Chapter 40: Fury of Tirek

"You three alone believe you're enough to stop me?" Tirek growls. Then he lets out a big hefty laugh. Mario, Kel, and Zeke stare at him, ready to combine their attacks.
"You're going back to Tartarus from whence you came." Mario said.
Tirek is angered by the mere mention of the place. He rushes to Mario and begins choking him. "I am not to be tested, Mario."
Zeke transforms into a warrior version of himself using a gold Umbran medallion on his chest. He carries a large plasma sword capable of cutting through thick armor. "I can't believe Uncle Kodai gave me this…."
He lets out a battle cry and pierces through Tirek's stomach with his plasma sword, causing Tirek to let go of Mario.
"OW!" Tirek cried.
Kel attaches a blaster hand to his left arm. He lets it charge up. A big ball of energy is fired and strikes Tirek in the leg. Tirek falls.
"Is…he dead?" Mario asks.
"I don't–" Zeke is cut off as Tirek proceeds to laugh and get up.
"Well. Looks like we might need some more help." said Mario, "but I'll try to at least buy me and Tirek some time before he dares to end me."
He closes his eyes. Tirek takes notice of the Prince's slight change in appearance. He now has purple streaks that were not there before, and he looks more powerful than ever like he could be able to surpass Tirek.
Mario smirks.
"Get ready to see how much stronger I have gotten since the last time we met." he said
Lord Tirek laughs.
"Yeah, right? I can not be stopped. Not even the Prince of Equestria himself" said Tirek, as he points to Mario, "can stop me."
Mario The Sonic Plush powers up.
His spikes start to go upwards. His eyes glow to a light blue. His hair/quills turn all completely purple. His skin all over is now purple, and his stomach as well as his muzzle are just pure white.
He smirks.
"This is my hyper form. The one I used before to prevent all the rioters that were brought out by Neighsay from killing me and others." said Hyper MTSP, "And it will be the form that I use to hopefully knock you down."
The aura from the hyper form engulfs him. He then unleashes a powerful, dark black tornado storm that would take Tirek out for a while.
Tirek covers his eyes. He is astonished at the increased power that the Prince of Equestria himself has.
The tornado briefly engulfs Tirek then tosses his huge, muscular body to the ground, while it looks like Tirek is in a coma as a result.
Tirek's eyes are blinking but he doesn't respond.
"That should put him out for a while." said Mario
Kel and Zeke smile at the prince.
This was not to last. After two minutes, Tirek wakes up and looks at the prince.
"I must admit, you impressed me, Prince Mario. You have gotten much stronger since we last encountered each other. However, you are still no match for me." said Tirek
Mario growls.
"Ugh. I knew this was too good to be true." said Zeke
Lara Larfield, Mario's mother, with her fiance', George Saki, are walking around the town to get some pizza when they see their sons and Zeke fighting off against Tirek.
"Is that MY SON MARIO?!" Lara said, gasping in shock
"And that's my son, Kel, as well with him." said George
"We should go help." said Lara,
George nods, in agreement.
Both Lara and George rush over to the battlefield. They go to assist both their sons, and also the Umbran known as Zeke against Tirek.
Lara uses a power glove to punch Tirek in the face. Tirek falls backwards, but gets up shortly. Mario looks confused at Lara. "Woah. Where did you get that?" he asks Lara.
"Oh, this power glove? I got it right before I joined the battle." she replied.
Meanwhile, George uses his advanced martial arts techniques as a black belt against Tirek.
"It's good to see more allies on the field." Zeke says, in his alien golden armor with blue lights.
Kel smiles. "Dad, you're amazing!"
"George is your DAD?" Mario asks, surprised.
Kel nods in agreement. "Yes."
"Mario, let's focus on the battle. Tirek will not stop until we are dead." said Zeke, who is carrying a large plasma sword.
Mario nods. "Right."
Mario and Zeke begin to combine their powerful attacks against Tirek, which sends Tirek flying into a wall. Tirek growls and proceeds to throw chunks of the wall at both of them. They dodge the flying bricks.
"Pitiful. Is that the best you have?" Zeke teased Tirek.
"SILENCE!" Tirek said as he grabs Zeke by his armor's chestplate and tosses him to the ground.
"ZEKE!" Mario shouts. Zeke gets up clutching his left shoulder, with his armor damaged.
Zeke coughs violently and looks defeated. He has never experienced someone in battle this strong. Then he felt such an intense feeling he had never felt before. Voices begin to swarm his head. His eyes begin to burn with hatred. Mario rushes over to his aid, helping him get up.
Tirek laughs. He draws a large and heavy axe. "I am going to enjoy ending your pathetic lives."
"Shut up! I will die before I allow you to hurt my friends any more!" Mario shouted very angrily.
"So be it. I will kill you where you stand, you pathetic idiot. Enjoy the afterlife." Tirek says, growling. He raises his large axe over Mario's head, when…
Zeke suddenly gets up and rushes over to Tirek with anger in a pure adrenaline rush. He screams as loud as everyone can hear before he thrusts his plasma sword deep into Tirek's chest, burning his flesh and skin through metal. Tirek cries in sharp pain and drops his axe, piercing his right knee before collapsing to the ground with a big thud.
"You're….finished."
Zeke also faints next to Tirek, having exhausted all of his energy.

Twilight's POV
Princess Celestia called the six of us over to Canterlot for an "important meeting". Of course, Spike came along too because if you think I am leaving my son out of things, you have another thing coming.
I sure hope that Mario is okay. I am still very worried about him.
I don't even know what the meeting is about but we are about to find out now.
"I have very bad news that can very well put not only Equestria but also Earth in danger as well.", said Celestia, "Girls and Spike, Tirek has escaped Tartarus again for the THIRD time."
We all are shocked at this revelation.
"What? He's back again? But how?" I asked
"Yeah. Didn't the guards make tighter locks when we defeated Tirek again so he wouldn't really be able to get out of them or at least harder for him to escape?", asked Fluttershy
"It's probably because Ceberus isn't doing a good job at stopping his escape. He's always on vacation.", said Rainbow, "So Cerberus sucks at his job. He sucks hard."
"Shut up, Rainbow! Keep your pointless comments to yourself!", yelled Spike
Celestia sighs.
"We do not know why or how he was able to escape again but I suspect that some sick dark, powerful magic has come into play. You see, Tirek is not just going to attack Equestria but also Earth. In fact, Tirek is on Earth right now, absorbing the power of the humans on that planet. I believe he is now at this place called Podeneck, New York as we speak." She explained.
Suddenly, we are all terrified.
Fluttershy is the most horrified out of us all. She keeps shivering. Poor girl. Where's Discord when you need him?
Spike is hiding under me, in fear.
"This is bad! Really bad! No, it's not bad. It's horrible!", yelled Pinkie
"Oh no! That is where Mario went off to. I hope that he was able to at least distract him.", I said, "Whatever. We have to go there NOW to help him!"
"Sounds like a plan, Twilight.", said Rarity
-NO POV-
"Princess, we're going to help Mario!", shouted Twilight
"Alright, you all. Be careful. The fate of Equestria is in your hands." said Celestia
Twilight teleports over to Podeneck NY with Spike and her five friends following her.

Earth: Podeneck, NY- USA
Mario sighs. He smiles. The day seems to have been saved.
He plans on taking Zeke on as a pupil so he can help train him to become one of the very best, because if he plans on sticking around, at least what the prince himself can do is to teach him how to defend against up and coming threats in case he is not there.
Zeke then opens his eyes, wide awake. He smiles as it seems as if Tirek won't be causing any more harm.
However, this was not to last as the familiar red, giant centaur beast wakes up and gets himself off the ground with only tiny scrapes around his buff arms, and face.
Tirek laughs.
"If you actually thought that this would actually stop me, you are foolish." said Tirek, "No wonder. Without the assistance of Princess Twilight and her friends, you all are useless."
Zeke growls.
"Dammit. No matter how many times we try to stop him, he keeps coming back." said Zeke
"Zeke. Almost every single villain I ever fought had the same issue. Believe me, it's nothing special." said the prince
Kel face palms.
"There really isn't that much hope?" asked Kel
"Don't worry, Kel. We'll find a way to kill him. One way or another. If he is the true reason why my cousin Lily is handicapped, then I have no reason to even let him off easy this time. He even destroyed my girlfriend's old library treehouse the first time he escaped! No, he deserves a fate much worse than Tartarus." said MTSP
Tirek chuckles.
"In your dreams, prince! I should have killed you ages ago, just like I nearly did to your useless cousin." said Tirek, as his tone sounds more full of venom
MTSP pauses for a second. He then says something.
"So. It appears that I was right all along. Somehow, you in your weak state, was strong enough to push Lily into the lava. You caused her to rely on crutches for possibly the rest of her life. If I hadn't saved her, she would be dead and it would be all your fault. For this, I will permanently end your pathetic life. One less evil living would make a difference in Equestria." he said, as his voice is full of venom.
Suddenly, a punch knocks Tirek down. It's not from Mario, Zeke, Kit, Lara or George
"Where could this punch be coming from?" thought Zeke, as he wanted to ask
A close view happened, and it shows an image of Princess Twilight. Princess Twilight Sparkle. Mario's girlfriend and the Princess of Friendship herself. She is with Spike and her five friends: Rainbow Dash, Rarity (who is also dating MTSP), Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack.
Zeke smiles at the seven in awe while Kel stares at them, but more specifically at Twilight.
Kel blushes hard at Twilight
He goes to say something to Twilight.
"Hey, um, you're beautiful and pretty." Kel said
"T-thank you." Twilight said
"Care to introduce us, darling?" Rarity asked Mario
Mario keeps grinning.
"Alright. You seven. This is my new friend Zeke and my new little brother Kel." MTSP said, as he introduced them, "Zeke and Kel. Meet Princess Twilight, my girlfriend, Rarity, who is also my other girlfriend, Spike, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie."
"Nice to meet you all.", said Zeke
Kel nods and keeps smiling. He stares at Twilight, then back at Mario.
"You are practically made for each other.", said Kel
"Pretty much." MTSP said, while smirking
"You know, I've heard all about you. You're Mario's new friend, Zeke! My boyfriend wouldn't shut up about you!", said Twilight,
"That's me. It's nice meeting you, your majesty.", said Zeke, having heard all about Twilight and her status as the princess of friendship.
"Likewise.", said Twilight
Twilight and Zeke both shake hands on it.
They all turn back to Tirek.
Tirek laughs.
"So. It appears we have a little reunion, eh? It's too bad Discord is not there to enjoy the party, because then it would be complete.", said Tirek
Twilight then shoots out a magic beam from her horn which creates a gap in Tirek's chest.
Then, she lifts Tirek up with her horn and throws him at a building that has been closed for a few hours, knocking him down. The building then crashes down, reduced to ashes.
Tirek then gets himself up from the rubble and rushes back to Twilight. He goes up towards Twilight, and strangles her. He throws her on the ground like he is a wrestler.
Twilight screams.
Tirek then takes out his sword towards Twilight. He grins.
"It will be your end, Princess of Friendship. All of you will perish. I will rule all. I am not alone however. Many of us will bend together and overthrow everything you love to overrate." Tirek said
Tirek snaps his fingers and where the building once stood, he unleashes a big giant dark castle. His very own.
Dark, black clouds start to swirl in as Earth starts to take a dystopian appearance.
They all shake in fear as Tirek prepares to wreak havoc again, to wreck all humans, animals and inhabitants of Earth. Then he would move onto the next universe.
Mario growls. He is pissed at the sight of everything
"I really do hate this miserable planet but what Tirek is doing to it all is worse and that no innocent person should suffer all over it.", said MTSP, "I'd say we take him out of the living while we still can."
Tirek's eyes flash to pure black with no pupils.
"Tirek. Don't mind me askin' but how exactly were you able to escape Tartarus again? We locked you in there forever so you could not be able to get out alive. We want the truth." Applejack had said, asking Tirek as to how he escaped.
"AJ's right. You were clearly trapped there. How were you able to break off the lock and get out?", asked Spike
All the ones who are fighting off Tirek are wondering just how Tirek was able to get out of there this time.
"Alright. Since I am going to kill you all anyways, I will tell you. It is a very long story so bare with me.", said Tirek, "You see…"
Flashback
December 14, 2020
Grogar's lair…
Tirek's POV
How it all began was that the great Emperor Grogar was sitting in his chair inside his lair. Suddenly, out of thin air, he had summoned a mysterious black alien from the portal.
"So. Why again, have you summoned me here again?" the alien asked, "I told you. I didn't want to be a part of your lousy games. Unless you want to submit to me, I have no point in being in your presence."
"Ah, but you would be perfect for my plan." said Grogar, "Plagis the Third. Nobody makes a fool out of the mighty Emperor Grogar. I will not bow down to anyone! I make the plans, not you!"
"You are starting to bore me, Grogar. You are supposed to be the grandfather of all evil huh? You certainly don't act like it." said the alien, who is named Plagis.
"Shut up!" yelled Grogar
"So. I have to ask you again. Why did you summon me?" asked Plagis, "What exactly is it that you want?"
"I am currently unleashing a final solution to where we destroy everything and everyone. We will replace it with nothing but pain. I need your help. I'd make a deal. If we work together, then I will let you overthrow Erubax and take over the planet Umbra." said Grogar, "Like you wished."
Plagis thinks for a second, then responds.
"You win." said Plagis
"Perfect." Grogar said, "but you seem to be an expert at letting monsters go, is that correct?"
Plagis strokes his chin.
"Yes, but I don't understand what that has to do with anything." said Plagis
"As the first part of the deal, a certain centaur has to be freed. His name is Tirek. He has been defeated by those same heroes two times already. We will make sure he is stronger than ever. We will use him amongst other villains to destroy all. He can help us execute our goals."
"Alright. I'll help you with this." said Plagis, "But where is this Tirek exactly?"
"He is in this place called Taratus. I'll take you there myself." said Grogar.
Plagis nods. Grogar then teleports Plagis to Tartarus using his dark magic where I was being kept hostage after escaping the second time.
Tartarus
I am sitting in my cell, feeling bored. I still had some magic left to cause a bit of mayhem, but overall it is restricted and confined to these bars.
I then start to fall asleep when I hear a dark cloud approaching my cell. I suddenly saw both Grogar and Plagis III popping out of it.
"We meet again, Tirek." said Grogar
"Oh great. Not that I am complaining but what brings you here to my cell?" I asked
"Well. I have come to free you again. However, this time I am not alone. I have someone that has agreed to help me free you for good. This is Plagis The Third. My rival and a fellow alien from the planet Umbra. Like me, he specializes in dark magic and has had experience with letting monsters like you go." said Grogar
"Tirek. You'll be freed. Think about it. You will have the freedom you deserve and in doing so, you will be able to help Emperor Grogar destroy everything. Not just Equestria but Earth and every single universe." said Plagis the Third
I lick my lips and agree to it.
"Yes." said Tirek
"Then let it be done." said Plagis
Grogar and Plagis use their combined dark powers. They created a big, dark energy blast, which destroyed the lock and in turn broke down the bars so I got freed.
"I am finally free again. Thank you very much." I said
"You're welcome." said Grogar
"And here is some umbran armor. It would protect you and your powers from being harmed severely during the fight." said Plagis
Plagis hands me armor. I then slip it on.
I smirk.
"Prince Mario. Princess Twilight. All of you. I am back and this time nobody will ever stop me. This time will be different from last time. This time, every single world will bow down to me and Emperor Grogar."
-NO POV-
Tirek smirks.
"And that's how it all happened."
Twilight then gets up off the ground. She growls.
"You'll pay.", said Twilight, "You shouldn't have come back."
Spike then roars like a real dragon. He then reveals his wings and rushes into Tirek with an attack.
Spike grabs onto Tirek's beard, twists it, and then is about to unleash a big giant green flamethrower so Tirek is on the verge of dying.
Just as Spike is about to go and help finish off Tirek for good, Tirek wags his finger at him.
"Nah-ha. Not so fast, kid. If you want this, then both of us can play at that game.", said Tirek
Tirek then roars. He grabs onto a human woman and her baby. Both of them scream as their lives are being sucked by Tirek. They both fall onto the ground and faint. They are dead because of him.
"Now, you all will see. Our wrath will soon be here.." said Tirek
Tirek then slowly fades into a blinding white light. His body begins to morph.
His body elongates into what appears to be a tail. His head grows wider too. His form is starting to no longer be a centaur but what is appearing to be that of an evil dragon.
Suddenly. The white disappears. Tirek's final form is here.
Tirek chuckles.
"Woah. He just turned into a dragon!" Lara yelled out
"Uh oh. We're screwed.", said Kel
"This isn't going to be pretty.", said Zeke
"It isn't. But we will not give up. We'll crush him into pieces.", said Rainbow
"Rainbow's right. We will never give up!", yelled out Mario, "We'll stop him at all costs!"
"Let this be a lesson for all the harm he had caused!" Twilight said, while smirking
Tirek roars.
"I WILL KILL YOU ALL ONE BY ONE!", screamed Tirek
1 week later
Commander John Shepard woke up from the bed in his cabin after a long night of sleep. He proceeded to look at the mirror and wash his face. "What a nightmare." he whispered to himself. In that dream, the suicide mission that was crucial to taking the Collector base under the order of the Illusive Man resulted in failure and the deaths of him and every single one of his crew members that he swore to keep alive.
The Illusive Man was the one who found Shepard after the destruction of the old Normandy. Under his company, Cerberus, Shepard was restored to full health with enhanced biogenetics and modifications to his body, making him physically stronger. He even brought back the Normandy, fitted with new upgrades and EDI, an artificial intelligence that can help Shepard and his crew on many missions.
Even though Shepard was under T.I.M, he is a part of the Alliance. The Alliance is a collective government of many different alien species, including humans, spread across the galaxy who interact with one another using mass relays, a method of faster-than-light travel. Shepard's title "Commander" comes from the fact that he served a great amount of time with the Alliance Navy, the peacekeepers of the Milky Way galaxy.
Not only is Shepard a commander in the navy, but also a spectre. A spectre is someone who is given the full authority by the Alliance Council to protect the peace using any means necessary, and is sworn to defend the galaxy from danger, no matter how big or small. He was bestowed this title by the Council whilst stationed at the massive space station called Citadel, to track down a spectre who went rogue on Eden Prime and threatened to destroy the peace. That spectre's name was Saren, a turian who was working with the Geth, an army of synthetics in order to bring back a 50,000 year old ancient threat called the Reapers, who in the past wiped out all organic life in the galaxy by converting them into mindless drones.
Thanks to the efforts of Commander Shepard and his crewmates Garrus, a turian C-Sec officer, Wrex, a krogan warrior, Tali, a Quarian hacking expert, and Ashley and Kaidan, Saren was defeated, the reaper ship Sovereign was destroyed, and the threat was seemingly over, until the Normandy was destroyed by a collector ship.
Going back earlier, Commander Shepard was given the authority by the Illusive Man to recruit more members into the Normandy so that they could all prepare for what was known as the suicide mission, the plan came up by T.I.M to capture the Collector ship and give humanity a sizeable advantage over the Reapers, by reverse engineering its technology and enabling control of them. However, Shepard disobeyed T.I.M and had the Collector ship be destroyed, believing it was too dangerous to the galaxy as a whole.
It was 2 weeks after this mission that Commander Shepard received a distress call from one of the moons of Umbra, a planet located in the Hades Nebula. Geth soldiers were attacking the moon and its colonists, so he needed to act fast. On that mission, he encountered Zeke, who was travelling there for vacation. With Zeke's aid, the threat of the Geth were banished from the moon. Soon after the Alliance gained a new ally in the Umbrans, who accepted their proposal to join when Lord Erubax sat down with David Anderson and the members of the Council.
EDI alerted Shepard that it was morning time, but he was already long gone and was sitting in the mess hall eating his breakfast with Joker, the pilot of the Normandy, Garrus, Liara, Tali and Miranda.
Zeke, the newest member of the Normandy, was drinking coffee and hanging with Ashley, Jack, Samara and Jacob. Thane was meditating in engineering while Kasumi was alone in her thoughts in the observation deck, and Wrex was playing holographic chess with Legion, a geth who sided with Shepard at the conference table.
"Damn it." Wrex said annoyed, having been beaten by Legion twice. "You're cheating again! How is this fair?"
"Correction: Legion is a master of the game."
"Bah. Whatever." Wrex groaned. "Let's play again. This time, I will win, and I will crush you."
"Calculating chance of winning against Legion...5%."
Wrex grumbled.
Back at the mess hall, Zeke spoke to Commander Shepard. "Something just came up, I have to go back to Equestrion."
"Is it Mario again?" Shepard asked, chewing on some bacon.
"Yes. I told you before when you recruited me on your ship, Mario is my mentor. I train with him to get stronger everyday."
"I wonder what this guy can teach you that Shepard can't." Joker leaning back in the chair said to Zeke.
"I was going to continue before you interrupted me, Joker."
"Go ahead. We're all ears."
"He is my friend, and we talk and hang out alot. That won't be a problem, right? Besides, you guys can focus on the Reaper threat, Geth, Blue Suns, whatever...I've seen you all in combat."
"True," said Jacob, "but we think you can be pretty useful on our missions. We saw how you were brave enough to evacuate the moon's scientist teams and help them get the information we need on the Geth."
Zeke nods in understanding. "But I can be in many different places."
"I guess so," replied Shepard. "Alright Joker, set a course for Equestrion once we're done with our meals."
"Aye." Joker nodded.
As the Normandy used the mass relay to head to Equestrion, Zeke felt a chill run down his spine. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
