Chapter 1

With Jaune

It was a couple of weeks after everyone found out about what Jaune's father had done to him and why. He was carrying a couple of briefcases with him and went to his room. He knocked on Team RWBY's door after putting the cases down.

Ruby opened it and saw him. "Hey, Jaune." She said, "What's up?"

"Gotta present for you, come over." He said so she walked over to his room. He was looking at the cases, one of which was longer than the other. The shorter one was black with a red rose on it. (Think a 'Money in the Bank' like briefcase if Ruby won it.) "That's yours." Ruby was shocked, "Go ahead, open it." So she does, and inside, lying down on plush black satin, was a mace painted red and black. "Meet 'Thunderstrike', little something I came up with for ya. In case you were to lose Crescent Rose."

She looked at the beautiful weapon and gently picked it up. It was heavy, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. She looked at Jaun, with tears in her eyes. Jaune just stood there, arms open. She ran into them and cried into his chest. "Thank you, Jaune," she cried.

"You are welcome, Rubes," he said. She pulled off and looked at the other case, "What's in that one?" He opened the black and gold case a pulled out a gold and black gauntlet, which went to his left elbow, had 6 gems in it, and a black fingerless glove in it. He took it out and put it on. "Whoa."

"I call it 'the Gauntlet'." Ruby was looking at the fist. "I am also making armor for myself. It might be a little tight, though."

"Where are you getting this metal?" She asked, and Jaune just grinned.

"I was going to take all of you with me to where we came from." He said, "Maybe this weekend." So they made plans to get together and head out to where the Arc clan was originally from.

(Two hours later)

"Yeah, so I'm going to take them with me to Terra." He said on his scroll.

[Do you think this is a good idea?]

"Sure, I want them to see where we came from."

[Alright, just be careful.]

"We will love you. Mom."

[Love you too, Sweetie.] So he hung up and went to talk to some of the others to see if they wanted to go with him. Pyrrha came into the room and saw Jaune. She pounced on him and grabbed him in a hug.

"Okay, I'm glad you glomped me, we need to talk."

'Did I do something wrong?' She thought worriedly.

"I'm going on a trip."

'No! How long is he going to be gone?'

"Since where I'm going, time runs differently, we're going to be gone for a year." She didn't hear 'we're'.

'A YEAR? Did I hear him right?' "A Year?" She asked.

"Yeah, and I want you to come with."

'What?' "You want me to come with you?"

"Yeah, the entire team and team RWBY. Don't worry, you'll get some alone time with me." He said, "so would you like to go?" Pyrrha nodded quickly, "okay. Get packed, we leave after classes tomorrow." So she went to get packed and he went over to talk to CFVY.

(CFVY's room)

Jaune knocked on the door, and Coco answered it. "Oh hey Jaune," she said.

"Hey, I was wondering. We're going on a trip, wanna come?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Okay, we're leaving after classes tomorrow."

"Then we should pack."

"Yeah, see ya after class." He said, and he went to RWBY's room.

(RWBY's room)

He knocked on the door, Ruby answered it. "Jaune," she said.

"You tell others about our trip?" Yang overheard what he said and looked over.

"Trip?" She said.

"Yeah, Ruby was supposed to tell you all about it." Her teammates looked at her, Weiss had looked at Jaune.

"What time are we leaving?" She asked.

"After class."

"Okay," said Blake. "We'll be ready."

"Cool, see you then." With that, Jaune left for his room.

(Next day, after class)

Jaune had just gotten done visiting Ozpin and told him what was going on. He got permission to go, and everyone got ready to go. "Okay, let's go." He said, so he got everyone who was going and opened a portal to where they were going. "Hold onto your butts!" So they went into the portal.

(Blizzard Earth: Present)

Teams RWBY, JNPR and CFVY had appeared on a huge field. "Where are we?" Asked Blake, Jaune looked around and smiled.

"Come on," he said, and they followed him. They walked until they came upon a huge manor. "Ah, home sweet home." They looked at him.

"HOME?"

"Yeah, I'll explain when we get in." So they headed for the door and Jaune opened it up. If the outside was impressive, the inside was epic. "HELLO?" Just then a woman had walked in and saw Jaune.

"Jaune!" She said, she was dressed in a white business suit, had blond hair and grey eyes. She went over and hugged him. "How are you?"

"I'm fine, guys, this is Gina. She's my decorator, these are my friends, and," he looked at Pyrrha. "What are we?" She blushed at him.

"What would you like us to be?" He shocked her.

"I don't know, significant others, lovers, affianced, married. Take your pick." She gasped, they all gasped. They thought he was clueless about how she felt about him. "I'm not that much of an idiot." Just then, he was smacked on the back of the head.

"STOP IT!" Screamed Velvet, they looked at her. She had tears in her eyes, then she grabbed him in a tight hug. "You Are Not Stupid!" He hugged her back, stroking her back. All of them had seen Jaune as someone close to them and holding their hearts, even the guys.

"Vel's right, J," said Yang. "You mean too much to us. Enough of the badmouthing yourself." She pats his shoulder. He sighed and lowered his head. Then he lifted it back up with a smile.

"I'm sorry, guys," he said. So he explained to Gina why they were there.

"Oh, alright well. I have to get back to work." She kissed him on the cheek, "your blond friend is right. I never want to hear you bad talk yourself ever again." Jaune nodded and she kissed him again then took off.

"Okay, let's get to the metalworks." So they got into a van and took off for a huge building. 'Arc Metalworks'. "Here we are," they got out and started to look around.

"WOW," said Ruby and Nora.

"This is where I got metal for the weapons." He said. They walked over to a part of the building where he makes weapons. "This is where I make them."

"Can we use this?" Asked Ruby.

"Yeah, you see, time runs fast here. A year here is a week on Remnant."

"A WEEK?" They said shocked.

"Um hmm, so we have all the time in the world."
