5. Ep 5: Best of the Best

"Well this is nostalgic" Miguel smiled, wrapping the red headband around his head as he looked at Eli and Tory who continued to stretch

"The three of us, back on the same team again" Eli followed up looking between Migeul and Tory

"Not just us" Tory pointed out and the trio looked down at all the students wearing Red headbands

It wasn't just a coincidence that everyone chosen to wear a red headband and fight for Eagle-Fang happened to be the OG Cobra Kai's those who first decided to fight for Johnny under his Cobra Kai before the school fight

Those like Mitch, Bert, Big Red, Edwin and more were all chosen to wear the Red Head bands and represent Eagle-Fang. Even Devon and Kenny sported the red headband across their foreheads as Devon had originally been a Eagle-Fang as well while Kenny was always on the aggressive side

"Anyone getting a weird sense of Deja Vu" Demetri pointed out making Robby and Sam chuckle as the three of them wore the white headbands across their foreheads

"I don't know. Kinda nice to be on the same side again, reminds me of simpler times" Sam said nudging Demetri in the arm but he failed to share the same optimism

"Yeah, back when we all hated them, They hated us, and Miyagi-Do was just us three. Such great times" Demetri said making Sam roll her eyes with a smile

"Well I don't think you have to worry about that" Robby pointed out as the trio looked down at the row of White Headbands worn by everyone that were OG Miyagi-Do's. Those who joined under Daniel's recruitment or wanted to learn how to defend themselves against Cobra Kai. along with the newest students gained from Silver's Cobra Kai People like Chris, Nate, Little Red and more continued to stretch filling the line of white headbands before them along with their new Member in Anthony who even showed his own form of excitement at his second chance

"Alright everyone listen up !" Barnes said introducing himself with Daniel and Johnny getting everyone's attention

"This is it, Your Final chance to make something of yourselves" Barnes said

"For those who've been with me This should be Familiar !" Johnny said making the Eagle-Fang's smirk at one another

"And for those who aren't" Johnny said looking at the Miyagi-Do's

"Welcome to Coyote Creek"

An Eagle screamed at the perfect time and everyone just found it perfectly hilarious giving him more emphasis

"The rules are simple" Daniel said

"Those that are wearing Red headbands are representing Eagle-Fang, And those that are wearing White Headbands are representing Miyagi-Do"

"This will be a team based free for all until we are down to only 6 alive students. Those who are alive will be chosen for the Sekai Taikai" Johnny confirmed

"Your headbands are your lifelines, the opponent removes them you are out"

"This isn't going to be easy" Barnes stated

"You will be put through trials and tribulations you never thought you'd be tested" he said looking at everyone paying him nothing more but their full attention

"You are all forced to fight those you call your friends and allies. With nothing but the skills you've been taught, Because just like the Sekai Taikai. Out here it's kill, Or be killed"

"And that is why !" Johnny yelled

"We will not be out there to supervise" he stated, shocking everyone. Sam and Robby looked at Daniel shocked to see that he was actually on board with this plan

"You guys are on your own. No Holding Back ! give each other your all. Because winning is everything, plain and simple, and if you want a chance to fight in the Sekai Taikai. You need to prove YOU are worth it"

Looking at one another with concern each of the students simply nodded their heads

"So prepare yourselves, stretch, use the restroom, call your Mothers. Because no one can save you out here" Barnes said running a chill spine down everyone's body

"Everyone take five minutes to stretch, because after that. It's go time"

With all the students disbanded into their factions but not without one final gift from Daniel

"Also one final rule" Daniel said stopping everyone

"In simple Miyagi-Do Fashion we believe to never throw the first punch, and that martial arts is for defense. So Miyagi-Do's You aren't allowed to throw the first punch. You must let the Eagle-Fang's come to you" Daniel said making the Miyagi-Do's eyes go wide while the Eagle-Fang's cheered high fiving one another

Looking across from them seeing Hawk, Miguel and Tory joyed by the news Sam, Robby and Demetri had only groaned looking at one another with some form of concern on just how fair this would be

Standing by himself away from everyone Eli continued to warm himself up, continuing to shadow box as he got ready for the test

Continuing to jab at the air warming up his fist, Eli hadn't heard the sound of soft feet approaching behind him. Not noticing Tory was approaching him until he heard her voice

"So what are you thinking about this time ?" she Immediately asked making Eli smirk, soon bringing his fist down and and turning to face her

Eli had just glanced over to Demetri who was talking with Mitch and Chris and Tory Immediately understood what had his mind distracted

"You didn't tell him about MIT…..did you ?"

With his lips pursed Eli just looked back at Tory with a headshake

"I…..I don't know how to say it" Eli admitted

"He's gonna be pissed, Tory we've been planning this since we were kids and me telling him that I chose to stay here with you instead of going to MIT with him…It's gonna hurt him"

"I get that. And Babe as much as I love you for choosing to stay with me. Don't let what Demetri might say cloud your judgment" Tory warned getting his attention

"This is it, you don't pass this test you don't get to go to Barcelona, Don't let Demetri be the reason you lose focus out there and lose your spot"

"Tory's right" Barnes said making the two teens turn their heads to face him

"Sorry, for interrupting. I haven't had the chance to talk to you both one on one" Mike said in a form of offering, quite frankly it was weird to hear him speak when he's not yelling at them

"Again I apologize for the retake you both deserve to go to the Sekai Taikai, You both are some of the fiercest fighters I've ever came across"

"That's ok" Tory nodded

"We understand, just gives us more chances to prove ourselves" Tory stated making Barnes chuckle

"That aggression and hunger, I admire it, Truth be told out of everyone here. I like you two the most" Barnes said making Tory and Eli look at one another in some surprise

"You both have what it takes to win the Sekai Taikai, hell you both could be the Captains of the team if you ask me. But Hawk if you want to win you should listen to Tory. flush out all that emotion and fear you have and focus on your training. Because in the Sekai Taikai if you show any sense of uncertainty. You're Dead"

The emphasis of Barnes's words really hit Eli but the sound of Daniel and Johnny calling everyone in caught all three of their attention cluttering Eli's mind again

"You two should go join the others…and good luck" Barnes said making Tory and Eli nod their heads and bow before walking away feeling…..different about their substitute Sensei

Walking up to Devon, Johnny rubbed his hands together with a small sigh before speaking

"Hey you ready ?" Johnny asked her and Immediately she scoffed

"Am I ready ? What kind of question is that ? this time instead of finding out who's gonna be our last choice I have to go through some type of Battle Royale for it ?" Devon said making Johnny sigh and roll his eyes

"I mean even though Miguel, Hawk and Tory are on my team I still have to face Demetri, Sam, Robby ! the odds are literally against me !"

"Hey !" Johnny yelled grasping at her shoulders so that he could Immediately cut her off

"This odds have never been better" Johnny said confusing Devon

"This time you have an actual shot. One that can help you prove yourself. In more ways that the test before wouldn't"

"Yeah but Sen-"

"But Nothing Lee !" Johnny cut her off again

"You're a natural badass through and through. I knew it the day I saw you on that debate stage" Johnny said making Devon's face soften

"Do whatever you can with whatever you got understand me ? and even if you don't win today…It's not the end of the world. You still proved yourself ok ?"

Biting her lip at Johnny's message, Devon sighed before looking up at Johnny with a newfound demeanor and a ready'd expression

"Yes Sensei" she said before fist bumping Johnny and walking away leaving Johnny to watch her with his own small sigh

Joining the mixed color of headbands Eli didn't hesitate to approach Demetri, Mitch and Chris who held their own conversation Eli overheard

He knew Barnes and Tory were right. He couldn't be distracted, couldn't lose focus

Not now

And he knew Demetri had the right to know. He deserved to know the truth

"Hey Demetri" Eli sighed seeing Demetri laugh with Chris and Mitch before all three of them noticed Eli's presence

Chris and Mitch had simply walked away, heading to their respective teams while Demetri grew a grin seeing Eli who held a contempt face

"Hey Man ! look at us sworn enemies again" Demetri joked but Eli wasn't in the mood

"Demetri we gotta talk-"

"Hey, don't worry. I got this man" Demetri said confidently making Eli sigh

"Demetri-"

"I'm gonna stay alive, earn that 6th spot, go with you guys to Barcelona-"

"Demetri" Eli groaned again still not stopping him

"You know Yasmine told me about her and Moon's idea on the custom Gi's for us top 6" Demetri said with a nudge and a grin

"I Love ! the idea. Yeah Moon's art is great, we're gonna look awesome at the Sekai Taikai ! and do you know how good this is gonna look on our MIT Application ! they revamped their Robotics Program and everything !"

The sound of Demetri mentioning MIT only made Eli roll his eyes and groan one final time before yelling

"DEMETRI ! I'M NOT GOING TO MIT !"

The sound of Eli's voice being raised had made everyone around them pause and look at them, while Demetri himself was shocked

Not shocked wasn't the right word. He was Hurt

Looking around to see Daniel, Johnny, Miguel, Sam and Tory, Everyone's mixed reactions Eli simply licked his lips

"This….This isn't how I wanted you to find out-"

"OH YOU THINK !" Demetri yelled back as everyone started to crowd them

"Hey what's going on ?" Daniel asked but Johnny had simply stopped him letting the two handle their business like men

"ELI WE'VE WANTED MIT EVER SINCE WE WERE KIDS ! HELL BABIES ELI !"

"THINGS CHANGE DEMETRI !" Eli yelled back making Demetri scoff

"Look, Tory needs me. And I can really help her out if I stay here and go to school around here And I know it hurts but after our college visit and going to the frat party-"

"WOAH !" Demetri angrily yelled cutting Eli off after he heard his reasoning

"So the only reason you're throwing away our lifelong dream of going to MIT is because your choosing Tory ? over me" Demetri said making all the listening students gasp as suddenly eyes were on her making Tory purse her lips

"A girl who you met over a year ago ? and has broken your heart more times than I can count !" Demetri yelled making some of the students go "ooohhh" while Tory herself clenched her fist

Eli himself felt his own form of anger within him as he fought back against his anger and tried to remember Demetri was grieving about his decision

"Look I don't appreciate your condescension-"

"AND I DON'T APPRECIATE YOU TURNING INTO A MORON !" Demetri yelled making Eli angrily huff his breath

"You know what, AT LEAST I'M NOT AN OVERBEARING CONTROL FREAK ! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I WAS SCARED TO TELL YOU ABOUT THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE ! your obsession about MIT is so damn annoying" Eli said making Demetri scoff and nod his head

"Annoying. Ok I'm annoying, Yeah said the guy who broke my arm because he wanted to fit in with the cool kids" Demetri said making everyone go "ooooh" in response eve Johnny and Daniel made a reactive face at that being brought him

Thinking back on that moment Eli had only sighed while Demetri felt done with this conversation

"You….know what I promise not to annoy you anymore how about that" Demetri said patting him on his shoulder before walking away

"No, Demetri" Eli sighed but Tory had grabbed his arm stopping him

"Hey" she said getting his attention

"Let him process, stay focused remember" Tory reminded Eli making him sigh one final time before nodding his head as he still had to remember he had a test to pass

Lined up row by row to their two teams Daniel and Johnny stood between the two ready to release them, each Sensei holding up a red flag

"When these flags go down the test starts !" Johnny confirmed

Looking across from him Eli saw the glare Demetri was giving him, Only making Eli shake his head and focus up

"Remember Miyagi-Do's you can't throw the first punch, The fight doesn't start until one of the Eagle-Fang's attacks first"

Standing in a ready position Demetri had just glared at Eli and Tory as he cracked his fingers

"YOU GUYS READY !" Barnes shouted as everyone clenched their fist readying their feet

"GO !" Johnny yelled as he and Daniel swiped down their flags

Immediately Turing back most of the Miyagi-Do's started to run into the forest where they could escape the main numbers but some had gotten caught by the Eagle-Fangs as Edwin was one of them who caught a Miyagi-Do Immediately taking off his headband

Watching majority of the Miyagi-Do's escape all of the Eagle-Fang's headed into the forest ready to chase them showing the competition officially began

Continuing to run in the forest Sam, Robby, Demetri, Anthony and Chris had came to a stop to catch their breaths once they deemed themselves far enough

All the Miyagi-Do's had split and this happened to be the group that stayed together

"Ok why can they attack us and we can't attack them ?" Demetri gasped as heavy breaths is something they all shared at the moment

Sam and Robby didn't directly have an answer and it just added a list to the things that pissed Demetri off more today

"We should keep running" Anthony suggested but Robby shook his head

"No, it's an even playing field now, every matchups fair. We should turn back and start taking people out" Robby suggested much to Sam's agreement

"Agreed if their the ones looking for us we have the advantage and can attack them"

"I like your confidence Robby but I don't think reverse attacking the aggressive team is the smartest play, you don't fight fire with fire, everything just blows up !"

Seeing they've came to a stalemate Robby looked at their numbers

"Ok let's vote on it" Robby suggested

"Those who wanna go fight raise your hand"

Immediately Robby and Sam raised their hands

"Those who wanna hide raise your hand"

Immediately Anthony and Chris raised their hands

All eyes had soon gone to Demetri as it seemed like he was the deciding vote

Looking at the group Demetri simply bit his lip and weighed his options, Looking at Anthony and Chris who wanted to continue running before looking at Sam and Robby who held a determined face wanting to fight

Continuing to think on his options Demetri's face scrunched and he soon made his mind as he brought his hand up and spoke

"Let's kick their ass"

Standing at the entrance near the tables Daniel had approached Barnes with his hands in his pockets

"So I'm guessing this new final test was because of Johnny's visit ?" Daniel began making Barnes chuckle

"Yeah, I had my fair share of getting my ass kicked" Barnes admitted scratching his chin making Daniel laugh

"Yeah, Johnny has a weird way of bringing the best out of you" Daniel said as he looked at Johnny comforting all the Miyagi-Do students who were eliminated first no signs of any Eagle-Fangs

"I'm also sorry for what I said about Sam and Robby" Barnes apologized making Daniel nod his head

"It's just….This whole thing has really dredged up my Demons. And the Sekai Taikai is no joke. I just want the kids to be ready"

"Well we appreciate your hospitality Mike" Daniel smiled placing a hand on Barnes's shoulder leaving them both to smile

"In all honesty we couldn't have done this without you and we appreciate you for even doing this for us"

"Ah it was no big deal, in fact I owe you. Just one thing from an old friend to another" Mike said making Daniel nod his head

"Keep Hawk and Tory in consideration for Captain" Barnes pleaded

"They truly might surprise you"

Opening his mouth ready to get a response out Daniel was cut off when the sound of footsteps were heard making the three sensei's turn their heads to see Surprisingly one of the Eagle-Fang students holding their heads low

All Three Sensei's were honestly surprised to see an Eagle-Fang student taken out this early

"Robby and Sam got me" he said with a sigh

"I attacked thinking it was just one of them and the other came out of nowhere and took my headband

Hearing about what happened to the student Daniel had turned his head and smirked at Barnes glad to know that his belief in Robby and Sam was indeed true and alive

Blocking a jab from the Miyagi-Do he was in a fight with Hawk had quickly flipped him to the ground before snatching his headband off his head making the boy groan in defeated disappointment

Tory and Miguel had done the same to their opponents as with a kick to the lower leg added with a spinning sweep kick knocking his opponent to the ground Miguel took of their headband

Giving her opponent a knee to the gut Tory snatched the headband off the girl she was fighting and shoved her to the ground leaving all three Miyagi-Do students to lose adding to the total

Miguel had simply given the headband back to his opponent with a soft smile and a pat to his back as he walked away but Tory and Eli had different ways of celebrating their victory

Miguel watched as his two friends stuck the opposing teams headbands to their hips, it was meant to signify that each headband was a kill

And Miguel couldn't help but roll his eyes with a chuckle

They sure were something together

"Ok, is it me or are the Miyagi-Do's starting to fight back ?" Eli asked

Tory and Miguel nodded their heads thinking the same thing

"Sam and Robby must've come up with a plan, it's a big forest. They could've came up with something strategic"

"Of course they did" Eli snorted

"People are gonna start getting eliminated fast, we should split try and take out as many as we can we all know how competitive this thing can get" Tory suggested and both Eli and Miguel agreed with that plan

Splitting apart Eli and Tory went in one direction while Miguel went in another trying to find whoever they could

Dodging Big Red's Heavy swing Robby blocked his jab before raising his leg to dodge his low kick. Immediately turning his body so that he could kick him in the face

His kick was so strong that it flipped Big Red to the ground giving Robby the chance he needed to grab his headband

Blocking Edwin's kick, Demetri stayed on the defensive blocking all of Edwin's jabs and strike

Quickly grabbing his leg, Demetri had punched Edwin in the chest before flinging Edwin to the ground leaving Demetri to grab his headband

Blocking a series of strikes from her opponent Sam had caught the girls fist before Immediately reeling her head back to dodge her attempted grab

Kicking her back leg making the girl drop to one knee Sam kicked the girl in the face dropping her to the ground

Grabbing her headband Robby, Sam and Demetri grouped together looking at their total

"Ok Demetri how many Eagle-Fangs did we take out ?"

Watching the three students they just defeated walk away Demetri thought back on the previous fights they won before

"If we count beforehand I'd say about 6…maybe 7 ?"

"Ok, ok this is good were making progress" Sam nodded

With his hands on his hips Robby simply bit his lip in deep thought

"It's good but not good enough, we don't even know how many us are left"

"Ok that's fine you two stay together I'll go find out, have a little recon" Demetri said eager to dish out on his own but Robby and Sam were quick to show their concern

"Woah ! Demetri are you sure ? how about I go-" Robby said but Demetri Immediately shook his head shooting him down

"No guys It's fine, ok I got this" Demetri said in a pleading yet convincing tone

With a final glance to one another Sam and Robby looked at each other before sighing knowing they had to trust Demetri

He sure has grown

"Ok, but come back soon ok" Sam said and Demetri had flashed a small smile and nodded his head before running off leaving Sam and Robby to go down their own path as well

Walking among the forest Anthony couldn't stop whisking his head every which way

He was grateful for the second chance he was given to prove himself but being placed in a battle royale in the middle of a forest was not ideal at all

Every step he took he felt like he was walking into a trap and more so he felt like he didn't know what to do in a fighting situation if it ever occurred

Sure his Miyagi-Do's pretty good but truth be told he's never really been in a one on one fight before

A fight where there's no ref, no one watching just him and them

"Got you" a voice said making Anthony's eyes go wide as he turned around to find a Eagle-Fang approaching him

"Oh shit !" Anthony yelled as he started to run away

Running fast into the forest Anthony didn't have much of a shot as the Eagle-Fang had quickly caught up to him grabbing him by the arm

Immediately trying to grab at his headband Anthony instinctively blocked and struck him in the gut, the same way he did against Robby at their training

Looking down at his hands in shock Anthony yelped as he duck under his opponents swing before kicking his lower leg making the guy trip to one knee

Ending the fight with a swift kick to the chest Anthony had Immediately grabbed the guys headband before huffing his breathe absolutely shocked that he did that

"Holy !...Holy shit !" Anthony exclaimed looking at the headband in his hand

Too overjoyed and excited about his win Anthony forgot about the entire person he just beat in a fight

"Oh sorry about that man" Anthony said watching as the guy got up and waved his hand before limping away

After seeing that his opponent was fine, Anthony looked down at the red headband with a proud smile

One that soon went away once he heard the sound of footsteps approach him

"Good job LaRusso" a voice said making Anthony turn around to find Kenny standing there Immediately making Anthony's eyes go wide

"Shit…." he groaned

Seeing how huffed and ragged Kenny looked Anthony could tell he had his fair share of fights. And since he was standing here Anthony could only guess he won

Putting the red headband in his pocket Anthony had Immediately gotten into his fighting position making Kenny smirk

"Well I guess it's true, only one of us can go to Barcelona"

"Yeah" Anthony noted

"But you remember what Sensei said, Underdogs always have a shot"

Seeing the confidence the radiated from Anthony, seeing just how strong he stood in his fighting position Kenny nodded his head and smirked before he soon enough got into his

"Yeah, sure they do" Kenny said before charging to Anthony

Jumping up into a superman punch Anthony Immediately moved out the way before ducking under Kenny's spin kick

Immediately blocking a plethora of Kenny's strikes, Anthony grabbed Kenny's arm pulling it down before clocking him directly in the face getting his first real strike in

The punch physically made both Anthony and Kenny come to a full blown stop in shock as Kenny felt the blood leak from his nose while Anthony had a jaw dropped expression not knowing what to say

Kenny had just clenched his jaw and brought his fist up leaving Anthony to do the same

Dodging both of Kenny's heavy swings, Anthony didn't notice when Kenny ducked down grabbing Anthony by his waste so that he could swing and launch him to the ground

Rolling upon the ground Anthony quickly recovered by sweeping Kenny's leg bringing him to the ground alongside him

With both boys on the ground Anthony didn't hesitate to tackle Kenny leaving them to start rolling all over the ground as they wrestled one another

Surprised to both of them Anthony had won the fight as soon enough he got on top of Kenny trying to grab his headband but Kenny stopped the action by grabbing his arm

Brining Anthony close so that he could clash their heads in a headbutt Anthony pushed Kenny down on the ground again taking another attempt at trying to grab his headband

Letting out loose grunts and angered growls the two boys fought back against one another having very opposite goals in mind

And Kenny's eyes only went more wide as he saw Anthony's hand get closer and closer to his head

It wasn't until arms wrapped around Anthony, snatching his headband off that their fight came to a stop. And it official ended when someone kicked Anthony off Kenny

Rolling on the ground with a groan Kenny looked up in confusion to find Devon huffing her breathe as she held Anthony's white headband within her hands

"Hey you ok ?" Devon asked bringing a hand out to help Kenny

Still dazed and confused Kenny had accepted her gesture rising back to his feet as he nodded his head

"Ye-yeah…yeah I'm fine" he confirmed before looking at Anthony who groaned as he rose up to sit behind a tree

Looking at Kenny and Devon both the two looked down at Anthony's headband before tossing it to him and walking away leaving Anthony to just sigh, running his hands through his hair as he plopped his head behind the tree living with the fact that he was officially out

Searching the forest Demetri found that running into Miyagi-Do's or Eagle-Fang alike was getting pretty rare leaving him to believe that the numbers of people still in the competition were lower than he thought before

The sound of heavy footsteps made him turn around as Immediately Demetri jumped out the way of Mitch's charge making him hit a tree

Looks like he was wrong

Immediately turning back to face Demetri with a smirk Mitch shook his head and grinned

"Looks like it's a rematch" he smirked

"Oh yeah you gonna beat me this time" Demetri said making Mitch snort before Immediately charging at him

Dodging Mitch's first swing, Demetri blocked his second. Kicking Mitch's lower leg making him groan and drop to a knee

Hastily Mitch wrapped his arms around Demetri but Demetri was quick to Knee him in the gut before bringing him up to his feet so that he could back kick him into a tree

The attack was harsh and hurt, ending any type of retaliation as Demetri simply walked up and took his headband taking him out the competition

"Guess you lost" Demetri growled before walking away and Mitch had just looked at him in confusion wondering

What the hell is up with Demetri ?

Walking through the forest Chris honestly felt pretty good

Rubbing his hands in confidence he felt like he had a pretty good shot, he took out 2 different Eagle-Fangs and as long as he played smart he might be able to sneak into the top 6

But all his hopes and wishes came crashing down once he turned a tree to see Miguel standing there with his arms folded

Immediately sighing only fueling Miguel's smirk Chris shook his head

"Should I just give you my headband ?"

"I don't know, you wanna fight for it ?"

"No, Not really" Chris sighed taking off his headband before giving it to Miguel who just nodded his head

"Mhm, good try man"

"Yeah yeah yeah…." Chris said as he walked away

Standing among the now good portion of students Daniel, Barnes and Johnny saw Chris and Mitch approaching them adding on to the number of students that were eliminated

"Looks like we're down to our final 8" Barnes said as he looked at everyone

"Who's still alive ?" Johnny asked

"Miguel, Robby, Sam, Hawk, Tory, Demetri, Kenny and Devon" Daniel answered

Looking at the Forest in nothing but anticipation everyone waited for the final two people whoever they may be to reveal themselves so that they could all officially know who would be going to Barcelona

"We need a plan in case we run into anyone" Devon said

"I have a plan kick their ass" Kenny countred making Devon scoff

"Oh right like that's worked out well"

Kenny only rolled her eyes at her optimism

"Ok so what do you think we should do ?" Kenny said simply making Devon think as she bit her lip

"Ok well we can't fight Miguel or Hawk or Tory so that really just leaves Sam and Robby, Demetri and…."

Kenny and Devon had looked at one another and Immediately neither of them said anything as that was a bride they'd cross if they got there

"Ok it's settled, we'll go after Sam and Robby"

Immediately Devon pulled Kenny back

"What are you crazy !" Devon said making Kenny huff his breath

"You wanna fight Sam and Robby, the two people that have the best chances in kicking our ass ?"

"Well ! it's not like we have any other option. Devon we take them out we get our spot in the Sekai Taikai" Kenny said trying to serious get through to Devon only making her think as she held a concerned look on her face

"It's the only way and you know it"

Kenny did bring up a good and valid point…..

Giving some seconds to think it over Devon had soon caved letting out a groan knowing there was some truth Kenny spoke

"Damn it ! fine ok let's do it" she said making Kenny smirk

"You know after we officially solidify the rosters there's only one more thing needed to be made" Eli said as he and Tory continued to walk through the forest

Tory Immediately knew what was on his mind and what he was referring too as it was the thing everyone was wondering themselves

Coming to a stop in their walking so that they could look at one another they both had the same grin on their faces

"Getting a spot for the Sekai Taikai is easy…becoming Team Captain….."

Tory had Immediately chuckled, shaking her head as she started to think

"Yeah….it's a lot….haven't had much time to think about it but I-"

Hastily putting up a finger to shut Tory up, Eli's ears Immediately flickered

"What was that ?" he asked turning around to see bushes rustling behind them only putting the couple more on edge

"I'm gonna go find out, stay here" Eli said leaving Tory to nod her head before he walked off, following the trail

Being left alone within the forest Tory's eyebrows squinted as she continued to watch Eli leave getting taken deeper and deeper into the forest before he soon enough disappeared officially leaving her alone

But she wasn't the only one to know that as the sound of clad footsteps behind her Immediately made her turn around to find Demetri's angered scowl

"Oh ! shit ! jesus Demetri, what are you trying to do give me a heart attack" Tory said brining a hand over her chest while Demetri had just stood there with a scoff

Brining her heart rate back to normal Tory had shook her hands changing her demeanor

"But hey opposing sides right"

"Yeah, opposing sides" Demetri said as he started to walk to her

With his arms clenched Demetri couldn't shake what was on his mind this whole time, the true thing he wanted to ask, the reason why he was glad to have this moment with Tory

"I never trusted you" Demetri stated making Tory's brow only raise higher

"Even now I don't trust you, originally I didn't because of all the things you did to us. But now you just keep on giving me more reason not to trust you"

Tory just sighed

"Look Demetri if this is about Eli…I'm sorry ok. But you need to understand that he's his own person, he makes his own decisions and neither you or me can influence that"

"Ohh really ? YOU can't influence that" Demetri growled pointing directly at Tory

"Because ever since you started dating, you've done nothing but influence every decision he's ever made" he said making Tory diverge her eyes and bit her lip

"He's completely and utterly whipped by you and it's gotten to the point where every single thought he has always leads back to you-"

"So what's your point then huh" Tory cut Demetri off, he knew pressing her would only go so far. Knowing her tendency of fighting back

"My point." Demetri growled stepping face to face with Tory

"Is that your control on Eli is something to worry about, I mean who knows how long until you break his heart again and leave the rest of use to pick up the pieces-"

Tory had Immediately slapped Demetri only for him to catch her hand

The attack left both of them shook but it didn't last long as Tory had Immediately kicked Demetri in the gut forcing him to let go before following up with two kicks to the side that he blocked

Dodging her spin kick before blocking Tory's high kick, Demetri grabbed her leg before tripping her to the ground

With a pretty hard thud, Tory stayed low kicking Demetri away before kicking him in his leg tripping him to the ground as well

Demetri had only blocked her next kick through, before countering her attempted punch leaving him to pin her to the ground

Trying to shake free from his grasp Demetri's grip was too strong as it forced Tory to look at his angered glare

"Well it looks like your not going to Barcelona after all" Demetri said going to grab at Tory's headband making her eyes go wide

That was until Immediately someone had jumped and tackled Demetri off of Tory loosening her free and Immediately Tory got up to see it was Eli

Breaking free of one another Eli and Demetri had gotten up to their feet hastily seeing one another as they already stood in their fighting positions

Walking down a trail of the forest sounds of rustled leaves and sticks made Sam and Robby turn their heads

"Did you hear that ?"

"Yeah…"

The rustling sound only got louder happening more and more around them until suddenly Robby had gotten tackled out of nowhere

Immediately in instinct he blocked Kenny's attempted grab at his headband before doing a kick up to his feet recovering himself so that he could block a plethora of Kenny's jabs

Too focused by Kenny and Robby's fight Sam had barely dodged the kick Devon gave her directing her attention to the serious expression Devon was giving her with clenched fist

Devon and Kenny were fighting aggressively, trying to prove something in every attack they threw at them. Trying to overwhelm them some how some way

Dodging Kenny's jab before ducking under his swing. Robby Caught Kenny's arm and faked him out with an uppercut that made him flinch giving Robby exactly the chance he needed to grab Kenny's headband off his forehead making Kenny's eyes go wide

Blocking Devon's kick with her own leg, Sam countred with a jab Devon blocked leading Sam to kick her leg and fully flip her to the ground in a circular motion

Landing with a hard and heavy thud, Sam just grabbed her headband officially deeming both Kenny and Devon out the challenge

"Sorry Guys" Sam said to them both as she helped Devon up but right as she got to her feet Devon started stomping away trying to fight the tears that fell from her face

Robby had just patted Kenny on his back and Kenny gave Robby a sorrowed look before shaking his head as soon enough the two started to walk the trail back to the entrance where everyone stood leaving Sam and Robby alone with their headbands

"I wonder who's gonna come out first" Nate said surrounded by his fellow Eagle-Fang's and opposing Miyagi-Do's that were outed

"My money's on Demetri and Kenny" Mitch said

"Demetri ok but Devon ?" Bert stated

"Man yall don't give Demetri his props, It's gonna be Kenny and Devon" Chris said and everyone had only laughed at him making him roll his eyes

But when the sound of leaves rustling was heard making everyone quiet down as they watched in anticipation of who it was. Kenny and Devon revealed themselves shocking everyone

Chris had just clapped his hands holding an 'I told you so' look on his face

Johnny's face quickly softened seeing how sad Devon looked. And it only made him speed up more to approach them along with Barnes and Daniel

"Lee….Kenny" Barnes said gaining this defeated eyes

Barnes had just taken a deep breathe before letting go a small sigh

"Better luck next time" he said and Kenny nodded his head before walking away

Looking up at Johnny with tears Devon had Immediately hugged him and Johnny didn't even fight it, just holding her close in some form of comfort

"Well I guess we know who our top 6 is" Daniel said as he and Barnes looked at all the eliminated students

Barnes nodded his head

"Yep, now I guess we just gotta wait until they come back" he stated leaving the three Sensei's to look at the Forest entrance in nothing but anticipation

Doing nothing more but glaring at one another with their fist up Eli and Demetri didn't know what to say in this moment

All they did was continue to glare at one another not knowing who should make the first move

Eli saw Tory try to move towards him but he shook his head stopping her

"He's mine" Eli told her only making Demetri's eyebrows furrow more

"Great another instance where you choose your girlfriend over me"

"Jesus Demetri STOP IT ! ALRIGHT CUT IT OUT ! if you wanna be mad about me not going to MIT blame me, but not Tory-"

"Oh I DO blame you ! and because of YOUR poor decision making now we're not going to Barcelona together either !"

"LIKE I WOULD EVER WANT TO GO TO BARCELONA WITH YOU !"

"FINE BY ME ! HERE LET ME HELP YOU WITH YOUR DECISION !" Demetri yelled before suddenly sweeping Eli's leg making him drop to the ground with a groan

Immediately dropping down to grab at his headband Eli quickly grabbed his arm and kicked him in the back before maneuvering himself on the ground so that he could kick him in the chest

Getting up to his feet, Tory watched as the two boys started going back and forth

Throwing a jab Demetri blocked, Demetri threw his own that Eli blocked

The two had suddenly locked arms and Immediately Demetri shoved him into a tree before Eli blocked his jab and switched their positions

Striking a punch to his gut before striking one to his face Demetri blocked his third strike attempt, pushing back against Eli before grabbing his arm and wrapping it up into an armhold

"YEAH HOW DO YOU LIKE IT HUH ! HURTS DOESN'T IT ! IT'S WORSE WHEN IT'S A FRIEND !" Demetri's voice cracked at the last part but it didn't stop Hawk from groaning at the pain in his arm

Eli had glanced over to Tory who held a look of distress, one he didn't like seeing. He knew he couldn't loose and sure as hell didn't plan on it

He was going to Barcelona

With or without Demetri

Scrunching his arm Eli had reeled his foot back giving him the momentum he needed to perform a sideflip that broke him free of Demetri's tight grasp

Immediately following the move up with a side kick, Eli did a spinning back kick that launched Demetri directly into a tree making him slide down with a painful groan

Completely tunnel visioned and filled with anger Eli marched over to Demetri and grabbed him by the collar of his sweatshirt as he rose a fist up ready to strike

But he stopped….

Only stopped once he saw the fear in Demetri's eyes added with his bleeding nose that brought Eli back to reality

"shit…..shit….Demetri I'm sorry man I didn't mean to-"

"GET OFF OF ME !" Demetri yelled pushing Eli's hand away as he took off his headband and threw it to the ground

Letting out a sigh as Demetri got to his feet Eli looked at him in sorrow

Looking back at Eli with nothing but pin in his eyes Demetri shook his head more emotionally hurt than physically

"You never changed…..you just didn't have what you wanted" Demetri said making Eli sigh as he glanced at Tory

"D-"

"You two deserve each other" Demetri growled before limping away

Letting out a closed mouth sigh as he watched Demetri walk away Eli looked down at his fallen white headband and picked it up, soon clipping it on to his waist with the rest of his collection

Seeing that the fight was over Tory was hesitant to walk up to Eli. But she did carefully putting a hand on his shoulder

"Are you ok ?"

With an exhale as he ran a hand through his dark black and blue hair, Eli looked back at Tory with a headnod

"Yeah….yeah I'm fine. Come on, I'm confident Sam and Robby are the only ones left" he said before they walked away trailing into the forest once more

"Demetri's been gone a while" Sam said biting her lip as she looked at the Forest trail

"I know" Robby mumbled with his own form of concern

"I don't like it…I think someone might've eliminated him"

Sam didn't like the words Robby spoke. She hoped that Demetri was still in, that he was still alive in this thing. She noticed how different he was acting and if she had to guess it was probably due to the way they all treated him

She's seen his growth, seen the work he's put in and the way he's gotten better. All he wanted to do was prove himself and now she was worried that because of his aggression his self righteousness. He might've ruined his chance to the Sekai Taikai

Seeing the deep thoughtful trance Sam was in Robby pursed his lips

"Hey, he's gonna be ok. Demetri's resourceful" Robby said making Sam slump her face and nod her head in agreement

The sounds of rustling feet got both their attention as they had seen someone coming up a trail

"See look nothing to worry about, Demetri's right here" Robby said as they both looked at the trail watching to see the person reveal themselves

But they weren't prepared for who it was as the sight of Tory and Eli revealing themselves from the trail made Sam and Robby's eyes go wide

Eli and Tory had a similar reaction, practically pausing once they saw Sam and Robby

"Well look at what we got here" Eli smirked

Noticing the collection of headbands around their waste Robby and Sam looked at one another not only getting their answer on what happened to Demetri, but wondering who was eliminating all the Miyagi-Do's

"In all fairness we should've known this is what it would've came down too" Robby said as Eli and Tory came up to him and Sam face to face

"Yeah, well we're here now. You two ready ?" Tory stated

Looking between Eli and Tory Sam tilted her head, a challenging expression on her face as she had to admit this was a matchup she was looking forward too

"Well you know we're not gonna make the first move" Sam said making Eli and Tory smirk before soon enough the four of them got into their fighting positions looking at one another with testing looks

Eli and Tory struck first throwing a jab that Robby and Sam blocked making it official that they struck first

Following up their attacks Eli kicked Twice, both attacks Robby blocked while Tory swung a punch that Sam ducked before dodging her other swing

Creating some space between the two separate fights Eli and Robby started to ramp up their actions

Throwing a kick that Robby blocked with his own leg, He countred with a high kick making Eli move back before going low with a leg sweep tripping Eli to the ground

Attempting to pound and grab his headband, Eli just grabbed his arm and kicked Robby in the leg making him drop to a knee before giving him a heavy kick to the chest knocking him into a tree

Doing a kick up to his feet Eli quickly got back up while Robby needed a minute let out a groan before looking up at Eli's smirked expression

"Come on Keene you can do better than that man GET UP !"

Immediately scrunching his face in a growl Robby got up, dodging Eli's kick making his leg hit the tree before Robby replied with his own kick hitting Eli in the gut

Following up his attack, Robby grabbed Eli's face smashing it into his knee before jumping up into a back kick making Eli spin to the ground with his own heavy thud

Bringing herself to stay on the defensive. Sam blocked all of Tory's strikes and jabs, using both her arms to block Tory's kick before moving out the way of her high kick into a spin kick

Grabbing Tory's leg, Sam struck Tory's face with an elbow making Tory gasp in reaction. But Sam only applied more pressure, kicking her leg bringing Tory to one knee

Tory was quick enough to recover though. Brining Sam down fully to the ground with her as she flung Sam to the ground breaking their lock

Feeling the pool of blood within her mouth, Tory spit it out before getting up, wiping her mouth as she brought her fist back up into her fighting position before charging at Sam

Charing Directly at Robby, Eli had pinned him behind a tree before throwing a series of jabs and strikes that Robby had blocked with his arms, Soon grabbing Eli by the face and headbutting him breaking himself free before jumping off the tree behind him so that he could knee Eli in the chest knocking him back

Robby's attack had knocked Eli so hard that he rolled on the ground and soon got up finding himself standing next to Tory while the same happened to Sam as Tory's kick knocked her next to Robby

Seeing the damage caused they all had caused to one another each of them took a deep breathe before looking at their individual matchup as they brought their fist back up into a fighting position

They've been out here for a while, Since morning actually. And the sun was starting to go down showing just how long they've been out here

Looking up at the sun starting to set Daniel squinted an eyebrow

"Alright. I think it's time we go out there and look for them" he sighed along with Johnny

Seeing the view of students they had. Johnny was able to conclude himself that the only ones alive were Miguel, Robby, Tory, Sam and Hawk. and with Demetri coming back no that long ago they already had their top 6 There was no need to fight anymore

"Alright, I'll tell Barnes" Johnny said but before their conversation could continue someone came out the trails entrance getting everyone's attention as the person revealed themselves to be Miguel shocking everyone

"Miguel ?" Johnny mumbled before he and Daniel approached him

"I knew it everyone's already eliminated" he mumbled before Daniel and Johnny approached him

"Sensei, Mr LaRusso I had a hunch everyone was already eliminated so I came back…..I….I couldn't find Sam or Robby or Tory and Hawk anywhere ?" he said making Johnny and Daniel's eyes go wide as they looked at one another

"ok..ok, I'm calling the park ranger" Daniel said as he pulled out his phone while Johnny reached out to Miguel

But right before any type of work could start happening the sounds of bushes and leaves rustings made everyone turn their heads in confusion

Immediately shocking everyone Robby, Eli, Sam and Tory came tumbling out of the forest. Almost in a fighting like trance making everyone's eyes go wide

"What the hell ?" Miguel said as he saw Robby and Eli rise to their feet before going back to fighting one another

Sam and Tory had down the same as Sam stayed low to the ground, throwing a low seep kick that Tory jumped over before catching Sam's kick and throwing it away only to have Sam spin kick her in the face with her other leg

Everyone held a wide eyed expression at the fight before them and Miguel himself pounced where he stood, hating to see his friends fighting like this with one another. Even if it was for the competition the way they struck blow after blow with each other he could tell this was personal

"I'm gonna go stop them" Miguel said ready to run into the fire but Johnny had quickly grabbed his arm making Miguel look at him

"No no, Miguel don't…..you have to let them fight it out. It's the only way remember"

Letting out a small groan as he turned back to watch Robby swing and punch Eli in the face twice before Eli blocked and threw him at one of the nearby tables. Miguel shook his head before slumping his shoulders deciding to trust his Sensei

dodging Eli's kick that left his leg hitting the table Robby quickly pounced off the wooden furniture back kicking Eli causing him to the stumble backwards

Dodging Sam's punch, Tory had grabbed at the girl. Striking a knee that Sam blocked before maneuvering herself behind her so that Tory could put her in a tight headlock making everyone watching go wide eyed

Throwing a high kick that Eli ducked under, Eli responded with an uppercut that Robby dodged. Causing the two to go back and forth trading blows for blow before Eli did a spin kick creating space between them into a flip kick that Robby dodged with a one arm handspring

Eli quickly grabbed Robby's arm after he tried to punch him and flipped Robby over slamming him to the ground

Robby tried to get up but Eli had only doubled down placing an arm at Robby's neck keeping him pinned

Sam and Robby found themselves in stuck situations. Pinned down in some form as soon enough they locked eyes while they gasped for air

Almost giving each other pleading looks, somehow some way by the grace of god they thought about the same thing

It was risky

They could get in trouble for it

It was only meant to be used in matters of life and death

But they knew they had to win at all cost

Nodding their heads at one another. Sam Immediately struck an elbow at Tory breaking free from her hold

Wrapping his legs with Eli's Robby had flung Eli off of him before doing a kick up to get to his feet

Daniel watched with nothing but wide eyes and pure shock once they saw the specific Kata Robby and Sam were performing. He knew the moves that were about to take place and he didn't know what he was more shocked about

The fact that they were about to use it here NOW

Or the fact that they picked it up so fast

Throwing a fast and serious strike at Sam and Robby at the same time. Both Sam and Robby blocked Eli and Tory's punch with both their arms before jabbing Eli and Tory in the pressure point within their arms causing their arms to go numb

Both Eli and Tory shared the same jaw dropped expression as they watched their arms numbly fall before they looked at Robby and Sam in pure shock

Sam had used the distraction to sweep Tory's legs making her drop to the ground before grabbing her headband but Eli forced himself to strike another punch

One that Robby grabbed before flipping him to the ground harshly so that he could grab his headband as well

Immediately bringing the headbands up all the Miyagi-Do's had rushed to Robby and Sam. Cheering their names and praising them as a whole while the Eagle-Fangs let out disappointed groans in defeat

Looking at Robby and Sam being lifted up Johnny couldn't have been more proud and he let it be known by tapping Barnes in the arm

"Yeah, those are our kids" he said making Barnes chuckle and shake his head

Daniel had a different reaction though

He only shook his head, disappointed in Robby and Sam for abusing the technique he taught them. For nothing more but self defense. More so he was worried about just how well they picked up the use of it. Now not knowing if he could trust them or not

Letting out a groan as he clutched his arm, Eli helped Tory up as they both moved the limb around to try and get blood flowing again

They looked at how Robby and Sam were being praised, how the Miyagi-Do's surrounded them with cheers and smiles but. They didn't share the same sportsmanship

They didn't celebrate cheaters

Lining up the top 6 for all the Students to see Miguel, Robby, Tory, Sam, Eli and Demetri stood tall in front of everyone as Barnes smiled

"I give you Miyagi-Fang's Team Sekai Taikai" Barnes began as he listed them all leaving everyone to clap and cheer for their official team

"Miguel"

"Sam"

"Robby"

"Tory"

"Hawk"

"And Demetri"

The applause for Demetri himself was the loudest as it was the most unsure. No one truly knew who would be the 6th member but finding out it was Demetri was truly a shock

Eli clapped and looked at Demetri but Demetri himself just glared at Eli making his face drop

Walking up to Daniel and Johnny, Barnes bowed and they bowed back thanking him for everything they've done

"Well your team is made" Barnes said making Daniel and Johnny nod their heads

"Barnes we can't thank you enough for everything" Daniel responded by Barnes just waved his hands with a small smile

"Ah, it's nothing. Just a favor for an old friend"

"If you ever wanna swing by and show me some things bad boy to bad boy just let me know" Johnny said making Barnes chuckle before the took gave a firm handshake

"Good luck at the Sekai Taikai. You got yourself a pretty good team"

Johnny and Daniel turned to look at their top 6, watching as they interacted with everyone else and they only smiled

"Yeah….yeah we do"

With that Barnes began to walk away but Daniel was left with some form of uncertainty in him

"You know…." Daniel said looking back at Johnny who just raised an eyebrow

"We could use someone who has experience at the Sekai Taikai…." Daniel began and Immediately Johnny picked up what he was saying

"You want him to come with us ? isn't Chozen already our third Sensei ? we might be pushing it here"

"Rules regulate that there's a competitor limit of 6, nothing about Sensei's"

"I don't know LaRusso, it's risky…"

"Oh when has Johnny Lawrence ever been scared of risks ?"

Biting his tongue in nothing but thought the two grown men played a quick game of rock paper scissors for it before soon enough Johnny groaned in defeat before sigh

"HEY MIKE !" Johnny said making the man stop and turn to face Daniel's smile

"You wanna live out your dream and help us win the Sekai Taikai ?" Daniel asked Immediately making Barnes smile

Tory had just nodded her head, She's been keeping tabs and notes of everything the doctor told her. More specifically looking at the pills prescribed on the table in front of her

"Are you sure she still needs all that ?" Tory asked

Truth be told it's been…..so damn long since he Mom's been better, she's like a whole new person and with everything for once being good in her life Tory didn't want to ruin a good thing

"She's walking, she's laughing. She made me and my little brother dinner the other night. I can't remember the last time she did that"

The Doctor had only nodded her head

"Yeah she's tapering off her dosage….just make sure it stays that way. You're doing a great job taking care of your Mom Tory. Keep it up"

For the first time in whatever Tory actually smiled, a true. Sophisticated genuine smile. Maybe it was because of her mom, Or her amazing boyfriend or the fact that for once her life wasn't shit

But she smiled

She actually truly smiled

"No, yeah no Mom it's gonna be fine" Eli said

Waiting outside the nurses office. Eli stood in the hallway on the phone

Ever since they got a clear cut conformation of the top 6 and it was a official, he would indeed be going to Barcelona he's been trying to reassure to his mom that everything would be fine

"Mr LaRusso and Sensei Lawrence have everything under control. We even got this new Sensei, Sensei Barnes. Dudes badass…..sorry. He's really cool"

Coming out of the office room, Tory had smiled at the sight of Eli, his fingers pressed to the bridge of his nose as he shook his head with a groan making her softly laugh

"Yes Mom, I promise everything will be safe, I'll be safe….Yes I've started looking at other schools, I sent in my application to USC this morning"

glancing over at Tory's smile, seeing she was in fact done with her meeting Eli knew it was time to get off the phone

"Ok mom I gotta go, yeah love you bye" Eli said before Immediately hanging up making Tory chuckle once more

"Sorry, it's my mom ever since we found out the team she's been worried. Apparently letting me go halfway across the world to enter in some Karate Tournament is "Dangerous" like what I haven't been doing the past two years is dan-"

Tory had simply cut Eli off with a kiss

But not just any kiss

This was one different

Pulling back with her own loving grin Eli just chuckled

"Your always hungry" Tory joked

Continuing to walk down the parking lot together a dark figure had popped up behind up

They noticed it almost immediately. Someone was following them

"Someone's following us" Eli said trying to act as normal as possible

"Yeah I know" Tory said as she reached for her keys

They continued to act normal, as if they didn't see them until the figure got close enough to where they could break apart

Tory Immediately turned around and swiped her keys missing the figure and Eli threw a kick that the figure caught but that was Immediately when the couple noticed who it was

"Glad to see you two are still training" Kreese smirked making Eli and Tory's eyes go wide in reaction of seeing him as Kreese dropped Eli's leg

"What are you doing here ?" Tory asked

"Ar-aren't the police looking for you ?"

"Oh, I'm not that easy to catch. I just came to check up on my champion"

"Yeah well you better get lost" Eli threatened gaining Kreese's eyes

"Before I call them and you end up back in a jail cell"

Kreese had only grown his sick sinister smirk as he looked Eli up and down

"Mr Moskowitz, Boy do I miss your aggressive temper. I'm glad to see I was right all along. You did have what it takes to become a champion" Kreese said but Eli had Immediately scoffed and rolled his eyes not trying to hear anything he had to say

"Oh so now you care about me" Tory scoffed

"Remember the last thing you said to me ?"

Thinking back on their last visit, the last time they even saw each other. Tory remembered exactly what Kreese told her

The best thing you can do right now is look after yourself

Letting out a small sigh Tory continued

'I went back for you, and you left me to deal with Silver and his psycho bitch sidekick alone"

"You have every right to be angry, but I could not involve you in my plan to….liberate myself" Kreese said making Tory's face drop

"I know it seemed cold, but I was only trying to protect you-"

"You need to stop fucking lying" Eli growled

"Every goddamn word that comes out of your mouth is nothing but a lie to benefit yourself and no else" Eli said continuing to press Kreese who just let him continue

"I know exactly what you want, the only reason you tracked us down so I'm gonna be the first and last person to tell you. WE want NOTHING to do with you" Eli said and Kreese had glanced down at Tory's bag to see her Miyagi-Fang Gi sticking out making him smirk

"I See, You know, I never thought I'd see the day when…..The Queen Cobra would join the enemy" Kreese said making Tory purse her lips as she tried to say that They were her friends but that didn't stop Kreese from looking at Eli

"She must've got that from you" Kreese said making Eli ball up his fist

"I mean, a Queen only follows her King-"

"Look this was real nice and all" Eli began as he retreated back to Tory ready to make their leave

"But we're done here. Have a nice life "Sensei"

With that Eli and Tory turned around to leave but Kreese himself wasn't done with the conversation

"You two are being naive" he said as they continued to walk

"They'll invite you in, but you'll never truly belong there. There's not enough space for two sets of royalty, There can't be two kings and queens. And when push comes to shove. LaRusso and Lawrence will always choose Keene and LaRusso's Kid"

The mention of Robby and Sam had only made them stop, come to a pause making Kreese grin knowing he got through to them. Even worse Eli and Tory felt the spots on their arms that Robby and Sam hit causing them to go numb

"Hell, it's probably already happened. Hawk" Kreese said making Eli flinch at the assertiveness way he said his name…The way he used to say it

"You used to be their number one, back when the roles were reversed and Keene was pretending to be something he wasn't. But Keene's back now, He's reclaimed his throne and you're back to being Number 2….except Diaz is also there ? So really your Number 3 ?"

Immediately Eli turned on his heels, Tory tried to stop Eli but nothing stopped him from marching over to Kreese and grabbing him by his collar before he slammed him next to a car door making Kreese grin

"Eli stop" Tory said trying to pry him off

"There he is, the one true KING COBRA" Kreese said soaking in Eli's angered glare and clenched jaw

"Eli let him go"

"You know son I'll let you know I do regret one thing, I regret letting you go" Kreese admitted

"I should've never tried to turn Keene into something he wasn't. Not when I have the perfect sunset right here"

Slamming Kreese against the car door again the old man chuckled

"God you're everything I wanted Johnny to be, Loyal, committed, Aggressive, ruthless, You were a King under my rule, Both of you. Treated like nothing less"

"I was a Bully ! and a psycho ! I lost everyone I was ever close with when I listened to the bullshit you fed me !" Eli yelled

"I gave you the one thing everyone wishes they had. I made you respected !" Kreese said as Eli clenched his jaw

"Say what you want but in my dojo, in my Cobra Kai. YOU were number one. YOU were my star students. You were like a son to me. And Johnny may have Diaz and LaRusso may have Keene but YOU Hawk, You had me. You'll always have me as I am your one. True. Sensei"

"Your a damn Psycho, and a criminal" Eli growled finally letting go of the man as Tory pulled him back

"Get the fuck out of here" Tory said

"We may not be calling the police, but if our senseis see you, they will"

"I, a, your Sensei" Kreese said

"And you, You both" he said looking at Eli and Tory

"You are my Champions"

Swallowing the lump within his throat Eli and Tory shook their heads

"We may be Champions, But we are not yours" she said before soon enough they both walked away leaving Kreese to watch as they not only walked away from him, but the people they used to be

Standing within the Miyagi-Fang Dojo Miguel, Demetri, Sam and Robby looked at their Gi's in nothing but pure awe not knowing what to say

"I…I think we're not only going to kick ass, but we're gonna look amazing while doing it !" Sam absolutely smiled only making Moon squeal in pure delight

With a finger up to her face as she examined their custom made Gi's Yasmine titled her head

"Yep, I like these way more than those….things you used to be wearing" she said making the 4 of them chuckle

Looking at the blend of white matching each of their personal access colors, Miguel couldn't stop looking at his Gi up and down not knowing what to say

"I like the personal colors" Miguel noted seeing the black and yellow lines run across the hems and main section of his Gi while the primary was all white

Looking at Sam, Robby and Demetri's Miguel noticed the difference in color as Sam's was pink while Robby's was Green and Demetri's was blue

"I like the Last names stitched on" Robby said looking at the Green Keene stitched onto the right side of his Gi next to his chest

Everyone had them as Miguel had a yellow Diaz on his Gi, Sam had a pink LaRusso and Demetri had a blue Alexopoulos

"Awww, cute little Flags" Sam pointed out making Moon and Yasmine chuckle as Sam saw the American flag stitch on her arm, the same one each Gi shared

"Moon Honey, You've truly outdone yourself this time" Miguel said making Moon smile before Miguel leaned down to give her a kiss on the lips

"Oh ! Have you heard from Stanford yet ?" Moon asked, wrapping her arms around Miguel as she suddenly felt the want to hold onto him

Miguel just shook his head sadly

"No, not yet…."

"Hey don't stress man It'll come. If Stanford's seen your grades and what your about to do in the Sekai Taikai. They'll be begging for you to join" Robby said with a small smile making Miguel nod his head

Demetri decided to be equally as supportive

"Yeah, plus you applied early. That should help you get in…..kinda like me with MIT" he said

What Demetri said originally slipped everyone's mind but it wasn't until they doubled back looking at Demetri's smile did they fully understand

"What ?" Miguel said with a smile one that everyone else was starting to grow as well while Demetri chuckled

"I…got in" he admitted quietly but they heard him this time and Immediately they cheered for him

"Dude ! that's amazing !" Miguel said as Robby had Immediately picked Demetri up in a hug making him chuckle

Letting out a couple of laughs along with trying to fight off Yasmine pressing Kisses all over his face, Demetri couldn't escape the others smiles towards him

"I worked my ass off and, I'm just glad I got in, Both MIT…..and the Sekai Taikai"

Patting Demetri on his back Robby smiled

"Hey you earned it. Look at you, I feel like a proud father" Robby joked making Demetri playfully roll his eyes but Sam had came in to join the joke

"They grow up so fast, Honey. One day they've joined the dojo and the next your sending them off to college" she said holding Robby close as now they both started to fake cry making Miguel, Moon and Yasmine start to laugh

Holding up a pad so that Tory could punch, Eli knew she had to let off some steam. And this was the best way to do it

They also sported their Top 6 Gi's as Eli's color was red while Tory's color was purple but it was pretty hard to think about how pretty they looked when all they could think about was Kreese's little visit

"Why do you think Kreese came back ? what do you think he wanted ?"

"What he always wants" Tory said as she struck at the pad

"To use us. Like he used to. Try and get his lap dogs back" he said as she punched the pads again

Eli just nodded his head, looking at the King Cobra Tattoo on his arm before shaking his head

"Yeah well it's not gonna work. We're Miyagi-Fang, Even got those custom Gi's to prove it" he said making Tory nod her head before she punched the pad again

Continuing to strike the pads as she let out her anger Tory couldn't help but glance over at Robby and Sam, the couple having their own conversation away from everyone else

Eli had soon enough followed her eyes, turning his head to see what was taking her mind away but when she looked at Robby and Sam who were smiling and talking while holding hands he already knew what was wrong

"What do you think that was ?" Eli asked

"That move they hit us with ? the one that caused our arms to go numb ?"

Tory just shrugged her shoulders

"I don't know, Probably something Mr LaRusso taught them. And only them. You know they have special treatment"

"Special treatment ? That's what you're calling it ?" Eli said with a chuckle but Tory was only being serious

"What would you call it ? I mean think about it, Robby's Sensei Lawrence's son, Sam's Mr LaRusso's Daughter. Both are Sensei's of the dojo. Sam and Robby are like supposed to be the leaders of this place. As much as we all act like it's not true they get special treatment. So that move they hit us with. Must be perks of being a Legacy kid"

"Legacy Kid, hmm I like that name better" Eli said making Tory groan but he just responded with a laugh

"Hey, hey I'm just kidding. I'm kidding" Eli said as he dropped the pads so that he could take Tory's face in his hands making her look at him

"I'm just joking, I get what your saying" Eli said making Tory now sigh

"Got me thinking how funny it would be if we took the Captain title away from them"

Bringing up the mentions of Captain only made Tory grin which satisfied Eli as he just continued

"Captains are supposed to get all the attention, all the glory. You and me. We become the Captains, We'd change your life forever" he said as he laced their hands together making Tory smile more

"One last shot at making it big, we'd prove to everyone that we're the best"

"We'd make Robby and Sam look like fools" Tory agreed

"You know, taking the Captain title away from them. Hell Sensei Lawrence and Mr LaRusso probably already gave it to them"

"No way, I mean We are the Champs after all, they have some decency, those runner ups aren't gonna get the Captain title without a fight…and we'll make a deal, no matter what. Win lose or draw, we'll do this together, no more splitting up" Eli said making Tory chuckle and smile as she nodded her head before she leaned up to kiss him having their goals and thoughts in mind

"So" Sam began swaying her and Robby's arms together making him chuckle

"Our Teams officially made, We have Customized Gi's, even got a new Sensei so that makes 4"

Bringing up their recent gains and quite literally pros only made Robby grin more, more so because he loved seeing the smile on Sam's face

"Now all that's left is….."

"The Captains" Robby finished for her making her chuckle

"Yeah, the Captains. Obviously it's gonna be us right ?"

"Oh it's obvious ?" Robby joked making Sam chuckle and shake her head

"Ok ok, not obvious….but I'd say we have the best chance"

"Oh what gave it away, the fact that our dads are the two head Sensei's, the fact that we've been leaders of this place since we started Miyagi-Do….or how about the fact that we just might be the best students here ?"

Not able to hold back her smile, Sam bit her lip as she thought about it

"Can I say all the above ?" Sam asked making Robby chuckle

Looking down as he gripped her hands tighter, running his thumbs over her knuckles Robby just shook his head

"It would make the most sense huh…." he asked raising his face to look at hers

"You, me, on that podium in front of the whole world to see….I don't know….it just…..It feels right you know ?"

Sam simply nodded her head understanding him completely

"It feels like our destiny, our Legacy in a way. Like everything we've ever done leads us to this very moment"

"It would be satisfying as well" Robby pointed out

"To stop being in Second place, to finally…..finally have something to be proud of"

"Hey" Sam cooed brining a soft hand up to his face as she drew his eyes back to hers

"You do have something to be proud of. Robby everyone here looks up to you. Without you we'd be lost…I was, when you were gone, Miyagi-Do could barely operate. Dad had to shut down and Cobra Kai almost won"

Mentioning the past only made Robby's glum face stick as he had already admitted his past faults

"And remember you're not the only one runner up here" Sam said as now she grew a glum face but Robby had only chuckled as it was his turn to pick her up. Both metaphorically and literally as he brought her chin up with his fingers

"We both have the opportunity to change that" Robby said

"You and me, if we go to the Sekai Taikai. Hand in Hand as Team Captains and we win. All anyone will ever remember is us, Standing on the podium for the whole world to see"

Robby brought up a good point

And Sam had a hard time disagreeing with him

"Alright let's make a pact" he said bringing his hand out

"You and Me, No matter what we win this thing together"

Sam didn't need a promise as she just sealed their deal with a kiss, brining a hand to hold Robby close as she just kissed him making her promise

Coming out the Inside Dojo Daniel, Johnny and newest Miyagi-Fang Sensei and Member Mike Barnes revealed themselves as Daniel clapped his hands with a smile on his face

"Alright everyone Group up" Daniel ordered leaving everyone to do as told

"Hey ! woah sick Gi's" Mitch said as everyone started to notice Miguel, Demetri, Sam, Tory, Robby and Eli's customized Gi's

"Woah these are cool, who made those ?"

"Perks of being the top 6 I guess"

Kenny and Devon simply looked at one another trying not to hide their hurt and discomfort

"Ladies we appreciate the work you've given us" Johnny told Moon and Yasmine making them smile

"Not only are we gonna Kickass at the Sekai Taikai, But we'll look badass while doing it" Johnny said

"And you know….if you wanna make me one-"

"Johnny !" Daniel yelled making Johnny sigh but it didn't stop him from quickly leaning in towards them

"I'm a large"

"JOHNNY !"

With a final yell Daniel just shook his head

"Our final Roster for the Sekai Taikai is due in three days, and now that we know who's going, It's time for us to name our male and female captains"

Miguel, Demetri, Eli, Robby, Sam and Tory had just looked at one another as Barnes picked up where Daniel left

"The captains are not just the leaders of the team. But they're the ones that will be fighting in the finals. If you six are good enough to make it that far"

"Plus, they get to fight on live TV. Who knows what comes after that, Wheaties boxes, chop-socky flicks, ZZ Top videos. Sky's the limit people"

Eli and Tory just looked at one another and smiled

"You'll all get the glory if we win" Daniel reassured

"But yes, the captains will be in the spotlight, they need to represent the best of what Miyagi-Fang has to offer and Me, Sensei Lawrence and Sensei Barnes will assure that the decision will be completely unbiased"

Daniel had just glazed at Sam and Robby before shaking his head knowing he had to follow his word

"That's right. In two days, Sam and Tory will face each other for the female Captain spot" Johnny confirmed making Sam and Tory look at each other with a headnod

"In the same two days we'll have a three way fight between Hawk, Robby and Miguel to see who faces who for Male Captain. First to get eliminated is out for the running and the match will be back to three point regulation" Barnes stated

The three boys just looked at one another and nodded their heads

"We all know you're all badass but this is still the best way for us to see who's progressed the most" Daniel said

"Alright enough talking, Top 6. Get inside. I'm gonna whip your butts into shape" Johnny said before soon enough they did as Hawk, Demetri, Tory, Robby, Miguel and Sam headed into the inside dojo

"Alright LaRusso, you train the others out here. I'm gonna go do my thing in here"

"Alright sounds good, but please. Johnny, no sparring in there. We Remember what happened last time"

Before the two could split up Barnes had actually gotten their attention. Rubbing his hands carefully before speaking

"Hey, you know….I was thinking. Before the three way match tomorrow. Are you guys ok if I give Hawk some one-on-one training ? or is that stepping on any toes ? I don't wanna ruin anything ?"

Daniel and Johnny simply looked at one another before they shrugged their shoulders

"No, yeah that's fine I was actually gonna go over some things with Robby" Daniel said and Johnny agreed

"Yeah, same I was gonna rewatch bloodsport with Miguel, show him this new move I've been developing called the Finisher ! it's where you-"

"Ah ah ah ! I already left" Daniel said as he walked away to the students taking Barnes with him and Johnny had only sighed and shook his head before stepping inside

"I didn't even get to explain the move yet…I came up with my own Kata and everything"

Standing in front of Miguel, Demetri, Robby, Eli, Tory and Sam the top 6 had followed Johnny's lead performing his movements as he spoke out loud

"The Key to Miyagi-Fang is balance and aggression. You must stay on balance while fighting back" Johnny said taking a sip of his beer as Miguel stood on the platform of the Koi Pond

"You got to stay on your feet no matter what life throws at you"

Finishing his last sip Johnny placed his empty beer can in the ball machine leaving everyone to watch as Beer Bottles started being flung to Miguel

"Mr Miyagi fought for America. You're gonna have to do the same" Johnny said

Moving a punching dummy that wore a French shirt and a Beret in front of the wooden fence, Johnny looked back at the 6 of them

"Foreign kids don't speak English, but they do speak Karate"

Each of them took turns attacking the Dummy as Johnny changed out their shirts with different countries on it with Miguel be first up Kicking the Dummy as he knocked the Beret off it's head

"Your gonna have to kick higher"

Sam kicked Dummy wearing a chinese flag on the shirt

"And harder than ever before"

Kicking another Dummy Demetri just raised an eyebrow

"Sensei Lawrence the Soviet Union doesn't even exist-"

"QUIET !" he shouted shutting Demetri up making him sigh

"I need a bottle to throw" Johnny said and Immediately Demetri took off running

Continuing their training Johnny continued to launch more bottles at them as they stood on the Koi Pond watching as they soon found their balance and started to smash them on impact

"Breathe and clear your minds" Johnny said as they all sat together

"Calm and Focus your eyes, Watch closely watch closely here comes the good part right here" he said pointing at the TV as they all watched the Movie closely

"Hell yeah"

"Kick to the stomach. Block his attack" Johnny said as they all continued his Kata

"Grab his nuts, Twist, Twist, Twist, Twist"

"Alex Grady is the character he's playing. Lost his shoulder in the first movie and in the second Movie it's miraculously healed" Johnny said as they continued watching the movie closely leaving them all to node their heads as even Demetri was taking notes

"And if you believe in yourselves, you could be like Eric Roberts too"

Letting out an angered yell Eli struck the Dummy so hard the fence behind fell making Johnny clap his hands

"HELL YES ! GREAT JOB HAWK !"

Catching the different bottles flung at him, Demtri continued to duck and dogged while still staying atop the Platform

"Good job Demetri !"

Trying to catch one of the bottles, Eli had fell losing his balance as soon enough he rolled into the water making everyone cringe while watching while Johnny shook his head

Emerging out the water, Eli just shook his head as his Black and Blue wet hair covered his face

"Well look at it this way, You don't gotta worry about keeping up with a Mohawk anymore" Johnny said trying to have some reassurance to this but Eli had just spit out some water

Drying off himself off with a towel Eli let out a quiet groan as being wet and submerged in water today was not on his bingo card

Eli continued to mindlessly dry off his air not noticing Barnes approach him

"Hey kid" Barnes said getting Eli's attention as he quickly turned around to face Barnes

"Oh ? Hey…Sensei" Eli said with a chuckle

"Sorry, not used to having four Sensei's….gonna take some getting used to"

Barnes simply chuckled putting his hands out as he walked too him

"No I get it it's fine" he began starting to rub his hands searching for the words he wanted to say

"So, Your in the runs for Captain huh"

Eli nodded his head

"Yeah…yeah I'm excited…." Eli said trying to sound confident but Barnes saw right through him

"Oh who am I kidding I'm screwed"

Letting out a sigh Eli took a seat on the steps of the Inside Dojo before running a hand through his wet black and blue hair leaving Barnes to just watch him

"My chances of becoming Captain are down to zero" Eli stated with a sigh making Barnes scrunch his face

"Robby and Miguel were always the teachers' favorites. Even if I miraculously win tomorrow, Sensei Lawrence or Mr LaRusso are just gonna look at me differently wishing I was Miguel or Robby…"

Letting out another sigh with a head shake Barnes truly understood how distressed Eli was, seeing just how important being a Captain was to him

"I'm gonna let Tory down and…..that's the last thing I want"

Nodding his head mindlessly, Barnes looked around the Dojo before licking his lips

"Let me ask you something ?" Barnes said gaining Eli's eyes

"Why did you start Karate ?"

Barnes's question made Eli raise his eyebrow

"To learn how to fight-"

"Don't give me that bullshit kindergarten answer !" Barnes suddenly yelled making Eli jump

"Come on ! the real reason"

Licking his lips with a sigh Eli responded

"I got into Karate because I wanted to change myself-"

"EXACTLY !" Barnes said still leaving Eli confused

"Exactly, You got into Karate to change yourself, you wanted to become something more"

Barnes approached Eli, taking a seat right next to him so that they could talk on a one on one level

"Look kid, I may be new here but It doesn't take a genius to know that Your special" Mike began and the visible shock on Eli's face was real

"It's why you impressed me the most, It's why I vouched for you to become Captain. Because not only are you capable and have the guts for it. Out of everyone here I can tell YOU love Karate the most. It means the most to you"

Standing up on his own two feet Mike offered his hand to Eli

"You remind me a lot like myself when I was your age, Hot headed, Aggressive, assertive, and if you take my hand and let me help you. Maybe you'll have a Sensei in this dojo rooting for you"

Eli looked Barnes up and down, completely at awe at his speech not knowing what to say at all

But he knew what to do as with a small smile, he took Barnes's hand letting him pull him up into a tight and firm handshake making them both smirk knowing they had work to do

Letting out a sigh as he scratched the back of his head in pure thought. The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs was heard before soon enough Robby and Sam revealed themselves

"Hey Dad, what's up" Sam said as she and Robby looked at him wondering what he wanted

Rubbing his hands together as he tried to find the words Daniel knew he had to be assertive, maybe it was time to take Johnny's advice and do this the Eagle-Fang way

So Daniel let out one more closed mouth sigh before balling his fist

"Why did you guys use Mr Miyagi's technique against Hawk and Tory ?" Daniel bluntly asked making Robby and Sam's eyes go wide

The couple had just looked at one another not knowing how to respond while Robby licked his lips searching for what to say

"Well you said we were masters, that we were able to use it"

"In matters of life and Death Sam, Matter of life and Death" Daniel pleaded

"Not some street fight or competition, I mean you two don't understand that technique…..It was made to KILL people. To end someone's life you can't just use it whenever you both want to so that you don't lose a fight"

"Mr LaRusso we're sorry ok" Robby said truly grasping the importance of what he was saying but it was clear Daniel was beyond mad at them

Shaking his head Daniel just sighed walking up to Robby who for once was actually scared of Daniel, seeing the pure disappointment on his face

"You know…..I expected more from you Robby, I'm heavily disappointed in you….." Daniel said making Robby's face drop completely before Daniel walked away leaving the sting within his chest to stay there with no signs of going away

"I just hope this whole Captain thing doesn't drive a rift between them you know. You said Robby, Miguel and Eli are gonna fight each other tomorrow ?"

"Ah Robby and Miguel will be fine, they'll probably beat Hawk Tomorrow anyway"

Carmen nodded her head knowing that meant Robby and Miguel would have to fight each other then

"I hope this doesn't drive a rift between Miguel and Robby, You know ? they've come so far"

"Ah don't worry" Johnny said in reassurance again

"They're good. I've been watching 'em"

Immediately letting out a soft groan Carmen's hands retreated to her stomach with an "Oh"

"Hey what's wrong ?" Johnny asked Immediately becoming protective of her as he put down his beer bottle but Carmen just nodded her head and smile as he placed a hand over her stomach

"Yeah…she's kicking" Carmen said making Johnny smile before fully walking up to her so that he could place a hand over her growing stomach allowing him to feel the kicks as well

The front door had opened revealing it to be Miguel, who just sighed

Looking across the hall to see Robby entering the building Miguel had only sighed and it didn't take long for Sam's eyes to follow as she noticed Robby as well now making this awkward

Miguel let out a painfully sigh as he began to clutch his head leaving Johnny to truly understand the pressure Miguel was facing

Continuing to strike the tree Barnes made him hit, Eli pushed through the pain as he saw the dent he was creating

If I can win the Sekai Taikai not only as Team Captain but with Mr Miyagi's wisdom I would've finally felt like I completed my journey"

Sitting at home, her back to the wall Tory isolated herself, sitting alone as she tried to deny…..everything

She had been sitting there for hours, Looking up at the ceiling mindlessly as she could only think of one thing and one thing only

The cap made her think, Made her think back to her childhood, a childhood in where they were so poor that she had to draw ontop of takeout boxes instead of paper

Her mother's words rang through her head as the memory of her mother continued to play like a song and the corus being the words that stuck over and over

Standing in the middle of the Miyagi-Do Dojo Robby continued to shadow box as he prepared for the big day Tomorrow

The sun had set and it was high time into the night but it didn't stop him nor tire him out as he continued to burn his energy letting it run its course

Letting out huffs of breaths Robby continued to drip sweat revealing his shirtless frame

"Hey" he said getting Eli's attention

Eli nodded his head

"Yes Sensei"

Continuing to Shadow box Daniel placed a hand on Robby's shoulder halting his movements

"Are you ready to become Captain ?"

Robby had nodded his head confidently making Daniel smile

"Good, also is that lipstick on your neck ?"

Robby's eyes had Immediately went wide as he quickly brushed it off but by the grace of god Barnes's voice called them to the stage leaving Robby to nervously chuckle at Daniel

"Sorry gotta go" he said before rushing on the stage making Daniel raise an eyebrow before shaking his head

"Ewww"

"So you promise me you won't get hurt too bad ?" Moon asked making Miguel chuckle

"Yes, yes I promise now honey I gotta go ok"

With a small sigh Moon nodded her head quickly kissing Miguel before he ran up leaving Moon to just stand back and watch with Yasmine who had her finger to her chin in deep thought

"I think Mr Lawrnece would look good in White and Red" she said making Moon roll her eyes

Everyone grouped up to watch the match about to start and Sam had only watched in anticipation already having her vote in mind. But she had to be unbiased as three of them were her friends and truthfully anyone of them would be amazing choses

"Hey where's Tory ?" Amanda asked Sam but her daughter just shrugged her shoulders

"I don't know, Eli said he's been calling her but she hasn't been picking up. She should be here" Sam responded making Amanda go "oh" as she started to get worried

Standing upon the stage Johnny clapped his hands as Miguel, Robby and Eli stepped onto the stage while Barnes started to explain the rules

"In this fatal Three way elimination match no points are regulated" he said as the three boys took their positions

"You all can strike each other as many times as you want and it won't affect the match. The real Match doesn't start until one of you gets knocked off the stage IS THAT UNDERSTOOD !"

Miguel, Eli and Robby nodded their heads before shouting

"YES SENSEI !"

"Good, after one of you is knocked off the Real Match begins. At that point it will turn into a regulated three point system match up. The person that gets to three points wins IS THAT UNDERSTOOD !"

"YES SENSEI !"

"Good" Barnes said before looking at Daniel giving him the stage with a bow

Stepping among the boys scowls Daniel took a deep breath before speaking

"Face me" he said and they did

"Bow"

"Face each other" and they did

Everyone knew what came next as the boys got into their fighting position while Daniel raised his hand

Everyone watched in anticipation hearts racing as everyone watched for the moment when Daniel would drop his hand

So when he did it felt unreel watching as Eli started the fight lunging at Robby with a superman punch before throwing a spin kick to Miguel leaving them both to dodge the attacks

Quickly dodging Robby's uppercut, Eli ducked under Miguel's swing leaving Miguel to Immediately block Robby's kick before blocking his two kicks to the side

Blocking a plethora of Robby's jabs and strikes, before dodging his comboed swing Miguel struck back leaving Robby to block his jabs and heavy swing back

The two boys went back and forth trading blows and blocks before Eli had jumped in kicking away Robby's attempted Kick before grabbing at Miguel

Giving Miguel a series of knees that he blocked, Miguel swung Eli's arms away before doing a spin kick knocking Eli into Robby crashing them to the ground of the stage

The fight had only continued as Eli rolled off of Robby quickly blocking his kick as they got to their knees staying low to the ground

Blocking all of Robby's low jabs gradually building up from the ground back to their feet, Eli dodged Miguel's spin kick leaving him to suddenly defen from Miguel and Robby

Going back and forth blocking Eli's low strike to high jab before using both his arms to block Miguel's kick and bringing his leg up to dodge his sweep kick Eli had only gritted his teeth in anger

He couldn't fail, he couldn't lose. He had to win

For Tory

Doding Miguel's heavy swing Eli Immediately responded by grabbing the back of his head so that he could clash their heads with a headbutt dazing Miguel

Slapping away Robby's jab and dodging his uppercut Eli had jumped up in a spin kick Slapping Robby across the face dazing him as well

Using their dazment as an advantage Eli had dropped down into a one handed handstand and performed a split kick kicking both Miguel and Robby down onto the stage

His move made everyone drop their jaws in a complete wide eyed expression as the energy and momentum had completely shifted in Eli's favor and Barnes couldn't be more proud

Raising his leg up to dodge Robby's sweep kick, Eli dodged each of Robby's low jabs grabbing his arm and striking Robby in the face before hitting him with a heavy hook swing that made Robby drop to the stage

Eli had only kept the energy up as he tried to spartan kick Miguel only missing due to his dodge

But that didn't stop Eli from throwing a back spin kick that Miguel ducked under giving Eli the chance he needed to grab Miguel's head and knee him in the face before clocking him directly in the face as well

Holding onto Miguel by his Gi Eli applied more pressure as they both began to walk almost off the stage with Eli trying to push Miguel off

Striking a punch to his side that Miguel barley blocked before kneeing him in the ribs Eli rose his fist up ready to punch Miguel so hard he'd fall off the stage

But that was Immediately when Tory walked into the Dojo all for Eli to see as he Immediately had gotten distracted

Seeing Tory practically made his heartstop as he just smiled knowing she was fine

"Tory…" Eli mumbled

But unfortunately to him his distraction gave Robby the chance he needed to sneak up on Eli kicking his leg in a twist making him lose balance

Miguel had followed up Robby's attack with an elbow to the face forcing Eli to let go of him before soon enough Miguel and Robby struck together side kicking Eli launching him off the stage

The attack had been so devastating to him that it felt like he happened in slow motion for everyone to watch

The most painful part was when Eli landed on the ground with a heavy thud in a small bounce but just as quick as he had been launched the fight continued as Barnes shook his head looking at Eli before looking at Robby and Miguel announcing the match to officially start

"FIGHT !" he said

Huffing their breaths as they were already tried, the three way deathmatch giving them a run for their money. Miguel and Robby kept their ferocity and brought their hands up into their fighting positions

"AIS !"

Now that they couldn't strike freely anymore and had to be mindful of their attacks and openings the fight had severely slowed down

Pouncing at one another as they tested each other Miguel and Robby moved around as Robby was the one to draw first blood throwing two jabs that Miguel blocked before they tested Kata against each other

Blocking an up strike before a down strike, Miguel struck a spin kick that Robby dodged

Quickly dropping down low ducking under Robby's heavy swing, Miguel tripped Robby to the stage's ground before claiming his first point with a punch to the chest

"POINT ! DIAZ !" Daniel said as Miguel got up leaving everyone to clap their hands

Letting out a small groan Robby got back to his feet and back to his position across from Miguel raising their fist into a fighting position

"One point Diaz, No points Keene" Daniel said as Robby and Miguel glared at one another

"Ready ? Fight !"

Doing a fake pounce that made Miguel flinch Robby struck a spin kick that Miguel dodged turning so that he could dodge Robby's high kick before dodging Robby's other spin kick

Miguel had struck, putting Robby on the defensive as he started to block a plethora of Miguel's strikes. Keeping a strong defensive core before dodging Miguel's uppercut

Performing a side front flip over Miguel's leg sweep Robby tried to Sweep Miguel's leg as well only to have Miguel raise his leg in a dodge

Miguel tried to respond back with a spin kick that Robby blocked forcing the two of them to come to a standstill as Robby blocked Miguel's up jab then his side jab quickly blocked his low jab so that he could strike his Miguel's chest with a block gaining his first point as he dropped Miguel back to the mat

"POINT KEENE !" Daniel said, making everyone cheer as Johnny clapped his hands with a "yeah !"

With a smile on her face Sam took a sigh and a quiet prayer not trying to get to excited as Robby and Miguel took back to the mat getting into their fighting positions

Tory had gotten closer to the match knowing she was next up but Amanda had to Immediately double take once she saw Tory's face and paleness

"One to One" Daniel said leaving Robby and Miguel to look at one another with their fist up

"Ready ? Fight !"

Applying pressure to the fight Miguel started the match off with jumping spin kick that Robby ducked under

Not stopping there Robby was forced to block Miguel's strikes and dodge his spinning punch Immediately being put on the defensive as he blocked all of Miguel's jabs and attempted grabs

Creating space between them Robby tried to spin kick before blocking Miguel's jab as they touched hands causing them both to flinch

Attacking with an up strike and a low strike both attacks Miguel dodged Miguel and Robby looked at each other with clenched fist and determined face as Miguel blocked Robby's jab at his chest before giving his own that Robby blocked Immediately following up his defensive attack with a kick to his arm that made Miguel step back

Jumping up in the air Robby had spun and kicked Miguel directly in the face making him flip to the mat as everyone was in awe

"POINT !" Daniel said making everyone cheer again as Sam was more verbal with her clapping showing her support for Robby

Robby himself has let out a groan as he felt his body start to give he was starting to run on fumes and his tank was getting empty he knew he had to finish this fight fast

Banging his hand on the mat Miguel let out a tired groan as he was the same way

"Miguel, are you gonna be ok ?" Moon asked from the sidelines seeing just how beat up and fatigued he was

"You don't have to do this, everything's gonna be alright. You'll still go to the tournament. You'll prove yourself to Stanford there"

Even though she brought up a good point, Miguel could call it right now and Listen to his body Miguel just shook his head clenching the Gi she made specifically for him together as he looked at her with determination in her eyes

"I gotta do this. I have to see it through, I gotta do this for me" Miguel said before jumping to his feet again heading back to the center of the mat to meet Robby with newfound energy

Sniffling his nose Miguel wiped it before cracking his neck making Robby quality sigh as he tried to muster the strength within himself to keep going

"Ok, two to one, Keene needs one more point to win" Daniel said

Bringing their fist up Miguel had angrily scrunched his face waiting for his moment

"Ready ? Fight !"

Immediately attacking first Miguel struck forcing Robby to block with wide eyes

Putting Robby on the complete defensive as he couldn't even muster the energy to go offense

Miguel continued to strike throwing a kick Robby blocked with his arms before kicking Robby again in his lower leg making him drop to a knee with a groan

Kicking Robby's knee making him fully drop to the mat Miguel raised his leg up before stomping Robby's chest claiming his point

"POINT ! DIAZ TWO TO TWO !" Daniel said making Miguel back away from Robby who just clutched his chest tightly

Sam had Immediately dropped her face before moving from her position so that she could run to the edge of the stage

"Robby !" Sam cried as Robby clutched his chest with a groan

"Robby, you need to call the fight you're killing yourself !" Sam pleaded but Robby just shook his head

"No….."he weakly groaned as he tried to stand up only to fall back down again

"Robby, listen to me if you don't win it's not the end of the world, ok no one will blame you you have nothing left to prove !"

"I Have to prove it to myself Sam" Robby admitted looking at her with a huffed breathe

"I….I have to do this for me, ok this is for me" Robby said before getting up limping to the center of the mat where he met Miguel's scowl

Looking a Daniel who just gave him a concerned look, Robby had only nodded his head leaving Daniel to sigh before shaking his head

"Score's Two to Two, Next point wins" Daniel confirmed as Immediately Miguel brought his hands up with an "AIS !"

Robby tried to bring his hands up but the pain in his gut and his fatigued only stopped him making him groan as he quickly clutched his ribs making everyone gasp

"Robby, can you fight ?" Daniel questioned and Robby honestly had to give it a thought

Opening his mouth ready to respond but Robby soon looked at the crowd seeing Sam's petrified face

Noticing Anthony and even Amanda had the same reaction Robby licked his lips and spoke his face softening as he looked at Daniel with his answer

"Yes" he said with a head nod before turning to Miguel who just put his hands up

"Ready ?" Daniel said but it was more of a question as he looked at Robby

"FIGHT !"

Miguel had Immediately pounced but he stopped once Robby started performing his Kata

Everyone looked at Robby in competition confusion as they watched him take deep breaths and close his eyes

Not knowing how to attack Robby Miguel pounced around trying to find an opening but it didn't seem to work as Robby continued to move like a flow of wind in a breeze

Enlightenment is different to everyone, what's yours ?

Deciding to end this fight Miguel threw a punch directly at Robby and everyone watched as Robby had completely dodged it with his eyes closed making everyone gasp

Even Daniel had his own shocked wide eyed reaction not believing what he was seeing

"He's doing it…" Daniel mumbled

Continuing to have his eyes closed Robby dodged another one of Miguel's pouches before ducking under his High kick

Almost feeling the wind Miguel threw before he was about to Strike Robby had never felt more seeing in a fight as he now blocked Miguel's punching surprising him

Coming to a standstill Robby stood up straight completely anticipating Miguel as he took deep and calming breaths showing no sign of Offense only Defense as he was fully depending on his Miyagi-do

Bringing his fist up Miguel yelled before charging at Robby leaving Robby to take a deep breath as he planned on making his final move

Jumping up into a superman punch Robby dodged Miguel before ducking under his arm swing

Robby raised his leg up to block his knee and also shot out his arm to block his jab

Placing his footdown on the ground Robby grabbed Miguel's arm and shot an arm out making Miguel block before flipping Miguel to the ground

Pinning his leg onto his chest Robby pulled with all his might making Miguel groan and cry out in pain before soon enough he caved tapping his hand on the mat

"POINT ! WINNER !" Daniel said making everyone cheer for Robby

Immediately letting go Robby dropped down to the mat and finally opened his eyes letting out a heavy and hard huff of air as he could finally rest and let go

But he didn't have much to enjoy on his own as Sam had Immediately lunged at him on the mat making Robby chuckle as he hugged her tightly

"YOU DID IT ! GOD THAT WAS AMAZING ! HOW DID YOU DO THAT ! IT'S LIKE YOU KNEW WHERE HE WAS GONNA STRIKE BEFORE HE DID !" Sam said and Robby couldn't stop grinning only looking at her with nothing but a smile as he held her tighter

"I…..I knew what I was fighting for" was all Robby said explaining his reasoning but that was enough for Sam as she Immediately kissed him

Getting back up to his feet Daniel had patted Miguel on the back commending him for his hard effort and great job before Robby stood up as well leaving them both to look at one another

"No hard feelings ?" Robby said not wanting there to be any bad blood

Miguel let silence be brought between them needing time to think

But then he admitted he lost fair and square

"Nah man" Miguel said fist bumping Robby before walking off stage where Moon was Immediately there to hug him holding him close

"Congratulations" Daniel smiled looking at Robby who just smiled back tired as all hell

"I couldn't be more proud"

Taking Robby's hand Daniel raised it high for everyone to see

"Your Male Captain, Robby Keene" Daniel said leaving everyone to clap their hands and cheer for him

"Good Job Robby ! Sorry Miguel" Johnny said

Letting out a groan as he clutched his chest seeing Robby stand on stage, Barnes had patted Eli on the back making him look at his Sensei

"You did great kid, never forget that"

Eli nodded his head

"Thanks Sensei….."

Johnny had traded Ref places with Daniel ready to ref the girl's fight while Tory approached Eli

"Sorry I was late, It seems like I was the reason you didn't get to be Captain…" she said leaving Eli to shake his head

"You're not the reason. I'm just glad your ok" Eli smiled making Tory simply nod her head

"Alright Ladies, Nichols, LaRusso" Johnny said before pointing at Stage

"You and me on the podium right" Robby smiled making Sam smile as well as she nodded her head before going on the stage

"I may not get the chance to be Captain but you still have yours. Go change your life" Eli told Tory making the blonde slightly smile and nod her head

"Break a leg" Amanda said to Tory with a warm smile

"Oh ! not literally" she added but Tory was already moving on the stage

Everyone watched as Sam and Tory stepped upon the stage standing with Johnny far in between them

"Alright bow to me" he said and they did

"Bow to each other" and they did

"May the best woman win" Sam smiled walking up to Tory offering her fist but when she saw it she could only think about her Mother's balled up fist dead on the ground leaving her to shake her breath as her hand hesitated to fist bump with Sam's

"Fighting positions" Johnny said as Sam and Tory got into their fighting positions

It's ok sweetie, life delt us a bad hand, But we can change that because that's what fighters do

Taking a deep breathe as she clenched her fist Tory started to pounce on her toes ready to fight with newfound determination

"Ready ? Fight !" Johnny said and Immediately Tory struck first trying to spartan kick Sam before turning around to swing punch her missing again

Keeping up her aggression Tory kicked Sam to her sides twice before Sam moved back dodging her high Kick

Getting the chance she needed to finally go on the offensive Sam kicked leaving Tory to block before Sam blocked Tory's kick

Immediately dropping to the ground Sam swept Tory's foot making her fall to the mat where Sam claimed her first point striking Tory directly in the chest

"Point ! LaRusso !" Johnny said making everyone cheer and clap their hands

Clapping his hands as well with a smile Robby was clearly the loudest

"LET'S GO SAM !" Robby cheered her on as Sam and Tory got back to the center of the mat

Tory had gotten up more aggressively only huffing her breathe and shaking her head as the claimed point meant more to her much to Sam's notice

"Fighting Positions" Johnny said as they got in them but Sam looked Tory up and down noticing her ansty she was getting

"Is she always like this ?" Moon asked Miguel who had his arms crossed but Miguel just shook his head

"No….no she's not"

"Fi-" Johnny tried to say but Tory didn't wait Immediately striking at Sam making Amanda gasp as Tory threw punch after punch that Sam dodged

Throwing a kick that Sam blocked before swinging another punch that Sam ducked, Tory swept Sam's foot making her drop to the mat but Tory missed her chance to gain a point as Sam rolled out the way getting to her feet making Tory groan

Noticing how aggressive and angry she was Moon had only gripped Miguel's arm tighter getting his attention

"I don't like the way she's acting I know it's Karate and there's fighting but-"

"There's something wrong I can feel it" Miguel agreed

Going back and forth trading strikes and block Tory kicked Sam's hand away before Kicking Sam in the face

"Point Nichols !" Johnny said but Tory wasn't done jumping into a twist kick, kicking Sam in the chest knocking her to the ground

Her extra attack went on everyone's notice as even Eli scrunched his eye before looking up at Barnes

Robby himself raised an eyebrow wondering what was going on and if he had to worry about Sam's safety

"Hey Ref, that's a little overkill don't you think at least a warning ?"

"Yeah yeah, I'm handing it" Johnny said to Daniel making Daniel and Amanda look at each other in concern as Johnny faced the girls again

"I…I'm Fine, I'm fine" Sam said in reassurance but Robby moved from his position with a groan as he clutched his gut

"Sam" he said making her look down at him off the stage

"Sam, Tory's fighting differently. Alright she's more aggressive-"

"Robby I'm fine, I promise" she said said making Robby sigh and bit his lip before nodding his head

"Ok….be safe"

"I will" Sam confirmed before going back to the center of the mat

"Listen, that's a warning. Next one's a deduction" Johnny told Tory but she just rolled up her sleeves before pouncing in place again

"It's one to one. Fighting Positions !" he said leaving Tory and Sam to get into them

"Ready ? Fight !"

Moving around each other Tory fake jabbed at Sam aggressively making her flinch in shock before Tory attacked throwing a punch that Sam blocked grabbing her arm

Immediately getting out of the hold Tory maneuvered herself free before throwing a knee that Sam blocked

Faking Tory out with a double strike Sam claimed her real hit kicking Tory in the gut making the blonde groan

"Point, LaRusso !" Johnny said

"Two to one"

Tory huffed her breathe walking in place and shaking her head as she moved her hands through her hair really starting to scare Eli while Amanda's phone started to ring

Looking at the caller ID it read Research Medical Center making Amanda's eyebrow raise

"Hello ?" Amanda said confusingly picking up the call while Johnny told the girls to get into their fighting positions

Eli and Robby had shared looked both they watched their girlfriends go back to fighting

Holding her fist up Sam examined the look in Tory's eyes, seeing just how far she was slipping into madness and she didn't know if she should finish the fight or stop it….

"Ready ? Fight !" Johnny said

Immediately both Sam and Tory did a spin kick clashing with each other as Sam started blocking Tory's strikes and attacks

Dropping low to try and sweep her feet Tory jumped up in a flip kick as the two completely avoided each other before they went back to fighting

"We need to stop the fight" Amanda told Daniel with an all so serious expression leaving him confused

Throwing swing after swing that Sam blocked, Tory slapped Sam's arm away before performing a side somersault flip so that she could attempt to sweep Sam's leg and go back to striking putting Sam on the defensive

Each attack got more aggressive and angrier From Tory leaving it hard for Sam to keep up and Robby noticed making him quake his eyebrow in fear

Sam tried to strike back but Tory had grabbed her arm moving it away before raising her fist and Robby drew the line there

"SAM !" he yelled jumping on the stage and Eli's eyes went wide before he Immediately followed tackling Robby making everyone gasp

Bringing her first up ready to strike Tory lunged but Daniel was the one catching her fist causing Eli to roll off of Robby as they watched the sight

"The fight's over" Daniel said in a calming voice but Tory only quaked her voice letting her disapprovement be known

"No…no, no no no no THAT'S NOT FAIR THAT COULD'VE BEEN A POINT !" she said as Daniel let go of her hand

"Hey what the hell are you doing man ? I'm the ref. I'll decide when the fight's over" Johnny said said but Daniel was already ready to deal with Johnny

"I'll explain, I promise I have a good reason-"

"Don't stop the fight ! please !" Tory begged but Daniel continued to drag Johnny away

"We can't do this in front of everybody. Not now"

Getting up to their feet Robby was quick to shove Eli in anger

"THE HELL'S YOUR PROBLEM ! TORY WAS ABOUT TO CAVE SAM'S HEAD IN AND YOU WERE JUST GONNA LET HER !"

"IT'S CALLED A FIGHT ! EVER BEEN IN ONE ! WHAT'S WRONG CAN'T WIN ONE WITHOUT HAVING TO CHEAT !"

"I HAVE TO CHEAT OH REALLY !"

"YEAH YOUR NERVE BLOCKING ! HAVING TO GANG UP ON ME WITH MIGUEL ! FACE IT YOU CAN'T BEAT ME ONE ON ONE YOU NEVER HAVE BEEN !"

"I'm fine, Dad. Really" Sam told Daniel approach her two Father Figures but Daniel shook his head

"No, Sam. It's not that. It's not that I promise, Robby protect Sam please Thank you off the deck let's go off the deck let's go" Daniel said and Robby nodded his head before taking Sam's hand holding her protectively as he tried helping her get off the stage but she just fought back pushing him away before following Tory to the center of the mat where they got into their fighting position

Confusion ran high from everyone as so much happened in so little time and no one knew what to say or what to make of it

"Don't tell them what to do. I'm their Sensei too"

"Well then end. the. Fight." Daniel growled

"Why ?!"

"BECAUSE MY MOTHER DIED !" Tory admitted making everyone's jaw drop in shock

The reveal shocked everyone as they now understood Tory's newfound anger and aggression and hearing the news out loud saying it in real time had only made her voice quake

"I'm…..Tory, I'm so so so sorry for your loss" Daniel said as Tory started to hyperventilate not comfortable in staying in one place as she needed something to do

Eli wanted to say something but he didn't know what he didn't know how to help her….

He looked at Barnes for answers but he made the decision of stepping away letting the pros handle this

"We can't continue the fight it's just not the time" Daniel stated but Tory disagreed

"YES, IT IS !" Tory cried

"YES IT IS ! I HAVE TO FIGHT ! NOW !" Tory cried shaking her head as she tried to fight tears but now even Sam disagreed

"No….Tory I don't want to fight you, I…I mean I do but….this….this is not right"

"Sensei Lawrence, some help here, please" Daniel said calling on Johnny for backup but Johnny let out a sigh pursing his lips before he looked at the distressed look on Tory's face

"It's not up to us" he admitted Immediately making Daniel sigh

"If Nichols wants to fight she should fight"

"Dammit Johnny !"

Looking at the comotion still in shock Eli tried to say something again but Daniel beat him to it

"Look, we'll try to find another way to appoint the captain-"

"FIND ANOTHER WAY ! NO ! NO ! YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND !" Tory cried

"NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND !...MY MOM !...SHE WOULD'VE WANTED ME TO DO THIS I HAVE TO DO THIS FOR HER-"

"Tory" Eli finally spoke making her snap her face to him

"You can't fight like this….please….please just breathe…"

"no…Eli…no" she cried as Amanda stepped on the stage

"Tory Look Honey I understand what your feeling ok" Amanda said with a soft smile

"But your just not in the right headspace to fight right now-"

"NO YOU JUST DON'T WANT ME TO BEAT YOUR DAUGHTER !" Tory yelled making Amanda shake her head

"No that's not-"

"BECAUSE WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE YOUR JUST GONNA CHOOSE HER OVER ME !"

Eli's eyes went in pure terror as he knew exactly where those words came from

"There's not enough space for two sets of royalty, There can't be two kings and queens. And when push comes to shove. LaRusso and Lawrence will always choose Keene and LaRusso's Kid"

"Are you sure about that ?" Eli said gaining everyone's eyes

"Is that why you taught Robby and Sam that nerve blocking attack and not everyone else ?" he said making Robby and Sam purse their lips in nothing but Regret

"Eli this is not the time-" Daniel said

"It's not Eli, It's Hawk" Hawk corrected making Daniel groan

Looking back and forth at everything that was happening Tory shook her head being fed up with it all

"FINE !" she shouted making everyone look at her

"YOU WANT THIS FIGHT TO BE OVER ! FINE ! IT'S OVER !" Tory shouted before she immediately stepped down the stage and started to walk away

"Tory, where are you going ?" Robby asked with a sigh

"I'M DONE !" she shouted fully walking away and Hawk only scrunched his face in rage looking everyone just…standing there

"Is anyone gonna go after her ?!" he yelled looking at everyone in this damn dojo and no one made a move

"Eli" Amanda said making him turn to her

"Tory's going through a hard time right now-"

"I know what she's going through ! I WAS THE ONE HELPING HERE ! I'VE BEEN THE ONLY ONE HELPING HER !"

"If you wanna help her Kid" Barnes said stepping on the stage getting Hawk's attention

"Let her cool off, she'll come back when she's ready"

Barnes was just trying to help but it did more damage than good as Hawk only scoffed and shook his head

"So you too huh, I thought you said you'd be different ?...what was that just a lie too" Hawk growled leaving Barnes speechless

Giving one last look at everyone seeing that truly no one was gonna go after her Hawk scoffed as he got off the stage walking away

But Demetri was actually the one to step in front of him stopping his path

But unlike last time they were face to face Hawk had a face of a madman and he wasn't afraid to let it be known

"Get out of my way, or I'll fuck you up worse than last time" he threanted making Demetei clench his fist

"Demetri" Robby said and the simple call of his name made him listen soon moving out of his way letting Hawk pass

Immediately starting to walk, Hawk came to a stop. Not looking back at at Demetri but just turning his head

"I guess you got your wish Demetri…..we're not going to Barcelona Together" Hawk admitted before walking away leaving everyone to watch not just one but two of their top 6 members walk out the door

And Miguel's heart only dropped as what he feared the most…came true

Hawk said marchig after her as she didn't show any signs of stopping

Jogging faster as he tried to approach her Hawk Immedialty ducked when she turned back and tried to punch him

"STAY AWAY FROM ME !" Tory shouted with every fiber in her being leavine Hawk completely speechless

"Tory…..I'm not gonna do that"

"WHY ! WHY WON'T ANY OF YOU LISTEN ! I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP ! YOU WANNA BE PART OF THEM WELL GO AHEAD ! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE !"

"Tory I'm not apart of them !" Eli admitted

"Ok I left !...I quit"

The news had visibly shocked Tory as it was shown on her face, just more surprises for her to learn

Tory tried to say something but Eli cut her off

"Don't say anything just let me speak" he began

"Tory….I…..I love you, you mean the world to me. I….I can't imagine waking up hell I can't imagine life without you" he said as he took her hands trying to calm her down

"We've gone through too much separation and I…." Hawk shook his head trying to fight his tears

"I can't be away from you anymore…..I won't…I'm tired of us being split apart every time we have a fight and if I had the chance to stop that I would take it in a heartbeat"

Brining a hand up to wipe her tears as she started to cry his own feel

"I'm done fighting against you, I'm done being on the opposing team as you. I promised you we'd be on the same side and I mean it, no more splitting up, no more fighting"

Seeing Tory practically come apart. She didn't say anything, she just fully let the tears flow, plunging face first into his chest as she fully started to cry, Hawk slowly sunk to the ground with her as he just held her tightly letting his tears fall as well as he stroked her hair in a soothing fashion trying to give her some form of reassurance

It was probably the first real time she let her cry but that's all she did but Hawk didn't care

He was there for her

He was gonna be there for her

No more separation, no more being apart

"No more being on opposing teams"

"GREAT WORK, LARUSSO ! YOU JUST LOST TWO OF OUR BEST FIGHTERS !" Johnny yelled

"WHY the hell didn't you back me up ?" Daniel growled stepping up to Johnny

"HER MOTHER JUST DIED ! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU ?!"

Letting out an uncontrolled groan as he gripped his head Johnny spoke

"SHE WAS WORKING THROUGH IT !" Johnny shouted leaving Daniel speechless

"When my mom died, all I wanted to do was get on the mat for three rounds. IT WOULD HAVE HELPED ME THEN ! IT WOULD HAVE HELPED HER NOW !"

Daniel shook his head

"WE DON'T TEACH THESE KIDS TO FIGHT WITH ANGER ! IT'S !...THAT'S !...THAT'S NOT THE MIYAGI-DO WAY !"

"Oh please ! I'm so sick ! and tired of hearing that name !" Johnny groaned with an eyeroll

"You act so high and mighty, like Miyagi was some perfect angel. But he wasn't !" Johnny said as they bumped shoulders walking past one another

"I heard about his dirty little box of secrets" Johnny said Making Daniel step up to him

"Mr Miyagi was a liar and a thief !"

With no hesitation no remorse, Daniel punched Johnny straight in the face making Johnny bring a hand up to his nose

"Shit ! Johnny I….I'm sorry-"

"QUIET !" Johnny yelled making Daniel go silent

Wiping his nose with the sleeve of his Gi, Johnny sniffled his nose

"No it's….It's my fault. I apologize, I….I know how much Mr Miyagi means to you, I overstepped a boundary"

Brining a finger to his nose Johnny sighed

"Good to know you know how to be aggressive" Johnny said making Daniel sigh as he shook his head

"Look at the mess we're in, Tournaments only a few weeks away and we just lost Eli and Tory, our two most aggressive fighters….what are we gonna do ?"

Letting out his own sigh Johnny put his hands up to rest on his head as he too tried to wrap his mind around the deep shit they were in

"Training for the Sekai Taikai has been hard on all of us" Daniel said as he looked at all the students

"But now training is over. Now while most of you won't be going to Barcelona, We know you'll be there in spirit" Daniel said as Robby, Sam and Miguel looked at each other

"And since Neither Tory or Eli will be going with us…..we've decided that Devon and Kenny will take their spots" Johnny said shocking the two teens as everyone started to clap their hands

Devon and Kenny had Immediately moved to the front so that they could line up with the top 6 before anyone could disagree

"You six, will be fighting for Miyagi-Fang, It will be the toughest Challenge any of you have ever faced. And to win, we're all gonna need to be there for each other" Daniel said

"All of us, as a team" Johnny added making Daniel and Barnes look at him

"Captains, step forward" Barnes said and Immediately Robby and Sam smiled proudly as they stepped forward among the top 6

"Chris, Bring up the official Sekai Taikai Captain headbands" Johnny said

Following Orders Chris brought up the case that read Sekai Taikai Best of the Best

And Daniel had just opened it revealing the two white clothes of Fabric

Both Daniel and Johnny grabbed a headband before walking to their kids as Johnny put the headband on Robby while Daniel placed the headband on Sam

Leaving them to have nothing more but proud smiles on their faces

Placing the headband on Robby Johnny looked at his son with a smile

"Looking like a true leader" he said making Robby smile

Looking at Sam Daniel placed the headband around her head but his simple had soon faded once he noticed something worrying Sam

"Dad, what's wrong ?" she said as Daniel squinted his eyes at the Sekai Taikai logo on her head

Opening the door to Mr Miyagi's old room and now Chozen's current one Daniel grabbed at Mr Miyagi's box they found and started to dig through it before he soon enough found it

With shaking hands Daniel found an old but very similar Sekai Taikai Captains headband

"Mr Miyagi fought in the Sekai Taikai ?" Daniel mumbled opening the headband fully so that he could see the dried up blood coated in it making his heart drop as he just thought about the headbands he put across his kids heads

Barcelona, Spain

Following the line of different dojos wearing different Gi's align with other teams Miyagi-Fang continued to walk looking at the atmosphere around them as they had to admit

This is like nothing they've ever seen before….

Miguel had to remind Moon about the custom Gi's because he had to admit they did look badass

Devon took Tory's color in Purple But Kenny Took Orange as now instead of the Red Moskowitz and the Purple Nichols it was a Purple Lee and an Orange Payne

Turns out Moon and Yasmine had enough time for the Sensei's as well as Johnny, Daniel, Barnes and Chozen had all followed their Gi customization but instead of having their own separate colors Johnny and Barnes had a gold color outline while Daniel and Chozen had a silver one

Walking down a flight of stairs the team entered a large arena where they went to line up, taking a deep breath as they soaked it all in the Sekai Taikai….they were finally here

Lined up among all the other Dojos, The team looked at everyone else before them all the different color Gi's and different Dojos making them smile proudly

Especially Robby and Sam who looked at one another before holding hands

Turning their heads as they saw another team enter all their eager and proud expressions dropped once they saw the Black Gi's walk in,

The team had Immediately scrunched their faces and raised their eyebrows once they saw them but with a closer look all their eyes went wide seeing that they were indeed Cobra Kai

Led by Kwon who just smirked. Stepping in line as he tightened his belt all the Miyagi-Fangs looked at each other in confusion seeing Kwon turn his head to look at Kreese and Sensei Kim lining up with them across the mat

The sight of them only shocked Daniel and Johnny more but that wasn't even the biggest surprise

With smirks on their faces Krese and Sensei Kim looked at each other eagerly as the last two members of Cobra Kai revealed themselves Making Robby, Sam, Miguel and Demetri's eyes practically pop out of their skulls in pure shock

Revealing themselves behind Kreese and Kim Kwon watched Tory and Hawk take their places in line looking across the mat to see their former team right there looking at them

But even worse…..Eli's straight hair was red again

Seeing them only made Johnny and Barnes sigh while Daniel and Chozen pursed their lips with a head shake but nothing stopped Miguel, Sam, Robby and Demetri from looking at one another before glaring at Tory and Eli for the decision they made and more importantly the side they choose

Relishing in the face of his enemies Kreese couldn't get enough knowing he had everything he needed to win

"Let the Games Begin" Kreese said before chuckling
