Chapter 15: The Return of Lord Zarkiar

At the chill of the warm, summer night in Siberia at the Dark Palace, as soon as half of the members of Lord Zarkiar's army that were defeated by the allies got healed from their injuries, Zarkiar prepares to step out of the shadows, and has since prepared his training course for his army...prepared for the next day that would come where he would train his army and then send them out to defeat his old arch nemesis, Mario the Sonic Push, Twilight Sparkle and their allies.
Akio Yusa/Lord Zarkiar takes his mask off for a second to get some air outside. He steps outside in the night wind. His bowl styled black hair, an eyepatch on his left eye, and a visible scar on his cheek is fully shown, along with a cruel, vicious, smile on his face.
"Finally. I can't wait for the day where I will conquer everything. We'll make sure they ALL OBEY ME!" said Lord Zarkiar, all excited as he can't wait to kick some butt against the allies.
He takes in a nice, deep breath, breathing in the cool, fresh, night air.
After some time, he puts his mask back on, and heads back over into his Dark Palace.
Commander Rengo then looks at his old boss. Commander Rengo is a hippopotamus and the commander in charge of Lord Zarkiar's army
"Um. Boss. Is there anything I can get for you? Like a drink of water or something?" asked Commander Rengo.
"No! I'm good. I am going to bed..." said Lord Zarkiar.
He then goes back to his evil bed, takes a melatonin, and falls asleep.
The next day.

Lord Zarkiar wakes up and turns the remote on to watch TV. He then turns it on only to see Mario the Sonic Plush's new game/variety show is finally airing on TV. It's called "Challenge of the Hedge".
"Hello. I am Mario the Sonic Plush and welcome to a new episode of Challenge of the Hedge..."
"Bla, bla, bla. Oh great. My own enemy is getting a stupid game show?! UGH!" yelled Lord Zarkiar.
He turns the TV off out of anger.
He then stomps his feet across the main room, as he shuts his bedroom door.
"Alright! All of my army. Let's begin training!" instructed Lord Zarkiar.
"Right." Said all of the members of Lord Zarkiar's army.
They all march out of the Dark Palace, with Lord Zarkiar leading the way out.
Lord Zarkiar begins his training course out in the sun, right on the field in front of the Dark Palace.
(Time skip)
Lord Zarkiar's army has completed their training. It was all thanks to his ruthless training methods that his army completed quicker.
"Alright, now. Let's get to Equestria! The allies are there, and we shall confront them soon enough. Do I make myself clear?" said Lord Zarkiar.
"Yes, Lord Zarkiar!" said all members of Zarkiar's army.
Lord Zarkiar's expression on his face turns into an evil, cruel, tyrannical and sadistic grin.
"Good….now, Commander Rengo, you shall lead the army there, while I will be right beside you. This will be a success." said Lord Zarkiar.
"Yeah. Now, let's all march to the fields of Equestria!" instructed Commander Rengo.
Every single member of Lord Zarkiar's army follows Commander Rengo to Equestria. Lord Zarkiar follows all of his army and his commander there.
Suddenly, the portal to Equestria opens.
"Now this will be my chance! This time, I will succeed while you shall fail miserably, Twilight Sparkle and Mario the Sonic Plush." gloated Lord Zarkiar.
He laughs and cackles in such a sinister way as he and his army step forward into the portal to Equestria.
Mario's POV
A lot of stuff had gone down since the whole Discord training/fight thing.
For starters, it turns out, the injury that Discord got from me kicking his sorry butt was so serious that he had to be sent to the hospital for 2 days. He was treated and eventually recovered. He didn't die because he is immortal, duh! Fluttershy yelled at me while at the hospital, with tears streaming down from her eyes, saying that Discord didn't deserve what happened to him. I told her that Discord got karma for bullying me, and being such a hypocrite.
But whatever, Discord is better now.
As for Trixie, my cousin, she left to focus more on magic. Traveling around, doing magic shows for the ponies in Equestria, which is great. Great for her. She might come and help us though, who knows what lies ahead.
I actually did become a game/variety show host during that time period when I was training like Goku from Dragon Ball Z for the next big threat. I did my first three episodes of Challenge of the Hedge under my agent, Raze. I never really saw Raze's true face, as he is always in the shadows (he currently prefers to remain anonymous), but he seems to be a pretty nice guy.
NBC wanted to interview me, and potentially offer me a job. I was like, sure, alright. They saw the first three episodes at the interview and they loved them. So, they offered it to be on television and air it as a part of an actual show on their channel. I was sold on the idea, so yeah, the episodes are airing on TV right now. Pretty awesome.
But enough about that.
I am sensing some kind of power...and it feels very awful, yet so familiar. It can't be what I am thinking, right?
"Oh god...I think it is Lord Zarkiar." I said.
"But how-didn't we permanently defeat Lord Zarkiar a while ago? Why is he just now surfacing again?" asked Rarity, who was all confused.
"There have actually been two individuals who took on the mantle of Lord Zarkiar. The original one was Akio Yusa, the other was Anti-Mario. I don't know how Anti-Mario even became Zarkiar but whatever. Point is, I think Lord Zarkiar is coming here. Again." I said.
"Oh. Right." said Applejack.
"That certainly explains a lot," said Twilight.
"Yes it does." I said.
Suddenly, we all see a floating shadowy figure. I have this dreadful sense of disgust already running through my veins.
"Foolish kid. You can never defeat me!" said the figure, revealing himself to be Lord Zarkiar.
"Lord Zarkiar! I should have known it was you." said Umbrage Flynn. You can hear a subtle hint of disgust in his voice.
"How pitiful of you….you should have greeted me with much more respect." said Lord Zarkiar.
Atirik then quickly transforms into his physical form.
"Get out of here, you LUNATIC!" yelled Atirik, as he shocks Lord Zarkiar with his bolt that almost would have killed him.
Somehow, Lord Zarkiar is immune to it and survives.
"Hahahaha! Is that the best you got, PHARAOH HEAD? You are going to have to try much harder if you want to stop me!" said Lord Zarkiar.
Lord Zarkiar then shoots out red hot fire from his mouth.
"HOLY CRAPBASKETS! When in the living hell did he learn how to DO THAT?!" exclaimed Eliza, in shock while she asked that question.
"I have no idea." said Pinkie Pie.
"Alright, get a load of this, ZARKIAR!" yelled out Umbrage Flynn.
Umbrage Flynn attacks Lord Zarkiar with ONE punch. He then kicks him in the groin and tries to slash him with his sword.
Lord Zarkiar's mask almost cracks. Unfortunately for us, Lord Zarkiar's mask comes back on automatically and his wounds become barely even noticeable.
He laughs in a sadistic manner. "Do you honestly think these childish antics will be able to stop ME?!"
"In your dreams, Zarkiar!" I yelled out.
"How foolish. You think you can destroy us, prince?! Well, think again! Come forth, my minions! My army! Take them out!" said Lord Zarkiar.

(NO POV)
Suddenly, Lord Zarkiar's newly trained army division is shown. Commander Rengo charges at Mario the Sonic Plush.
"Let's destroy him, and take over, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" yelled Commander Rengo.
"All hail Lord Zarkiar! All hail Lord Zarkiar!" Lord Zarkiar's army shouted.
The army charges at Mario the Sonic Plush and attacks him. MTSP gets knocked down.
MTSP struggles to get up. He and Lord Zarkiar glare at each other.
"I just want to know….we have been at it, fighting with each other since I was 6 years old. Why exactly do you want to defeat me and have your hostile takeover?" asked Mario the Sonic Plush.
"Let's just say, I was HUMAN ONCE! And then some piece of crap had to take all that away from me..." said Lord Zarkiar, with his disgusted look becoming a grin on his face.
"And now, this will be your end, Mario Rodriguz...but it doesn't have to end this way. Why not join me, and together, you-Prince Mario Rodriguz of the Dark and ME-Lord Zarkiar, Akio Yusa, Lord of the Dark, will work side by side, TOGETHER, and control the world, and Equestria!" said Lord Zarkiar, with a sick and disturbing look on his face.
"I will NEVER join the likes of YOU, creep! GET OUT!" yelled Mario the Sonic Plush.
"Very well then..." said Lord Zarkiar. "Now, I am going to handle your girlfriend, Princess Twilight Sparkle. I am very sure she'll be willing to join my side!"
Lord Zarkiar then throws Mario the Sonic Plush against the wall, with great power. Mario nearly faints on impact. Lord Zarkiar moves on to his next plan of action.
Mario staggers, struggling to remove himself from the damaged wall he just collided with.
Twilight Sparkle, using the magic from her horn, attacks Commander Rengo. He gets knocked out. He's paralyzed, but he gets up.
Umbrage Flynn then slices through, and with his sword, he attacks half of Lord Zarkiar's army. Half of them are lying unconscious on the ground.
"You FOOLS! You just destroyed my army! Now I am going to have to go full force! Especially, on YOU, Princess Twilight Sparkle!" said Lord Zarkiar, in fury and rage.
You can see the hatred coming from Lord Zarkiar's eyes which just appear visible from his mask just now. You can see his eyepatch too.
Lord Zarkiar laughs sadistically as he creates a powerful cage to kidnap Princess Twilight and imprison her.
"So, Princess...it looks like you would need some company." said Lord Zarkiar/Akio Yusa, with a smirk.
"You're evil, Lord Zarkiar. There's two of them in the world, but you are even more dangerous and disgusting than the last one we fought!" said Twilight.
"Ugh. Screw that Anti-Mario. He stole my identity! I will never forgive him for that." Lord Zarkiar said, growling in sheer anger and disgust.
"So, when are we going to defeat you?" asked Atirik.
"NEVER!" yelled Lord Zarkiar.
He then snatches Twilight.
"And JUST what are you doing with MY Twilight?" yelled Mario.
"I am going to kidnap HER! And make her my slave. She will do everything I say." he said, chuckling.
"NEVER will I be a slave! Especially NOT to the likes of you!" yelled Twilight, as she freed herself from Lord Zarkiar's grip.
She kicks him in the leg.
"Alright, fine by me! We are going to have to do this the old fashioned way, Princess!" said Lord Zarkiar, desperate to make Twilight his slave only to get rid of her.
"Catch me, Princess Twilight Sparkle. If you can. HAHAHAHAHA!" said Lord Zarkiar, laughing and grinning as he ran over.
"This is something I MUST do alone!" said Twilight.
Twilight then uses her magic and flies with her wings, towards Lord Zarkiar-also known as Akio Yusa.
Suddenly, both accidentally run into a portal to Earth, the homeworld which Mario the Sonic Plush and Lord Zarkiar are from originally.
-Vice City, Florida, Planet Earth-
Twilight then crashes and bumps her head. She discovered that she landed on Earth for the first time, in her normal pony princess form.
She then sees Lord Zarkiar running ahead of her on the road where cars and other vehicles are riding and thus she flies, chasing him.
A young adult man, around late 20s to early 30s, driving in his car, then looks at the entire scene going on the road in front of his eyes.
"What...is going on here?!" he said, shocked to see the pony and the insane madman chasing each other around.
Amongst the pursuit, Twilight ends up close to the man, she briefly turns to him for a second and speaks to the young man driving his car.
"Something important is going on. I can't tell you." said Twilight, flying beside the driving man, as she continued flying towards Lord Zarkiar, and up towards the sky.
The driving man wears a shocked expression, as Twilight takes off. He is awestruck at the talking, multicolored pony (Horse) flying right before him, chasing a flying, masked, middle aged man in the sky.
"What did I just hear? No...that can't be real...can it?!" said the guy in shock. "I think I'm just going crazy..." he said.
Suddenly, he gets a phone call from his mom.
"Hello?" he said as he picks up the phone while still on the road, in the car.
"Nick! What is UP with you?! You're going to be HOME late!" yelled his Mom on the phone.
"I'm sorry, but I am stuck in bad traffic now and...it's causing me to take longer to get home from my interview. I'll be home soon, alright Mom?" he said.
"Alright, son. Say, did you hear the Vice City news report about this strange psychopath and some horse he's chasing?" she asked him, on the phone.
Nick, the one driver, is shocked as to how his Mom knows this.
"Really? You heard about it? Cause I saw it happen right there just now. I'll call you later. Bye Mom!" said Nick, the driver, as he hangs up the phone
Twilight continues chasing after Lord Zarkiar. Zarkiar tries to attack her but Twilight is not hit at all.
The two continue to chase each other.
"You can't stop ME!" yelled out Lord Zarkiar.
"Pfff...oh, please. You aren't all that powerful! Even I can beat you to a pulp!" taunted Twilight, while flying.
Twilight then keeps flying until she grabs a hold of Lord Zarkiar
Twilight then flies so many times and intentionally hits Lord Zarkiar, in the groin. However, it also hits half of his mask, revealing half of his true face, but the left of his face mask is still visible. His robotic armor is short circuiting, to the point where you can see half of his human body inside the suit.
"Now, let's get back to my world!" said Twilight, acting all tough.
But Lord Zarkiar won't give up. He then runs back into the portal just before Twilight can.
Twilight then flies back into the portal to Equestria, chasing after Lord Zarkiar.

Kit's POV
Remember when I said I was going to train myself to defeat Mario the Sonic Plush? The gym back at home is where I'm heading. When I'm finished learning new skill moves, I will become tougher and more agile when fighting my enemies. It'll give me a confidence boost, and I won't have to feel like I'm not strong enough and a bit weak anymore later on.
Meanwhile, I did happen to see a news report on a storefront selling TV's and electronics stating that a strange colored pony and a madman were fighting eachother. Could it be that Lord Zarkiar has returned? Anyway, I have this strange feeling that I am going to win against Mario during training. I just know it. Something is telling me that the outcome of this duel is going to be in my favor, no matter if the odds are stacked against me.
When I return….well, you'll just have to wait what happens next. Kit out.
