Life continued to go on. I let myself get comfortable and thought I was safe and secure again.
Lucas did all he could possibly do. To protect our family.
It had been quiet for weeks. We met Asher's girlfriend. Sam Walker.
Things were starting to improve with Beatrice at school.
All three of our kids. Were doing well.
Me and Lucas were going away. It was our wedding anniversary.
(My suitcase is packed. I cannot wait to celebrate our love)

Brooke and Lucas said their goodbyes. And made sure their children knew. They could reach out to their parents anytime throughout their three days away.
Lucas packed their suitcases. Brooke took control of the car radio.
Eventually they stopped for gas and to buy snacks and drinks.
After a few hours of driving. They arrived at their cabin.
Lucas brought their luggage inside.
Brooke smiled happily. (I've never been more in love with you.) She proclaimed.
