Chapter 1635 Serenity
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
In the morning Sota was hanging out with Tari together as they two played games in a room.
"Now this is fun."
Tari smiles at Sota.
"So that's your boyfriend?"
She flinches and they looked at her robot arm.
"Hey there." It talked.
"Not now clench." said Tari.
"You have a talking hand?" Sota said.
Tari sighed, "Its a long story."
Her arm chirped up, "That's right an epic story if I do say so myself."
"Well..." Derf comes up from behind Sota. "That's something."
"Speak for yourself your a talking sword Derf." Sota said.
"A talking sword." awed Tari, while Clench 'looked' in interests.
"Yeah i'm Derflinger. Sota's partner."
"Nice to meet you." Tari said.
"Well it's nice to see i'm not the only talking thing around." Clench said.
"Yeah, surprising." Derf said.
They saw Kazuo walking down the halls and they stared.
"Is he... Okay?" Tari asked.
"He just has been dealing with those Corruptus guys." Sota frowns.
"Oh those weirdos." Clench said.
Kazuo kept walking and he shivers remembering them.
"It won't change." He heard Negative Mickey. "I am still here."
Kazuo holds his head. "Shut up. Shut up."
Shiro came. "Kazuo."
He looks at him. "It's scary."
"I know, just try and avoid his words." Shiro said.
Kazuo nodded before going to his room.
Shiro looks outside a window. "Don't worry Uzi, i'll find you."
At the island
Uzi wakes up and yawns raising her arms, she stretches wearing a white shirt and sits up. She felt a weight and saw Haydee hugging her in bed.
"She always does this." She mutters.
Uzi managed to get out slowly and goes outside. She was wearing her clothes and looks up to see the sky.
"It's different living on this island instead of back home. It's always so sunny." She said.
After living in a world filled with snow seeing all of this just makes her feel weirded out.
"Well it's a least nicer, I guess this is what humans call a paradise. Whatever they consider that." She shrugs.
Uzi then also wonders how Haydee even came here. She knows the other robot was living here for a very long time.
Then Uzi remembers the other female that reached out to her while in space, she looked like a robot so she wonders who it was.
"She was so different."
Uzi kept going and she felt someone watching her and saw Haydee behind her posing.
"Not again!" Uzi runs as Haydee chases her.
With Hank
He was walking around the hospital Zack was visiting now.
"I heard he got three girlfriends here. I wonder..."
He stops and saw a girl looking down on a bed, she has long brown hair.
"Hey you okay?" He goes to check on her.
She got surprised. "Oh yes, it's just bad news."
He frowns. "I'm sorry, my name is Hank."
"I'm Serenity."
"What's going to happen?" He asked her.
"Well, the doctors said my vision is getting worse. So I might go blind if I don't get the funds. But I don't have enough for surgery." Serenity got sad.
Hank frowns seeing her like that, and couldn't let her suffer.
"Than let me pay for it." He said.
She got surprised. "What? But it's expensive and we just met."
"I would do the same for anyone in need. Since I can't let someone suffer." He smiles.
Serenity was surprised by his kindness and hugs him. "Thank you."
Hank hugs her back since he wants to protect her. Not because for anything in return but it's simply the right thing to do.
Zack saw it from the door.
"Well looks like he found someone to look after. He would be happy since the girls say she's always sad about losing her vision. I would have asked for someone to help but he beat me to it."
Zack shrugs and he walks away, Layla was at the desk and saw Zack pass by.
"Hey Zack." She waves.
"Hey Layla." He waves back at her.
"Say I heard you met the girls own moms." She said.
"Oh yeah we had a concidental meeting." He said.
"Well... Wanna meet mine?" Layla offered.
"Huh?" He got surprised.
"I can prepare a meeting later." She said.
"Well... Okay." Zack shrugs.
She smiles. "Great, see you at my place."
"Your one excited girl." He commented.
"Can you blame me? We finally found the man that can match us." She said.
He kisses her cheek. "Okay, love you too."
She kisses him too before he had to leave.
"Also that girl, she's lucky to have a guy saving her." Layla goes to ready a magazine.
She has seen Serenity for some time and felt pitty, so the girl got lucky to find a man that is willingly to save her eye sight.
"That surgery is not cheap. Yet she found a boy, maybe they'll become more." She talks to herself.
"Vero and Mona better be ready, we got a big night with Zack." She smiles.
Hank spent some time with Serenity to keep her company and she told him how her parents got divorced a long time ago and she's living alone with her mother.
She has a brother but he's on another side and has been trying to help but she can ease his mind with the help she's getting from Hank.
"Your brother must really care for you." He said.
She nodded. "Yes, now he doesn't have to worry about me going blind."
He patted her back as the two smiled at each other.
She can feel safe with Hank and the more he talks to her the more her fears go away.
"I'll always be here when you need me Serenity." He said.
She nodded. "Thank you Hank."
Note: Hank met Serenity and has managed to save her eye sight, with the others having different moments.
