The New School Year Begins Part 1
It was the first day of the new school year at Coolsville Junior High.
Daphne Blake emerged from her family's limousine sporting a brand new pair of headphones and carrying her new cassette player.
Daphne was listening to her new Buddy Chillner tape.
When she was greeted by her best friend, Velma Dinkley.
"Hi, Daph." Velma said.
"Hi, Velma," Daphne greeted back, stopping her tape and putting her headphones and cassette player in her locker. "are you going to class?"
"I certainly am!" Velma answered Daphne.
"What class do you have?" Daphne asked Velma.
"I have geometry in Mister Johnston's class with Fred and Shaggy." Velma answered Daphne.
"Same here." Daphne said.
"Let's go then." Velma said.
Daphne and Velma went into the geometry classroom.
In between classes, Daphne was getting her history book from her locker.
When she heard a girl scream from a different direction.
Daphne raced over to the girl's locker.
"It's gone! I've been robbed!" the girl exclaimed.
"What's wrong, Emmaline," Daphne asked. "what's gone?"
"My new leather jacket! It was in my locker, and now it's gone!" Emmaline Gibson answered Daphne.
"Don't worry, Emmaline," Daphne said. "my friends and I are good detectives, we will get to the bottom of this!"
"Thank you, Daphne." Emmaline said.
After school let out for the day, Daphne called a meeting of the Scooby Doo Detective Agency.
"Like, you said that Emmaline's new leather jacket was stolen?" Shaggy asked Daphne.
"That's what she told me," Daphne answered Shaggy. "right from her locker."
"Well, crew," Fred said. "it looks like we're up to our necks in another mystery."
