Good evening,

I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Oxford Not Brogues

Chapter Eleven

With her uniform perfectly back in order, Seras tries to focus on the mission at hand. Okay. Glenn Hallewelle currently isn't home. Either he's out, fled because Evans was murdered, or he was killed elsewhere. Whatever happened to him, that gives Alucard and I a chance to snoop and collect evidence. Maybe we can find out more about our target and what kind of deals these three idiots were trying to make with him. Going back to the coffee table, Seras looks at the small baggies filled partially with a vibrant blue powder, about the same texture and fineness as cocaine, though she's unsure if it is meant to be snorted like coke. The other questionable drug was the same vibrant blue but in thin, dissolvable square patches that were about two centimeters across and two centimeters down. Is this similar to LSD?

"What do you think these are?" Seras asks her master. "Drugs?"

"So it seems." Alucard responds, staying glued to his spot with his hands in his pockets.

"I've never seen drugs like these before." The Draculina mutters while shaking her head.

"Nor have I, but I am not stunned by their existence. Humans will always want more of anything to make themselves feel even the slightest bit better. They're greedy, selfish creatures." The elder vampire scoffs. Seras doesn't respond as she grabs a nearby shoe box, dumps out an old pair of shoes, and places the vibrant blue drugs into the box so she can take it back to HeadQuarters with her. Leaving the box on the coffee table, she decides to look around the rest of the flat. She looks under the couch and the cushions, but only finds dust bunnies and leftover bits of food. "Honestly, I think you're giving him too much credit. He seems like an absolute fool who won't even bother hiding any incriminating evidence."

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Seras sighs and climbs to her feet. "But I'd rather search this place with a fine tooth comb than just assume nothing is hidden."

"Very well. Have at it." Her master responds with a nod. He then stations himself by a wall, leaning back against it. Seras' eyebrow twitches in annoyance.

"Oh, don't help or anything. I got it." She says sarcastically, but only gets a chuckle from the infuriating male.

"Talk to me like that again and I'll put you over my knee, Police Girl." Alucard warns her. "The flat is small. It'll take you no time to search it. So quit complaining and get to work." Seras clenches her hands into tight fists and grumbles under her breath, but doesn't dare cross him, mostly because she's really not in the mood to argue. She goes across the room where her master is standing and over to a large, but extremely empty bookshelf. There's a single book that looks brand new but clearly hasn't been touched at all considering the layer of dust that coats the cover. There's a couple of magazines from pornography to guns and ammo to cars. With those are a few stray CDs, a boom box, a stack of cassettes, and a plant that's been dead for months.

Seras carefully looks through all of his things, under the bookshelf, and even behind it, but she finds absolutely nothing. She even checks the book, CDs, and cassettes to see if there's anything hidden inside, but still nothing. Seras sighs in frustration before heading for the kitchen.

"Do you wish Michaelis was here?" Alucard asks as he watches her every move, still refusing to help in any way.

"It would certainly make things easier, but I'm not discouraged. I'm determined to flip over this entire flat if it means helping to find those little girls." Seras tells him, assuming he meant if she wishes for the demon to be here because he has super speed. She doesn't see it, but Alucard frowns. As she searches the cabinets and drawers, her master speaks again.

"No," He responds. "Do you miss him?" The Draculina pauses at those words, seemingly surprised that it was asked. She then turns to look over at her master.

"Miss him?" She repeats, as if she doesn't understand what he's asking. "Why are you asking me that?" Alucard stares at her without blinking. There's such an incredibly impassive look on his face that Seras can't tell at all what he's feeling or thinking. What she doesn't know is the strange…sensation, almost an ache, in the old monster's heart. He swallows, the action so subtle that his Adam's apple doesn't even move. He doesn't tell her, but there is a reason why he asked her that question. He's simply curious if his Draculina ever...misses Michaelis or…him. Sex aside, does she ever think about them? Does she ever crave their companionship?

For the first time in many, many years, Alucard had missed someone. Last night, after the violent sex and he found himself alone in his chambers, he came to find that he missed Seras. Not the sex, but her. He missed her warmth, her scent, her voice, her eyes, her touch, and even the sound of her beating heart. All he wanted was to have her there with him, locked away in his arms with his face buried in her hair as they both drift off to sleep together. It ashamed and disappointed him that he felt this way; that he wanted something so…basic and human and…warm, but he can't deny what he had felt or wanted. He just doesn't understand why he felt it. But feeling it makes him wonder if Seras ever feels the same way. Does she ever miss Michaelis or myself? When Alucard doesn't elaborate in any way, Seras proceeds.

"I saw him almost an hour ago and I'll see him later tonight. I don't think there's much room to actually miss him." Seras tells him honestly.

"You don't ever think about his voice or warmth? You don't ever crave just to have him near?" Alucard asks her, displeased with her previous answer. The look in his eyes darken.

"Warmth? What warmth?" The Draculina sniggers. "He's so…cold and…" Seras stops herself when she remembers how Sebastian made her feel at the crime scene. How he stood up for her and told her how proud he was of her. It wasn't sexual, but…tender and…warm. "Huh," Seras hums after coming to that realization. She then glances back at her master. "He's not cold all the time. He can be warm when he wants to be, and…yeah, I do miss that warmth. So…I guess…in some way, I do miss him." The more she thinks about it, the more she realizes that she does miss Sebastian. She misses his voice and the way he looks at her. She misses his laugh and just having him near.

"I miss him." Seras fully admits to Alucard. "And it's not because of the sex. I just…" She trails off to process her own thoughts and try to put them into words. "Before we…got into this…thing that we have," Seras continues, refusing to use the word 'relationship' so she doesn't anger her master. "Sometimes, I would miss you and Sebastian." The look in Alucard's eyes soften considerably when he finally hears that he has been missed by her. Seras gives him a refreshing smile. "You're both the closest thing I have to family." Alucard stares at her for a long while, admiring that look in her eyes, before he gives her a response.

"I suppose I feel as if I have familial ties with you as well." The elder vampire admits softly with a warm, genuine smile on his face that causes his fledgling's heart to flutter in adoration.

"I guess we have a pretty strange relationship, don't we, Master?" The little vampire laughs while she rubs the back of her head. "Master and servant, student and teacher, we see each other as family, and I'm your special, little toy. Honestly, I never thought in a million years that I would end up in such a strange, entanglement of a relationship, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else in this world. I'm glad that I met you and Sebastian." I'm glad to have a family again, even if it is a weird one. Alucard hears his Draculina's thoughts. The elder vampire snickers in amusement, but his smile only widens.

"Nor would I, Draculina." Alucard purrs. "Go ahead and return to your search now. I won't bother you."

"But you could help." Seras mumbles playfully under her breath, not truly angry with him any more. She then turns back to the kitchen cabinets and drawers to search through them some more. Since the kitchen is so small, it takes Seras no time to look through everything. Unfortunately, she doesn't find a shred of evidence. "Damnit," She curses and closes the oven door. Turning, her eyes scan the flat. Where haven't I looked yet? The girl hums in consideration. The bathroom, the bedroom, and the closet. Sighing, the girl heads to the nearest room, which is the bathroom. However, she isn't expecting to walk into a bathroom that's straight out of a gas station horror story.

Seras gags from the mere sight and smell. The sink is grimey and is possibly covered in what looks to be black mold. A cockroach has made the basin its home. The mirror is covered in white streaks and maybe even snot, though Seras really doesn't want to think about it. The toilet hasn't been cleaned…or flushed for that matter in some time. Lastly, the shower is covered in black filth and has dozens of cockroaches and tiny black bugs living in it.

"This is disgusting!" Seras shouts from the bathroom. Alucard, still glued to his spot, laughs at how disgusted she sounds. "Who can live like this?!" Giving up on this room, the fledgling puts her hands up in surrender and walks out of the filthy bathroom. "Nope! You couldn't pay me to search that bathroom!"

"Oh? Not even if the currency was sex?" Alucard purrs with a wide grin on his face. He's curious to see what it would take to make her search that room. To his surprise, Seras shakes her head.

"No," She answers clearly. "Not even for sex!"

"You break my heart." The elder vampire jests as he places a hand over his 'wounded' heart. "Michaelis will be equally heartbroken when he learns about this." Seras rolls her eyes at her master. "How about another kiss from Michaelis? Then would you do it?"

"I'm not looking in that biohazard of a bathroom!" Seras repeats. "And I know for a fact that Sebastian doesn't want to kiss me. Like me and that bathroom, you couldn't pay him to do it!" Alucard's eyes narrow on her. I'm almost positive he would do it for free. He theorizes, uncertain if he read the demon correctly or not. There was definitely something different about him after he kissed Seras. Almost as if he enjoyed it. Not to mention, during sex, he couldn't help but cover her throat in kisses. Yet, he acts like it's the worst thing in the world. Why? Is he putting that act on for me? Too concerned about how I will view him? Perceive him as weak? Well, when it comes to Seras, it seems we both have our weaknesses for her that we're trying to hide from each other, and especially from her.

Leaving Alucard in the living room, Seras heads to the back of the flat where the bedroom is located. Luckily enough, she doesn't have to look long for any evidence since, like Alucard predicted, Hallewelle didn't bother hiding most incriminating evidence. Right on his dresser is a manilla envelope that Seras doesn't hesitate emptying its contents out on the bed, and what she finds is highly concerning. There are at least a dozen pictures of Hallewelle walking around London with a child or two. Seras flips through the pictures. There is one of him and a teenage girl that looks so incredibly uncomfortable but submissively stays at his side. There's another of him carrying a five year old girl with ebony skin. Another of him waiting on a bench with a three year old boy beside him. Picture after picture, it's Hallewelle with a different child.

"What?" Seras whispers under her breath, feeling sick to her stomach. What was he doing with all of those children? Is this all of them? Or were there more children? And who took these pictures? She keeps flipping through the stack, unable to stop until she comes across a note between two photos. Using letters cut out of various magazines and newspapers, someone had put together a note for Hallewell.

I see you.

Here are copies of my finest work. I have more pictures of you. If you don't want anyone knowing what you're doing to those children, then pay up.

500 grand and the rest of the pictures are yours.

Meet me by the fountain in Green Park.

7/15 at 8:30 pm

Seras' eyes widen when seeing the date. "That's today." She mutters before looking around the room for a clock, but finds none. "That's why he's not here." Her eyes fly over the note, reading it once more. "Master," She calls out to him, sounding distracted. She hears his footsteps and then feels his presence behind her.

"What did you find?" Alucard asks as he looks at the note over her shoulder.

"Hallewelle is being blackmailed. That's why he's not home right now. It seems he went to take care of this." Seras tells him. She then drops the note on the bed and flicks through the pictures one more time for her master. "I…I think he's been kidnapping children. I just…don't know what he's been doing with them."

"It seems he may be the one behind the Evans' children's disappearance." Alucard considers.

"Maybe," Seras whispers, sounding and looking uncertain. "But…that threat on the wall seemed like it was for him and Williams. It…seems more like…the target took the children." The Draculina then jumps and looks back at her master with a look of realization. "Is this the deal Hallewelle, Evans, and Williams made with our target? Trafficking children? Why does he want children?"

"For what other purpose but for satisfaction?" Alucard put it bluntly. The Draculina winces at that horrible, but realistic theory. "He's either using them to satisfy his hunger or his sexual needs. Maybe even both."

"Oh god," Seras murmurs, looking a little green from nausea. "That is fucking sick!"

"It's good evidence that should be given to our master. Have you found anything else?" Alucard asks, watching as his fledgling places all the pictures and the note back in the manilla envelope.

"Nothing else yet." She responds. "Should we go after Hallewelle? We know his location." She glances up at her master, hoping they can track down the bastard and put an end to the kidnapping.

"I'll go. You stay and search for more evidence." Alucard orders his servant. Before her very eyes, her master vanishes without a trace. Taking the manilla envelope, Seras walks back out into the living room to place it in the box with the drugs she had found. Afterwards, she heads back to the bedroom and looks through his dresser drawers, under his bed, and in his closet. In the back of the closet, stuffed inside a duffle bag, she finds tons of more of the vibrant blue drugs as well as a loaded gun and stacks and stacks of cash.

"Woah!" Seras exclaims as she shifts around the pile of cash. "There has to be at least a couple hundred grand in here! There's no way a common drug dealer makes this much! Where did he get it all?"

"Hallewelle isn't there." Alucard speaks somewhere behind her. To his surprise, she isn't startled by his sudden presence. Instead, she calmly glances at him from over her shoulder.

"That was fast." She murmurs and gets up with the bag in hand. "And the blackmailer?"

"Dead," The elder vampire answers. "It appears Hallewelle has been initiated in the chipped freak program because the blackmailer has been drained of his blood."

"Great," Seras scoffs. Just one more problem added to our list. "Look what I found." She holds open the bag to show him the contents. "It seems he not only trafficks kids, but is a drug dealer." Her eyes then widen and she gasps as she looks back at the cash. "Do you think this money is what he earned for trafficking those kids?!" Seras connects the dots.

"More than likely." Alucard responds as he studies her.

"God!" The frustrated and disgusted girl growls. "I can't wait to catch this bastard!" Her lovely blue eyes shifted to even lovelier blood red color. Upon seeing them change, Alucard grins while he admires the unholy look in her gorgeous eyes. "I so want to kill him! Can I, Master? Oh, please! Let me be the one to kill him!" His fledgling begs.

"Trust me when I say that I regret telling you that I can't let you kill him." The elder vampire responds, earning a growl of frustration from the girl. She even stomps her little foot, making her look unbelievably adorable. It makes me want her all the more. "When we find him, we have to bring him in for questioning. Then, if our master wants him dead, I will most definitely let you kill him." Alucard purrs, looking aroused. Seras sighs, but pauses to stare at her master.

"Fine," She huffs after a moment. "But holding myself back from killing that sick fuck won't be easy!" She adds before passing her master and carries the duffle bag out to the living room. Alucard chuckles while shaking his head and follows his fledgling out into the living room. "I think this is all of the evidence. I've searched everywhere."

"Are you suggesting that we leave?" Alucard questions her. After placing the duffle bag on the coffee table, she then glances over at her master with a confused look on her face.

"I was. Why? What are you thinking we should do?" Seras asks. Her master arches a brow at her while he continues to grin. Suddenly, the little vampire jumps and her whole face turns a bright red. "Sex again?!" She exclaims, looking embarrassed but aroused. A look of surprise crosses over Alucard's face and he chuckles in amusement.

"While it's definitely an intriguing option, that is not what I was proposing." Her master responds.

"Oh," Seras struggles to hide her disappointment. The embarrassment fully consumes her as her face reddens more and she breaks their eye contact and looks down. "What were you proposing then?"

"We're here to collect Hallewelle who should be back any minute. Perhaps we should wait instead of returning to my master empty handed." Alucard responds.

"Well, we're not returning completely empty handed." The fledgling mutters as she gestures at the evidence she had collected and placed on the table. Before her master can say anything, Seras continues. "You know that I want to catch this guy, but we have no idea when this guy is coming home or if he's coming home tonight at all."

"You disappoint me, Police Girl." Hearing these words stings Seras. Disappointed in herself, the girl frowns. "We know that Hallewelle is still alive and our master has ordered us to bring him in. If my master wants it done, then I have no issue waiting. If I have no issue waiting, then neither should you, servant."

"Yes, Master." Seras whispers. "Sorry. It was…stupid of me to think we should just leave."

"Sit tight, Police Girl. It can be a while." Alucard tells her. With a disgusted look on her face, the Draculina looks around the gross flat not wanting to "sit tight" anywhere.

"Yes, Sir." She murmurs and stays glued to her spot. A silence falls between the two vampires. While one seems content enough standing there doing and saying nothing, the other is looking all around, feeling a little restless and uncomfortable. As Seras takes in her surroundings, her mind wanders. At first, she considers if she had missed any evidence and wonders how long it will take for Hallewelle to show up. But as soon as her eyes fall upon Alucard, her thoughts start to center around him. She studies him openly as he stares at the front door. It's unknown to her if he's incredibly focused or if he is also letting his mind wander like her.

"What?" Alucard speaks, causing his little fledgling to jump. He glances at her from the corner of his eye. "Why are you staring at me?" Blushing, Seras looks away from him.

"Sorry," She mutters. "I was just wondering…why…" Alucard watches her as he waits patiently for her to finish that thought. "Why do you want to be in…an intimate relationship with me? How are…you and…Sebastian…attracted to…me in…that way?" A small smile forms on the elder vampire's lips.

"I could ask you the same thing." Alucard snickers, earning a strange look from Seras.

"What?" She questions him.

"Why are you surprised that we're attracted to you?" The elder vampire asks, brushing over her question for now.

"Well, you're both…gorgeous and…older and…smarter." Seras tells him as if he doesn't know these things. "I honestly don't see you and Sebastian being the type to go after young, dumb blondes for the hell of it, so…that begs the question of…why are you both…attracted to me? What made you guys want to have sex with me?" Alucard sighs as he looks away from his Draculina to look back at the door.

"You'll definitely be disappointed to hear that I don't have an answer for you, Police Girl." He responds. "Yes, you are a beautiful girl. I'm sure you are sexually desirable to lots of men, but Michaelis and I aren't like that. We don't swoon over women and chase after them like starved dogs would a piece of meat. We do have sexual needs, but they come so rarely that we can go years without indulging in the pleasures of the flesh. It may sting to hear, but Michaelis and I were shocked when we realized we were attracted to you at all. You're beautiful, but not exactly our type."

"That's what I'm saying." Seras interjects with a small smile. "I know I'm not your type. So…what attracted you to me?"

"I'm not entirely sure." Alucard admits as he thinks about it. "You are definitely an interesting character. From the moment I met you, I could feel how…strong, fiery, and dark you were. But…you also have a kindness to you that astounds me. You're unique." Seras' smile widens from these compliments he was giving her. "You are young, and while you may not be on our level of intellect, I don't believe you to be dumb. I can still hold conversations with you, which makes you a decent enough companion in my eyes." Alucard finally looks back at Seras to study her for several seconds.

"But these are traits that make me like you as an individual. I don't know why I'm sexually attracted to you. The need to…have you is more on a primal level. It's something deep inside of me that drives me to want and fuck you." A dark look of hunger burns in his eyes. "I won't lie to you. I've fucked almost every person I had ever turned into a vampire, and I've never felt this. This intensity or this primal need for anyone." Seras' face flushes as she becomes trapped under his gaze. "Every bit of me wants you, even now, and I don't know if this feeling will ever perish. It's frustrating and exciting, and I don't have a definite answer of why I feel any of these things for you." Coldly, Alucard looks away from her. "But don't mistake any of these feelings for love, Police Girl. It's purely lust. All I want is to fuck you, nothing more."

"I know, Master." Seras whispers. "It's just sex nothing more." She recites, though he's unsure if that's for his benefit or hers.

"I am curious though. What attracted you to Michaelis and myself?" Alucard asks. He's still not looking in her direction and there's still an incredibly cold, but hungry look in his intense eyes. Seras swallows and drops her gaze to look at the floor and think about the question.

"It's like I said before. You're gorgeous, smart, and mature." The Draculina lists off. "I enjoy spending time with you and Sebastian. I enjoy talking to you both. I enjoy you guys teaching me things…about being a vampire that is, but the sex stuff is also fun." A look then crosses over Seras' face, one of realization and a bit of confusion. "Hmn," She hums and folds her arms over her chest. "It's weird. I've had…crushes on guys before." This instantly catches Alucard's attention and he quickly glances over at her. "Before you freak out, I mean I've been attracted to guys before." Seras corrects herself without looking at her master. "But I've never felt this way."

The little vampire then meets her master's gaze. She looks serious and focused while she explores the feelings inside of her. "Before meeting you and Sebastian, I never thought much of sex. It just didn't…interest me. But then, I met you guys and…" Seras shakes her head and drops her gaze once more. "I don't know. There was just an…intense feeling of need. I guess…similar to what you and Sebastian feel. Something deep, as if it was etched in my DNA."

"Primal? Animalistic?" Alucard asks with a slight grin on his lips.

"I guess." Seras whispers and looks back at him. "What do you think that's about?" The grin falls from her master's lips when she asks this. "None of us really showing a sexual interest in any one, us meeting, but barely knowing each other, and then having these such strong, almost uncontrollable, and unignorable needs rising inside of us? Is this…a common…" Before Seras can finish that thought, both vampires sense a presence in the hallway outside of the flat. Instinctively, both of them go silent and look at the front door.

Is it Hallewelle? The man we've been waiting for? The Draculina wonders. An anger bubbles back up inside of her and the look in her eyes darken with wrath. Her hands clench into tight fists as she prepares herself, hoping it's him. Damn it! I wish I had my rifle! Why didn't Master let me grab it before we left?! With their significant hearing, they heard footsteps coming down the hall closer towards Hallewelle's flat. Fidgeting in her spot, Seras glances at her master from the corner of her eye. What is he planning? Why isn't he getting out his gun? Hearing her thoughts, Alucard grins widely, looking amused by something.

You're a police girl. Her master's voice resonates in her head. Apprehend him.

What?! The Draculina exclaims in his head. They hear keys being pulled out of a pocket as Hallewelle nears closer.

He's almost upon us. Think quickly or he'll bolt. Alucard purposely builds up the anxiety in his fledgling. Panicking, Seras does the first thing she thinks of and grabs the gun from the duffle bag. Flicking the safety off, she then pulls back the hammer and points it at the door. Alucard suppresses a chuckle. What do you plan on doing with that? He's a chipped vampire. You need blessed silver bullets, which that gun does not have.

Yeah, but it'll still hurt like hell. Seras responds with a fierce look in her red eyes. The footsteps stop abruptly.

"What the…" Hallewelle mutters when seeing his front door open a crack. "Son of a bitch." He hisses. Slowly and cautiously, he pushes the door open. Light from the hallway pours into the flat. One of the first things the light hits is Seras. Standing in the hall, peeking through an opening in the door that's about a foot wide, is a dark brown haired man. He's wearing black jeans, a white t-shirt that's drenched in the blackmailer's blood, and a leather jacket. Seras opens her mouth to speak, but the second Hallewelle sees Alucard, he bolts.

"Shit!" The small blonde growls and she chases after Hallewelle before her master could order her to. By the time the fledgling exits the flat, Hallewelle is already at the end of the hall and racing down the stairs. "Stop!" Seras shouts and doesn't hesitate running after him. She pumps her legs and arms, running as fast as she can to try and catch up with him. As she runs down the stairs, she tries to take two steps at a time and occasionally jumps to skip over three or more steps. Tripping, she stumbles into a wall, but quickly recovers. Pushing off the wall, she heads down another flight of stairs. Reaching the lobby, she spots Hallewelle ramming his entire body at the exit and lunges out into the dark streets. He stumbles, but doesn't slow down any.

"Fuck!" Seras curses as she follows him outside. "Fucking stop!" She shouts, though she knows it's pointless. Her boots slam down on the sidewalk as she forces herself to run faster. She isn't too far behind him, but he's still too far to grab or tackle. Hallewelle is breathing hard and she can hear his heart pounding away. She could practically taste his fear, but knew that fear isn't for her, but for her master. How does he know Master? Did our target warn him about the Hellsing Organization?

Hallewelle sharply turns a corner and heads down an alleyway. As he goes, she can hear him flinging metal trash cans, hoping to slow her down in some way. Gasping, Seras nearly trips over one of the cans but manages to find her balance.

"Shit!" She hisses again and looks up to see how far the man she" pursuing is. At the other end of the alleyway, Seras spots a chained fence, though she can tell from the way he's not slowing down that he plans on jumping it. Something inside of Seras awakens; something fierce and dark. Animalistic. Her red eyes burn when realizing her prey is getting away. Instinctively, she grabs one of the seventy-five liter trash cans he had flung to slow her down and, with a deep snarl and using all of her might, Seras throws it at him. She hits her target beautifully. The can hits him directly on his back, causing a satisfying cry to sound from his lips. He then falls face first to the ground. But still, he tries to escape.

Without looking back at the approaching monster, Hallewelle climbs to his feet and attempts to run, but is stopped by a gunshot. The bullet hits him in his shoulder and he doubles over in pain as he grabs his bleeding shoulder. Finally, the punk turns to see how close the monster is. But instead of seeing who he thought had been chasing him, he sees an angry looking blonde coming down the alley with her gun pointed at him. Ignoring her, Hallewelle looks all around for the other vampire, but doesn't see Alucard anywhere. He breathes heavily. His body buzzing with fear and adrenaline while his mind is racing with thoughts and plans of escape. His eyes land back on the unintimidating girl.

The fledgling approaches him slowly, waiting to see how he will act. "Get face down on the ground and put your hands behind your back!" Seras instructs him, but Hallewelle just stares at her. After taking a moment to process the situation, he cracks a smile and laughs.

"You've got to be kidding me." He responds, earning a darker look from the Draculina.

"I'm not! Face down! Now!" Seras orders, but he doesn't budge. Something then flickers in his eyes and he pulls his head back as he studies her a little closer.

"You look familiar. You're not just Alucard's fledgling, are you?" Hallewelle asks her. Seras keeps a good distance, refusing to move until he does exactly as she instructed. "Have we met?" A sick smile crosses over his face and he waggles his eyebrows at her. "Have we fucked?" He's displeased when the girl gives him a look of pure disgust.

"Get down on the ground and place your arms behind you!" Seras repeats.

"You talk and act like a cop." Hallewelle notes while his eyes scan the rest of her. "I know that I know you, but I just can't place the face." Giving up on trying to remember who she is, all amusement leaves his eyes as he becomes deadly serious. As gently as he can without making the pain in his shoulder any worse, Hallewelle rises to his full height. Without hesitance, Seras shoots him in the knee. A guttural cry flows from Hallewelle's lips and he collapses to the ground. All that can be seen os blood pouring out of the bullet hole in his pants

"God damn cunt!" The man growls through gritted teeth. Too scared to touch or inspect his wound, he keeps both hands hovering over his blown out knee.

"I warned you to stay down." Seras responds in a cold tone as she approaches him cautiously. The look in her eyes is dark and full of such disgust and hatred. "Roll over onto your stomach and put your hands behind your back or I'm going to take out your other knee!"

"Fuck!" Hallewelle snarls when given this ultimatum. Angry, but obedient since he doesn't want to get shot again, the man slowly and carefully tries to roll over onto his stomach. The pain in his knee is excruciating and he has to bite deep into his bottom lip to keep from screaming, but he manages to do exactly what she wants and places his hands behind his back. Seras doesn't hesitate jumping on top of him. Pressing her knee to his lower back, she does her best to keep him pinned down as she puts his arms in a lock hold. For extra assurance that he'll behave himself, she presses the tip of the gun to the back of his head.

"Fuck you!" Hallewelle snarls angrily at her. "Maxwell is out of his fucking gourd for feeling sorry for the likes of you! You're nothing but a fucking cunt! You're just like your fucking master! A fucking dog for the Hellsing Organization!" Seras narrows her eyes at him.

"Maxwell?" She repeats. "Is that the name of your boss? The man who paid you to sell those children?" The tone of her voice gets darker and angrier, making it clear she's struggling to remain composed and not blow his head off. She digs the tip of the gun into his head, itching to pull the trigger even though she knows the regular bullet wouldn't kill him. "Talk. Tell me where I can find him."
