WOW ! ok so I really didn't want to split up the last two eps of Part 1 into a part 1 and part 2 situation but this chapter was getting LONG and I didn't want to rush what I have planned along with concept for the last ep which (Sneak Peak) Heavily revolves around the Captain Concept so Yeah sorry. ANYWAY ! I hope you guys enjoyed Episode 4 and I hope you guys enjoyed the respect I gave to Hawk becasue our boy deserves it

"Sekai Taikai is coming !" Johnny yelled as everyone stood tall grouped together
"It's up to us to pick out our six most badass fighters !" Johnny said walking through the bunch
"And there are no easy decisions" Daniel continued as he to walked among everyone
"We all know you all want to go to Barcelona"
"Some of you think your Shoo Ins" Johnny said as Miguel and Sam stood strong practicing their Kata while everyone watched
"That You're at the top of your game, that nothing or no one can stop you"
Daniel and Johnny watched Robby, Tory and Eli outshine all the other students among the training exercise, Watching as they continued to jab the punching bags in front of them making all the students come to a small halt as even some grew glum faces not liking their chances
"Some of you think that you're the underdogs, and you don't know if you have what it takes, and that you feel left out"
Demetri's face only dropped as he continued to watch Miguel, Robby and Eli lead the charge for the boys training. A sorrowful feeling pitted within him as he noticed just how much he was always stuck behind them
Devon wasn't far off as Sam and Tory lead the girls section, she fiddled with her hands only growing more and more anxious watching the two female leads of the Dojo training everyone
"But it's a level playing field. Anything can happen" Johnny confirmed
"Each and everyone of you has a shot" Daniel said
Within their training exercise everyone watched Robby and Anthony spar one another upon the stage. Seeing how Robby threw strike after strike against Anthony and watching in surprise at just how much Anthony was keeping up. Blocking each of Robby's strikes before jabbing him in the chest with Miyagi-Do
The attack surprised Daniel and especially Robby. Leaving Robby to feel where Anthony hit him with a smirk making Anthony Immediately smile and nod to Daniel
"Now is NOT the time to puss out !" Johnny confirmed walking among the student and mindlessly throwing a strike to Bert leaving Bert to easily block it
"Even though we're competing against each other, we are still one Dojo. One Family, One Unit and it's time we bring out the best in all of us" Daniel said as he watched all the students perform their Kata leaving him to observe
"So, which one of you has what it takes to be in our top six ?" Johnny asked as everyone continued to train Harder than they ever have

Walking into school with smiles on their faces, Miguel, Tory, Eli, Robby and Sam had continued their conversation
"Ok so who do you think is getting the last roster spot ?" Miguel asked as the group came in the building and started walking down the hall
With the announcement being made that only 6 of them would be going to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai an unspoken precedent has been made that they would be the top 5
Already filled with the recent All Valley Champions in Miguel, Eli and Tory, Robby and Sam being the runner ups made it more clear that the skill gap from them to the rest of the dojo was obvious who would be picked
"Ok Honestly Kenny has my vote" Robby admitted making the others chuckle
"He's a quick learner, he's fast, aggressive might just be exactly what he need in the tournament"
"Says his personal Karate Mentor" Eli stated making Robby roll his eyes with a smirk
"It's easily Mitch, come on Sam back me up. Big Guy got to the Semi's last year hell he was a big help to Eagle-Fang in the tournament"
"Yeah after Sam and Devon did all the work" Tory corrected her Boyfriend
"It's gonna be Devon, if one thing's true she can kickass when the times needed"
"Well whoever it is we'll except them with open arms because at the end of the day they will be our teammate" Miguel smiled much to the other's agreement as they continued to walk down the hall
"Unless they lose their first round" Eli stated making them all laugh
The Dream teams conversation hadn't gone unnoticed as Demetri and Devon overheard their conversation and they weren't happy to say the least
"Let's hope there's a lesson in Humility, maybe that'll knock them down a peg" Devon groaned as she and Demetri continued to walk
"Well you can't blame, With The amount of ass they've all kicked and victories they've claimed. They've earned the right to already claim those spots" Demetri said much to Devon's disagreement
"God you all sound like you've already given up. Even if your right there's still one more spot up for grabs it's anybody's race"
"I'm not giving up. I'm just saying….don't get your hopes up that's all"
Demetri's statement only made Devon scoff, holding her bag straps tighter as she turned to look at Demetri
"What ? you're saying the last spot's yours ?"
Demetri only tilted his head, sucking in his lip making Devon scoff more
"Unbelievable" Devon mumbled leaving Demetri to explain his reasoning
"I'm just saying going on the Karate Hierarchy we've built up me being the 6th spot only makes sense, I'm at the fine and direct line of just good enough and not too high to be labled "one of the big ones", I was Miyagi-Do's third official student, Robby and Sam did train me personally, and my Karate longevity is far suppressed anyone else in the run. Oh ! not to mention I made the Semi Finals in the All Valley. Plus me going to the Sekai Taikai with Eli is great for our MIT application"
Coming to a halt, forcibly by Devon who just jumped in front of Demetri making him jump. The smaller teen just held a face of aggression and determination as she stuck her finger out at Demetri poking him in the chest
"Well guess what Alexopoulos, you weren't the only one who made the Semi Finals in the All Valley, and if you think your entitled to the 6th spot because of your longevity well then you got a rude awakening because I'm coming" Devon warned
"That roster spot is mine !"
Poking Demetri in the chest once more Devon had stomped away leaving Demetri to groan as he rubbed his chest going "oww"
Rubbing his chest one last time Demetri simply shook his head and continued to walk missing Anthony and Kenny who had their own takes on the roster situation
"Ok here's what I'm thinking LaRusso" Kenny said his arm slung around Anthony's shoulder leaving the boy to chuckle as he was surprisingly all ears
"We outperform Hawk or Tory, I take their Roster spot and you get the last spot then we both go to the Sekai Taikai" Kenny suggested simply making Anthony laugh as he shook his head
"While I don't wanna doubt that you can outperform the former all Valley Champ, I also appreciate your confidence that I can even get the last spot"
Kenny chuckled slapping Anthony on his chest
"Hey don't sell yourself short, We've all noticed just how fast you've adapted to Karate man, It also helps you get personal training privilege from Yo Daddy and King and Queen Miyagi. Man I'm telling you this in yo blood" Kenny stated only making Anthony shake his head with a laugh
"You remember what Sensei Said" Anthony began grasping at Anthony's shoulders as they came to a halt in the Hallway
"It's anyone's game. All we gotta do is take out one of the Big Ones and were in"
"Oh yeah ? how do you even plan on taking out Miguel, Or Robby hmm ? I'd like to see you try and beat Sam or Tory and I'm sure your nose still hurts from that kick Hawk landed"
Shaking his head with his own self proclaimed laughter Kenny soon looked back at Anthony
"Ok, Cheap shot I get it. But lighten up LaRusso"
Slapping Anthony in the chest one last time Kenny only smiled
"I've taken shots at the Higher ups before, and this time I'll make sure this one lands" Kenny said his voice full of confidence. Confidence Anthony wished he had but he lived in something called Reality
And in reality, he just grabbed at his backpack and continued to walk down the hallway trying to get to class
Continuing to walk down the hall, Miguel caught a glimpse of the lady in his life growing his smile even more
"I'll catch you guys later" Miguel told Robby, Eli, Sam and Tory waving to them before breaking off to Moon who was standing at her locker looking intensity at her notebook
That was before Miguel had came up and snatched the book from her hand making her go "Heyyy" in her little cute voice he loved so very much
With a grin plastered all over his face Miguel looked down at her notebook to see what she was intensity looking at. And turns out it was just a series of fashion drawings. Different dresses, and sweaters along with other series of clothes to go with
"Hey these are pretty good, Correction they're really good babe" Miguel said making Moon chuckle as she scratched herself with her pen
"Thanks…..There just some ideas I brainstormed for my Portfolio" Moon said giving more context on what was bothering her as she grabbed her notebook back
"I don't know I've just been so concerned about my Portfolio for College…..Yasmine told me not to worry but…..God I just wish I had something hell ANYTHING ! to show for that could better my application chance….I've been stuck"
"Worrying about your application ?"
Moon just nodded her head
Letting out a small sigh, Miguel folded his arms before leaning against the nearby locker
"I wish I could help,Hell I wish we could talk more"
"No no Honey it's ok" Moon Immediately cooed, grabbing his arm with her free hand
"You've been busy with the tournament, it's only getting closer and closer. You need to devote all of your free time in training"
"I still wish we were able to hang out more, maybe I could help you with your problem. You'd be a really good distraction away from Karate"
"Ohh, So I'm a distraction huh" Moon smirked making Miguel chuckle
"You know what I meant, We just found out only 6 of us are gonna be able to go to the Sekai Taikai and it's had all of us on edge, things have been getting pretty…tense to say the least" Miguel admitted making Moon nod her head
"But your fine right" Moon smiled lightly shoving him making Miguel laugh
"Yeah….yeah I'm fine. But I'd be more fine if I could help you with your little art project" Miguel stated with a small grin
"You should seriously make something and show it off, it could boost your portfolio. Like a sweater or shirt hell why don't make my YaYa a new coat"
Moon couldn't stop laughing at Miguel's ideas trying to cheer her up. Always the helpful one even in his own problems
"I wish you could've made our Gi's" Miguel sighed as he folded his arms
"Having your Design shown off to the world at the Sekai Taikai would knock the application people in New York off their feet. Seeing us compete in your customized Gi's"
Miguel's statement only left Moon to bit her lip in thought before she had shook her head and grabbed Miguel's arm lacing her fingers with her boyfriend right as the bell rang making them look up
"Alright enough talk about the future mister" Moon smiled making him chuckle before she leaned up to kiss him
"How about we stay in the present and don't be late to class"
"Sounds like a plan to me"

Walking through the LaRusso Auto building Daniel raised a heavy eyebrow as he turned the corner and walked into a new office in the building where he found Johnny sitting at his Desk
YES JOHNNY HAD A DESK HELL HE HAD AN OFFICE !
It still confused and biggest Daniel
"Ok how the hell do you have your own office ?" Daniel said not asked in complete confusion as Johnny kicked his feet up on his desk while he continued to write on his notepad
"Like it ? Yeah Amanda gave it to me, said no one was using this empty space and figured it should've gone to me. See I got my own name plaque and everything" Johnny smiled pointing at the wooden plaque that said Mr Lawrence Co CEO making Daniel roll his eyes
"We can deal with this later, and your not a CEO hell your barley an employee" Daniel said groaning as he sat down at the chair across from Johnny
"Ehh I don't think so, LaRusso. We're partners so that means what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. So technically half of this business is mine" Johnny explained only leaving Daniel more confused as it was visibly shown upon his face along with the visible fear that Johnny was taking this "Partnership" to literal
"Hey, what do you think of Lawrence and LaRusso Auto ? huh" Johnny smiled making Daniel shake his head
"Yeah We chop ! down the prices and kick the shit ! out of the competition"
"Johnny"
"Now we're obviously gonna have to rebrand. My name goes first"
"Johnny"
"And we can keep giving out Bonsai Trees but what do you think about giving away Pet Eagle's ?"
"Johnny"
"Nah you're right too much only one can stay. Sorry LaRusso but the Bonsai's gotta go"
"JOHNNY !" Daniel yelled finally shutting Johnny up as Daniel had simply huffed his breathe and fixed his tie
"Look we can discuss all this…..never" Daniel began making Johnny roll his eyes
"But we need to address the most important matter at hand right now, We NEED to determine our top 6"
Seeing Johnny let out his very visible sigh as he took his feet off the desk. Daniel knew he was holding this off just as much as he was.
In all fairness it was a difficult topic to talk about. Everyone in the dojo deserves to go to the Sekai Taikai but only six can go. Choosing Six Students out of everyone was practically impossible there were so many good options
"Ok I know this is challenging but I've already made my list, maybe this can put us in the right direction" Daniel said pulling out a piece of paper and giving it to Johnny where he quickly ready the names listed from best to worst
"Robby, Sam, Miguel, Demetri. Ok Well I already hate it" Johnny said making Daniel roll his eyes
"Wait ? Your fifth pick is Hawk ?" Johnny noted looking up at Daniel in heavy disagreement
"The hell man, he's the current Champ and proved he's a master in Miyagi-Do ?"
"Hawk's skills are completely undeniable but come on Johnny you you have to admit. Ever since Tory joined the Dojo he's been reverting to his old ways"
"What being a badass ? and striking first yeah that worked so bad in the tournament" Johnny said making Daniel sigh through his nose
"And where the hell's Tory ? you put Anthony above her !"
Daniel diverged his eyes making Johnny snort as he through the paper back at him
"Come on LaRusso are you trying to make the Sekai Taikai a LaRusso family vacation ? the girl's a beast"
"Again Tory's great but is she balanced enough and committed to giving herself fully to Miyagi-Do. She has a tendency of lashing out"
"You know I'm starting to get fed up with you" Johnny said making Daniel chuckle
"Tory's in no questions asked. Miyagi himself would've ranked her even above you. The guy wasn't afraid to knock a few skulls around now and then….mine included"
"Alright you're so passionate about this topic let me see your list" Daniel said making Johnny huff his breath as he Immediately grabbed a paper off his desk before confidently handing it to Daniel with a smirk
"Now this is a team of Champions" Johnny confidently said with a grin but Daniel only raised his eyebrows once he read the paper
"Johnny, this just a list of takeout places ?" Daniel stated flipping the paper around to show Johnny himself and Immediately the blonde snatched the paper out of his hands before digging in his pocket to pull out a crumpled up paper
"Oh my bad here, there you go this is my list" Johnny said making Daniel once again roll his eyes before he began to read his list in order from greatest to worst
"Miguel, Sam, Hawk, Robby, Tory. Fair" Daniel said pursing his lips with a head tilt
But his equal agreement had officially ended once he saw Devon's name as number 6
"Ok why is Devon on here ?" Daniel said making Johnny scrunch his face
"What do you mean ? The girl's a total badass ! she made the Semi Finals her first year and proved she can take on bigger opponents"
"She also just started Karate" Daniel stated making Johnny groan
"She's still completely new when it comes to Miyagi-Do"
"Ok and so is Anthony but that didn't stop you from putting his name on your list !" Johnny pointed out making Daniel groan as he threw the paper on the desk
"We're not using your list. Demetri's goes" Daniel said
"And we're not using yours. Devon goes" Johnny said back
"Ok look clearly, we have our own biases" Daniel began making Johnny nod his head as he completely agreed
"We gotta figure out some way to get this settled"
Johnny opened his mouth but Daniel had Immediately beat him to it
"And before you say it no you and I are not fighting again" Daniel said making Johnny click his tongue with a groan
"Ok what about the kids ?" Johnny proposed
"Cutthroat. No-hold-barred Battle Royale. The last six standing go to Barcelona only the strongest survive"
"Yeah sure, that's exactly what we need. Everyone showing up with black eyes and broken limbs. No, we need to find a fair solution. What we would need is a Karate expert, Someone who doesn't know the kids."
Daniel's statement left both of them to just think and start brainstorming but something soon came to Daniel, making him scrunch his face as he soon looked at Johnny with pretty Ill intentions

Introducing himself to everyone Mike Barnes held a heavy and intense glare as he looked at all the Students
"Everyone please welcome our guest, Sensei Barnes" Daniel introduced
Immediately whispers and murmurs were passed around but Barnes stopped them quickly
"SILENCE !" he yelled shutting everyone up
"I like this guy, good call LaRusso" Johnny said tapping Daniel on his chest making him chuckle
"In order to keep things unbiased we brought in Sensei Barnes to observe then select our Top Six" Daniel confirmed making those who felt confident smirk
"Great just another guy we gotta impress" Eli whispered to Robby making him smile as they fist bumped
"During my years as the Tournament Terror, All I wanted was to be in the Sekai Taikai" Barnes admitted
"...But I blew my chance" he said glancing over to Daniel before looking back at the students
"I'm here to ensure that you maximize yours, Everyone I know who is participated in this has Horror Stories" Barnes began stepping down off the stage as he walk through the sea of students
"This thing is intense ! Unpredictable ! People have died MOVE !" he yelled making the boy he walked by jump and flinch
"Who's ready for that ?"
"Wait, ready for the Tournament ? or to die ?" Demetri asked and no one gave him a clear answer only scaring him more
"I will do to you what the Sekai Taikai will do. I will surprise you with tests. I will push you to your limits and if any of you delicate flowers feel like going to your Sensei's to cry. DON'T. I've been given full Authority for these eliminations"
"Selections" Daniel nervously corrected
'Let's try and keep things positive"
"Hey, You came to me. The Deal was my way or the highway" Barnes said making Daniel quiet as he only stood next to Johnny
"GET ON THE SPARRING DECK ! let's see which one of you is the best"
Everyone just looked at one another
"NOW !"
Immediately everyone moved going atop the deck with mumbles and murmurs while Daniel and Johnny just looked at each other possibly regretting this
Almost telepathically Johnny and Daniel talked by looking at one another seeing who would step down to talk to him but Johnny soon had enough of the back and forth and just pushed Daniel down the steps making him sigh as he caught his feet before walking up to Barnes with a cleared throat
"he-Hey Sensei Barnes….Mike We-"
"Hey this place looks different the last time I was here" Mike pointed out with his arms folded
Immediately the flashbacks of Mike assaulting him in the Dojo came too simply making Daniel shake his head
"Yeah" Barnes smiled
"It's good to be back"
With that Barnes simply walked away leaving Daniel to sigh and shake his head
"Yeah what could possibly go wrong ?"
"To survive the first round you will need to show me excellence and speed !" Barnes said as soon enough everyone found themselves trying to catch loose Chickens among the Dojo
"THIS IS INSANE !" Devon groaned as she tried to grab a Chicken only to miss it
"THIS IS CRAZY !" Chris agreed lunging to Grab a Chicken only to fall on the ground
"SOMEONE GET ME SOME BARBECUE SAUCE !" Mitch yelled
Watching the events unfold Mike continued to jot down in his notebook
"Strength and aggression !"
Smashing through the wooden boards presented to them Hawk and Tory had both made their own impressive piles of boards ending with a final punch directly through a wooden plank snapping them in half much to Barnes's satisfaction as he nodded his head with a smirk before writing on his notebook again
"Endurance !"
Doing wall sits on the Wooden fence as they held up a heavy rock within their hands Mitch, Kenny, Big Red and Chris visibly showed they were having a hard time staying afloat and Devon wasn't doing any better
Only Robby and Sam showed to be the ones prevailing as they both had their eyes closed in a meditation like state taking deep calming breaths as they didn't even shake
Jotting down something on his notebook Barnes nodded his head before walking away making Devon groan with a headshake
"And most importantly Teamwork !"
Eli Immediately caught the kick that Kenny gave Sam watching her back as he threw it away while Sam had swept Edwin's foot right when he tried to Kick Eli before the two went back to back doing a cartwheel that forced the hoard of students to break up
Miguel, Robby and Tory proved to me a powerful trio as well as Miguel had grabbed Tory's hands swinging her so that she could knock a couple of students away before Tory grabbed Chris's arm swinging him to Robby so that Robby could duck under launching him off the stage
Seeing the team, work in tight coordination and tandem Barnes continued to write in his notebook getting Demetri's attention as Demetri only sighed shaking his head before getting into his fighting position try to make his mark
The test throughout the day had only continued pushing everyone to their limits
Demetri showed his strength trying to break more boards
Eli and Tory showed their endurance and Balance by staying aboard the dock within the Koi Pond as things were being thrown at them
Miguel showed his speed and agility by catching and blocking every ball shot at him
One by one everyone started to fall with the wall sits starting with Mitch, Then Chris, Then Big Red, Then Kenny leaving Devon who was a shaking mess as she looked over to Sam and Robby who still were completely still
Seeing their claiming states put her off balance as she had quickly fell dropping her rock deeming Sam and Robby the victories
Breaking through all his boards Anthony Immediately smiled high fiving Robby and Eli while Barnes finished his page before walking away leaving Daniel to smile while Anthony himself was pretty proud of his work
Trying to chase all the Chickens Kenny was actually the first to pick one up making all the students trying stop while Barnes simply shot a thumbs up making Kenny smile while Devon and Demetri groaned
Different duo's paired together on stage showing how they would react i canario
Hawk and Tory simply smirked at the uneven numbers proving that being outnumbered wasn't a challenge at all, even enjoying the challenge as Barnes watched the duo take on everyone making him smirk at their aggression
Sam and Robby paired together working in circular tandem, forming a strong defensive circle that no one could break making Daniel and Johnny smile as they clapped their hands
Miguel and Demetri worked together taking out any trouble with ease but it was very clear that Miguel was doing most of the work outshining Demetri
Anthony and Devon worked just fine proving that they had what it took to survive the situation even if they didn't win as fast as the others
Chris and Bert had the bright idea of Bert getting on Chris's back while rapidly kicking his legs as Chris twirled him around and it only ended in Bert throwing up off the stage
The training and testing had everyone tired and gasping for air as they stood together lined up with Barnes giving his final words
"Congratulations, You didn't die" Barnes reassured as everyone still took their heavy breaths
"Still, Half of you wouldn't last one match at the Sekai Taikai. To the 12 who might. Join me up here when I call your name. Depending on when your names called you will have proven to me how much you've impressed me today" Barnes stated making everyone's hearts drop as this was it
This was the deciding factor
Looking at the sea of tired students only one stood among them, not showing any signs of tiredness. Only ready to keep going
And it's why he impressed him the most
"Hawk" Barnes said first making all eyes on Eli as even he was surprised
Eli hadn't even registered the moment, needing the claps and cheers for him to fully grasp that his name was called first
Looking around with a snort and a smile Eli couldn't stop smiling as everyone cheered for him. high fiving Miguel, Sam and Robby before quickly kissing Tory Eli got on the stage being the first in line
"Congratulations" Barnes actually smiled surprisingly everyone especially Johnny and Daniel
Nodding his head too filled with emotions and joy Eli bowed before taking his number 1 spot
"Tory" Barnes said next continuing the claps and cheers as Tory too smiled brightly getting pats on her back and chants
Taking the stage Barnes smiled at Tory as well patting her back and saying "Good Job" before Tory stood next to Eli leaving them to smile at one another
"Miguel"
Everyone knew it was coming but it still felt great to hear his name as he took the stage smiling at Eli and Tory
Clapping their hands happy for their friends Demetri and Devon simply glanced at one another wondering who between them would be called hell if they would be called at all….
"Ok obviously they would be the first three called up….their the champs" Bert said to Nate leaving him to nod his head in agreement
"Robby"
Immediately growing his own smile, Robby let go of Sam's hand soaking in her bright encouraging smile as he took the stage knowing he'd wait for her
But it still didn't stop Daniel and Johnny from clapping their hands glad to see one of their kids making the cut
"Sam"
And he knew he didn't have to wait long as Sam joined them on the stage officially making the first 5 picks completed
Obviously to no one's surprise
But it was great reassurance to Johnny and Daniel that Robby and Sam made Barne's rader
And with the top 5 picks and obvious choices out the way it left everyone looking around in question on who would follow the quote on quote "Big Ones" for the final test
It was almost anticipation and nerve racking that anyone could be picked now that the obvious choices were out the way and it was shown on everyone's face
Even Daniel and Johnny didn't know who would be chosen making it all the more questions
Looking at the grouped up students Barnes held his stone serious face looking at everyone ready to make his choices
"Muscles" Barnes said making everyone confused as they looked around in confusion
There definitely wasn't a muscles in the dojo out of all the nicknames given here but when Barnes pointed at Mitch it made it all the more clear
It shocked the hell out of Mitch though, only pointing at himself
"Me ?"
"Yeah, you come up here"
Mitch's face had immediately lit up as everyone started clapping again
"I have a new nickname ? I HAVE A NEW NICKNAME !" Mitch said making Bert and Chris chuckle as Mitch practically ran through all the students trying to get up on the stage to join the others
"Hey guys" Mitch smiled to Robby and Sam who just forced a smile
"I have a new nickname if you haven't heard names Muscles"
"Kenny" Barnes said making Kenny drop his shoulders and smile along with Robby happy to see Kenny was chosen for the final test
"Hey don't worry man, your next" Kenny reassured Anthony making him chuckle as he watched Kenny take the stage
"Kenny" Barnes said stopping him from going to his spot
"Good Job, No one ever catches the Chicken" he said making Kenny form a proud smile as he looked at Robby who simply smiled back
"Chris," Barnes said, making Chris smile and clap his hands with an "Aw Yeah !" as he didn't hesitate to jump atop the stage
"Bert" Immediately following after Chris Bert hopped the stage as well making Devon and Demetri groan while they still clapped
Clapping his hands as well Daniel was proud of everyone getting upon the stage, But he knew he was hoping one more prayer of his could be heard

Immediately growing a smile Daniel clapped his hands hard as could out doing the Student's applause as Anthony couldn't believe it himself
Robby and Sam didn't hesitate to clap as well as Anthony walked up standing right below them and Immediately he received hug from Both Robby and Sam making him chuckle
Demetri and Devon were only getting more nervous as they expected their names to be called by now even more so it only took one more person to determine if they were out the race for good
And all though Demetri was a man of science and not much of dumb luck. He'd be lying right now if he said he wasn't praying a silent prayer
"Demetri" Barnes said making Demetri Immediately slump his shoulders as his heart fell to his ass
"Oh thanks god" Demetri gasped leaving Eli, Miguel, Robby, Sam and Tory to clap their hands as finally he joined them on the stage
Daniel was also proud of Demetri for making the cut but it didn't stop him from seeing the look on Johnny's face. The same look he had for Anthony Johnny had for Devon
Finding herself alone Devon couldn't stop sweating and shaking knowing it would all line up to this determining if she would be the final one or not
"And for the final pick let's see…."
Looking at his notebook Barnes squinted his eyes soon sighing
"Oh yeah, Devon" Barnes said making Devon sigh practically falling to the floor in relief as she Immediately ran to the stage before Barnes could make up his mind
Taking her final spot next to Demetri the two had only looked at each other in nothing but determination as they both knew they were better than this being bottom feed to last and second to last, especially after they've grown so much
"Congratulations top 12, meet me back here tomorrow for the final test, Where half of you will be eliminated and we will officially have our top 6. As to the rest of you, you're out. Better luck next time"
The realisation and words stung. Shown on everyone's faces But it was the truth. And it was something they had to live with…..even if they didn't like it
"You two" Barnes said looking at Eli and Tory
"Fierce. Keep it up. I expect more surprises from you tomorrow" he told them making Eli and Tory smile as they looked at one another before nodding their heads to Barnes with a box
Seeing the conversation Devon and Demetri shook their heads with a scoff completely unbelievable to them both
Walking to the stage as the 12 selected started to make their leave. Daniel approached Anthony, Sam and Robby. Couldn't be more proud that all three of them made the cut
"Look at you ! ALL OF YOU !" Daniel said making them smile and chuckle as Sam was currently hugging Robby
Placing his hands on Anthony's arms Daniel shook him with eager
"Hard work paying off, I couldn't be more proud !" Daniel said making Anthony chuckle as he nodded his head moving some of his hair out his face
"Yeah…yeah, It's honestly thanks to Sam and Robby" Anthony admitted making the couple chuckle
"They've been beyond amazing Karate Tutors. Hell I wouldn't even know how to throw a punch if it wasn't for them….but let's be real no way I pass the final test. I'm not top 6 material I'd rather have Kenny or Demetri take my spot"
"Hey" Robby said getting Anthony's attention
"Don't count yourself out, You've put in the work and made it to the top 12 you deserve a shot at the roster as much as anyone" Robby said making Anthony grin
"Thanks Robby"
"He's right" Daniel agreed
"I won the All Valley with less ok the underdog, Always has a shot" Daniel said patting Anthony on his shoulder before walking away

Receiving pats on the back and words of encouragement from Robby and Sam Anthony had sucked in his breath and smiled with new found confidence

With her hands on her hips Devon paced back and forth as her nerves were getting the best of her. The action had been noticed by Johnny leaving him to suddenly approach her heavy breathing form
"Lee, you kicked ass out there. Got you a spot for the final test. Why do you look so pissed ?"
Immediately Devon scoffed
"You know, I was third for the Endurance Challenge. I out lasted everyone. But of course like always I came second to the defensive Power Couple. And then I showed I was able to take on multiple enemies by myself. But who does Sensei Substitute congratulate ? Kenny for catching a Chicken" Devon said voicing her anger making Johnny sigh but Devon wasn't close to being done with her rant
"And then he can't make it any more obvious that He's playing favorites with the offensive Power Couple with Hawk and Tory. "Being Fierce. Come on !" I thought you said he was supposed to be Unbiased Sensei ?"
"He put you through to the final test didn't he ?"
"Yeah but Between the Power Couples and Super Miguel I don't have much breathing room now do I ?" Devon groaned making Johnny lick his lips in thought as he looked back to see Miguel, Sam, Tory, Eli and Robby smiling and high fiving each other showing just how confident they were
"It's already bad enough I have Demetri to worry about for the last spot but Kenny isn't making it any easier, and Mr LaRusso's pet project with Anthony is only making it more clear that there's not enough spotlight for all of us…..and I can't earn my spot if the judge doesn't see me…..I feel like I'm gonna disappoint you"
"Hey, Listen" Johnny said getting Devon's eyes
"You're not gonna disappoint me. Don't worry, you're totally getting in alright ? just trust your training, focus on yourself. And Kick ass like you always do. Barnes will see the badass you really are ok ?"
Forcing a smile Devon nodded her head before walking away leaving Johnny to sigh as he truly felt for the girl

"Hey Hey Hey ! What did I say !" Eli eagerly smiled making Miguel, Sam, Robby and Tory smile along with him as they were all more than pumped
"Those 5 spots are ours for the taking and after tomorrow it's gonna be official !"
With a chuckle Miguel nodded his head in agreement
"Man ! one more test and then we're all going to Barcelona !"
Sam had only sighed at Miguel's statement while Robby hugged her tighter from behind
"God I can't wait ! Barcelona's so exotic ! and Big ! and-"
"Romantic" she and Robby said at the same time before chuckling making Miguel, Tory and Eli smirk
"Yeah something tells my there's gonna be a lot more done in Barcelona than fighting" Eli smirked making Robby and Sam roll their eyes
"Oh there's gonna be fighting all right" Tory said with a snort as she looked Sam and Robby up and down
"Just not the kind that involves clothes…."
Tory's comment only make Miguel and Eli laugh while Sam and Robby couldn't hide their faces of embarrassment
"Oh my god" an extremely feminine voice said getting the 5 of their attention as they turned their heads to see the surprise of a lifetime
Pulling her nose with a stank face Yasmine looked like she was on another planet
"Not only do you guys absolutely stink, but dear god what are you wearing ?" she questioned making them all look down at their plain White Gi's
"Our Gi's ?..." Tory responded and Yasmine almost fainted noticing everyone was wearing the same ones
"Oh ! Moon, catch me I might actually die…." Yasmine gasped making Moon roll her eyes and laugh
"Babe….hey what are you doing here ?" Miguel asked suddenly approaching her grin as she took his hands
"Well I honestly was missing you, wanted to see how you were doing with the whole 6 picks thing but with what I can tell it's going pretty well" Moon said making Miguel smile
"Yeah, top 5 is pretty much locked in one final test determines it all"
"Aww Honey ! That's great !. I'm so proud of you"
"God Moon stop being adorable and just show him. I don't know what's gonna kill me first, the smell of sweat or the hideous Designs of these pajamas…."
Raising his eyebrow in confusion Miguel only looked at Moon's face for answers but he had Immediately seen her bitten lip expression and eager face that was practically spilling her secrets for her
"Ok ok ok fine" she caved reaching in her bag to reveal her notebook to Miguel
"I was thinking about what you said earlier. About a way we could spend more time together, And then It got me thinking about my portfolio and…well…..I loved your Idea about the custom Gi's and….just take a look" Moon said handing Miguel her notebook
Tory, Robby, Sam and Eli had quickly crowded over Miguel looking down at the notebook as well and Immediately their eyes went wide once they saw what Moon had drawn
"Moon these are…." Sam began completely baffled at what she was seeing as Miguel continued to flip the pages
With a smile on her face Moon couldn't contain her excitement as the pages only got better and better
"These are good….like really really good" Robby chuckle
"Way better than anything we've seen before" Eli said
"When did you make these ?" Tory asked leaving Moon to blush in a bit of shiness

"Well your random idea might've been a gold mine" Miguel admitted as he couldn't stop looking at her designs
"I figured since you said only 6 people would be chosen…and the 5 of you are probably gonna be picked, we could make yours….." Moon began as Yasmine came in to give final direct
"Speaking of which, where's my hubby ? I wanna get started on his as well" Yasmine said but the group had simply looked at one another and cringed before looking at Yasmine who grew a confused look

But it didn't stop him from looking at her as well with a smirk before he went back to jabbing the air leaving Deon to pounce around ready to go back to striking

Devon continued to punch the bag harder and harder as her rage and passion in needing to prove herself continued

Feeling his stomach rumble, Mitch only grew an uncomfortable feeling. One he knew how to handle as he went over to his backpack to pick up his water bottle and take something out as well
Opening the cap, Anthony had soon walked by noticing Mitch pouring some white powder in his water making Anthony raise an eyebrow
"What's that protein powder ?" Anthony asked making Mitch jump
"WHA !...ah….no-no nah it's uhh….laxatives…" Mitch said beginning to shake the bottle
Raising an eyebrow in confusion Anthony was more confused than before he came
"Been a little stressed out with the picks, so I wasn't able to poop for the last few days….want some ?"
Anthony just shook his head and cringed while Mitch took a sip

"HEY !" a voice said making everyone halt as they saw Yasmine standing in the middle of the dojo
Immediately all the boys became tense but Devon just rolled her eyes going back to punching the bag

With a nervous chuckle Bert simply pointed to the inside of the dojo making Yasmine smile
"Thank you" she said before walking inside to Immediately find Demetri shadow boxing catching her all sorts of surprised
Seeing the sweat fall off of Demetri for the first time ever had Yasmine pretty hot and bothered as she couldn't help herself as she bit her lip while continuing to watch him train
She honestly didn't even get his attention. It wasn't until Demetri threw a kick that he noticed her surprising him

Letting out a heavy breathe sigh Demetri ran his hand through his sweaty hair before shaking his head
"I'm sorry my Golden Goddess…I….I've just not been feeling like myself lately" Demetri admitted making Yasmine tilt her head a little
"yeah….I might know why" Yasmine said slowly approaching him as she gained his eyes
"Miguel told me you didn't really showcase yourself the way you wanted to today ?" Yasmine said and it only sounded worse coming from someone else out loud then what he thought in his head

Letting out a deeper sigh Demetri took a seat at the nearby bench within the Dojo
"Miguel started this, the whole Karate thing, after he kicked Kyler's ass in front of the whole school everyone wanted to do Karate….and then they did. He proved that people like us….could stand up to our bullies. So People joined Cobra Kai, Eli joined Cobra Kai. Became Hawk. Became…..someone I didn't even recognize anymore. Someone we fought our whole lives….his own bully"
Seeing how emotional Demetri was getting Yasmine only puckered her lips before sitting right next to him
"The only reason I had to learn Karate was because I was scared that my best friend was gonna kill me. I tried Cobra Kai but that was a mistake…and I thought I'd just have to live the rest of my life in fear. But then I found Miyagi-Do ! I found Sam and Robby, Mr LaRusso. And at first I hated it. Thought It was a waste of time, that I'd never be good….But Sam and Robby showed me that I was good at Karate and Hell I started to like it ! and then the school fight happened. Robby got sent to Juvie and we were more dysfunctional than ever. Right when we were starting to become something" Demetri sighed
"Lines were drawn, sides were chosen and with Robby gone. Everyone knew they had to step up. He wasn't here to protect us anymore…..Sam did, she tried to protect all of us, tried to train and prepare us…but instead she was crushed by the weight of everything and you know what I did ?..."
Demetri shook his head in shame
"I let her be crushed….." Demetri admitted making Yasmine's face drop
"Demetri…..your arm got broken, that's not your fault" Yasmine tried but Demetri Immediately groaned getting up from the bench
"YES IT IS !" Demetri yelled
"It is my fault ! because instead of being there for her I continued to be afraid ! ok I was scared ! Robby and Sam were alway there for me when I needed them ! they protected me at the Mall, They had my back when Chris, Nate and all the others joined. Hell they taught me how to fight to begin with ! and when Robby left he needed me to step up and watch over the Dojo. Watch over Sam, I….I let him down…I let Sam down…..and because of it Eli broke my arm"
Yasmine saw how emotional Demetri was getting, seeing how much of this anger and pain he had bottled within him
"Demetri how long have you been holding this in ?" Yasmine asked and Demetri simply shook his head as he tried to fight his tears
"...I've gotten better…..Ok I've…..I've gotten better, I'm good enough I know I am…..I'm…..god Yasmine I'm tired of being scared all the time" Demetri cringly admitted as he fell into Yasmine's arms letting her hold him tight
"I just wanna be one of them….." Demetri said
"I….I wanna be strong like them…..I wanna prove that I'm just like them, that I don't need to be protected anymore"
Brining Demetri's face in her hands Yasmine made him look at her as she just wiped his tears and smiled
"Than prove it" Yasmine said
"Prove to everyone tomorrow that You are one of them, that you are good enough to be with them. That you don't need to be protected anymore and that you can be the one protecting others….I believe in you and now I just need you to believe in yourself"
Slowly nodding his head Yasmine wiped the last of Demetri's tears away as Demetri had gradually grown a smile
"I believe"

Immediately pulling Demetri in to a soaring heated kiss full of passion, lust and love Demetri's heart pumped ready to make his mark tomorrow and proved he belonged

"Yep, I'm ready to get that last spot and join you guys in Barcelona just like how you're not going to MIT without me"
Eli had only nodded his head once Demetri mentioned MIT but that didn't stop him from patting Eli on his shoulder before walking away making him sigh much to Miguel's noticed
"What bro !" Miguel said with a chuckle as she playfully shoved Eli
"Everytime he mentions MIT you go gray ?"
Licking his lips Eli tilted his head
"I didn't apply….." Eli admitted making Miguel's eyes go wide
"What ?...why ?"
Eli ran a hand through his straight black and blue hair before sighing
"Our college visit made me realize that MIT isn't what I wanted…..If I go to MIT I leave Tory, Her Mom, Her Brother. I found purpose in helping Tory continue her life, helping Brandon with school, helping her Mom get better. Hell I'm "this" close to convincing Tory in going to Community College"
Miguel just dropped his head as Eli continued
"We picked MIT way before this Karate stuff, Before I met you guys…..before I met Tory. I can't throw all that away…Miguel I can't leave her again, Not again"
Nodding his head Miguel understood where Eli was coming from
"I…I hear you man, All though MIT is great…Your speaking from your heart and that's what really matters, and there's a ton of great schools here that lets you stay near Tory as well"

"Just know…..You're gonna have to make a choice, and you're gonna have to tell Demetri"
"I know….I know, It's been Killing me. I don't know how to break it down to him without making it seem like I'm choosing Tory over him"
"Well….aren't you ?" Miguel said before walking away leaving Eli to just sigh as he thought about what to do
"Top 12 get ready !" Barnes said as everyone stood tall on the stage
With serious glares and confident expressions. Barnes, Daniel and Johnny looked at the top 12 students within the dojo as soon enough 6 of them will be their Sekai Taikai team
"Today's challenge, is a battle Royale" Barnes confirmed
"The Rules are simple, PROTECT YOUR FLAGS ! Steal the others. Lose your flags and you're out ! The ones with the most flags at the end go to Barcelona. The rest of you will be judged on your performance you have 2 minutes"
Pressing the stopwatch on his clock Johnny had leaned to Barnes as everyone watched the games soon start
"Little tip. Keep an eye on Devon today. She might surprise you"
"Yeah. I'll be watching everyone" Barnes said before picking up the stopwatch
"Ready ?"
Th bowed to one another before getting into their fighting positions
And with that Barnes started the stopwatch
"AND FIGHT !"
Immediately all hell broke loose
Some people had their direct targets while others Immediately ran off the stage trying to protect their flags
Mitch was one of those people who tried to run but Anthony was quick to chase him jumping off the stage so that he could quickly sweep his leg making Mitch fall to the grass ground where he Immediately took one of his flags
Anthony tried to grab another but Mitch quickly rolled away before shoving Anthony leaving him to quickly block both hands to create space between them
Jumping down off the stage Devon missed her kick on him but she Immediately recovered with an attempted grab on one of Sam's arm flags that missed
Quickly kicking Devon to one knee Sam vaulted over Devon grabbing her arm and looping her own around Devon's neck before she grabbed two of Devon's flags before kicking her to the ground and running away making Devon groan as she banged the grass ground
Turing bac to face Johnny Barnes just shook his head while Johnny sighed letting the Battle Royale commence
Seeing Anthony booking it across the Dojo Kenny had Immediately smiled as he chased him hopping on the Koi pond platform before jumping off
"I'm coming for you LaRusso !"
Keeping his hands up protectively Robby quickly dodged Chris's attempted grabs, pulling Chris close so that he could grab both the flags on Chris's arms before shoving him away pulling his flags along with shocking Chris while Robby only raised the flags with a smirk
"Sorry Chris, you snooze you loose" Robby laughed
Bumping his back with someone Robby Immediately turned around to find Miguel who he bumped backs with. A wide grin shown upon Miguel's face as he Immediately tried to grab at the flags within Robby's hand before Robby Quickly pulled away and blocked
Raising his leg up to dodge Miguel's grab, Miguel had kicked away Robby's hand but Immediately Robby grabbed at his leg ready to pull one of his sets of leg flag's
"Hey Boys" Eli said jumped in and grabbing a flag from them both on their leg for himself
Quickly dodging Robby's arm and grabbing it, Eli dodged Miguel's attempted grab of his back arm flag only maneuvering behind Robby to grab one of his back arm flag's before kicking him to Miguel where he soon counted the three flags in his hand satisfying him
"Love to stay and play but I gotta run !" Eli joked before running off leaving Miguel and Robby to groan as they ran off as well
Seeing the sight unfold Barnes couldn't help himself from laughing seeing the play Eli made
Twirling out of the way from Mitch's grab Devon snatched another Flag off of him before ducking under his attempted grab snatching another flag from his leg as she raised it high with a smile looking at Barnes
"Hey, you see that ? Badass, right ?" Johnny said tapping Barnes on the shoulder but it did nothing but annoy the man
"How many times am I gonna have to tell you ? back off" Barnes growled as he turned to look at completely Johnny missing the fight Devon was having with Chris
"What's with the attitude man ?" Johnny asked as Devon struck a high kick that Chris blocked before Devon ducked under his grab so that she could grab his leg maneuvering on the ground making him trip
"You're talking to a champion. I know what I'm doing" Barnes stated as Devon ripped off Chris's flag with a smile only to find Johnny and Barnes arguing
"Well I'm a champion too"
"Of the Valley ? yeah that's cute I was national"
"Don't diss the Valley man" Johnny growled getting up close to Barnes making Devon groan and flop her hands
And the distraction had only left her unguarded as Tory snuck behind her taking the flag's from her hand before grabbing the one on her hip ending with a sweep that made Devon fall to the ground with thud as she looked up at Tory's smirk
"Thanks Lee !" Tory quickly said before running off making Devon bang the ground in anger
Seeing Tory completely humiliate Devon, Barnes had quickly take note writing it down in his notebook with a "huh" only pissing Devon off more
"DAMN IT !"
Blocking all of Kenny's jabs, Demetri blocked his high Kick before grabbing the flag upon his leg making Kenny's eyes go wide
Grabbing Mitch's Kick Eli had taken off his flag with a laugh making Mitch Immediately reel his leg back with haste before throwing a punch that Eli blocked making Mitch spin
Turing his body Eli had quickly caught Mitch's other punch before filing him to the ground where he took the last of his flags making Mitch groan
"SHIT !" Mitch said looking up at Eli who held his flags with a smirk
"Sorry Muscles" Eli joked before turning around to find Tory who was just waiting from him with a smirk
"There she is" Eli smirked making Tory roll her eyes even thought she couldn't fight her blush
Getting into their fighting positions they both knew what they wanted and how they were gonna get it
Immediately throwing a Kick that Eli blocked, Tory noticed how defensive Eli was, dodging and ducking all of her strikes with a smirk

Grabbing her arm Eli had Immediately pulled Tory close, wrapping his arm around her neck holding her close as she only got a closer look at his scoff making her snort with a open mouth not knowing if she should laugh or groan
"This feels familiar" Eli whispered into her ear before Tory brought her foot up kicking him square in the chest making him back up
Getting the space she needed Tory Immediately jumped up wrapping her legs around Eli's neck before placing her hands on the ground so that she could fling him to the ground
Following up with a flip Tory landed directly on top of Eli with her hands on his chest while his hands were on his waist and still that damn smirk was plastered on his face
"Well this is definitely familiar" Eli said making Tory roll her eyes with a small laugh before she grabbed two of the three flags he gained from Mitch and rolled off
Grabbing Bert's arm Demetri had quickly maneuvered his arm up and grabbed two of his flags before kicking him away continuing his total with a groan
It was good, but not enough
Not even close as he turned to see Miguel slide under Devon's leg grabbing her flag adding to his already vast total
Sliding under Chris's legs Sam had grabbed his last flag on his hip and Chris Immediately groaned knowing it was his last
"Aw man ! Come on Sam !"
"Sorry Chris" Sam apologized before Immediately Robby came in grabbing the flag from her making Sam gasp
"Robby Keene !" Sam playfully gasped making him chuckle
"Quite the collection you got there Samantha" Robby said looking at her pretty pile she had among her body
"Not so bad yourself" Sam shot back seeing the handful Robby had under his belt
"But you happen to have one that's mine"
Looking at the flag on his hand Robby smirked
"Oh this one ?" Robby said holding the flag out for her to grab
Rolling her eyes Sam tried to grab it but Robby had Immediately snatched it away
"Oh so it's gonna be like that huh ?" Sam said with a smile as she got into her fighting position and Robby could only smile as well as he got into his own
Finding himself in another fight for his flags Bert tried to grab Anthony's but Anthony had quickly spun out the way before ripping a flag from his back, putting it in his Gi
"Ok man, Two to Two" Bert said
Anthony shot a kick that Bert grabbed
"Gotcha ! now it's two to on-"
Immediately giving Bert a knee to the chest Anthony knocked him to the ground where he jumped down grabbing a flag from his leg
"Shit !"
"Yoink !"
"2 to 1" Anthony said and when Nate tried to grab at Anthony's flag Anthony grabbed his arm and grabbed his last flag
"Shit !"
"2 to 0 thanks for playing" Anthony smiled placing the flags within his Gi before turning around to find Kenny right there waiting for him with a smirk
"Hey LaRusso"
Taking a deep breathe Anthony had just gotten into his fighting position

Immediately ducking down for a sweep Anthony raised his leg dodging Kenny's low kick
Blocking Kenny's attempted grabs at his leg flags the two transitioned upwards as Anthony stayed on the defensive using wax on wax off to block Kenny's jabs until they switched when Anthony threw a swing that Kenny ducked so that he could grab Anthony's flag making him fall
"You thought you had a shot" Kenny said as Anthony had Immediately grabbed both of Kenny's leg flags
"Shit !"
Trying to grab the flag back Anthony was to fast swiping it away before placing it in his Gi keeping it even
"All right, good move, but that was lucky, let's see what your really made of" Kenny challenged and Immediately Anthony tried to grab at Kenny's flag leaving him to block his arm
Trying to grab again Kenny blocked, but Anthony kicked his lower leg and swiped his hand leaving Kenny to duck grabbing Anthony's last flag before striking a fast and hard uppercut
"TIME ! THAT'S IT !" Barnes reported
"YES !" Kenny smiled holding up his flags
"Anthony !" Daniel yelled noticing his son squirming on the ground
Turing back to see Anthony Kenny's eyes went wide once he noticed the damage
"Oh shit ! LaRusso, Man I'm sorry"
Running over to the scene Daniel had immediately bended down to help Anthony up
"Are you ok ?" he asked inspecting his bleeding nose
"If it isn't obvious, LaRusso, you're out. Nice hit, Kenny" Barnes said as he approached them

Helping Anthony up Daniel had just stared daggers at Barnes

With Daniel and Anthony going inside Barnes had turned back to see everyone grouped up

Hurrying up in order from greatest to least Miguel was first having so many flags in his hand he didn't even know it was possible,
then it was Eli holding two sets in his hand and the rest on his waist the ones he stole from others
Sam was next having a nice pile in her hands while Robby was right next to her, a whole set of flags within his grasp
And the last one in the many flags club was Tory holding two piles in her hands
The remaining competitors that were alive in the challenge consisted of Demetri, Devon and Kenny but their total was so small compared to the other 5 that it was too close of a race to have a clear cut 6th spot winner
And Barnes knew it
Looking at Miguel, Eli, Sam, Robby and Tory's total Barnes closed his book
"All right, we've clearly got our top five" he stated making Demetri, Devon and Kenny groan
"Eli, Tory, Miguel, Robby, Sam. You five are going to Barcelona" Barnes confirmed making them smile as they clapped their hands in eager with small cheers
Looking back at Demetri, Devon and Kenny, Barnes spoke
"You bottom three are tied, I'll go back tonight and review my notes. Re-tally the scores. I'll announce who got the final roster spot in the morning" Barnes confirmed and Immediately the top five laughed slumping their shoulders knowing they were the ones going to Barcelona
With High Fives, Dabs and smiles Devon sighed seeing them celebrate before she started Ripping off the last of her Flags
"Hey ? What's wrong ? Barnes was watching you this whole time ?" Johnny said
"Yeah, but he missed all of my good moments…Look I don't know what you two were arguing about…..But I'd be shocked if he chooses me after that shit show today…."
With a defeated sigh Devon simply walked away making Johnny lick his lips with his own sigh
Within the Inside Dojo Daniel continued to press a towel to Anthony's nose making him groan as Daniel had soon pulled back inspecting the damage
"Looks like the bleeding stopped, You're gonna live" Daniel reassured making Anthony chuckle
"Thanks Dad….."
Noticing the hesitant and quiet tone in Anthony's voice Daniel raised a brow
"You ok ?"
"Yeah…yeah…" Anthony nodded before sighing
"It's just…..I…..I was so close….you know ?...I was right there, had I lasted longer I could've qualified and it…it just hurts…..I feel like I let you down"
Giving Anthony a chuckle and a small smile Daniel simply put a hand on his Son's shoulder
"Anthony, I couldn't be more proud of you, win lose draw. I don't care. I'll always be proud of you" Daniel admitted making Anthony smile as he wiped his nose

Looking around at the bar they sat in Johnny took his sip before nodding his head

Johnny and Daniel simply looked at each other both having obvious picks on who the final spot should go to as Johnny wanted Devon while Daniel wanted Demetri, and as Barnes opened his mouth the two adults stood tall and heavy in nothing but anticipation in what they were gonna hear
"The final spot goes to Payne" Barnes confirmed making Johnny and Daniel's eyes go wide while Barnes took a sip of his beer
"WHAT !" Johnny yelled
"Yeah I'm with Johnny ? Barnes what made Kenny qualified for the final spot, I mean don't get me wrong Kenny's an amazing student but…."

"Hey you two came to me so that I could make the Roster and that's what I've done. So now it's time for you two to shut up and accept my roster" Barnes said making the two Sensei's quietly sigh knowing everything he said was true

With a smile Daniel put a hand out stopping Barnes from speaking

"Oh ? really ?" Barnes asked leaving Johnny and Daniel to nod their heads with smirks
"Mhm, obviously Sam's gonna be our girl Captain but the real race is between Robby and Miguel" Johnny said making Barnes's eyes go wide in surprise while Daniel picked up where Johnny left off
"We're gonna have Robby and Miguel have a three point match for Captain so that's a done deal"
Listening to Johnny and Daniel's plan Barnes simply scratched his chin before chuckling taking Johnny and Daniel back
"Hey, what's so funny big guy ?" Johnny asked only making Barnes chuckle again
"Oh nothing it's just…..You guys are idiots" Barnes stated shocking Johnny and Daniel

"Obviously you two were gonna pick your kids for Captain"

And sure enough Hawk and Tory had more check marks in all categories than any students in the dojo

"Ok this is Bullshit !" Johnny yelled leaving Barnes to fold his arms at them
"Stats never lie Lawrence. Hawk and Tory are better than your kids"
"Well look who's being biased now" Daniel said sliding Barnes notebook back to him
"Call it what you will, I see it as the truth" Barnes stated standing up out of his chair figuring he had enough of this conversation
"Hawk and Tory are ready for the next step. They have what it takes to lead this team to victory in the Sekai Taikai. And just because your kids are dating and you two are co-dading the Dojo doesn't mean. Robby and Sam get a free pass on everything"
"Robby and Sam are more qualified to be Captains than anyone !" Daniel yelled surprisingly shocking Johnny himself

Continuing to shape out the legs on his furniture Barnes hadn't heard the sound of his shop door opening and closing not noticing Johnny coming in as the sound of wood cutting blocked his ears
It wasn't until Johnny spoke did he get Barnes's attention

"And as badass as they are, there was no reason to disrespect our Kids. Sam and Robby are two of the best fighters this Valley's ever seen"
"Look" Barnes laughed

Getting up to his feet Barnes knocked the dust off his shoulders watching as Johnny had gotten into his fighting position
Throwing a low kick followed into a high kick, Barnes performed a spinning back kick knocking Johnny into a nearby shelf

Feeling Barnes's hands grab him Johnny Immediately kicked his knee making him drop to one leg with a groan before kneeing him in the face as he pushed him to the table making Barnes grow the shocked expression as he saw the powersaw inches away from his face
With an angered yell Barnes picked up Johnny's hand off his head before slamming the back of his head to Johnny's face following up with a high kick that made Johnny drop to the ground with a groan as he saw Barnes stand over him
"Like I said, Cream Puff. Just like your kids !"
Letting out a yell Johnny had Immediately recovered off the ground with a kick to the face as he got up
Immediately blocking Barnes's strikes, Johnny started using Miyagi-Do to block each and every one of Barnes's punches and attempted strikes. Before punching him in the chest and ending with a spin kick to the face making Barnes spin and crash into his table
Not having enough Johnny brought his fist up ready to fight some more but Barnes had hastily shot a hand out as he gasped for his breath
"enough…..Enough. All Right, You win….You win…." Barnes admitted making Johnny drop his fist as he too was genuinely happy Barnes caved
"I'm sorry" Johnny tiredly huffed while Barnes let out a series of painful groans while he tried to get up
"Sorry about all this man-"
"No not…it's my fault" Barnes said huffing his breath
"You know ever since you guys brought Karate back into my life I've been…Itching for a fight….I guess I thought it would help me…..recapture some sense of power or something"
Licking his lips as he looked down at Barnes Johnny nodded his head
"I know how you feel" Johnny stated as he offered his hand to Barnes
The man simply looked at Johnny in small awe before soon accepting his gesture letting Johnny help pull him up
"When I got into teaching all I know was what I taught, and quite frankly…..for a while I was doing good for myself" Johnny began making Barnes nod his head
"But it wasn't until something tragic happened that I learned we're better together than we are divided. And yes while Offense get's you so far in a fight…..Defense can help you finish it faster…..and quite frankly in less pain" Johnny joked making Barnes chuckle
Looking around at the damage they caused Barnes shook his head
"I'm also sorry about your kids man…..I have kids myself and I would kick the assholes ass who bad mouthed them as well. Especially if I had kids as badass as yours"
Nodding his head Johnny and Barnes had dabbed each other up coming to a mutual agreement
"From one bad boy to another Just do me one solid man" Johnny said making Barnes nod his head
"Take a double look at that notebook of yours, see if you gave EVERYONE a fair shot" Johnny said before walking away leaving Barnes to simply sigh and bite the inside of his mouth as he thought on his past actions and the words Johnny said

With the sun beaming bright The Miyagi-Fang tracked themselves through the forest grounds meeting up in one area that Johnny, Daniel and Barnes told them to go

"Last Night I reviewed me notes" Barnes said glancing over at Johnny with a smirk before looking back at the students
"And I noticed…..I didn't give everyone a fair shot" He admitted shocking the students
"I based you all on what you bring in your attributes and not what kind of student you are….and for that I apologize"
Raising their eyebrows in confusion everyone wondered what Barnes was getting at but when Johnny and Daniel had stepped up with their own grins some confusion started to get more clear
"So, I'm here to set the record straight. Make it a clean slate for everyone. With a new test you all ARE able to participate in. A final test to see who has what it takes to go to the Sekai Taikai" Barnes admitted making everyone's eyes go wide as Johnny and Daniel stepped in to explain
"This test is SIMPLE !" Johnny yelled as he held up a red headband
"We're gonna play a little game" Barnes smirked
"Eagle-Fang !" Johnny said
"Vs Miyagi-Do" Daniel said revealing a white headband
