Song
Soon enough, it was nighttime and everyone had gone to sleep. Thanks to Jinny, they all have a place to sleep for the night. Another night to be precise.
"So," Kaz said, "Now I'm all set. Starting to tomorrow." "Yes," Spiritstrike said in response. "All right, everyone," Jinny said, "Let's all settle down now. We know what's going to happen now." Everyone, including Clipper agreed.
As so, it became nighttime and by now, everyone had gone to sleep. It was a quiet night for most of the time. Later, in the middle of the night, however, Skylar couldn't get any sleep. "Man," he groaned quietly, "Sorry, Clipper. I couldn't help myself. Don't know what's gotten into me. That's all right."
The little plane was still sound asleep. "I'll try something else," Skylar said to himself, "Sounds quiet outside. True."
So he decided to go outside. Carefully, Skylar opened the garage door, without making a sound, and drove out to somewhere.
As it is in the middle of the night, it is pitch black. "Maybe I could think for a while," Skylar thought. Skylar turned on his headlights and quietly moved on.
He thought he was alone until he heard a familiar sound. It is some kind of a song. Immediately, Skylar recognized it. "That song," Skylar said to himself, "I've heard it on the ship. And now I'm hearing it again. It was difficult on the ship, but now, I can hear it clearly."
Skylar immediately found that the beautiful song was coming from Jinny, in a tone of melodic humming. "Wow," Skylar thought as Jinny continued on humming this song.
A minute later, Jinny stopped when she noticed that Skylar is watching her. "Jinny?" Skylar said quietly. "Oh, hey, Skylar?" Jinny replied, confused, "What are you doing in here? I thought you were sleeping." "Restless night," Skylar answered meekly, "You know how it is." "Understood," Jinny replied.
"That song was beautiful," Skylar said, "It was you that I heard on the ship." "Oh," Jinny replied, "You like it?" "Yes," Skylar answered, "How can-?" "Okay," Jinny said in response, "My mother taught me that a long time ago. I sing it whenever I feel like it. As a positive energy."
"Then you sung it from your heart," Skylar told Jinny. "You're right," Jinny said, agreeing with Skylar. "And I was thinking more about what my grandfather was telling me," Skylar said "Whenever I hear that song of yours." "Yes," Jinny agreed.
"I don't know If I can try it myself," Skylar said, "And I am restless, so maybe-" "You can stay out here with me for now," Jinny said, offering Skylar.
"Thanks," Skylar said, and he parked himself next to Jinny. Both cars stared out into the moonless night. To them it is a beautiful sight.
"Everything is beautiful," Jinny said. "Yes," Skylar agreed. After a few minutes, the two finally began to grow sleepy. "Grandfather is right," Skylar said, "I have to go on my own journey. And I am." "Yes," Jinny agreed.
"And we can do it," Skylar said, "But now right now." "Now you are sleepy," Jinny chuckled, "So am I." "Yes," Skylar agreed.
After that, they both had gone back to their berths. They said 'good night' to each other and fell asleep in their own berths. "Now," Skylar said, "Maybe I can get some sleep. I'll try. And at least I didn't wake Clipper up."
Of course, Skylar didn't wake the sleeping plane.
Meanwhile, Jinny had returned to her room as well. "Sounds like Skylar' grandfathers is a nice and wise car," she thought.
