POV Iruka
At the end of the day Iruka-sensei-went to talk to Keigo-san before they left.
"Was that really necessary?" He asked with exasperation.
Keigo-san relaxed back against the wall.
"It was. These kids need to learn respect. Not just for Naruto-san but what could happen to them if they disrespect other people in high places. Everything was above board. No harm no foul. Though I can't say that if he does anything again.
Don't worry I won't grievously harm any of your precious children but if things are bad, they may get a little more hurt than being pinned to a tree in front of their class mates."
Iruka-sensei scowled and wondered how far Keigo-san would go for Naruto-san. He seemed genuinely protective of him. If he would do that just as a warning for a comment what else would he do? It made Iruka-sensei shudder to think.
"How...how far would you go? What if one of the kids hurt Naruto-san?" His voice was shaky.
Keigo-san thought for a moment and stretched a little. "Broken hand maybe. How I did it would depend on what had happened to Naruto-san. If it was a scratch I might just break their pinky, if they hurt him badly I might shove them to the floor and break it while they writhed on the floor.
The doctor wouldn't be happy but they don't like Naruto-san anyway so what should it matter? Especially since it's perfectly legal for me to put a child in their place that way. I could give them worse injuries and still be perfectly above board but I know their just kids so I'd rather not."
Iruka-sensei gulped at his horror and yet was relieved that Keigo-san refused to go further than that.
"If it was you, or Mizuki-sensei then you would be reported to the ANBU interrogation team."
Iruka-sensei was not happy at the idea. Not that he would hurt Naruto-san anyway.
Iruka-sensei had what he wanted.
"Okay, I won't get in your way." Iruka-sensei walked out thinking 'I can't believe I'm legally required to endanger my students.'
Word soon got around the school about the incident. Naruto-san, The Honorable Son, Naruto-san, with a guard who pins you to trees at the slightest bad word about him, Naruto-san, Son of a Hokage. It was buzzing around. It couldn't be true.
Parents were afraid to send their children to school. Of course, the kids insisted they'd be careful and went anyway.
After that Naruto-san's class was particularly careful around him. In fact, they stopped talking to him altogether. They glanced back occasionally but didn't seem to know what to say.
Just a few day's later one of the older kids grabbed old of his arm and said "You shouldn't be here, demon."
Keigo-san grabbed hold of the nine year olds hand and snapped it backwards off Naruto-san. Still holding the kids broken wrist he lowered the tone of his voice.
"If you ever call the Honourable Son a demon again you'll get more than a broken wrist. Don't ever touch him again." He manipulated her wrist to make a point. "Get to class, you can get that looked at later.
The kid ran to Mizuki-san's class. Mizuki-san took one look at her and said "You insulted the Honourable Son, didn't you." She nodded. He had no sympathy. It was well known Keigo-san would protect Naruto-san. She was just another idiot child. "You can go to the hospital later. Sit down."
The kid miserably sat down cradling her wrist.
In the meantime people had started turning against Ruka-san. Kakashi-san, however, wasn't as nice as Keigo-san. The first time someone mentioned Ruka-san's name unfavourably Kakashi-san threw the child against the classroom wall and the kid immediately fell unconscious. He then dragged the child outside and tied her to the shuriken training tree where they found her in the afternoon. She was struggling against the bonds but to no avail.
The first time someone tried to emancipate Ruka-san she managed to threaten her attacker but Kakashi-san was already on them. He freed Ruka-san, then kicked the kid in the stomach hard and broke his arm. If he was allowed to kill the kid he might have done by accident.
Naruto-kun and Ruka-chan were not happy. School was a farce. They might as well do all their training at home, the only reason they didn't was because they needed the Academy to pass their tests.
Unless they could come to some sort of arrangement. They could train at home and still do the Academy tests. They would ask the Hokage.
The Hokage's Office
Kakashi-san and Keigo-san stood behind their charges as always.
Ruka-san started "We want to do all our training at home. We'll still do all the Academies tests but we'll study at home."
"What's brought this on?" Hiruzen-sama questioned while smoking his pipe.
Keigo-san answered. "Both our charges have been either attacked or abused multiple times by the students. This was their idea."
Hiruzen-sama looked down in thought.
"Hn, I'll see what I can do."
The Hokage asked for Iruka-sensei who arrived a few moments later.
Iruka-sensei bowed to the Hokage and looked at the Honourable Children and their Guardians.
"The Honourable Children have a proposition for you Iruka-san. Because of the abuse they are experiencing in the Academy they want to train at home but still take your tests. Do you think you can do that. Do you think you could eventually pass these two as genin's just from their test results?"
Iruka-sensei thought for a moment. It wasn't the worst preposition in the world. He might not be able to pass them on tests alone unless, "I'll bring the exams to the compound and pop in every once in a while to see how they're doing."
The Hokage nodded. "It's agreed then. By the way Iruka-san, these two have been working on seals as well. If you could find some basic exams on those as well that would be helpful. Dismissed, all of you."
"Thank you Iruka-sensei" Both Naruto-san and Ruka-san bowed to their teacher, or now perhaps they should say, assessor.
They all filed out and walked their separate ways home.
POV Naruto The Namikaze Compound
They were doing chakra control. In this lesson they were looking at their own chakra flow, but Naruto-kun was having trouble. He could sense his own white chakra but there was something flowing with it. Something red. He concentrated harder and then he found himself somewhere odd.
It was a black corridor lit by old fashioned lamps. Except it wasn't a dank, wet tunnel. It had posh, polished floorboards. Every now and then there were pictures on the wall. One was of him and Ruka-chan having a good time. There were darker, more gruesome pictures of the villagers and the school children bullying him. There was a picture of the boy pinned to the tree on his first day as an official Honourable Son.
The pictures were a mix of good and bad memories until he came to a cavern. The cavern was lit on one side, on the other was a layer of gold bars with a seal on them.
Naruto-kun heard a growl from behind the bars and a great, red fox came into the light.
