Peter found himself in a strange, dark place, surrounded by an eerie atmosphere. In front of him was a small table and two armchairs, with a turned-off television. On the table, an incomplete comic book caught his eye; it only had the Marvel Comics logo, but the strangest thing was that he wasn't alone. As he turned, he saw Doctor Strange approaching.

"Doctor Strange?" Peter asked, still trying to make sense of the situation. "What's going on? Where am I?"

Strange walked over to one of the chairs and leaned back in it with a calm expression. "You're somewhere in between, Peter," his voice calm. "And we have much to discuss." Using his magic, he moved the two chairs so they could both sit.

As he settled in, Peter couldn't help but ask, "By any chance…did he die ?"

"No, you didn't die," Strange replied. "You're just unconscious. We're in your mind, somewhere in between." Then he clapped his hands twice, and the surroundings changed from black to white, illuminating in an almost surreal way. Strange turned on the television, which, instead of broadcasting channels, showed memories.

Peter stared at the screen, his eyes wide open as he watched the battle with Elsa. "This is… incredible," he murmured, feeling shocked as he relived those intense moments. Strange, watching the scene, paused and listened. "You avoided the worst, Peter…"

"What thing?" Peter asked, feeling increasingly confused.

"It's none of my business," Strange said, "but at the same time I don't want you to figure it out. All I can tell you is that you prevented a return."

Peter frowned. "Back?"

Strange continued, without going into too much detail. "With every event that occurs in everyday life, people face unexpected events. Accidents, layoffs, grief, disappointment, or the most mundane: death. There are some events that affect a person's life, and most people ask themselves the same question: 'If I had the chance to prevent it again, how would I do it?'"

"And how?" Peter asked, feeling more and more intrigued.

"Apparently, the universe gave that gift to one person… but apparently, now there are two," Strange explained, leaving Peter even more confused. "What does that have to do… with me?"

Strange turned off the moment on the television where Peter fainted, looking into his eyes. "It's about everything, Peter. You still don't understand what this means. You have the gift of fixing everything... going back to fix it. But there's a curse..."

Peter, though surprised by the revelation, was intrigued by this gift. "What curse?" he asked.

"To go back… you have to die… suffer," Strange replied, his expression serious.

Peter remained silent, processing the information. The idea of suffering to obtain that power unsettled him. Strange, sensing the concern on Peter's face, added, "Peter, you will go through things that no human being could ever overcome. Remember, you have Subaru and your friends. You are not alone. If everything I told you starts to happen, please go to them. Please..."

Peter moved forward slowly, feeling overwhelmed but determined. He didn't know what the future held, but he wanted to be prepared. Strange She sighed and saw Peter beginning to wake up. "I think you're about to wake up. I just have one more thing I want to tell you... Don't make deals with a white-haired woman named Echidna . And one more thing, most importantly: don't make friends with a one-armed knight. The man who won't show his face."

Peter listened, feeling increasingly anxious. Before everything began to fade, Strange said, "I'll see you later…"

With that, Peter closed his eyes, and everything faded away.

Upon awakening, Peter exhaled, letting out the breath he'd been holding. He raised his hand to look at it and noticed he wasn't wearing his suit. Confused, he sat up, feeling a strange lightness. He stood up carefully, examining his surroundings. He was in an elegant room with two large windows, a table adorned with vases, and luxurious decorations.

Peter looked at his stomach. There were no cuts, no scratches; it felt like he'd never been hurt. "What the hell...?" he muttered, sighing in relief and surprise.

When he stood up, he noticed he was wearing a light robe. Intrigued, Peter walked barefoot to the door. Upon opening it, he found himself in a long, luxurious hallway. "Am I in a mansion? Am I in Emilia's house?" he wondered, feeling a little out of place.

"Hello?" he called softly, looking around. The doors along the corridor offered no response. As he walked, he noticed something strange: the same corridors repeated themselves over and over again. The same paintings, the same tables, the same lamps. A feeling of strangeness came over him.

"Okay… I'm stuck in a loop…" he thought. "So how do I get out of here? Is this a trap?" Confusion and anxiety began to grow in his chest.

Peter stopped, looking around, trying to find a path that would lead him to the exit. "I must find a way out of this place… something isn't right," he told himself. His instincts whispered to him to proceed with caution.

As he continued his exploration, he realized that space seemed infinite, yet claustrophobic. Every step he took brought him closer to the unsettling truth that he was trapped in a cycle, a maze with no way out.

"Where is everyone?" he murmured, feeling more alone than ever. "What's happening to me? Why am I here?" Uncertainty consumed him as he continued his search for answers.

Peter looked at every door in the hallway, feeling a mixture of anxiety and curiosity. "Will any of those doors get me out of here?" he wondered. "I need to find Subaru…" His eyes fell on a door in front of him.

After a moment of hesitation, she paused and closed her eyes, trying to activate her spider-sense. When she opened them, she realized there was no danger warning. "Well, if there's nothing dangerous... let's go in. Curiosity killed the cat..." she said, and with determination, she slowly opened the door.

As she crossed the threshold, she found herself in a brightly lit library, lined with shelves stacked with books. Her surprise increased when she noticed that, in the center of the room, a little girl sat in an armchair, absorbed in a book. She had long, cream-colored hair tied in two long, coiled pigtails, and blue eyes with a pink butterfly pattern in the center. Her dress, adorned with pink ruffles and bows, along with her stockings and shoes, gave her an air of sweetness. A small crown adorned her head, with a butterfly-shaped ribbon tied to her cape.

The girl looked at him with disdain. "What a troublesome man you are…"

Peter shook his hand, feeling a little bewildered. "Sorry to interrupt… I'm just looking for a guy… his name is Subaru."

The girl looked at him with disdain. "The only annoying and useless man here is you. You're the only one who came in here without permission. How unpleasant you are..."

"I was just asking…" Peter replied, feeling somewhat shocked by her words. "I apologized for interrupting you. No need to insult me."

"If you want me to leave you alone, get out of here," she retorted disdainfully.

Peter, indignant, exclaimed: "Listen, miss! I was just trying to find a way out. I only asked you a question, that's all. Respect your elders, girl!"

She frowned, lowering her eyebrows slightly. "I don't respect uneducated people."

"Listen! I was actually polite! I was actually nice about apologizing and asking!" Peter felt frustrated. "So you're the rude one!"

The girl pressed her lips together, and Peter continued. "You're the rude one who doesn't respect her elders! You're the one who's in the wrong!"

She, clutching the book in her hands, stood up from the armchair. "I have a lot to do and you have a lot of questions. Time to teach you a lesson in manners."

Peter, feeling a little more assertive, crossed his arms, trying to convey self-respect. The girl didn't frighten him, but her dismissive attitude irritated him. "Something to say?" she asked, staring at him.

"I have nothing to say to you," Peter replied, trying to maintain his composure.

Suddenly, the girl reached for Peter's stomach. "What are you doing?" he asked, feeling uncomfortable.

That's when he felt an electric shock run through his body. He staggered backward, and finally, he knelt in pain, clutching his stomach. "What did you do to me?" he asked, stunned.

"I just gathered mana from your body," she explained indifferently. "It was to confirm that you're not an enemy. But… you're only half-baked."

Peter, weakened, managed to raise his body a little, supporting himself on the ground. "Aren't you… human? I mean your… power, your… mind… your mature personality… you're not a child…"

The girl looked at him with a mixture of surprise and disdain. "It took you a long time to notice. You don't try to measure and correct a noble by his standard, human."

Peter worried as he stood beside her. Trying to shake off the fear, he challenged himself. Little by little, he stood up, regaining his strength. "Do you think I'm just another human? What do you think now?"

She didn't react, just looked at him with disdain. "It's nothing new to me," she said, sighing. "Apparently, lecturing you isn't enough." She raised her hand toward Peter again.

"Do it! I have resistance in all—" Peter began, but was interrupted when he was brutally thrown out of the room by the girl's air magic. He collided with the hallway wall, feeling the impact.

Lying on the ground, Peter tried to get up, but his body was weakened and he was on the verge of fainting. Before he lost consciousness, he said to the girl, "Forgive me, child… is that what you wanted?" With that, he fainted.

Peter's faint lasted for a few minutes, and when he finally woke up, he found himself in a bed. He didn't get up immediately; instead, he stared at the ceiling, pondering. "Did I faint? I shouldn't have provoked a child... without knowing she wasn't human..." He covered his eyes with his hand, trying to collect his thoughts.

Suddenly, he heard two female voices, sweet and calm, saying, "Ah. She's awake now, Sister." The other replied, "Yes, she's awake now."

Hearing their voices, Peter sighed. "I hope they're here to give me a happy ending. If not, what a waste."

But the girls responded: "What a rude man. Did you hear me, sister?"

"Yes. The words of an ill-mannered man," the other added. "Aside from that… a nobody and a human… my dear sister."

Peter took his hand off his eyes and sat bolt upright, worried. "Don't get me wrong, girls. It was just a joke…" Looking at the girls, he was struck by their beauty. They both had a slim appearance and fair skin. Their hair was straight and short, but different colors: one pink and the other light blue. They had straight bangs, and their eyes were different colors: the blue girl had sky-blue eyes, while the pink-haired girl had red eyes. They both wore black headbands with white flowers and a black-and-white maid outfit.

Peter, feeling a little blushed, scratched the back of his neck. "I think… I should apologize to you two… and a kiss will do." He smiled tenderly, but the girls didn't seem to mind. Peter looked to his right and left. And Peter said, "Where are my clothes?" The blue-haired maid took out his clothes and said, "They were dirty, I washed them." The pink-haired girl mentioned something to Peter. "The clothes looked horrible. I begged my sister to burn them, but she wouldn't obey. She told me it was rude to burn someone's clothes without their consent."

Peter looks at them somewhat concerned and says, "Okay… thanks for not burning my clothes."

Peter grabs his folded clothes. Peter smiles and looks back at the maids to say, "Excuse me, but this is kind of embarrassing. Could you please leave the room? I need to change, and it's a little awkward."

"Sister?" asked Rem, the blue-haired girl. "The boy is ashamed of his body. As if we care."

"That's true," said the pink-haired Ram. "He's acting all cocky. He's trying to win us over."

"It's not what you think!" Peter exclaimed, growing increasingly frustrated.

Emilia appeared in the doorway, smiling playfully. "You can't wake up normally without causing an argument."

The maids exchanged glances before Rem said, "Miss Emilia, the man is trying to flirt with us by saying she has a nice body. That's abuse and harassment toward us."

"My sister is right," Ram added, his voice calm and cool. "I was being harassed and flirted with inappropriately by that man."

Peter was outraged. "It's not what you think! I just asked you to leave the room so I could change!"

Peter sighed and said, "I try to be nice, but I say stupid things … but I don't do it on purpose."

"Just like me, Peter!" Subaru exclaimed as he entered the room. Peter smiled at the sight.

The two friends approached and bumped fists, exclaiming in unison: "Brother!"

"Brother!" Subaru repeated, smiling as the two shared a moment of camaraderie.

Peter stood up and walked over to the chair where his clothes were: a pair of jeans, a blue t-shirt with Captain America's head and the letters " You're looking at a legend ." He started laughing and asked Emilia, "Where did you manage to get this shirt?"

"Actually, I got it," Subaru replied. "It was inside the motorcycle. Makeshift clothing," he added, pointing to a bag full of clothes.

Peter looked at him with admiration. However, discomfort crept in again, and in a nervous tone, he said, "Excuse me, but that would be very rude of me… I need some privacy to change."

The maids, their cold gazes on their faces, intervened again. "Miss Emilia," Rem said, "as I said before, a man is trying to flirt with you, saying you have a nice body. That's harassment."

"That's true," Ram said, just as calmly. "As you said, my sister was being harassed and flirted with inappropriately by that man."

Peter, feeling frustrated, shouted, "I told you it's not what you think! I just want to change!"

Emilia, still amused, turned to the maids. "Stop bothering him."

Subaru joined in. "Yes! Just like Emilia said! Stop bothering…!" He stopped, noticing the maids staring at him menacingly. "Just… stop bothering Peter… okay?" he muttered, ducking away a little.

Emilia, with a smile, left the room, followed by Subaru.

"Are you… going to leave…?" Peter asked, feeling anxious when he saw that the maids didn't move. "Will you please… leave?"

However, the two maids kept their gazes fixed on him. Peter sighed, feeling increasingly uncomfortable. "Well… if not… just turn around," he said, and to his relief, they both obeyed and turned around.

Taking advantage of the situation, Peter took off the robe they'd put on him. He looked at himself in the mirror, adjusting his hair, which was cut in an open-book style. As he took off the robe, he realized he was only wearing his black boxer shorts, which had a hilarious Captain America design with the phrase "Captain America is impressed by your rifle!" which made him smile.

As he dressed in his trousers, the maids still didn't look over. However, Rem, filled with curiosity, couldn't help but glance back. She saw Peter partially naked, admiring his muscles.

"Sister Rem, stop looking at him," Ram said, though she couldn't help but watch as well.

"Sorry… the guest is taking a while to dress," Rem replied, embarrassed by her own curiosity.

"Is that your excuse for seeing her body?" Ram asked, a slight smile on her lips. The two maids exchanged glances, maintaining their cold demeanor, but it was clear the situation had created an interesting dynamic between them and Peter.

Peter, having finished dressing, felt a little more comfortable, although the tension in the room was still present. "Ready to give me some space now?" he asked, trying to lighten the mood.

"If you want us to stop staring at you, you should have gotten dressed faster," Rem replied with a mischievous smile.

"It's not my fault!" Peter said, feeling somewhat embarrassed. "I wasn't prepared for this… and I think these clothes are already outdated. They're too small for me."

After changing, Peter determinedly opened the door and walked out to find Emilia and Subaru. Upon finding them, Emilia suggested they go outside to the courtyard to relax. "Ready for some fresh air?" she asked with a smile.

Both boys enthusiastically agreed, and as they walked, Peter took the opportunity to ask Emilia a question. "You cured me, didn't you?"

Emilia nodded. "Yes, I healed you, but I had a problem trying to remove your weird outfit… thanks to Subaru for helping me with that."

Peter looked at Subaru, who gave a proud thumbs-up. "That's the good thing about knowing a friend well!" he said with a smile.

Looking under his clothes and seeing his stomach was completely healthy, Peter sighed in relief.

Stepping out into the courtyard, both Peter and Subaru were struck by the sheer size of the mansion and the wide-open field that stretched out before them. "What a beautiful place!" Peter exclaimed. "I wish this was where the graduation party could have been."

Turning around, he saw Subaru stretching his body out in a strange way. "Subaru… what are you doing?" he asked, feeling slightly puzzled.

Emilia also looked at him, her expression doubtful. "What strange movements? What are you doing?"

Subaru responded enthusiastically, "It's the ancient warm-up exercise practice of my homeland."

Peter rolled his eyes in amusement and said, "I know what you're planning… you're a weirdo, Subaru…" Despite that, he joined Subaru in his jumping.

"Emilia, come with me! Same to you, Peter!" Subaru shouted, encouraging his friends.

Peter hesitated for a moment, but finally sighed and joined them. "Okay… what do we have to do?"

"Exercise one: radio exercise two… jump with your feet together to loosen your body!" Subaru ordered.

Emilia, a little reluctant, felt a little suspicious, but went with the flow. Seeing her friends jumping, she couldn't help but join in. "Huh? What? What?" she muttered, trying to keep up.

Subaru continued with other movements, lowering his body and propping himself up with his hands. Peter followed him, and little by little, Emilia joined them, although somewhat embarrassed.

As they stretched and twisted their arms, the little girl from the mansion watched them from a distance, expressionless.

"Now raise your arms and shout 'victory'!" Subaru announced at the end of the routine.

Both Peter and Emilia raised their arms excitedly and shouted in unison: "Victory!"

Just then, Emilia's cat, Puck, popped out of her hair, shouting the same thing. "Victoria!" he exclaimed, hovering on Emilia's head. Then, he looked at the boys and said, "Good morning, boys! It's a nice morning, isn't it?"

"Good morning, Puck!" Peter and Subaru greeted.

" Mmm … a little bit since early this morning. Caught in a loop in the hallways… and knocked out by a non-human girl. But, on the bright side… yeah, it's a good morning, I guess," Peter replied, feeling more relieved.

Subaru added with a smile, "And pouring out the sweat of passion with Emilia. Don't forget, Peter."

Emilia turned her head to Subaru, blushing slightly. "Don't make it sound so outrageous," she said, looking at Puck. "Good morning, Puck."

Puck lowered himself to Emilia's hand and settled in. "Good morning, too. As I see, you've solved yesterday's problem, haven't you?"

Emilia smiled. "Yes, but everything got pretty messed up. But thanks to the kids, we managed to sort everything out."

Puck, with a grateful tone, said, "I can't thank Peter and Subaru enough… so I must do something for them…"

"Let me pet you whenever I want!" Subaru interrupted, raising his hand.

"Is that all?" Emilia asked, surprised.

Subaru replied seriously, "For a top-notch fur master like me, being able to bask in its fur is as valuable as several million. Look at those ears! I love how soft it is!"

As Subaru petted Puck, Peter watched, enjoying the moment. "I think you have a good way of saying thank you, Subaru," he commented with a smile.

Puck felt relaxed as he was petted. "I can almost read your mind," he said, enjoying the attention. "I know. But I'm surprised you can say it."

At that moment, Puck looked at Peter. "I still have to thank you… so… what would you like as a reward?"

Peter shook his head immediately. "I don't need any reward. No money, no praise. I'm fine this way…" He felt a little awkward rejecting it.

Emilia, puzzled by Peter's response, said, "You guys are weird."

"I know," Peter replied, laughing as he reached over to pet Puck. "But that's who we are, isn't it?"

Emilia smiled, watching the friendly interaction between them.

Emilia, Peter, Subaru, and Puck were enjoying the outdoors, sharing laughter and good times in the courtyard. However, the tranquility was interrupted when the two maids, Rem and Ram, appeared. Emilia looked at them and asked curiously, "Huh? What brings you here?"

"Miss Emilia," Rem replied, bowing. "Our master, Lord Roswaal, has returned."

"Please come back inside," Ram added, his voice polite but cold.

Change of scene.

Peter and Subaru entered a large room, which featured a long, elegant rectangular table surrounded by twelve chairs: five on each side and a larger chair at the far end. Looking around, the two boys couldn't help but feel impressed.

As they admired the place, a female voice echoed from a corner. "I was watching from above. You guys seem pretty dumb. Except for you... you're more or less mature..." It was the girl who had attacked Peter earlier.

Subaru looked at her intrigued. " Hooo ... how cute. Who is this loli, Peter? Apparently she knows you."

Peter, irritated and bored at the same time, approached Subaru and warned him: "I met her at dawn today. I recommend you not get too close to her... I'm serious."

Just then, Emilia arrived with Puck on her shoulder. "Hi, Beatrice. I haven't seen you in four days. Have you been doing well acting like a lady?" Puck greeted, smiling.

The little girl's eyes widened in excitement at the sight of Puck. " Packy ! I was hoping you'd come back, Packy ! Will you stay with me today?"

"Sure," Puck replied, jumping from Emilia's shoulder to Beatrice's hand. "We can finally relax."

Peter, now intrigued, asked, "So your name is Betty?"

Puck turned to him and clarified, "Actually, her name is Beatrice. Only I affectionately call her Betty."

Subaru and Peter looked at each other and smiled. Subaru, with his playful nature, commented, "It's nice to meet you, sweet loli Betty."

Beatrice got irritated and yelled at them, "Shut up! Only Pack can call me Betty!"

The two maids sat down, while Peter sighed. "I wish she would treat us with respect."

Emilia, trying to defend Beatrice, said, "She's affectionate with Puck. I don't think she'll show any affection or respect toward you, since she has that personality that doesn't respect anyone."

Peter and Subaru went to sit down, but Subaru wanted to take the largest chair. Peter grabbed him by the jacket and said, "Hey ! No."

"I want to sit down and be the center of attention!" Subaru complained, throwing a tantrum.

Peter laughed and guided him to a nearby seat, where Subaru could do his silly things. They both sat down, but Subaru quickly got up to stand next to Emilia.

"Subaru!" Peter whispered, feeling irritated. "Whatever you do, don't do anything stupid!"

At that moment, a tall man entered the room. His voice had an elegant accent, but his manner of speaking was soft and almost feminine. "My, my. How strange to see you here, Beatrice. I'm glad you decided to have dinner with me."

The girl, still excited about her cat, changed her irritated attitude toward the count. "There were enough meatheads with these two boys… I was just waiting for Packy ." She brought the cat closer to her face to pet it.

Peter looked at the man, noticing his peculiar attire. He had long indigo hair, one eye yellow and the other blue. His eyelids were decorated with purple eyeshadow, and he wore a black hat, red and black boots, and a cape that was purple on the outside and red on the inside. The man's appearance seemed strange and curious to him.

Wondering about his presence, Subaru, in a moment of boldness, approached the earl. "You call a jester to entertain you at dinner? I'll never understand how rich people think."

Peter covered his face in shame.

Emilia, feeling uncomfortable, said to Subaru, "No, no. It doesn't matter, Miss Emilia," the man replied with a smile.

"Actually, that man… is the owner of the mansion," Peter muttered, a little irritated.

The man laughed and addressed Subaru, "Correct, Mr. Peter Benjamin Parker." Then, looking at Subaru, he continued, "I am the owner of this mansion, Roswaal L. Mathers. Nice to meet you, Subaru Natsuki ."

Both boys were surprised to hear their names. "How does he know our names?" they asked in unison, looking at each other.

Everyone began eating at the elegant table in the large room. The maids stood beside Lord Roswaal, maintaining a professional yet cold demeanor. Subaru sat next to Emilia, while Peter sat next to him. However, he couldn't help but feel that Roswaal's presence and attitude were somewhat odd and a bit intimidating.

"This dish tastes good," Peter commented, tasting the soup. "What do you think, Subaru?"

Subaru, savoring the soup with gusto, just gave a thumbs-up sign.

Roswaal, hearing this, pointed to Rem, one of his maids. "Despite her appearance, Rem is a very good cook."

Peter looked at Roswaal and asked, "So, your maid Rem made it?"

"Yes, sir, I'm in charge of the cooking in this house. My sister isn't very good at cooking," Rem replied, keeping her expression cold.

Subaru chimed in, "Twins who are both very good at different things. So, she's good at cleaning?"

Rem nodded. "That's right."

Peter, enjoying the soup, turned to Rem and in a kind voice said, "You must be very talented in the kitchen, Rem. Thank you for preparing this."

However, she didn't make a sound or show any reaction, maintaining her serious expression. That cold stare gave Peter a slight chill, so he decided not to look at her anymore.

At that point, Roswaal asked them, "How did you get to know Emilia?"

Peter and Subaru answered in unison, "We met her in the capital of Lugunica. We just bumped into each other there, that's all."

Curious, Subaru continued, "And I've been wondering ever since. How did we get here?"

Roswaal blushed, his expression enigmatic. "Your confusion is evident from here. As you know, there are decisions that humans make that will have results. And apparently, you two helped young Emilia. And now look how far you've come... You came from Marquis Mathers' mansion in Lugunica, and you informed me that you don't understand anything about this place."

Peter came out of lunch to answer. "If we're from so far away… why the question? Is something happening here in this country?"

Roswaal replied: "Well… at the moment, the condition is acceptable."

Peter and Subaru looked at each other in confusion, then back at Roswaal. "What exactly is happening in Lugunica right now? We're not aware of it..." Peter asked, feeling increasingly uneasy.

Roswaal replied gravely: "Lugunica has no king."

Peter, surprised, didn't move a muscle or his hand, but he was shocked. Subaru, unaware of how serious it was, just said, "Is that the problem?"

"Don't worry, you two. You're all aware of the sad truth," Roswaal said.

Subaru, still trying to understand the situation, commented, "If it had been a secret, they wouldn't have let us leave alive."

Roswaal continued: "Almost as the king went into hiding, an epidemic broke out throughout the castle. The king and his sons were the last of their line. Now, the country is run by a council of wise men who are in the process of electing a new king."

"Now I understand," Subaru said, his mind beginning to connect the dots. "I think I'm starting to remember that when we first met Emilia, we also met a knight. I think his name is... erm..."

"Reinhard," Peter said, looking at Subaru and Roswaal with concern. "Reinhard told us about the candidates and the royal selection. But we didn't know what happened to the king… I thought it was just another selection, nothing more. But it had a horrifying and somewhat shocking context."

Subaru crossed his arms upon hearing Peter, realizing that the latter was nervous, but understanding the context of what was happening. "I see. I'm beginning to understand. Aside from there being no king, the royal selection is causing turmoil in the kingdom. And we appear from another place..."

Subaru stopped dead in his tracks as he came to a conclusion. Peter, noticing that Subaru hadn't fully understood, realized they both shared the same concern. "We're suspicious..." they said to each other in low voices.

They both gulped as Roswaal continued, "And on top of that, you've made contact with Miss Emilia. And you're connected to my house."

Peter, feeling somewhat uneasy, looked at Roswaal and asked, "So... why do you call Emilia 'Miss'? That term implies that she's single... it's also used as a respect for a woman who owns something or holds an important position..."

Roswaal raised his hands with a smile. "It's only natural to address someone of greater worth with respect."

"So, aside from being a candidate, that means... Emilia, Marquis Roswaal is your endorser? Is he part of your selection campaign?" Peter said, feeling somewhat nervous that he had guessed correctly.

Emilia, hearing this, felt a little nervous and replied, "Yes, exactly."

Peter clutched his head, overwhelmed by the realization that his situation was becoming increasingly suspicious. The fear of a crisis in the kingless kingdom of Lugunica was causing him palpable unease. He scratched the back of his neck, nervous and worried, while Subaru, beside him, stared at his soup with a puzzled expression.

Both boys realized that, upon arriving at the mansion with Emilia, who was a candidate for the royal selection, and with Roswaal as their support, they could be misinterpreted as spies or impostors.

Suddenly, Emilia pulled out the badge and placed it on the table. "That's why there was such a commotion yesterday. This badge is vital in determining whether someone is worthy of taking the throne. Spies or impostors trying to enter the royal selection."

Subaru, alarmed, shouted at her, "Did they steal the insignia that qualified you to rule the kingdom? You must be more careful, Emilia!"

She, feeling a little indignant and nervous, replied: "It wasn't my fault… the thieving girl was an expert at stealing."

Peter, reflecting on the seriousness of the situation, added, "I wonder what would have happened if you had lost it completely. I doubt there are any offices where you can apply for another badge."

Roswaal intervened, his tone stern: "Well, if you lose it, there would be no question. They say that whoever can't protect a small insignia couldn't rule the nation, so that would be the end of it."

Peter and Subaru looked at each other, and Subaru smiled proudly. "That's true. Peter did a great job and effort in getting her back."

Peter, however, said to Subaru, "You also contributed."

Subaru gave a thumbs-up and said, "That's true. We've both made a great effort. The two of us as a team to reclaim the badge."

Emilia is annoyed at their camaraderie. "It's true, you both did a great job retrieving the badge and, at the same time, catching Elsa. That deserves double the reward."

Roswaal's expression changed, fading from his smile to a negative but shocking reaction. The maids widened their eyes, and Beatrice, who was feeding Puck, also turned around, surprised to hear that Elsa had been caught.

"Well, well. I wasn't notified that you two were responsible for catching the famous assassin Elsa. That's very surprising and wonderful. What Emilia said is logical. You deserve double the reward," Roswaal said, raising his arms excitedly. "You can have any reward. Declare whatever you wish."

Peter was about to refuse the reward, as he didn't accept rewards or flattery. But before he could say anything, Subaru rose from his seat with a laugh that sounded excited and somewhat malicious.

Peter, feeling suspicious, failed and hoped Subaru wouldn't say something foolish or offer an absurd reward. So he chose to continue eating his soup in silence.

"In that case," Subaru began, "I only want one thing."

Peter, hearing this, covered his head with his hands, feeling that something bad was about to happen. Everyone at the table paid attention, even the maids, Emilia, Beatrice, and Puck, all of them were expectant.

"Oh no!" Peter thought as he continued eating, feeling the embarrassment beginning to build up.

Subaru, with a dramatic air, continued, "Hire us to work on this mansion!"

The statement shocked Peter. He choked on his soup and accidentally swallowed the spoon. He began beating his chest as he tried to catch his breath, spitting out the spoon in the process.

"Phew! Peter, are you okay?" Subaru asked, alarmed.

Peter breathed in and out with difficulty, holding his head as he tried to process what he'd just heard. Then, he lifted his head and forced a fake smile. "You can wait a few minutes. I'm going to talk to Subaru..." he said, pulling Subaru a little roughly toward the exit, leaving the two of them in the hallway to discuss what he'd just proposed.

"What the hell was that, Subaru?" Peter asked, still feeling agitated. "Why would you want to work here?"

Subaru, with a smile that never left his face, replied, "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Peter. Imagine all the adventures we could have in this mansion! Plus, we could help Emilia and be closer to the action."

"But, Subaru, we could be misunderstood. We don't know anything about this place or what's going on!" Peter retorted, worried. "Don't you realize we could be in big trouble?"

"I know, I know," Subaru said, raising his hands in a gesture of calm. "But what if this is what gives us the key to understanding everything? We can use this opportunity to learn more about the situation in Lugunica , and perhaps, help Emilia on her journey."

Peter and Subaru continued arguing in the hallway, where Subaru made a comment that rang with truth. "Besides, I'm not taking advantage of this just to be near the beautiful elf . I'm doing it to find a place for us to stay."

Peter, covering his head, exclaimed, "Did you just admit it… you only want to be with the elf ?! For God's sake…"

Subaru, feeling a little indignant, reminded him, "Didn't I tell you I'm not doing this for Elf Archer ! Well, I am somewhat in love... but I'm doing it so we'll have a place to stay! Let's face it... we didn't know where to stay when we got here. It was just a bit of an unforeseen event... we didn't know we'd be teleported away. So... ten cents. Was it a good idea or not to propose working here?"

Peter, somewhat suspicious, reflected. "Well… that's true… Besides, I still don't know how to use the currencies of this world… and I can't read or write the language of this place… so… it's okay…"

Subaru raised his fist enthusiastically. "Yes! That's the way to go!" His smile showed his satisfaction with his friend's response. "That's what I wanted to hear! Now, let's return to the table and prepare our strategy."

But before they could turn back, Peter stopped him. "Wait... let me tell you something first. If this doesn't work out and everything goes to hell, I swear I'll ask for both of your resignations... and we'll leave... far away from the elf . The hard way, we figure out how to survive in this world... while Strange tries to find us and get us back home. Okay?"

Subaru, feeling a little discouraged by the abruptness of the warning, finally climbed in. "All right. Okay..."

"Okay… now let's go back to the table… but first," Peter asked, "where did you leave my motorcycle?"

Subaru looked at him with a mischievous smile. "Somewhere safe…"

Peter looked at him suspiciously, but decided to trust him. "Well, let's get back to the table."

Change of scene.

As they reached the table, Roswaal looked at them and asked, "So, what did you and your friend discuss?"

Subaru, raising a smile, replied, "He wants to be hired too."

Peter sighed . "Back to work…"

Change of scene.

In a large hall filled with various gowns and dresses, Peter and Subaru stood in a corner in front of a mirror. Subaru looked at his servant outfit with disdain. "This… doesn't fit me…"

Emilia, upon hearing this, commented: "Wasn't there anything else in your size?"

Subaru shrugged and replied, "Strangely… there were only girls' outfits." The outfit was too big and unflattering for him.

The maids present couldn't help but comment. Rem, her expression impassive, said, "We're very sorry, sir... I mean, Subaru..."

Ram, with a mocking smile, added : " You look ridiculous , sir … I mean … Balse . " (バルス, Barusu )

Peter, confused, looked at Ram. "What a clever nickname…"

" Hey, you guys aren't going to turn my name into a curse!" Subaru protested irritably.

Ram looked back at his sister Rem and asked, "Rem, do you notice anything when you see Balse's ridiculous appearance?"

Rem placed her hand on her chin, analyzing Subaru. "His shoulders are strange, his legs are short, and his eyes are scary."

Subaru became even more irritated and shouted playfully, "Hey! I can't change two of those things!"

Ram crossed his arms and said, "We can't let you work in such suspicious clothing. I'd question Mr. Roswaal's dignity."

Then, looking at Peter, Ram smiled. "Looking closer at the gentleman, I mean… Petey."

Peter sensed something odd had changed in Ram's attitude. "Hey, why does he give me a cute nickname? He wanted an insulting one like Balse."

Subaru shouted, "Don't be a masochist! Yours is better than mine!"

Ram, ignoring the argument, said, "Well, let's not change the subject. Take off those clothes, Balse, and see if that suit fits Petey."

" What?" Peter was surprised, but at the same time, he prepared to take off his clothes. "Okay…"

As he took off his shirt, revealing his good physical condition, all the girls, including Subaru, looked at him curiously. Subaru made a kissing sound, which surprised Peter.

" Don't do that again, please!" Peter exclaimed, blushing.

Subaru laughed. "What? I can't mark my territory?"

Peter, irritated by Subaru's behavior, continued changing.

Change of scene.

Finally, Peter put on the suit, which had become too big for Subaru, but was perfect for him. Ram looked at Peter and commented, "You look good, sir… I mean, Petey."

" What do you say, sister?" Ram asked, while Rem analyzed Peter.

" Well, your shoulders look pretty good for someone who will be working as a servant, your legs are big and strong enough to fit those pants well , and your eyes…" Rem stopped, feeling slightly embarrassed, though her expression remained cold.

Subaru shouted, "Haaa... They praise Peter for being big and strong... and I don't! What an irony of the universe! This writer is really obsessed with Spiderman. What are they going to say? Aside from my eyes being scary... Peter's eyes are actually in the image and likeness of a god!"

Peter scratched the back of his neck, feeling uncomfortable. Emilia, laughing at the situation, said, "Well, I'm off. I have to study for the royal selection. Good luck with your new jobs, guys."

Subaru gave a thumbs-up and replied enthusiastically, "Yeah, let Peter and me handle it."

Peter was led by Ram to another part of the room, where he would measure his feet to create shoes for him. " I'll measure you. Just raise your foot and sit down so you don't get tired," Ram instructed.

Peter sat down and lifted his foot. While Ram measured him, Subaru stood beside him, being measured for his own suit. Peter conspicuously watched the interaction between Ram and Subaru, enjoying teasing them a little. However, as he looked at Ram, he blushed at her hair and serious expression. He decided to look away.

"Excuse me, Rem…" Peter said, remembering he needed to ask her a favor.

She, still focused on measuring his feet, replied, "What's up, Peter?"

"I take it you're a maid. You know how to read and write. And as you know, we're from somewhere else. We're foreigners... and the problem is, we don't know how to speak the language here. But we don't know how to write or read. My question is, could you give Subaru and me private lessons? I'm not asking for much, it's just a small request... if you have work or too much to do, I understand."

Rem looked at him and replied with her usual serious expression. "Sure, Peter, as long as you don't get distracted and do anything stupid with each other."

Change of scene.

Ram led Peter and Subaru around the mansion, starting with the guest room. "This is the guest room," she explained as she opened the door.

Change of scene.

They continued showing them every important part of the mansion: the bathroom, the kitchen, and the laundry room. Peter and Subaru were frustrated by so much information.

"This mansion is huge. It really has so many rooms," Subaru commented, looking around.

Curious, Peter opened a door and found himself in the library. In the corner, Beatrice was petting Puck. "You're amazing, Packy ! Your fur is the best!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Noticing them staring, Peter hurriedly apologized. "I apologize!" He quickly closed the door before Beatrice could do anything.

Subaru, wanting to annoy Beatrice, opened the door again. "I want to hear about…" But upon opening it, he realized he was in a normal bathroom, which left him confused.

Ram explained, "It's the gate crossing. They crossed Miss Beatrice's gate."

"So there's a door-changing spell that connects to any door in the mansion. Wow, that's interesting," Peter commented.

Ram ascended. "It's standard practice when Miss Beatrice is in her room. There'll be no way to find her except by trying every door."

Peter, using his spider-sense to calculate, approached another door and smiled. "Bingo."

Subaru, excited, approached. "Is that it?"

"Yes," Peter replied. "But I'd better open the door."

He walked over to the handle and turned it. When he opened it, Beatrice stood there, surprised by his repentant entrance.

"Here is your divine queen, darling !" Peter exclaimed, but Beatrice glared at him angrily.

"You picked the right door…" she said irritably as Subaru walked in, ready to annoy her.

"Well, now that I'm here... I'd also like to massage a cute kitten. But first, I'd like to meet you... We only met in the dining room. So how come I don't know you? I'll ask you... Were you the Earl's sister?" Subaru asked.

Beatrice, with obvious irritation, replied, "I never wanted to be your sister!"

"Beatrice is the librarian of the forbidden library of Roswaal," explained Puck, who was still being hugged by her.

Peter, shocked, said: "We didn't know that entering here was forbidden."

Ram approached the door and said, "Lord Roswaal is the greatest sorcerer in the kingdom. He has many books that no one else can see, and Miss Beatrice must protect them."

"You guys already know, get out now!" Beatrice shouted, taking control of the door and slamming it in Subaru and Peter's faces.

The two stood stunned, touching each other's faces as Peter complained, "Now what did I do? I was just asking..."

Change of scene.

In the courtyard, Rem stood before the two. "That concludes the tour of the mansion. Any questions?" she asked, looking at them.

Peter raised his hand and began to ask a long list of questions. The questions were numerous and complex, leaving Subaru, a little amused, and Rem, with the task of answering.

"Then there are no questions," Ram said, walking briskly. "Your work begins right now. You must tend to the yard and garden, help with lunch, polish the silverware, air futons, wash clothes, clean the bathroom..."

The two of them were amazed at the sheer number of tasks. Peter gave Subaru a mischievous smile and said, "This is what you wanted, isn't it? Now bear with it."

In their assigned rooms, Peter lay on his bed, feeling a slight ache in his hand. He looked at his palm as he massaged it, remembering how exhausting the day's work had been. "Since when did I get carpal tunnel syndrome?" he wondered, sighing and resting his shoulder against his face, feeling a little defeated.

That's when Subaru walked in, greeting him enthusiastically. " Hey , Peter! Ready for another round of work?"

Peter raised his hand in greeting, trying to hide his frustration. "Yes, as long as you don't ask me to clean the bathroom again," he replied, remembering the odious task he had performed.

Subaru, still crouching down while adjusting the servant's clothes, gave his back a painful tug. "Don't worry, friend. We're going to work as a team today!"

The two began to talk about how hard work had been that day. Just then, a small knock was heard at the door.

"I'm Rem. Are you ready to study?" the maid called in her usual voice.

They both stood up, feeling the pain in their bodies, but still having enough energy to study. Peter got out of his bed, and Subaru sat up from his chair at the desk.

"Come in, we won't do anything weird to you," Subaru said, laughing a little.

Rem, on the other side of the door, replied, "That makes you two sound less trustworthy. Excuse me." She came in with some books and blank sheets of paper. "Well, let's begin."

Change of scene, in the morning.

Peter and Subaru were in the kitchen with the twins, preparing to cook. While they were peeling potatoes, Subaru began to struggle with the knife, resulting in a small cut on his finger.

"You may be good at cleaning, but in the kitchen, you're useless with a knife," Ram told him, looking at Subaru with a mixture of seriousness and mockery.

Subaru, irritated, replied, "It's shocking that you're so obviously biased! But say something about my work."

Ram looked at the potatoes Subaru had peeled with difficulty and commented, "I feel sorry for the farmers who harvested them."

"Please, stop hurting my heart!" Subaru exclaimed dramatically.

Ram, unfazed, said, "You don't know how to handle a knife, Balse. You have to hold it steady and turn the vegetable. Honestly, my best dish is steamed potatoes." She held up a neatly sliced potato, looking proud.

Subaru, frustrated, replied, "How can you say that with that triumphant look! But at least say something to Peter, who's also here peeling potatoes!"

The twins turned to Peter, who was humming along with his headphones on, skillfully chopping the potatoes. With almost artistic flair, Peter twirled a potato on his finger like a basketball. Then, with a precise motion, he sliced the potatoes, tossing some into the air and gracefully catching them.

Ram and Rem were impressed. "A perfect cut. Good use of your hand, I think I have an opponent," Ram said, looking at Peter in admiration.

"At least he's better than Subaru," added Rem, who couldn't help but smile slightly.

Subaru, irritated, shouted, "Enough! My favorite sword! It's the shooting star! I'll show you two how to cut a potato!"

Before he could demonstrate his skill, Subaru cut his finger again with the knife, shouting, "It pierced me!"

Peter, observing the scene, smiled sympathetically. "Hey, let me help you… I'll show you how to use the knife," he offered, approaching him.

Raising his hand, Peter held the potato in one hand and the knife in the other. "Look, it's easy. First, hold the knife steady and place the potato on the cutting board," he explained as he guided Subaru.

"See, it's simple," Peter continued, sliding the knife carefully, cutting the potato with precision.

Subaru smiled, seeing that he had managed to cut the potato correctly. "Great, I thought it would be difficult, but no. Thanks, friend…"

"You're welcome, that's what friends are for," Peter replied with a genuine smile. Meanwhile, Rem and Ram watched Subaru and Peter approach, feeling a little embarrassed and curious at their closeness.

Subaru, feeling a little anxious, interrupted: "I'm not gay…"

Peter quickly replied, "Me neither."

Change of scene.

Later, Peter and Subaru were cleaning a small hallway, wiping the windows and dusting the books. They both tried hard, even though the task was exhausting, and they laughed at the small distractions that occurred.

Change of scene.

Later, they found themselves washing dishes, where Peter helped Subaru at all times, trying to make the job easier for his friend.

Change of scene.

Later, they were cleaning the bathtub, mopping and brushing. The day was long, but they both knew they were doing the right thing by helping.

Change of scene.

Finally, Peter and Subaru met outside in the yard, in front of a large wooden bucket filled with dirty clothes and soap. They both scrubbed the clothes, but after a while, Peter's hands began to feel numb.

"Hey, look at this!" Subaru said, laughing as he pulled a strange bra out of the bucket. He put it on like a crown, making them both giggle a little.

However, upon seeing Ram approaching, they both immediately stopped laughing and became serious, returning to their work.

Change of scene.

Later, while Peter, Subaru, and Rem were trimming bushes, Subaru cut his finger again. Peter, as always, came to the rescue. "How many times are you going to do this, Subaru?" he asked, feeling a little exasperated, but also worried.

"Sorry, sorry…" Subaru apologized, trying not to look embarrassed. "I just need a little more practice."

Peter sighed, "Come on, I'll teach you again. This world can be complicated, but you don't have to do it alone."

Change of scene…

It was their second day at the mansion, and exhausted, Peter and Subaru were mopping a hallway. They both looked tired, but the routine was necessary. At that moment, the twins, Ram and Rem, appeared.

"Peter, Subaru, we need you to accompany Rem to do some shopping in the nearby town," Ram said in his usual tone.

They both looked at each other, feeling tired, but accepted the proposal.

Change of scene, in the village.

Upon arriving in town, Peter accompanied Rem on some shopping trips. Meanwhile, Subaru realized he'd made friends with all the local children. They watched him play and laugh, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of envy.

"My friend, I told these children a little about you! Do you want to play with us?" Subaru asked Peter, approaching him excitedly.

Peter looked at him, tired. "I don't know… besides, remember, we only came to help the maids."

Rem, leaning slightly, said, "You can go play with the children. We'll wait for you here."

Peter was surprised by Rem's response and excited, appreciating her flexibility. "Are you sure?" he asked.

"I'm sure. Come on, don't waste time with me or I'll change my mind..." Rem urged him.

With a smile, Peter joined Subaru, who was already running toward the children. They played with them for a while, laughing and enjoying each other's company.

They met a girl named Meili Portroute , who was a little shy. "She's quiet, doesn't talk much, but she's good," they explained to the children.

While interacting, Peter and Subaru noticed Meili carrying a small dog. They were both drawn to the adorable animal and asked permission to pet it.

Meili looked alarmed and agreed. "Sure! You can pet him!"

The dog, with its soft fur, let himself be petted, and Peter noticed a bald spot on its head. "Look, it's funny," he commented, laughing as he stroked the puppy's head.

Just as he was about to pet the dog's bald spot, it tried to bite him. But, thanks to his quick reflexes and spider sense, Peter managed to dodge the bite. "That was close!" he exclaimed, laughing.

Change of scene.

Later, Peter and Subaru left the children and joined Rem, who was waiting with some shopping bags. "They're very popular with them," Rem commented, smiling slightly.

Both boys sighed, excited and a little tired. "Very popular with the kids…" Subaru repeated, feeling like he'd made some good friends.

"Peter is experienced with children. He's a good babysitter..." Subaru joked.

"I'm very experienced at that," Peter replied, laughing, then becoming a little more serious. "But it also scares me a little, seeing how they behave."

Rem looked at them with interest. "Children observe a hierarchy, just like animals. They know when it's okay to look down on someone or not."

The two boys looked at each other, taking Rem's words into account. "Those children are naughty!" Pedro exclaimed. "Even though we had fun with them, they still showed us no respect or compassion."

Subaru climbed in. "That's true. Thanks to Peter for calming them down, we managed to get away from them."

Rem, smiling, continued on her way to the mansion, while Subaru and Peter followed her. "Shall we show you two something worthy of respect?" she asked.

The two boys looked at each other, considering their answer. " Mmm … no…" they admitted in unison, even though they knew they had had fun.

"But it's because we really have fun," they concluded.

At that moment, as they were walking, Rem jumped to avoid a puddle, but Subaru, trying to do the same, slipped and fell. Peter, quick as lightning, caught him before he hit the ground.

They both started laughing, enjoying the moment. "See? Always ready to save the day!" Peter joked, helping Subaru up.

"Thanks, buddy! But maybe I should stop trying to be a hero on this mission," Subaru replied, laughing alongside him.

Peter, Subaru, and Rem continued walking through the mansion's courtyard, enjoying the fresh night air. Conversation flowed easily between them, and Peter couldn't help but share his thoughts. "I wonder if your sister Ram would manage without you..." he said, looking at Rem curiously.

Rem responded with a slight smile, though her expression remained serious. "My sister is wonderful, isn't she?"

"Something…" Peter muttered, a little doubtfully.

Subaru, ever the immature one, didn't miss the opportunity to intervene. "Your sister has a personality that would cause unnecessary conflict. Although her confidence is charming..."

"That's true," Peter admitted, nodding. "He's so confident…"

"That makes her wonderful," Rem concluded, a glimmer of admiration in her eyes. Peter, however, was slightly surprised by the intensity of her statement.

"Why do you think that? Why do you admire your sister so much?" Peter asked, feeling the need to understand the bond between the twins.

"Is there anything wrong with that?" Rem replied, still calm.

"No, no. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just... I've noticed you look up to your sister in a strange way. You say you can't be like her... but even though she's confident, she still makes mistakes at work. You have so much faith in your sister, and that's not normal... you seem like a demonic fanatic..." Peter's words came out before he could think them through.

Both Subaru and Rem were surprised by Peter's reaction, gulping at the awkwardness of the moment. Rem, with a serious look, asked, "Demonic?"

"Well… erm, I mean… like a religious fanatic… but 'demonic' sounds weird, I think…" Peter said, scratching the back of his neck, trying to correct his mistake.

Rem, with an eyebrow raised, asked, "Do you like demons?"

Peter remained silent, unsure of how to respond. Subaru, observing the scene, alternated glances between Peter and Rem, sensing that there was more to her question. "Why ask something so strange? Because she would have to, or because she would ask about demons? As if it were important to her. It's as if she were a…" He thought, beginning to understand the subtext of the question. With a mischievous smile, he decided to interrupt. "I'll go ahead…" he said, winking at Peter as he moved toward Rem. "Just tell her yes…"

Peter looked at Subaru, confused, as he walked away. "What…?" he mumbled, not quite understanding.

As Subaru walked away, Peter cleared his throat and said, "Yeah, some... I've met some demons, and they're actually good people. Those people didn't ask to be born as demons. That's why I have affection and respect for them. If I had the chance to date a demon girl... I wouldn't turn it down... I'd be by her side... maybe I'd marry a demon girl."

Rem smiled slowly, and Peter's expression turned confused at her reaction. "Why is she smiling?" he thought, feeling a little blush.

From a distance, Subaru watched the interaction. "Dude, you got a double prize!" he exclaimed, jumping up to Peter with joy.

Rem, coming back to reality, said, "I'm not forced to tell my sister."

"I wasn't flirting with you!" Peter shouted, embarrassed. The three of them continued walking back to the mansion…

Change of scene…

In Count Roswaal's office, the atmosphere was calm but fraught. Roswaal sat in his chair, staring out the window, while Ram settled into his lap, resting her head on his chest. The moonlight dimly illuminated the room, creating dancing shadows on the walls.

"How have you done since then?" Roswaal asked, looking at Ram with interest.

"These kids arrived at the mansion five days ago. We should have seen something by now. They cook, clean, and tidy… they're useful in every way," Ram replied in his calm, relaxed voice, though without any sign of emotion.

Roswaal smiled, a little impressed. "You're quite strict, Ram. But what do you think their potential is as spies?"

Ram didn't hesitate to answer. "I can't deny it, the possibility exists, but it's limited. For better or worse, especially for worse. It's very striking."

Roswaal raised his hand and placed it gently on Ram's shoulder. "And if he's very conspicuous... despite that possibility, young Subaru is very carefree."

"But… even if there's a chance they're not spies… there's only one I have a bad feeling about… Peter. Although he clearly has the same attitude as Subaru, it seems he's the only one who's more mature than Subaru…" Ram mused, staring off into space.

"That's true… even though he has the same attitude as Subaru, I've noticed that he answers or speaks like a coherent person. And I think I'm causing him suspicion. When he was in the dining room, he never took his eyes off me… perhaps there's a small possibility that he's a spy or a danger to the mansion. But the way I see it, it would be best not to interfere yet… since those two are just children. Young… but even if I leave them alone, nothing will happen."

Roswaal turned his head to look out the window, enjoying the moonlight illuminating the dark landscape. "I just have one more question… They're charming, aren't they? They both have an enthusiasm I can't compete with."

Ram smiled slightly. "Only in Peter… he has great enthusiasm, twice as much as Subaru. When Subaru failed at his jobs, Peter came to his aid. The two of them behave like brothers, or as brothers truly should."

Roswaal watched Ram with interest, noticing how his gaze softened when he spoke of Peter. "Don't you think I'm praising Peter too much? A few minutes ago, we were wondering whether he was a spy."

Roswaal smiled, seeing how tender the moment was. "I see… it's rare for Ram to value someone so much. It seems young Peter has managed to capture Rem and Ram's attention… passion is a wonderful thing."

Change of scene, outside in the courtyard…

Meanwhile, Peter and Subaru sat on the ground, enjoying the magic show Emilia was performing. The floating stars glittered in the air, creating an almost magical atmosphere.

"It's a beautiful thing to see…" Peter murmured, watching in fascination.

Emilia, completely focused on her summoning, gave them a smile. "It's not very fun to watch, is it?"

Subaru, always ready to flatter Emilia, responded enthusiastically, "Nothing boring about being with you, Emilia!"

Peter couldn't help but smile at Subaru's response. It was kind of funny and cute watching him try to win her over. "As you know, when I'm with you, something unexpected always happens... but that's part of the fun. That's why I like being with you... Emilia and Subaru."

Emilia, still concentrating, said, "That makes me happy. Even though you two are flattering me…"

Peter, raising his hand in a gesture of sincerity, interrupted: "Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to… I just said what I saw, nothing more."

Subaru scratched the back of his neck, thinking. "There's a good reason why I would do it on purpose… We haven't had the chance to talk for several days."

Peter nodded, understanding. "Yes, that's true… we haven't spoken in a while. Everything's been so busy with homework…"

"It must have been difficult for you two… learning your jobs here," Emilia added, looking at them empathetically.

"It's true… it was difficult for both of us…" Peter admitted, feeling the burden of the day beginning to weigh on him.

"Yes, it was difficult!" Subaru exclaimed, finding a dramatic expression. "I would like your comfort in your arms, breasts, and lap in constant rotation."

Emilia, sitting next to them, laughed at Subaru's exaggeration. "If you can joke around like that, it seems you're fine," she said, lightly tapping him on the forehead with her finger.

Subaru, playing along, dropped backward onto the floor. Peter couldn't help but laugh at the comical scene. He approached Subaru, who was still lying on his back, and said in a playful tone, "I don't think you have a chance yet with her."

Subaru didn't reply, but smiled as he looked up at the starry sky. "The moon is beautiful..." he said, his tone melancholy.

Peter remained silent for a moment, feeling the atmosphere become a little more serious. "Are you flirting with me… or was it with Emilia?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Emilia," Subaru quickly replied, as if afraid Peter might think otherwise.

With a mischievous smile, Peter sat next to Subaru. Emilia joined in as well, forming a small circle on the ground. "The moon is beautiful," Subaru repeated, as if the phrase held a deeper meaning.

Emilia looked at him gently. "But it's beyond our reach."

Peter, seeking to give the conversation an optimistic spin, whispered: "But not everything is impossible… especially for our world…"

Subaru, feeling a little discouraged, complained, "I tried to find a moving answer from Emilia, but Peter already told me…"

Peter, sensing the conversation was getting deeper, interrupted, "Sorry to interrupt." A light laugh escaped him.

Emilia, intrigued, asked them: "What are you really looking for?"

Subaru straightened, looking at Emilia sincerely. "You wouldn't understand what we want. We both want what we want at the exact moment. We want it from the bottom of our hearts."

Emilia opened her mouth slightly, confused by the intensity of his words. Peter continued, "What we seek. We always find. The things we always ask for. Subaru is here with you, enjoying being by your side, Emilia. I, for one, haven't yet managed to search for what I find. But I'm happy when I find small things... I'm not that person who only obsesses over grandeur. I only seek... one thing... that truly makes me happy."

Subaru looked at Peter with a mixture of compassion and understanding, sensing that his words concealed a deep sadness. "Actually, you already looked for him…" he said, trying to comfort his friend.

Peter, smiling weakly, replied, "Only half… but I'll still keep looking…"

As Subaru watched the sky, he began to recount his experience upon arriving in this world. "When we arrived here, we were super excited. But after a few minutes, we realized the reality we were living in. We thought we wouldn't have anything to look forward to tomorrow. We didn't know we'd be here, not knowing what would happen to us. But we had each other, Peter and I. When I asked Roswaal about work… now I think about it… I should have asked for something else. But I can't lie to myself. If I had asked for something else, Peter and I would be lying dead somewhere else. Maybe Peter would have swindled Roswaal out of a fortune for the two of us to spend. But… living with Peter for so long, his ideologies of kindness rubbed off on me."

" Hoo . Thanks, buddy..." Peter said, feeling touched by Subaru's sincerity.

Emilia, overhearing the conversation, chimed in: "What you said a few moments ago... that you should have ordered something else. You would have been better off asking to be a guest instead of an employee."

Subaru stood up, shocked, clutching his hair. "I didn't think of that!" he exclaimed, frustrated that he hadn't thought of it sooner.

Peter, observing Subaru's reaction, said, "Actually... I did think about it, I was just hesitating..."

Subaru, looking at his hands, noticed the scars he'd acquired during his time at the mansion. "How embarrassing..." he muttered, raising his hand and hiding the scars from Emilia.

"Do you want me to use my healing magic?" Emilia offered, ready to help.

"No, I'm fine like this," Subaru replied, trying not to look weak.

"Come on, buddy… let me help you," Peter insisted, feeling he should support him.

"No. It's better this way... since they're proof of my work. In fact, I've already gotten used to the cuts. Learning something I couldn't," Subaru explained, with a mixture of pride and resignation.

Peter smiled to himself, thinking, You really are similar to me… but, unlike me, it was the blows he took in every battle. He remembered his own scars, the times he'd been hurt: cuts on his face and abdomen from the Green Goblin, bruises on his torso from Doctor Octopus , scratches from Venom and Sandman, and the scar on his chest from a bullet while protecting Captain America from the Punisher. But here I am, still standing.

The night was drawing near in the mansion's courtyard, and Peter watched Subaru and Emilia exchange words. "You're an idiot…" Emilia said to Subaru, smiling knowingly.

"What's with the reaction? You should fall in love again now!" Subaru retorted, trying to keep the tone joking.

Peter, feeling the lightness of the moment, couldn't help but put on a dramatic voice: "Ah, teenage love blooms in the air!"

Emilia, a little flustered, replied, "I never was." Then, she looked at Subaru and said with a smile, "You silly girl." Her face lit up, creating an adorable moment between them.

A small gust of wind blew, causing Emilia's hair to fly. It was an almost romantic moment, and Subaru couldn't help but admire its beauty. Peter, sensing the atmosphere, commented, "Where did that wind come from? Is it like this was scripted?"

Subaru, his voice delighted, said, "Ema…"

Emilia, confused, turned her head toward him. "Ema?"

"Ema means Emi. You're my angel," Subaru explained, not missing the opportunity to flirt.

Peter, laughing, interrupted: "That's not true…"

Emilia, looking at him curiously, said to Subaru, "I was thanking you, but you keep joking around like Peter… I know you and Peter work hard, but why do you end up like that, Subaru?"

Peter, trying to defend his friend, said, "They're just minor accidents. Don't blame him."

Subaru added with a smile, "But at least you avoided a dog bite in the village. Thanks to that, I didn't get close to the dog..."

Peter, recalling the experience, replied, "But still , I was hurt by those little goblins."

"You mean children?" Subaru asked, laughing a little.

Peter, somewhat embarrassed, replied, "Those children are ruthless."

Peter recalled the fun they'd had with the children. "But at least I managed to calm them down and play with them... in fact, I think I have a commitment to play with them again..." he commented, sounding excited.

Emilia irritated, "They seem like good kids…"

Peter was about to answer, but he noticed Subaru smiling suspiciously. "What happened?" he asked.

Subaru, with a sparkle in his eyes, said, "Actually, I sympathize with them too... I also have a commitment to them, but also to the townspeople. If you'd like... you can join us, Emilia." He approached her eagerly.

Peter, watching the interaction, couldn't help but celebrate in his mind that Subaru was finally making moves. "Come on, buddy! You can do it!" he thought with a smile.

Emilia, considering the proposal, replied, "Well... as long as I have time for my royal selection studies. But yes..."

Subaru was angry, seeing that Emilia had agreed to the date. Peter blushed at Subaru, feeling like they were achieving something special.

"Okay, guys, don't be quiet. Let's go back to the mansion. It's freezing in here!" Peter exclaimed, standing up and starting to walk toward the mansion's entrance.

However, before he could enter, Peter stopped Subaru. "Wait!"

Subaru turned to look at him, and Emilia also turned to hear what he was about to say.

Peter looked at Emilia and then at Subaru. "I need to talk to you about a small matter…" he said, pulling Subaru aside.

Emilia, feeling that it was a good time to leave, said: "Well, I'll leave you… I have to go… see you later…"

"Goodbye!" Subaru shouted excitedly.

Once Emilia left, Subaru looked at Peter and asked, "So, what's up?"

Peter, a little worried, said: "During these five days, you haven't told me where you left my motorcycle…"

Subaru sighed , trying to calm him down. "Friend, calm down. I left it in a well-hidden place. It's close by..."

"So guide me? I have something to find," Peter replied, feeling anxious to get his bike back.

Change of scene.

As they walked back to the courtyard, Subaru asked, "What you were looking for was a camera?"

Peter, with a nostalgic smile, replied: "Yes, because I have my cherished memories here…"

Subaru, always curious and a bit of a joker, commented, "Well… I don't mind your business… but let's go inside the mansion. It's freezing in here!"

Both boys walked toward the mansion's stairs, climbing up to the main entrance. Upon reaching them, Peter stopped and said, "You go in, I'll stay here... and relax..."

"Okay, but don't stay out here too long, it's very cold…" Subaru warned him.

"Yes…" Peter replied, feeling the icy air on his skin.

Subaru entered alone, leaving Peter outside in the darkness, alone under the moonlight. He sat on one of the steps, gazing up at the starry sky. Silently, he began to reflect on everything that had happened since they arrived in this world.

Peter sat on the steps of the mansion, gazing up at the starry sky. The night breeze was gentle, and the sound of the wind through the trees created a calming atmosphere that soothed him. The full moon shone brightly, bathing the courtyard in its distinctive blue light. As he looked up, his thoughts wandered, and he felt a little lighter.

As he fiddled with his hands, touching his fingers, his gaze drifted to an object he'd brought with him: his old camera. He held it carefully, appreciating its familiar weight. It was a Sony DCR-SX31E, a camcorder that had witnessed many moments in his life. He opened the camera, checking that it still had its cassette.

With a mixture of nostalgia and excitement, he pressed the controls to rewind to the first recording, longing to relive those memories that had been so meaningful to him. The lit screen illuminated his face as the first recording played: a trip back to his childhood.

The first video:

It was 2002. The image showed his uncle, raising his hands in a sign of encouragement. In the background, a little boy, just three years old, was running unsteadily toward him. It was Peter, and watching him walk, he felt a surge of tenderness. He remembers his aunt filming, laughing as he struggled to reach his uncle, bundled up in a brown jacket, typical of a November winter.

Peter laughed as he remembered how many layers of clothing they put on him to keep him warm. "How exaggerated!" he thought, smiling at his little self taking those wobbly steps.

Change recording:

The video fast-forwarded to 2005. Now, little Peter was jumping up and down with excitement, his face lit up with joy at going to his first school. "Look, the school bus!" his aunt would say, as the yellow vehicle approached. Peter, carrying his Ben 10 backpack, ran to wave goodbye to his uncles, his laughter echoing in the air.

Nostalgia washed over him. "Such happy times!" he murmured as he watched her run, feeling like those moments were a gift.

Change recording:

The screen changed again, showing Peter in 2006. He was sitting in front of the television, singing the Drake & Josh theme song. The footage seemed to be cut off, skipping to scenes of him eating breakfast, watching the Ben 10 series. His aunt told him to wave at the camera, and he excitedly did so, dropping his cereal. "Poor me!" he thought, laughing.

He continued, watching the boy enjoy his cartoons, a genuine smile on his face.

Change recording:

Flashback to 2007, Peter was seen lying on the couch, absorbed in the action of Samurai Jack. The intensity of the series had him completely captivated. When he realized he was being recorded, he looked into the camera and waved with a smile, so innocent and pure.

Change recording:

The filming shifted to a movie theater in 2007, where his uncle handed him a large bucket of popcorn. "Excited, champ!" he said, and Peter, wearing his Optimus Prime mask, jumped for joy. It was the premiere of the first Transformers movie.

"I can't believe I forgot that day," he thought, feeling a mixture of joy and nostalgia.

Change recording:

It was now 2008. Peter was watching the news at home, where they were reporting an accident at the mansion of a millionaire named Tony Stark. Stark's image appeared on the screen, making an announcement that would be etched in everyone's memory. "I am Iron Man," Stark said, and Peter, curious, turned to his uncle and asked, "Who is Iron Man?"

The recording cut out, and Peter recalled that it was at that moment that he learned the name that would later become iconic to him.

Change recording:

The year was 2009. Peter was excitedly watching the moving truck arrive at the house next door. His aunt asked him, "What do you see?" and he excitedly pointed to a little girl. "It's a girl!" he said, overjoyed to have a neighbor.

The aunt smiled, and the recording showed them approaching to meet the new family. That red-haired girl would become an important part of his life. "Mary Jane…" Peter murmured, feeling a tear fall down his cheek. "Why you?"

As Peter watched the recording, his emotions mingled. Nostalgia, joy, and sadness intertwined, reminding him of the happy moments he had shared with his family, but also of the loss he had experienced. The full moon continued to shine, illuminating his face as he let the memories wash over him.

"Mary Jane…" he whispered again, feeling the weight of her absence.

Peter sat on the steps of the mansion, lost in his memories as the moon shone brightly above him. With each recording that passed, he delved deeper into his past, reliving moments that had shaped his life. Nostalgically, he pressed the play button again, and the screen lit up with the next recording.

Change of recording: Year 2010.

The scene showed an excited eleven-year-old Peter walking with his uncles to an Iron Man convention. His uncle, a little skeptical, said, "You're not a little young to be going to conventions that are a bit hard to understand, are you?"

Peter, with his characteristic intelligence, replied, "No! Iron Man is a genius. I can learn a lot from him." His uncles looked at each other, surprised by their nephew's maturity.

As the recording progressed, Peter recalled seeing several androids failing at the presentation. Embarrassed, he put on the Iron Man mask, and when one of the robots pointed at him, he held out his hand as if he were truly the hero. Just then, Iron Man appeared on stage, and Peter felt it had been risky to try to match him.

Change of recording: Year 2011.

Peter's aunt and uncle were filming his school's prom. The excitement was palpable, but it soon turned to sadness. In the footage, Peter was sitting in a corner, tears in his eyes. "What happened?" his uncles asked, approaching.

"You can take me home," Peter said, his voice cracking. He remembered the humiliations he had suffered at the dance, the rejection from his classmates, and the loneliness that had haunted him.

Recording change: Elementary school graduation.

The scene showed all the students applauding while Peter stood to the right, bruised . Although he was graduating, his dejected expression revealed that bullying had left a deep mark on him. He remembered Flash, his bully, and how he had made his life a torment.

Change of recording: Year 2012.

The footage showed Peter filming his uncle's room, his voice cracking as he explained the process of creating his web-shooters. "This is what I'm doing..." he said, a palpable sadness in his tone. He hadn't used a camera for five years.

Change of recording: End of 2016.

The last recording showed him on his birthday. That day, he was alone, bruised and pale. The camera recorded him blowing out the candles on a poorly baked cake, his expression dejected. "Happy birthday to me…" he mumbled, feeling like his joy had left him.

"If anyone… finds this recording, please… enjoy your life…" he said, his voice shaking as he remained silent for a few minutes, staring at the camera.

Recording change: Cemetery.

The camera was now filming a cemetery. Peter was standing next to his aunt's grave. Holding a rose, he approached Mary Jane's headstone. "Why you?" he murmured, feeling a tear fall.

Recording change: Battery Park.

The camera was recording Peter sitting on the seashore, looking out at the view of New York. "It's a beautiful view…" he said, before the recording ended.

Peter slowly closed the camera screen, feeling a lump in his throat. A tear fell down his cheek as he remembered those moments, both the happy and the sad. The moon shone down on him, illuminating his face and providing him with a moment of calm amid the storm of memories.

"Mary Jane…" he whispered, feeling the pain of her absence. Even though he had lost so much, he knew he had to move on. Wiping away his tears, he decided to get up and enter the mansion.

Scene change: Entrance to the mansion.

As he approached the entrance, Peter paused to look at the darkness surrounding him. Moonlight streamed through the windows, illuminating the mansion's interior in an almost ghostly way. He took a deep breath and closed the door behind him, feeling the weight of his anguish begin to fade.

He started walking through the halls, but suddenly he felt something on the floor. As he lifted his foot, he saw a stain of red liquid. "What is this?" he thought, not really suspecting. "I'll clean it up tomorrow..." he said to himself, trying to ignore the feeling that was coming over him.

As he moved forward, he noticed the stains getting larger. His confusion and concern increased when he saw the bloody marks marking a path. "What's going on here?" he thought, moving forward cautiously.

As he turned a corner, he saw a black bundle lying on the ground. As he drew closer, he realized it was Subaru. "Subaru!" he shouted, approaching quickly. As he shook him, he noticed he wasn't responding. "Dude! Tell me something!" Desperately, he shook him. "Bro!" His voice trembled with fear.

He didn't know what had happened or what had attacked Subaru, but seeing his condition, he was overwhelmed. As he hugged his friend's lifeless body, he felt tears begin to fall again. "Who did this to you?" he asked, his voice breaking.

Suddenly, he felt a blow to his chest, which threw him backward. "What was that?" he thought, quickly getting up. "How did I get hit? My spider-sense didn't alert me…"

Peter, sensing danger, raised his fists in preparation for a fight. But before he could react, he felt another presence. "No… it can't be…" he muttered, realizing something was wrong. Peter raised his hands, forming fists to fight, but he noticed something frightening. He felt something missing from his body. Peter looked up at the unlit lamp. An arm. But it was an arm of his. Peter slowly looked down at his left arm. Noticing that he no longer had it. Peter was about to scream, but he received another blow.

There he says the same thing. "Like… like… because I can't detect it… because… my spider sense doesn't alert me." There Peter sighs and starts running. Running away. While running and entering random hallways There finally his spider sense detects him. He dodges something that was about to hit him. Peter keeps running. There he starts running on the roofs to be faster. Peter grabs his bleeding arm. There he arrives in the middle of the hallways. Everything dark without seeing.

"If I can't detect it with my spider-sense, then…" he thought, closing his eyes and concentrating. He began to hear sounds, metal chains clanking in the darkness. A cold breeze passed, and an object flew toward him. Peter jumped to avoid it, but the impact was strong.

"Who are you?! Why did you kill my friend?!"

Darkness surrounded him, and fear gripped him. However, when he heard air again, he prepared to jump and dodge, but this time he had no luck. Feeling vulnerable, he noticed his legs were severed, falling to the ground with a cry of pain.

Peter, crouching down, tried to get up, but the pain paralyzed him. "I can't let this end like this!" he thought, struggling to get up. Looking back, he saw the threat approaching again.

"I don't have time to give up! I must fight!" he shouted, defying the shadows surrounding him.

Finally, the darkness caught up with him, and in a last-ditch attempt to defend himself, he felt a devastating blow to his head. "No..." he managed to mutter, before falling, his body fading into the darkness. The blow was to the head, causing his head to explode. Peter's body lay on the floor. Without his legs or arms. Peter Parker, dead...

Everything was covered in darkness, and Peter felt like his life had come to an end. However, as his eyes slowly opened, he saw the ceiling of a room. "What? What happened?" he murmured, feeling overwhelming confusion. Then he heard female voices, sweet and calm, saying, "Ah. She's awake now. Sister." The other replied, "Yes, she's awake now."

Peter quickly looked up and found the twins Ram and Rem standing on his left side. A glance around showed him the same bed, with the same blanket and robe. "What happened? Did you save me?" he asked, feeling relieved but still confused.

The twins looked at each other, surprised. "This man is crazy," Ram said, while Rem nodded. "Yes, sister, think we know him…"

"Don't you… know… me?" Peter asked, feeling even more bewildered.

"You came yesterday. It was Emilia who brought you here to the mansion," Rem explained, her tone calm but firm.

"Wait, what? Yesterday?" Peter realized something wasn't right. "Where are my clothes?" he asked, searching for answers.

"It was dirty, so I washed it," Ram said, taking Peter's clothes out, a disapproving look on his face.

"It looked horrible," Rem added. "I asked my sister to burn it, but she wouldn't obey. She told me it was rude to burn someone's clothes without their consent."

Peter stared in horror at the clothes being shown to him. "I've been through this before…" he murmured, feeling a chill run down his spine. "I came back, but I don't know how… but I came back five days early…"

At that moment, Emilia entered the room. "Hello, Peter… I hope you're okay. Your friend Subaru is worried sick about finding…" she began, but was interrupted.

"What? Subaru is…?" Peter asked, feeling a knot in his stomach.

That's when Subaru appeared in the doorway, his face reflecting fear. "Dead?" he asked, looking at Peter in disbelief.

The twins and Emilia were confused, unable to understand what was happening. Peter held his head in his hands, trying to remember how he had gotten into this situation. Images of his last brush with death began to flood his mind, recalling the pain of the impact that had led him to this state.

Meanwhile, Subaru looked at his hand, remembering the scars he'd acquired during his time at the mansion. "What happened to us?" Subaru asked, looking at Peter.

"I don't know… but all I remember is that I was about to enter my room, but I was surprised by a strange object… killing me instantly," Peter explained, his voice shaking as he relived the moment.

"That's impossible! You're Spider-Man!" Subaru exclaimed, still in disbelief . "Your power, the Spider-Sense, is the most powerful! How can someone deactivate your Spider-Sense?"

Peter took a breath, trying to remain calm. "It's possible. And there's some logic to it…" he began. "Let me explain it to you in a simple way…"

Explanation about the Brain and the Spider Sense:

"Just like the human brain and the brain of animals, they have the same function, but more so with dogs. A dog's brain is good at recognizing its owner and detecting a person with bad intentions. When someone proves they're not bad, the brain stores information about that person. If it's someone with good intentions, the brain remembers that person. But if it's someone with bad intentions, the brain also records that information.

That's why my spider-sense works in a similar way. It registers the faces of the people I encounter and alerts me to any danger. However, if it's someone who doesn't have bad intentions, my spider-sense doesn't do its job. That person is stored as someone good in my mind. So, if the killer attacked us, it's because my spider-sense didn't detect it. We don't know who it is, but it's clear the killer is here right now.

Subaru was shocked by the explanation, trying to process it. "So, that person who attacked us is…?" he asked, feeling a chill run down his spine.

"Exactly…" Peter said, his voice filled with concern. "My spider sense works like the brain. It stores information about people. And the one who attacked us registered as someone good. That means the killer is here, and I didn't detect him."

Subaru, now frightened, muttered, "If that person killed us, but somehow… we're still alive… does that mean we have another Quirk?"

Peter nodded, feeling reality becoming more complex. "We can come back from the dead," he said, and they both looked at each other, feeling the weight of the revelation.

"Like in 'Final Destination'?" Subaru asked, trying to ease the tension with humor.

They both began to laugh, easing the tense atmosphere a bit. "Yeah, something like that," Peter replied, feeling that, despite the horrors they had faced, they could always find some humor in the situation.

Peter and Subaru left the room, feeling a little relieved after their conversation. Upon opening the door, they found Emilia, who looked at them with concern.

"Is everything okay?" she asked, her tone soft and concerned.

Peter and Subaru exchanged glances and smiled, trying not to show the unease they still felt. "Yeah, we're fine…" they replied in unison, trying to sound convincing.

"Well, let's go to the patio. You guys need to relax a little," Emilia said with an encouraging smile, leading them toward the exit.

As they walked, Subaru whispered to Peter, "If we've already been through this, then let's go through it again…"

"Yes, but this time we'll change a few things," Peter replied, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "We'll do things right… this time without mistakes. This time with good results…"

Both boys followed Emilia into the courtyard, feeling the cool night breeze on their faces. They knew they had a second chance, a chance to rectify the mistakes of the past.

Both boys were determined to investigate the person who had hurt or killed them. No matter the cost; they were willing to face any challenge that came their way. They would repeat the five days again and again if necessary, until everything turned out right.

"It's like a video game," Subaru thought. "Going back to the beginning. Starting from scratch. From scratch…"

End…

To be continued…
