NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
"...and...there!" A beaming Luz says proudly as it is a normal day in Bonesborough, and we cue over to the Owl House as we see Volatus floating around with King lying on top of him and eating some chips while watching videos on Luz's phone as said person and Charles could be seen practicing their magic while wearing their Hexside School of Magic and Demonics Uniforms as the Human Witch reached into her satchel and pulls out her Spell Journal as the Dominican-American Teenage Girl opens it and quickly rips out a Ice Glyph Page as she tapped it before throwing it up high into the air as it glowed a golden color and was able to make a piece of big ice construct out of her and Charles's heads as the Human Warlock swiftly traced two big white magic spell circles and fired out dual streams of water as he created multiple shapes of himself, Luz, Eda, King, and finally, his Uncle as it died down. "We are getting the hang of this."
"Agreed, don't you think so, guys?"
"Oh, definitely," Volatus says as King grinned slyly.
"You think that's impressive?! Check this out! Two warriors battling to the death!" King says while holding out Luz's Phone as it shows a Cat preparing to pounce on another Cat but falls on its back as the kids look at the open portal door floating before them.
"Ah, I see we're getting enough Wi-Fi through the portal for cat videos."
"Senseless violence! Yes, attack! Death is your god!"
"We regret teaching you about the Internet." A deadpan Charles says as King rolls his eyes and scoffs.
"Hah, what possible regrets could come from the Internet-Oh! Look, I found some type of fan comics about the Owl House on a website called 'Hentai', something...wait, why is one of them about Luz and I having-,"
"DON'T LOOK AT THAT!" A panicking Luz screamed with a hot blush on her face as she reached over to snatch back her phone and opened up the YouTube App as the Human Witch handed the phone back to a confused King. "Just...just continue watching YouTube..."
"Hey, at least he hasn't found out about the Owl House Rule 34," Charles whispered to Luz, who shivered in disgust as she nodded.
"Yeah, anyway, to change the awkward subject, I have to say, I wish that I had an easier way to use Magic. Don't get me wrong, I love my Glyphs, but during battle, it is a bit inconvenient to reach into my Spell Journal to use my spells."
"Well, I can understand why they would frustrate you, but using these Glyphs is the only way that you can use magic, so unless you tattooed those Glyphs into your body to have easier access, there's not much that you can do," Charles says with a shrug as Luz says nothing but looks away thoughtfully as King suddenly hands her phone back to her.
"You got a text from your Mom." King says with him and Volatus eyeing the phone curiously as Luz freezes and glances down at her phone to see that Camilla had sent her a message saying, 'How's camp today, cariño? Are you and Charles having fun? Have you started dating yet~?', as the Human Witch gulps nervously and starts typing, 'I', then deletes it as she typed, 'I'm', and, 'It', as those were deleted too, and Luz simply decided to send a thumbs-up emoji.
"Good enough."
"Ah, a severed hand. Perfect response." King says while jumping off Volatus's body as he lands on the couch, and Luz flops down on the couch and puts a pillow on her face.
"Ugh, what am I supposed to say?" Luz asked as Charles nodded with a heavy sigh.
"Yeah, we feel bad for lying to our family, but if we tell Uncle David and Mrs. Noceda the truth about us not being at that stupid Summer Camp and instead spending the Summer at the Demon Realm to learn on how to become a Witch and a Warlock, they would immediately force us to go back to the Human Realm."
"So...what? Are you planning to keep the secret away from them forever?" Volatus asked worriedly as Charles shook his head.
"No, Luz and I decided to tell our family the truth when came back to the Human Realm at the end of the Summer. We want to become real Witches and Warlocks to prove to them that our time here at the Demon Realm wasn't a waste."
"Yeah, that's probably a good call. They will be freaked out by our world anyway, so actually, by keeping the truth from them, you're doing them a favor." King added as Luz rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
"Hmmm, the Demon on our shoulders makes a good point."
"Always trust a shoulder demon!" King says as Volatus sighs heavily and facepalmed as Luz hands the Titan back her Phone just as Hooty opens the door and smiles brightly.
"Hoot hoot, Luz and Charles! Time to fill up those darling little heads of yours with..." Hooty says before regurgitating a stack of books onto the ground. "Mm-hmm! Delicious knowledge!"
"Goddamn it, Hooty, Luz and I keep telling you to stop eating our books and our clothes!" Charles yelled with a glare as Luz nodded with a light blush on her face.
"Yeah, I know that you are the one who keeps eating my panties!"
"It's not my fault they look like candy!" Hooty protested as a worried Sapphire, Falishua, Willow, Gus, Kenny, and Viney poked their heads in.
"Please hurry!"
"I literally deal with the dark arts and even Hooty freaks me out!"
"The more I look at him, the more uncomfortable I get!"
"I can't stand being around him!"
"I would rather kill myself than be around him for a single second!"
"Please come out or else I will have Puddles eat him!"
"Alright, alright, we are coming," Charles says reassuringly while walking off with Volatus flying after him as Luz kisses King on the head.
"Don't spend all day watching YouTube, 'kay?"
"I forge my own path!" King says indignantly as Luz giggles and follows after her friend as they leave the Owl House, and the Titan glances down at Luz's Phone as it shows a fluffy black cat chasing its tail. "Heh, what a dum-dum." King says before getting distracted by his own tail wagging as he tries to catch it but flops on the couch after a second. "...Eh, who has the energy?"

Stepping into the abandoned house in the woods, an amazed Charles and Luz saw the Eye Door standing in front of them as they shared a look and nodded in determination as the Teenage Lovebirds opened the door and stepped through as they were teleported into the Boiling Isles and looked around in wonder and shock...before realizing that they were teleported in the sky and began falling down as Charles and Luz screaming in fear before grunting softly as Eda and King flew into the scene while riding around in the Owl Lady's Magic Staff as they flew over to snatch Luz while Volatus appeared into the scene as he flew over to catch his New Master.
Surprised by this, Luz and Charles then gave their friends a thankful look as Eda winked at them while Volatus gave him a thumbs up after forming his tassel into a fist as they then flew down into the direction of the Owl House and phased into the house as we appear at the Front Door and see Hooty smiling at the readers as the Human Witch/Warlock then opened the door with Luz holding Eda's Staff while Charles held his Steelbite Sword as the Kids twirled around their weapons, but Charles accidentally let go of his sword as it flew over to stab someone off-screen with said person yelping in pain as Eda appeared with Steelbite stabbed into her head as she gave her Apprentices an annoyed look and Luz and Charles smiled at her nervously as King suddenly pops up into the screen with his limbs outstretched as he smiled at the readers.
Charles and Luz's Witch/Warlock Friends and Rival appeared in three frames that resemble the Eye Doors but were covered with magenta flowers and three branches as Falishua bowed with a smirk as his Shadow formed out of his back and waved cheekily as a cheerful Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, Kenny's Skeleton could be seen hanging from the ceiling with the help of strings, a grunting Sapphire transformed into her Monthra Form with a big grin on her face, Viney summoned Puddles and leaped on top of him with a smirk on her face, and a glaring Amity merely crossed her arms as she looked away with an indignant huff, but had a small smile on her face as we suddenly see King holding a stuffed rabbit, along with many other stuffed animals around and pretending to rule these stuffed animals until some of them fall on top of a surprised, squealing King while other stuffed animals keep falling in front of the camera.
Beaming joyfully, we see Charles and Luz flying across Bonesborough with the help of Eda's Magic Staff, and Volatus as the Magical Apprentices flew past their friends and shared high-fives with them as the Human Duo flew past Amity, and Luz was quick to kiss her on her left cheek while Charles playfully smacked her in the ass, causing Amity to yelp in surprise and blushed brightly the Human Witch and the Human Warlock laughed at this but then gasped in shock as they spotted Eda and King being confronted by Lilith, Shepard, and several Guards. Reacting quickly, Luz and Charles flew over to save Eda with the Powerful Witch leaping onto the Magic Carpet while Luz snatched away King and placed him behind her as the Group waved at a shocked Lilith and the others playfully before Luz lost control of the staff and accidentally flew over to collide against Charles and the others, causing them to fall down into the air right into a Giant Monster's Mouth as the Gang screamed in fear and shock.
Standing on top of the Roof of the Owl House, Eda and King could be seen watching on proudly as Charles, Luz, and Amity were floating in mid-air thanks to the help of Volatus as the Warlock had his arms wrapped around the Witches' slim bodies, and a smiling Luz was quick to cast a Light Spell as she shaped it into a small ball while Amity quickly cast an Abomination Spell and created a small ball of abomination goo with Charles swiftly using a Fire Spell to propel both spells up high into the air just as the trio turned to each other and stared lovingly into each other's eyes before closing them as Charles, Luz, and Amity took turns to share a big passionate kiss with each other as their Magic Spells formed into a big shiny glowing sludgy heart surrounded with intense white flames in the night sky before it blew up majestically as the logo of the story appeared in front of the readers.

"Coming through! Watch your heads!" The Spider Kindergarten Teacher says with a warm smile on her face as we then fast forward in time and we cue over to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics as we see her and her students decorating the halls with streamers as the halls are decked out with balloons made of abomination goop and other decorations as Charles, Luz, Volatus (Who was wrapped around the Human Warlock's neck), Sapphire, Falishua, Willow, Gus, Kenny, and Viney appear onto the scene.
"Whoa, what the heck is going on here?" Charles asked curiously as Willow perked up.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you and Luz have never been here for the social event of the season."
"Charles? Luz? Welcome to your first-," Gus says before getting cut off guard by two Masked Health Workers entering the scene while rolling a stretcher and making siren noises as the Workers surround a Beast-Keeping Student with dark skin, blond hair that covers his eyes, and big, pointy ears similar to a bat as Bo looks on curiously.
"Come with us immediately! Your disease! It's advancing!" One of the Workers says as they helped him onto the stretcher.
"Is there a cure, doc?"
"Only one...finding the perfect date to Grom!"
"If that's the cure...then, Bo, will you go to Grom with me?" Bat Boy asked while holding out a beating heart with the words, 'GROM?', written on it in red ink.
"Ahhhhh! Of course, I will, or whatever!" Bo squealed happily while hugging him, and onlooking students and teachers cheered.
"Wait, hold on, you guys have a Prom in the Boiling Isles like we do?" A surprised Charles asked as Falishua nodded.
"It seems so yeah. Anyway, I'm going to the Grom with Willow." Falishua says while reaching over to grab Willow's hand as she blushed, and Falishua's Shadow gave him a thumbs up.
"And I'm going with Skara," Kenny says with a light blush on his face as he points over to Skara, who is talking with Boscha as she waves at him cheerfully.
"Sapphire and I are going to Grom," Viney says while wrapping her arm around Sapphire's body as she blushes heavily.
"And I'm going alone because I'm going to DJ the whole event," Gus says with a smug grin as the lovebirds perked up.
"Oh, man, this is awesome. We always wanted to go to Prom, but Charles and I were kicked out of our last school dance for dressing like otters."
"But it was worth it to see the look on everyone's faces," Charles says as he then turns to give Luz a blushing and shy smile. "So, uh, Luz, I know that this is sudden, but...do you want to go to Grom with me?"
"Are you kidding me? I would love to go to you." A blushing Luz says while grabbing his hand as Charles smiles.
"That's great. I promise tonight will be the best Grom Night ever, and who knows, maybe you and I will be Grom King and Queen." Charles says as Luz giggles and smiles as the others share nervous looks.
"That's, uh, not something people usually sign up for," Volatus says just as Amity turns a corner from behind, being restricted by her stack of books and the note that she was carrying around as the Witch unknowingly bumps into Luz and Charles, causing all of them to crash down into the ground as they all yelped in surprise.
"Ow! Watch it, nitwit-Oh, hi, Luz, Charles... and co. Sorry about that." An angry Amity says with a glare after her Shadow sprung up from out of the ground and clapped her on the back of her head to point ahead, making the Witch realize who she was talking to and blush in embarrassment as Luz waved off her apology.
"No problem, let us help you," Luz says as she and Charles help Amity pick up her books and hand her a little pink note that she dropped. "Here, your note!" Luz says before squealing in surprise as a worried and panicking Amity snatches the note away. "Man, you got some quick grabbers," Luz says with a blink as Amity and Falishua's Shadows go over to talk with each other.
"It's just, it's... private."
"Don't worry, we wouldn't have even read it anyway since it's your note," Charles says reassuringly as Amity pauses a bit and smiles lightly as she then blushes and is about to ask them both something, but stops as the speaker screeches on.
"Attention, Hexside students! This is your principal speaking!"
"Oh, man, this is it!"
"He's announcing who'll be this year's Grom Royalty!" Gus and Willow say nervously as Amity looks on, concerned.
"This year, I have the privilege to bestow our highest Grom honor to...Amity Blight! Our Grom Queen!" Principal Bump says with everyone gasping in shock and horror as an uneasy Amity gained a pale face and gulped nervously as she turned around to run off, and the lovebirds were about to chase after her but were stopped by a sympathetic Falishua.
"You might want to give her some space, guys."
"Yeah, being Grom Queen is a tough job," Sapphire says as Kenny nodded in agreement.
"Even for Amity," Kenny says as we then fast forward to the Hexside School of Magic and Demonics Gym, and we see Students setting up decorations while Principal Bump oversees as the Snaggleback is hanging from the ceiling by a rope and spinning.
"Very good. Lower the streamers, fill the punch bowl, and how's my disco ball?"
"Nauseous."
"Great. Just keep it up for 36 more hours." Principal Bump says while turning around to walk away as the lovebirds enter the scene.
"Ah, our first school dance experience on the Boiling Isles. I can't wait to get overdressed, take awkward photos, push all the buttons-,"
"You mean like that one?" Charles asked while pointing over at a red button placed on a black-and-red pedestal with insect legs on the bottom. "...I want to press it."
"Should we press it?"
"I wanna press it."
"...Eh, YOLO," Luz says while she and Charles press the button as the ground rumbles, and the floor opens to an underground arena, connected by a ramp as two walls of weapons come up from the floor on either side of the kids. "Medieval torture seems like a strange theme for Grom, but hey-,"
"They're not for decoration." A familiar voice rang out as the lovebirds glanced up to see a somber Amity sitting at the top of the bleachers while being comforted by her Shadow as she then stood up and started to make her way down. "This arena's where I'll make my debut as Grom Queen," Amity says while walking over to them as Luz tilts her head confusedly.
"Right. Why don't you seem excited?"
"Because this isn't just some dance party," Volatus says while unwrapping himself from Charles as he points over at the arena, which shows black goop rumbling and growling. "That's Grom. Short for Grometheus, the Fear-Bringer. It's a monster that lives under the school."
"...I'm sorry the fuck?!" A shocked Charles asked as Amity turned to him to explain to the Human Warlock and the Human Witch about Grom's backstory.
"Every year it tries to break out, and a student has to defeat it before it invades the town. Ever the optimist, Bump holds a party and calls it tradition. The worst thing is that Grom can read minds and shape-shift into your worst fear, and mine...is very embarrassing."
"...I'm sorry, again, the fuck?! Why is everyone here treating it as if it is a normal thing to have a shapeshifting and telepathic monster under the school?! And why have the students fight it?! Wouldn't it make more sense to have the more magically experienced teachers or even the Emperor's Coven deal with this monster and not fucking inexperienced children?!" An angry Charles asked as Volatus shrugged.
"It's just how it is, kiddo."
"But it's not right to force Amity or anyone else to fight against this monster. In fact, you should go to Principal Bump and order him to have you taken out as Grom Queen." Luz demanded as Amity smiled lightly.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks, guys." Amity says while turning around to walk away and the trio watches her go sympathetically as we then fast forward in time, and we cue over to the Owl House as we see the group, including Sapphire, appearing onto the scene as they go up to Eda's Room and were surprised to see said person, Shepard, Queen, and King standing inside as they all wore fancy outfits.
"Hey, sweet duds, guys. What's the haps?" Luz asked while she and Sapphire sat on Eda's nest as Charles and Volatus continued standing/floating as Eda turned to her while wearing a long-sleeved high-collared brown jacket with a long-sleeved high-collared orange shirt underneath, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long brown pants, and a pair of black shoes.
"Shepard and I are chaperoning Grom tonight,"
"So we have to look sharp," Shepard says while wearing a long-sleeved high-collared dark purple jacket with a long-sleeved high-collared black shirt underneath, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long dark purple pants, and a pair of black shoes.
"And Gus asked us to co-emcee the fight," Queen says while wearing a bow tie as she then holds up a poster of her, King, and Gus, standing back-to-back in sunglasses as Gus holds a microphone.
"We're going to turn this blood-bath into a fun-bath!" King says with a bloodlusted grin as Eda grins.
"Ooh, have they announced the victim yet?"
"Amity."
"Oh, ouch." Eda, Shepard, King, and Queen said in unison as Luz nodded.
"Yeah, she's kinda freaking out though."
"It makes us wish that we could take her place." Charles as Eda and Shepard winced as they shared a nervous look.
"Ah, listen, kids, that's a noble sentiment, but Grom is a little above your pay grade."
"What do you mean? We had fought tons of monsters, Witches, and Warlocks before." Charles says as Shepard shakes his head.
"Yeah, but not one that messes with your heads. You two are inexperienced with dealing with powerful foes like Grom."
"That may be true, but we've been learning lots of new spells. We could totally handle it." Luz says defiantly as Sapphire nods.
"Yeah, and if they can't handle it, I will have their back, and if you don't believe in us, then tough shit," Sapphire says while she, Luz, and Charles turn around to leave as Volatus floats over to Eda and Shepard.
"Don't you think that you guys were too hard on them? They saved you guys from multiple monsters, remember?"
"Look, we are not saying that the kids are weak. Far from it, Charles and Luz are way more powerful and braver than I was at their age." Eda admitted as Shepard nodded with a somber sigh.
"But facing Grom means facing your worst fear, and I don't think the kids know what that means yet," Shepard says as Eda nods and then looks at herself in the mirror as she pauses a bit.
"Do you think I could pull off red eyeshadow?"
"Girl, you can pull off anything! Up top! We're style geniuses!" King cheered while sharing a high five with Eda as we cue over to the trio, and we see them stalking through the dark forest with angry glares on their faces.
"Pffft, please, we have faced much worse than that stupid Grom. We can handle whatever comes our way." Luz says just as she and the others heard nearby footsteps as they grew tense.
"Like whoever is standing near us," Charles says as he and the girls step forward to look through the bush, preparing to fight, but they are surprised to see a somber Amity sitting on a stump as she has a frown on her face. "Amity? What are you doing out here in the woods late at night?"
"Sulking..."
"But it's dangerous for you to be out here all alone," Luz said worriedly while she and the others went over to sit down on the tree stump as Amity looked away sadly.
"Well, seeing as you are sulking inside of a creepy forest late at night, I'm guessing the talk with Bump didn't end so well, huh?" Sapphire asked as the lovebirds had explained to her what happened with Amity earlier.
"He said no. I'm Grom Queen unless I can find a replacement, and who'd want to switch with me?" Amity asked dejectedly while curling in on herself as Luz and Charles shared a look and nodded determinedly as they stood up.
"We would," Luz says, surprising Amity as she turns to her.
"What?"
"Amity Blight, we'll do it. Luz and I'll take your place and face Grom in the arena. We'll be your fearless champions." Charles says while he and Luz stroke heroic poses as Amity blushes heavily and stares at them lovingly as Sapphire notices this and hums curiously as we then cue to the next day and we cue over to the Lovebirds' Room as we see Luz rummaging through a chest of clothes and pulls out a black dress as well as an otter suit.
"What do you think, Charles?"
"Hmmm, both look great on you, so why not both?" Charles suggested as Luz rolled her eyes playfully, and her phone buzzed as she picked it up, and noticed that it was a text from her mom, which reads, 'Mija! Visiting our fav after school snack spot!', as it also shows a selfie of Camila holding a sandwich outside of a store with a sign reading, 'Chimichurri Sandwhiches!', as another text reads, 'Miss you BEBE! XO', and Luz replies with a tasty emoji as she frowns at her phone, and a sympathetic Charles was about to comfort her but stops as Hooty suddenly enters and smooshes his face against theirs.
"Oh, guys! You have a guest!"
"Hooty! Stop breaking into our room!" An embarrassed Charles snapped, annoyed at having Hooty break into their room repeatedly, even when they were changing as both he and Luz visibly remembered when Hooty slammed against the tarp separating their room to give each other privacy when they changed, and both of them saw each other in their underwear as the lovebirds were unable to see each other in the eye for a full week. "Just leave!" Charles snapped as Hooty reluctantly left, and Amity entered their room through the door, picking feathers out of her hair as she huffed in irritation, and even her Shadow looked angry and annoyed.
"If that bird tube ever talks to me again, I'm going to have my Shadow strangle that thing to death."
"Trust me, no one would stop you if you tried. No one would miss Hooty if he is dead." Charles says with a sincere tone as Amity nodded and placed her hands on her hips.
"You ready to train? My Siblings and Sapphire are outside, waiting for us to begin your training sessions."
"Yep, but Amity, since you are a girl, I have to ask, which should I wear to Grom?" Luz asked as she held up the black dress and then the otter suit. "This one says, 'Witch with a dark side', but this one says, 'I'm an otter...with a dark side',"
"Guys, you need to take this seriously. If you two can't defeat Grom, everyone on the island will have to live out their worst nightmare." Amity says anxiously as Charles reaches over to grab her hands.
"Don't worry, Amity, we had faced much worse things than the Grom. We will deal with it."
"Definitely, you can count on us," Luz says while going over to hug Amity from behind as she blushes heavily at their touch, but the moment is ruined by Hooty entering the Lovebirds' room and going right up against Amity's scrunched-up face.
"You wanna hear my worst nightmare?" Hooty asked as the trio gave him blank glares, and after brutally beating Hooty to a bloody pulp, we then see the trio standing outside of the Owl House with Sapphire, Emira, and Edric standing before them as Hooty was now wearing an eyepatch and bandages.
"Grom will transform into your darkest fears. What are you afraid of, guys?" Sapphire asked as Edric turned to Emira.
"Wanna say our greatest fears? On three. One, two...three!"
"Being alone forever!/Being stuck with you forever!" The Blight Twins said in unison as Edric paused a bit and groaned in embarrassment as Charles and Luz then went over to hand a sheath of paper over to Amity.
"In preparation, we've made a list," Charles says as Amity reads it and Edric and Emira read it as they chuckle, and each draws two magic blue spell circles as a huge version of Luz's phone appears and the screen shows a Troll.
"Oh, shit! Trolls online who want to make people's lives worse just for entertainment!" Luz yelled panickedly as a giant rat appeared while wearing a New York Tourist Merchandise.
"Oh, god! That Giant Rat I saw when my Uncle took me on vacation to New York!" Charles screamed as Amity shook her head and walked up to the lovebirds as the illusions vanished.
"No, no, no, that's not enough. The reason I can't face Grom is because my fear goes deeper than things that just give me a small fright or make me feel uneasy. What's your real fear, guys?"
"...My real fear...is that Eda thinks that Charles and I are too weak to do this, and if she's right, I'll never be a real Witch."
"And my real fear is that I will fail to become a Warlock and I will go back home as a failure and a loser for the rest of my life," Charles says as Edric and Emira share sly grins and draw a conjoined magic blue spell circle as a giant illusion of Eda rises from the ground, flipping her hair as she points down at the lovebirds.
"You two are weak! You two will never be able to defeat Grom nor become a real Witch and Warlock! You two should just go back to the Human Realm and stop wasting my time!" Illusion Eda says with Charles and Luz sharing saddened and worried looks as Emira and Edric look proud of their creation while Amity and Sapphire look nervous as Eda and Shepard appear.
"What's going on-Whoa, is that supposed to be me?" Eda asked while staring over at the Illusion of Herself as she grinned sexily. "Damn, I am definitely one hot sexy bitch. Is it weird that I would definitely fuck myself if I could?"
"It is weird," Shepard says as he sighs heavily and waves his hand around to dissipate the illusion. "Anyway, are you kids training to be Grom Queen and King?"
"So what if we are?" An angry Charles asked as Eda rubbed her temples and sighed heavily.
"You think that training will help against Grom? Kids, you two always go overboard and we end up bailing you out. Now, what's the fun of watching a kid get eaten by a monster if it's my kids?"
"Well, maybe you'll have fun watching us defeat Grom," Luz says with a glare as Amity goes over to place her hands on their shoulders.
"Guys, I don't think you're ready, but we're literally out of time."
"Eh, we'll take it," Charles says with a shrug as Luz hummed and got an idea as she reached over to grab Sapphire's arm.
"Saph? Can we talk for a bit?"
"Uh, sure," Sapphire says with a confused tone as Luz leads her away, and we then fast forward in time as we see them hanging out in Luz and Charles's Shared Room. "So what do you want to talk about?"
"Well, I wanted to know, you are good with art, right?"
"Of course,"
"So...how good are you with tattoos?"
"Pretty good, I gave a few of my friends tattoos, why do you ask?" Sapphire asked curiously as Luz held out her Spell journal and showed her all of the four Magic Glyph Spells that she knew so far.
"I have a few tattoos in mind,"
"Wait, you want me to tattoo the Magic Glyphs onto your body?" A surprised Sapphire asked as Luz nodded.
"Yes, I want you to tattoo my glyphs onto my arms," Luz said, feeling the area between her forearm and elbow. "I definitely won't be able to rip out the pages of the Glyphs in my Spell Journal to be able to fight Grom. Tattoos of the glyphs will give me a shortcut so I can fight him."
"Are you sure? Getting Magic Tattoos is REALLY painful."
"It'll be worth it in the end. Besides, once I do this, I will no longer need to rely on my Spell Journal anymore. Please, Saph."
"Okay, Luz," Sapphire said as she took her Magic Tattoo Pen out as Luz reached down to grab her long-sleeved white/indigo hoddie with cat ears attached to the hood and took it off as well as her gray top underneath, leaving her in her dark blue bra, which was shortly removed to reveal her C-Cup Breasts as the Human Witch laid down on her bed.
"I need two of them just below each shoulder. Yellow for Light, blue for Ice, purple for Protection, and green for Plants." Luz says as Sapphire nods and reaches over to grab Luz's Spell Journal as Shepherd's Adoptive Daughter studies the Light Spell, Protection Spell, Plant Spell, and Ice Spell Glyphs carefully.
"Also, to remind you again, getting these Magical Tattoos will hurt you a lot, so here, bite into this." Sapphire says while handing a small piece of wood as Luz grabs it. "Now, lay down and stay absolutely still and don't move no matter what. One mistake can jeopardize everything." Sapphire says as Luz nods shakingly and takes a deep breath as she sits completely still.
"Okay, just do it. Don't stop no matter how much I scream." Luz ordered while biting into the piece of wood as Sapphire nodded and took a deep breath as she began her work by drawing the Light Glyph just below Luz's left shoulder, causing her to let out a muffled scream of pain as her friend continued.
"Don't worry, this will be all over soon," Sapphire says reassuringly with a warm tone while focusing on her work as Luz struggles to bear the pain, and three hours later, we see the Witch finishing her work with a small smile on her face. "And...done!" Sapphire says while drying away the sweat on her forehead as she had finished her work and stood back as a groaning Luz got up from the chair and winced at the throbbing pain in her arms. "Don't worry, the pain should go away in a few minutes."
"D-Don't I need to do something to heal my tattooed arms? Like ointments or whatever?" Luz asked as Sapphire shook her head.
"Nope, since I did Tattoos with Magic, your arms will be healed up in a few minutes and you will be all better. Now, go over and check yourself in the mirror and tell me what you think." Sapphire says as Luz then turns to the mirror and spots her new Magic Glyphs on her shoulders and arms.
"Whoa! These tattoos look beautiful! You did great work!" Luz complimented as Sapphire winked at her.
"Thanks, I may be slow but I like to make my time to my art perfect."
"Do you think that I will be able to cast magic on my own now?" Luz asked hopefully as Sapphire smiled at her warmly.
"Only one way to find out, darling," Sapphire says as Luz nods and shakily presses a hand to her Light Glyph Tattoo as it begins to glow yellow.
"Whoa..." An amazed Luz says while reaching into her tattoo to pull out a sword made out of light as she gasped and teared up as she began to cry laughing. "I can't believe it! I can use magic without my notebook anymore! Yes! Thank you so much, Saph!"
"You don't have to thank me for doing what I do best," Sapphire said as Luz smirked as she went over to tear off the sleeves of her hoodie and then put on her clothes.
"Ooh, I can't WAIT to show everybody! Oh, Charles is going to flip!" Luz cheered as she turned around to run away...but then came back with a sheepish grin. "Sorry, do I have to pay for this?"
"Nah, Friends don't pay for friends...although I do have one request...get together with Charles soon."
"...I will think about it," Luz says with a blushing and shy smile as she then runs off.
"...Arms so tired..." Snaggleback says with a groan as we fast forward to nighttime and we cue over to the Hexside School of Magic and Demonics Gym as we see rockabilly-style music playing in the background and couples awkwardly dance on the dance floor as Willow and Falishua use their combined magic to give corsages onto some guests that had shrunken heads on them that gives them compliments as they seem to love this as Edric and Emira were forced to hang out with each other since they got stood up by their Grom Dates.
"Nice work, Willow," Falishua says with a grin while wearing a black top hat with a red band that has a purple feather in it and a skull and crossbones on it, a necklace with two crocodile teeth, a dark maroon undertaker tailcoat with a purple vest under it that doesn't entirely cover his midriff, a red cummerbund, long black pants, and a pair of black shoes as he also carried around a black cane with a silver detail under a purple globe on top as his Shadow wore a similar outfit.
"Thank you," Willow says with a wink while wearing a pair of black round glasses, a strapless sleeveless green dress that reaches down to her legs with an orange bow wrapped around her waist, and a pair of yellow shoes.
"I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about going to Grom with you, but so far, I'm having a fun time," Skara says with a blush while walking past the others with Kenny as she had her long pinkish-gray/deep mauve hair lose and free as it reaches down to her waist, and wears a long-sleeved high-collared white jacket with a long-sleeved red shirt underneath, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long white pants, and a pair of black shoes.
"I'm glad to hear that. You are a pretty great date." Kenny says with Skara blushing harder as he wears a long-sleeved high-collared orange jacket with a hood, a pair of black sunglasses, an orange scarf wrapped around his neck as it covers the lower half of his face, a long-sleeved high-collared white shirt underneath, an orange bowtie, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long orange pants, and a pair of black shoes.
"You know, you look beautiful in that dress," Viney says with a seductive tone while dancing around with Sapphire as she wears a strapless and sleeveless dark reddish-pink dress that reaches down to her legs and a pair of dark reddish-pink high-heel shoes.
"I was about to say the same thing," Sapphire says with a flirtatious wink while wearing a strapless large golden poofy dress, a pair of elbow-length golden gloves, and a pair of golden high-heeled shoes.
"Are you okay, Eda?" Volatus asked while wearing a black bowtie as he was wrapped around Eda's shoulders like a cape, and said person was sitting in the bleachers with Shepard to supervise the Grom Night. "Is this about Luz and Charles?"
"Of course it is. I'm going to have to save Luz and Charles from a nightmare monster. Ugh, so much for Mama's fun night out." Eda says with an annoyed huff as a nostalgic Shepard smiles softly.
"Ah, Grom Night, so many good memories. I remember taking Lilith to Grom, fighting against Gromethus and winning."
"Yeah, I had good memories too. Fiorella and I couldn't get dates for the dance, so we went with each other and had tons of fun~," Eda says with a sultry tone as Shepard gives her an incredulous look. "Oh, please, don't try and act as if it's not hot seeing Fiorella and I fuck each other."
"...No comment." A blushing Shepard says as Eda laughs just as Gus appears on the stage with a spotlight shining down on him as he has a microphone, and is wearing a long-sleeved high-collared aquamarine jacket with a long-sleeved high-collared shirt underneath, a dark blue bow tie, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long aquamarine pants, and a pair of brown shoes.
"Ladies, gentlemen, and assorted demons! It's almost time for our Main Grom Event! Please, please, take a seat, and be aware that the first three rows are designated splash zones!" Gus says while gesturing over at the first row, which had one person sitting on it while wearing a raincoat and opening an umbrella as the students cheered loudly.
"Wow, Gus is really good at this," King says while standing near the stage with Queen as she nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, they're hanging on his every word."
"I see we've got Principal Bump in the house! Now, sir, I hope you won't throw us in detention because, uh, we're going to raise the roof!" Gus says as the spotlight goes onto Principal Bump, who is sitting in the bleachers as he makes a raising-the-roof motion with his hands and smiles as the students cheer loudly.
"Whoo, I, uh, hope my material's up to snuff. What do you think will go better with the youths, close-up magic or impressions?"
"Neither, King. Teenagers are brutal. They'll boo anyone, and that kind of public humiliation can stick with you for life." Queen says wisely as King flinches in fear, and we then cue over to the doorway as we see a nervous Amity stepping out of the gym and looking around as she then glances down at her note from this morning and gently smooths it out with her thumb as Amity's Shadow rose up from the ground and patted her on the back, making Amity feel better as the Witch wore a black vest with a long poofy-sleeved dark pink dress that reaches down to her legs, and a pair of black high-heel shoes as her Shadow wore a similar outfit.
"I'm not sure if it's nerves or if I accidentally drank some milk, but something's making my stomach squirm," Luz says with an awkward and nervous laugh while she and Charles appear on the scene as Amity quickly pockets the note and blushes heavily at the sight of their attire as Luz has her dark brown hair styled back and wears a long-sleeved high-collared opened black jacket with a long-sleeved high-collared white shirt underneath, a pink tutu, long blue pants, and a pair of ankle-high brown boots.
"Uh, you look nice, Luz. Strange, but.. nice, and you look quite...handsome, Charles." Amity admitted as Charles was wearing a long-sleeved high-collared white jacket with a long-sleeved high-collared black shirt underneath, a red tie, a black belt with a silver belt buckle, long white pants, and a pair of black shoes.
"Thanks, you look quite beautiful," Luz said with a blush as Amity blushed as well and smiled shyly as she then gave them a serious look.
"Thank you, and thanks for doing this for me. Honestly, I'm kind of amazed at how fearless you two are. You two have done things I could never do."
"Hey, now, cut yourself some slack. You are pretty brave too." Charles says while wrapping his arm around her shoulders as Luz went over to hug her.
"Yeah, you are stronger than you think. You are our rival and friend after all." Luz says with a wink as Amity blushed harder and smiled at them warmly as the trio stared into each other's eyes and slowly leaned forward as they were about to close their eyes and share a threeway kiss, but then-
"Now, introducing our Grom King and Queen! You know them, you love them, they saved the school once, Luz and Charles the Humans!" Gus says while pointing over at the lovebirds as the spotlights shined down on them and Amity, who quickly separated from each other as they blushed heavily and step forward as the pedestal with the red button skitters onto the stage, and Gus presses it as the floor opens to reveal the Grom arena and Skara and Kenny could be seen making out with each other passionately and had their hands roaming across each other's bodies as they realized what was going on and quickly rip off their formal clothing to reveal their Grom Jerseys as they cheered loudly and the weapon racks rise up on either side of them as the Witch and Warlock ignored them as Luz pulled out her Dawnguard Shield and Charles pulled out his Steelbite Sword as they shared a nod and ventures into the arena as Grom rises.
"Alright, let's do this." A glaring Charles says as the Grom transforms into a giant rat that wore a New York Tourist Merchandise. "Call me the Exterminator because I'm gonna exterminate this bitch!" Charles says while tracing two white magic spell circles as dual streams of white flames fly over to collide against Grom, causing him to roar in pain as the students cheer loudly.
"And there they go, folks! With Charles using Magic like Warlocks and Witches somehow to keep Grom at bay! And now, to hand things over to my co-emcees: King and Queen!" Gus says while handing the mic over to King as Queen gives him a nod to start first.
"Hel-LO, Hexside! So..." King trailed off as he dropped his cards, and the microphone feedback screeches as he tugged at his collar. "Oh, oh gosh. Um...whoo. Wow, these lights are warm. Observe...Charlies and Luz are um...down there, all right, and, uh, yes, they are. There they go. Folks, they are battling the thing, and uh..." King says as the crowd begins to boo at him, causing him to throw down the microphone and run offstage, wailing as the Students began pointing and laughing at him mockingly.

The Students of Hexisde laughed loudly as a worried Gus chased after King and Queen stayed behind to take the mic as we cue back to the lovebirds and we see Luz confronting Grom, who shapeshifted himself to resemble Internet Trolls.
"You're not coming from a place of intellectual honesty, so debating you would be pointless!" Luz says while tapping her Ice Gylph and slamming her hand down on the ground to create a sharp shard of ice that pierces the illusion and makes it disappear as the students cheer.
"And now Luz the Human has shown off her creativity and genius once again by tattooing her body with Magic Glyphs in order to be able to use magic without drawing or using her Spell Journal!"
"Great idea again, Luz." Charles complimented as Luz blushed and smiled.
"Thanks, Charles."
"Luz and Charles the Human have lasted surprisingly long, but what form will Grom take next?!" Queen asked as Charles grinned and shared a fist bump with Luz.
"Let's finish this, Luz! Human-Style!" Charles says as Grom rises in front of them, towering over her as an illusion of cursed Eda with glowing eyes creeps towards them as some kids glance over at Eda, who groans and hides in her hair as Volatus and Shepard pat her back to comfort her as the illusion reaches out to Luz and Charles's heads and makes their eyes glow blue as Grom then morphs into the portal door and the door opens as Camila and a shadowy woman steps out.
"Mija?" Grom-Camila asked as Luz looked on, shocked.
"Mom! What are you doing here?!"
"Son?"
"M-Mom?" A bewildered and stunned Charles asked as Grom-Shadowy Woman looked around, and Grom-Camila did the same as she gave her Daughter a worried look.
"Luz, what is this terrible place? Espérate un momento, this isn't camp. Have you been here, all these weeks? And are those tattoos?" A surprised and horrified Grom-Camila asked as Luz flinched worriedly and raised her hands.
"I can explain!"
"You will never know who I am, you know." Grom-Shadowy Woman says to Charles, who trembled as he and Luz dropped their weapons. "Your Uncle refused to tell you the truth, so you will grow up forever not knowing who your Mother truly is." Grom-Shadowy Woman says as she and Camila then fuse together to morph into Grom and tower over the terrified and trembling Kids as it has Camila and Shadowy Woman's faces fuse into one with glowing white malicious eyes. "Mija, have you been lying to me?!/You will never have a mother!" Grom-Shadow Camila exclaimed with a demonic tone as Luz and Charles's faces paled with looks of aghast and fear in their eyes as we cue back to the hallway, and we see Gus walking over to King, who is sitting in front of the lockers, looking down as he had a somber frown.
"What's going on, little dude?"
"Nothing! Leave me be!"
"The thing is, you're sitting in my personal chit-chat zone, which means you gotta talk," Gus says with a soft smile as he goes over to sit down next to King.
"Well if that's the rule...oh, how can this be? I get stage fright! Me! The King of Demons!"
"Well, sometimes, you just have to-,"
"I know, I know. Imagine everyone in their underwear." King says dismissively as a disgusted and blushing Gus winced.
"Gross! Why would you do that?!"
"I dunno. I always do that. Ha, ha, ha, I am a little weirdo."
"No, King. Sometimes you just have to face your fear, like Luz and Charles are doing right now." Gus says just as the doors burst open as a panicking Charles and Luz run out of the gym.
"We can't do it! We can't face our fears!"
"Why are you running, kids?!" Grom-Shadow Camila asked while chasing after the lovebirds as Principal Bump and the others emerged out of the gym.
"Grom has escaped! Oh man, who knew that relying on inexperienced children to fight against a shapeshifting monster that can read your minds to turn into your worst fears was such a bad idea?!" Principal Bump asked in distress and worry as Queen appeared and went over to hold out her mic to King.
"King, now's your chance," Queen asked as King nervously grabbed it and took a deep breath as he turned to the crowd.
"Well, folks, looks like our show literally just took off!" King says as everyone looked at him, confused. "Weh?"
"You gotta pander," Gus whispered as King nodded.
"Uh, took off just like your local sports team would take off when they're about to make a goal?" King asked as the kids cheered.
"Yeah, sports team! Sports team! Oh, yeah! I love our team!"
"Yeah, that's right, so let's follow them and see what happens next!" King says as Gus takes him and Queen in his arms as they lead out the crowd, and Volatus flies onto the scene while carrying around Amity, Eda, and Shepard as they share a determined look and nod as they fly into the hallway, and we fast forward in time as we see Charles and Luz running away as Grom-Shadow Camila follows close behind.
"Are you afraid of finding out if I'm a bad person or not, Charles?!"
"Leave us alone!"
"Why can't you face me, Luz?! Why can't you face your own mother?!"
"I don't wanna be Grom Queen anymore! I give up the throne!" Luz screamed with teary eyes as she and Charles came up to a cliff and stopped just before falling off. "You're not really my mom or Charles's Mom so just go away!"
"How could you say that, cariño?! You're breaking my heart! And don't you want to find out who I am, Son?!" Grom-Shadow Camila asked just as the others appeared as they flew over to jump off Volatus and landed on the ground to strike heroic poses as the Magic Carpet flew over to wrap around Charles's neck.
"Hands off my Humans, you misshapen excuse for a monster!" Eda says with a glare as Grom roars.
"Eda! You and Shepard are right! We're not ready!" Luz screamed while hugging Charles as Shepard gave them a reassuring look.
"That's okay, we got this one," Shepard says as he and Eda are about to cast their spells but stop as Amity steps forward and holds out her arms.
"Stay away from them!" Amity screamed determinedly with her Shadow rising behind her and growled threateningly as Grom-Shadow Camila growled and reached out an inky arm towards the Witch, lifting her high above the ground as she gave the shocked lovebirds a guilty look. "I'm sorry, guys. I should have fought my own battle." Amity says just as Grom-Shadow Camila's eyes glow blue, reading Amity's mind as Charles and Luz flinched worriedly.
"Amity! No, your fear!" Luz yelled as Grom-Shadow Camila grew, turning more and more blob-like, and finally, it shrunk and morphed into a pair of humanoid bodies as Amity's eyes stopped glowing, and Grom reached over to take the pink note from her pocket as she ripped it in half, letting it fall to the ground as the Witch closes her eyes, embarrassed, clutching her dress as Grom slinks away and Amity picks up one half of the note from the ground and holds it to her heart as Luz picks up the other, unfurls it, and reads it as it reads, 'Will you go to Grom with me? -Amity'. "You were afraid of getting rejected."
"Hey, Amity, you don't have to worry about getting rejected and embarrassed if no one wants to go to Grom with you because I would be happy to take you to Grom," Charles said with a warm smile as Luz nodded and went over to take her hand.
"And I would love to go to Grom with you as well."
"R-Really?" A surprised Amity asked with a blush as Charles went over to grab her other hand.
"Yeah, we would, and hey, not many people can say that they can go to Grom with two hot ladies," Charles says with a flirty tone as Amity and Luz blushed heavily just as the Grom rises and towers above them as it roared menacingly from its huge jaws.
Flying up into the air with the help of Volatus and raising his arms, Charles traced two white magic spell circles to manipulate the shadows to spawn out multiple buzzsaw-shaped shadow constructs and zoomed them over to slash through Grom's body, causing it to roar in pain as Luz pressed her Magic Light Gylph Tattoo and raised her glowing yellow hands to fire multiple ball-shaped yellow light energy balls that flew over to collide against Grom's body, hurting it long enough for Amity and Eda to trace two big pink/yellow magic spell circles as they fired dual streams of pink/yellow flames that collided against Grom's body to injure it and Shepard raised his arms as dark purple magical light began covering his body and slowly transformed into his King Ghidorah Form as he fired a big burst of purple electricity that flew over to collide against Grom's body.
Flying forward, Charles traced two white magic spell circles and had them wash over his body as he used his Construction Spell to fly over and threw a powerful punch across Grom's body, creating a big hole in it as it roared loudly and tried to attack him, only for Luz to press her Magic Protection Gylph Tattoo as she raised her arms and created a big golden energy forcefield in front of him to protect her crush from the attack as Eda and Shepard worked together to fire a combined blast of yellow and purple energy/electricity that collided against Grom's body to hurt it as a glaring Amity traced a big pink magic spell circle and summoned a bunch of pink plant thorny vines that flew up to slash apart Grom's body repeatedly.
After having Volatus unwrap himself from his body, Charles fell down while tracing two magic white spell circles to fire dual streams of white water as he used it to splash against Grom's body to send it flying back and Luz pressed her Magic Ice Glyph Tattoo to slam her hand into the ground to summon a bunch of ice spikes that pierced through Grom's body, and Amity, Eda, and Shepard traced a big pink, yellow, and purple magic spell circle to fire a big combined blast of pink energy, yellow lightning, and purple plasma that flew over to collide against Grom's body and a huge explosion occurred that seemingly killed it as everyone cheered loudly and shared high fives, but then flinched in surprise when Grom fully reformed himself and stretched its inky arms over to latch onto Charles and Amity while raising them up high into the air as Luz gasped in fear at the sight of her crushes being captured by Grom before she gave out an animalistic growl that shocked Charles and Amity as her eyes became golden with black scleras, and a pair of white fangs shot out as she began subconsciously absorbing the magic out of Grom.
"Whoa!" Charles says as Luz snarls angrily.
"Let them go!" Luz shouted before she started rushing forward with shocking speed and leaped up to grab Charles and Amity while yanking them out of Grom's grip as she landed on the ground and placed her crushes down on the ground. "Are you two okay?" Luz asked as Charles stared at her in admiration, and Amity blushed heavily as she nodded shyly. "Good, now let's end this," Luz says with a determined tone as she then holds out her hands. "Shall I have this dance~?" Luz asked as Charles and Amity blushed and grinned while grabbing his hands.
