered themselves what they were going to do.
Todd's stomach began to growl, "great with this body I'm going to be more hungry."
Nicholas pulled out a watermelon from his backpack, it was big, "I forgot the knives I'll go get it."
"No," Todd said as he grabbed the watermelon and used his hand to rip it in half and use one of the half to rip it again for the other two to share as he took the other big one all for himself and ate it.
Kyle's eyes widen, "hold on did you just rip that watermelon in half with just your bare hands?"
Todd nodded as he was biting down on the watermelon, "yeah, I guess I did."
Kyle began to get an idea of what they could do with this, "we can make some money off of his grip strength."
Todd looked at Kyle and wondered, "and how do we do that?"
At the junkyard
The three were wandering around gathering up garbage, Rusty pants and pots, they even found some old tools that were Rusty but tough."
Back at the park as people were passing by Todd showed them his grip strength and some people were amazed and even gave him money to see more of it.
Nicholas pulled out his phone and he was lucky to get and started recording videos of Todd grip strength.
After a few hours it was in the middle of the afternoon and they have already made around 50 dollars.
Todd was holding the money as he was counting an amazing how much he was able to made, "wow 50 being tall may not be bad so after all."
The three were laughing for a moment as they had forgotten about the situation they were in until Kyle snapped back into reality, "yeah but we can't let you stay like this you will eventually explode if we don't do anything."
Todd nodded as they split up, Todd went to buy snacks for himself as the other two gathered up things and later met up back in the woods.
They made a small camp for Todd as they did not want to take a risk of one of their parents going up to the tree house to see Todd who was a grown man now and getting the wrong idea.
"Do we really have to hide me here? I mean we could just tell them," Todd said but both Nicholas and Kyle shook their heads as there was no way they would have believed Todd had eaten a giant carrot and suddenly became an adult within two days.
It was getting late and Kyle and Nicholas left Todd alone in the woods at night.
Despite being all tough Todd was actually scared of being in the woods at this time, he was scared and uncomfortable being out in the woods all alone as he began to think about what he remembered in the episode from Muriel blows up how courage was not able to explode.
Todd remembered that and decided tomorrow would be the day where he would get this carrot out of him.
