Transformers One: Siren Epilogue III
Megatron has done it. He has finally done it.
It's taken many cycles to achieve this, but, utilizing every available resource at his disposal, Megatron has tracks down Arachnid's whereabouts at long last after searching all over Cybertron for the treacherous femme. Starscream and Soundwave had brought her in kicking and screaming and then handed the assassin over to Shockwave.
Oh, but Megatron is not after Arachnid herself. It's what she's carrying that he's more interested in.
More specifically, Arachnid's memory banks.
After extracting what he wanted, Arachnid somehow managed to escape before she could be executed for her part in Sentinel's schemes.
That doesn't matter to Megatron right now. There are only so many places Arachnid can go to hide. They can recapture her another day.
No, Megatron has what he wanted from that treacherous spider.
A video recording of the day Arachnid and Sentinel had cornered D-16, Orion, and Siren after the Iacon 5000 in the infirmary.
You see, one day, a thought randomly hit Megatron of Optimus using Arachnid's memory banks to oust Sentinel from leadership. That's when he got the idea of doing the same to Arachnid but for a more personal reason.
In his servos, Megatron holds a small device easily hidden on his person that holds the one small remnant remaining of Siren's precious gift.
Whenever he is alone, Megatron listens to it as much as possible so that he never forgets it.
Finding a brief piece in the tranquil melody that hits his audio receptors.
Siren's natural charm, vitality, kindness, and friendliness had given her added merit in his eyes when they first ran into each other on that fateful day in the miner's barracks. Merits that were dually enhanced by her exquisite voice.
A voice that now exists only in memory except for this tidbit that Megatron is determined for no one to ever know about except himself and those who had taken part in Arachnid's capture in order to obtain this precious treasure. Sworn to secrecy, none of them would risk leaking this information in fear of what he'd do to them in his wrath. Therefore, heeding the warning in his underlying threats.
Before everything had turned sour on them and spoiled everything, Siren had been a lively companion and amiable friend, with a strong sense of loyalty to those held closely to her heart. And secretly the envy of many other femmes around them, disregarding her shy and meek demeanor in crowds. But now with all the tragedy that had been dealt to her, Siren has been left sorely grieved from all directions. In truth, she can still scarcely comprehend the terrible array of misfortunes that she's so recently been barraged with.
Even now as they share a berth, Siren hasn't looked at him or anyone the same since the shock first hit her. Megatron doesn't think it'll ever truly go away.
Siren's spark has very clearly been torn in two. It's apparent to anyone who gazes at her.
Furthermore, as much as Megatron won't admit it to anyone else, even from him.
He had failed her big time in not stopping Sentinel from stealing not just her voice box but, also, all her aspired dreams and ambitions.
Whenever Siren would momentarily forget herself and try to speak only to be hit with the brutal reality that she no longer has a voice, he alone could distinguish the anguished look filled with turmoil that passed over her faceplates. It pierced his spark, and he longed to find some way to take the pain from him in some form of relief.
This is why Megatron cannot ever risk letting Siren become aware that he possesses his recording given how precarious things are between them. In a way that pierces their very sparks and has a slim chance of ever being amended.
Although, perhaps, this is more from a heavy amount of selfishness on his side, Megatron doesn't want Siren to be more disappointed and depressed about her situation that she already is. While he is content with this new situation and position in the station for himself, Megatron knows very well that she is not.
But there is far more to it than that in the first place for sure.
Megatron is no fool.
If it hadn't been for bonding his spark with hers ahead of time, Siren, no doubt would've ended up choosing and staying with Optimus Prime of all mechs and would undeniably return to him the first chance she could.
Megatron will not allow such an offense to happen on his watch.
This is one of his self-centered reasons as to why he's so jealously guarding this recording so very close to the chassis.
For if Siren's voice could never someday truly be fully restored, renewed to its former radiant glory, then he alone would relish in the figment that remained.
And in this way alone, Siren would be his forevermore.

Surprise again! Ah! I'm so happy to be able to bring this to you guys. I know how much you guys wanted more after we stopped at the end of the movie. It really bummed me out big time that I couldn't really continue unless a sequel for the first film was made. Luckily, I was able to get this one and the previous out to you. Fingers crossed that I'll find more. If not then hopefully more inspiration will come to me.

Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.
So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
