Chapter 3 Battery

In Fairy World, Cosmo and Wanda had located Jorgen.
"Jorgen we need to talk about Denzel Crocker." Said Wanda.
"Yeah he didn't deserve to get punished back in 1972. I was the one who messed up and revealed that fairies were real. Denzel didn't deserve to get punished for that. Punish me!" Said Cosmo.
"Please just allow us and Timmy to travel back to March 15, 1972 and fix things." Said Wanda.
Jorgen looked at the two smaller fairies for a few seconds and then he spoke.
"No I forbid you to travel back to March 15, 1972 to change the past of Denzel Crocker."
"What why?!" Asked Cosmo and Wanda.
Jorgen motioned for Cosmo and Wanda to follow him over to the Big Wand the source of all magical power in Fairy World, powering all the magic wands of the fairies on Earth.
"You both know how the Big Wand gets it's power?" Asked Jorgen.
"From the belief of children believing in fairies." Said Wanda.
"And that power goes away, when kids get older and stop believing in fairies." Said Cosmo.
"Correct. You see back in March 15, 1972 there was a unique incident that created a immense amount of belief energy and it has been going strong for over 30 years." Said Jorgen.
"Wait...are you saying that Denzel is the source of that immense belief energy that emerged in 1972?" Asked Wanda.
"It is, both your actions as well as Timmy's actions made Denzel Crocker into what he is. A crazy teacher obsessed with fairies and a good source of energy for the Big Wand." Said Jorgen.
"So he's a battery?" Asked Cosmo.
"He is and a very affective one at that." Said Jorgen.
"So you won't allow us and Timmy to go back to March 15, 1972 to change Denzel's past, because he became a big source of energy for the Big Wand and Fairy World?" Asked Wanda.
"Correct." Said Jorgen.
"That's messed up! Denzel was a good kid, who could have done some real good in the world if it wasn't for what happened on March 15, 1972! He's more then just a battery and has a right to have a happy life!" Said Wanda.
"Yeah if anyone should have been punished it should have been me!" Said Cosmo.
"Be as that may, this was the best outcome for Fairy World. The past will not be changed." Said Jorgen.
"But Denzel has become a miserable and evil teacher that makes kids lives miserable as he searches for fairies and he has come dangerously close to exposing me and Cosmo on a few occasions." Said Wanda.
"Enough! Denzel will remain the way he is providing energy for the Big Wand and you will not interfere with the past! Now be gone!" Said Jorgen waving his wand and making Cosmo and Wanda vanish in a poof of pink smoke.
Cosmo and Wanda found themselves back in their castle home in Timmy's room.
"Man Jorgen was been an absolute jerk! What's being done to Denzel is not ok!" Said Wanda.
"Yeah the only thing that can possibly make this worse is if Crocker somehow traveled back in time and learned the truth about what happened to him. That would be super terrible and he would probably try to get revenge and destroy all fairies, but what are the odds that something like that would happen." Said Cosmo.
"We got to figure out another way to help Denzel." Said Wanda.
The two fairies huddled together as they thought about how they could help Denzel, unaware that trouble was going to head their way.
