/A few blocks from Veiled Gardens/
"It seems everyone is getting their own celebrations ready for this little dance tonight." Kris says as he sees a few places closed down for family. He and Susie walk down the sidewalk as she rolls her eyes.

"Yeah so? Seriously how stupid are these fools." Susie says as glares at the few Monsters still about the area.

"Behave, it would do us no good to attract attention to us before the big night." Kris says as he sighs with a frown. He sees several Monsters smiling at their companions and families. 'Family…' He turns to look at Susie whom looks at him with a snarl.

"The fuck you looking at weirdo?! Want someone to eat your face off your skull or someone? Once we are done I will gladly do so." She says with a toothy dark smile. Kris shakes his head as the two of them continue on the path. "So what is the plan, we just go in attack 'em right?" She asks with a snarl as they turn down an alley as Kris sighs.

"I will make the first move, with my lack of anything to really feel as long as they are distracted we will kill one of them with ease. Our few reports seem to say they react differently depending on whom, Frisk supposively has no fighting capability, but Asriel has little sense when she is in danger. If one of them were to die, I would say Frisk would break and become a problem for us as a mindless raging type of foe, while Asriel will too rage, he will see only destruction against the initial attacker meaning the other will be able to finish him swiftly." Kris says as he looks up towards the sky.

"Heh, so we should kill the girl first then? Sounds fun, Hey! I wonder if you take her soul will it make you become a woman? Then it would be fitting for how you seem to be a moody bitch all the time!" Susie says with a snicker.

"It is going to rain tonight…" Kris says as he notices the clouds forming in the air.
/Somewhere on the mountain…/

The large fox Monster Egel walks up to a shrine with three candles burning with a pinkish flame barely moving as a large wind gust pushes past him and the shrine. Snow crunching under his steps as he comes close to the shrine as he kneels and begins to pray.

"Still visiting the shrine I see." A figure in a hood says as they come to walk up to the shrine before kneeling next to Egel.

"Indeed, I am surprise to see you here again. I figured after her death you didn't want to stay anywhere near humans like I have." Egel says as he stands back up. The figure says a small prayer before they stand up revealing to be 7'4" a bit taller than Egel with their hood still on.

"While it is true that I was… angry so many centuries ago. I never could forget that she would never let me live it down when I see her again if I hated the very race she sought to protect despite it was them whom took her life." The figure says as their voice echos in the wind. Their burnt orange furred hands reach up to pull a hood off themselves to reveal a feminine face with faded pink eyes. Their furred face similar to that of a wolf mixed with a rabbit's ears that revealed her height to be more of 6'10". Egel's own eyes widen at the sight of the cloudy eyes as he looks at them.

"By the dust, your eyes! What happened to you Cahciua?" He asks as she smiles before turning to face him.

"It happens when you decide to mess with the idea of breaking through to other timelines where you do not belong. I got to witness the many different painful things to my own family again and again for a while. Some blindness is only one of the many different punishments I have received." She says as she looks back towards the shrine. "While my sight is not what it once was, it is enough for me to get around. My other senses are still strong enough to guide me if I need to react to a situation." her eyes turn towards Egel as a slight smirk. "However I should be questioning you, I did not know you had a child. I felt her magic overflowing so joyfully when I passed by a place called Veiled Gardens on my way here."

"So you found out huh…" He says softly as she furrows her brow.

"Egel, what is the problem?" Cahciua asks as she turns to look at him as he stares at the ground.

"I don't have the right even call her my child for what I have done, I already feel your anger growing as I never once lived in her life. Her mother took care of-" Egel quickly found a kick to the face knocking him into the snow, he rolls onto his back as she growls.

"You damned fool! Your own isolation kept you from your child! I may not be a Monster by full birth, but even my child lived knowing the care of both parents till his father died four hundred years ago!" Her voice venomous as she glares her cloudy eyes at him. Egel lies there staring at the sky.

"I know." He says softly. Cahciua sighs before looking to the shrine.

"You need to be there for her. She may not know you or need you now… but you should be there if she ever does. Her soul, is she like a true born Sio'ta like I felt? Like I am?" Cahciua asks as Egel nods in the snow.

"Yes. Even more reason I feel regret for someone that was trusted to protect her had been lying and ruined her childhood as a median between her mother and the world, aside from Asgore, the only person to ever adopt a 'human' child was Caroline, the mother whom I turned Monster after was fatally wounded."

"Why would you do such… if her mother died-" Cahciua started as she was stepping towards him before the blurry face of his came clear enough for her to see the pain in his eyes. He knew the risks and knew how stupid he was, but she was already going to die… he tried to save her, not for himself, but for their child. "You need to fix this. What would Aunt Kaina say if she saw you right now?"

"She would likely beat me up till the inch of my life before rewinding time to do so again and again for a few days." He says as he sighs. Cahciua offers a hand to Egel whom takes it as she pulls him up onto his feet.

"I understand, this isn't only a visit is it Cahciua?" She shakes her head.

"No, I am returning for good… there is a young girl whom will need my help, and Ruby's if she will come out of the shadows. Her and your brother need to be assisting them… however, I felt a waver this morning when I woke. I figured Aunt Kaina had affected another, but now I see what she is doing. She is transferring what she can of her power to your daughter and one other that was near her. They will be a big target if anyone learns of what that means."

"The ability to undo events freely… Kaina always said those whom are determined will ordain the future. To think she meant literally." Egel says as he looks at the shrine. A candle flickers as one of three goes out.

"It begins, I should go. We will speak again uncle, and please let Ruby that I wish to speak to her and boyfriend soon." She says as she walks away as the wind picks up, Egel sighs as he looks to the shrine.

"Kaina, would you have done the same as me? Or would you have fought tooth and claw to be there…?" He asks softly as the wind picks up.

"Egel." A voice echos in the powerful gust. Egel's eyes widen as he looks up to see what he believes is a trick of the light, a smiling human woman with pink eyes staring him down in a teal dress.

"Kaina…" He says again as he blinks the figure is gone as the wind blows ever stronger against his face as his eyes stare at where the figure stood.

/Frisk and Asriel/

The two walk out of the resturant as Frisk leans against Asriel smiling softly.

"Thank you for giving me a bit of peace during all this Asriel, I hope we can do this again soon." Frisk says as Asriel nods.

"Sure thing Frisk, I can't wait to take you on another date once we have some calmness from all these events." Asriel says as the two wave to the black vehicle that drives up with Brax smiling at the two.

They climb into their ride to see Chara, Blake, Teina, and Fenor inside as the four look on in surprised.

"Damn, This is Frisk? Asriel if I didn't know better I would have assumed you swapped her out and had to kick your ass, but damn girl you look amazing!" Teina says as Blake nods with a smile.

"Indeed you look really good tonight Frisk, I am sure Toriel and Caroline will both love how your dress looks on you at the dance tonight." Blake says as Frisk smiles at them.

"Damn bro, mom really went all out to give you and Frisk the best outfits of the night, if I didn't know better if they announce a king/queen for the dance you two may win it." Chara says as Fenor nods.

"Indeed, You and Frisk have already a great dynamic of synergy that it makes you two prime choices for victors. Though, I was quite surprised to see Frisk wear something so fitting, I am quite used to her boyish style that it caught me off guard." Fenor says as Asriel nods, Frisk blushes as she glances at her dress.

"I-I still don't think I look all that good in dresses, but if you all think I do, I… wouldn't mind wearing a few more from time to time, t-though only if we get them from Threading Notes." Frisk says as she tries to fight the blush on her face. Asriel smiles at the thought.

"You know I could get used to seeing you in a dress more often. It definitely shows more of your aura than your usual outfits, or atleast more of the clothes you bought during that first week we met, you have been wearing your old clothes the most still." Asriel says as the group nods.

"Definitely, they suite you way too well in the clothing Asriel has gotten you, your usual hides your good features and makes you hard to really notice most of the time if we didn't spend so much time around you." Teina says as something clicked in Asriel's head.

'Wait, Hard to notice?' It took a moment, but when he first saw Frisk, he swore something about her made him want to ignore her. However since the incident with his near death and change… that hasn't been the case anymore. 'Wait is her old clothing Enchanted?!' His eyes widen in surprise and then slightly narrow in anger before a twinkie food snack hits his face as Chara was seen with his hand stretched out slightly.

"You look snackish bro, here have a twinkie." He says with a smirk, however as Asriel glares at Chara he notices the look in his eyes, Chara knew he got angry about something and just avoided a new conversation. Asriel chuckles.

"I guess I didn't really eat my fill today, my bad. I guess I was too into the talk me and Frisk was having." He says with a chuckle as his phone rings, pulling it out of his pocket he sees 'MT' on it as he goes to answer.

"No Need Darling, I hope you and Frisk had a great time on your date." Mettaton's voice echos out on speaker phone.

"Well talk about timing, we were on our way to the dance." Asriel says as notices the stares of disbelief from Teina and Fenor as Mettaton speaks again.

"Wonderful news! I finished up the lyrics and the music for the grand finale, I call it; Together Tonight. Give the music without lyrics a listen!" As if on queue an EDM/Emotional song started to play over the car speakers.

Frisk and Asriel find them stunned along side their company as Brax smiles up front. Frisk notices some lyrics on the screen of Asriel's phone.
"We're all one beneath the stars." She softly sings along with the tune,

"No walls, No lines, No scars." Asriel hums. As the two smiles at each other, before noticing everyone else was enjoying the beat of the music as it soon comes to an end.

"So you two, what do you think?" The robotic Monster asks.

"Its perfect, a great way to introduce a new day." Frisk says as the Face on the screen grins.

"Beautiful words to hear! I shall finalize it now and meet you and company there! By the way Toriel told me to let you; Frisk, know that your says she cannot wait to see you preform tonight, in addition to Asriel that Asgore will be there as well as he wishes to spend some time with Toriel on this night of new starts and to enjoy your night after the song." Mettaton says as the screen shows ended call screen.

"Damn I haven't seen Mettaton since their last concert at City Hall." Teina says as she smiles at her friends. "How did you get in contact with them?" Frisk looks to Asriel whom shrugged.

"Don't ask me, but lets just say that their request of us was definitely an interesting timed one at that." He says as Teina looks at him, Chara gives him a curious glance before shrugging. If he wasn't telling Teina and Fenor about it right now meant he didn't feel like the timing wasn't right to tell them. The group was soon arriving at the at the school, the group was climbing out as they look up towards the doors. Walking forwards Asriel pulls Frisk back for one more moment as he looks to her.

"Frisk, before we go in I want… you to promise me you won't do something that will get you hurt here. I don't think I could go through all this again with that scene twice over in my head." Asriel says as Frisk frowns.

"Asriel I-" His hands slip into hers and tighten slightly.

"Please." He says as he sighs. "Seeing you die in my arms like that, and with that similar moment potentially so close again, I just want to protect you. Remember we both agreed that in this moment in time we are glad to have each other here… to care for each other. However I cannot stand the thought of losing you again, even if it does become a distant memory, I will never be able to forget the look in your eyes when you saved me." He says Frisk stares into his eyes as she sees the pain in them before giving a gentle nod.

"I understand Asriel, I promise not to do anything to that will put me in any serious danger." She says getting a gentle smile as a response as he pulls her into a gentle hug. The two break and rejoin their friends, Gaster delivers the accessories again, and this time neither Asriel or Frisk put them on right away as they entered the gymnasium. The music overhead of the first song playing overhead, Chara walks off to find the snack stand as Teina, Jake, Fenor, and Penny all take off to enjoy the night leaving Blake with Frisk and Asriel.

"Asriel, Frisk. With what I understand going on today; you sure you want me to enjoy myself instead of keeping an eye on you two?" Blake asks as she glances at Asriel. "I owe you for this chance at this life I never had, for your family sheltering me when they had no true obligation except my mother's request for it. You accepted me, despite what I have done." Blake says as the couple smiles at her.

"Yes Blake, you deserve this night as much as anyone. This is the night that if all goes well we can wipe slates clean and start anew with hopes that things will only get better from here on out." Frisk says, Asriel nods as he looks out to the crowd spotting a few more older Monsters with partners about and watching them.

"We will be fine, I can see there is more people here this time that are capable in magic arts enough to act if they need to, so I think we will be fine tonight." Asriel says as he looks back at the girl in black. Blake nods before she smiles at the two.

"Then enjoy your night you two." Blake says walking away. Frisk smiles as she glances at the crowd as she pulls Asriel's arm as she walks towards the dance floor.

"Now that is done, we should dance some before our song comes up!" Frisk says as she pulls him onto the floor and begins to dance with him, with each step they were noticed as People slowly recognized Frisk in her new dress, eyes and mouths wide as the pair dance into the first song.

"You really are catching a lot of eyes tonight Frisk, It makes me Jealous that someone other than me has their eyes on you." Asriel says with a smile as Frisk smirks at him.

"I could say the same, I see how some of the girls are looking you everyday. I guess I am lucky that I got to meet you and get close to you first huh?" Frisk says as the goat chuckles, the beat comes to a slow as the song begins to change, moving from the floor they hear a voice call out to them, turning to see whom was approaching to see two of their classmates walking up a Cat and Wolf Monsters as Frisk realizes its Mat and Jax. Jax the Cat Monster was more on the masculine side as Mat was holding onto his arm, being a more feminine Wolf-Monster wearing a dress as the two smile at them.

"While I live and breath its Asriel and Frisk!" Mat says as he looks over Frisk. "Girl you look amazing! If I hadn't seen those golden eyes of yours' I would assumed Asriel found another partner for tonight!" Mat says as Jax smiles at Asriel.

"You two looked great out there on the dance floor, if we have to vote for best pair you are definitely gonna our vote." Jax says as he looks to Frisk. "I am surprised to see you in a dress Frisk, with how you always dressed I figured you hated them." He says as Frisk blushes.

"I… Never r-really had any dresses I liked… Toriel got this for me, and it is really comfortable." Both Jax and Mat smile at her. She still had some shyness towards others especially with the attention to her more fitting outfit.

"Glad to hear, Say when we got here I saw Mettaton walking around backstage. I couldn't hear much, but it sounded like we are getting a surprise performance." Mat says as he looks at Frisk. "And he mentioned you, Frisk. Any idea what is going on?" Frisk gives a gentle laugh as Asriel shakes his head with a sigh.

"Sorry, we can't tell ya. Wouldn't be much of a surprise if we told you what is going to happen now would it? I will say even we were caught off-guard by the proposal this morning." Jax sighs as he looks at Mat.

"Babe, we shouldn't press on it, I told you if the big MT is here themself then its likely a really big surprised." Jax says. Asriel and Frisk smile at their classmates as another song comes on. "Well lets get back to dancing, I want to see you move those hips and see that tail bounce." Jax says as he pulls Mat closer only for the wolf to blush as he mews softly.

"If you wanna see my tail bounce so badly all you need to do is take me home to night you know…" Mat says as he sticks his tongue out slightly causing Jax to blush in return.

"M-Mat!" Jax says as Frisk and Asriel gives a slight embarrassed chuckle, Frisk however couldn't help but to imagine the feminine male being undressed by his partner as her own blush forms gently. The two then walk off as Asriel gives a soft chuckle.

"Talk about being free-spirited those two. I don't even think the punishements Linda tried to perform on them ever worked. Stupid homophobic, racist teacher…" Asriel says as he looks at Frisk.

"I wish she would just give everyone a chance, she might see some good in everyone… or atleast see their happiness." Frisk says as the two begin to walk towards the refreshment table. Asriel nods in agreement as they see Blake and Chara talking by the drinks as they walk up.

"And then Frisk pushed the prick off me, and all I saw next was red, I saw her getting hit and hurt for trying to stand up for me and I just lost it. Honestly Frisk has been nicer to me despite the rudeness I gave… the least I can do is try to be a good brother and friend right?" The two hear Chara says as Blake nods.

"Agreed. I had expected death or perhaps imprisonment for my involvement… but I am thankful Frisk convinced them to give me a second chance, and for Asriel giving me a chance to do the right thing." Blake says not realizing the aforementioned pair behind her. Chara smirks as he leans against the table looking at the pair.

"Well I am glad you got a second chance to live a proper life Blake." Frisk says causing the black haired hybrid to turn with a blush on her face as her purple eyes widen.

"H-How long were you two there?!" She asks surprised to see them.

"We got here just as Chara finished up his story and you spoke how thankful you were. Sorry bout that Blake." Asriel says as he gives a soft snicker. Blake shakes her head.

"No its fine, I am just thankful… though it reminds me of something I need to speak with you and Toriel about, Despite my… nature. Gaster said yesterday it would be unlikely for me to ever use magic like Frisk is able due to how my magic was treated for so long." Blake says as she frowns. "If I had access to magic like you two…"

"You likely wouldn't be beside us now, your previous 'associates' would have used you to make more and brain wash them to be soldiers." Chara says as he sighs. "Face it, humans shouldn't ever have access to magic like Frisk does, they are too greedy, even I am proof of that. Even now after all these years Humans still act like the superior race when father has to talk with those political figures of theirs." He says getting them to nod, Humans have been that, despite the war with Monsters being so far over they have never stopped the occasional criminal from being a problem.

"Agreed." Blake says before smiling gently. "So you two ready for the next song in a few minutes?" Blake asks as the two realize the previous song had already ended as a voice echos over the speakers.

"Boys and Girls, Monster and Human, Tonight we have a special guest some may have notice! The one. The only! Mettaton!" A new voice echos as another comes over.

"Hello darlings! So many beautiful souls are here tonight for this wonderful day!" Mettaton says as they step onto the stage, standing tall with a greyish silver body with black and purple sections as they look like a pop-star as the stand in front of everyone. Frisk and Asriel begin to make their way closer to the stage as they take a deep breath. "I must say this is such a wonderful sigh to see. So many Humans and Monsters stand side-by-side today. And before I start our special song dedicated to this moment I would like to speak for a moment." They say as they see Frisk and Asriel, a smile grows as they look to the crowd.

"It was quite some time ago when Humans and Monsters had fought each other in a very dark war, not many of us Monsters remember those days as many have come and gone over the years, new generations have come and old have laid to rest. I was one of the few that recall those days, as some may know I am not your typical Monster as I am a Ghost inside this robotic body. During those years I was young and had very little information on Humans, but I knew one thing; I wanted to be someone everyone looked at, I wanted to be someone everyone saw as not a creature, or a Monster, but a person people looked up to following in their footsteps. I loved music, I loved the idea of being an idol and a popstar for everyone, Human or Monster." Mettaton says as they look out to the crowd.

"Well, I have gotten to see that dream come true. I have met aspiring singers, dancers, and even musicians. Each one has gone far in their lives and touched more people than I can imagine. So I want to remind you all that tonight is about that as well, we are to set our goals and aim true. I see future doctors, engineers, technicians and more. Some people will make the best food for everyone around them, while others will save lives in many ways. Its a beauty that is hard to see, but is such a bright moment." They say as they look to the crowd.

"Now Its time for a song to remember; Together Tonight let us dance in this moment." Mettaton says as Frisk and Asriel step up onto the stage, Mettaton provides them two microphones as music begins to come over the speakers, a Monitor at the base of the stage shows the lyrics for the two as it picks up.

Asriel

"Underneath the starlit sky,"
"We're all just here to live, to fly,"
"No need to hide, no need to fight,"
"We shine together, side by side."

Asriel's words echo as he and Frisk begin to move to the beat, the crowd silent with awe at they gather close, someone begins to move to the beat on the dance floor as they feel the rhythm flow into the crowd.

Frisk

"Different faces, different ways,"
"But we're all dancing through the days,"
"No need to fear what makes us stand,"
"In the end, we're all hand in hand."

Frisk sings out with joy as she spots her friends Fenor and Teina dancing with their partners that smiles at her when they can, Frisk feels a swell in her chest as she looks towards Asriel, whom smiles at her from the corner of his eyes as the two begin to look towards each other dancing close to each other.

Frisk and Asriel sing as they move along to the rhythm, not seeing the seething eyes deep in the back of everyone. People begin to clap and following the words spoken as Humans and Monsters dance side by side, a pair of proud blue eyes in the darkness as a pair of dull yellow watch with pain and pride watch from the side and on the other side a pair of brown and forest green eyes stare with their own pride as well.

The two take a breath as music plays behind them, further back a purple scaled Monster snarls as her companion frowns under his cloaked hood, a soft thunder can be heard over the music as the figure looks up.

"Its raining as I expected… it seems we were noticed somehow. I guess we have to choose to risk it with this moment or try again later." The brown hair under the hood as the hooded monster next to him with her yellow eyes glaring out of her own hood.

"I am going to enjoy ripping me some limbs off tonight. Lets take them out at the climax of the song, the mayhem will be...delicious." She says, the boy knew she was furious, knew she was a destructive force, knew that… this plan was going to fail, he had to make a call either stay or go.

Asriel
"We've got stories to tell,"

Frisk

Frisk and Asriel come to a quieting close as they are stuck looking into their own eyes as the crowd begins to clap and cheer, Both of them panting slightly from their singing as Kris begins to turn his back.

"We are leaving, the plan has changed too severely, we attack now we may not get out alive." He says softly to his partner, Susie growls softly as she turns to him to see him staring at the floor with annoyance, He wasn't pleased either, however that was their goal to get in and out. She sighs and grunts before following him towards the doors at the far side
The two smiling as they take in this moment as the crowd is going wild with their cheer, meanwhile a pair of cloudy-dull pink eyes come into the room past them smiling she glances towards them.

"You two made a smart choice, you could have gotten hurt." She says getting them to stop, Susie grips her axe under her cloak as the wolf/rabbit Monster sighs. "Remember just cause your origins are different doesn't mean you have to live the way your masters wish." She says before resuming her walk towards a pair of dull yellows eyes, leaving the two to leave unhindered.

"I am surprised you came here." Egel says as he looks at Cahciua whom smiles into the crowd.

"What can I say, the magic started to flow with the music, I couldn't not stop by. Plus, I wish to see how it plays out…" She says getting a worried expression from Egel.

"How what will play out?" He asks as she looks at Frisk and Asriel.

"Soon, it shall manifest in the boy, I feel Aunt's magic starting to meld with his, and through him it will manifest in the your daughter. How did Aunt unlock her ability again?" She asks as Egel's eyes widen the world slowed as he looked at her and the eyes darting around the room towards Caroline before he made a quick move to rush towards her. This was not good… The first sign nearly killed Kaina.

"Caroline!" Egel says as he rushes up to Frisk's mother as she turns she sees his face. "You need to get Frisk and Asriel off the stage now, and likely prepare to get them transported to..." Caroline gave Egel a strange look as she goes to speak. A scream of pain and agony as Asriel is seen falling to ghe ground, Frisk screams his name as he squirms and spasms on the ground. Caroline takes off shortly after to check on them with Egel in suit behind her.

"Lies, we've told so many lies…" "We are a liar..."

"She will hate us when she finds out…" "We are not the same..."

"Killer, that is what we truly are… we kill and we do as we are told." "We killed, Humans…"

"No, We love her, we would do anything for her!" "We killed, Monsters..."

"Even if father said she needed to be killed one day?" "We..."

"B-But he'd never do that…" "We… Want…"

"He'd do what he has to, to protect the family." "To try again."

Asriel groans as he finds himself on the ground of void-like landscape with shards of glass like fragments floating in the air, next to him however was a seemingly normal looking glass wall, however it seemed to reach into the beyond into the sky and not concluding the wall of it seeming being a barrier for another voidscape as it was black as night, but similar glimmering fragments floating in the void.

"What is this place?" He asks aloud hearing his voice echo aloud. Turning back to his side of the land he walks towards a shard that catches his eye, something felt… familiar about it… He reaches out and barely touches the shard as his vision flashes bright.

The snapping of a pair of fingers brings Asriel back to his senses as he sees a familiar Monster, Brax wearing his suit and holding a handgun in hand.

"Get your head in the moment Asriel, This is the last one before boss has you take a break from this work." Brax says as Asriel nods.

"Yeah, right. Sorry I just don't see the point you guys wanna bench me. Havn't I proved that I can handle this work now?" He says as he gives a scoff, Mentally Asriel's eyes widen.'Wait! I remember now this… was when I shut myself out from my friends cause Teina got hurt by a rival family at the time for being seen with me… from the age of ten to fourteen… why is there such a large gap of my memory...'

"Its for your own good Asriel, Teina is fine now, it was minor and the family has taken its pound of flesh for the attempt, hell you even got to do it that day. You just didn't have enough almost it seemed. So yeah, for your mental health your getting benched! Your going to be fifteen in three months Asriel, its time to get your education and maybe by the time your education is done we won't need to have this stupid lifestyle anymore." Brax says as he sighs. "Don't think your not the only one getting benched though brat, I gotta watch over you apparently. So after today I am the new butler of your family." Brax says as he smirks at Asriel whom flips him off.

"Ah great now I have to deal with your shit daily." Asriel responds with a smile as the two walk up the door of their target. "So target is two humans correct? Any expected visitors?" Asriel asks as he pulls a larger handgun from his hip a deep black firearm with a simple yet pleasing design, an imprint of a typing on it indicated its normal muntion .45 cal. Then a very apparent custom modification with a moon-like orb embedded into the grip.

"Just the two. So it should be simple. They shouldn't even be armed." Brax says as Asriel groans.

"Of fuckin course it'd be an unarmed mission for my final. Fuck you boss!" Asriel snarls as he and Brax look to the door, then each other with a nod they spin counter each other before double kicking the door in having it smash into the room.

'DON'T GO IN THERE! PLEASE DUST DON'T DO IT!' His voice screams at himself to no avail.

Asriel walks into the room with Brax right behind him as his eyes set on the scene before him. This place was more than they knew… more than they wished to see. There was more than two Humans, There was six Human males, two of which appeared to be barely of age, Four Monster males along side them all the males at various places in the room. Three Human females, tied up and drugged to the point of almost overdosed, Five Monsters, three females and two males, tied, drugged, and just like with the female humans… used. The offenders are frozen in fear as they were caught. Brax was reining his as he told everyone to the corner, he glanced to Asriel for a second to see him barely holding on when…

A reach for the gun… Asriel reacted as stopped it… but he couldn't stop himself.
He lifts the first human whom reached for the gun of Brax when he wasn't paying attention by the man's arm Asriel's lifeless stare looks the man dead in the eyes as the Human stares in fear Asriel lifts his handgun up and the crystal glows as Brax's eyes widen.

Bang. Thud. Asriel coated in blood as he looks the others as his handgun raises. Brax screams out to no avail as the room was filled several pops from the firearm as he kills each one, the Monsters turn to dust in seconds as the humans bleed and lie in the floor. Asriel looks to handgun and then the tied up victims. Brax saw this as he looks to Asriel.

"Asriel stop! We can get them help, maybe save their lives-"

"What life is there left, when you will always feel this vunerable for now on. This trauma will never leave. Mercy is the best choice." Asriel says as he lifts his gun up to the first victim, a human female whom was awake… her eyes void of emotion, but looking further he looked. The more he saw… 'Please… end this pain.' He kneels down and looks her in the eyes. "Tell me, I can end it now. Painlessly, warmth and peacefully, blink to show me you can understand me…" He says as the girl slowly blinks after he says it.

"So I can save you, take you safe and give you a chance… maybe. Your under a lot of drugs I see, it is painful isn't it?" Blink. "Would you like me to save you?" Blink… blink. "Is it that bad? Have they had you for long? A month?" Blink Blink. " More?" Blink. "A year?" Blink Blink. " more…?" Blink. Asriel felt the disgust. "Then are you sure this is the end you want from me? To go peacefully?" Blink. "Then rest well." Asriel says as he stands, the girl closes her eyes, a small smile grows on her face. Brax was in horror, but he couldn't act now. Hes proved his point, he saw that there was nothing he could do… but be here to protect him. After another half hour, getting the Monster's next of kin learned so they could do a proper farewell, family matters over everything.

Asriel was covered in dust, blood, and sweat. His arm heavy as he saw the flashes of Monsters, Humans, foe, and victims. All slaughtered by him. He felt his stomach hurling up as he found a spot to lose his lunch and shortly pass out…

'I wouldn't then remember what happened and everyone just chose to not bring it up, I resumed normal day to day… but everything with his work for his dad was hazy, now its clear to me… That is when I became who I am now… everyone who knew what trauma I went through did their best to make sure… I was happy. They… No now is not the time for that.' He thinks as he finds himself before the shard that now held his lifeless stare of 'Mercy' he didn't enjoy that.

"Why did I remember that now though?" Asriel asks himself softly as he looks around as he sees another shard that catches his attention… this one felt lighter? He reaches out as a soft chill surround him as he feels Frisk brushing up next to him by a fireplace in her winter gear. They were traveling the mountain ruins on the surface and were taking a break for the night. With his knowledge he felt he should figure out how to know how hes gonna have to tell her his past so he can invite her to the family as father asked. They look to the sky to see stars everwhere as they stare up into the sky. Asriel made a small hum before he looks at her a smile.

"So, I got a question for you; You know those old horror flicks where the bad guy leads a double life? How do you think their partners would feel if they got told the truth by the badguy?" Asriel asks as she smirks questionably at him before shrugging.

"That is an interesting question, you watching horror flicks again then huh?" She says as Asriel metally realizes whats going on as he sees how much older Frisk is. 'T-This is a fragment of the future? O-or… could this be further than that… thats not good.'

"Don't ignore the question, and I will tell you after!" Asriel says as he turns his snout in a pout, a snort from Frisk as she shakes her head.

"Well." She turns to face the stars. "If it were me… I would feel hurt. But are they the same for it now? Are they going to stop? Did they stop? But if they had lied to hide it from me… Reason is one thing, betrayal and false words will never be acceptable." Frisk say as she stares into the sky. "Though I already know that tale, what made you curious to hear that…" She saw his phone resting with a recording light as he smirks.

"And you missed the opportunity to notice and join the train on FipFop! With 'Maybe if he got a big dick tho-" Snowball to the face before Asriel starts to laughs and Frisk berates him before joining in with her own laugh the two then settle in for the night. Asriel however found himself pulled free as he looks around. 'She would be right though. Betrayal with lies. How could you trust that again?' Asriel sighs as he walks away from the shard making it way around the area again when he spots yet another eye catching fragment, but this one was different… it looked like an intact mirror as he got close he could see inside a view of him.

"You called for me father?" His reflection asks as he could be seen looking at Asgore whom sighs.

"We have reached an a critical point for our goals Asriel, however it seems we must continue to make sacrifices to save everyone." Asgore says as he looks at Asriel. "How much are you willing to sacrifice for the better of everyone?"

"Is that really a question? I would do anything I have to…" Asriel says as Asgore's eyes steel at him.

"Even if it involves Frisk?" Asriel flinches as he looks at his father.

"What exactly are you needing of me father?" Asriel asks as the real Asriel felt worry and dispair in his chest. 'H-He wouldn't…'

"We need Frisk's soul. I need you to kill, and claim her soul for us." Time seem to stop as the real Asriel felt rage flare inside him. 'No! I REFUSE I-' His rage flares further as he swings his right hand at the mirror shattering a large whole whole into it as it floats there as he pants. He looks to his hand covered in blood and shards as he looks up to see the hole and the scene in the shards impossible to see now. He steps back and finds his back against the glass wall as he slides down it and stares at his hand.

"I…" He lied to her. He lied to himself. His own mind cracked back then and he became whom he was now… Now both sides are here and he… didn't like it. His bloody hand covers his face as emotions build and this helpless feeling of being lost grows. It had been seeping through when he took control of this situation this morning, he felt just like he did when his friend Teina got attacked all those years ago, just like when he shut the world off to become stronger.

"It sucks don't it?" A voice says as he looks up confused to see another version of him standing at his feet, younger and smaller as he kneels down to eye level with the sitting Asriel.

"W-Who are you, why do you look like me?" Asriel asks as the smaller version smiles gently.

"Well… I AM you, a fragment of you that you conjured up here." He says as the child version looks up at the shards. "Everything right now sucks, First we lied to Frisk about our past, then we proceed to start doing jobs under lies to her for our father, we murdered Humans and Monsters, and you've realized that we have no chance to have Frisk forgive us for being the exact thing that could hurt her trust. What can we do?" He says as he sighs. "It ain't an easy answer… but sadly we don't have an answer, not this time. Only you and Frisk can come to an answer like that." He says as the older Asriel stares at the ground.

"How could I ever see an outcome where I don't screw up now? Hell I don't even remember what happened and how I got here." Asriel says.

"Well, the reason we are here now is cause your dying." The younger says as the true Asriel's head snaps up. "Your heart is flat lining and your brain is struggling for oxygen, followed up with both of your lungs have collapsed and your other internals are having a field day of trying to run on bare minimum." The younger says as he stands up again. He steps past a fragment before changing into another person. A woman whom he never seen before.

"And well, that would be my fault." She says as she speaks. "Unfortunately our time here is up, we will have to speak next time Asriel. It is time to choose." She says again as a black shadow-like lantern rises up in her shadow before Asriel.

"Is it time for you to die or you plan on trying again?"

Meanwhile in the realworld.

Frisk was holding Asriel's hand as Gaster, Toriel, and Alphys were overhead one trying to keep his heart going with magic, another trying to repair his lungs as the final was trying to keep his brain from dying.

"Alphys, forgo trying to get both, even one lung is enough to save his life. Toriel, keep up the work with his heart." Gaster says as several hands as Frisk was channeling her own magic into his body. It was the only saving grace hes survived this long as they have been trying to repair everything going sideways for the past six hours, her eyes heavy as the heart monitor kept beeping slowly.

Things were only getting worse however as Toriel suddenly feel to her knees low on magic as everyone saw her trying to stand back up as Frisk was struggling to keep her magic going.

"I… I can't keep up anymore." Frisk says as she looks at them, Beeping slowing down further. Gaster's hands tried to resume increasing Asriel's heartrate as Frisk looks at him. "P-Please Asriel… don't give up." She asks weakly as the sound fills the room as the beeping became a steady sound, Gaster's hands stop as does Alphys, Toriel's knees gave once again in that short span of trying to stand up. "A-Asriel…?"

"I… am sorry." Gaster says as his hands slowly move from the unmoving body, Asriel's form still and unmoving. His chest still as Frisk's eyes tear up.

"N-No… A-Asriel please…"

"Asriel Dreemurr, is gone." A voice says as two voices cry out.
