Chapter 4 Not one of us.

'Okay Zira, we are very much alone. Tell me about the roar.' Kion told Zira.

'Don't worry Kion. I'll tell you all you need.' Zira told him. 'But first, you need to tell me. Who's side are you on. Lions, or hyena's.'

'I'm on the side of the circle of life. And the animals who respect it.' Kion stated strongly.

Zira sighed in annoyance. 'You do take after your father, don't you.'

Kion followed Zira through a narrow tunnel. Behind that was a small area. Hillside on one side, air on the other. (A big valley.)

'See Kion, I was hoping you'd side with lions. With me. But if that's your answer.' Zira said.

The two walked onto the small area, Kion spotting two young adult female lions now standing in the path of the small tunnel.

'Zira, what's going on.' Kion asked Zira, not very kindly.

'It's your choice Kion. With me, or, against me!' Zira said with a smile on her face. 'But if you're against me, you'll never leave the out lands.'

'Tell your lionesses to back down. (2 turned to 4 female lionesses.) you know I have the roar, and you know what it can do.' Kion ordered Zira.

'I used to know someone else who had to roar, and when he used it against lions. He lost it forever.' Zira told a Kion.

'Scar.' Kion thought out loud.

'That's right. Scar and I were close. Very close. He taught me everything about the roar. If it weren't for your father, he'd still be king of the pride lands!'

'Scar was never the true king!' Kion exclaimed strongly.

'How dare you!' Zira said angrily. 'Lionesses, attack!'

The four lions closed in on Kion, Kion having no where to go.

'Wait.' Zira ordered his lionesses, who immediately stopped in their places. 'I'll forgive you for that little outburst, Kion, if you join me!' Zira said. 'Think about it whilst I fetch my children. I want them to hear your decision.'

Kion stood his ground and looked at her with an uninterested look. Zira left the area, the 4 lionesses standing closely by Kion, waiting for their moment.

Zira walked back to the watering hole where Nuka, Kovu, Vitani and Jasiri were still awaiting what would happen next. Just as Nuka decided he had enough and attack the hyena, Zira called his name, showing her return.

'Where is Kion.' Jasiri asked Zira in an order.

'Kion and I have reached an agreement.' Zira told Jasiri.

'And what's that.' Jasiri said, still not trusting the lioness.

'We agreed that the watering hole belongs to lions. Only!' Zira said,

'What, Kion would never agree to that!' Jasiri said, knowing Kion.

'He's a lion my dear, and we lions, stick together.' Zira said. 'Now, leave, and do not return!' She said furiously.

'Fine, I'll go.' Jasiri said, backing down and running away.

'Keeping me here makes no sense, I just wanted you lions to share the water.' Lion told the lionesses keeping guard over him.

'You can tell Zira that when she gets back.' One of the lionesses said.

'I don't think I want to wait around that long.' Kion responded.

Lion ran into the lioness and running past her, it feels like Messi about to score a goal. One down, the other flying right past him and going to take a nap because it's head has hit a wall. Buuuut unlike Messi, Kion I guess, forgot how to count. Because there were two more lionesses to go, and they were stronger than Kion. Kion tried to stop but failed, the lionesses pinning him down. 'Nice try. Now why don't we just wait quietly for Zira to return.' The lioness said.

Meanwhile Jasiri was still leaving the territory on her way back home when suddenly, she came across the lion guard.

'What are you guys doing here.' Jasiri asked, not expecting them here.

'Kion is in trouble, Zira is bad!' Bunga said.

'Really really bad.' Fuli told Jasiri.

'I knew something was up! We need to go now!' Jasiri told the guard. 'Follow me!' She said. The entire guard following her.

The lionesses out Kion into a corner, as Zira came with her cubs.

'So helpless without his roar.' Zira said, laughing loudly.

'Mom, what's going on. Kion said he'd talk to Simba about letting us back into the pride lands, why can't we be friends!' Kovu told his mother.

'This wasn't my choice Kovu. He chose hyena's over us!' Zira told his son. 'Without the roar, Kion is harmless. And without him, the pride lands stands defenseless. Nuka attempts to pin down Kion, but fails miserably.

'This is your last chance Kion. Do you stand with me, or against me?' Zira asked Kion one last time.

'I'd never stand on your side Zira!' Kion told Zira.

'Wrong answer!' Zira yelled. 'LIONESSES, ATTACK!'
