Lila made sure to have all the luck before leaving the tower to get supplies for herself. Marinette never mentioned her birthday coming soon since it upsets her 'mother' which makes her think she's being a bad daughter to her.
"Maybe I'm getting too curious, Tikki" Marinette said to her gecko and Tikki tilted her head slightly.
"Mother always tells me the outside is cruel. So far, she always leaves and comes back unharmed" Marinette said.
Tikki flicks her tongue while staring at Marinette.
"What am I gonna do?" Marinette wondered.

The thief managed to get away from the guards and hid in a secret place for thieves he called it his own kingdom of thieves and was the prince of thieves.
"This was too easy" He took out the stolen tiara.
"You almost led them to our secret sanctuary, thief" The bandit glared.
"Just to be clear, I move in the shadows. And secondly, I never been caught yet" Cat Noir said before gesturing his hand for the apple.
"You're still as clumsy as ever," The bandit said before handing him an apple.
"Clumsy? No, I'm just carrying bad luck" Cat Noir said.
"When we found you as an orphaned child, we took you in and raised you in hopes of becoming the new thief, it was clear to all of us like God sent us a gift," The bandit said.
"Then God has a reason to let me live as a thief," Cat Noir said before walking to the horse stables to find a perfect horse to ride with.
"Hmmm…. let's see. Pegasus, nope. Plagg, yes!" He found a black horse.
"No one has ever ridden him. They say he's a nightmarish horse" The owner of the horses said.
"Let's test that theory, shall we?" Cat Noir pets Plagg.
The horse simply flinched and grunted between his neighs.
"Easy boy. I'm Adrien but everyone calls me Cat Noir. Would you honor me by riding you?" Cat Noir said.
Plagg just nodded in response but he expects more snacks to be given once he does everything for his rider.
"Here you go" Cat Noir gave him his apple.
Plagg felt satisfied to have a rider he could trust since his previous riders would complain too much. So Noir saddled him up and got on him. Despite wearing a mask to hide his identity, he is ready to take on the guards with his cunning instincts while riding the horse.

Marinette was bored and Lila simply taught her to paint a portrait. So she came up with one from her imagination. She painted the lanterns released every time on her birthday. And then from her dream of a magic ladybug, the symbol of luck.
"What do you have?" Lila asked.
Marinette then shows the portrait, "How do you like it?" Marinette asked.
"Very improved but still needs work," Lila said
It made Marinette feel upset about that when she tried her best and did not need to feel criticized.
"I only did my best," Marinette said.
"Practice makes perfect. And there's no such thing as magic ladybugs, just bugs" Lila said with no taste in imagination.
"Mother Lila, I'm almost 18. Perhaps I should look out there and find inspiration" Marinette suggested.
"And risk getting kidnapped?" Lila replied.
"No one would recognize me as a little girl. It's been years" Marinette said.
"I told you no!" Lila refused.
This made Marinette cross, "Every year and I still wish to see the outside world! I've never been outside!" Marinette ranted.
"The decision is final!" Lila argued back.
"You're unbelievable you know that?!" Marinette snapped.
"As a mother, I am doing this to protect you," Lila said.
"But I'm not a little girl anymore," Marinette said.
"Of course you're not," Lila said.
"So I can protect myself," Marinette said.
"Marinette, the world today is cruel. Whether you like it or not, I'm doing this to keep you safe like a good mother I am. If anything happened to you, I wouldn't forgive myself" Lila manipulated her trust.
"Fine then" Marinette gave up.
"Now I'll get going getting supplies. I won't be long but please remain here" Lila said.
"Okay," Marinette sighs.
She sang the song to let her hair grow 30 feet in length for her 'mother' to climb down from. Once down, her hair reduced in length.
"Alone again," Marinette said to Tikki, "But there's always something to do, Tikki"
So she threw her long hair to open a hatch on the ceiling and then glided down to the floor and picked up Tikki to do her chores by sweeping the floor while Tikki helped up the shovel. Then they scrub the floor and sweep everything clean. Once cleaning the room, she goes and reads fairytale stories about a prince and a princess getting their happily ever after. After that, she goes on painting the walls in her style and baked pies and cookies. She at one point stops and sees a colorless wall and decides to paint it as well. It became a portrait of herself watching the lanterns. She also proceeds to do many other activities including brushing her long hair. She still hopes to one day come out of the tower to explore the wonders she's never seen. But at the same time, she feels scared if her 'mother' is right.
"Just one miracle would have done it," She said.

In the woods, the feline was trying to lose the guards while riding his horse.
"He went this way!" They kept chasing him, "Don't lose sight of that horse!"
The feline urged his horse to hide, "Let's surprise them with powder of spice" Cat Noir chuckled and held out his arrow and bow.
The arrow had the spice to sting the opponent's eyes blindly. He fires it at the tree for the powder to burst in their eyes.
"AAAAGH MY EYES!" The knights screamed.
"Muy Caliente" Cat Noir chuckled and continued firing.
"DAMN CAT!" The Captain shouted, "Come out you Devil!"
"Nah, I like being in the shadows! Cross my path and you are cursed with bad luck!" Cat Noir laughed.
The Captain grumbled in anger, "Search the area!" He ordered.
"Bring him alive! Or dead!" The knights continue searching.
Cat Noir hid behind the rocks to not make a sound before knowing they were gone. He peeks up to see if the coast is clear. He sighs in relief they are gone but then notices the wanted flyer of Cat Noir with cat eyes instead of his real human eyes with the mask.
"They got my eyes wrong again" He sighs.
Plagg snickers between his neighs at how amusing this is.
"Good boy" Cat Noir whispered and petted him, "It won't be long until their horses hear us" He got on Plagg before hitting the reins to urge his horse to move. So the two snuck away from the guards.
"My bad luck is doing the job worse for them" He smirked.
Plagg halted since he sensed something wrong until he jumped out of the way from the Royal horses almost ambushing them. Plagg neighed in alarm before kicking the guards one by one before they tried to tackle his rider.
All attempts were futile from the guards, "Return the stolen item, thief!"
"You'll have to catch me first!" Cat Noir taunted, "Faster, Plagg! Hyah!"
Plagg ran even faster through the forest as they were chased.
The captain guard was gaining on him with his horse, "Last chance! Stop your horse and surrender now, Cat Noir!"
"You forget that I'm bad luck and with nine lives!" Cat Noir said, ducking and the tree branch hit the guard off his horse.
"Gotcha!" Cat Noir laughed.
"You're mine now!" The guard tries to catch up.
Cat Noir gasped at the cliff before Plagg tried to stop but skidded across the ground. Both landed on the tree branch but Plagg's weight was making the branch break.
"Uh oh," Cat Noir gasps as the branch breaks completely.
