Welcome back. I am about to disappoint people who liked my other story. I'm not going to finish it like I wanted to. I've lost interest in it for the time being and hopefully one day I gain the energy to finish it. This story has been a blast to write thus far. I started writing and deleting and rewriting this since December 2022. I've also been a fan of the OC Uchiha being in Naruto's place. This story is going to be very different. Everything, every one, and every place isn't going to be the same. I meant it when I said I was going to write a different fanfiction. This will be entirely different! Hopefully, you enjoy the story as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

Arc 1: First Real Mission

Chapter 1: The Boy Who Wasn't Supposed to Be!

Hagaromo watches the Universe in the pure lands from a magical orb like Hiruzen Sarutobi has done for Konoha. The Sage can see multiple things on his orb though. Supernovas and black holes form, time is past, present, and future. He watches as Naruto Uzumaki celebrates with his family after he became the Seventh Hokage. However he looks closer and sees the orb has made smaller orbs forming next to it.

"What is this?" He asks himself. The Sage of Six Paths grabs one of the orbs. This one is purple compared to the white one he normally watches. The purple orb had an aura of hatred, of love, of jealousness. This felt much like his son Indra. He uses his Rinnegan enlarges it. He watches it and sees similar events. However a specific event has him horrified.

"How can this even be possibly? A multiverse forming? Other realities as real as the one I watch over."

He starts watching the orb where it starts like the other one.

"Where does it branch at?" He asked himself.

He intently watched. "Minato… you never fell in love with woman. Is this why this universe was created?" He theorized.

The orb expands and he watches from a moment further in history. When Madara enlists Obito to his plan as details was immensely different.

Madara's cave

"A world of dreams huh?" The thirteen year old boy asked.

"Yes, a dream world of only victors." Madara tells him.

"So, why didn't you do it when you were younger?" Obito asked curiously.

"Because I was busy setting the cards for you to do it." The older than possible man stated.

"I feel a but coming." The Uchiha youngling spoke.

"I trained you properly then. I saw a vision when I unlocked the Rinnegan. A vision where in the future, you revive me as the plan intended. However, a young Uchiha with eyes as intimidating as my very own stared me down. I had all the power, yet this Uchiha felt like he had the power to defeat me." Madara informed his pupil.

"What are we supposed to do?" Obito asked.

"We nip it in the bud. There will come a time where Konoha and the Uchiha will bump heads. When that happens, you will help from the shadows. Eliminate every single one. We mustn't allow one with eyes as powerful as that survive." Madara declared.

"What if we gained him as an ally?" Zetsu asked.

"Ally? Hmm, perhaps. A dangerous enemy is a powerful ally I suppose. If the opportunity presents itself, you will do what I said. If not, you'll recruit this Uchiha. He's dangerous. We will not take him lightly." Madara lectured.

Back in the Purelands.

Hagaromo pulled away from that moment in this universes history.

"An Uchiha with eyes as powerful as Rinnegan? Is that possible? Perhaps a special Mangekyou Sharingan?" Hagaromo theorizes.

The Sage spins the orb to another point in time and lands on Minato's marriage.

Konoha, 3 months after the Third Shinobi War

"And do you, Minato Namikaze, take Akane Uchiha as your lawfully wedded wife?" The Third Hokage asked.

"I do." Minato said proudly.

"Then you may kissed the bride." The Sarutobi leader said.

The blonde man kissed his raven haired queen.

Kushina watched on in pure jealousy. She was happy her two friends were getting married, but she was jealous because she too loved Minato Namikaze.

Another person watching in jealousy was Akimitsu Senju. The cousin of Tsunade was very jealous of that man Minato Namikaze. This man had stole everything from him and his rival Fugaku Uchiha. The position of Hokage was his birth right, yet the Third Hokage has selected Namikaze as his heir to the throne. Minato stole his thunder on the battlefield. Minato was a thorn in his side.

Fugaku didn't attend the ceremony as did none of the loyal Uchiha. Once Fugaku had found out of his cousin marrying an outsider, he had effectively banished her from the clan. He respected Minato, he just wished the man married Kushina instead of his blood. Now his impure blood will contaminate the Uchiha bloodline for years to come.

Back in the Pure Lands

So much as happened. Wait... Naruto Uzumaki doesn't exist here. He thought.

He spun the orb slightly to get to Akane's pregnancy.

Konoha, 1 year after Minato's reign as Hokage started

"Fugaku-sama, please. I know you don't want my son around your clan, but what if he awakens Sharingan eyes?" Minato asked.

"You really think your son, with 50% Uchiha DNA will be able to have access to the bloodline of the Uchiha?" Fugaku asked in disbelief.

"There is a literal 50% chance of it happening. If it happens, can he be allowed to train by the Uchiha elites?" Minato asked.

"No. I won't have half breeds in my compound." Fugaku stated.

"If my son unlocks Sharingan and he goes on missions, he will be deemed as an Uchiha by outsiders. If he is captured, your clan's dojutsu and its secrets will be revealed." Minato stated.

Fugaku groaned. He hadn't thought that far ahead. Dammit. He's right. I can't allow it to disrespect the Uchiha name and possibly lose his Sharingan to an outsider. He thought. "Fine, if your genetically inferior child awakens Sharingan, I will personally see to it that he is trained by the best." Fugaku stated.

Minato shook the man's hand despite the man bashing his soon to be born son.

Hours later

"Congratulations! Your baby boy is healthy!" Biwako stated!

"Thanks Lady Biwako!" Minato said reaching out for his son.

Hiruzen's wife slapped his hand out the way. "Not so fast! Mothers first!" She said as she handed the black haired child to Akane.

"Oh my god. He's beautiful!" She claimed.

The baby opened his eyes to reveal baby blue eyes.

"He has your eyes Minato!" She said fondly.

He won't have the Sharingan after all then. Minato thought with a smile.

As useful as the Sharingan was, it was also a curse. Each stage of the Sharingan was unlocked through pain. Each pain getting worse and worse until you aren't yourself anymore.

Minato was relieved.

Pure lands

"So, Naruto is born as an Uchiha. But what of Kurama?" The Sage asked.

He spun the orb ever so slightly again.

Kushina's pregnancy site

Like in the original timeline, Kushina is in a disclosed location with Biwako, her husband Akimitsu Senju, and the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze.

Minato was trying to keep the Nine Tails secured in the seal, while Akimitsu used his wood style.

Akimitsu was the second Senju with access to the Wood Release. Although not as powerful has his grandfather Hashirama, it's nothing to scoff at. His wood style has saved his comrades from Onoki multiple times.

Kushina struggled to give birth to her daughter. The baby was fighting to come out. "Mito! Please just come out and meet your mommy and daddy!" The woman cried.

Moments later the baby was born. Akimitsu reached out for the baby and was slapped on the hands.

"What is it with you men thinking you can hold the baby first!" Biwako Sarutobi yelled.

She handed the red head girl to Kushina.

Pure Lands

"Obito Uchiha comes here and starts the fight like he always does. Interesting that some things don't change." Hagaromo spoke.

It seemed as if everything happens for a reason.

Konoha, Nine Tails Sealing

"Seal the fox back into me. Please Minato." Kushina cried out.

"I'm sorry, I cannot do that." Minato somberly spoke. "If I do, Konoha will be weakened until the Nine Tails re-emerges." Minato said with tears.

Kushina had tears coming down her eyes. She knew it was too late for her. She was hanging on by literal threads as she held the massive fox in place with her chakra chains.

"I'll seal the fox inside my son." Minato stated.

"No! He won't survive. He needs Uzumaki DNA to have a chance against the fox. Seal it into Mito!" Kushina exclaimed.

Akimitsu finally arrived on the scene to see his rival and wife talk. He lost an arm in the Kyubi attack and needed to know what was happening.

"What's happening?" He asked.

"Kushina is dying, we are sealing the beast inside your daughter." Minato said as he drew up the sealing formula.

"What?!" The Senju yelled.

The fox was attempting to break free. It was getting closer and closer.

"Use your Wood Style to hold the furry bastard will ya!" Kushina yelled at her husband.

Akimitsu listens to his wife and makes a wood clone. Him and the clone shout, "Wood Style: Wooden Dragon Jutsu!"

The two wood dragons wrapped around the massive fox and stopped it from moving.

Minato ran through the hand signs to summon the Shinigami. "Reaper Death Seal!" The Shinigami appeared! Minato looked at the Senju. "Tell Hiruzen, there's three notes left in the Hokage drawer. Tell him to pass it out." He ordered.

The Shinigami sealed the fox into the child and chakra from both Kushina and Minato.

pure lands

"So, this world has changed much." The Sage noted. He opened a book and started to write on the cover.

Purple Orb: Universe 2

The Sage started to fill in pages of the events that transpired. As he does he spins the orb a full rotation.

Konoha 6 years later

I'm not like most boys. I'm an Uchiha, well part Uchiha. I'm loved by non Uchiha, but hated by the Uchiha Clan. Mom won't even tell me who my father is. Apparently it's a S Class secret. A boy thinks.

He walked into the Uchiha compound. I can see it in there eyes. Jealously, envy, hatred. It's all around them. Naruto continues thinking. They hate how I awaken my Sharingan at the ripe age of Four. Naruto starts to recall the events that led to his Sharingan awakening.

flashback 1 year ago

"Mom?" The little boy asked timidly.

"Yea son?" The woman said while preparing dinner.

"I.. I know you said it's a S Rank Secret, but can you at least tell me about dad?" The boy asked.

"I guess." Akane said while seasoning the steak.

"Your father was a great man and good ninja. He always thought of others and did the right thing. 6 years ago he gave his life during the Nine Tails attack. He helped defeat the monster who terrorized us." Akane stated. Tears were starting to form in her eyes.

Naruto had tears dripping from his cheeks on to the hardwood floor. "Mommy, why aren't we in the Uchiha compound like Sasuke, Itachi, and Auntie Mikoto?" The boy asked.

"Uncle Fugaku didn't like the fact the your father and I got married." She said bluntly. "He wanted me to come back after your father died, but I told him no. That the rest of the clan were going to treat you unfairly." The wife of the Fourth Hokage stated.

"They hate me because of daddy?" The young Uchiha asked.

"Yes." Akane depressingly spoke.

Naruto started to cry. Akane turned around and looked at the boy.

"It's okay Naruto. Look at me." She said.

The boy opened his eyes to reveal the crimson one tomoe Sharingan.

"Wow... your eyes. They..." Akane was flabbergasted.

"They're what?" Naruto asked. His eyes were burning.

"You have eyes like mommy now." She said. "Quick get dressed. We got to see Uncle Fugaku now!" Akane ordered.

Flashback end

"Naruto, how are you doing today?" Fugaku greeted the boy.

Although Fugaku saw the boy as inferior, he was the last thing that brought happiness into his cousin. He regretted the decisions he's made against Akane and Minato. Now the boy and his cousin suffer from it due to the clan's hatred of them boy. He had even started to grow to like Naruto over the past year.

"Hn." The boy grunted.

Fugaku's mouth formed a smile. Although he is a half breed, he managed to awaken the Sharingan early and even has the trademark grunt. He thought.

"Today you will master the Fireball jutsu before you can go home. I'll have Itachi show it to you and train you." The leader of the Uchiha Clan stated.

"Yessir." Naruto sounded off.

The older Uchiha walked over leaving Naruto in the living room. Sasuke ran down the stairs and seen Naruto!

"Naruto! What are you doing here?" Sasuke asked.

"Mom made me come over to learn jutsu." He said.

"That's so cool!" Sasuke said with enthusiasm. "Are you going to use your Sharingan?" He questioned.

"No. My mom said I shouldn't use it during training unless the training is specifically about my eyes." Naruto answered. "She said that Uchiha who rely on the power of the Sharingan, aren't great ninja when blinded." Naruto added.

"Hmm, I don't know. If I had my Sharingan, I'd use it all the time." Sasuke said with laughter.

"Foolish little brother. You couldn't do that. You'd over work your eyes." Itachi said as he entered the room.

"Itachi!" Sasuke ran up and hugged his older brother.

Naruto watched as the two brothers embraced. He was jealous that Sasuke had a full family and surrounded by Uchiha who loved him.

Sasuke was jealous Naruto was able to train with Itachi and had Sharingan before him.

"Naruto-sama, are you ready?" Itachi asked.

Both boys hated that honorific. Naruto hated it because he wasn't anybody's superior. Sasuke hated it because he wasn't called sama.

"Stop calling me that." Naruto said while embarrassed.

If only you knew who you truly were Naruto. Itachi thought.

"Anyways, let's go to the dock. Sasuke, you can join too if you'd like." Itachi said.

"Really?" Sasuke asked with wide eyes. "Naruto!" He turned around and grabbed Naruto's shirt. "I bet you I master whatever Jutsu you're supposed to learn first." Sasuke challenged.

"I accept your challenge Sasuke!" Naruto said all fired up.

The two boys ran to the dock and waited for Itachi.

"Okay, today before we start, I have to see what chakra nature you have." Itachi said as he pulled out two pieces of paper.

"What do you mean Chakra nature?" Sasuke asked.

"What's with the paper?" Naruto asked.

"Chakra nature is what every shinobi has. We are all made with different capabilities with nature. My chakra nature is Fire. That means I am good at fire style and have a hard time learning and mastering wind style. Most Uchiha have fire style. Sometimes they get another." Itachi informed the boys. "This paper will tell us which chakra nature you have."

"Awesome!" Sasuke said as he grabbed the paper.

Naruto grabbed the other piece. Both boys applied their chakra to the paper.

Sasuke's paper crinkled up and then turned to ash. "What does that mean big brother?"

"That means you have two affinities. Each affinity does something different to the paper.

Fire: The paper will catch on fire and turn into ash.

Wind: The paper will split in half.

Lightning: The paper will wrinkle.

Earth: The paper will turn to dirt and crumble away.

Water: The paper will become damp." Itachi stated. "That means you have Lightning and Fire as your chakra nature Sasuke."

"That's so cool. Naruto did you hear that, I have two affinities!" Sasuke shouted in joy.

Naruto didn't answer. The two brothers looked at the half Uchiha.

"Naruto?" Sasuke asked.

Itachi's eyes widened. "Th-that's im-impossible!" He said.

Naruto's paper was currently all black.

What does that mean? Itachi didn't say anything about the paper turning black! Naruto thought.

"Naruto, try it again." Itachi spoke. He hand Naruto another piece.

Naruto channeled chakra through the paper. The two brothers watch intensely as the paper once again turned black.

"Itachi, what does that mean?" Naruto asked.

"Stay here. I have to find Lord Hokage quickly!" Itachi said as he disappeared into a swirl of crow feathers.

Itachi sprinted through the busy streets of Konoha, dodging past vendors and people in a hurry. He had received alarming news about Naruto's chakra nature paper test, and he knew he had to inform the third Hokage about it immediately.

As he ran past the Ichiraku Ramen stand, he could hear Teuchi calling out to him, but Itachi didn't stop. He had to get to the Hokage's office as fast as possible. He weaved through the bustling crowds, avoiding the numerous food stalls, and leaped over a cart carrying fresh produce.

He could feel the sweat on his forehead as he approached the gates of the Hokage's office. Two ANBU guards stood at the entrance, but Itachi didn't stop to exchange pleasantries. He rushed past them and barged into the Hokage's office.

The third Hokage was taken aback by Itachi's sudden intrusion, but he knew better than to question the Uchiha's urgency. Itachi explained the situation to the Hokage, detailing Naruto's chakra nature paper test and asked what it meant for the future of the ninja world.

"Sir!… Naruto's….. chakra nature test….. came back….as a black piece of paper." The prodigy said between catching his breath.

The Hokage listened carefully, his expression growing more and more grave as Itachi spoke. He knew that this was a matter of utmost importance, and he would have to take immediate action to prevent any potential disaster.

"Thank you Itachi-kun. I'm afraid I don't even know what that means. A shinobi has never had all five affinities before. Perhaps that is what it could mean." Hiruzen theorized.

"Are you saying Naruto can master any jutsu without the Sharingan then? And it will be efficient?" Itachi asked.

"That is what I'm theorizing. I can use all five elements, but if I use chakra paper to test it, I'll always come back as Earth, fire, and Wind, as they are my stronger affinities." The Hokage said.

"So, what are we going to do? No one can know." Itachi worriedly asked.

"You're right. Naruto already has heat within the Uchiha clan. If they found out a half-breed can use all five chakra natures with ease, they may take action. Not only that, some of the older Uchiha who know who Naruto really is, could leak his identity to Iwa. You will keep it a secret. You will tell Naruto his affinity is to never be discussed and is wind and water." Hiruzen said.

"Hai Hokage-sama." Itachi spoke.

As Itachi left the office, he could see the worried faces of the ANBU guards outside. He didn't stop to talk to them, though. He had done what he came to do and rushes back to Naruto and Sasuke.

Itachi made his way back to the Uchiha Lake, his mind still reeling from the urgent meeting with the Hokage. As he approached the lake, he could see Naruto and Sasuke sitting on the bank, laughing and talking.

He walked up to them, his face still serious, and Naruto looked up at him. "Hey, Itachi! Did you find out what my chakra nature is?" he asked eagerly.

Itachi nodded, taking a deep breath before speaking. "Your affinity is wind and water," he said, his voice calm and measured.

Naruto's face fell a little, and Sasuke looked at Itachi curiously. "That's not bad, Naruto," Sasuke said, trying to lift his friend's spirits.

But Naruto looked down at the ground, disappointment etched on his face. I can tell that's not all. He clearly explained how the paper works. He didn't mention it turning black. I wonder what the truth really is. He thinks. "It's not as cool as Sasuke's affinity for lightning and fire," he muttered.

Itachi placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, and he looked up at him. "It's not about having the most impressive chakra nature, Naruto," Itachi said, his voice gentle. "It's about how you use it."

Naruto looked at Itachi, confusion and curiosity mingling in his expression. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Itachi sat down next to him, and Sasuke moved to make room. "Your chakra nature is a tool, Naruto," he explained. "How you use it is what matters. You can use wind and water to create powerful jutsu and techniques that can rival even Sasuke's lightning and fire. It's all about how you use your chakra."

Naruto looked at Itachi, a new sense of hope in his eyes. "You're right," he said, a smile spreading across his face. "Thanks, Itachi. I'll work hard to make my chakra nature the best it can be."

Itachi smiled back at him, his heart warming at the sight of Naruto's determination. "I know you will, Naruto," he said. "And don't forget, Sasuke is here to help you too."

Sasuke nodded, a small smile on his lips. "Of course," he said. "We're a team, after all."

Naruto beamed at the two of them, grateful for their support. "Yeah, we are," he said, looking out at the tranquil waters of the Uchiha Lake. "And we'll be the best team ever!"

Itachi stood up and the two boys wondered what was next?

"Itachi? What's next?" Sasuke curiously asked.

"Before an Uchiha can learn any other Jutsu and to become an official member, you must learn the Great Fireball Jutsu." Itachi stated.

Naruto looked down in disappointment. He couldn't do the fire style as good as Sasuke because of his affinity for water and wind, or so he thought.

"You both will master this. Watch carefully at my hands. Hand signs are the most important part of a jutsu because if you mess one up it weakens the jutsu immensely or changes the jutsu as a whole." Itachi said.

He showed them the hand signs for the Great Fireball Jutsu, a powerful technique that could incinerate entire forests. Naruto watched closely, his eyes scanning Itachi's movements. He memorized the hand signs, committing them to memory with ease.

Itachi took a deep breath, his chest swelling with chakra, and then released a giant fireball that soared across the lake. Sasuke watched in amazement as the ball of fire erupted from Itachi's mouth, leaving a trail of smoke in its wake.

"Now you try," Itachi said, stepping back and gesturing for them to come forward.

Naruto stepped up first, his concentration intense. He ran through the handsigns Itachi showed them, his movements swift and precise. He exhaled sharply, releasing a burst of fire from his mouth. It landed a few feet away, barely even singeing the grass.

Sasuke giggled at this.

Itachi watched him closely, his eyes scanning for any flaws in his technique. "Again," he said, his voice firm.

Naruto repeated the jutsu, this time putting more chakra into it. The fireball was bigger, but still not quite big enough to reach the other side of the lake.

Sasuke stepped up next, his eyes scanning Itachi's movements. He tried the hand signs to the best of his abilities, his movements smooth and fluid. He took a deep breath, his chest swelling with pride, and then released the jutsu.

His fireball was bigger than Naruto's, but still not quite big enough. It landed in the water with a sizzle, sending ripples across the surface.

Itachi watched them both, his eyes scanning for any flaws in their technique. "Again," he said, his voice firm.

Naruto and Sasuke took turns practicing, trying to make their fireballs bigger and more powerful. They were both exhausted, but they refused to give up.

As the sun began to set, Naruto released a fireball that was bigger than any he had created so far. It soared across the lake, landing on the other side with a deafening hiss, sending up plumes of steam and smoke.

Itachi nodded, a small smile on his lips. "Very good," he said. "You both have potential. Keep practicing, and you'll become even stronger."

Sasuke was amazed at Naruto's progress, but also a little jealous. He had the affinity for fire, he was a full blooded Uchiha. But now, Naruto was able to do something he couldn't, and it made him feel a little insecure.

Naruto could sense Sasuke's jealousy, and he tried to reassure him. "Don't worry, Sasuke," he said, grinning. "We're both in this together. We'll both get stronger, and we'll both become great shinobi."

Sasuke smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Naruto. He knew that they were both on the same path, both striving for greatness. And he knew that with Naruto by his side, he could accomplish anything.

The three boys walked back to the house of Mikoto and Fugaku. The dining room at Mikoto's house was warm and cozy, with the flickering light of candles casting a soft glow over the room. Naruto and Sasuke sat at the table, their eyes darting around the room as they waited for their hosts to arrive. Itachi, who had been busy in the kitchen, soon emerged with a tray of steaming hot food.

"Welcome, welcome," Mikoto said, as she entered the room with Fugaku. "I hope you boys are hungry."

The boys nodded eagerly, their eyes fixed on the delicious smelling food that Itachi had placed in front of them. The table was filled with all kinds of dishes, from grilled fish to steaming bowls of rice.

As they ate, the conversation turned to the boys' training. Fugaku, who was always interested in how Naruto and Sasuke were progressing, turned to Itachi and asked, "How are the boys doing in their training?"

Itachi paused for a moment, taking a sip of his tea before responding. "They're doing well," he said, his voice calm and measured. "We've been working on the fireball jutsu, and they're both making good progress."

Fugaku nodded, a sense of pride swelling in his chest. "That's good to hear," he said. "I always knew that my boys had the potential to be great shinobi."

They finished up dinner and Naruto said his goodbyes. Fugaku and Naruto walked out of the house.

Naruto and Fugaku walked out of the Uchiha Compound and into the bustling village. The sun was already set, the moon was out casting a white glow over the buildings and streets. Naruto couldn't help but feel a little uneasy as he walked next to Fugaku. He knew that the head of the Uchiha clan had mixed feelings towards him, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of being an outsider.

Fugaku was lost in thought as they walked, his mind conflicted about his feelings towards Naruto. As the head of the Uchiha clan, he had a duty to protect and guide his people. But as a human being, he couldn't help but feel a little empathy towards Naruto. It wasn't fair that the child that shared his blood was being ostracized for being half Uchiha. Because of this the clan wanted him to exile Naruto, but Fugaku couldn't do that or he'd betray his words to the Fourth. On top of that, he began to like the boy a little.

Naruto could sense the tension in Fugaku's posture and decided to break the silence. "Do you think I'll ever be accepted by the Uchiha clan?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Fugaku's response was blunt and honest. "It's not that simple, Naruto," he said. "You're not full Uchiha, and that's something that some members of the clan have a hard time accepting or will never accept. But it's not impossible. You will have to prove yourself to them even more than the regular Uchiha."

Naruto nodded, understanding the weight of Fugaku's words. He felt guilty for being the cause of so much tension and resentment within the clan. "I will," he said firmly. "I'll work harder than anyone else to prove myself."

As they walked through the village, Naruto pointed out landmarks and buildings that he enjoyed. Fugaku listened intently, trying to understand what made Naruto so different from the rest of the Uchiha clan, aside from being half Uchiha. The boy unlocked his Sharingan earlier than any Uchiha previously. And from what Akane had told him it was due to a conversation about Minato and the Clan. He couldn't deny that Naruto had a certain charisma about him, a spark that drew people towards him and a smile that was warming.

As they approached Akane's house, Naruto felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was grateful for Fugaku's honesty and understanding towards him, even if it was just a little. When Akane answered the door, she greeted Fugaku and thanked him for walking Naruto home. Naruto felt a pang of sadness as he realized that he would never have the kind of relationship with his own father as he did with Fugaku.

As Fugaku and Naruto said their goodbyes, Naruto finally found the courage to ask the question that had been nagging at him for so long. "Do you hate me for being half Uchiha?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Fugaku's response was blunt and honest. "A little," he said. "But it's not because of who you are, Naruto. It's because of the situation you've put me in. You're being trained by my eldest son, who is the clan's prodigy. The rest of the clan is jealous and resentful of you because of it. However, because you don't live in the clan compound, you need to be strong to protect your eyes. You also share blood with me and my family. Many think I'm treating you better than Izumi Uchiha, who had similar situation as yourself. Choosing between what is right for the Uchiha's dojutsu and what is right for the clan is tough. It's a hard situation to be in."

Naruto nodded, understanding the weight of Fugaku's words. He felt guilty for being the cause of so much tension and resentment within the clan. "I'm sorry," he said quietly, his eyes cast downwards. Fugaku stopped walking and placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, causing him to look up. "Don't be sorry, Naruto," he said. "You haven't done anything wrong. Just keep working hard and prove to the clan that you're worthy of their respect."The two hugged it out and Naruto ran inside with his mother.

In the projects of Konoha

Mito Uzumaki sat alone in her small, dimly lit apartment, her eyes fixed on the flickering flame of the candle in front of her. She had always been alone, ever since she was kicked out of the orphanage and forced to fend for herself on the harsh streets of Konoha. The memories of those long, lonely nights still haunted her, even now, as she sat surrounded by the few meager possessions she had managed to scrounge up over the years.

Mito knew that she was different from the other children. She had always been able to sense the fear and distrust in their eyes, even when they tried to hide it from her. It wasn't until she stumbled across a mean man who told her something she'll never forget, she felt a sense of shock and disbelief wash over her.

She was a jinchuuriki, a carrier of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

Mito had never felt more alone than she did at that moment. She knew that the villagers feared and hated the tailed beasts, and by extension, anyone who carried them. She had no family, no friends, and no hope for the future.

But then, one day, Hiruzen had found her. He had given her a small, run-down apartment and enough money to survive, and for that, Mito was grateful. She tried to make the best of her situation, spending her days reading books and teaching herself how to cook. She dreamed of one day finding a man who would love her for who she was, tailed beast and all.

But that dream seemed further away than ever. Mito was poor, uneducated, and had no social connections to speak of. She had no idea how to even begin to find a man, much less one who would accept her for who she was.

The only bright spot in her life was the occasional playdate with Naruto, a black-haired, blue-eyed boy she had met at the park. Naruto was a popular boy. He is part of the Uchiha clan That so many respect. Naruto also is the only Uchiha with Blue Eyes that turn red. She thought back to that day.

Flashback Six months ago

The sun beat down on the playground, casting the area in a warm, golden glow. Children ran and laughed, chasing each other around as they played games and had fun. Among them was Mito Uzumaki, a young girl with bright red hair and golden honey eyes. She watched as Naruto Uchiha played tag with Sakura, Choji, and Shikamaru, wishing she could join in. But she knew better than to try - she had been bullied before, and she didn't want to risk being hurt again.

But fate had other plans. As Mito sat alone on a swing, watching the other children play, she saw Kiba approaching her. He sneered at her hair and eyes, calling her names and mocking her relentlessly. Mito tried to ignore him, but it was hard. She felt tears prickling at the corners of her eyes, and she knew that if she didn't do something soon, she would break down completely.

"Your hair is so dumb and red! I bet what you look in a mirror all you see is a bottle of ketchup. But what's ketchup without mustard. Those ugly yellowish eyes are an eyesore." Kiba taunted.

Tears were streaming off Mito's face.

That was when Naruto stepped in. He had seen Kiba bullying Mito, and he wasn't going to stand for it. "Hey, Kiba!" he yelled, running up to them. "Leave her alone!"

Kiba sneered at Naruto, "Or what?" The boy asked.

Naruto activated his Sharingan. Kiba backed off. Naruto turned to Mito, offering her his hand. She hesitated for a moment, then took it, feeling a flutter in her chest as their fingers touched.

"Come on," Naruto said, grinning at her. "Let's play tag!"

Mito followed Naruto and the others as they ran around the playground, laughing and shouting. She felt a sense of exhilaration that she hadn't felt in a long time, and for a brief moment, she forgot all her worries.

As they played, Mito found herself growing closer to Naruto. He was kind and funny, always making her laugh and helping her when she stumbled. She felt a warmth in her chest whenever he looked at her, and she found herself wanting to spend more and more time with him.

When it was time to go home, Mito hugged Naruto tightly, feeling a sense of gratitude and affection that she couldn't quite put into words. She looked up at him, her eyes shining with tears. "Thank you," she whispered.

Naruto smiled and hugged her back. "No problem," he said. "We'll play again soon, okay?"

Mito nodded, feeling a sense of hope and happiness that she hadn't felt in a long time. She knew that she had made a friend in Naruto, and that meant everything to her.

As she walked away from the playground, she looked back at Naruto and smiled. She knew that no matter what happened in the future, she would always remember this day, and the bond she had formed with Naruto. It was a bond that would help her through the toughest times, and give her the strength to keep going, no matter what.

flashback end

As she sat alone in her apartment, Mito thought about Naruto and wondered if he would ever find his place in the world. She thought about her own future, and the long road ahead of her. But even in the midst of all the uncertainty and pain, she knew that she would never give up. She would keep fighting, keep struggling, until the day when she finally found the happiness and acceptance she so desperately craved.

This feels like a good place to leave it at. So, I've introduced the story and how it became what it is. Hopefully you can see the direction this story is going. Everything has been planned out already like I've said before. Naruto having all the chakra elements like that will be important for the future. It's almost like that black paper turned into a certain orb almost.

In the next chapter we go over their time as fresh Genin. Hope you enjoy the read and I'll see you in the next one.
