"Since running into Kendra at some point is inevitable in Sunnydale, especially if she sees any of us dealing with vampires, it means we need to tell her about us." Xander addressed the others in his group, along with Cordelia and Oz, who'd all gathered at the Chase's pool house that evening.

"She'll tell her Watcher." Cordelia stated. "I don't see Kendra keeping it to herself."

"Well, that depends on if she got in trouble for not telling her Watcher that Buffy was involved with Angel." Xander answered. "Buffy mentioned that Kendra was planning to keep it to herself, even though she thought it was really weird and she didn't understand why Buffy would choose Angel, a vampire, to fall in love with."

"I'm betting she did." Heidi said. "Get in trouble, I mean. If her Watcher told her the reason they're being assigned to Sunnydale is because the curse broke and everything that came after it, she's probably feeling bad for not reporting it."

"Which would probably mean she wouldn't be inclined to keep anything from her Watcher." Tor agreed. "It might be the one and only time she kept something from him and doing so blew up in hers and everyone else's faces. Not saying it's her fault or anything, just saying she might feel like it is."

"Any chance the Watcher will enroll her in school or let her hang out at the Bronze?" Rhonda asked, stretching a bit and reaching for some of the snacks Lupe had left on the coffee table.

"Probably not, but that doesn't mean we can't invite her to the Bronze." Xander replied. "We just tell her it's also a favorite hangout spot for vampires."

"Which it is." Kyle agreed. "We've dealt with more than a few around there ourselves."

"Spending some time there and with us could help her loosen up." Cordelia suggested. "Plus, she'll probably spend time with Buffy, being they're both Slayers and this Mr. Zabuto is going to be both of their Watchers for awhile, until they assign another to Buffy. Which means we can't avoid Buffy." She addressed the elephant in the room.

"I can't avoid her, I know that." Xander glared at the ceiling. "We have classes together and there are very, very few places to hang out together in Sunnydale, the Bronze being the primary place, so avoiding her isn't possible. But I'm not ready to talk to her. Not saying the rest of you have to avoid her or not talk to her, just saying, I'm not currently talking to her."

"We haven't ever had a reason to talk to her." Tor pointed out with a smirk. "Don't see that changing anytime soon. Unless, she's in trouble or something. I used to be a bully, than I got bodyjacked by a hyena spirit and connected to you. You, who never let bullies get away with bullying and have this insane need to help people in trouble, which you seemed to have infected us with, along with this seed of Magic. So if I see her in trouble, I don't see myself just walking passed."

"Yeah, me either." Xander admitted. "I don't want her dead, I just don't want to talk to her until I'm not so angry any more. Cordy's right, I'll get there. Eventually."

"Willow won't be released for at a few weeks." Oz said quietly, changing the subject. "And we can't visit her in her room yet because they're worried about infection in the burned areas. But they will be arranging an intercom system so we can talk to her. Or rather, Mr. Chase is with a generous donation. But talking to her won't be easy since they need to keep her on pain meds to control the pain and they're making it hard for her to even think clearly, let alone talk." The normally monosyllabic little musician informed them. "You're not the only one who's angry."

"No, I'm not." Xander agreed, laying his hand on Oz's shoulder and squeezing. "We just have to remind ourselves, Buffy didn't do anything out of malice. She didn't fall in love with Angel just to hurt anyone and she had no idea the curse would break if they had sex and she was still seeing Angel's face when she let Angelus go. We have a right to be angry, we have a right to our feelings, but so does she. And right now she's hurting too. I think knowing all of that will eventually help me get passed it all, I just need time to get there."

"It helps knowing Angelus is gone for good." Oz admitted. "He's the one who caused the damage."

"Yeah, Buffy admitted she saw the truth of him in Pylea and assured me some demons in Pylea destroyed him. Apparently they shot him in the butt several time too, which makes me want to laugh." The thought put a big smile on Xander's face.

"Was their aim that bad?" Kyle asked.

"Apparently not, according to Buffy, that one demon that told me I missed his heart because it wasn't in his chest was referring to the fact that Pylean demons have their heart in their butt. They shot Angel in the butt because that's where they thought his heart was. Than one of them remembered that humans have their hearts in their chests and vampires used to be human and they shot him in the right spot to destroy him. But not before he got shot in the butt several times."

Yeah, even the normally expressionless Oz had a huge grin on his face picturing Angelus getting shot in the butt.
