"What was that noise i heard coming from your room last night?" makoto asked as i having some breakfast.
"Sorry…i was playing an online game too loud and got excited when i finished a raid." i said. It seems like everyone bought it.
"Was the game before or after intercourse?" aigis asked. Mine and yukari faces went red…god dammit…i got sold out by a toaster! Oh i can already hear the teasing from junpei…but that's the least of my worries…
"Shi…takeba…you both realized you broke the biggest rule of this dorm right?" mitsuru said with her voice filled with murderous intention…can she let me write my will before she kills us? To my relief. Dad stopped her before she could execute us. I was relieved but mine and yukaris' faces went red when he congratulated me becoming a man and her becoming a woman. I looked at aigis with murderous intent…i was so hitting her with a zio when we went to tartarus again. In any case..i hung out with miki today. I showed her the ramen place that shinjiro frequents.
"So how are things at gekkoukan?" I asked.
"Things are going great! I even made a few friends outside of S.E.E.S…though a lot of girls wanted to friend me…but it was obvious they wanted to use me to get closer to aki and didn't care about me…some even tried to bully me. But they backed off pretty quickly when aki showed up…i'm pretty sure they peed a little from aki's death stare." miki giggled as she said that. I laughed.
"Yeah…how has that been, reuniting with your actual brother and shinjiro?" i asked.
"We may not be related by blood skell…but you're still my brother since the day your dad took me away from the orphanage…i just wish i found aki and shinji much earlier, to let them know i'm alive. I heard from Mitsuru of the lanks he went through to get stronger so that what happened at the orphanage won't happen again…even if he knows I'm alive. He's still hell bent on getting stronger…I worry that when someone needs saving…he's going to be blind to what truly matters." miki said with a look of worry in her eyes.
"Heh…and that's why me makoto and kotone are the leaders…remember what i used to say alot when you talked about sacrifice?" i asked.
"If one person would mourn at your grave…then you owe it to them to keep living." miki said. I nodded.
"It's obvious you would mourn if either of those meat heads bit it…so i'll make sure they don't…don't worry. I'll watch out for them and pull them in if they get too reckless with their lives. That's a promise." i said with a smile. After finishing our ramen i paid for it. And before we left. Miki hugged me.
"Thanks big bro!" miki said with a smile. The voice in my head returned.
"I am thou..thou art i...thou has rekindled an old bond...with the power of adjustment by your side. The power to change fate will be closer to your grasp."

After that, We returned to the dorm. Miki sat on the couch and watched a movie with shinjiro and akihiko. I went to bed…no reason to get involved with that. This is between them. A moment for lost siblings reunited at last.
August 18th-september 1st.
The end of summer was approaching…so i decided to spend the last of it with movies…the film festival went on these days. So with nothing else to do. I would go with whoever at the dorm was free that day. Though during my movie binge. I noticed a few things…like when i went ot the festival on my own. I noticed junperi chatting with a red haired girl wearing a white dress….she was that girl with those two other punks. She seems like she doesn't remember the dark hour…but i'll keep my guard up just in case. If she tries anything. My knife will be in her eye. One day when i went to grab a bite i overheard an argument between akihiko and shinjiro. About how shinjiro is only back in S.E.E.S just to get back at me. And that he wants to forget that night…did everything i say go in one ear and out the other with him? I also noticed I wasn't the only eavesdropping on this conversation…ken was also eavesdropping. And shortly after..he officially becomes a part of the team ...remember skell. october 4th…the day of disaster.
September 2nd-september 4th.
I hung out with shinjiro and akihiko getting both to rank 4. At night. I decided to hit tartarus. After all the full moon is this week. So i figured it would be best to get the rookies up to par. But before that…
"White rider! Zio!" i yelled. As i summoned him and hit aigis with it. Knocking her down. "That was for almost getting me killed!" i yelled.
"When…did i do that?" aigis asked in pain.
"I think he means when you revealed what he and yukari did to everyone." metis said with a sweat drop.
"You're overreacting…i would have punished you if not for your father…but you'd live." mitsuru said. I could see the scared look on akihiko and shinjiro's faces that what she had in mind would have made me wish for death. After some payback on the toaster. I got to work getting miki and ken up to par with the rest of us.
Ken's persona nemesis was the reverse of cerberus. Light electric and pierce with some healing on the way as well. Miki's persona helen. Well it reminded me of angewoman from digimon. But armed with a spartan sword. As for skills. It seems to be the reverse of her brothers skills. Slash. Light and wind. And with a bit of healing skills on top of that. In any case…the last few days was spent splatting shadows to get ready for the next big moon shadow.
September 5th. Evening.
"You ready junpei?" i asked as we walked towards the dorm.
"Yeah…i'm getting fired up!" junpei yelled.
"Don't move.." i heard a girl said only for everything to turn black. I woke up to the big green moon in the sky…my arms were tied up. With the red haired bitch in the white dress.
"I want you to do something for me skell shi…i have orders for you to pass along to your team."
"And why would i do that you damn doll?" i asked. She put her hatchet to my neck.
"If you don't i'll kill you…call off the operation…not just this one. All of them." the red haired girl said. While she was talking. I managed to pull out the knife from my back pocket and start cutting my binds.
"You have an axe to my neck. But even then. I feel no fear…all i feel is pity for you…and and your two buddies…because this is all you have…the dark hour is the only thing that makes you three feel something…you refuse to let it go. Even when your facing an enemy you can't win…even when the power that lets you walk freely in the dark hour is waiting for the pills to wear off so it can snap your neck. You still refuse to let go because this is all you have…and that is just fucking sad. A trio of sad pathetic losers…that's all you are. You can put an axe to my neck. It doesn't change the fact how empty and miserable you are. Just an forgotten lab rat." i said she pushed the axe further. Breaking the skin on my neck. A small bit of blood going down.
"Chidori don't!" junpei yelled. Trying to reason with her. She looked over to where paulownia mall was…that's where the shadow was.
"It looks like they completed their operation." chidori said.
"I'll admit. For an artificial persona. It's got some neat tricks. Not only did it managed to make you slip under the radar. But you're also able to be a radar."
"That would be thanks to medea…my friend." chidori said. I laughed.
"A friend who tries to choke the life out of you the second those suppressants wear off…more proof of how much of a miserable empty lab rat left to die you are." i said. Chidori gave me a look of disgust…maybe anger? Hard to tell with these strega freaks.
"Why didn't you call off the mission? Dying is what people are afraid of the most is it not?" chidori asked.
"True…i fear death but not for the reason you think…what i fear is all the people i'll leave behind. Their hearts filled with grief. Wishing they could have done something for me when they had the chance." i said.
"So why do you still resist?" chidori asked. I smiled.
"This is why!" I said as I finally got myself free. I stabbed her in the leg. She reached for evoker but i pushed her to the ground and held down her arm with my leg before giving her a swift punch to the face knocking her out cold. I untied junpei next who ran over to the unconscious girl.
"Did you really have to be so rough with her? All those things you said too…" junpei said. Clearly he wasn't happy with all the things i said to her. I rolled my eyes at this.
"It's the truth junpei. She tried to hold us hostage in order to prevent us from ridding the world of the dark hour….it shows that just like her two buddies. She has nothing in her life. Nothing to look forward too. No reason to smile. Just this. Punishing people for the highest bidder even if they don't deserve it in a consequence free environment. A sad empty existence where this cursed hour and a power that tries to kill her is the only thing to look forward too…but if you really care for her. Try to change that. Give her a reason to live. A reason to smile." i said. Junpei looked at me and back to chidori he nodded. Everyone else soon arrived.
"Are you alright skell!?" yukari yelled.
"I'm fine…one of those strega idiots caught me and junpei when our pants was down…can't believe that nihilistic bitch get the drop on me…we can patch up her wounds and interrogate her at the hospital…she's no good to anyone if she bleeds out and dies." i said. Chidori was dragged to the hospital. The operation was a success. But junpei was pretty distraught over this...maybe there's hope for chidori…it's obvious junpei would cry at her grave.
