Before the Rebels gathered in their hideout in Iziz, they each caused a commotion in different parts of the city.

Lux, still cloaked, threw a droid popper on a group of droids in a marketplace, with Ahsoka watching by closely. Saw observed two droids harassing a citizen and immediately shot both droids with Obi-Wan following closely. Steela was up on the high ground with Anakin, shooting the droid on the turret, manning the rayshield gates. While Rex was on the ground with three others, throwing droid poppers on the reinforcements.

Steela shot the last three droids before turning to Anakin. "That should give King Rash something to think about." She proclaimed.

"Huh," Anakin huffed. "I'm sure you've gotten his attention."

It was nearing nightfall when they gathered in their hideout. It wasn't much but it had a main hall, which had sky panels on the ceiling, giving them natural light during the day with two curved couches that faced each other mostly used for briefings. One door led to their communications center; while the other rooms were mainly used as barracks and for their food and weapons supplies.

Saw, Steela, and Lux sat on one couch, while Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka sat on the other couch opposite them. They removed their hoods and started discussing.

They reported that the commotions were successful and it did caught the attention of King Rash because he has doubled the patrol units and imposed curfews.

"Your success will not go unnoticed," Anakin pointed out.

Others cheered and even clanked their goblets to celebrate.

"I agree," Obi-Wan said. "But we need to be mindful of public perception." He turned to Ahsoka, who was on the other end of the couch. "What was your observation, Padawan?" He asked.

"The people were fearful, Master." Ahsoka blurted out.

Obi-Wan nodded. "Indeed. Judging from the reactions I saw today, I'm afraid they're going to mistake your intentions."

Saw pounded his fist in the air. "We need to do more damage." He suggested. "A dozen-few droids will do little to free Onderon."

"Yes," Steela somewhat agreed. "But the people need to believe we can succeed. Without their support, our efforts are meaningless."

"If they're afraid, they won't support us." Lux agreed. "We need to assure them of our intentions."

Saw knitted his eyebrows. "I don't understand, why are they afraid?" He asked.

"They're afraid, we're not strong enough to win," Steela replied. "We need to earn their trust first."

"Oh, you'll have plenty of time to gain their trust," Anakin spoke up. "All of you are going to be very busy."

"Today was only a taste," Rex said. "You'll have your chance."

"In the meantime," Obi-Wan added. "Make the most of your victories. Welcome and learn from them."

There were a few seconds of silence until Lux spoke up.

"What if we hit something big," Lux said. "You know, to give a show of strength. Maybe the people will overcome their fear and join us."

Ahsoka raised an eye marking at him. "That's bold of you. What did you have in mind?"

Lux smirked. "I know the perfect target."

. . .

The three Jedi, together with Rex, got out of the hideout and pulled their hoods over their heads.

"I think they're ready to give the 501st some competition." Anakin praised.

Rex snorted. "Let's not get carried away, General." He said. "Though these rebels have impressed me."

"We will share the developments with the Jedi Council," Obi-Wan informed. "Ahsoka will remain here as an advisor," He continued. "Monitor them and report back with their progress. And of course, keep your eye on the senator."

Ahsoka nodded and bowed.

Anakin placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you up for it, Snips?" He asked. "Or would you like to return to Coruscant? We could arrange for another to be the senator's-"

"No, master." Ahsoka cut him off. "I want to stay."

"Good," Obi-Wan said. "We should continue to provide supplies and credits, but they must learn to operate on their own. Only step in if you have to. Their survival depends on it."

Ahsoka nodded. "Yes, Master."

"Remember your purpose." Anakin asserted before he left with Obi-Wan and Rex.

. . .

Saw, Steela, Lux, and Ahsoka scouted and studied the city's main power generator from one of the nearby buildings' roofs, with Steela using the sniper rifle's lens to get a closer look.

"This power generator feeds substations across the city," Lux informed. "We hit that, the entire grid falls."

"How does that help us?" Steela asked. "Battle droids are no longer linked to Central Control. They operate individually."

"Yes, but they still need power to recharge," Lux insisted. "If we take out this facility, it will knock out the power grid, and it will only be a matter of time until the droid army is brought to a standstill, literally."

"Hmm," Ahsoka assessed. "If you carry out the plan by nightfall, you'll maximize your strike capability."

"Okay," Steela concurred. "So we just need to figure out how to destroy the power station."

"Yes, but we need to do more surveillance," Lux suggested. "We can't just attack without a plan."

Saw turned to them with a smirk. "Hey, those droids should have all the intel we need stored up in those tin cans of theirs, right?"

Ahsoka shrugged. "They should."

"Then I'll just get us one." Saw volunteered.

Before any of them could say anything, Saw slid down the gable roof and headed down to the streets. He literally pulled off the head of the nearest battle droid patrolling the streets before climbing back up to the roof.

Saw performed a robolobotomy on the droid's cranial unit so they could extract its data. They scanned away until they found a holographic map of the main power generator. It was complete with squads of droids stationed at certain areas.

"There are sentries at every access point," He groaned, studying the map. "Inside and out."

Lux knitted and shook his head. "We can't sustain combat against their numbers."

Steela, however, was the only one who remained optimistic. "But our size makes us perfect for mobility and surprise. But we're gonna need something with heavy firepower if we are to blow up this facility."

Lux raised his hand. "What if we give them enough trouble? Surely, they will call for reinforcements."

"Like a tank?" Steela guessed.

"Yes, exactly." Lux agreed. "Then you can provide cover while a hijack it. And then we use their own weapon against them."

Saw huffed. "And bring the droid army to its knees."

Ahsoka had to smile. She was glad they were coming up with their own ideas on how to sabotage the Separatists, and that they didn't need that much "advising" at the moment. "Well, sounds like a plan." She finally said. "How can I help?"

. . .

They carried out the plan at nightfall as Ahsoka suggested. That way, less civilians would be in harm's way.

Her objectives for the plan were first, to keep Lux alive; and second, to help out.

Ahsoka may have made a promise to Anakin and Obi-Wan to never interfere, but she never promised to not help them when they needed it. She just wouldn't have to use her lightsabers to not make the Separatists suspicious that the rebels were getting help from the Jedi. Technically, she's only going to do the bare minimum.

The first phase of their plan was to ambush a droid patrol and keep them busy enough until they called for reinforcements before wiping them all out.

But first they had to navigate the streets and had to sneak past droid patrols marching around the city. With the darkness of the night as part of their cover, the droids would still easily identify them because they carried weapons.

As they passed through one of the alleyways, Steela and Saw led the way but one of the droids noticed someone running behind them and turned around to check.

"Uh, oh." Ahsoka shrieked as she sensed battle droids coming their way.

"What?" Lux asked.

"Shh," She replied as he pulled him back into the dark alley.

"What is going-?" Lux started to protest.

Ahsoka had to push him against one of the building walls and cover his mouth with her hand to shut him up. "Quiet." She whispered. She then had to use the Force to push Steela and Saw to the other side of the street, surprising them. It was only then that they noticed that Lux and Ahsoka weren't able to follow them.

She gestured for Steela and Saw to go ahead, while Ahsoka stayed with Lux, waiting for the patrol droids to pass.

Both Steela and Saw got what she meant. They both nodded and went ahead.

Lux removed Ahsoka's hand covering his mouth. "How long do we have to wait?" He asked.

"Until the patrol droids pass," She answered.

Suddenly, one of the droids spotted them. Both Ahsoka and Lux's eyes widened. It was too late to run now, so they had to play along.

"Kriff!" Ahsoka cursed, then leaned in closer to Lux to the point where their faces were so close to each other.

"What are you doing?" Lux asked, confused.

Ahsoka gave Lux a warning look. "Just go with it." She said, gritting her teeth. Then she turned Lux's face away from the droid so he wouldn't be recognized before facing it.

"Hey!" She complained angrily. "How about some privacy?"

The droid nearly jumped back. "Oops, sorry." It said, then gestured to the other droids who followed. "Nothing to see here. Move along."

Thankfully, the droids left them alone after that. But they still have to retain their act.

Their faces were so close to each other that it was starting to feel awkward. It looked like they were lovers meeting for a tryst in a dark alley. It would've been scandalous considering they were both sixteen and a Senator and a Jedi.

While Ahsoka was being vigilant with their surroundings, Lux couldn't stop himself from staring at her. Well, technically, they have to so their cover wouldn't be blown. But still, something in that moment, with her being so close to him, made his heart beat so fast against his chest.

He began to notice almost every detail of Ahsoka. How her blue eyes sparkled with curiosity, it was like he could see her calculating her next move if anything happens; how her blue and white striped lekkus dangled along each side of her face; and how she pursed her lips whenever she was focusing on something.

She's so…beautiful, Lux thought.

Another squad of droids was marching past them on the street.

Ahsoka sighed, still scanning their surroundings. "This is gonna take a while," She muttered.

Without thinking, Lux cupped Ahsoka's chin, prompting her to face him.

Ahsoka knitted her eye markings and swatted his hand away. "Can you not-?" She started to protest.

Lux forced her to face him again. "I thought you said to play along," He insisted.

Ahsoka glared at him. "You are not kissing me again!" She hissed.

"I'm not," He countered. "These droids might be dumb but they are gonna be suspicious."

Ahsoka sighed in frustration. "Fine, I'll play along." She said, looking him in the eye. She then scanned his face and noticed a scar on Lux's left cheekbone and without thinking, she unknowingly touched it.

Lux flinched when she did, but he didn't swat her hand away.

"How did you get this?" She asked.

Lux scoffed. "I got it when we were running away from droids way before we got out of Iziz the first time."

Ahsoka chuckled. "You just never learn, do you?" She said.

"I wouldn't say that," He admitted, grasping her wrist gently. "I prefer it being called my lack of training."

"Or is it because you're still expecting someone to save you?"

"Not really, no," He said, smiling. "But I'm not complaining."

"Hey!" Saw called from across the street.

Both Lux and Ahsoka turned in Saw's direction and saw him glaring at them, while Steela stood behind Saw with a confused look on her face.

Ahsoka immediately shook her hand from Lux's grip and pushed him away. She then gestured for Lux to cross the street ahead of her before she followed.

"What were you both doing?" Steela asked.

"Nothing!" Lux and Ahsoka said at the same time.

Saw huffed. "Let's just get this over with." He then gestured for their other comrades to get on with the plan.

Not long after, a speeder stopped in the middle of the street driven by one of the rebels. It was hastily parked sideways purposely to block the incoming patrol droids. The driver then hid with the others.

"Remember the plan," Lux whispered. "We attack this patrol and hopefully they will call in a tank for backup."

As expected, the droids made their way around the speeder. When they did, the rebels activated the droid poppers in it, causing the nearby droids to deactivate and fall to the ground.

The rebels took that as their cue and started shooting every droid on that patrol, except its commander.

"Patrol 118 to central," The commander droid called through its comchannel. "We have been ambushed by terrorists and need reinforcements."

Just as the commander said the last word, Steela shot it.

"Let's hope they send a tank," Ahsoka said, then gestured for the others. "Come on!" She then stopped midway to the speeder hearing something. "Hear that?"

"What?" Lux asked.

Ahsoka turned and saw two Droidekas heading their way.

"They've sent Destroyers," Ahsoka shrieked, then she grabbed Lux's arm. "Lux, get behind me." She then ignited both her lightsabers and started deflecting blaster fire.

The two Destroyers had their shields up and were firing at them.

"We're not gonna last unless we take out those destroyers," Saw pointed out.

"Someone has to get behind them," Lux suggested amidst the blaster fire.

"Good point," Saw said, then ran to the edge of the nearest building.

"What are you-?" Lux started to say before following Saw, unbeknownst to Ahsoka.

Turns out, Saw and Lux had to ran around a street block to get behind the Destroyers. Their plan was to use droid poppers to deactivated the Droidekas, and succeeded in destroying one. The other Droideka became aware of them and turned its attention to Saw and Lux.

Ahsoka was dumbfounded when she saw Lux and Saw behind the Droidekas.

Saw had to push Lux back behind the building to shield him from blaster fire before jumping to hide behind the deactivated Droideka.

With Saw and Lux pinned down, Steela dropped her sniper rifle and ran to the Droideka before carefully placing a droid popper inside its shield, causing it to shriek and deactivate.

Ahsoka picked up Steela's sniper rifle and handed it to her after. "I've never seen a Destroyer taken out that way before." She said. "Nice job."

Steela took the rifle from her. "Eh, we all have to adapt."

Suddenly, they heard a hovering sound getting closer and saw an AAT heading their way.

"Well," Saw said. "There's our tank."

"Split up!" Ahsoka directed.

And they did. It was also only then did they noticed that the AAT was escorted by several super battle droids.

The rebels delivered well by eliminating the super battle droids. Ahsoka was even impressed by Lux's skills with a blaster. His time spent with the rebels really honed his survival skills.

Once the droids were down, Saw and Lux readied their droid poppers.

"Let's move, kid." Saw persisted, then climbed onto the AAT and threw a droid popper into the front hatch.

Lux, on the other hand, went to throw his droid popper into the top hatch.

They had successfully disabled the tank's circuits. But just as they jumped to the ground for cover, they were ambushed by two super battle droids.

Saw was pinned to the ground and could not shoot back. Lux started shooting back, and that's also the time both super battle droids turned to him. It rained blaster fire and Lux scrambled for cover.

Ahsoka had to step in for Lux's sake. Well, also because he was her responsibility. She grabbed and ignited her lightsabers, leaped towards the AAT, and placed herself before Lux and the droids.

She shielded Lux as she deflected blaster fire unto the nearest droid, destroying it, while pushing the other backwards using the Force.

Lux stared at her in awe. "Whoa, I-thanks." He said as she helped him up. "You know, we could've used a little help."

Ahsoka made a face at him. "My mission is to track your group's progress and to keep you alive." She corrected. "Getting involved is not part of it."

"Alright," Saw spoke up. "Great work. Now, let's get this thing up and running again." He then climbed to the top hatch of the AAT, pulled the droid out, and tried to activate AAT back to life.

Saw and Steela had to argue back and forth on how to turn it back on, until Saw gave up and Steela had to step in.

Once the AAT was operational, Saw drove it towards Iziz's main power generator with Steela, Lux, and Ahsoka standing on its armored plate outside.

The gates to the main power generator had a plaza that was mostly empty, except for a few patrol droids.

As they rode closer to the main power generator, they noticed that several patrol droids were also guarding its main gate.

"I'll draw their fire," Steela volunteered, gripping her sniper rifle as she jumped off the AAT.

"I'll cover you," Ahsoka offered and she followed Steela off the AAT.

"Be careful," Lux reminded them as he stayed on the AAT with Saw.

Steela went ahead and ran to one of the statues on the plaza. As a sniper, Steela needed to be at a certain height to pinpoint her targets properly, so Ahsoka gave her a boost up on the largest statue on the plaza. Ahsoka remained on the ground for cover.

"We're almost in position," Saw said through their comchannel. "Ready when you are, Steela."

A moment later, Steela started shooting at the patrol droids by the main gate.

"A sniper!" A droid said. "Get her!"

Steela shot several other droids until Ahsoka noticed that other patrol droids near the plaza were heading toward them.

"Steela, focus on the droids by the gate," Ahsoka instructed, igniting her lightsabers. "I'll take care of these."

Ahsoka simply parried blaster fire back to the droids to destroy them.

The highjacked AAT then trampled the patrol droids by the main gate before Saw aimed and fired the main cannon at the large blast doors, destroying were two sets of doors and once Saw fired at the second set of doors, another patrol came out of the facility: Commando droids.

The Commando droids leaped into action, but Steela and Lux were there to take them out with blaster fire.

"Fire the gun!" Steela hissed.

"The gun is recharging," Saw said.

Steela then fired at the last Commando droid before turning back to Saw. "You're all clear!"

Saw wasted no time and fired the AAT's gun at the main power generator.

It created a shock wave that Ahsoka had to pull Lux and Steela down from the AAT for cover before the power generator exploded.

The attack on the main power generators caused a chain reaction among the rebels and the were randomly causing chaos in the streets. For freedom! For Onderon!, they screamed in retaliation.

Ahsoka smiled as she witnessed everything that happened. "Looks like all that training has paid off." She said.

. . .

The rebels regrouped back at their hideout and celebrated their victory with drinks. At the same time, Captain Rex and Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker were present in hologram. Ahsoka stood beside Anakin's hologram.

"We must celebrate," Steela raised her drink.

"With pleasure." Saw agreed, then lifted Steela and spun her around.

Lux stood uncomfortably beside them before Steela approached him with a huge grin.

"Come here, you handsome senator," Steela held out her arms for a hug.

"What-oh!" Lux reluctantly returned the hug, but he managed to make eye contact with Ahsoka, who looked amused.

"Steela is a born leader," Rex pointed out.

"And quite courageous, I hear," Obi-Wan added.

Ahsoka found herself staring in Lux's direction. And it made her roll her eyes when Steela was being all touchy with Lux again. She still didn't trust her around him.

And of course, her Master, Anakin noticed. "Ahsoka," He called out." Remember what I told you about staying focused." He reminded her.

Ahsoka sighed. Even through a holo-transmission, Anakin could still sense her discomfort. "I can't help it, Master." She admitted.

"I understand," Anakin said.

She turned to him. "You do?"

"I do," Anakin nodded. "But try to remember, always put purpose ahead of your feelings."

Just then, Obi-Wan, in hologram, stepped forward and addressed the rebels. "This latest development will surely get Count Dooku's attention," He said." He will respond harshly. They will stop at nothing to find you. You must adapt and continue to confront them in order to liberate Onderon." He insisted.

"We will," Saw promised.

"And we shall win." Steela added.

Obi-Wan nodded in their direction. "In that, I have no doubt."

"Now you must rally the people," Anakin interjected. "You will need your support. Your ability to influence them will also determine your capacity to represent them. Not only on the battlefield, but off of it. Against your enemies, and even within your own ranks. Your commitment will inspire others. Your conviction will lead to victory."

"After tonight's efforts," Obi-Wan continued. "The people will be ready to follow. And you will need a leader for them to rally behind."

Once the holo-transmission with the Jedi Generals and Rex was over, the rebels gathered and planned their next move.

"We need to build on our momentum," Saw suggested. "And continue our attacks to keep them off balance."

"Yes," Lux agreed. "But we have to assure the people first." He insisted. "If we keep disrupting their lives, we risk alienating them. We still have to gain their trust."

"I agree with both of you," Steela said. "And we can balance both. We also need to recruit others to join us." She then addressed the others gathered. "Onderon is ours. We will remind everyone and keep reminding them until we get it back."

The rebels agreed. "Onderon is ours!" They chanted. "For freedom! For Onderon!"

One rebel soldier stood up from the crowd. "All in favor of Steela as our leader, raise your hand."

Almost everyone in the room raised their hand.

The expression on Saw's face darkened. "Okay, looks like it's been decided." He said coldly before placing a hand on Steela's shoulder. "You're the leader."

Saw then hurriedly walked past everyone and left the room.

"Saw," Steela called out to him, but he never listened.

Lux stepped in and blocked Steela's path. "Let him go," He advised. "He just needs to blow off some steam. He'll be back."

"I can't," Steela said, pushing past Lux before running into Ahsoka on her way out.

"Why?" Ahsoka asked.

Steela took a deep breath before answering. "Because he's my brother." She revealed before heading out.

Ahsoka was so surprised by Steela's revelation that she almost didn't notice Lux was already standing beside her.

"Well, they're equally stubborn and persistent," Ahsoka pointed out. "That makes sense now." She turned to Lux. "Why didn't you tell me they were siblings?"

Lux shook his head. "I…didn't know." He answered.

Ahsoka made a face at him. "You've been with them since you were on the run and you didn't know?"

Lux raised his hands in surrender. "Hey, I don't ask personal questions," He said. "Trust me, I learned that the hard way."

. . .

That night, Lux couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned on his makeshift cot, trying to get comfortable but to no avail.

Lux slept in the communications center, along with a few other rebels, who were mostly there to guard him and to alert everyone in case of emergency holo-transmissions. Ahsoka lay soundly asleep on her cot nearby. She was also there because besides being left as their advisor, she was also Lux's personal bodyguard and had to keep an eye on him at all times.

And because he couldn't sleep, Lux decided to head out for a walk. Yes, a mindful walk in the dark amidst the brewing chaos. It sounds contradictory, but it was better than staring at the ceiling all night.

Lux pulled out his cloak, put it on, and headed out. The guards outside noticed him, of course. But he assured him that he just needed some air and they reluctantly agreed.

When he was one block from their hideout, Lux heard scuffing noises. That alone made him nervous and he started to think that strolling at night was a bad idea.

"Where do you think you're going, Senator?" A voice spoke up.

Lux jumped, looking around. And of course, he immediately recognized whose voice it belonged to. "Ahsoka, what-how?" He started to say.

A cloaked figure emerged from one of the balconies above him before leaping down to the ground before him.

Ahsoka had her brown Jedi robe on with the hood over her head. "You never answered my question." She said.

Lux sighed. "Do you always have to follow me around everywhere?" He asked.

Ahsoka shrugged. "I'm your bodyguard and you're my responsibility." She said. "If anything happens to you, it's my head. Now, where are you possibly going at this time of night?" She asked.

"I just-I couldn't sleep," He admitted. "So I decided to just…go for a stroll."

"A stroll?" Ahsoka repeated, like she misheard him. "We just destroyed the power generator, droids are probably looking for us and you're going out for a stroll?"

"Look, you can judge me all you want," He said. "But I think it's better than tossing and turning. And if it makes you any feel better, you can come with me."

Ahsoka made a face at him like she couldn't believe Lux had suggested it.

"Well," Lux started. "Are you coming or not?"

"Don't you think it's risky strolling at night?" Ahsoka asked.

Lux gripped his cloak. "That's what this cloak is for."

"What I meant is you going alone."

"That's why I'm asking you to come with me," Lux suggested. "That way, you'll be keeping me safe if anything happens. And besides, it's harder to be recognized when it's dark and you're cloaked."

Ahsoka grunted. "Fine, I'll walk with you."

"Great!" Lux then grabbed Ahsoka's hand, hooked it on his arm, and pulled her forward along with him, much to her surprise. "Let's go."

They navigated the streets of Iziz despite the fires and the little squabbles on the roads. Looking at them, they'd easily pass off as a young couple on a night stroll. When in reality they're a supposedly disgraced politician and a Jedi padawan who had just infiltrated the capital's main power generator.

"So, aren't you gonna tell me what's troubling you?" She asked, finally.

Lux stared at her, dumbfounded. It took him a second before answering. "Is this like a Jedi thing?" He wondered. "Sensing other people's emotions?"

"Well, yes, that," Ahsoka shrugged. "And the fact that you insisted on strolling at night. Because if you were really tired from the show we put on earlier, you'd be snoring on your cot right now."

"I…well, yes, partly," Lux admitted, then sighed. "Look, I never told anyone this, but I am tired. Tired of being on the run and hiding all the time. I just want to be able to walk around freely and peacefully on my own home planet. To not be afraid that someone's out to get me."

"Well, if we succeed," Ahsoka assured. "I'm sure we'll get to that."

"Don't get me wrong the rebels who took me in are great," Lux continued. "But I mean, you've seen how Saw is. He's sort of an extremist."

"Sort of?" Ahsoka repeated.

"And he hates me." Lux declared. "The reason why they tolerate me is because…well, I'm the former Senator."

"Don't think about yourself that way," Ahsoka reassured. "You are a big help just as much as Saw is. You both just use different tactics in fighting for Onderon. And if it weren't for you, the Jedi wouldn't be sending aid."

Lux chuckled. "And I wouldn't have a Jedi bodyguard who follows me around?"

"And keeps you breathing and in one piece," Ahsoka glared at him. "Don't tempt me."

Lux raised his hands in surrender.

"And besides, hiding in plain sight is a tactic my master and I use all the time," Ahsoka added. "It's crazy, but it works."

"Don't take this the wrong way, but your Master is, based on my observation, sort of an unconventional Jedi."

Ahsoka snorted. "Oh, he is. It's sort of what he's known for." She said. "Believe me, he will take that as a compliment."

Lux smiled. "Well, I'm glad that he's one of the Jedi who was sent here to train us," He commended. "Plus, he has an extraordinary padawan, who is an exceptional advisor, and a great friend."

Ahsoka made a face at him. "You're just saying that to mock me, right?"

"No, no!" Lux said, then took her hands and gently squeezed it. "I mean it, really."

They locked eyes with each other, and Ahsoka could feel her heart beat faster, which she could not expression on Lux's face was the same when they both parted ways after the whole thing on Carlac. When they said their goodbyes while he was in an escape pod. It was a genuine smile and his blue eyes twinkled in the moonlight.

Ahsoka could sense that Lux was sincere with his words, but she could not understand what she was feeling at the moment. Her chest pounding hard, the rush sense of excitement, and the strong impulse for connection. And she was just lost in his eyes.

This was the second time today. The first time was when they got separated from Saw and Steela and were hiding from patrol droids.

What is this feeling? She mentally asked herself. Then suddenly, Ahsoka could hear Anakin's words to her, Always put purpose ahead of your feelings. That was enough to snap her back to reality.

Ahsoka looked away from him and shook her hands from his grip. "We need to go back." She said before gesturing back to way they came.

"'Soka," He grabbed her hand again.

Ahsoka raised an eye marking at him. Did he just give her a nickname? Surprisingly, she never corrected him for calling her that.

Lux let go of her hand. "I'm sorry if I-"

"Don't worry about it," She interrupted, not meeting his eyes. "Let's just go back to the hideout before anyone else notices that you're gone."

Ahsoka had no idea what in the universe had just happened that night. But she probably wouldn't ever look at Lux the same way again.
