Wild knocked and Skye opened the door. "Wild, thank you for coming," she said. Chase was on the couch. Kylo wanted to be a part of this conversation, but his parents knew it would upset him. "Kylo, go upstairs," Chase said. "No," Kylo replied. "Go upstairs," Chase repeated firmly, and Kylo had no choice. "Kato, Selene, and Taliyah, you make sure he stays in his room," Skye said to the triplets.

"Man, this must be serious if you don't want Kylo to hear our conversation," Wild said, stepping into the room.

Chase nodded, his expression weary. "It is. We're worried about how the bond is affecting him. Luna's connection to him is so strong, and we fear it's overwhelming him."

Skye sighed, running a hand through her hair. "We know Luna means well, but Kylo needs space to figure things out on his own. We're hoping you can help us find a way to support him without severing their bond entirely."

Wild's eyes hardened as he glanced at Chase and Skye. "Severing the bond? That is not something I would ever do. It would destroy them both," he said, his voice resolute.

"He relies on her too much; we feel like he doesn't think for himself anymore. The past three days keeping them apart has been so hard," Skye said.

"Why are you keeping them apart?" Wild asked, his confusion evident. He had no idea what had happened.

"Luna took advantage of him while he was talking to a bully. She made him shift at school. He obviously had no choice, and it worries us," Skye said, her voice tinged with concern and frustration.

"Okay, I get that, but you need to realize that her connection to Kylo is through his wolf. Just like your wolf, Chase, chose Skye. For them, it is more complicated as they are kids. Yes, Luna can control him, and that is something they need to find a balance for, but it will only ever become a problem if he is fully grown. Tearing them apart now as kids will force his wolf to take action. If he is separated from her for too long, he will lose himself completely. I know it scares you, but he needs Luna to guide him. Luna is the one who is keeping him human."

Wild's words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of their implications. Chase and Skye exchanged concerned glances, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"So we shouldn't keep them apart? We thought if she made him turn too many times he would stay a wolf?" Skye said, her voice trembling with concern.

Wild sighed, shaking his head slightly. "Well, yes, that can happen, but it won't for a while. He is still young and they have time to figure it all out. Separating them like this is just forcing his wolf to take control. The best thing you can do is monitor their interactions and guide them when necessary. But keeping them apart will only cause more harm than good."

"So breaking the bond would be bad?" Chase said, his voice filled with uncertainty.

"Yes," Wild replied firmly. "Breaking their bond would cause irreparable damage to both of them. Right now, Luna is the one grounding Kylo to his human side. Without her, his wolf might take over completely, and he could lose his sense of self."

Chase nodded slowly, absorbing Wild's words. "I see. We were trying to protect Kylo, but it seems we might have been doing more harm than good."

Skye bit her lip, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "We're just scared. We want what's best for him."

"I know and I get that, but the universe knew what it was doing. The Ultima wolf needs to be guided. Chase, your connection was stronger because you had the original Ultima guiding you. It didn't affect you so much because you were older when it happened. He was turned as a baby, when you bit him making him an Ultima wolf. It's just harder for him to navigate. That is why the universe gave him the guardian," Wild said.

"Okay, thank you, we feel awful now," Skye said, her voice barely a whisper. She wiped away a tear that had escaped down her cheek.

Wild placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "It's understandable. You're both trying to do what's best for Kylo. You just need to trust that the bond between him and Luna will help him find his way."

Chase and Skye knew they needed to let Kylo see Luna, and stop this separation. They only wanted what was best for him, and they had no idea they were making it worse for him. Understanding the gravity of their mistake, they resolved to change their approach immediately.

"We'll do better," Chase said, his voice steady with determination. "We'll make sure they have the chance to be together and support each other."

Skye nodded in agreement, her heart heavy but hopeful. "Yes, it's the only way. We need to trust in their bond."

Wild smiled gently at them, his eyes reflecting a deep understanding. "That's the right decision. Trust the bond, guide them, and everything will fall into place."

Wild left and Chase went upstairs to talk to Kylo, he was trying so hard not to lose it, the triplets were struggling to keep him in his room. Kylo's eyes were wild, flickering between human and wolf, a clear sign of his internal battle. His growls filled the room, echoing off the walls and seeping into the hearts of his siblings, who held him with firm yet compassionate grips.

"Kylo, listen to me!" Chase called out, his voice cutting through the chaos. He approached slowly, ensuring that Kylo could see him, sense his presence. "We were wrong to keep you away from Luna. We thought we were protecting you, but we were only hurting you more."

Kylo's eyes locked onto Chase, a glimmer of understanding breaking through the turmoil. "Luna," he whispered, his voice strained and broken.

"Yes, Luna," Chase replied gently. "You need her, and she needs you. We're going to stop the separation. You two will be together again."

The triplets exchanged relieved glances, their grips loosening as Kylo began to calm. The struggle within him was far from over, but the hope Chase offered was a lifeline.

Kylo smiled and ran out of his room. "Thank you, Mom," he said as he hugged Skye too and ran out the door. He was going to see Luna; they were letting him see her at last.

Kylo ran with purpose, his heart pounding in his chest, driven by the hope of seeing Luna again. He finally arrived at her house, barely pausing to catch his breath before knocking on the door. The sound of footsteps approached, and the door swung open to reveal Ryder, looking puzzled.

"Kylo? Are you supposed to be here?" Ryder asked, his brow furrowing with concern.

Before Ryder could react, Luna heard Kylo's name. She darted past her father like a flash of lightning and threw her arms around Kylo. "Kylo, my Kylo," she whispered, her voice filled with relief and love.

Meanwhile, Katie's phone rang, breaking the moment's tranquility. She answered swiftly and listened intently as Chase explained the situation. "Katie, we realized that keeping Kylo and Luna apart was a mistake. They need each other. We have to support their bond, not separate them."

Katie nodded, understanding the gravity of the decision. "Got it, Chase. I'll do whatever it takes to keep them together."

Luna just held him, she could feel his emotions; the separation had taken its toll. She was there for him the way he needed her. Kylo clung to her, his breath shaky, as though he feared she might disappear if he let go.

"I'm here, Kylo. I'm not going anywhere," Luna whispered soothingly, her fingers tenderly brushing through his hair.

Ryder stepped back, the initial concern in his eyes softening into a look of understanding. He knew how important this moment was for both of them. He quietly closed the door, giving them the privacy they needed.

"Luna, I missed you so much," Kylo murmured, his voice choked with emotion. "I felt so lost without you."

Luna pulled back just enough to look into his eyes, her gaze filled with unwavering love. "I missed you too, Kylo. But we're together now, and nothing is going to keep us apart again."

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace, the weight of their time apart began to lift. The bond they shared, once strained, started to mend. It was as if their hearts were synchronizing once more, beating in unison.

"I'm scared, Luna," Kylo confessed, his voice trembling. "What if they try to separate us again?"

Luna tightened her embrace, her warmth enveloping him like a protective shield. "No one is going to keep us apart. We're stronger together. We'll face whatever comes our way, side by side."

Kylo looked into Luna's eyes, finding solace in her unwavering determination. He felt a flicker of hope ignite within him, a promise of brighter days ahead. "Thank you, Luna," he whispered. "I believe in us."

With that, Kylo and Luna stood firmly, their bond unbreakable, ready to face the future together.

Luna wanted nothing more than for Kylo to stay, but uncertainty weighed heavily on her mind. She didn't know if her parents or his would allow it. They were still young, and despite the profound connection they shared, Luna and Kylo were just best friends. The bond between them had grown stronger over time, blossoming into an unwavering support system, yet it hadn't crossed the boundaries into something more.

The room was filled with the quiet hum of their breaths, a silent testament to the depth of their friendship. Luna's heart ached with the desire to keep Kylo close, but she knew the complexities of their situation. The world outside their embrace was filled with expectations and responsibilities that neither of them could ignore.

Luna reluctantly loosened her grip, her heart heavy with the impending farewell. "You should go, Kylo. It's getting late, and your parents might worry."

Kylo nodded, though his eyes reflected the same reluctance.

"Okay, but keep your mind link on, okay?" he said, a faint smile touching his lips as he reached out to gently touch her cheek.

Luna nodded, her eyes shimmering with unspoken promises. "I will. We'll always be connected, no matter the distance. We can reach each other whenever we need to."

With one last hug, Kylo turned and walked away, hoping not to run into any trouble on the way home. It was only a few blocks to his house, but the darkness of the evening made the familiar path feel more daunting. The streetlights cast long shadows, and the occasional rustling of leaves in the wind seemed louder than usual.

Kylo didn't make it far before trouble found him in the form of Silas, his relentless bully. Silas stepped out from the shadows, a sneer curling his lips.

"Well if it isn't the puppy of the school? They let you off your leash?" Silas said.

Kylo's heart sank as he faced Silas. He wanted to avoid confrontation, but there was no escape now. Silas's presence was like a dark cloud, suffocating the glimmer of hope Luna had ignited within him.

Silas took a step closer, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Where do you think you're going, Kylo? Running home to mommy and daddy?"

Kylo clenched his fists, summoning the courage Luna had always admired in him. "Leave me alone, Silas. I don't want any trouble."

Silas laughed, a harsh sound that echoed in the night. "Trouble? You're already in it, puppy. No one's around to save you now."

Just then, another figure emerged from the shadows—Jack, Silas's usual sidekick. Unlike Silas, Jack's expression was more conflicted, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.

"Come on, Silas, let's just go," Jack said, his voice almost pleading.

Silas's sneer deepened, turning his malevolent gaze towards Jack. "Stop being such a wuss, Jack. You used to bully him too, remember?"

"Yeah, but it was dumb. Let's just leave him alone, come on," Jack said, his voice firmer this time.

Silas's eyes narrowed, the sneer still plastered on his face. "No, I need him for something, and he is going to help me," he declared, taking another threatening step toward Kylo.

Kylo tried to reach out to Luna in his mind, using the mental link they shared. He desperately hoped she would sense his distress and come to his aid. But Silas was too close, and the malevolent aura he exuded disrupted Kylo's concentration. The words of Silas cut through the night like a sharp blade.

Kylo's heart raced as Silas's words cut through the tension. "Nap time, wolf," Silas said, pulling out a needle filled with wolfsbane. The glint of the needle in the moonlight sent a shiver down Kylo's spine.

Panic surged through him; the wolfsbane would incapacitate him and make him vulnerable. He needed to act quickly. He took a deep breath, attempting to steady his nerves and think clearly despite the fear gripping his heart.

Kylo's breath caught in his throat as Silas lunged forward. He tried to dodge, but the fear had already paralyzed his muscles. Silas's grip was ironclad, and before Kylo could muster any resistance, the needle pierced his skin.
