Life in the hotel was alright. Despite the last few days of craziness, revelations, and family reunions, they eventually got used to it.

Let's show some examples, shall we.

Lucifer eventually came by and once Charlie explained what the shockwave was and who the new guests were, he was relieved yet still had a bunch of unanswered questions.

"So, there's this new magic that I have never heard about until now and your family is the source of it all?" Lucifer asked, eyeing the Helldrigals (I don't know what else to call them. Please don't judge).

"Yup." "More or less." "Yeah…"

Lucifer was intrigued, pissed (Because he never knew until now), and curious about it all, "Interesting…" he replied while squishing a random rubber duckie.

Isabela and Camilo felt… well, how else would you feel with the actual King of Hell in front of you? They… didn't expect him to be so short, not going to lie. They had many imaginations but certainly not… this. Not that they were ones to judge but still.

"So… who do you think from the top of your head gave us the Miracle?" asked Camilo.

"Well, it could be one of my siblings…" Lucifer theorized, "Or perhaps two of them worked together to create it since it's a feat to achieve of course. Or maybe father himself…?"

So that answer is still going to be left a mystery.

"Anyway…" judging by the way Lucifer was tapping all of his fingers, he had nothing else to discuss, so he had to improvise, "... Want to see my latest duckie?"

Unsurprisingly, Camilo was interested in the strange rubber contraption that can somehow spit fire and Lucifer was all too happy to show him how it works. The sisters watch them with amusement about the interaction yet concerned that their cousin of all people is taking the interest.

Perhaps they could try and stop him before the chameleon could do something foolish.

Charlie, Vaggie, and Isabela were discussing topics here and there about how they've been doing and other stuff like that. Eventually, Vaggie needed to go to the bathroom, leaving Charlie and Isabela by themselves.

It was… awkward if that's how you want to put it.

"So…"

"So…"

Yep. Awkward as all of Hell.

Charlie was nervous alright. She's been nervous before but never this kind of nervous. I mean, this was her girlfriend's sister, what do you expect?

And the fact that Isabela was an actual force of nature also didn't help with the nerves. She was one of the best drug lords out there. Charlie had heard many stories about her business and that if you ever piss her off, you'd be wishing for mercy the next second. Not to mention her reputation for serious and stone cold attitude that can crush anyone (Well, she later learned that she isn't always like that with family and Luster. Which was good, right?) It was a real shocker to learn that she was Vaggie's sister.

Even though she already has Camilo's approval, Charlie still needed to find a way to get along with this badass.

"You know…" Isabela spoke at last, causing Charlie to freeze in place, "I've heard about what you and your friends did trying to defend this hotel."

Charlie didn't expect this response, "Yeah. It was a lot but we managed to pull through with the help of the cannibals and Carmilla Carmine's weapons…" She looks down, remembering the sacrifices made, "We… lost some good people…"

Isabela nodded solemnly, "You have my condolence."

Charlie looked at her curiously, "Why did you ask?"

"I wanted to congratulate you all on your determination." she explained, "I heard about it from Camilo earlier today. To be completely honest with you, the three of us usually hid underground once an extermination happens. Me and Luster were… too busy to even pay attention to the news."

Charlie tilted her head, feeling like there's something more, "And…"

"I just want to say how much it means to me," Isabela says, giving Charlie a gentle and appreciative smile, "That you were there for my sister when I couldn't. You have effort. I admire that and I'm happy that my sister has you as a girlfriend."

Charlie was overwhelmed so much that she gave an unexpected hug to the plant demon, causing the woman to startle as the princess hugged her tightly, "Thank you so much!"

Isabela didn't know what to say other than, "Your welcome. But if you ever do harm to my baby sister…" her tone was laced with her poison, "You'd be very sorry."

Charlie gulps as she lets go, "Got it."

But still the two of them still smiled at one another, earning one another's mutual trust.

As Vaggie got back, they continued on talking. Vaggie could sense that the tension between them was light. The ex-exorcist couldn't help but be happy that her girlfriend and her sister were getting along.

Isabela doesn't like Alastor. Not at all.

The plant demon only got along with a select few of overlords. The Carmine family were great people to talk to and it's nice to talk in my native language with them. And though Zestial was pretty scary for his reputation, he was understanding and wise which was nice and they got along just fine. Rosie, though a cannibal, she was a wonderful person to talk to and get along with.

There were also some overlords that she would rather not deal with, that's for sure. Like the Vees for starters. And a certain lizard bastard that she would not name.

But Isabela doesn't like Alastor. For a variety of reasons.

She doesn't like how he acts all haughty and static. Not to mention always smiling, all creepy and never normal. He's a danger and could destroy anyone who tests him. More of a danger than her or most formidable opponents she's come across and all just for his sickly entertainment.

But the biggest reason is his power. How Isabela can feel it every time he's around. It's just so… unnatural.

"Say, it's been a while, Belladonna." he said with his radio static voice, standing across from her, "Or should I perhaps call you Isabela? My, it was a great surprise that you're related to our resident fallen angel. Say, how's it been since I last saw you."

Isabela still wished he was still hiding somewhere.

"Don't ever call me that." the plant overlord hissed at him, "And don't you dare do anything to my younger sister."

Despite being threatened, Alastor still had that exact same face, "Not to worry, dear. I don't plan on doing such a thing. Hope you enjoy your stay." and with that, he just walked by as if nothing happened.

Isabela wanted nothing to do with him. But the good news was, he still has his soul owned so he won't do too much harm.

That's right, Isabela knows someone owns Alastor's soul.

She isn't stupid. The Radio Demon was a threat to behold and feared. To suddenly disappear like that and not show it off even more just seemed suspicious. And lets not forget that he's helping Charlie with the hotel that is meant to rehabilitate sinners. Isabela highly doubts it's for his entertainment.

But even though he's contained to an extent, the plant overlord still has to be wary. He was feared for a reason after all.

No matter what, Isabela would make sure to keep an eye on him during her stay.

"What are you three doing?"

"What? We aren't gambling."

"So what are you all playing, exactly?"

"Uno."

Husk, Angel Dust and Camilo were all sitting around a circle in the Lobby holding cards. Husk and Camilo were giving out their best poker face while Angel Dust sweat dropped at the tension.

Vaggie gave them skeptical looks, "You two look like your life's savings depend on it."

"When it comes to competition, Mira, you always have to bring out your best game face." Camilo replied, eyes narrowing as if testing the winged cat demon on making a risky move.

Husk nodded, agreeing with him as he picked his cards carefully.

"Yeah… But it's Uno."

They just kept ignoring her, too focused on their calculations and possible outcomes.

Angel Dust whispered to her ear nervously, "Please help me…" he muttered desperately.

Vaggie just sits down next to an intrigued Niffty, watching the show much to Angel's displeasure.

It went on for a long while. Vaggie was surprised about how much effort the two of them were showing in a game of Uno.

Eventually, it was Husk who finally won, placing his last card.

"Looks like I won." he remarked with a smirk.

Camilo sighs dramatically like he was shot in the heart, "No! Why?!"

"Stop being dramatic, Cami. It's just a game." Vaggie replied, rolling her eyes at her cousin's exaggerated antics.

"But still!" the chameleon cried out, but then noticed that Angel is still in the game, "Well, that leaves the two of us to finish this game.

Angel gulps.

Vaggie and Husk just laugh.
