INT. WHITE HOUSE – DAY
PRESIDENT ULYSSES S. GRANT stands behind his desk, stern.
GRANT
Gentlemen, you're going north. Alaska. Miners are abandoning claims in droves. Reports of a... monster.
JAMES WEST and ARTEMIS GORDON exchange glances.
WEST
Alaska? Sounds invigorating.
GORDON
And potentially frostbitten.
GRANT
Something's spooking those men—and we suspect someone's profiting.
FADE OUT.
OPENING CREDITS SEQUENCE
ACT I
EXT. U.S. ARMY STEAMER "CARIBOU" – DAY
WEST and GORDON disembark, dressed for winter. They're met by CAPTAIN NAOMI RIVERS, late 20s, sharp-eyed Army scout.
RIVERS
Welcome to the last frontier. Hope you like cold.
WEST
Been through worse.
GORDON
Not without hot cocoa.
EXT. ABANDONED MINING CAMP – LATER
Scattered tools, gold flakes, untouched supplies. Everything frozen in place.
RIVERS
They left mid-shift. One man babbled about a snow demon.
GORDON
Tracks? Signs of sabotage?
RIVERS
We found these.
She holds up a sketch of HUGE FOOTPRINTS—bare, but patterned with metal etchings.
WEST
That's no bear.
ACT II
EXT. MOUNTAIN PASS – NIGHT
Our trio treks through knee-deep snow. Strange sounds echo. They reach a RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHAPEL-turned-fortress.
INT. CHAPEL LABORATORY – NIGHT
COUNT MIKHAIL ORLOV, charismatic, fanatical, welcomes them.
ORLOV
You travel far for fairy tales. May I offer tea?
He speaks English with a thick Russian accent. The lab is full of mechanical devices, gears, and weapon blueprints.
GORDON (aside to West)
These machines are... militarized.
WEST
And hiding something.
ACT III
INT. CHAPEL BASEMENT – NIGHT
Gordon sneaks into the basement. Finds a massive CAGE. Inside: the YETI, restrained with BRASS AND STEAM HARNESS.
GORDON (whispers)
Good Lord...
Orlov appears, behind him.
ORLOV
The beast is mine. A weapon of fear, forged in snow. With his help, Alaska will return to the Tsar.
Gordon tries to escape—gets KO'd by a mechanical arm trap.
INT. CHAPEL – LATER
West confronts Orlov at dinner. Stall tactic. Rivers frees Gordon. Together, they destroy the sonic trigger system that controls the Yeti.
ACT IV
EXT. DEVIL'S CROWN – NIGHT
Snowstorm intensifies. West and Orlov battle atop a frozen ledge. Orlov in an exo-suit. The Yeti, now free, watches.
ORLOV
America is weak. Alaska will be reclaimed in fire and frost!
Yeti ROARS. Turns on Orlov. A brutal fight. Orlov is thrown off the ledge into an avalanche.
WEST (to Yeti)
You're free now.
The Yeti nods... and vanishes into the snow.
EPILOGUE
INT. STEAMER "CARIBOU" – DAY
Gordon sips hot tea, showing off a new invention: a steam-heated grappling umbrella.
GORDON
Should've brought this earlier.
WEST
Could've used it against the Count.
RIVERS
What'll you do if the Yeti returns?
GORDON
Offer him cocoa.
TELEGRAM ARRIVES: "URGENT. NEW ORLEANS. HAUNTED RIVERBOAT. MISSING SENATOR."
