N'ter the Goomy

Tom: The next episode of Heroic Heart and Super Soul is now underway.

Ash: What's a Goomy?

Sara: There's probably going to be quite a bit in this one. Especially to explain some of the other new characters.

Announcer: There's going to be a lot of introductions, Sara. But get ready for more Pokémon. Right here on KidsWB.

Tom: Let's kick it. *he hits the touchscreen buttons*

Ever since a week had passed when May and Drew went back to Sinnoh. Ash and Paul did some training. Even by going into the mountains, and joined by Calem as well. With how things went they got a fewsurprising visitors. Hilbert has shown up with two of his friends. Not to mention, with him back, Iris is bound to get into her crush mode with Hilbert.

"I must say. It's been a bit of time." He commented.

"Hey, yeah! I remember you." Ash told him.

Hilbert looked to him, confused. "Huh? You do?"

"Yeah! I remember that you had a dance with Iris." Ash recalled and stepped to the side for him to see Iris blushing.

When they saw each other Iris looked away, being very shy. "H-h-hello." She greeted.

It took a second, but Hilbert remembered her. "Oh yeah. I remember. You were the one who was standing alone." He recalled as well.

"Huh? She was?" Hilda asked.

He looked back at her. "Mm-hm. This is her." Hibert told them.

"Well now. You certainly picked a fine lady to dance with." His green haired friend commented on.

Iris blushed at his compliment as Hilbert went up to her. "I do hope you enjoyed that dance we had." He said.

"S-same." She replied.

Hilbert then realized something and looked over at Ash. It took for what felt like a minute, but he finally recognized him. "Wait a minute. I thought I recognized you." He spoke up. Hilda and their green haired friend looked at him very perplexed. "Who is he?" the man requested.

"Don't keep us in suspense." Hilda told him.

Hilbert looked at them with a smile. "This is Ash. He's the league victor in four regions." He told them.

(Beat) In a loud whisper: GOTTA CATCH 'EM, GOTTA CATCH EM, GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL! POKEMON! (Regular) I WANT TO BE THE BEST, THAT NO ONE EVER WAS! TO CATCH THEM IS MY REAL TEST. TO TRAIN THEM IS MY CAUSE. FOR EVERY NEW JOURNEY I FACE, OFFERS A NEW CHALLENGE. FROM NEW FRIENDS, TO NEW RIVALS! NEW POKEMON WITH NEW ABILITIES. BE A HERO, BE A HEERROOO. IT'S IN YOUR SOUL. BE A HERO. BE A HEERRROOOOO. THE POWER IS IN YOUR SOUL. JUST TAKE IT IN YOUR HAAANNNDD! POKEMON.

"Wait! This is Ash?" Hila questioned as she looked at him.

"Mm-hmm. Yep. He's a very strong Pokémon trainer." Hilbert complimented.

"And yet, his toughest challenge was Tobias. Man, that was some battle." Dawn recalled.

"No kidding. Ash nearly used up all of his Pokémon in that battle." Paul added.

"But tell us this. What bring you all here?" Serena requested.

"Well. You guys might not believe it." Hilbert told them. They all went over to a table and sat down and they all looked at him in disbelief from what he told them.

"Goomy? There's a Pokémon called Goomy here?" Ash requested.

"Yes. A pretty rare Pokémon in this region. They're pretty strong once they've been trained." He informed them.

"That's the kind of Pokémon I'd like to have on my team." Ash commented.

"Likewise with me. I'd like to make my team stronger as well." Paul added.

"Wait! So you guys catch your Pokemon?" the man with the green hair asked.

Ash and Paul looked at him, puzzled. "Yeah. We do. It's how we gain new team members." Ash told him.

"I see." He replied in a disappointed tone and looked over to Pikachu. "Tell me this. That Pikachu. Who does he go to?" he requested.

They looked over at Pikachu as he was nibbling on some food. "Oh, Pikachu? He's my partner." Ash told him as he looked at him then back to Pikachu. "Hey, Pikachu." Ash called out. Pikachu's ears perked upand he looked over at Ash and scampered over to him, climbing up his arm and onto his shoulder.

"He's your partner and he's not in a Pokéball. I'm impressed." He complimented.

"I don't get him. What's his deal?" Paul requested.

"I'm sorry about him. This is my boyfriend, N. He… doesn't really approve of any Pokémon being inside of a Pokéball." Hilda told them.

They looked at him confused.

"Why wouldn't he approve of that? It's what trainers normally do to catch Pokémon." Misty replied.

"Well, for N. He didn't really grow up like we all did. He likes for them to be free." Hilda informed them all.

"Is this true? You want for them to be free?" Ash asked.

N merely nodded in response. "Yes. I want them to be free. Being confined to a Pokéball is like restricting their freedom." He told them in a bitter tone.

Hilbert looked right him. "We know how you feel, but others won't always feel the same way."

"I know. But it just bothers me heavily that trainers just catch them to use them." He pointed out.

"Not everyone does. We all have them with us as companions." Kenny pointed out.

"Hmm. Even if they're like companions. They shouldn't be restrained from their own freedom." N replied.

They all looked at him, feeling a bit awkward. "They don't fully understand, N. I understand you, but you need to let them be just how they are." Hilda reminded him.
N looked at her. "I know, but you know how I feel. Even when they catch a Goomy, It won't be right to me." He reminded her.

"Hmm. I di need to check on what a Goomy is." Ash commented and brought out his poke dex and hit a few buttons.

His poke dex beeped a couple of times. "Goomy! The Soft Tissue Pokémon. This Pokémon is rarely ever seen outside of its home region and it is fairly tough to catch." It informed him.

"Seems like we have a Pokémon to try and catch." Ash commented as he stood up.

"Don't think you're the only one who will catch one." Paul added as he got up as well.

"Ditto on that." Calem told them as he got up as well.

"I guess it's probably the four of us to catch a Goomy." Hilbert stated as he got up as well.

"Seems like they're at it once more." Dawn commented as she smiled at them.

"No kidding, but I do wonder." Zoey spoke up as she looked over to Kenny. "What about you, Kenny? Aren't you going to try and catch a Goomy?" she asked him.

He looked over to her with a smile. "Nah. I'll let them have their fun. Besides that. There are other Pokémon I'm interested in catching." He replied.

"Well I'm interested." Iris told them as she stood up. They all looked at her, pretty confused. "From what I know about Goomy us that they're dragon types. I aim to catch one since I'm a dragon type trainer." She told them.

"Huh? But what about that electric-flying type that you have?" Dawn asked her.

"Oh. My Emolga? I still remember that as soon as I saw her. I just had to catch her." Iris told them.

"Her? Your Emolga is a girl?" Dawn asked.

"Yep. My Emolga is a girl. She knows attract. In which I think only girl Pokémon can learn that?" Iris commented, thinking out loud.

"Actually, just about any Pokémon, boy or girl, can learn it. And if the Pokémon has the same gender, it won't have any affect." Zoey told her.

"Now that part, I didn't know about." Iris replied.

"As for right now, I'm ready to head out and find myself a Goomy." Ash told them.

"Not if I find one first." Hilbert told him enthusiastically.

"You all are on." Paul told them, pumped up for this.

It wasn't long until Ash, Paul, Calem, Iris and Hilbert all bolted out and the others only watched.

"And yet, Iris called Ash a little kid a while ago. She should speak for herself." Serena commented jokingly.

"Oh, boy. They're definitely like kids right now." Hilda commented before they joined them.

N, however, only shook his head in disapproval. "This truly isn't right to do." He said to himself before he followed them

They all were now out and about, looking for a Goomy. As they looked they were kind of spread out into different teams. Ash and Misty searched for a Goomy as Dawn and Kenny helped them. As they helped them Zoey assisted Paul as they looked in a few places so far. Serena was with Calem as they looked as Iris and Hilbert were close by. Hilda and N assisted as well, but N was a bit hesitant on looking for Goomy.

Hilda looked over to him, knowing how he felt still and knowing the organization he was in. "N, I know how you feel, but you have to let other express how they feel. You're still allowing what you've learned to cloud your judgement over being open to how others obtain their Pokémon." She reminded him.

He sighed, knowing that she was right. "I know, but I honestly don't want Pokémon to feel confined to a Pokéball. They need to be free like how Ash's Pikachu is." He told her.

She looked over to Ash and Pikachu, but then she recalled what he told them earlier. "Don't you remember? He only remained out of his Pokéball. In other words, if they catch them but allow them to remain out… do you get what I'm saying?" she asked him as she looked at him.

N thought for a moment about what she said and he seemed a bit iffy from it. "Hmm. I do understand, but is it restricting on them, still?" he questioned himself and her.

"That part you'll have to find out. Huh?" she wondered as she saw his gaze. N was looking at something in complete awe and he walked forward a bit. "N?" she wondered.

"Hilda. Look at this." He told her as he bent over. She went over to him and took a quick look and saw what they were looking for: a Goomy.

Hilda gasped lightly as she knelt down and looked at it. "Oh my gosh! We found one and it looks so… jiggly?" she wondered.

"More like mushy. You see, Goomy are very mushy Pokémon. As it might be a dragon type, it has three different forms. This is its pre-evolved form." N informed her.

"Huh? How do you know all of that?" she requested.

"I've done my studies over the years. I just can't believe we're seeing one." He stated.

"N! Hilda. Did you both find one, yet?" Ash called out as he went up. They looked back at him, a bit annoyed, but he didn't know they did, so they 'shushed him and pointed to where they found one. Ash felt a bit embarrassed and didn't understand when they did that, but understood once he got closer. Misty. Dawn and Kenny were right behind him when they went up and saw it. "Wow! You guys found one." He commented in a whisper.

N nodded. "Yes, we did. And if Hilda wishes to do so, she can catch it first. After all, she and I were the first ones to find it." N told them.

They all didn't need to think too much about that as he was right. She stepped up with a Pokéball ready. Goomy sensed this and looked at her. "You're mine, Goomy!" She exclaimed, but Goomy got startled and ran off. "Wait! Come back." She pleaded as she called out to it, running after it.

"Oh no. I should've known." N commented and ran after them.

"Shoot." Hilbert stated and followed along with the others.

They all followed the Goomy as it ran off, not being as fast as they thought it would've been.

"I wonder where this Goomy is going?" Iris wondered.

"We'll find out soon." Hilbert replied.

They came to a bit of an opening and saw a lot of Goomy there. "Oh, wow! Look at 'em all." Iris commented.

"There's quite a bit here." Paul added.

"Let's see if we can - " "Hold on." Ash told Calem as he put his arm out to stop him as Calem had a Pokéball ready. Ash looked at them and was in a bit of thought. "If we don't do this correctly, then we won't be able to catch one."

"How are we going to make this work?" Kenny requested.

Misty looked at him. "For one: from what I can tell is this. We can't surround them. Otherwise they'll think of us as a threat." Misty told him.

N then noticed some of them start to go in different directions. "If you guys want to catch them. Some of them are going out in different directions." He informed them. They all looked and saw the ones that were separating from the others.

"Then those are the ones we'll try and catch." Ash stated.

"Oh, boy. Here he goes again." Misty commented a bit annoyed as Ash's old self peered out.

"He's acting like such a little kid again." Iris commented, a bit annoyed as well.

"Do you blame him? After all, he's acted like this before in Sinnoh." Dawn told Iris.

"As if right now, let's get after those Goomy. I'd like to catch one for my team and to know and understand it." Paul told them.

Right after that they all agreed and went their separate ways. Misty was with Ash as Dawn and Kenny joined up with them. Iris was with Hilbert as Serena was with Calem and Zoey was with Paul. N assisted Hilda as they each went after a Goomy.

One Goomy went up to a tree and around it and Iris cornered it. "Ha! I got you now!" Iris called out as she freaked it out on accident. Hilbert was right behind her when she sis this. She reached for her Pokéball and enlarged it. "You're mine. Go Pokéball." she sated as she threw her ball and it bounced off the Goomy, withdrawing it in. It shook a few times with Iris and Hilbert watching in anticipation until it burst out. "What! Awe man." Iris exclaimed, disappointed.

"You do remember that you need to weaken the Pokémon?" Hilbert reminded her.

Iris looked at him then turned completely around, rubbing the back of her head out of bashfulness and embarrassment as she blushed. "Oh yeah. I forgot somehow." She replied nervously.

"Try again, okay?" he requested.

"Oh, yes. Of course." She told him as she brought out another Pokéball. "Come on out, Axew!" she called out. The ball burst open and out came Axew.

"Axew axew. (Ready when you are.)" Axew told them.

"Go ahead and use Slash." Iris called out. Axew ran in quickly and used its claws to slash into Goomy, knocking it back. "Great! Now use Scratch." Iris added. Axew went forward with its claws but Goomy wounded up dodging and using Dragon Breath. "Dodge it quick!" Iris commanded. Axew dodged it but barely in time. Iris let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding.

"What the? It knows Dragon Breath?" Hilbert questioned.

"Even more of a reason to catch it." Iris pointed out confidently. "Now, Axew. Use Dual Chop." She commanded. Axew did as it was told and went in and hit Goomy with both of its arms twice. "Great work! Now use Slash once more." Iris called out. Axew did as Iris called out as it hit Goomy a few times, but this Goomy wasn't going down easy as it used Protect.

"Wow! It knows protect also?" Hilbert pointed out.

"Let's see of we can get it. Use - " Iris about called out until Goomy used Tackle, knocking Axew back. "Oh, no. Are you okay, Axew?" Iris requested.

"Axew axew. (I'll be fine.)" Axew reassured her as Axew rubbed its head.

"How about a break. You haven't been through many battles." Iris told it as she withdrew Axew.

"It looks like Axew still needs a lot of training." Hilbert commented.

"Yeah. Axew does. I'll get down to more training real soon. As for right now." She started as she brought out another Pokéball. "Let's finish this, Emolga." Iris called out. In a burst of white light, Emolga emerged, saying its name as it winked. "Use Thunder Shock." Iris called out. Emolga charged up and unleashed a Thunder Shock, affecting it a good bit. "There we go. Now let's finish it off with a Quick Attack." Emolga went in fast and hit Goomy, knocking it over. "I got you now." Iris stated as she got her Pokéball out. "Go, Pokéball!" she called out as she threw it and it bounced off of Goomy and withdrew it. Afterwards it began to shake and they waited in anticipation until it stopped. Iris went over and picked it up. "Yes! I caught… A GOOMY!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Nicely done. My turn next." Hildbert told her.

"Right. Emolga, return." She told her companion as it was taken back into its Pokéball and Axew went back into her hair.

They continued on as Ash and Misty looked for one as well, with the assistance of Dawn and Kenny. They looked in a few places for one of the Goomy that ran off. It wasn't long until Kenny saw it. He about reacted until it jumped out and ran for it. But even as it did Ash got in front of it. "Gotcha now." Ash stated.

"Get it before it gets away." Dawn cautioned him.

"Don't worry. I got this. I choose you! Pidgeotto." Ash called out as he threw his ball and his flying type came out, awing his name. "Are you ready?" Ash requested.

"Pige pidgetto. (I am ready.)" he acknowledged.

"Let's see how you new moves work. Agility, let's go." Pigeotto took off and flew fast towards Goomy and that Goomy barely had enough time to dodge. After landing it started to glow, showing it had Bide.

"Wow! It knows Bide?" Ash wondered.

"This one might be interesting, Ash. Just be careful of Bide." Misty reminded him.

"I got this, Mist." Ash reassured her.

"We'll be finding out what other moves it has as well." Dawn stated.

"Go again and use Wing Attack." Pidgeotto flew it and his wings started to glow white as he hit Goomy. "Great work." Ash complimented.

"Don't get too cocky, Ash." Misty warned him.

"You have nothing to worry about, Misty. Go Pidgeotto, use Twister." Pidgeotto flapped his wings hard and hit the Goomy. "There we go." Ash stated, but Goomy began to unleash its Bide.

"Ash!" Misty exclaimed.

"Dodge it." Ash ordered and Pidgeotto flew away, but the impact from Bide hit Pidgeotto, but just barely and he still stood his ground. "Great work, Pidgeotto." Ash complimented.

"I'm surprised at how well he's battling." Misty complimented.

"Huh? How so?" Kenny requested, confused from her compliment.

Misty looked over to him. "Pidgeotto had a tough time learning about how to work with Ash and his team from the start. But my guess is that Ash's Bulbasaur got a hold of him and straightened him." She said thoughtfully as there is a flashback of Bulbasaur dealing with Pidgeotto and Pidgeotto training.

"From what you just said. It sounds like Pigeotto has come a long way." Dawn pointed out.

"No kidding. Especially after taking that Bide." Kenny added.

"Now, Pidgeotto. Let's finish this." Ash told him and Pidgeotto acknowledged that saying his name and flapping his wings.

"He's certainly ready." Dawn stated.

"Now, Pidgeotto. Use Quick Attack." He called out. Pidgeotto flew in fast and hit Goomy, nearly knocking it out. Ash then grabbed up a Pokéball. "Okay, Pokéball. GO!" he exclaimed as he threw it and it bounced off the Goomy before it was withdrawn by a red light. It shook a few times before it stopped, being successfully caught. Ash went over and picked it up. "Alright! I caught… a Goomy!" Ash exclaimed as he held it up in the air.

"Nice catch, Ash." Kenny complimented.

"Thanks. Now to register it." Ash told them as he clicked the white button into the circular slot and hit a few buttons. Goomy started to register in his dex until the ring around it let off a flashing light and the Pokéball vanished.

"What the? Where did it go?" Dawn questioned.

"Back to Prof. Oak's lab. That's what happens when you get six Pokémon." Ash told her.

"That's something I haven't experienced before. Especially since I haven't managed to obtain more than six on my person." Dawn recalled.

"I do wonder how the others are doing?" Misty wondered.

"Go Gastrodon. Get ready for some maneuvers." Paul called out from another spot.

"I think we know where, now." Dawn pointed out before they ran in Paul's direction and Ash returned Pidgeotto before joining them.

"You really need to reconsider on how you phrase that." Zoey told him, a bit annoyed that his new catch phrase isn't the best.

"Not worried about that right now, Zoe." Paul told her as the others arrived and saw Paul with his Gastrodon - ready to battle a Goomy. "Now, go! Use Body Slam." Paul ordered. Gastrodon jumped up and

slammed on the Goomy as it didn't have enough time to dodge. "Now use Mud Shot." He added.

Gastrodon fired its mud shots but they barely impacted Goomy as it barely managed to dodge the attack.

"Missed that time." Kenny stated.

"Try Muddy Water." Misty told him.

"Right! Mu - " but before Paul could call out the attack Goomy fired a Dragon Breath which hit Gastrodon. "Dragon Breath?" Paul wondered in a surprised tone.

"Much like mine." Iris added.

"Then let's use Ancient Power." Paul ordered. Gastrodon built up its power quickly and fired it at Goomy, causing a lot of damage.

"This is your chance, Paul." Zoey told him.

"Right!" Paul acknowledged as he gave a small nod and grabbed his Pokéball. "Go… Pokéball." He called out and it went forward and bounced off the Goomy before withdrawing it. It shook a bit, leaving everyone on edge. It took a brief amount of time before it stopped and he went on over and picked it up. He then held it in the air. "Goomy! You're mine." He stated as he smiled. He opened his Pokédex and clicked the Pokéball on the circular slot and he started to register it until his did the same as Ash's. A flash of light around the ring then vanished.

Zoey walked up a few steps with her face in a confused manner. "You seriously need to work on those things and it looks like you're at your limit." She pointed out.

Paul merely looked at his Pokédex after she told him this, putting it away. "Maybe. But I'll work on them over time. Especially since I now have my latest Pokémon." He replied, but Zoey closed her eyes. A tad bit annoyed.

"Why is it that he does this?" she questioned herself.

"Well, he's your boyfriend." Dawn remined her.

Zoey looked over to her. "Don't remind me." She told her jokingly and the others shared in with her laugh.

"That's it, Talonflame. Keep it up." Calem praised.

"Seems like Calem is about to catch one as well." Ash stated.

"Let's see how it's going." Paul added as they all went to where Calem and Serena were after Paul returned his Gastrodon.

Once they arrived they saw Calem have his Talonflame out to battle a Goomy. Not only that, but they saw N and Hilda in their area. "Hey, guys! How's he doing?" Iris asked.

"He's doing pretty well and he about has his caught." Hilda told them.

"What about you? Did you catch one as well?" Ash asked.

"Yep. Caught it earlier. What about you, Hilbert?" she requested.

"Not right yet. I'll get one after this." Hilbert told her.

"Okay, Talonflame. Let's finish this. Use Steel Wing." He ordered. Talonflame went in hot, its wings glowing white before it made impact with Goomy, knocking it onto the ground. "Now! Go Pokéball." He called out as he threw it and it withdrew the Goomy in with the right light before it started to shake. When it did, it shook multiple times before it stopped, the red light turning off. After it did Calem went over and picked it up. "Yes! I now have a Goomy!" he simply stated until his Pokéball's ring around it flashed with a white light and disappeared. "Oh yeah. That's right. I'm at my limit." He commented.

"Return, Talonflame. You did great." He told his Pokémon as he complimented the Scorching Pokémon.

"I guess most of us are." Ash commented.

"We'll soon see with me." Hilbert told them as they went to look for one more Goomy. It didn't take long for them to find one and it didn't notice them until it turned and saw them. "So much for the surprise capture." Hilbert said as he got out a Pokéball. "Come on out, Boldore." Hilbert called out as the Ore Pokémon came out in a bright light, saying its name.

"Hey, Ash!" Misty exclaimed, seeing the same Pokémon he has.

"Yeah, Mist. I see it." Ash acknowledged.

"Huh? What's that Pokémon?" Dawn wondered as she brought out her Pokédex.

It gave off a beep. "Boldore, the Ore Pokémon and the evolved form of Roggenrola. Because its energy was too great to be contained, the energy leaked and formed orange crystals. When it is healthy, its core sticks out. Always facing the same way, it swiftly moves front to back and left to right." It informed her.

"Sounds pretty strong." Dawn commented.

"We'll soon see how strong it is." Zoey added.

"Now, Boldore. Use Headbutt." Hilbert called out. Boldore charged as fast as it could but Goomy jumped up.

"So much for that." Ash said as he sweat dropped.

"Excellent. Use Power Gem." Hilbert added. Boldore powered up aimed up and fired at the Goomy quickly, causing some really good damage.

"Wow! So he knew Goomy would dodge?" Iris wondered.

"I thought Goomy would try something as Boldore has lost its speed after evolving." Hilbert pointed out.

"That's pretty clever." Misty commented.

"Now Boldore. Use Mud-Slap." He added. Boldore hurled mud at the Goomy, causing even more damage, but Goomy powered itself up and fired a Dragon Breath as well. "Iron Defense." Hilbert told Boldore. Boldore barely had enough time and took some of the hit. "Best do this quick. Pokéball, go!" he exclaimed as he threw it and it bounced off of Goomy, withdrawing it. As it landed it shook multiple times, everyone awaiting to see if it would be caught. Unfortunately, the Pokéball burst open and Goomy looked a bit beat up and tired.

"Shoot! I thought he had it." Ash said out loud.

"I did too, but it looks like it's tired." Paul added.

Zoey looked over to Hilbert. "Try one or two more attacks." She told him.

"This one attack should deal with it. Not only that, but I do have a special ball for just in case." He mentioned. "Now go, Boldore! Use Mud-Slap one more time." He called out. Boldore hurled more mud towards Goomy hitting it, causing a bit more damage. Hilbert then brought out a black ball with what looked like a yellow 'U' on it. "Go Ultra ball." He called out as he threw it. After he threw it, it bounced off and withdrew Goomy. After it landed it shook multiple times and this time it stopped, the red light turning off. Hilbert went over and picked it up. "Alright! I caught… a Goomy!" he stated as he did his own pose. After that he returned his Boldore, complimenting it on a job well done.

"Nicely done." Ash congratulated.

"It seems like many of us have a Goomy." Paul stated.

"I'd suggest you guys switch Pokémon to see your newly caught Goomy." Zoey suggested.

They agreed and went back to the Pokémon Center. After they got there only Calem, Ash and Paul went up to the video phone as Hilda waited. Hilbert and Iris threw up their Pokéballs and out came their own respective Goomy. Iris went up to hers and knelt down to it.

"Well hi there. I'm glad to meet you and I hope we can get along." Iris told her Goomy. It only looked at her, a bit confused about her and she tilted her head as she noticed this. "Are you okay?" she requested.

Hilbert noticed this too as he went over to them. "I think that Goomy is confused about being here or something." He told her.

"Huh? Hang on. I think I got it." She replied as she glanced at her hair. "Hey, Axew." She called on and Axew popped out of her hair and she looked at Hilbert. "Glad I let Axew remain in my hair." She told him before looking at Axew. "Axew? Can you help us to understand what Goomy is trying to tell us?" she requested.

"Axew axew. (I certainly can.)" Axew replied as it came out and went up to Goomy.

"I do hope we find out why Goomy is confused." Iris told Hilbert as they heard Axew talking to Goomy.

"I do, too. Hopefully we'll get an answer soon." Hilbert replied.

Axew came back on over to them and they knelt down at the Tusk Pokémon. "So, what all is Goomy confused about?" Iris requested.

"Axew ax ax axew ax axew axew ax. (Goomy is confused about what all you plan on doing.)" Axew told her.

"Hmm! If I'm guessing correctly…" Iris started as she rubbed her chin. "Goomy is wondering why it's here and what I plan on doing with it?" she asked her Pokémon. Axew partly nodded. "Huh? Did I getsomething wrong?" she wondered.

"You probably got it close, but I think Axew said that Goomy was wondering what all you are planning on doing?" he wondered as well.

Axew nodded. "Axew axew. (You got it.)" Axew confirmed with a thumbs up claw.

Iris looked over to Hilbert. "Huh? You understood Axew?" she asked him.

"Yes. Or course. It took me a while to understand Pokémon, but it's still a bit difficult at times." He told her.

"How-how old are you?" she requested.

"I'm eleven. I'll be turning twelve in a while." He replied.

"Wow! Your about two years older than me. I'm ten." She told him.

They then heard the others come out and looked at them. "Seems like we got our Goomy's. Let's get a good look at them." Ash stated before he released his Pokéball into the air and out came his Goomy.

"Right on that one, Ash. Come on out, Goomy." Paul called out and his popped out as well, materializing next to Ash's. Calem, Hilbert and Hilda did the same and they saw each of their Goomy.

"Seems like we have a lot to learn about them. Shall we?" Hilda requested.

"Here we go. I'll take a look at mines attacks." Paul told them as he brought out his Pokédex and opened it and it scanned his Goomy. But he opened a small port on it so another camera could analyze it.

"What the hey! Ash?" Dawn pointed out.

"Yeah. I see." Ash confirmed.

The others looked at him. "What is it, Ash?" Misty requested.

"It's like back in Sinnoh. Paul brought out a device to further scan his Pokémon to know about it's attacks." He told her.

Paul looked at his Pokédex and saw the attacks his Goomy had. "Huh. Looks like my Goomy has not only has Dragon breath, but also Bubble, Absorb and Protect." He told them.

"Some pretty good moves. What all does mine have?" Iris requested until Hilbert brought out his Pokédex.

"Hang on. I gotcha." He told her as he opened up the same port. But when he did bring it out the dex was blue. "Let's see… besides yours knowing Dragon Breath, Tackle and Protect. It also knows Bide." He told her.

"Those are also some pretty good moves." Iris commented.

Hilbert then moved over to his Goomy and it analyzed the Soft Tissue Pokémon. "Seems like mine also knows Dragon Breath along with Flail, Bide and Protect." He told them.

Ash, Calem and Hilda each got out their dex's and did the same with theirs.

"It looks like mine has very similar attacks. Protect, Tackle, Dragon Breath and Absorb." Ash told them.

"Absorb for mine as well. Along with Protect, Bide and Bubble. Seems like mine hasn't learned Dragon Breath yet.

"Mine has Bubble, Dragon Breath, Bide and Protect." Hilda told them.

"It seems like all but one has learned Dragon Breath. And each of these Goomy are pretty strong." Paul noted.

"Also, I noticed the Pokéball you used. It's an Ultra Ball?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. I managed to grab this up from the Poke Mart a couple of weeks ago." Hilbert told them.

"That reminds me of the different Pokémon balls that Kurt made." Misty recalled.

"Jeez, Mist. That's certainly been a while." Ash added.

"In which, does remind me about the GS ball." Misty commented.

"GS ball?" Dawn wondered. But when this was mentioned, it caught N's attention.

"Yeah, you see, a while back we were given a ball. The GS ball from Prof. Ivy in the Orange Islands to give to Prof. Oak, then he sent us to Johto to give the ball to Kurt. To see if he could figure it out." Ash told them.

With Kurt, he was working on another Pokéball as he hit it hard with the hammer. As he did he recalled something once again and looked over at the GS ball, which was still sitting on a stand. There was something he knew about it and he honestly thought he had it narrowed down to what the GS ball was.

Back with he others, they were getting to know their own Goomy. Even N was with his girlfriends Goomy, trying to understand it. He looked at it, trying to read off of it. "Well now. You must be one specialGoomy, from what I can tell." He told it.

Hilda came over and saw him with her newly caught Goomy. "What do you think so far?" she asked him.

"He looked to her and stood up. "It seems like your Goomy is comfortable with you. He also seems very strong as well." N pointed out.

"Huh? He?" she questioned.

N gave off a couple of nods. "Yes, he. I was capable of reading off of Goomy of what gender he is." He told her.

"Huh? You can read that off of a Pokémon?" Iris questioned as she went over to him.

"At times, yes. It isn't that hard sometimes, but it can be quite difficult if the Pokémon isn't open. A bit hard to explain in those areas." He stated.

"It seems like you're able to communicate with Pokémon very well." Iris commented.

"Sometimes, yes. I just hope that each Goomy is comfortable inside of their Pokéball s." N told them.

"Goomy goomy goom. (I most certainly am.)" Goomy replied.

N looked at him in surprise and disbelief. "Huh? You are?" he requested.

"Goomy goom goomy, goomy goomy. (It's a little cramped at first, but I got comfortable later on.)" Goomy explained.

N backed up slightly at Goomy's response. "Well now. That's surprising." He acknowledged.

"What is it?" Hilda asked him.

N looked at them with a very surprised look on his face. "It seems like Goomy is comfortable with staying inside of his Pokéball ." N told them.

"I'm guessing it's because of how they manage to get comfortable in those Pokéball s over time." Ash told them.

N then looked to Pikachu. "How do you feel, Pikachu? About your own Pokéball . I know what Ash told me, but I want to know how you feel." He told him.

"Pika chu pika pi pika, chu pika pi pika. (I felt a bit cramped, but more relieved after I was let out of it.)" Pikachu explained.

"Hmm… let me see." N said thoughtfully.

"He said he was relieved when he was released from his Pokéball ." Ash explained to him.

"Well now. You certainly know how to communicate with your Pikachu, don't you?" N requested.

"Yeah! Pikachu and I have been buds since the start of our journey." Ash replied.

"And I started traveling with you around that same time." Misty reminded him.

"So you both have been traveling since childhood?" Hilbert wondered.

"Close enough to it, yeah." Ash told him.

"Even though I'm the oldest. I had already been through Kanto and Hoenn before I went through Sinnoh for the first time." Paul explained.

"My guess is that you're probably eighteen?" Dawn wondered.

"Right on point right there." Paul confirmed.

"And yet I'm seventeen." Zoey told them. "I honestly started off in Hoenn first because I felt like I wanted to go to the origin of contests first." Zoey told them.

"I like how we went from Pokémon in Pokéball s to ages then to how we started our journeys, ha ha." Kenny pointed out.

"Yeah. We certainly got off track." Calem confirmed.

"Either way. It is good to know and understand where we all started and how the Pokémon feel." N told them.

"But I think that by tomorrow we're going to be heading out as I'm attempting to get the badges to compete in the Kanto League." Hilbert told them.

"Same with me. We're traveling for the same thing." Hilda told them.

"Awe. You guys are leaving tomorrow?" Iris asked very disappointed.

"I'm afraid so, yeah." Hilbert replied.

"We'll be doing the same thing tomorrow." Paul told them.

"Yeah. We're going to continue our travels tomorrow so Paul and Calem can get the badges for the Kanto league as well." Ash informed them.

"Me and Serena are going through the Kanto region to get our ribbons. I'm teaching her how to be a great coordinator." Dawn told them.

"I'm hoping to get far in the Pokémon Contests so I can take on Dawn in the Grand Festival." Serena added.

"It seems like we all have our destinations in life. I just hope we each can reach our goal." N commented.

It was throughout that day that everyone had gotten to train with their Goomy and their Goomy were introduced to their Pokémon companions. After all was finished with the trainers and their Goomy theyall got ready for bed. Dawn and Zoey each shared the rest room in their own room as Ash, Misty and Paul waited their turns. Serena shared a restroom with Iris as others had to wait their turn as well.

After many of them were finished, Ash and Misty shared the restroom as well. Misty changed into her pyjama underwear before Ash went in and they brushed their teeth and such. Afterwards, Misty was now in her pjs and she and Pikachu joined Ash in bed as Zoey joined Paul. Dawn and Kenny slept above each couple.

Misty looked at Ash and he her and they both smiled at each other before Misty nuzzled into his chest. From there Ash kissed her head and nuzzled his head into her hair. "Night Mist." He told her.

"Night Ash." She replied as he held her close.

Paul held Zoey close and her arms were wrapped around him. "Night. Zoe." He told her,

She kissed his cheek and nuzzled into him. "Night, Paul." She replied.

In the separate room. Serena and Calem stayed in that room with Iris. Hilbert Hilda and N had their own separate room next to theirs. Iris was thinking though. About Hilbert. She couldn't shake what she was feeling. It was very strong. It was right there she knew she had a decision to make. Either continue traveling with her friends, or travel with Hilbert, Hilda and N. Being close to the one she has strong feelings for. She knew she would have to make her decision more in the morning.

As the sun had risen, it shown over everyone once it went through the window. It began to hit most of everyone's faces which caused them to stir a little. It took a bit of time, but Misty got up along withZoey. Misty looked down to Ash and smiled softly at him, seeing how he was still asleep. Zoey kissed Paul's cheek as she got up and Msity did the same with Ash.

Zoey grabbed up her stuff and looked over to Misty. "You ready for the day to begin?" she asked.

"Pretty much, yeah." Misty replied as she got up and grabbed her stuff.

They both went in the restroom and changed and came out to see the boys get up and Dawn come down, rubbing her eye. "That was a pretty good nights sleep." She commented.

"No kidding. And it's about time for us to head out." Kenny said as he slipped down off the top bunk.

"Hmm. Did you both change already?" Paul asked as he looked to both his girlfriend and Misty.

"Yep. We're changed. Now it you fours turn." Zoey told them.

"Especially since we have a distance to travel. Right buddy?" Ash asked his partner as he looked at him on the bottom bunk.

"Pika pika. (I certainly am.)" Pikachu replied.
It everyone a bit of time to change and get ready to head out. They all had some breakfast before meeting up in the lobby.

"I guess this is it, huh?" N asked them.

"I'd say so, yeah. Hopefully we'll meet up again, soon." Ash told him.

"I'm sure we will. Especially in the Sinnoh League." Hilbert told Ash.

"For me, I'm going into the Battle Frontier." Paul added.

"The Battle Frontier? I think I've heard of that." Hilbert replied out loud as he rubbed his chin thinking of where he heard it from.

"It's a pretty tough challenge. They're almost as strong as the Eliete Four." Ash told them.

"Almost as strong as the Eliete Four? I strongly doubt I'd be ready for anything like that." Hilbert stated.

"Likewise with me and I think I know where I've heard it from." Hilda told them thoughtfully.

"Probably from trainers like me and Ash, or o=possibly Scott. He's the one in charge of the Battle Frontier." Paul told them.

"In either case. Shall we get going?" N requested, ready to get back on the road.

They each nodded as they knew they had to get moving but Iris stepped up. "Uuhhh, I'd like to make a request." She told them. They looked at her wondering what her request. "I… uuhhh… I'd like to join up with Hilbert, Hilda and N on their journey." Iris told them They all looked surprised and confused about her request and Iris knew she would have to explain. "The main reason is because of this. With how I have been training with you guys does make me feel like I'm a part of the team, at times. But I've noticed something else ever since I met Hilbert at the dance. Like I need to truly discover something." She told them

The other girls could tell it was one out of two things with Iris. She was either in love or had a major crush on Hilbert. They understood and smiled at her and gave a couple of nods in approval.

Ash, their leader, went up to her, wondering if this is what she wanted to do. "Are you sure about this? It might be a while until we see - " "Yes. I'm sure. And, we'll see each other again real soon. I just need to journey with them for the time being." She told Ash.

He nodded and held out his hand. "We'll see ya soon, then." He told her.

She smiled, took his hand and shook it as she looked up and into his eyes with a lot of determination. "You got it and I'll train hard with them as well." Iris told him.

"I hope you do. Especially with how strong your Axew is. I know it'll get stronger as well." Ash replied to her as he smiled.

Not long after they all bid farewell to Iris and she bid farewell to them as well. Knowing she'll see them relatively soon.

As they departed Mity took Ash's arm. "I'm glad were on the road again." She told him.

"No kidding. I just hope I can get my next Frontier Symbol." Paul added.

Zoey took his arm and smiled at him. "I know you will. All you just need is a little more training is all." She told him.

"And you by my side." He acknowledged and put his hand on her arm to keep her close.

As the main leaders of the group walked in front, Serena, Dawn, Calem and Kenny each watched from the rear. "I'm glad to still see Paul and Zoey together. But what of Ash and Misty?" Kenny wondered.

"It might take some time for those two. We'll just have to wait and see when they make their move." Dawn added.

"I will admit, I'll be very happy for those two as they're going to make a great couple." Serena commented before she looked over to Dawn and Kenny. "And yet. I wonder about you two as well." She thought to herself, but then she looked over to Calem. "I do also wonder. What of me and Calem? I honestly do feel something for him, and I think it's love." She added before continuing on with them.

As our heroes continue on down their path for their journey in Kanto. There's no telling what surprises are in store for them, but we'll find out more as the journey continues.

Else where with Team Rocket. They're looking at some ancient texts and pictures. Even ones with something that looks like a diamond, a pearl, two spheres, the same emerald that Delia has, two items that look like an XY and two that are sun and mood shaped.

"So, Dr. Zager. You're telling us these artifacts can lead us to an ultimate power?" James asked him.

"Yes. Each of these artifacts can lead us to an ultimate power. Something that can give Team Rocket total control over the planet. All we need to do is the proper research and we'll be set in stone." He informed them.

"How much longer until we are ready to strike?" Jessie requested.

"It shouldn't be long now. All we need to do is find these artifacts and I know where some of these are located." He told them.

"Where are we to go foist?" Meowth requested.

"To Hoenn first. Once there we can find the same spheres that led to Team Aqua and Magma's downfall. And then, we'll head for Sinnoh." He told them then he grew a smirk on his face. "Team Plasma won't know what hit them once we strike at them." He stated before we all looked at the arti facts and an image of Arceus is seen on one of the arti facts with what looks to be a bit of land behind him with something going on in the stone as some of the Legendries are around him.

Tom: So far, that's it with the next episode for Pokemon: Heroic Heart and Super Soul.

Sara: We do have a bit of an announcement, but first quite a bit of shout-outs.

Tom: No kidding. We have shout-outs towards KomisawaS, Blast_Chance, piplup223, ValtSaber, Kasumiwaterflow, ChampionBlaze25, SereSat0, pkmndowntheline, Poke_Crys, pkmndowntheline, MiyaToriyaka and so much more.

Sara: But with his announcement, he might be ending the series a bit sooner than expected.

Tom: No kidding, We may have one or two episodes left. But this fall is when he'll be releasing his next series: Pokémon: Heart and Soul – Frontier Quest.

Sara: Not only that, but TimPrime1 is looking into a university to attend to try and get his Bachelors in Elementary Education. There's a whole lot of work he's trying to get done. And it ain't easy.

Tom: You got that right, and with the other works he's trying to focus on, it ain't easy with a busy life.

Sara: You know it, but at least we're getting it all done. Even if it is little by little.
