So here is where we get the Punch Out Boxers into the story as Great Tiger seeks the answers to King Hippo's kidnapping and with the Punch Out Boxers they probably provide some much needed reinforcements as four turtles and two nerdy super villains probably aren't enough to help Buttercup get past the Spammers' defenses also the Boxers as celebrity athletes as opposed to Mutants or Criminals can go places the others can't
For a few moments the few Boxers were just staring at the news report on the TV their faces pale with horror...Who would kidnap King Hippo and why?
Glass Joe grabbed his hair and began muttering to himself in French he was beginning to hyperventilate on the verge of a nervous breakdown until his friend Von Kaiser grabbed his and gave him a smack across the face shouting "GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF JOE!"
Meanwhile Great Tiger quickly sensed there was something supernatural about King Hippo's abduction the Indian Boxer quickly ran to a supply closet and closed the door...He needed privacy for this…
He sat down on the floor crossed legged in the dark and began to meditate...Asking the Spiritual Forces around him for help in finding King Hippo…
Following King Hippo's train itself seemed to be blocked...Something with a much more powerful mind than his own was blocking Great Tiger's attempts to find King Hippo.
So Great Tiger asked the spirit world for someone who could help them find King Hippo and a strange image came to his mind...It looked like a black pig wearing a blue dress! Great Tiger was taken aback for a few moments because he wasn't expecting an Anthropomorphic Animal having never seen one before and his culture regarded Pigs as unclean animals, but Great Tiger knew desperate times call for desperate measures and he was beginning to get the sense that whatever was blocking his mind from finding King Hippo was something that was strong against human minds so maybe an Animal Mind was something it had no defense against!
So as Buttercup was having lunch with the Turtles, Scarecrow and Riddler (Riddler had ordered the turtles a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, Scarecrow had some of his leftover fried rice for lunch) Buttercup had told Riddler of the strange dream about the brain in the jar telling her to buzz off last night...And Riddler was disturbed by what was described and they were discussing if the dream was literal that these Spammers were a bunch of cyborgs, brains-in-jars attached to robots or if this was like Scarecrow's fear gas hallucinations like the person in charge was a mostly normal but probably psychically inclined human who created fearful images in the dream message in an attempt to frighten Buttercup away.
Buttercup had a sinking feeling that the brains in the jars were indeed very real as she finished her salad really wishing she had instead asked for pasta and marinara sauce because she could really use some comfort food right now…
But then she suddenly got a splitting headache! The Mutant Pig squealed shrilly as she clutched her head making nearly everyone jump out of their skins...Before she fainted collapsing onto the floor alarming everyone!
So kind of getting back into this story after taking a break to concentrate on the Fictionpress version of this story I need to think about the conversation between Buttercup and Great Tiger so saving it for next chapter
