Chapter 1512 King of Atlantis
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
At Batman's world inside a prison it gets destroyed and someone dives into the sea. Many guards were in shock as they checked the area to see he was gone.
"He got away!"
Inside the water was Aquaman as he managed to escape through a small chance and is heading back to his kingdom.
"I must return to deal with this." He said. "My people wull assist me."
Arthur returns back to Atlantis and walks down the halls, he saw the soldiers all glaring at him.
"My people." He said.
"We no longer serve you." A soldier said.
"What?" He said.
He saw the doors to the throne room opened revealing Yoshiro holding the trident sitting on the throne.
"Who are you? Why are sitting in my throne?" demanded Arthur.
"I am Yoshiro, the new Aquaman and king." He raises the trident.
"But i'm Aquaman!" argued Arthur.
"Not anymore." Mera came out going to Yoshiro's side.
"M-Mera?!" said Arthur seeing his wife go to his side.
"You betrayed our kingdom, to give it to Superman. I do not see the man I onced love. You are nothing to me." She kisses Yoshiro's cheek.
Arhtur gets furious seeing that, "You wretch! It's for the betterment of our people!"
"By serving a mad man, you made your choice and we rejected you, your own weapon picked Yoshiro as the new Aquaman." Mera said.
"Yes and as a king would say... Seize him." Yoshiro points at Arthur.
The guards rushed at Aquaman grabbing on to him.
"No stop! You can't do this to me!" said Arthur trying to shake them away.
Arthur was dragged away to the dungeon leaving them alone.
"Well that takes care of him for now." Yoshiro said.
He looks at Mera. "Are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine its just shocking that he became like this." said Mera.
He patted her shoulder. "You don't have to worry, I am here now."
Mera smiles, as she was glad she found someone new to care for.
At the dungeon
Arthur was inside a cell as he looks around.
"It should have been me, i'm the true king of Atlantis not him!" said Arthur in anger.
"Such a shame." He looks to see Brain Drain come out.
"Who are you?!"
"Do not yell, I am Brain Drain, the rival of Yoshiro."
"His rival? What do you want?" said Arthur.
"Your cooperation of course, I will free you and in return you will follow my orders to help in my plan to destroy Yoshiro." He said.
Arthur closely listens in on what he has to say.
"You see, what I want the most of him, is the small dragon he has to make a experiment on it. But in order to get it I must destroy Yoshiro first." He said.
"Whats so special about his dragon?"
"It's very simple, it has a potential that I must learn. Of course you would need to be ready as you don't have your trident anymore." Brain Drain said.
"There are other tridents." said Arthur recalling some.
"Oh you mean this." Brain Drain takes out the black trident.
"Thats Kordax's trident!" said Arthur with widened eyes seeing the cursed trident.
"Yes, I found it and repaired it. Should you join me i'll allow you to use it." He said.
Arthur felt a smile on him, thinking he'll have payback against Yoshiro.
Of course Brain Drain is aware of the curse within the trident, so he'll use Arthur as a guinea pig for it.
"What is your answer?" Brain Drain said.
"I'm in." siad Arthur grabbing the trident.
Brain Drain chuckles as he takes Arthur with him.
With Yoshiro
He was with Black manta as the villain was restrained on a stand.
"I didn't wish to do this." Yoshiro said.
"So your the new Aquaman." He said.
"Yes, I don't wish for the sins of the previous ruler affect Atlantis, so I just wish to have you be redeemed." Yoshiro said.
Black Manta got surprised. "Really? How do you intend to do that?"
Harley and the Suicide Squad came. "Hey Manta!"
"Oh no, not them again." Black Manta said.
"Hey is there any way to treat friends." Boomerang said.
"I left your group." Black Manta said.
"Come on, theres no Waller so we can do what we want." Harley said.
Croc frees him and grabs Manta over his shoulders.
"Seriously?" Black Manta said.
"We gotta make sure you don't run." Deadshot said.
"Plus having us all together will be great." Peacemaker said.
"Well i'm just glad he can have a chance." Yoshiro said.
"We could always use his skills." Bronze Tiger said.
"Yeah welcome back." Boomerang said to Manta.
He sighs as the Suicide Squad takes him back with them.
"Looks like this is what i'm going to do now." Manta said.
"Yeah, we'll have fun like good old times." Harley said.
"Friend." King Shark said.
Manta shakes his head since these guys are hard to intimidate.
"We needed your skills since we just had Croc and Shark in the swim team." Bloodsport said.
"Good luck you guys." Yoshiro said.
"Yeah, and say hi to the family for us." Boomerang said.
Harley waves bye as the group took Manta with them since they needed him back into the team.
Yoshiro just hopes he can be redeemed. "His true enemy was defeated, if Aquaman is evil, then his rival should be on the side of good."
He goes back to ruling the kingdom since they need him, he saw Andrina go towards him. Yoshiro smiles and holds her up as the little baby smiles at him.
"I'll protect you from now on." He smiles.
Andrina still doesn't know the truth because of her age and thinks he is her father. But to protect her happiness he will do it as a baby doesn't deserve to suffer.
Note: Aquaman was free before he saw his Kingdom in the hands of Yoshiro, making Brain Drain take him as a ally, also Black Manta got sent to the Suicide Squad again as a way of redemption.
