Transformers One: Siren Epilogue II
"Come, Siren," Megatron ordered, extending his hand.
But, instead of obeying him and coming to his side as she did originally, Siren does something entirely different than previously.
Siren presses close to Optimus's side, laying her head against his shoulder and putting a servo on his chest.
Siren is wearing a sultry smirk on her lips, eyes carrying none of their sparkling light.
To the contrary, there now lies something far more sinister.
Around them, it appears like everything has gone quiet, with no one moving or speaking a single word other than them.
Frozen in time.
Leaving only the three of them remaining.
Stepping forward seductively, servo lightly traced Optimus's arm as she slipped out from underneath his arm, using his original designation, Siren said "Oh, D."
Gasping, Megatron said "Your voice. You still have it."
Blessed be. It hasn't been taken from him forever.
Smiling, Megatron goes to embrace her but is met with a frigidness that he's never once encountered from her that stops him in his tracks.
"You think a makeshift throne is going to change the way anyone sees you? The way your friends, new and old see you? They're all still going to see exactly who you are. How you're such a weak, insignificant, last choice compared to Optimus. Primus, the Primes, and Alpha Trion's chosen champion. Never the first to lead and rule Cybertron," taunted Siren in cruel ridicule, silkily.
Optics wide, Megatron said "Siren?"
Siren begins circling him like a female predator on the hunt, looking at him as if he was nothing more than an insignificant and pathetic bug.
Optics of Siren's that Megatron swears can see right through him as they always did no matter how hard he tried to hide his true self from others.
And it's here and now with just a simple look that Siren calls him out.
With blazing eyes, rounding on Optimus, Megatron said "You did this! You turned Siren against me! From the moment this all started you've been trying to turn everyone against me! To take Siren away from me!"
Circling around Megatron from the opposite direction, joining in with Siren, uncharacteristically, Optimus smirked "Is that what you really believe, D? Or is it what you've been telling yourself to allow you to sleep at night?"
Meeting in the middle, Optimus and Siren now stand side by side in front of Megatron, facing him together with smug sneers on their faces as they gang up on him.
Speaking in unison, simultaneously, voices echoing, Optimus and Siren say "Who do you think you are?"
Releasing a mighty roar, unable to stand this, Megatron strikes with his cannon to smite those who oppose and seek to steal from him…
And promptly snaps awake in his berth, quickly sitting up and gasping for air, a servo clutched tightly to his chassis.
Megatron heavily breathes in and out as he works to calm his rapidly beating spark from what he just experienced.
Instead of that grueling and hazardous warzone at the central plaza on Cybertron, Megatron finds himself within his private chambers.
A nightmare. A truly terrible nightmare. One Megatron has no intentions of repeating ever again.
Most of all, Siren could never betray him. She would never be able to.
Speaking of which…
Spinning around, Megatron sees Siren in the same spot he last saw her before he fell into stasis.
Siren is lying on her side with her back facing him, her slow and steady breathing showing that she remains in deep recharge.
Needing reassurance that she's there and that it was all just a bad dream without rousing her, Megatron gently rolls Siren in his arms and wraps her in a close embrace to his chest.
Sirens shift a little but don't wake up.
As Siren resettles against him, Megatron's bloodred scarlet optics flare. They are filled with loathing in a coldhearted glare at foes and past shadows unseen, fixated on a threat that only he can face.
Since the moment Megatron first heard Siren sing all those cycles ago, he has needed her around to imbue him with her warmth, love, and purity. Everything she said and did made his spark soar to unbelievable heights.
Even with her voice gone, surrounded on all sides by darkness in this desolate place, Siren's mere presence makes everything seem a bit brighter.
And Megatron is determined not to lose her to anyone. Especially not to that dratted Optimus Prime.
Megatron will make sure that Siren will always stay by his side and never desert him.
Never.
Never..
Never…

…SURPRISE!
I'm so happy to be able to bring you guys this. It was killing me not giving you guys another chapter and thankfully I got inspiration for this one from listening and watching the video Who Do You Think You Are from The Villains Lair Series on Youtube by Patty Cake Productions. If you haven't checked it out yet then it's. huge must. It's so wonderful and addicting that once you listen to the first episode of the series there's no turning back for you. If you haven't seen it yet then the moment you have some time check it out immediately.
I hope you all like this one! I certainly did while writing it for your vast enjoyment! ;D
For those of you just starting out with my stuff there are other works on my profile that may catch your interest. I highly recommend you take a look as soon as the opportunity presents itself to you. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised by what you discover.
Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.
So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
I know I am. ;) See you guys next time.
