Chapter 18: The Brutal Fight

Mario the Sonic Plush closes his eyes and remembers what Kit just told him.

"It's so pathetic. Look at you and look at me. You aren't even that strong, even after you, along with the allies, totally killed Lord Zarkiar with your moves. I am way more stronger than you will ever be. That's a fact..."

The prince then proceeds to rage.

His new girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle, and his other new girlfriend, Rarity both interrupt his rage quit moment for a second.

"Sorry to ask you this but why are you still in your dark form?" asked Twilight.

"Yeah, why, darling?" asked Rarity.

Both Twilight and Rarity are concerned for their boyfriend.

Mario the Sonic Plush looks at his girlfriends, sadistically. He looks coldly at them, almost unrecognizable.

MTSP suddenly goes berserk.

"Do you wanna know WHY?! Oh I get it. It's because I have been trapped here, for YEARS! I found out my life was all a lie. That Equestria was all real. My parents knew...they never told me anything. I predict that I was born here as well. My life was all a lie. I suffered so much abuse throughout my childhood, and then coming to terms with the fact that I may not be born on Earth, that a land that I was led to believe was fictional actually exists, makes me so overwhelmed. Also, Discord was a bully to me and now I see that Kit has a petty bone to pick with me. I might as well remain in this form, to fight. I am in FURY! You DO NOT UNDERSTAND! I am GOING TO BLOW IT ALL UP!" yelled MTSP, in rage, going berserk, at Twilight and Rarity.

Mario the Sonic Plush then looks at Twilight and Rarity and then back at Kit, with a sadistic, sinister smile. A smirk on his face.

"Alright then, we shall duel. Just note that I won't go easy on you, FOX!" said Mario the Sonic Plush, yelling it out to him.

"Like I would give you any sort of chance to beat me." Kit said smirkingly.

Kit suddenly begins transforming into his dark form. Mario's friends look shocked.

"Now this is more like it." Mario the Sonic Plush said.

Kit raises himself up in the air and so does Mario. "I'll show you I'm not to be messed with, freak." said the dark Kit as he begins charging up negative dark energy in his hands.

Kit raises his hand towards Mario and suddenly a beam of light is thrust towards him. "Focus Dark Blast!" Kit shouts as he hits Mario and he goes flying into a building.

The spectators are shocked and awed by Kit's amazing powers.

Dark Mario the Sonic Plush growls. How could he have let Kit make the first move?

"You will regret that, fox." Mario says in anger. "Chaos….Blast!"

A wave of energy is released and heads towards Kit with incredible speed. Kit attempts to dodge out of the way, but it is too fast and his leg is hit.

"AGH!" Kit shouts. The spectators, Mario's friends, are cheering.

Kit gets up, with a bruise on his leg. But it doesn't stop him from charging at Mario with his rage-filled red eyes.

Mario proceeds to dodge the attack and clenches Kit's fist tightly, then throws him towards the ground, hitting his head.

"You stupid fox. This is why no one likes you." Dark Mario said with such disgust. "You're afraid and jealous of me. Jealous that I'm stronger than you in every way….while you were always weak from the very beginning."

Kit gets up immediately after Mario's trash talking. He seems even more determined now to end Mario's life instead of just knocking him out. "And you always think you are something special. But you will be nothing when I'm through with you!" shouts an angry Kit. He then vanishes into thin air, teleporting behind Mario.

"Huh?" said a confused Mario.

Suddenly he is bashed in the head from behind and is smacked down into a concrete sidewalk. Mario appears to have suffered a minor concussion from that attack, but he quickly recovers.

He turns around and sees Kit pointing a ray gun at his face. Before Kit could fire, Mario knocks the laser gun out of his hand. He then lands a strong kick on Kit's face but Kit dodges and punches Mario in the gut. Mario coughs. Kit then traps Mario in a ball of dark energy and makes him spin around very fast in it, making him feel dizzy and wanting to puke.

Mario loses his concentration as he proceeds to hurl a few direct chaos blasts but misses each shot. Then Kit teleports behind Mario again and punches him in the back once again, sending him flying.

Kit laughs. He drags Mario's body up, opens his mouth and spits inside it, causing bystanders to have disgusted looks on their faces. He then punches his face causing him to go down again.

"I'm weak? Look at you. You disgust me."

He then proceeds to drag one of Mario's legs and spins him around like a record, tossing him into a wall and breaking it. Mario coughs.

Mario proceeds to try and get up, but Kit puts his leg on top of his head. "Think, Mario, THINK! You knew this day would come. You may have been able to defeat someone as strong as Lord Zarkiar, but when you're up against me, it's a whole different story."

"Just….stop it. Please." Mario said.

"Why should I? Why should I ever stop?" asked Kit, "Another reason why I wish to end you is because you and Eliza are way too CLOSE!"

"I'm sorry…!" Mario said with tears forming in his eyes. "Eliza is just my best friend."

"YOU ARE NOT SORRY, YOU FREAK!" Kit shouted at Mario as loud as he could.

Mario shakes. Kit is reminding him of Tony. His biological father when he says that.

He remembers a flashback

(June 12, 2008)

Tony pummels MTSP on the ground, beating him up. Kicking and punching him.

"I'm sorry, Daddy. I'll do better next time."

"YOU ARE NOT SORRY, FREAK! You are a MISTAKE that should NEVER have existed! Get out of my sight!" yelled Tony

(Flashback ends)

"Ugh…" Mario throws up on Kit a little. This causes Kit to get extremely mad.

He proceeds to grab Mario by the chest and headbutts his face. Kit still cocks back his fist. He then uppercuts Mario's chin causing him to fly towards another wall. He then breaks one of Mario's arms and stomps on his quills repeatedly for a while before lifting him up again. His eyes are filled with cold hatred. Before he could land a devastating blow to Mario's face, he kicks Kit off of him. Kit tries to get up and kick him in the stomach, but Mario grabs ahold of Kit's neck really fast and throws him down on the floor, tightening his fist and causing him to choke. Mario's eyes are filled with a rage unlike anything anyone had ever seen.

"I told you to stop." Mario says to Kit, still choking and gasping for air.

"W...whatever, fool." Kit says in a very weak voice. Suddenly, Eliza runs up to both of them and pushes Mario off of Kit.

Eliza screams at both of them to stop it!

"Both of you! Stop Fighting!"

Mario the Sonic Plush and Kit turn back to normal. Both are no longer in their dark forms.

"Just so you know, I won." said Kit, with a smirk on his face.

"Actually, it's a tie. We both won this fight, Kit." said Mario.

"Mr. Plush is right! You both won! You and Mario are both equally strong." said Eliza, with a smile.

Mario the Sonic Plush looks at Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, the rest of the mane six, Umbrage Flynn, Discord, Spike, Atirik with a confident victory smile. His other allies/friends could not believe how equally strong Mario the Sonic Plush and Kit are.

Kit is still mad at MTSP though.

"Get out!" yelled Kit, "Leave ME and Eliza ALONE! I do not want to ever see your pathetic face again!"

"Look Kit. I am sorry. You were just acting pathetic and thought you were stronger than me. Then you tried to take Eliza away from me, when we are just really great friends. It's not like I am stealing her from you." said MTSP.

Kit takes a deep breath and looks to be really shocked.

"Huh?" said Kit

"Yeah..." said Mario, "Plus I am way stronger than you and if we ever have another rematch, I can totally kick your butt to next week!"

"Yeah. Btw, Mario the Sonic Plush never saw me in that way. He just thought I was pretty. Besides, he has Twilight and Rarity as his girlfriends, while I will have you. Plus, even though you are strong, Mario is way more powerful than you can ever dream of." said Eliza.

Eliza then winks at Kit.

"Wow. I really screwed up right there and jumped to insane conclusions. Mario, I only wanted to prove that I am much stronger than you which is the first and true reason why I decided to go against you in battle. I was also just jealous of you. I really do apologize. I will be less harsh on the hedgehog next time and I will always love Eliza." said Kit, apologizing to everyone

Eliza and Kit both stare into each other's eyes.

"Kit, I love you." said Eliza.

"I love you too. Starting today, Eliza, you will officially be mine. My girlfriend. I won't let anybody hurt you." said Kit.

Eliza makes the first move and kisses Kit on the cheek. Kit then kisses Eliza on the lips.

Everyone at the celebration just smiled, adoring Eliza and Kit.

Twilight Sparkle then looks over at Kit.

Kit then looks at Twilight with guilt and remorse.

"Um...Princess Twilight. Do you forgive me for my past actions? I didn't mean to disturb the rest of Equestria or make everyone mad but I don't blame you if you don-" said Kit, getting nervous. He's cut off by Twilight.

"Kit. I really do forgive you. To be honest, you aren't all that bad. Sure you might act like a stuck up jerk at times, a little too arrogant, but I know you aren't evil. You will never be evil. You chose the right path and I am really proud of you." said Twilight, with a smile.

"Wow. This is going better than I expected. Well, I still won't hesitate to try to take you down every once in a while. Especially for you, Mario the Sonic Plush! I'm still way better and stronger than you!" said Kit, looking towards MTSP again.

MTSP's allies/friends giggle at Kit's response. Even Mario the Sonic Plush chuckled.

"We'll see about that." Mario said

The celebration party went on. Kit made amends with the rest of Equestria. Kit is welcomed into Equestria, with open hooves.

Kit's favorite edgy songs start playing on the radio at the celebration, as per request by Eliza to Princess Luna.

Princess Luna hugs Kit. Once Kit told the three princesses his life story, how he was abused by his human parents, and swearing revenge on humans due to his human parents being abusive towards him, Princess Luna completely sympathized with him. Luna also felt completely ignored by her parents growing up while they favored Celestia, and she got her revenge on Equestria thousands of years ago when she became Nightmare Moon.

"So Luna, I am relieved that you know how I have felt…" said Kit, with a smile. "Thank you for the support".

"It's not a problem." said Princess Luna.

Luna smiles at Kit.

"So, let's become friends." said Luna.

"We shall." said Kit, with a smirk.

Luna and Kit shake on it.

Shining Armor then walks up to Mario the Sonic Plush. He is acting all nice to him, but on the inside he secretly hates him.

"So, Mario? What are you going to do now?" he asked.

"I honestly don't know. I don't know what's in store. If there's a new enemy coming or anything. But whatever happens, I'll be ready for it." said Mario.

Mario the Sonic Plush gives out a confident smirk.

Shining slaps MTSP on the head

"And stay away from my sister.." Shining said, growling

He walks away.

MTSP shrugs

"What's his problem?" Mario asked

The prince then passes out, unconscious, and bruised (although it looks at least a bit better now, where it's almost fading a bit). Kit with many bruises on his body, passes out as well. Twilight and Eliza call for an ambulance and they are taken to the hospital, where the two rivals will be there for a few hours or so. Twilight, Rarity and Eliza are in the ambulance with MTSP and Kit while the others follow them.

Meanwhile, Ct. Darkling Drac is standing on top of his new headquarters in Equestria, with his killer monster minions, including his little green demon Gerlies.

His eyes glow yellow and his fangs show as he growls, in anger.

"Don't worry. I will make sure the energy is sucked out of everyone here, and then they'll see why the world is made of hurt. This is a great idea. It's time for some revenge."

Darkling vowed.

Gerlies smiled.

"Yay! Long live Count Darkling Drac!" Gerlies chanted

All the other monster demons follow Gerlies chant.

"Long live The Count! We will obey our master."
Darkling grins.

The bats fly all around him, cheering their owner on.

"Good..Now, we shall teach the world a lesson not to mess with us."

He chuckles, with a sick, twisted and disturbing grin.
