Felix sat on his bed, it is a dark red, the bedpost white, his rug dark red. He looked at the miraculous in his hand…this is it…he can do what he wanted, remembering when he had snatched it from Gabriel just days before he had to come back home. He laid down on his bed, the golden miraculous shining in his hands. He tilted it to the left and right, soon he could do his plan and he would free Adrien and make sure that there was no one to control him…far from the control of others, finally. He could be free!.

He took a breath and put on the miraculous underneath his tie, he put his hands to his sides and saw a little blue creature flying out. "Nathalie?! Where are you?!, where-?! Oh hello! Are you my new holder?", he smirked, "'Holder'?...yes I am, what is your name?". "Duusu!" He chuckled "Duusu?...nice name, so tell me…what can your miraculous do?" he sits up leaning his elbows on his knees cheeks in his hands smirking "More importantly. How do I power up the miraculous and use it in effective ways?", Duusu chuckled a bit shocked "Oh that is a lot of questions I will do my best to answer!. You can create senti-monsters, the power ups means you need to have the Grimoire but only guardians can read it meaning you would need a translation of stronger the emotions you use means you can be more effective, you also should be more tactical with this one. This one is powerful for sure but it can also be um well emotions are pretty wild so it could be wild you know?".

He nodded thoughtfully "Okay…so how do I find the translated version?" Duusu looked at him nervously "Well I saw Master Fu using a tablet with the translated version once…but I am not sure where it is now", Felix stayed silent thinking before stating "So it is in Paris?" Duusu nodded. "Then I think I know who would have it", of course his uncle would have it. Of course, "Wha-what do you plan to do with the miraculous?". Felix stood up walking to his window examining the rain thundering down, if he does this then he has to first see how high this building is and also figure out how he would go there…he would have to do some things that might get him caught by his mother but this was important he had to do this, "Set him free-" he searched his room with his eyes seeing what he could use "free from the control of others, from Gabriel and everyone else who dares control him…and me" he walked to the left crouching down, checking it to see if there was anything but figured a ladder would do. So he went outside his room to Ameilie "Mother" she looked at him "What is it Felix?".

He smiled "Do you have a ladder?" she nodded "But what is it for this time?", he shrugged "I have to reach something that is high up". She nodded and brought it to him "Okay but do you want me to help you" Felix shook his head, Ameilie nodded "I will be close by if you need me" he took it saying "Thank you, mother". "You're welcome". Felix turned around going to his room but stopped "I love you", he looked over his shoulder saying "I love you too". He went inside and closed the door.

He hummed to himself, opening the window and stretching it across from his window to the other building. He glanced down to see how far it is…he should be able to use this to go across it all he had to do was make sure it is properly attached. He placed his left hand under his chin. "I know what to do" he went over and started tying heavy objects in his room together and tucked the ladder's end on it, now for the other one, he did the same to the other side. "Felix, is this safe?" he smirked glancing at Duusu "Oh I am not a hundred percent sure but it will work", Duusu looked curiously, Felix walked to his bed and placed a dummy on it. This should fool his mother for sometime until he has time to make it to Paris.

He stepped closer to the window, the rain splattering on him and the windowsill he huffs getting rid of the raindrop that had landed on his nose, he heard the thundering rain right then as if a struck of lightning he felt something…this powerful beautiful thundering heart, full of determination, spirit, confident and resilient. The type that doesn't let others control them, not spineless at all as powerful and strong as the thundering winds, the pouring rain and electric flashes of light.

Felix looked down at his feet in shock and admiration for whoever they were, whispering almost breathlessly to himself "Whoever they are they are impressive. I can tell, I need to see them…but where are they? Hold on" he closed his eyes and concentrated on the feeling of the person, how they are, they felt distant. They weren't here, that was obvious, he kept on focusing on the feeling of the person, it was as if he could touch them. He would know when he got to Paris, he got ready for his transformation "Duusu spread my feathers!" a flash of dark blue and light green.

It enveloped him and once it was gone he stood there with a dark blue jacket with a hood, mint green hair, emerald green eyes, lavender skin, shirt that is light purple with two dark green feathers parting from the middle one facing left and one facing right. Dark purple pants with light green outlining it, the rim of his pant legs swooping behind him from near his knee, boots above his ankle and black. He took his fan in his hand and snickered, stepping softly on the ladder as soft as a ballerina gracefully swimming across the stage. He had thrown a bag over the building already that he will carry on his back.

He did a hop to see how agile he is and if he would be able to land on the ladder again, seeing that he could, he leapt across it a bit more confidently. He landed on the other side and turned to the right, his eyes scanning around the large wide park in the middle, the London eye far away and Elizabeth Tower standing tall and magnificent, others usually simply call it "Big Ben" despite that being the bell not the tower. He preferred calling things by their correct names, he ran to the edge of the building and leapt gracefully over stumbling. Felix kept on leaping across buildings doing some twirls and spins while at it, nearly falling down or off the building but catching himself as always.

He softly smiled, hearing the patterning of the rain, the plastic of the umbrellas meeting the rain, the ticking of Elizabeth Tower, laughter and chattering in the far off distance. The wind whistling harder now, the cold rain falling on him, he shook his head the hood falling off and he leapt across another building laughing, cold puffs of breaths coming from his mouth wispy as if magic, he did stumble but he didn't mind, it felt so relieving, so freeing…he could be who he was, under the mask as Argos he could enjoy the joy and comfort he yearned for so much, he felt the droplets falling off his face, the cold air sending chills down his spine and over his body, he didn't mind at all. The splashing of his shoes against the rain, he paused briefly on the building he had made it to the Elizabeth Tower…he smirked "Let's see how well I do" he did a quick twirl and leapt off the edge of the building nearly slipping once he made it, he stumbled on the side of Elizabeth Tower and he walked about carefully. He admired the sight of London breathless by the sight, he wiped his face with his right hand "Wow". He stood there for a few seconds, before leaping on another building rolling on the roof, he sat crisscrossed admiring London, the hood back on while he wiped the remaining water off.

This was the London he knew, the London he loved he would miss it but it was worth it, seeing all the beautiful lights shimmering across the city making its way through windows where they lights would waver, because of the rain. He closed his eyes, taking in a breath letting out his breath after a few seconds. He hummed softly listening to the sounds chiming in harmony, bringing comfort and a sense of love to his heart and emotions. 'This is where I belong and don't I forget that', he was right he shouldn't and won't. This was where he belonged no matter what, he was raised here and so here he will remain after he is done he will come back here where he proudly calls home and stay here for the rest of his life.

It would be a great life, he just had to do this one task…'One simple task and then I will return to my mother, my home, my pride and where my joy lives…this is the life I want…one task can't change it' he was determined to never forget where he belongs. So what if Paris is great? He doesn't belong there and never would, he sat there with the lights shimmering across his back.

-Years before at the Fathom residence-

Felix watched the sun peeking through the dark grey clouds, his arms crossed on the windowsill while he gently bounced up and down. A wide smile on his face, Amelie smiled watching Felix she softly cooed to her son "Are you enjoying the view Felix?" he looked over his shoulder Amelie stared at the five year old "Yes mother!" his voice nearly squealed. She chuckled gently like a soft breeze staring at him with soft eyes, her head lolled to the side a bit "The sun will always shine for you Felix. For you are my precious son and my only son I will love".

He grinned innocently, oh how so innocently he stared at her. She went to Felix and picked her son rocking him side to side while he latched onto her, legs wrapped around her and arms tightly hugging her neck head nestled on her right shoulder, she sang a lovely tune to him. One he would always remember and love, after a while she settled him down on the windowsill and gently stroked his right cheek "No matter what Felix, the sun comes around. It shines on those that deserve it, and you deserve it all. Remember that, anytime you deserve something the sun will shine. I love you and will make sure the sun always shines for you" he nodded accepting her gentle kiss and caress on his cheek.

"I know mother" his voice sweet and almost melodic, it was the one voice she would wish to hear in the darkest hours, her darkest moments of pain he was the one that brought her out of it. Amelie closed her eyes listening to his gentle voice talking not minding if his mother didn't look, he just wanted to talk to ease whatever pain she was in that he quite didn't understand just yet. He was innocent not stupid, he was childish not ridiculous, no child is stupid or ridiculous. Innocence does not mean stupidity Amelie thought, thinking about Felix her Felix. Her son, the scars she had such as the one on her back or maybe the one nearby her chest, she felt so frightened when the strike nearly struck her chest.

What would she have done if she was gravely injured? Felix needed her and she needed him. He needed protection and it had to be hers, and only hers.

She jumped when she heard the voice, that western accent. "Felix I need you to come with me", her eyes fluttered open she managed to catch that distinct fear in Felix's eyes as he stared at his father but what broke her heart was when his sweet eyes turned to hers seeking the comfort she promised to herself she would give, his eyes wavering. "Get up now!" Felix shyly nodded, getting up his lips quivering, mouthing to her 'Mother please help' she hesitated before turning her head away facing the right wall, her right hand to her mouth. Her eyes brimmed with tears, she couldn't do anything. He was too strong and if her parents heard then her father would be mad and scold her. She had to protect Felix but she would get hurt…would she be selfish or selfless?.

She took a deep breath hearing him drag poor Felix away, 1…the door locked, something would happen she had to make a decision quickly even if a desperate one. She let a deep breath out, 2…he would do it soon. I have to do something she thought, 'He is my son' . It was her son and as a mother it was her duty to protect and defend him-.

Felix stood there cowering in fear, his eyes filled with tears preparing for whatever would happen. Colt walked towards him, his right hand curled in a fist he snarled under his breath "You monster, I have enough of you" next he circled Felix examining the small boy "I may have not harmed you yet but this will be to show you what will happen if you defy me" he got ready to hurt his son, un-balling his fist slowly walking in front of Felix again. He raised his hand with Felix quivering with fear, shaking like he never has before.

Amelie got up her hand to her side and ran towards the door, 3….he would do it, he would hurt her boy! He is not a baby now but he is her son!. She reached the doorknob with her right hand. Her breaths quickened and slammed the door open Colt looked over his shoulder and she dove for Felix taking him in her arms and whirled around on her heels "Don't hurt him! Don't you dare hurt my son!" her voice cracked and she fled, Colt stood there balling his fists before he had to cough he put his right fist to his mouth coughing with blood pouring out mumbling croakily "Damn it!"

-present time-

Argos's breath hitched, remembering that memory. It was pleasant for a moment when his mother had been talking with him but that moment with his father…the fear that had grown uncomfortable in that moment. He hated it, he slowly opened his eyes breathing in slowly he had to go now. For his mother, for Adrien and for himself. He had to free them. He got up and leapt, his father had died but this was to honor his mother and the treatment she endured. The few times she had stood up to his father had ended in harsh blows, he wouldn't allow her to feel more harm and pain any longer.

He leapt down running across the streets of London, the rain had slowed down its thundering but he was certain it would pick up eventually. He went to the underground railroad, he couldn't let himself be seen, he was known as well so he had to keep the Miraculous in use. He had to remain transformed, he handed in the money for a ticket and walked inside, dripping wet and sat down, his bag to his right side. He closed his eyes, taking in deep breaths his head on the headrest, relaxing his body and focusing on his breaths. The way his chest fell and rose, the emotions that had rushed through him while looking around London and running and leaping across the rooftops of London.

He moaned softly, feeling the train come to a stop, he opened his left eye squinting at the light and immediately closed his eye. He noticed that he was dry by now, which was expected. After a second he slowly opened his left eye, blinking a couple of times. Once used to it he opened his right eye and did the same, he stood up and got off at his stop once his eyes were opened and put the bag on his back. Argos walked over to the map of the train station looking for the exit. Once he found it he turned around and made it up, the lights of Paris shining with its brilliance and the Eiffel Tower far away but being tall of course he could see it.

Argos took a deep breath in and out, whispering to himself "I now have to find Adrien if I remember correctly and figure out where I am that is" he looked to the buildings and decided he would take to the rooftops, he raced over to a building and leapt on the balcony climbing up them. He stood on the building looking around to see which direction it had to be, he remembers that Adrien's home was to the left side of the Eiffel tower in front of it. He leapt across buildings, turning a sharp left and leaping down he went across to the left side getting on the building.

As he made his way over there he felt slightly colder here than in London, good thing he packed his the same clothes he would use in London in his bag, he perched himself on a building spotting the manions he smirked "There you are". He now had to find a hotel nearby, he could take the Bourgeois hotel but he would hate seeing Chloe, he sighed sitting down, his legs bent a bit "Now what?". Argos glanced around, he would have to find some way to stay here at Paris, another hotel because there was no way he would stay where Chloe is.

He glanced around, narrowing his eyes, where could he stay? There must be another nice hotel, or…he groaned and got on his back hands on his face unless he stayed with someone else. Ugh but they would be annoying!, he didn't need any inconvenience and they would make a fuss!. All he had to do was do this one plan and then he would go home, any inconvenience would just steer him from his plan.

It would become too long and tedious, and he definitely didn't need to feel deterred besides he is certain he will feel it anyway. He flopped his right arm on the roof-wait if he just finds someone of confidence then he could stay with them. He closed his eyes mentally going over the list of people Adrien was friends with, there was the one that bakes, annoying Chloe, headphone guy, reporter girl and then the rest of the class that Adrien seems to at least know or trust. Squealing petite girl, emo girl, guitar guy, scaredy cat, shy drawing guy, moronic 'funny guy', tomboy, nerdy guy, that robot that was called Markov, it isn't from the class but he found it to be interesting.

Spineless coward, vanilla girl, that was all of them right?. Even though it wasn't their real names despite Adrien telling him their names a million times over the phone he never could remember their names, it was easier to identify them to certain aspects of them when he sees them he will put names or 'rude nicknames' to their faces. He wasn't even sure if that was all of them, and then there was that one person. He felt the tug of their personality again, they were feeling determined he smirked "Ah determined aren't you?, can't wait to meet you out of all of them".

He decided to call Adrien he sighed sitting up and took out his phone from his bag, he phoned him holding his phone in his left hand and waited drumming his fingers on the rooftop, feeling the rough texture and the loose tiles of the roof, he heard a beep "What is it Felix?". He smirked saying smugly "Well I just thought I'd talk to you Adrien besides not like you can visit".

He heard a sigh "I can already imagine you looking all smug and smart" he laughed "Oh-oh! You amuse dear cousin", Adrien stayed silent for a moment "I am not sure how I deal with you…so what do you want?" Argos cooly stated "I want to know about your little friends and the rest of your classmates" he waited leaning back a bit "...why? And I thought I told you a million times already", Argos dramatically sighed saying in a annoyed tone "I don't pay attention to meddlesome things such as that, just tell me about your friends" Adrien sighed he didn't want to obey to Felix but if he were to get him to stop being annoying he had to.

"Fine I will-" Adrien heard moving from the other end of the line "what is going on?", what he heard was to shock him out of his mind "Counting the money I took from my mother". Felix did what?! "Tell me you're joking?!" he heard a "Mm-m" he sighed "Felix I swear wherever you are chaos happens". He heard a satisfactory "Hm" and "Chaos does occur where I am pleased you took note of that!" Adrien groaned "I only took note of that because it is so often! And you shouldn't be pleased!...".

He heard Felix scoff?! "Too bad", Adrien rolled his eyes, he was in his pyjamas since he should be asleep right now, white shirt and comfy black pants he sat on his bed and looked outside his large window. "Don't be like that-" Argos rolled his eyes 'Don't be like that'? Ugh, "anyway I will tell you their names again". Argos smiled "Oh thank you dear cousin mine!" he heard a sigh then Adrien started talking "My closest friend is Nino, he is nice. Chill, like's to use records when being a DJ, doesn't have a sense of style my father would approve of, cares about me a lot, calls me 'Bud' and 'Bro', calls girls 'Dudette' and also calls guys 'Dude' then there-"Oh! You mean headphone guy?".

He didn't hear Adrien speak for a good while, did he shock him that much? "...instead of trying to remember their real names you remembered mean or rude nicknames for them?" Argos frowned "And?. It is easier that way and better", Adrien talked again "Nevermind, so Alya is nice, although pushy sometimes, a reporter, is good friends with Marinette and cares about others-oh! She also admires heroes and stands up for others-!"Reporter girl!" Adrien had an annoyed look by now "Again with the nicknames?" Argos nodded "I definitely will keep this up!" Adrien sighed with a groan "Fine. Whatever. So there is also Marinette she likes to design and create things, she is kind and caring, she may take it too far to help others, tries befriending others and maybe to an extreme, means well, has a bakery and bakes occasionally-"Baker girl-"Yes-yes sure, anyway I think she is avoiding me".

Argos raises his eyebrows. Avoid Adrien?, wouldn't most want him?. "Why do you think that?" Adrien chuckled "Um she stammers and looks uncomfortable about me, she always blushes-"Adrien you oblivious dork!". Adrien blinked "Um what?", Argos sighed in disbelief "She is not avoiding you!". Adrien tilted his head "So what is it?" Argos rolled his eyes "Nevermind she will tell you when it is time" Adrien nodded.

"Right so there is also Chloe but you know her" Argos scoffed Adrien wished those two would not fight with each other "My classmates are Rose, she is kind, sweet, bubbly, excited and kind" Argos immediately knew who that was "Squealing petite girl". Adrien stayed silent for a moment "That is one of the ruder ones so far, there is also Mylene she doesn't get scared as often anymore, she is kind, sweet, loves Ivan, seems rather shy I think-?"Scaredy cat".

Adrien honestly was more shocked at how calmly Felix said it, "Rude. Kim pulls rude pranks and I don't really like him, he annoys others a lot. I am not sure why he is like this-"Moronic 'funny guy'".

Adrien laughed at that "Okay that one I can live with" Argos smirked "I knew you would be". Adrien nodded stifling a chuckle "Luka is sort of our therapist I think?, he helps others, plays the guitar, is considerate, I am worried that he doesn't consider his own feelings though…" Argos thought about saying what he thought, since it didn't sit well with him "Guitar guy, that is what I call him self-explanatory". Adrien chuckled, smiling "Yeah, so he has a sister called Juleka, she is shy, kind and-"Emo girl-" Adrien nodded he hated to agree with Felix "Yeah guess so". Argos smirked "Right again!".

Adrien narrowed his eyes "Don't rub it in", Argos just laughed. Adrien rolled his eyes "Nathanial likes to draw but is also shy. I think he liked Marinette at some point-?"Shy drawing guy ha! Matches", Adrien nodded muttering "Yup very clever of you Felix". Argos grinned, Adrien added "Then there is Alix, she uses skates and is competitive. She has a tomboy spirit" he heard silence why wasn't Felix talking?. "I renamed her simply 'Tomboy'", Adrien shook his head smirking Felix would do anything to rename them anything "Ah no wonder you stayed silent, there is also Max, he is smart, talks with statistics a lot, made this robot called Markov…I won't talk anymore what did you nickname him?".

Argos smiled "Nerd guy!". Adrien simply said "That is very rude and does match him despite not liking it". Argos laughed "Knew it!". Adrien rolled his eyes "Yeah, yeah so there is also Ivan, he is sweet, loving and all that wait why aren't you saying a nickname?" Argos realized something "I forgot about him" Adrien laughed "Oh no wonder. There is also Zoe, she is calm, chill, not really much about her and she doesn't like Chloe" Argos added "So vanilla girl", Adrien pouted "Vanilla is nice" Argos chuckled "Sure". Adrien decided to tell him about Sabrina "There is Sabrina. She is Chloe's friend, kind, complies to Chloe and doesn't protest-"Spineless coward" Well that was more unnecessarily rude than the other 'nicknames'.

"That was very rude" Argos rolled his eyes "It is true". Adrien sighed "You never change, so why aren't you asleep anyway?. Our time difference isn't that much" Argos shrugged "Don't feel like it?". Adrien nodded "Okay just sleep soon okay? Goodnight Felix" Argos smiled "Of course and goodnight to you too" Adrien nodded and hung up. Argos put his phone away in his bag again and stood up, bag on his back.

He decided his best shot was Marinette, or he could go and see if there were any other fancy hotels but first he decided he would drop by there. He leapt to where he thought he saw the bakery and leapt down "Duusu hold my feathers" Duusu came out exhausted he chuckled "Sorry Duusu what do you eat?" she breathlessly said "Almonds". He nodded and went to buy a pack and opened it, gently handing one to her. She ate it eagerly. "Thanks!" he nodded and let her fly to the pack now that it was inside his bag. He knocked on the door twice with his right hand and waited, the door swung open.

A heaving Marinette stood there, hair messy and covered in flour. Her cute apron was full of it, it was a pink one that looked more white now. "Oh! Uh A-Adrien I-I-!"Not Adrien, Felix" he corrected. Marinette nervously laughed at her mistake, eyes darting around "Right, right-anyway do you um-..." she hesitantly looked at him "know how to clean?" he raised an eyebrow "No why do you ask?" Marinette laughed harder and opened the door wider and his eyes widened in such surprise he thought he couldn't speak again.

"Wha-how-when?" he spluttered, Marinette tried to explain without trampling over her words "Well I may have dropped flour-then um it flew everywhere thanks to a fa-oh I was trying to make chocolate chip cookies for Adrien. You know Adrien right?-anyway I wanted to give it to him because he deserves it and as a nice treat for him-oh no I think I left the oven on!-" she ran to turn it off and ran back "right I want to show my appreciation for Adrien with these cookies-"Baker-I mean Marinette!".

She jumped "Wha-what?" Felix sighed "Get. To. The. Point Marinette". Marinette nodded "Okay, okay, okay I um-right I dropped the flour while walking to the oven with the tray and stumbled back because of the flour spreading everywhere and my eyes and-oh I may have turned on the fan switch…". Felix glanced at her apron to her face and finally to the room "The fan then did the rest?" she sheepishly nodded, "Fine I will help" she grinned "Thanks!" he nodded and daintily walked inside.

"Where are the brooms?" Marinette pointed to the back "The closet is over there, be careful though it might be messy if my parents used something in there then you might fall down" Felix nodded "I will be careful" Marientte smiled. Felix walked over there and opened the door, it was rather messy he looked for the light switch and once he did he turned it on, Felix grabbed a broom and one for Marinette and walked back to her. "Here-" he handed her a broom "-let's get started" she nodded in agreement pointing to the centre of the floor with her broom in her right hand "Let's sweep all the flour there okay Felix?" he nodded "Got that".

He started sweeping the flour from the right side of the room towards the centre, Marinette was quickly making her way around twirling as if listening to music and humming to herself a cheerful tune. She was halfway done after a while, but Felix was not; he probably did a quarter at best. Soon however they both made it to the centre all the flour there, Marinette beamed "Now we just need to swipe the flour of the furniture" Felix nodded and went to get dust feathers both of them dusted around, Felix then used the broom to sweep it to the centre of the room "That is smart!" he looked up at Marinette "Heh?" she giggled "Nothing, just thought that idea was smart of you" he nodded "Guess it was".

They now both stood there and Felix used the broom to sweep it in the bag, he handed it to Marinette "You can throw it away, I am not touching the rubbish bin" Marinette sighed taking it to the back thinking of course he wouldn't he is posh and all that hm, Adrien would have helped carry it. Felix looked around, it was a quaint place, baby pink countertops, white for the table and the cupboards were pink with white around the rim of the doors, this place felt familiar, he wasn't sure why though but he decided to ignore that for now, he smelled all sorts of goods and-..."Chocolate eclair" he mumbled to himself, no wonder this place felt familiar it is because of that.

He remembered perfectly well, the first time he tried one, it was a nice sunny day for London, he had been around six or seven that day. He knew that he had still felt bad about the fact that his mother had taken him out of that room before his father could have hurt him, to tell you the truth? He still felt bad for it, she had gotten hurt once Colt had catched up to her while she ran around the house after letting him hide somewhere. Right the chocolate eclair, he had helped his mother do it but he had stolen glances of his beautiful, wonderful mother.

Unfortunately for him she had noticed and smiled softly at him, taking a spoon to let him try the sweet chocolate. Her voice was soft and gentle 'Why don't you try it Felix?' He smiled softly and tried it, saying 'Mm!' in response she chuckled at that. Of course she did, she was still lively back then and is now. They had carried on making them, the joy and comfort of being near her, helping her and just being there with her was enough to bring his little heart joy, oh yes it was. It wasn't lost to her though the occasional guilt in his eyes and sweet smile, she had cupped his cheeks randomly causing him to gasp 'Felix I love you and whatever happened wasn't your fault. I did it on my own and it wasn't your fault I wanted to keep you safe and I did' then she kissed his forehead and hugged him.

Felix still felt bad for it, all those years later because anytime she had stood up to his father had either been for him or for her-most times for him. He hugged himself staring at the glass that held the chocolate eclair, his mother he had to stay here but he still missed her. Duusu taking notice of this gently nuzzled his right cheek, he let her nuzzle him the memory going round and round his head like a carousel except at the same time that it brought joy, comfort and ease it brought guilt, pain and bittersweetness that was a mix of his past and the beloved cherished moments of his mother either doing something with him or just him watching her from afar. No matter what way he had the moment it was his to cherish and keep, for he loved her truly.

"I am baaack!" he jolted his eyes looking around the room before landing on her, "Oh!. You're back…" Marinette nodded while strolling in the room, he looked at her apron "You should dust that apron" she chuckled "No need!" Felix rolled his eyes and when she came close he swiftly took off her apron putting it over the nearby trashcan and shook it, the flour sprinkling inside of it and some spilling to the opening of the trashcan, he tied it back on Marinette focusing on making the bow perfect. "There" he looked at it pleased, she smiled and twirled around "Do I look good?" he nodded saying "But you should go and remove the flour" she nodded running upstairs "Be right back!". He nodded, softly sighing.

"I sense sadness in you and guilt" he crossed his arms "I am fine Duusu just reminiscing is all" Duusu nodded staring at him intensely. He glanced at her "Don't give me that" Duusu huffed. She ate her almond staring at him, Marinette was upstairs cleaning her face and wiping herself down with a wet cloth for she didn't have much time for a whole shower she would later. She ran downstairs, Felix said to Duusu "Hide" she nodded and hid, glaring at Felix. He rolled his eyes, and Marinette fell down.

"Are you alright?!" she nodded, groaning. "I am fine Felix" he nodded as Marinette got up and went behind the kitchen "Want to try one?" she held the tray holding it close to him, he gently pushed it back with his right hand "No thank you but I appreciate it" she shrugged and tried one smiling feeling the gooiness, sweetness and warmth from the chocolate and the taste of the cookie was like heaven, soft but not too soft that it crumbled under her touch. She muttered "Perfectly done". Felix watched her as she ate, she secretly handed one to Tiki mouthing to her 'Try it' Tiki nodded, one bite out of it and Tiki felt like she was in heaven, it was so good!.

"Mm!" Marinette licked the chocolate that had splattered on her mouth, "You sure you don't want any?" he shook his head "I am sure I don't want any". She nodded thinking, she then turned around and undid her apron walking to the right hook and hung the apron, she turned around again walking back to the counter. "So why are you here?" she took a bite out of her cookie, he cleared his throat, deciding to explain only the necessary details "I had come to Paris for…business related discussions and event's for my mother's business, I was just wondering if I could stay here?. I know you barely know me, and in all honesty I should just go to a hotel, even if it is the one Chloe is at that would be better and less of an inconvenience to you. I am not sure what I thought, really", Marinette beamed waving her hands around.

Her cookie on a plate, "No need!. Stay if you'd like!, I would have to ask my parents but I think they would let you stay", she rested her right elbow on the counter, her right cheek on her hand "they are very understanding and kind!. It is late anyway, you must be tired, the time difference is just one hour, not much of a big difference and not to mention how long you must have travelled".

Felix hadn't expected her to be so understanding, he simply shook his head. "No need I'll just go to that one hotel sure Chloe would be there but-"No!" he tilted his head "What?". Marinette eyes widened momentarily "I meant no don't leave, please stay it wouldn't be of any trouble I bet my parents would love to accept a guest". Felix didn't truly want to stay but it was getting more late the longer he looked for a place to stay, and he needed rest so he conceded to it despite not really wanting to "If it is fine with them". She smiled brightly, straightening immediately "Great! I hope you love it here Felix!", he nodded if he did that would make the experience more pleasing.

Gabriel sat at his office desk, drawing out design after design with such adroitness like the high achieving designer he is. Papers on his desk from left to right, to gain ideas, take notes all he needed. He was in the moment, the world was his background and his drawings his world now.

Colour possibilities, forms of clothes and ways to seamlessly tie it all together in his mind, the design will be perfect just like all those that came before it for he was Gabriel Agreste. He was someone, just when he was nearly done finalizing the design his phone rang, he sighed and answered it by putting it on speaker near his right side far away so that he doesn't accidentally drop it."What is it?". He hadn't looked at the caller ID even once, not wanting to focus on anything other than his design.

"Gabriel!" he jumped at the yelling, it sounded like a woman. Unmistakably Amelie's, he was sure of that "What is it Amelie? Why the urgency?". Amellie took a deep breath in trying to control herself "I-I don't know where-..." she broke down crying "where Felix is!". Gabriel wasn't sure how to deal with this, he couldn't just ignore her now that she knows he has the chance to answer her because he had answered her but he can't just dismiss her she would be a frantic mess anyway. He sighed reluctant to help, until he thought of his son…Adrien…what would he do if he went missing?, he would not sit still he would tell the police, make Nathalie tell everyone Adrien knows, make it known, make a fuss…who is he to think like that?, he would make more of a fuss than Amelie is.

Not to mention, Felix is a lone wolf, if he has any friends it would be little and not that many acquaintances either. He was the only one that could help Amelie, even if she wanted someone else to help she wouldn't be able to. Because he was the only person Amelie knew that might know about Felix's whereabouts, he decided to help her just this once. "How did you find out he was missing?". He heard some soft anxious muttering, she must be frantic and worried by now, he can't calm her down directly so how should he calm her down?...assurance, everyone needs assurance even childless adults. He would give her assurance, he heard her talk again, her voice anxious and worried "I had gone inside his room. Before I knocked of course but I didn't even hear his voice!. He would have talked to me, he would have responded but he didn't!. So I went inside his room and went to his bed and it was just a dummy, and there was this ladder that was wet. I knew he must have used it and-".

"Amelie I am sure he couldn't have gone far and even if he did then he went to the only place he knows he is safe other than where you are", he heard Amelie gasp. He smiled softly, she was so caring and worried so much about Felix. Her gasp must be one of relief he thought "Are you sure?". Gabriel nodded, twirling his pencil around in his left hand, he had gotten good at it but hadn't noticed till now. His voice calm and concentrated "Yes I am sure of that, he must have come here to Paris for a reason or had gone somewhere in London. Whichever one he would rush to you if he saw you I am sure-" he looked at his design intently, gently tapping the eraser of his pencil on the paper, "he cares about you. If anything he would run to you if he heard you got hurt so don't worry I am sure he is fine he is smart and tactical".

Amelie sighed then got an idea "Actually, Gabriel?". Gabriel put down his pencil, his left index finger under his lip, his thumb touching his index finger, his fingers touching "Hm?", Amelie took a deep breath "Would you mind-" she hesitated wondering what to do, Gabriel tilted his head his eyes sparkled having an idea he picked up his pencil again and scribbled down a quick sketch of what he would add to the design, yes this could work Amelie started speaking again "Would you mind taking Felix in if you find him?". Gabriel stopped his scribbling, eyes wide he placed his pencil down, he thought about this his left hand playing with his thumb, right hand on the table.

"I-I am not sure Amelie" Amelie's voice pleaded to him "Please! Gabriel I beg you to! I love my son more than anything you understand, don't you?". He opened his mouth to speak when his eyes caught sight of a picture of his son. Yes he does understand he sighed pushing the image facedown with his right hand "Yes I do understand perfectly well Amelie which is why out of concern of my son's well being I won't let your son near him or in my home, he is chaotic and I am sorry to say but wouldn't be the best influence for Adrien". He heard her taking in shaky gasps softly crying to herself.

He closed his eyes, he couldn't see her but he could hear her. He would ignore her, this is for his son's well being…except she started sobbing uncontrollably muttering to herself "I-I won-won't ever see my son again!. I am so-sorry Fe-Felix I-I should ha-have kept a clo-closer eye on you!" Gabriel's lips twitched damn it!. He squeezed his eyes tighter, but the sobs still wouldn't be drowned so he opened his eyes and turned up the music to see if that would help.

Sadly female's have a lot of volume in their cries, well people in general do but at the moment it was Amelie crying not some guy. He closed his eyes again, still the aggravating sobbing! He huffed trying to ignore her until he had enough he shouted "Alright, alright! I will accept him inside my home if I see him! But you owe me!" Amelie squealed in delight "Oh thank you Gabriel!". He nodded, sighing, eyes still closed as he leaned back in his chair, it felt soft…he wanted to relax-no! He wouldn't. He was just exhausted from Amelie "Yes yes your welcome". "Okay bye Gabriel!" he nodded and sighed, opening his eyes.

He started working on his design, his eyes however had a different challenge for him. The sleep was getting to him, his eyes dropping, he shook his head no he wasn't yet done with his design. He straightened his back more, that should help, he kept on drawing his design the lines getting slightly more sloppy he sighed and erased it. 'Have to do it again' he huffed but his eyes still dropped, he groaned in frustration and twirled his pencil around to see if having his hand do something would help despite drawing also being something he could do with his hand, as expected except to him it didn't work well at all, if it did work that is. Gabriel being stubborn stood up leaving his pencil roll across the desk to the other side falling down, he sighed standing in the kitchen.

He leaned against the counter on the left side where the stove was, he crossed his arms waiting for his coffee to be finished. It churned, coffee getting ready he sighed eyelids heavy while trying to keep them open, Nooroo flew to his side "Master shouldn't you rest?" he shook his head stubborn as always "No I will not, I have things to do Nooroo I am almost done with my design and will not let my rush of creativity leave me", Nooroo sighed what did he think anyway. Gabriel looked outside the window then at the clock on the wall around the room, 9:00 he should be going to sleep soon. But not yet it isn't 10 yet, he did wonder if Adrien was asleep. Is he?! He should check with this random burst of concern (and procrastination but shhh!, that isn't the reason according to him) he went upstairs.

Gabriel carefully walked across the floor, well sloppily his feet didn't really obey him yet since he was getting tired. 'Worked to death' should be a term used for describing Gabriel Agreste really, but alas it wasn't, he leaned against the railing closing his eyes, the light bothering him even though it was soft coloured since he preferred that over harsh lights. He stayed there for a moment before leaving the railing and walking again, his mind fuzzy and not able to concentrate too well. Honestly, what did he expect? He turns right and slowly opens the door halfway. Light pours in and Adrien is in bed, turning and twisting, smiling and giggling at something "Mmm you're funny!" he smiled watching his sleeping son.

He thought to himself 'I need to go back and-...what was I doing?' he groaned holding his forehead with his right hand. What was he doing?, it had something to do with his work and-wait he does feel tired so?...coffee…right he needed coffee he smiled, gently closing the door with his right hand and started going down the stairs rather clumsily until-'Slam!' he groaned, surrendering himself. His body relaxed and said a muffled "Ow". He closed his eyes, he is too tired for this, bye world it could go to hell, he was tired of it. "Mm…this feels nice" he considered letting himself rest right now until he remembered he was on the fucking ground! He got up immediately and wiped himself, he turned to the kitchen and ran there shouting "Fuck!". Nathalie had been getting ready to leave until she heard that word was that?...her boss just cursed.

Gabriel went to the coffee machine muttering that curse word again and again clearly not right in the mind, he took the cup of coffee and ran to his desk "God damn it!. This world can go to hell!", Nooroo zipped out "Master-"Nooroo shut up! I will hate whatever you say!" Nooroo was shocked. "But-"Shut the fuck up!" Nooroo shook his head "Master you aren't thinking right you are cursing damnit!" Gabriel paused, Nooroo was right he was cursing he sighed mumbling "This is pathetic and ridiculous I never curse I hate being tired". Nooroo gave him a deadpan look "Then sleep" he shook his head "No" he put his cup down nearly done with his design.

Nathalie also went inside concerned about the cursing "Gabriel is everything alright?" he nodded and took a sip of his coffee, Nathalie glanced at her clock "It is 9:15 Gabriel you should go to sleep", Gabriel rolled his eyes settling the cup down "I don't and don't pester me" Nathalie sighed contemplating if she should dismiss herself from the room, Gabriel was hard to deal with. Nooroo tugged on Gabriel, Gabriel gave a grunt and lightly swatted Nooroo away. "Master sleep!" he shook his head…she had enough Nathalie stormed over to his desk causing him to glance up for a split second eyes wide and reach for the cup of coffee with his pencil falling down. Nathalie snatched it away in her right hand; she held it over his design, the coffee inching closer to the brim of the cup.

Gabriel frantically thought of a way to bribe her out of doing it, "Na-Nathalie put it down! I-I'll give you a raise?!" panic and urgency in his voice, she shook her head "Sleep or else this will go to waste" Gabriel's eyes darted around the room thinking of how else he could bribe her…he felt disgusted at the thought but he knew she seemed to want more than just be an assistant "I um-I could-..." he felt repulsed, not at her but at what he was about to suggest as a 'bribe' "give you a kiss if you would not do that to the design?" Nathalie gasped her eyes wide and her hand shaked a bit Gabriel quickly swiped the paper away from the droplet he sighed putting it down again.

"Wha-what?!" he nodded "I would do it even though I don't want to"...she was dealing with a crazy man, she thought about it ugh she would let Gabriel win just this once besides a kiss sounded nice. She nodded, so Gabriel got ready for the kiss, however once he got close to her lips his eyes went to her cheek and kissed her right cheek he sat back down again "Never said where". She blushed lightly anyway, a kiss to the cheek still meant something and also she was astonished at his desperation.

Nooroo had no idea what he had just witnessed, it was not what he expected. Nathalie, still firm with resolve, stated "Now go to sleep, you saved your papers" he shook his head drawing, eyes narrowed "I am nearly done!". Nathalie glanced from the door to Gabriel and she walked towards him going around him gently, he did however notice. He got up and turned around "Nathalie what are you-?" he gasped seeing her grab his left arm and start trying to drag him, "Let go" she shook her head now how would she drag this man?...she grabbed his left arm with both hands and dragged him along he held back proving that she was of little resistance, he reeled her back holding her firmly behind her back with his right hand "I am not letting you drag me Nathalie" he looked at her eyes, she felt her heart race this was…nice, it felt nice but wasn't she trying to drag him? So why is it that he is the one reeling her and not her?.

She had to drag him or-push! She smiled and her posture relaxed "You're right" he nodded "Yes I am-hold on why are you smiling?" Nathalie gave him an apologetic smile "Sorry" he was confused "'Sorry', but why?". Nathalie quickly ran behind him and started pushing him with force "For this!" He relaxed, his shoulder barely pushed by her. "Nathalie-" he heard her grunt he wobbled but regained his footing "Nathalie this isn't going to work", Nathalie sighed knowing he was right until. She sweeped his ankle he stumbled unprepared for that and right then she pinned him down her right foot on his back she heaved "There". She went in front of him and started dragging him holding his hands, he started to get up quickly she tugged him once to make sure he couldn't fully get up once, she did that once in a while as she dragged him.

"Nathalie let go!" she shook her head dragging him along, "I need you to sleep Gabriel and for that to happen I need to take you there". Gabriel ripped his hands away from her "No! I-!" he yelped, nearly falling down. She ran to him holding him up. He held her shoulders, slowly breathing back to normal, "See?" Gabriel grumbled to himself staring at her, it felt nice holding her and she had a lovely voice, she did look pretty…what if he kissed her?, he probably shouldn't but he wanted to and she looked so cute and mad, her body was pretty…he would like to kiss her, but would it be right? He suspected she did like him so maybe? God he hopes he won't regret this he leaned forward and pressed his lips onto hers, her eyes widened pulling back "Wha-what was that?!". He looked at her and had a hint of regret but not about the kiss directly "I am sorry I-I shouldn't have. I'll-" he gasped as she grabbed him and smacked her lips on his.

He closed his eyes and held her waist holding her close, they both kissed next he held her behind her shoulders kissing her with such ferocity and love, she stopped kissing him. He had felt regret kissing her since he had thought she didn't like it oh but now he didn't regret it. Gabriel wobbled and she noticed this "Oh right! You should go to bed" he rolled his eyes "Do I?" she nodded leading him along, "Come on you'll feel better tomorrow" he sighed "Fine". She still however thought of how he impulsively kissed her, definitely because of him being tired but even then she adored it she had a light blush on her cheeks.

She opened the door and he walked in, she turned around "Not going to look?" she shook her head and he chuckled muttering "Of course you wouldn't" he dressed quickly and went to the door she looked at him "Goodnighit sir" he winked "Gabriel" he then closed the door. She stood there…he was drunk, wasn't he? She shook her head and quickly ran out of the house closing the door behind her and it was locked. She went home after that wild experience.

-Back at Dupain Cheng's bakery 8:00, one hour earlier-

Felix had his pyjamas on, he had not changed in front of her. They had a spare room, where he had made himself at home, not exactly but close. He had a black shirt, black loose pants and looked fashionable as always and of course he had put on the Miraculous again, he got up walking across the ground. Duusu yawned looking at him "Felix shouldn't you be asleep?" he looked over his shoulder at her whispering "I will Duusu but not yet I will be fine anyway" Duusu sighed "Okay". Felix smiled "Go to sleep I will be back" she nodded and nestled back down, he walked off softly making his way to his bag he had left it downstairs since Marinette's parents had insisted on letting him hang it on a hook since it was heavy and he had let them to be polite.

Felix reached it and opened it. He got it down and looked for his map of Gabriel's home. He had used the miraculous to see through walls and everything, based on that he had mapped places and named them now he had to look for the possible spot where the tablet could be, he laid it out on the table putting objects on each corner as weights so that it doesn't roll up again, Felix searched for a light he found his phone and used it. It was at one hundred percent so he would be fine, Felix examined each room carefully before finally deciding that it would either be in Gabriel's room hidden, it could also be around the office desk or in a hidden spot he had found.

Felix smirked "I'll find it soon enough" he circled the spots with a red pen and with that took off the objects weighing it down and rolled it up, putting away the objects thankfully he had bothered remembering where the objects were and their positions. He then put the bag away on the hook. Next he carefully went back to his room, opening the door and getting in bed he smirked imagining how the day would go tomorrow and finally finding out who that person was!.

-the next morning-

Felix leapt up removing his clothes and putting on his clothes, "Duusu go to my bag, I had put the almonds inside of it you will be able to go inside" Duusu nodded and left. Felix opened the door and ran downstairs shoved the pyjamas in the bag again, he then rushed upstairs to wake Marinette up or as he initially intended, see if she was awake. He opened the door slamming it and saw her jump while still in bed sleeping, Tiki had already hidden hearing the running of feet all over the house. Felix groaned and went to her side roughly moving her "Wake up!", she didn't. He rolled his eyes and ripped off the blanket. The alarm then went off…he put his ringtone at full volume since he had taken his phone while he was downstairs and put it near her.

She gasped and jolted, she looked at Fleix "Wha-what time is it?!". Felix showed his phone "7:25?" she sighed "Not late then?" he shook his head "Early if you get dressed". She smiled at Felix "Thanks for waking me up" he smirked "No problem" he left turning the volume down on his phone and put it away in his bag and his charger, "Tiki I won't be late" Tiki nodded "So get dressed" Marinette sighed and got dressed. Felix was downstairs and was going to leave immediately, not even taking some breakfast. He was just going to go and buy something outside anyway on his way to go and find a hotel to stay at this was temporary anyway.

"Felix won't you stay for breakfast?" Sabine worked at the kitchen with her husband since both can cook, he shook his head "I was planning on getting some food on the way since it is about time I find a hotel to stay at", Sabine turned to him "But aren't you with your mother? And why were you alone anyway?, I was going to ask you that but didn't have time and you did have to sleep". Right that, he would have to lie "I am staying with my mother but she had her train delayed. She had given me money to be able to take care of myself for a while, I will meet up with her later but I wanted to find a hotel to stay at first".

Sabine smiled "Oh you sweet boy!. Helping your mother like that! I have a feeling you might become friends with Marinette. She is nice too, you should stay for breakfast at least!" Felix looked at the food being cooked reluctantly. He did want it, reluctant mind you. "I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to waste some time, but just for breakfast" she nodded "Just for breakfast I promise!", he sure hoped that was true he had to get started on this plan pronto.

So that was how he ended up sitting at the table along with Marinette there being clumsy, her father to the left side and her mother on the right side and him stuck at the back much to his luck which was pretty rotten. What they ate was rather sweet actually, a 'sweet tooth' he presumed. A sweet tooth for the French huh, well in the morning that is, he was eating at a slightly faster pace than her parents and her, because he had to do things quickly. "Hmm Marinette?" Marinette looked at her mother "Yes?".

Sabine chuckled "He seems like a nice boy, he is also smart and a darling. Maybe you two would be great together?", her eyes widened "Mom! Even if we did, I don't like him". She slumped down a bit mumbling "Although he is cute and seems…interesting" Felix raised his eyebrow "And what was that last part?" Marinette gasped, flailing her hands around "No-nothing!" he nodded "Right and I assume I didn't see your lips moving either?"...oh she was busted! "Um nooo?", he gave her a deadpan look "Really? Even when you say it like it is a question to yourself?", she sighed "Okay I did say something but that's none of your business!" he shrugged and carried on eating…that was easy, he smirked once he finished his bite he said "But you still said something and I got you to admit you said something".

She sighed and banged her head on the table, "Ummm oookay?", he looked at her unsure of what just happened. Was this normal?, "Anyway I appreciate you for letting me stay here but I have to leave now", her parents waved bye to him "You can come anytime dear!" he nodded. Marinette looked at him, waved and then put her head down again, blushing…sheesh, he walked out the door with his bag. They were too hospitable. It felt odd. He could not feel normal at a home like that, he was an outcast, he wanted to go home to where he belonged, he didn't belong there or any warm home he had to go home soon.

Felix walked across Paris searching for a hotel to stay at, there wasn't any that caught his eye wanting one that was of good quality. But he was still the same stubborn, snarky boy Adrien knew all those years ago so he obviously didn't accept it…at first, he was stubborn but not up to Adrien or Gabriel's level of stubborn, let's face it he was stubborn but could come to terms with things at a easier rate than either of them. With the latter between Adrien and Gabriel being even more stubborn, father like son.
