He sighed reluctant to do this, he went to-eugh! Bourgeois hotel…he will despise every moment of this, he walked inside the grand luxurious hotel when he bumped into a girl falling down. He opened his eyes looking up slightly wincing, it was a girl with blue hair. It was short with bangs, yellow brown eyes and that feeling he had. It was stronger than before, the person's powerful beautiful thundering heart, full of determination, spirit, confidence and resilience. It was her and he knew it, it was powerful, the one he admired for who she was.
He got up and wiped himself off, "I am sorry I hadn't meant to bump into you an honest mistake" he extended his right hand "I should have made sure I wouldn't bump into you, wrapped in my own thoughts I suppose" he gave her a light polite smile, not truly meaning that he was at ease or calm or anything like that but it was a polite one for sure. One thing he wasn't was unnecessarily rude, yes he was rude and snarky but only when it called for it and also when he was annoyed at the person for a reason this did not call for that.
She took his hand and got up gently brushing the dust off her clothes, "I should say sorry as well, if I had warned you or noticed then this wouldn't have happened". She smiled, now he truly smiled, in amusement "Then let's settle on the fact that either of us could have paid more attention to our surroundings?" she nodded, chuckling softly "Yes let's settle on that" he looked at her curiously "Would it be out of place or rude to ask why you are here?".
She shook her head thinking. He is so polite, "No it wouldn't be rude or out of place", he nodded thinking of how amusing she was "Then why are you here?". She easily replied "My mother had come here to meet some acquaintances and also we moved here some time back so you could say still getting the house ready". Felix nodded realizing he still didn't know her name "Mm that is wise to do" the girl nodded "It is". "Mind telling me your name?" She looked at him stretching her right hand "Kagami Tsurugi", Felix took her hand shaking it confidently with such assurance "Nice name Kagami Tsurugi, have to say you seem confident in yourself". Kagami rolled her eyes playfully "Appearances can fool you".
"So you're not confident-?" He kissed her hand lightly "such appearances you hold, have to admit quite impressive how you seem so confident when you're not" Kagami had to admit he was charming when he had no right to be!, well he did but it was unexpected and he did look like Adrien, how odd. "No not confident at all, but thank you for saying that" he chuckled grinning "Your welcome. I think you should be confident though-" he moved his lips away from her hand and gently passed his thumb over her hand "confident in how you are. For you are already amusing me", she leaned closer "Your amusement?" he nodded gently the world becoming non existent to him, Kagami took centre stage. A photoshoot and she would be the model, to him for now he was concentrated and bemused by her, she was different and in more than one way.
She had a heart that was different, he could feel it. There was something unique about her that drove him to want to meet her, he shouldn't have been able to feel her as strongly with the miraculous, but he did. A portrait and she would be the masterpiece, that was how entranced he was by her "My amusement is the right word for it". Kagami tilted her head "Interesting. May I ask what your name is?" Felix smiles cheekily "I'll let you try to guess". She sighed "Oh now you're from stranger to mysterious blonde boy?", he smirked "I like the thought of that".
Kagami took her phone and showed it to him "Share phone numbers?", he tilted his head "Oh wow already?, and if I try anything?" she responded "Hm I know how to fight". He smirked "Ohh! I am so scared!", she rolled her eyes "I am not lying". He got closer "I never said you were", she softly laughed "Cheeky of you. I assume you know how to fight as well?" Felix nodded "I do", she thought of how it would go if they were to fight it would be most interesting "Well then it would be something if we were to fight" he nodded moving away "It would be interesting indeed".
Kagami watched Felix go to the front desk "I reserved a room, may I have my keys?" The woman there, a dark blonde woman with light brown eyes, looked at him probably wondering why a young boy had reservations, "I am sorry but I don't think you're old enough to, and where is your mother"...blasted people! Telling him what he can and can't do! However he regained his composure, his right elbow on the desk, his right cheek in his hand, left arm on the desk in front of his right arm. "My mother asked me to do this. She had to take care of some business elsewhere around here, I can assure you I am more than mature enough to do this, I am quite responsible" he leaned forward right hand to his side, his voice stern "Now. Will you allow me to do this or must I find another way to make this happen-?" he lightly smirked tilting his head "I certainly hope not".
The woman was astonished at his behavior, she softly muttered to herself "He is no ordinary child…I could listen to him, besides according to him his mother is somewhere around here so maybe it could be okay". She sighed "I suppose I would allow you to do this, assuming that your mother is indeed around here?" he nodded "She definitely is and thank you for being so understanding" he smiled at her faint disdain and irritation on his calm expression, the woman blankly nodded and he paid for the reservation for his 'mother'.
The woman gave him the keys, he snatched it in his right hand once she had put it on the desk. He wasn't about to snatch it from her hands, he walked back to Kagami "Well that is my leave" he smiled at her "Perhaps we will meet again? It would be nice if we could get to know each other better, Kagami" she nodded "I agree, mysterious blonde boy" he laughed lightly and nodded, turning around and walking off to go find his room. Kagami smiled and went to her mother, Felix went up the elevator earning some odd looks for who has ever seen a young handsome boy with a bag and a key for a room before?.
Not once or at least rarely, he went inside his room, locked the door and put his bag down in the closet. He let Duusu fly out, he had made sure he had reserved for the highest room to make sure that it is at a height where no one could see Duusu he let Duusu eat her almonds and do stuff. "Don't leave the room without me" she nodded happily checking things out, he went over to his bag and started putting the clothes in his drawers and also put his money in a wallet that he had got earlier and put most of the money there the rest of the absurd amount of money in a cloth under his clothes. He then fixed everything up and smiled "Ready to go now".
He walked outside with Duusu following, Felix had made sure the door was locked and the key tucked safely deep inside his bag. All he had to do now was go to Adrien's home so he needed an excuse, there was some sort of event occurring today wasn't there?. One where those of influence that had children were to go right?, if so then he would have to create a senti-being of his mother, he would have to ask Duusu how to use the miraculous to create senti-beings. He walked to the edge of the sidewalk and pressed the button with the cuff of his sleeve, he waited, arms crossed and Duusu flew under his tie gently nuzzling him. He smiled, patting her with his right hand before crossing his arms again.
Soon the little green man showed up, Felix walked across with confident strides, he muttered softly to Duusu "There is a party occurring today Duusu, for the influential and powerful. I will go as well, but this time I need to create a senti-being of my mother so if you would kindly inform me on how to do so that would be nice" Duusu nodded whispering "You need to use the correct emotion that matches her and you can also use other emotions depending on what you intend on her to do, oh also you need to focus on some aspects of her that are unique for her. For example if it was Chat Noir, it would be goofiness, freedom, lively, but also if you intend on him to be evil then maybe ruthless and other things. You also would have to focus on his determination and sacrificing nature-"
Duusu smiled at him "you can also focus on your wittiness and creativity, aspects of yourself to help. Be careful though and don't make her too powerful for the more power the more likely they will go rogue" Felix nodded stopping at the other side, he examined the home it was white and looked more like a madhouse. He softly snickered to Duusu "More like a madhouse than any home I've seen", Duusu giggled "True! I am not sure how anyone could live there" he shrugged gently stroking her with his right hand "I am not astonished that he lives like that" Duusu nodded recalling the memories she had living there, suddenly feeling more overwhelmed with the emotions she had and her concern for Nathalie she nuzzled into Felix's dress shirt sobbing. His eyes widened gently patting her back "I know it must be emotionally charged for you but don't worry I won't leave you" he gently kissed her head.
She looked at him, he was smiling gently at her…her new holder, he cared and wanted to do good she sniffled her voice cracking "I-I know", he softly chuckled "Don't worry I will make sure you are happy and well fed" she smiled "I like that!" he smirked "See?, now be happy my little kwamii", Duusu nodded sniffling while she curled up under his vest his tie on her and he tucked her in with the end of his tie seeing that she had went underneath the edge of his black vest he rolled his eyes walking "I hadn't expected seeing you here again" he looked over his shoulder hearing Kagami's voice, he smiled gently at her.
"A pleasure to see you again, Kagami…may I ask why you are here?" she smiled, noticing how he seems even more at ease now, he was different than the boys she had met and different than the boys her mother had made her be in a relationship with, none of it had worked and her mother didn't like them anyway so it never happened. But they weren't like Felix, he was unique "I am here for the same reason I assume" he smirked right shoulder tilted slightly his left side towards her rather cocky of him, his voice sly "The party am I right?, I have to say despite being the same clothes I had seen you in earlier, do you look better now-?" he leaned forward with fascination in his eyes "for I think so don't you?".
Kagami chuckled leaning forward as well "Thank you if I were to say so I would say that you also look better now despite also wearing the same clothes" he laughed smirking, his voice relaxed "Touche, have to admit having another witty sharp-tongued companion would be of entertainment and dare I say lighthearted or going too far?" she shook her head "Perfect description of it, it might be lighthearted". He backed away right hand behind his back "Well then Ms. Tsurgui see you then?" Kagami smirked, having quite fun interacting with him "Politeness, how kind of you. And yes see you then, kind mysterious one" Felix nodded, opening his mouth to delightfully say something witty in return until Tomoe cleared her throat narrowing her eyes "Kagami who is this boy?" she turned her head to where she heard Felix speaking "For he seems to be of no use and not Adrien".
Felix was not one to be affected immensely by others but hearing that, that he was inferior to Adrien in a way. His lips turned down slightly, always told he was less, never enough, pathetic, weak-'You are a monster Felix…' his father looked at him with disgust and repulsed 'I hate you Felix!, I wish you were never born, I didn't need you but your mother did…you're pathetic and weak and I wish I had Adrien as my son instead!'...the memory fresh in his mind he stared blankly at Tomoe not moving at all, mouth still open processing the oh so familiar words of hate and disdain.
He had just wanted love from his father and he received that instead, famous for his intelligence and labelled as the 'Cold prince' able to model as well as being able to hold certain positions and learned effectively how to evoke certain emotions…if only love was one of them. If only, Kagami looked at Tomoe with a scowl on her pretty face. "Mother, this is a boy I met, and he is polite and whether or not he is useful is not important to me. He isn't Adrien, that is for sure but he is still great in his own right, he is witty, snarky, polite, nice to be around-"I will not have this! You know you are supposed to be with Adrien for he-!"Ahem" Felix had finally snapped out of his trance, his right fist to his mouth narrowing his eyes at Tomoe.
"What is it?!", he rolled his eyes hand to his side saying with a soft snarl "I believe who is right for her is her decision. For this is who she has to spend the rest of her life with not you, so I believe it would be greatly appreciated if you were to leave the decision to her for whoever she chooses it won't matter, for she would be perfectly capable of carrying the legacy and I am certain smart enough to become famous all on her own". Tomoe scoffed. "It is necessary that she has someone of influence and Adrien is perfect!" Felix laughed "In your eyes he is perfect but neither one of them have the spark that is needed for that, trust me I know Adrien and they are not made for each other. Who she is supposed to be with is her decision, and I know she will make the right choice-".
He leaned closer snapping "so if you don't mind I will now leave, would bid you farewell if I cared" he looked to Kagami smirking, he leaned closer to her right ear and whispered "Bid you farewell one with the geode heart, can't wait to see you then-" he breathily laughed "beautiful geode, you're more precious than gold remember that" he leaned away turning around he walked towards the front of the mansion with confident and assurance in his strides he then turned to the right and went to the right side of the mansion. Kagami thought of his words, 'Bid you farewell one with the geode heart, can't wait to see you then', his breathy laugh and his sweet words, 'beautiful geode'. 'More precious than gold', she mumbled to herself walking in the mansion with her mother "I will remember that, don't you worry".
Felix called on his transformation "Duusu spread my feathers!" he twirled, landing his right foot after his left foot, the light green light spiraled from his foot up his leg forming his sock, shoe and right side of his pant, right hand flicking over his left hand his skin now lavender and then grabbed a dark blue light spreading it from his shoulder down to his wrist. Next he did the same to his right hand and shoulder, the rest of the jacket formed as well as his light purple shirt, he swept his hands outward from the middle of his jacket light green moving outward, his light purple shirt now has the dark green feathers, he tapped the point of his left foot behind his right foot dark blue light coming from his foot the other sock, shoe and the rest of his pant formed.
Now he flicked upon the fan in his right hand passing it over his face under his eyes, his hair now mint green, he flicked his hood over his head grabbing from the back the light green light. He smirked, pleased with the transformation, more elaborate but matched him perfectly. Felix now Argos took a feather from his fan in his left hand he took a deep breath in, he thought of his mother. The defensiveness she felt, the pride she feels, the light heartedness, the love, the courage, her calmness, her snarkiness, her clever tactics…he closed his eyes and thought of her purpose…to be his mother, a senti-being…he sighed and infused it in this elegant golden ring he put it on his left ring finger.
He heard her voice "Felix? What is wrong?", right he created her as his mother…an exact replica he hoped she would be an exact replica at least, she would obviously notice what is wrong and how he is feeling. Like his real mother would, he bitterly chuckled, opening his eyes "Nothing. Everything Is fine, just-..." he hadn't expected or prepared himself for when he would see the senti-being. He felt his lip twitch, feeling the burning sensation in his eyes, crying. He wouldn't let himself do it, he wiped at it with his right sleeve "didn't exactly think of how it would go seeing you again". He missed her, no wonder he was near to crying.
Ameilie noticed this she had soft eyes reaching him with her right thumb gently stroking at his tears that had missed his sleeve, "Shhh I love you Felix, don't worry I am here now" he nodded fighting back a cry, "I-" he closed his eyes trying to keep the tears back and opened his eyes again "I know, I know mother". 'Mother' he had just called her that, in a way she was his mother wasn't she?.
She gently caressed his cheek, he felt comfort letting her do that he gently breathed trying to regain control, however he still felt like crying, monster-ha! He wasn't one, but his mother never said that she-...his throat burned controlling the smothered cries, she loves him. He tilted his head gently "Ame-"Why aren't you calling me mother Felix?", he nodded seeing the concern in her eyes "Right. Mother. I-I missed you" he couldn't control it anymore and he didn't care, he let the tears flow, his love for her burning with such ferocity and he knew she felt the same way as much as she knew him he knew her.
He hugged her burying his face on her, his voice muffled and it cracked "I-I I-love you mother…I do-don't want to lose you!" Ameilie gently smiled hugging him back, whispering while she stroked his back "I love you too Felix, I always will. I am your mother" he nodded. After a while of her rubbing his back and him slowly gaining control of himself, he moved away from her, wiping away the tears and cleared his throat "Anyway, mother Gabriel is having this party. Which definitely will be boring but how about we go?, just to interact and you haven't seen Adrien or others in a long time haven't you?".
Ameilie nodded, "True I'll start going in, coming?". He nodded "In a moment", Ameilie nodded and started walking to the stairs of the mansion, Argos muttered "Duusu hold my featherss", Duusu flew out and he gave her an almond. "Felix don't worry, I am here for you" she nuzzled his left cheek. He had a small smile and he took a deep breath "Thank you Duusu. Let's go now", Duusu nodded, hiding in his pants pocket "Remember I am here for you". Felix nodded while walking inside while Adrien had run down the stairs "Adrien!" it was Gabriel's harsh voice, he stood at the middle of the mid landing. "Sorry father!" Adrien beamed at Felix "Felix!" Felix gently smiled "Hello Adrien", Adrien leapt over to him "Sooo hug or…?" Felix extended his right hand "This will be good for now".
Adrien nodded and eagerly shook it, "So Felix your mother is here right?" he nodded, gesturing to his mother with his right hand. Adrien let go of Felix's hand and waved at Ameilie "Ameilie hi!". Ameilie smiled and waved at Adrien "Adrien, hello how are you doing?". Adrien looked like an excited kid for christmas or any holiday really "Great!. I can go to school now, have nice friends and have a great time hanging out with them when I can!". Felix crossed his arms softly scoffing "Yeah if ever".
Ameilie looked at Felix with a slightly stern look "Be nice please?" He looked at her and she looked just like her. He sighed and nodded, Ameilie grinned "Thank you for trying Felix", he nodded "Your welcome mother". Gabriel looked down over the staircase "Ameilie…I hadn't realized you were coming", Ameilie looked up at Gabriel "Of course I would!..." she slyly smiled "I never miss anything". Gabriel huffed "Direct hit I see-" he examined her, she was wearing a nice white dress this time and white shoes, light grey tights up to her knees, dark grey blazer on her, white pearls for her earrings "your fashion choice matches well for you, right the direct hit. So soon in the event too".
Ameilie smirked "Thank you Gabriel, I always make sure I look presentable and I find that there is no exact 'correct' time for direct hits". Gabriel narrowed his eyes "Right, your welcome…no exact time for direct hits, pfft". Ameilie looked at him amused "Oh don't be so annoyed Agreste". He rolled his eyes walking down the staircase, ugh he really should have slept before 10 but no matter, it was worth it…except he feels tired and like hell.
-back at the train in London-
Ameilie had hurriedly packed her bags, she had to go and find her son. She had searched around London quickly yesterday night at 9 for some time but of course she had to go to sleep. So early at the break of dawn she had searched around London, but she hadn't found Felix at any of the sights he would go to. She had to find her son, the only place left was Paris so she had packed quickly after she had finished searching at the break of dawn.
She leaned back and thought of Felix. A memory she had of her son, Felix had walked softly into her room stealthily. Something he was always good at, the sun gently framing her face, it was not much for she had covered it with her bluebell curtain. She was fond of blue, her son was more into black, white and occasional dabs of red or other colours. Ameilie had been busy taking care of some business yesterday, until the late of night draining much of her energy however Colt hadn't prevented Felix from going in her room, not interested in that more consumed in seeing other ways to use his son's rise to fame and had been coughing up more blood recently, he was in bad shape actually.
Pale skin, sickly really. His son didn't seem to show much interest in his father at all, rushing past his father's room while hearing him cough, only peering in the room to watch intently. As if waiting for something, someone's demise knowing his wretched son he figured it was his demise his son waited for, so when his son in question had went to ask his father if he should go to his mother's room for this was Colt's home Colt had just waved his hand at him dismissing Felix, saying 'Don't bother me, go child see if your mother is awake if you want then'.
Back to what Felix was doing, he had gone in her room, he glanced around examining every detail intently, accidentally bumping into the right leg of the bed he fell down pouting a bit. He felt like saying 'Ow' or anything else out of pain so he simply let out a soft groan of pain, he looked up hearing her stir.
He held his breath seeing her yawn stretching and-she curled up again facing the left side, he smirked glad she hadn't woken up. He got up softly giggling to himself at the thought of presenting his mother with the gift he had made, father's day had been some weeks prior; he knew that only because Adrien had told him of what he had shown Gabriel. Unluckily for Adrien Gabriel paid no mind to it, more preoccupied that Emilie was sick, he knew that Emilie had used the peacock miraculous when creating Adrien, his mother had told him so. He was shocked by it, and so innocently asked questions that his mother was sensitive about it so he stopped those questions realizing that it was something that made his mother uncomfortable.
He opted to give gifts to his mother, for she cared about him. He wasn't sure why Adrien had thought giving Gabriel a gift would be well received but nevermind that, he went to her right side and gently moved her, it was March 30. Adrien would celebrate much later, he smiled he would be able to give it sooner than Adrien!. That was a nice thought, "Mother?" he softly said, Ameilie said tired 'Mmm…Felix what is it?' Felix grinned widely, presenting a nice card for her. 'It is mothers day mother!', she smiled, turning over to her side, saying 'Hmph' she looked at Felix, her hair shining in the sunlight, her hair messed up but still she looked friendly and loving.
Ameilie looked at the sweet card he had made, it was of a nice colour clearly he thought she would like it. And she did, the drawing was, erm, questionable. It was cute that he had done it for her but it wasn't good really. To be expected, he is young. She said to him 'I love it Felix thank you' she leaned over and kissed his forehead, he smiled 'You do?!' she nodded, he grinned and hugged her neck 'I am happy you like it mother!'. She nodded she had read the card before he had hugged her 'I love you mother! I want you to be happy!' Despite being rather mature she knew he was innocent and endearing anyway. Felix may not be outwardly affectionate or as bubbly as Adrien but it was the small actions that said so easily. His hugs, his sweet smile towards her, not asking things he knows are sensitive to her, looking at her for help and asking her things.
Talking to her, it wasn't as fierce as Adrien's at all but it was fierce in its own way. He wouldn't leave her for anything, even if he did it would always be for a reason, he would always come back to her she knew he felt guilt for being the reason she got hurt that day but it wasn't his fault. Even that guilt showed his care and love for her, for that she was grateful, her sweet loving son.
It was one of the many memories she had of her son, Ameilie thought of how she had left it on her desk so she could always see it. Colt hadn't bothered looking at it that day. She scoffed at the thought, he was so rude and mean, not caring about Felix or what he did. Felix eventually did do more outlandish things to show his love for her, or small but powerful gestures, flowers, helping her in some way, however he had always shown his love for her everyday. It brought a smile to her face thinking about her son, he was the joy in her life. No wonder she was so panicked when she realized he was gone, 'The sun shines on those that deserve it, and you deserve it all. Remember that, anytime you deserve something the sun will shine. I love you and will make sure the sun always shines for you'.
Those words, she had meant it Ameilie hoped that the sun would shine for him soon. She mumbled to herself "Soon", drifting off into a peaceful slumber smiling thinking about all the funny and adorable things in her life. She slowly blinked hearing the train slow to a stop she stretched yawning a relaxed expression on her face, it was a little later in the day 5:09, Ameilie got up carrying her bag with her and walked out of the subway, she realized that Felix must have done something to have somehow evaded having to be asked questions. He was smart so who knows what he did, a distraction maybe.
Ameilie sighed walking into the daylight shielding her eyes with her right hand, getting used to the sunlight after being underground in artificial light takes a while. "This is what I get for having a clever son, a blessing but also a pain" she called Gabriel dialling it under the shade, she held it to her ear in her right hand and walked off after a while once her eyes were accustomed to the daylight, and only then did Gabriel pick up she smirked Gabriel always did take long to pick up she thought. "Yes?" came his voice, as if tired "Are you alright Gabe?", she didn't hear him speak for a while…what is going on?.
"A-Ameilie?!" she chuckled looking around examining the places, oh she could go and fetch some food!, maybe a chocolate croissant, or maybe just quickly get something rather healthy "Yes it is me Gabriel, glad you could tell". Gabriel stammered "Uh ye-yes…ahem", she went over to a bakery and opened the door, the bell gently chiming. It was a nice bakery, she walked in "Ameilie where are you if I can ask?".
She hummed to herself, leaving him in suspense!. She heard him drumming his fingers and the pushing of a chair, sounded like he was pacing about now he was quick to grow impatient. Ameilie looked around, the food looked delicious, the fresh scent of bread, chocolate, all sorts of bitter and sweet food. She smiled taking in a whiff of it all, she said to the person "Excuse me", they looked at her, a guy with red hair and hazel eyes "Oh! What would you like ms?", she pointed at a chocolate croissant "May I have that?" he nodded smiling "Have to say you are pretty-" he chuckled, fetching it up for her "but you must get that a lot", she laughed "Definitely thank you for the compliment. You are quite kind", he nodded "No problem ms". Gabriel said "Ahem", she remembered about him right then "I am sorry Gabriel! I forgot to answer you!", he huffed "Right you did".
"I got distracted getting a pastry and talking to this kind man" Gabriel sighed "It is alright, just tell me where you are now". She nodded glancing around admiring the cozy ambience of the bakery, warm soft colours she thought Gabriel would like the nice contrast of colours being a fashion designer "I am in Paris-" she went to the counter mouthing 'Thank you' the man nodded saying "Your welcome, wouldn't mind if you came back" she grinned nodding and left, the bell chiming again "had searched for Felix around London, at all the spots I could think of where we had gone together or I have found him at. But I couldn't find him, I had searched for him at 9 quickly around London, so I had gone to bed and at the break of dawn I had gotten ready to go to Paris. It took a while but I am here".
She didn't hear a reply for a moment. She sighed, annoyed "Gabriel do reply", Ameilie decided to go and check hotels figuring Felix would be at one of the posh hotels "Ri-right so-sorry…" he cleared his throat muttering "How to put this?" she waited, taking her time to look for a hotel to search at first, "I may have-...found him but-!"You found him?!" she squealed delighted, jumping up and down, Gabriel attempted to calm her down "Ye-yes but!" she stopped jumping and opened the door "But what?" She went to the desk. She heard Gabriel sigh, softly and slowly he said "He had arrived with-..." Gabriel braced himself for her shock, closing his eyes saying quickly and hastily "you but it wasn't actually you as I now realize"...he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose with his right hand now came the scream-"With me but it wasn't me?!" there it was, he was glad he was in his office.
"Yes Ameilie he had arrived with what looked like you, I believe he had taken-..." he looked around head high he relaxed a bit seeing that no one was around to hear it he whispered "the miraculous". Ameilie gasped hearing that, she knew which one she looked at the person at the desk rapidly saying "Can you please tell me if there is anyone here by the name Felix De'vanily?, he is my son, he might also go by Fathom". They nodded searching in their system for the name, "It must be the peacock right Gabriel?". Gabriel nodded "Yes it must be the peacock, for if it wasn't there would have been no way for that to happen". She thought of something "But that would mean he stole it the same day he had taken that ring from you" Gabriel grimaced at the memory, the brat had taken his ring luckily he finally returned it eventually, well forced to. He twisted it with his left hand "Yes he did and yes he must have taken it the same day that he did that".
Ameilie nodded and the person behind the desk shook their head "I am sorry they aren't here, but I could perhaps contact other hotels?". She nodded "Perfect, how many could you do now?" the person thought "Probably about five or ten, is that good enough" she nodded looking around "Yes that is enough, make sure they are posh hotels. He is certainly in one of those, I will go searching for him anyway so here is my number contact me with it if you find anything okay?" they nodded.
Ameilie smiled and left to go to another hotel, "Is he at your home right now?" Gabriel thought about whether he should say it. She would want to know but should he?, it could rile her up and that would be bad not to mention she might act rashly, however this was her son so he decided to tell her "Yes he is at my home right now, but I think it is best if you wait for me to get the senti-being to go outside after a while I will inform you to come. And also you should change your clothes for they do have different clothes than you probably have right now". Ameilie nodded "Can you describe the clothes to me?" Gabriel nodded and described it, she smiled "Good thing I am wearing it. Just have to arrive is all and do your little plan" Gabriel rolled his eyes "See you then Ameilie, text me once you arrive to start the plan". Ameilie nodded "Got that! Bye Gabriel" "Bye Ameilie" she hung up.
Gabriel got up but wobbled swaying to the sides, he put his left hand on the right corner of his desk taking in some breaths, eyes closed, he slowly straightened himself and opened his eyes. He had to make sure he didn't walk about too much because he was still quite tired from yesterday night, Gabriel went over to Ameilie who was delightfully chatting with guests. He paused examining her standing to the left pillar at the end of the staircase, she was perfect in every way he mused softly "She is perfect in every way, Felix really outdid himself. Not one flaw, he must have taken the time to carefully consider her personality and her purpose". Gabriel graced across the floor towards her "Ameilie may I have a word with you?" she looked over her shoulder at him curious "Of course Gabriel". She looked at the guests saying "Sorry I would stay but I must make my leave now" she then turned to Gabriel "Do we have to talk somewhere else?" he nodded gesturing with his right hand to the back door of the mansion "It is best if no one else knows of this".
She nodded and Gabriel led her to the back, he opened the door she chuckled "Gentleman", he nodded closing the door behind him. In the back was the bright green grass, the statue of Emeilie to the left side of the mansion far away, he walked to Ameilie's right side and turned to her "Ameilie", she turned to him "Yes?". He thought of what to say, perhaps inquiry on why she was here despite having contacted him last night panicked about Felix's whereabouts and so it is bizarre she is here for since she is then there should have been no reason to panic. That was laying it thick, but it could be poised as a simple question then she would have no reason to feel on edge.
He went with it "I find it bizarre that you called last night panicked about Felix's whereabouts but yet you are here" he paused glancing around for a second taking in the scents of the flowers and the view to make it seem more 'casual' if it fitted the occasion and the talk, he looked back at her "I must say it is odd to me that you did, for if you are here then why would you have called panicked asking about Felix's whereabouts?". Ameilie was shocked at how thickly and straight forward he laid it, "I had just been concerned because I realized he left the hotel without telling me, I did find him so sorry about that".
He nodded "No need to concern yourself with that, it is trivial now however…" she looked at him hoping he hadn't figured it out. He gently furrowed his brow "you had contacted me last night claiming that you had went in his room at London…and just this morning informed me that you had looked all over London last night at 9-which is why I presumed to myself that immediately after my call you had searched for him, not to mention that you had told me you arrived now…so tell me Ameilie". He leaned closer "How is this possible despite having been in London for a while now and only just now have arrived?" she felt panicked looking around "Oh I-um I did, didn't I?, must have forgotten that" she nervously chuckled.
He leaned closer "Really? And something as important as that?, I thought you cared dearly for Felix" she quickly said "I do!". Gabriel nodded "Yes you do, he is your only son". Ameilie nodded she could practically feel the hot water she was in, Gabriel had too much ammunition this man clearly had enough time in his lifetime to do similar tactics like this, he had too much free time. He smirked moving back "I will get back to you later I have something I need to check" she nodded "Go do that!". He nodded and left the door slowly closing, she looked at it thinking hard of an excuse to use. Gabriel stood by the staircase, and waited for Ameilie to text him. He heard a 'bing'. He looked at his phone 'Gabriel I am here, tell me if she is there now'. He texted her quickly 'Good you are fast, no she is not there now she is in the back-go to the right side of the mansion there will be a door there that leads to the kitchen, only me and Nathalie can open it Adrien can't'.
He put his phone away when he felt it vibrate. He took it out 'Okay going there' he left her on read and silenced his phone putting it away. He went to the kitchen and heard knocking on the door, he went over to it and saw Ameilie wave at him he opened the door in a different way than the other doors in the mansion function since there is a reason why only him and Nathalie can open it, "Ameilie come inside" she nodded and they both went inside. Felix stood at the top of the staircase on the right side he saw Ameilie and Gabriel…odd, he walked down the stairs saying in the middle of the staircase "Hello mother, what are you doing with uncle?" she looked at him, oh she loved the hell out of Felix but he is dead! Her soon to be dead son made it to the bottom of the staircase and she said "We were discussing a few things, that's all nothing serious". He nodded and turned to her smiling.
"That is all?" she nodded "Oh. Are you doing well mother?" Ameilie nodded "Very thank you for asking Felix", he nodded "Glad you are"...now seeing him act like this was, ugh! He had a way of making it harder to be mad at him, but she still was anyway it was possible. "Felix I have to say something to you", Gabriel glanced at her questioningly she nodded he understood what she wanted to say to Felix. Felix looked from his mother to Gabriel and back to his mother narrowing his eyes "Wait-does he already know something?", she nodded "He does…Felix I know you left London and came here, I came here to Paris today". Felix nodded "Yes you are here?...I mean I already saw you around here-"No I know you heard what I said clearly, Felix did you do something?" he shook his head "I didn't".
She sighed knowing she wouldn't get much out of her son. But her worry and concern was still there, so she went over to him and hugged him "Don't ever run away from me again you hear me?!" he nodded, his head on her left shoulder…wait…she knows, oh fuck he is screwed-fuck. "Yes I do" he returned the hug, more tightly than he meant to. He did miss her, he closed his eyes comforted by the love of her and had missed her quite a lot.
"I missed you mother" he nuzzled on her shoulder, she felt touched by that "Oh-oh-oh Felix I am still mad at you but I missed you too, I know you must have missed me". She stroked the back of his head moving his hair, he nodded 'I know", after a moment she gently let go and sighed "While we are here, I do have to talk with some of the guests so you can go to Adrien for now…we will have to leave you hear me?" he nodded "I do mother", Ameilie grinned and walked off nodding gratefully at Gabriel.
Gabriel simply watched this interaction then left to go talk or his other things, Felix furrowed his brow this was bad now what?...he would have to think of it later, he unfurrowed his brow and walked up the staircase going to Adrien's room. Walking in the room he was met with Adrien standing in front of the couch smiling, moving his arms about talking animatedly to Kagami. While she peacefully sat on the couch taking in each of his words, nodding and occasionally commenting her own thoughts or display of emotion.
Chloe, the snob huffed biting back whatever Kagami said, whatever emotion she displayed Chloe fought back it angered him of course, thinking Kagami should have the chance to say something or express something without the constant belittlement from Chloe Bourgeois. He had no idea why Adrien was friends with her, oh and what made it worse was that she only agreed with what Kagami said if Adrien said so. Felix, irritated by now, walked in the room and sat to Kagami's left side, she looked at him "Oh you're here" he nodded at her smirking "Figured out my name?", she shook her head smiling "You amuse me…Felix is it?" he nodded "What gave it away?", he already had an idea of what but decided to let her explain in her thoughtful and wispy like voice, yet it was also strong in its own right "I realized you looked familiar, I had decided to search up if there was anyone famous that looked similar to Adrien. You could say I got quite the impression, 'Cold prince'" he lightly laughed, smirking as he leaned closer.
"Smart of you, I am his cousin by the way if you were wondering" she looked at him with amusement in her eyes even if her lips didn't quirk in any shape or form "Not necessarily, I was wondering more about you personally". He raised an eyebrow, actually rather shocked at that "About me?" she nodded and he lowered his eyebrow leaning back "Alright, what do you want to know then? Perhaps I could delight you with detail after detail?" he winked at her playfully, she hummed for a second as if thinking "That would be something" his eyes glittered, pleased she presumed.
He seemed to drawl conversations as much as he could. Catch every little bit of information he could grasp, soaking all the information till it shrivelled up like a raisin under the hot scorching sun. Kagami was interested in him, the type of person he was which is why she had agreed to having detail after detail slammed onto her, he immediately started talking "Well how about the general stuff?, what I like?". She nodded "What you like". He thought about it, what he liked?...ah he had it! "I like to read quite a lot, the more it has in it the more I like it" he gently laughed "nothing romantic though, no I prefer other types. Thriller, the classics, mystery, something with a deeper message about issues, all that. Oh and by 'The more it has in it' I meant the more depth it has in it the more I like it". Kagami nodded intrigued, so she spoke despite being more of a 'Listen till they are done then speak' type.
"Really?, must say your tastes are intriguing" he smiled "Glad you like it!. I wonder, do you like reading historical fiction?" she nodded "Although I prefer reading stories of real people and autobiographies, I do read some fiction like that" his smile grew wide "Great! Oh! And what about thrillers?, or mystery?, how about any with a message in it? A message or warning about an issue in society, humanity itself or perhaps about advances in technology or any other form of advances?" she had to admit the barrage of questions had shocked her. She chuckled, he tilted his head "What?". She shook her head "Nothing just shocked by the barrage of questions you hurled at me is all".
He laughed "Sorry, is it too much?" she shook her head "No apology needed I am fine with answering it all". Felix had that one spark of curiosity, intrigue and excitement in his eyes he leaned on the armrest of the couch behind him arms crossed and legs crossed, more casual now-at home really, "Then tell me what you think of it" he softly smiled "one at a time if preferable", Kagami nodded thinking of what he said. The first three questions, what she thought of thrillers, mystery or about any books with a message in it after she would tackle the whole part about messages.
"I believe that a thriller could serve to heighten our imagination, thrill us even as the name suggests. Entrap up, ensnaring us in the story driving us to fuel our minds even after putting the book down. For a thriller is always about what could happen in real life, not if something bizarre that could not be happened in real life as a fictional story with monsters would" he nodded taking that in…he agreed with her "I agree, sound logic you have" she smiled grateful for the compliment "Thank you, for the compliment" he shrugged "Your welcome". Kagami noted how he always had something to say, whether it be a barrage of questions or some sort of comment "You have a quick tongue, always coming up with the next thing to say". He smiled examining Kagami and her professional stern posture despite her eyes, smile and words telling a different tale "Comes with being smart. Well smart-witted that is".
She said without much thought "Smart in two ways you mean". He smirked "You think I am smart?, I mean I am but really?" she nodded "You present it clearly Felix". He nodded, focusing his eyes on her's, the world once again the backdrop. Her and him, Adrien and Chloe gone from his sight not interested in them, Adrien looked at Chloe she looked at Adrien and rolled her eyes huffing 'Doesn't he realize the obvious tension between them?, instantly connecting'. Chloe however wasn't blind, she was spoiled and a brat but not blind to the tension of love she went over to Adrien and pulled him over to the restroom holding his right arm in her right hand. She turned around and closed the door and turned to Adrien again, hands on her hips "Adrien Agreste, don't you know how attracted they are to each other?".
Adrien blinked "What?", she sighed "Adrien they like each other!" He noticed that they seemed close but wasn't it too fast? "Chloe, wouldn't it be too fast?" she nodded "Yeah but they match each other perfectly, so of course they would grow closer! Besides not like you know if they already met, it seems like they did for they were already sort of chummy with one another."..."Don't say chummy ever-"Adrien who cares!". He sighed thinking about it, actually she was right they seemed closer already so they must have met already "True…so what now?" Chloe sighed grumbling "Oblivious dorky boy, we should try getting them closer so they fall in love!" Adrien looked at her "Shouldn't we let them do it on their own? It seems to be working easily so far and we should see how they are doing now". She sighed unlocking the door "Fine" Adrien went to her left side and saw Felix and Kagami talking "Nothing much it seems" commented Chloe, Adrien nodded she was right well until that happened that is.
Felix smirked "Now that I know your thoughts on those types of books, how about we combat?" she looked at him deciding to play along again with the wit their chat had for a while now "You mean fight?" he nodded "Essentially, so?" he waited for her response, getting up, he extended his right hand, she looked at it then at his hand his eyes soft and his posture calm waiting for her to take his hand. It was different than before, before it was casual but with wittiness involved more snarky but now it was different, kinder, and softer. She liked both sides though, both were polite as always, she took his hand getting up "I accept it, let's begin Felix De'vanily". He smiled "You remembered my preference" she nodded "It was a moment ago", he smirked getting ready to fight "It was wasn't it?".
She nodded swinging a roundhouse kick to his right side he leapt back then leapt forward landing a gentle kick to her stomach pushing her back a bit, "You are fast" she smiled "So are you" she got low on her right hand and swept him off his feet swiping her left leg across his ankles he gasped and fell down she went over to him about to place her foot gently on his stomach to win. That was all, this was a playful fight in the end he however got up and tripped her she fell down, he went over and decided to gently place his foot on her stomach she however rolled to the right.
He walked over to her and asked "Are you alright anyway?" she nodded "The kick was fine, it wasn't too hard, nor was the trip too bad" he nodded saying "Let's keep on then?" she nodded. Felix went ahead leaping over to her. She got up and held his right arm and twirled him around against her. He smirked twirling the opposite direction and pulling her near him they stood there looking at each other "You're a good fighter" she grinned "So are you"...he smirked "Too bad I'll do this now" her eyes went wide seeing him put her back against the wall and put his right foot against her stomach "Well I won".
Kagami smiled "You did, have to say that was thrilling" he put his foot down "Did any of it hurt too bad?" she shook her head, "If we do it again you are free to do those sort of tactics in it. Just don't be rough", Felix nodded, wiping the dust off her clothes "Sorry about that" she wiped the dust off his clothes "It is fine and fair". He walked back and she stepped away from the wall, Adrien watched this and looked at Chloe "Seems like these two have a thing for play fighting" she nodded smirking "Oh look at them" Chloe casually walked to them "So Kagami bet you won't get Adrien huh?".
She looked at Chloe "I suppose not", she laughed "Isn't that something?. Maybe he'd like me!" she pointed at herself with her right hand, Felix rolled his eyes "He would have dated you by then if so" she rolled her eyes "He just doesn't know it yet". Felix didn't think that "Sure believe that". Adrien looked at Chloe "Chloe please be nice" she huffed, Felix rolled his eyes "Anyway bye Chloe, Adrien I am going to do my own thing…have something to do" he looked at Kagami smiling "Bye red ruby" he softly said to her he left going out the room…"They definitely met before", Adrien nodded "Definitely".
Kagami, intrigued by Felix, followed him, she saw him look around deep in thought he had to think of what to do, his mother had found him the only way to do the plan was to have more time here. He would sneak out of this place later, now he had to find the tablet he put on a small eyepiece to see through things, Kagami hid watching curiously. First he went to Gabriel's room searching it carefully, unfortunately he couldn't see anything at all. No tablet, he went over to his office. Next he searched around, narrowing his eyes at every little odd bit…he smirked, "I was right wasn't I?" that hidden spot, he turned around gasping when his eyes settled on Kagami "Kagami-what are you doing here?" he looked around "I didn't hear you", she nodded "Exactly I didn't want you to hear me".
He nodded, removing the eyepiece, "Right-so why did you follow me?". She looked at him, she hummed, adding "I did so because I knew you were doing something, so what is it?". Felix looked to the right wall there was a window there, a fair tree over there…he had to lie, hm but how?...he said, examining the greens of the trees and the wispy clouds in the sky "I was searching for something, my mother had lost it I imagine…perhaps it isn't lost though?, I am not sure" Kagami examined him for a moment. He glanced at her with his eyes staring attentively at her "I don't fully believe that". It was unfortunate she had not believed him.
"Even then it doesn't matter because it is true, anyway I have to keep looking" he walked out of the room Kagami went over in front of him "Felix, what is it that you are doing?" he sighed "Nothing is going on. I just have to find something" she frowned "You are hiding something I can tell". He smirked at her and patted her head "Maybe you can but it doesn't change much" she was shocked for a moment, realizing that he had done that to distract her mind "You did that on purpose" he chuckled not denying it.
He put the eyepiece on and looked at the secret room, he narrowed his eyes. There, the tablet he smiled while taking it off and knew he would have to figure out how to open it, he looked around, if he could find a tool to break it then he would be able to get inside. Kagami watched him as he looked around "What are you looking for?" he looked at her "I need a tool, one that can break it…" he smirked and walked off "I know what to do". He went over to Nathalie "Nathalie", she looked at him Kagami watching at a distance "Yes Felix?", he smiled "Do you know where the tools are, if any at all?" she raised an eyebrow "And why do you need to know?", he had to make an excuse, any at all "I need them, I am fixing something" she nodded and showed him where it was.
"Perfect, thank you Nathalie," she nodded. Felix walked in grabbing a hammer he would have liked to grab a sledgehammer though that would have been very useful but really who would have that in a home?, like a regular person or a rich person even?, "I have to ask why are you behaving strangely Felix?" he turned around hammer in hand "I am not acting strangely" he walked off with the hammer "I am being my usual self" she couldn't deny that he was but something was off she stared at him she closed the door behind her and walked off.
Felix quickly ran to the secret room and took a hard swing at it, making a dent on it. Duusu flew out "So you found it?" he nodded, Duusu giggled doing a loop "This is exciting!" he smirked "It is isn't it?", Duusu nodded and he took four or five good swings at it, the hole now present he made it bigger by digging the back of the hammer and cutting it through to make it bigger. There he saw it, the room he had to open the door…"Duusu?" she looked at him "Yes Felix?" he smirked, glancing from her at the door and back at her "I think you know what to do", she grinned nodding and flew inside working on unlocking it, he heard a click and the door swung open presenting Duusu wiggling her tail.
He patted Duusu's head with his right hand "Aren't you fast?" she giggled rubbing her head on his hand. He put his hand down Duusu to his right side, Felix examined it seeing that there was a tablet there he picked it up and closed the door hearing the locking system automatically lock. Next he turned it on, a code…he sighed thinking of what it could be, Adrien's birthday? He tried that, no it didn't work. Gabriel must know that would be too easy, his son is famous so if Gabriel ever had put it as Adrien's birthday he must have decided to change it for Adrien is famous. Gabriel and Emeilie's anniversary?, he tried that out. No not that either, he then realized something, "Duusu can you quickly go and see if you can find out when Gabriel met Emeilie" Duusu nodded and flew off.
He knew that Gabriel was meticulous in everything he does, every important date to him was sure to have it written down on the images he has. Adrien's birth, the aniversarry of Gabriel and Emeilie, Adrien on his birthdays, maybe a gathering or two, special events to Adrien, holidays with Adrien and Gabriel or Emeilie or Emeilie and Gabriel, he believes even one of him and Adrien they were close when younger. He sighed and walked in Gabriel's office…it was of Adrien the image on Gabriel's desk, he looked at it realizing it was of some time back he imagined it was a week back it looked natural though he took the picture out of the frame, he looked at the back and decided to see the computer he realized it was turned off. So he turned it on, he had used the security cameras once to figure out the code to Gabriel's computer then made sure the footage was deleted from everywhere in the security system.
Felix looked at the schedule timestamp of when the image was taken…no photoshoot…Gabriel had taken this with Adrien being his natural self, "Huh some devotion he has" he put the image back in the frame. He looked around he saw the right wooden cupboard with glass doors, he walked to it and saw a image of Gabriel and Emeilie he recognized it, Ameilie had shown him once since she had taken it and saved the extra it was of their anniversary and that time his mother had come to visit he however wasn't born yet and neither was Adrien.
A long time ago though, he looked at one of Adrien on his first birthday, one of Adrien's first christmas, Gabriel and Emeilie on easter and other holidays their first holidays together, Adrien on his first day of school Emeilie probably took it but yet Gabriel kept it, Adrien when he was born it showed Emeilie there laying there grinning at who he knew was Gabriel, Adrien there wrapped up and it was those types that can fold or be for two images so the next was outside their home with Adrien in both of their arms he thought Nathalie might have taken it…no she was behind them so someone else had taken it.
Nathalie was smiling, clearly happy as the new mother and father were. Another was of their marriage, it showed his mother, Nathalie, some friends and predictably none of his mothers parents. One of valentines with Emeilie giving Gabriel some gifts, also another with Gabriel going all out on valentines of course he did Felix softly chuckled. One with mothers day, Adrien pestering his mother but she looked happy and loving seeing what Adrien had made for her, one with Gabriel on fathers day he clearly did not expect the surprise and he is certain Emeilie had taken that one, he thought of the pictures he had seen taken of him and his mother.
One on his father and mother's marriage, however neither looked like they wanted it with the latter trying to seem happy but Colt being rather aloof. He knew his mother's father must have taken it, ugh oh and then no anniversary at all, one on valentines but it was simply her and him later on the years she had taken it of him and his mother both smiling and having fun since she had proclaimed 'The love of a son is equal to that of love for a husband, since I have no love for my husband you my lovely son will take the mantle of love-will you like that?' he of course had said yes, eagerly actually.
So therefore all the rest were of him and her, she looked far happier since they did that. One of his birth, she looked so happy with Colt lacking much emotion, he believes that it was Emeilie that had taken it…oh right she did, and Ameilie had written Gabriel as family so he was allowed to join. He actually remembers this image of Gabriel with him as a baby, looking awkward holding him since Ameilie had thrust him into Gabriel's arm and also one with Emeilie she simply grinned, not awkward at all.
Easter's, Christmases, new year's, all other holidays were of him and her. Both smiling, everything was about him doing his first thing. His first birthday, his first play whatever it was it was about him, he had begged her to take some of her so she did. Of course she did, she would be there near him during all the new things in his life, she also had her own first things too doing new things, going new places all with him. Actually once he was alone with a nanny he behaved not wishing her to have to abandon it all since she was out and about having the high time of her life, she had returned with images of her and the place. It saddened him now that he thought of it, she had no one to share her beautiful memories and moments with yet Emeilie got all that and more, a loving husband, a successful one too that cared for their child, support, friends…he sighed looking down.
"Felix?" he looked over his shoulder and grinned "You found out didn't you?" she nodded, "So tell me when they met" Duusu nodded and told him. Felix walked over to the tablet and put it in, it worked "Oh I knew it was that! God he cares so much about his family and wife".
Inside he found files and files, he went through each one and the trash eventually he found it and it was the grimoire. "Aha!", he went ahead downloading everything to his phone in case he were to lose the grimoire. Felix walked out with the tablet and phone back in his pocket, Kagami however saw him do this she went up to him and said "Felix you lied to me. How could you?!" He looked at her, narrowing his eyes "It is fine and it was necessary." she shook her head "It wasn't!" he sighed "Kagami it was, please let me go". She shook her head "I can't believe you would lie to me like that!, we could have figured it out. Or Adrien even, you are his cousin right?!, I thought you would at least attempt answering honestly!".
He closed his eyes before opening them looking at her, he snapped "Don't make me say sorry, I am not a fool" he walked off before pausing at the doorway "I won't be fooled by you, you don't care, no one does and neither do you. So don't make me say sorry, you can't fool me with that act". He left, Kagmai stared at him shocked.
